I had the festive board cater my March wedding, and I had an amazing experience working with them. They were always responsive to my (many) emails, texts and questions and they really went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I had a great wedding experience.
During the wedding itself, the buffet went seamlessly including the friends who needed special accommodations for their meals. We got a lot of compliments on both the food and drink and the staff made sure that my husband and I got food which was likely the only reason I was able to eat that night!
It was really a joy to work with them, and I appreciate how much effort and attention to detail went into their work. All their staff were amazing and friendly and our day of coordinator, Dorothy definitely went above and beyond for us. I am so grateful for their team! -

Joy and the entire Festive Boards team added so much heart and care to our wedding day. From the very beginning, they treated us with genuine kindness and made us feel so supported throughout the whole planning process. On the day of the wedding, their coordination, warmth, and attention to detail were extraordinary.
The food was incredible—not only delicious but clearly made with pride and creativity. Our guests are still talking about it. But beyond the food, it was the service that made the biggest impact. Joy’s team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and they did it all with such a joyful and uplifting spirit.
We couldn’t be more grateful. Festive Boards helped make our wedding feel effortless, beautiful, and filled with love. We wholeheartedly recommend Joy and her team to anyone wanting a catering experience that is both exceptional and deeply caring. -

Best catering possible!
I met Ed and his team at the Wedding Expo in Lancaster on 11.19.23. Not only did they have AMAZING food to sample but they had different drawings and information available. I was selected to receive a gift certificate and spoke w/ Ed the next day to plan a menu.
The entire consulting process couldn't have been better!! The service that Festive Board offers is second to none and completely takes the stress of catering out of your hands! As Ed said during the consultation, he and his team only need 4 things from you and that's it! They handle everything else.
Not only do they help you plan your meal but they also send you and your fiancé the meal to try! The day after speaking with Ed to plan the meal a member of his team (Dorothy) personally delivered two plates of the meal we planned for my fiancé and I to try! And let me tell you the food was AMAZING!
They also offer different payment plans to make sure that you can afford the best food and service possible for your special day.
I couldn't be more grateful for Ed and his entire team at Festive Board. I would recommend them 100%! -

From start to finish, our experience with Festive Board was great. I really wanted to find a "full service" catering package and they truly provide that for an amazing price. They provide all the linens, china, food, servers, bartenders, & cleanup. I worked with Ed to create our menu and then received the main course in the mail to taste-test at home. During the final review meeting with Brigitte, I did change 1 original food choice and had no issues doing that. The day of the wedding, Dorothy was our coordinator and she was excellent. I noticed I miscommunicated and that some place settings and seats were missing prior to the start of our ceremony, and she quickly worked to make those corrections for us. Dorothy also brought me and my husband a plate of hors d'oeuvres while we took photos after the ceremony, and made sure that our drinks of choice were waiting for us at the sweetheart table when we made our grand entrance. We were served our meals first and Dorothy was so pleasant all evening. Everything was delicious! The staff also helped to breakdown the buffet and some tables to make room for the dance floor. Bartenders were professional and made sure the drinks were flowing all night. Any extra food and alcohol was packed up for us at the end of the night. Overall, an amazing vendor that I would 100% recommend. -

aylor and her whole crew was fantastic! She is an excellent communicator and she answered my millions of questions ahead of the big day. Her team went above and beyond with setting our our decor, preparing our specialty drinks to perfection and accommodating shifting timelines. We went with the most affordable menu and the food was excellent while being within our budget. Taylor also made sure we ate during cocktail hour and had full plates of food served directly to us at the start of our reception. All the servers and bartender were so friendly and hospitable. The best part is that my family has a new favorite deli in the area!!! We love Festive Board!!! -

Festive Board catered our wedding on 5/20/2023 and I cannot say enough great things about our experience with them. From the moment we reached out to them about catering our wedding they treated us with kindness and professionalism. Festive Board was extremely affordable. After speaking over the phone and developing a menu, they shipped everything to our house in ice packed box with directions to heat in the oven. We were able to taste test everything from the comfort of our own home.
Joy and her team were ABSOLUTELY amazing the day of the wedding. They took care of so many little details and set up all the decor on all the tables. It looked beautiful. My mom said she shed a tear when she walked in the reception space and saw their set up. Joy and her team were very attentive to us as the bride and groom. They made sure to bring us cocktails and a plate of hors d’oeuvres while we were getting our pictures after the ceremony. During the reception they were very attentive to our guests making sure their drinks were full and plates were cleared. At the end of the night they tore down all our decor, packed up the remaining food, and removed all the trash in a matter of minutes.
I’d highly recommend Festive Board for your next event! -

Festive Board Catering really came through for me. I had booked a food truck for our 9/10/22 wedding which ended up canceling on us a few months prior. When I reached out to Festive Board, I spoke with Ed in great detail about all of our needs and was given clear and concise information about the options for food and services they offered. We were able to craft a menu and inclusive set up/clean up for the day. Ed also overnighted us plates of food for us to warm up and sample beforehand. Everything we tried was delicious! On the wedding day the staff was tremendous and everything went smoothly, we even had a bunch of leftover food to bring home and share with venue staff! The day of coordinator that Festive Board includes with their catering packages was just the cherry on top of already incredible service! I’m so happy we were able to book them in time! -

I can't sing their praises enough. Chuck was our point of contact with Festive board and he truly went above and beyond. During cocktail hour while while the wedding party was getting photos with family they brought food and snacks out to us to ensure we were able to get something to eat. After the Ceremony Chuck brought drinks out for myself and my bride to celebrate. As she was about to walk down the isle he fluffed out the train on her dress. We had a buffet style dinner but he plated us before serving any other guests. As we did out grand entrance Chuck stood to the side so he could hold the bouquet while we did our first dance. Our cake didn't arrive on time due to a mix-up and Chuck offered to run out and get one for us. I truly can't say enough amazing things about Festive Board and Chuck specifically. -

My husband and I used The Festive board to cater our wedding and they were professional, timely, and reasonably priced. Above all, the food was excellent! The appetizers were delicious and the doughnut wall was a really neat niche addition, that also happened to be amazing tasting. I would highly recommend them to anyone. -

Amazing Service!
We used Festive Board for a brunch, buffet-style wedding. The service was absolutely amazing. They took care of everything we needed from setting up our table decor to helping tear down afterwards. When my husband and I were busy taking pictures during cocktail hour, Nicky made sure to keep the drinks coming and had a plate of our cocktail hour appetizers at our sweetheart table when we got there. The food and the service are outstanding! We would recommend Festive Board Catering to any of our friends. -

We LOVED working with festive board for our wedding! They were incredibly helpful, flexible, professional, and friendly to work with. We had multiple meetings, they provided a very affordable package, and they even delivered plates of food to our home, with champagne, to try for tasting! Our meat carving station has been talked about multiple times by our wedding guests - everyone raves about the amazing food! 💯 would go with Festive Board again! -

We were so pleased with The Festive Board! They provided plenty of options to choose from for our wedding. But what we were most impressed with was all they included in their catering price. Bartender, insurance, linens, glassware, set up, tear down, trash removal....and more. We absolutely LOVED the food too! Our guests are still talking about how good it was. Our catering team lead Nikki was so attentive and on top of everything. The Festive Board was so easy to work with. They made our food dreams on our wedding day a wonderful reality! -

Festive Board was absolutely amazing. They really know how to put on a show and provide exceptional service. From meeting them at a bridal show to the very end the staff was friendly and amazing. Our first meeting with Ed was great, he provided all the details and that were included in the service and stuck true to his word about no hidden cost and add on cost of things such as linens. We were provided a plate of the foods we selected for our wedding which was a huge plus. We had to postpone our wedding from 2020 and Ed was understanding and sympathetic to not only me as a bride but also didn’t would put his staff in harms way with the unknown of Covid at the time . I worked with Nikki and Taylor thorough the planning stages of the wedding and they were amazing to work with . My day of coordinator Taylor was great on the day of. Having some catering experience myself the staff (servers/chefs) were phenomenal. They kept my drinks coming and the tables clear. The bartender was very personable and her smile was very inviting! I had a chance to talk to some of the other crew members and they were just amazing ( I appreciate Festive “allowing” the staff to interact) The food was so delicious and we had plenty for all our guest. We had a couple of special request and they delivered without hesitation. We wanted to have a pig roast and have it on display and they delivered. Also requested our appetizers be served in a boat and fish plates (out theme) and they delivered beyond my expectations. Last request was a special one for the grooms side of the family, they have a special celebratory drink at the of the wedding ceremony and they were happy to honor and accommodate and that meant the WORLD to my in-laws. They also provided set and clean up which was beyond helpful.
I cant recommend Festive Board enough, they truly made my wedding smooth sailing and I can’t really thank ALL of them enough. -

Amazing Staff!
WOW! What an AMAZING the staff from the Festive Board at both the rehearsal dinner on Friday 4/2 & the wedding reception at Ben Franklin Park on Sat. 4/3/21. A small buffet at rehearsal as a a set up/drop off was perfect for our needs. For the reception, the bride & groom chose a taco bar. It was plentiful & delicious! Candace was very easy to work with, super efficient & friendly and her staff seem to love her. Kathy at the bar also did an incredible job with attention to detail with additional decorating details for the sweetheart table & her bar area. All the guests, bride & groom, other vendors & family members were very happy with the Festive Board food, hospitality & professionalism.
As a wedding planner, I've worked with a lot of caterers and you all are among my favorites for sure! You will love the attention to detail from start to finish if you go with this group! 5 stars!!!FESTIVE BOARD CATERING & DELI INC's reply:

The Festive Board catered our wedding on 1.10.21. Nikki and Ed made our foodie dreams come true, with a macaroni bar served in martini glasses. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Nikki checked on us the entire night, and made sure to set aside plates for us to enjoy cocktail hour snacks after our photos. Their bartenders were so nice and extremely professional. They cut and served our cake, and refilled and managed our cocoa and coffee bar. They helped with table preparation and turnover in our venue location, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Thank you for helping making our night magical and oh so tasty! I promise you need them to be a part of your big event! -

I was so upset having to reschedule my wedding for covid. My only day to reschedule at my venue was Labor Day. Ed was so patient and helpful with the changes. I was stuck between 3 different catering company. I went for a tasting to each one but I have to say the one that was the most friendliest, welcoming, and professional was festive board. They promised to make sure my day will be stress free they only want me to bring in the favors, cake, and centerpiece and they will be in charge of the rest! Which is such a weight off our shoulder. The food was also amazing, they packed up the left over and gave us extra desserts and food for us to take home. Truly felt at peace with my decision on choosing them to cater on our big day! -

From day 1, our caterer was so nice and hospitable. They didn't treat us just like customers, we were treated like family. We felt like they had everything under control from the get go. They were our food, bar, linens, dishes and silverware. For us, having everything built into one was a plus for us, less people we have to try and coordinate. Everyone enjoyed the food, it was very delicious. I would definitely recommend this caterer to anyone and everyone who wants personable service. -

We hired Festive Board catering based off a stand I visited at a wedding show in York. I was expecting the service to be adequate, but they definitely exceeded our expectations! The food was amazing, and our guests raved about the cocktail hour appetizers! The service was great, and all-inclusive! In our package was: dinner (buffet style), appetizers, set-up and tear down, 2 certified bar tenders, trash removal, linens, place settings, and a day-of catering coordinator who kept our time line on track. All we really had to do for the reception was provide favors, alcohol, cake, and centerpieces... the rest was taken care of by the company. I would definitely recommend Festive Board!! -

We met them just a few weeks ago at a wedding expo and they are one of the only caterers that provided clear prices. We called with our idea for a menu and set us for a time to come. They met with us on a Sunday evening after Ed worked all day! Our tasting was wonderful and Ed went through everything from services to equipment to food with me, my fiancé, and my mom.
We then had a couple of issues with our bank and Ed was so accommodating and flexible and understanding! From the very beginning, Ed gave us his personal cell and has been attentive! We are so excited to continue to work with them! -

I had NOTHING to worry about! Our food was hot and delicious. Everyone loved what we served. We had beef tenderloin in hunter sauce and chicken Chesapeake and everyone loved it. The appetizers I did get to eat were delicious too. Our bartender did a great job. Overall everything was great and our day of manager Amanda was very helpful and professional. A few days before she spent over an hour on the phone with me and really helped me relax about everything. I was also originally weary as they were catering other weddings the same day but I did not think that affected our quality at all. We were very happy with everything. -

My wife and I are so incredibly thankful for Festive Board for helping to make our wedding so damn perfect. The food was great but the service was even better despite it being an incredibly hot day/venue.
First the bartenders were top notch. Super friendly and always made each drink to perfection. My cocktail of choice was a Moscow Mule and it was one of the best ones I've ever had.
Secondly, the staff was always so attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our day was perfect. I wish I would've personally shaked everyone's hand because we've never felt so catered in our lives.
Lastly, our supervisor, Jennifer, was AWESOME! She made sure we had everything we needed, made sure we were perfectly fed and assisted in more ways than we could've imagined. Helping us organize our dessert table to perfection.
We were so pleased with everything that we will be frequent customers. Already looking forward to seeing familiar faces and eating their delicious food again! Wishing their team continued success! -

Festive Board does it all, and they do it well. Not only was the food delicious, but every service, need and detail we could think of was covered, and they were prepared for every contingency. Their depth of experience was a welcome guide as we planned our timeline and thought through the day. Chuck was fun to work with, took personal care in the day's execution and planning, and bent over backwards to make us feel special and celebrated! -

WOW! Festive Board Catering exceeded all of my expectations. They were fantastic. We had some communication issues in the beginning but once we got closer to the wedding everything was smooth sailing! Our day of coordinator was Nikki. I can't say enough great things about her. She was so professional and made my day run so smooth! They took care of absolutely everything! setting up the reception area, cutting the cake, boxing the left overs, boxing the cake, cleaning up everything and more!! My reception and cocktail hour ran so smooth thanks to Nikki and her team! The bartenders were amazing and so friendly! Now lets talk about the food... it was amazing! All of our guests loved the food! Nikki made sure a plate was made and ready for my husband and I. It was fantastic! We had the leftovers the next day and they were just as good. I really cannot say enough about how happy I am with this company. They really were fantastic and so helpful the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend using them and ask for Nikki she is great!! Great food, Amazing service, friendly staff!! -

When we first tried the food from Festive Board at a wedding expo we thought it was delicious. We loved the fact that Festive Board provided a RAMP Certified licensed bartender. That saved us from having the added expense of hiring a separate bartender. The bartender was amazing, she knew what our drink was and ensured that she saved a bottle of our favorite wine to enjoy after the wedding. The staff was extremely nice day of the wedding and made sure that there was plenty of food for everyone. They even thought of adding the nice touch of having one employee bring a tray of hors d'oeuvre to the wedding party so they could enjoy some food during pictures. At the end of the night any of the food that was not consumed by the guests they packed up for us and put in the fridge. They also took on the responsibility of cutting the cake and distributing it to all of the guests. Overall I would recommend them to anyone because their staff is great and they have fantastic food. -
