Spectacular!

Nerida was amazing throughout the entire process of the wedding planning and wedding day. She uses a tool for wedding planning that worked quite well and allowed us to stay engaged and up to date on the different wedding tasks, despite both of us being in different time zones. When the wedding day started, I immediately felt relaxed when Nerida's team arrived at the hotel. Special thanks to Nerida's assistant Michelle who was amazing and super supportive throughout both wedding planning and wedding day. She was with me during the wedding prep in the hotel that afternoon and allowed me to stop stressing and start enjoying the day. Also, special thanks to Nerida's assistant that help my husband and his groomsmen while they were getting ready and taking pictures. She was amazing and my husband felt that she did an awesome job as well coordinating and telling him where to go before the ceremony. When the ceremony started and Nerida helped me get out of the car, she had some beautiful words that she shared with me before I started walking down the isle. I was really nervous and her kind words helped me stay present in the moment and enjoy it. I will forever treasure those words. Her engagement throughout the entire event was top notch. My stress went away and Nerida and her team took care of everything. Everything was well organized and we felt that it could have not been better. Thanks again to Nerida and her team for giving us the wedding of our dreams. You really made it magical for us.

Wonderful Home Wedding in Ponce

Nérida did a fantastic job for our wedding! She was very professional and responsive to any of our requests. She did a great job staying within our budget and controlling expectations.

We coordinated everything with her while we were in Atlanta, GA for a wedding in Ponce, PR. We had a backyard wedding in the outskirts of Ponce and she did a fantastic job coordinating venders for food, music, photography, and decorating.

She is extremely fluent in communicating in both English and Spanish and helped us understand everything clearly.

We will be recommending Nérida to any friends or family getting married on the island!

The absolute BEST!!!

Nerida will forever be a blessing in our lives. She not only was the absolute BEST wedding planner anyone could ask for, but also a beautiful human being that we embraced as part of our family.

We live in Texas and plans for our wedding in Puerto Rico started a little over a year in advance. Right away I was blown away by Nerida’s organization, incredible work ethic, and professionalism. She used a web-based platform that allowed us to track progress, share ideas and keep continuos communication. Even from a distance, I felt like she grabbed my hand and walked me through the entire planning process in the smoothest way possible. There was never a moment when I felt lost or overwhelmed, and there was never a question that she could not answer. Nerida understood our vision and all the vendors utilized came recommended by her. Every one of them were equally professional and did an amazing job!

I had no doubt that our wedding was going to be perfect because there was not a single detail that Nerida didn’t think of in advance. However, when the actual day came by, I can honestly say that Nerida surpassed all my expectations!!! Stating that she went above and beyond to ensure everything was on point, does not even start to explain it. From making sure that I felt calm and relaxed (even with the rain) to even comforting some of our guests… Nerida, there are no words to express our gratitude! A couple’s wedding day is always a moment to cherish forever, but ours was extra special and that will always be thanks to you.

The absolute best

Nérida worked with us for over a year to help create our dream wedding. When we first met with her, we had some ideas, but were not sure of what we wanted. She showed us pictures of different styles and recommended vendors that she believed would help us accomplish our vision. Everyone she recommended went above and beyond to assure everything was perfect. During the time we worked with Nérida, it amazed me how much time she dedicated to us. It felt as if she was always available to talk, meet and answer any questions we had. During the weeks leading up to our wedding, she was super attentive and checked in many times to see how we were feeling and go over any to do lists. She uses an online platform which is very user friendly and keeps everything organized and accessible. On our wedding day, Nérida took care of every small detail. On July 23,2022 we had the pleasure of working with Nerida Alvarez as our wedding planner, and I couldn't be happier with the exceptional service and support we received.

From the very beginning, Nerida demonstrated a remarkable attention to detail and was very open to new vendors suggestions.

Throughout the planning process, she went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our wedding was meticulously planned and executed. Their expertise and guidance were invaluable in helping us make important decisions and turning our vision into a reality. She was always available to answer our questions and address any concerns, providing prompt and clear communication.

On the day of our wedding we had an unexpected activity near the Venue and Nerida make the necessary arrangements to make the wedding possible. Nerida and her team truly exceeded our expectations.

What truly sets Nerida apart is her exceptional post-wedding support. After the wedding Nerida continue to be very involved with follow ups, specially with the videographer who do not comply with the delivery timeline expected. In other words, after the celebration was over she continued to provide assistance with vendor follow-ups, ensuring that any loose ends were tied up and that we were completely satisfied with all the services provided. This level of dedication and commitment to their clients is rare and greatly appreciated.

I cannot recommend Nerida highly enough. Their passion for their work, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to their clients make them an exceptional wedding planner.

My wedding was beautiful, simple and so much fun. It was the PERFECT wedding and it's all because of them. I came to them with a simple idea and they worked their magic and brought it to life. If you think you don't need a wedding planner, think again and if you think you can go with just any one THINK AGAIN!

Nerida is a top-notch planner and I am incredibly lucky to have had her help. She always made use feel as though she had everything 100% under control. Trust me, you want this is a planner!! Nerida and her team are a DREAM TEAM!!!!

Words can honestly not describe what an incredible experience we had with Nerida and her team! They helped make our wedding a TRUE fairy tail! After we spoke to Nerida the first time, we knew she was the absolutely best person for the job. From the very beginning her communication was so on point and very responsive. We never felt like we had to reach out for anything as she was always very proactive and thought of things way before we did, which made it less stressful for us. She was so organized and detailed in all the questions she had. Once we discussed the concept/ideas it's as she fully understood what we meant and was fully right on! Her recommendations with EVERY SINGLE THING was spot on!!!!!

She really walked us through logistics and details so perfectly and assured us that everything would be perfectly handled, which everything was perfect. This is no exaggeration, because it was actual perfection. If there was something that went wrong/could have gone wrong we never knew cause she and her team managed everything so flawlessly. There was a moment at the church where the bridal car to go to the reception had not arrived on time and she did NOT break a sweat and played it so cool. She just kept having more of our family members come up to take pics at the altar while the car arrived and no one would have ever known!

While at the reception, all marks were hit without missing a beat. She shared a run of shows for the day which was awesome for us! The walk down the aisle (btw the groom arrived late to the church and she moved me fast to hide inside a souvenir before the first look and it's as if she had done this a million times while keeping me fully calm) the dance, the speeches, the cake cutting, the bouquet toss, everything was flawless thanks to her timing for things. She would come up to me and whisper or ask things very subtly without ever stopping the party.

She and her team were always near and would step in when needed (it was amazing how intuitive they are). It's like she read our minds when both my mom and I needed to change our shoes. One of my bridesmaids had a stain on her dress and miraculously was able to remove it without anyone noticing! Many more guests mentioned how helpful and resourceful the team was!

A detail that really stood out to me was how passionate she and her team are and it truly SHOWS in her work! I would recommend her to everyone! Nerida eres una super mega rock star en nuestro libro y siempre estaremos tan y tan agradecidos por hacer nuestro día tan especial. Con muchísimo cariño, Gaby y Scott! XO

Nerida is on top of it

When I started planning my PR wedding from Chicago, I selected Nerida because she was very responsive and experienced compared to other planners I considered. Nerida is well connected with all the top wedding vendors on the island, making the selection and management process seamless.

On the day of, Nerida and Tania (her assistant and Master of Ceremony) were amazing and did a great job at coordinating the ceremony and reception. If there were any hiccups that day, my husband and I were blissfully unaware to them. We couldn’t be more grateful to them for allowing us to enjoy our wedding day with minimal stress.

Nerida was just the best! Had to postpone my wedding due to Covid so we ended working together for 2 whole years! She was always very responsible and available whenever I needed her. *The best* in every sense

I cannot rave about Nerida and her team enough, they are spectacular! We started planning our wedding a little less than a year out and booked Nerida after quickly realizing that planning a wedding in PR from Colorado was not going to be smooth sailing. I needed help vetting vendors and on the day of the wedding, so we hired Nerida as a "partial" coordinator. She provided great recommendations for all our vendors, stayed on top of managing and organizing the details in the time leading up to the wedding, and made sure that our wedding "vision" was carried out to the fullest. On the wedding day Nerida was AMAZING, managed all the vendors and the timeline so smoothly that I didn't have to think about a thing. Her assistant Tania was a great MC and even retouched my hair as it kept falling out after all the dancing! They were both incredible, great professionalism while also being super warm and making me feel completely at ease and relaxed. We had a couple of people go rogue during the toasts (two surprise speakers that just got up and gave speeches without warning), and Nerida and Tania handled it perfectly (and the speeches turned out okay too!). Knowing that they were there taking care of things put us at ease and let us enjoy the moment. If you're getting married in PR and looking for a coordinator, stop your search and hire Nerida because she truly is the best. 100% recommend!

Wonderful!

Nerida was recommended by my florist and was a pleasure to work with! She and her assistant, Michelle, were very organized, courteous, and professional. This year has been quite busy with weddings with all of the postponed weddings and the newly engaged couples for 2021, but Nerida and her team stayed on top of everything. They utilize user friendly software to help manage the intricate details of weddings and make communicating effortless and organized. They helped me when I had difficulty contacting vendors I had hired, but had a tough time reaching back out to, gave great suggestions when I had questions, and reassured me that I was right where I needed to be as far as planning was going when I was worried I was missing something. I hired her as a "partial" coordinator because by the time I realized it would benefit me to have someone the day of I had already booked most of my vendors myself, but she would have been great to have from the beginning to help save some time scouting vendors myself. She was very flexible with my needs and budget. She did a great job contacting everyone and it was so nice having help with the day of timeline.

The best destination wedding planner!

I'm so glad I hired Nérida to plan my wedding! She is very professional, diligent, and gets things done. I was supposed to get married in April 2020 but had to cancel the wedding a month before because of the pandemic. She diligently worked with all the vendors to change my wedding to August 2020 (because we thought the pandemic was going to be over in less than 5 months), she found new vendors because not all the ones I had hired before were available, and she was able to have everything ready in less than 2 days! When August 2020 was getting close and we realize the pandemic was not going to be over any time soon, I decided to change the wedding to August 2021 and once again she was able to coordinate with all the vendors to have the wedding of my dreams. She did all of this with us living in the US.

Not only was she was great during the planning, but she was also great the day of the wedding. She made sure that everything was in order and that all of our requests with the vendors were done. Everyone in my family loved her work and of course, we did as well! If you are wanting to plan a wedding in Puerto Rico, I wouldn't hesitate to hire her. You won't be disappointed!

We hired the best wedding coordinator!

Nérida is excellent, responsible, professional, diligent and the best in her field. She accompanied us and advised us throughout the process. In my experience, our wedding date was affected three times (due to the pandemic) and Nérida always kept us calm as she resolved very diligently with all the suppliers already hired. The wedding was a success, all the guests felt comfortable and safe at all times. We didn't have to worry about anything at all on the wedding day, as Nérida and her assistant took care of everything. The wedding was a dream. 100% recommended!

Just Amazing!

Nerida is simply amazing! She had to reschedule our wedding 3 times due to COVID and she made it look so easy ( I know it was a lot of work). The best wedding planner in pr!

From the day we met with Nerida she understood our wedding vision and maintained that focus for the year and a half of planning our special day. There was an instant connection with Nerida in our initial meeting and our personalities meshed very well. We walked away from that meeting feeling confident that we would be well taken care of. Nerida's excellent service was beyond our expectations. She took care of absolutely everything and made every step seem seamless. Extremely organized and professional and also made the process very enjoyable. Her assistant even helped me get freshened up since my HMU artist had to leave early. Una Maravillosa sorpresa !

Fue decisión de mi suegra contratar a Nérida por la experiencia de una amiga cercana a ella, la cual se la recomendó, no pude estar 100% en todo el proceso y en todas las decisiones por mis estudios, pero sus recomendaciones del Venue y Vendors se ajustaron a nuestro presupuesto sin disminuir la calidad del servicio, fue una increíble sorpresa el dia de la boda como todo estaba super organizado, no me preocupé por nada, siempre estaba ahí para decirme que hacer y solo tenía que divertirme en el proceso, agradezco infinitamente por hacer el dia de nuestra boda inolvidable, supero inclusive mis expectativas, con todo el corazón Gracias a Nérida y a todo su increíble equipo que hicieron posible este sueño de Boda!

We could not have chosen a better wedding planner!

We started planning our wedding prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, and had to make a lot of changes in order to get married. In the midst of all the uncertainty and stress, Nérida kept us calm. She recommended the best vendors and helped us with every single detail for our wedding. Nérida was always one step ahead of us in the planning process, and solved any problems that came up. She made me feel completely comfortable and confident that everything would go well on our wedding day.

We had plans to get married in July during the COVID pandemic, but had to make significant changes. Nerida helped us remain calm and pivot to a smaller ceremony with loved ones. We put it together in about 3 months and it was a perfect celebration during these weird times. Without a doubt, the Best!

Me and my now husband work crazy hours so we needed someone who would be on point taking care of details and gave us peace of mind, so as soon as we got engaged, mom called some people she knew from the wedding industry asking if they could recommend a wedding coordinator. All 3 said, without hesitation “Nérida Álvarez”.

Those people did not disappoint. Neither did Nérida. To the contrary, she exceeded all my expectations. She was accesible, reliable, knowledgeable and detail oriented. Mind you, COVID changed our wedding plans 3 times; each time only a week before the wedding; so you can imagine the uncertainty. However, Nérida gave us confidence and peace even when everything had a huge question mark.

Having Nérida plan our most special day was God sent. If there was something beyond perfect, beyond incredible, it would be our wedding day. And Nérida made it possible and real.

Having conquered the Bride to Be phase, I’ll just say this: don’t hesitate, contact Nérida and trust her! She knows!
Because the only thing I regret is not being able to give her the biggest hug ever given -because of COVID- with all the gratitud I have for making our wedding day so special.

Worth every penny and more

Organized, professional, reliable, flexible, comunicative, punctual, but out of everything, she seems to love what she does and is fun to work with.

The only thing that I regret about Nérida Álvarez/Festa Coordinación was not hiring her as my wedding planner since the beginning (and for the whole thing).

I was trying to plan a destination wedding by myself (silly me). So I started looking for partial wedding planners to help me with the details I couldn't get done. I emailed/called several planners but she was the only one to make us feel comfortable, did not judge and understood our budget. She was professional in a friendly way and provided exactly what we needed and more.

She made it easy and was so patient (I am sure I was not an easy bride). My hours at work are not consistent; it took time for me to reply to emails quickly but she still ensured we were always comunicating. She is easy to contact and easy to work with. After hiring her, the wedding planning process was stress free. During the rehersal and the wedding, she was on time, full of energy, was on top of everything and was literally prepared for any possible setback. My bride brain forgot the flutes for the toast and the knifes for the cake 45 minutes away from the venue. She left and came back with flutes and knives. We were also brought food from the cocktail when we said we had not tried them since we were taking pictures...just to give a few examples on the little details she focused on.

Thanks to Nérida Álvarez/Festa Coordinación, the wedding ran smoothly and most importantly, we enjoyed every second. We have no words that can express how grateful we are for making it an unforgettable day. And I can assure anyone that hires her, you will not regret it.

Destination Wedding Guru

Nérida is the real deal! She was super easy to speak with while I was planning the wedding from NY in Puerto Rico, very communicative and responsive, and an ultimate pleasure. From her fun personality at our rehearsal through making sure everything ran on time, without any stress to me, she ran our wedding like a symphony. Nérida helped me change into my second dress, unbuttoning like 50 buttons without breaking a sweat. She also helped me some money with her wedding coordinating through verifying my vendor contracts. Her assistant Tania is also super with her MC skills and even assisted the decoration team with all of my little details, such as placing our menus, favors, etc. I wish I could keep marrying my husband so I could hire Festa Coordinación every time. Organized, Detail Oriented, and Thoughtful Coordinator!

If you are looking for a wedding coordinator who is extremely professional, highly organized, and goes above and beyond your expectations, Festa Coordination is for you! Two months ago, my husband and I got married at La Concha after a year and a half engagement. While my husband grew up in Puerto Rico, we both reside in Philadelphia. When we became engaged we knew we would need the help and guidance of a coordinator to assist in planning from far away.

After rigorous instagram hunting, we were drawn to the versatility and style of Nerida's portfolio. From her page, we could tell she planned a wide range of wedding sizes and at many different wedding locations. It became evident in our planning that Nerida is a well-respected coordinator in the field when we would reach out to vendors and they would share their positive experiences working with her. We believe this expertise was absolutely essential in making our wedding planning easier than we could have ever expected!

Leading up to the wedding day, Nerida followed up with our wedding vendors to ensure that the preparations for the day ran smoothly. She called us to check up on logistics and our feelings leading up to the day. I, unfortunately, lost my voice from all the excitement (and partying) the days before our wedding. Nerida and Tania (her assistant coordinator) gave me great suggestions that had me and my husband both ready for the big day. The day of the wedding Nerida and Tania took care of every little detail. They were kind, supportive, and super flexible. Tania even helped me patch my wedding dress back together after I danced too hard on the dance floor! They made it so easy for my husband and I to focus on each other and have an amazing time.

Without Festa Coordination, planning our wedding would have been a completely different experience. Not many people can say that their wedding day was one of the least stressful days of their lives, but my husband and I can gladly say we didn't have one single worry in the world. There are no words to describe how thankful we are for Nerida and Tania's support and friendship! They gave us a priceless gift that we are forever grateful for!

Nerida is amazing!!

Hiring Nerida as our coordinator was one of the best decisions that we made when it came to planning our destination wedding! We live in Texas and planned our wedding entirely without visiting Puerto Rico or meeting our vendors, so you could say it was a bit stressful.

Nerida was a godsend whenever we had bumps in the road and recommended great vendors. She answered any question that we had and was very responsive. We had no idea how our wedding would turn out since we planned it ourselves, but Nerida made sure that all the logistics made sense so things could run smoothly on the day of our wedding.

We couldn't be happier with how she coordinated everything. She knew what we envisioned and a lot of the stress built up while planning disappeared on our wedding day thanks to Nerida and her assistant Tania! If I had to do it again, I definitely chose Festa Coordinacion!

On February 17th, 2018 we had the wedding of our wildess dreams! Exactly a year before, we were in search of a wedding planner that we clicked with, one who understood us and the details we wanted. We met with Nérida and we had exactly this and more! She is soo attentive, modern and professional. Throughout the whole year she answered all my questions, sometimes at odd hours due to my schedule, for which I am extremely thankful. She was HONEST with us on many details which is just how we like it! Our meetings were fun and up to our wedding day we felt like she eased us through every little thing. It was a tremendous adventure to plan a wedding while being far away from the location and definitely Nérida helped us to make this challenge an unforgettable experience. The services of Festa Coordination were recommended to me by very special people, and indeed the day of my life was the most special of all. Later on, when I got engaged, I was sure about two things: (1) the wedding venue and (2) that Nérida was going to be my wedding planner. Looking back now, we were so fortunate to have Neri as our wedding coordinator. She helped us put together the best vendor team. Her suggestions were right on point! Her ideas, knowledge, and experience are invaluable. It is evident that everyone in the wedding industry knows Nérida and respect the work she does. Nérida worked with us on every single detail... She even planned a Spa Day with other brides and recommended a great place to help my skin and complexion look fabulous for the big day. To say the least, our wedding turned out to be my favorite day ever. Nérida made this possible and we never had a doubt in our minds that she was guiding us all the way to success. I knew from the start that I needed a wedding planner. Although I'm extremly organized and failry good at planning, a wedding is on another level. Nerida had all the expertise, knowledge and insights I needed. From the beggining she understood what we wanted and always worked to achieve that. She recommended excellent vendors. On our wedding day everything was flawless. If there were was anything that wasn't right, she did such a good job that I didn't notice it. She was amazing amazing with me, my husband, my family, everyone. I have to say, hiring her was one of the best decisions in the whole wedding process. Without her, I think this wedding would be a whole different story. I wouldn't hesitate for a second recommending her to any bride who wants a flawless wedding. I went to a friends wedding and I loved everything about it. Soon my time came to get married and I asked my friend to please provide me with her list of vendors. She told me I HAD to hire Nerida as my wedding coordinator and Miriam Dobano as my decorator and boy was I glad I did!! A wedding is a very complicated production, but Nerida made it very simple and enjoyable for me. Every time I would get stressed she would tell me to relax and she took over!

My wedding was absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed every single moment!! Nerida coordinated the photographer, videographer, decoration, cake, venue, transportation, music, rehearsal dinner, my indecisions and she even had an emergency kit to fix my hair at the wedding!! ;-) Everything!! She was always available answering calls and messages. During the event she was always looking out for me and my husband making sure everything was perfect.
She guided me every step of the way!!

Miriam was wonderful too!!! I had the most beautiful wedding!! She gave me choices but also provided her opinions and experience that made the process much easier. Her confidence gave me confidence. There was never a no from Miriam! The day before my wedding I wanted to do something to include my grandmother that had passed away a year before. Miriam told me were to get a locket for a picture with my grandmother and made it part of my ?? bouquet! I had the most beautiful bouquet!!! All the flowers and decoration were amazing!!

Thank you Nerida and Miriam!!! If I had to do my wedding all over again I would do it exactly the same with you!!! I recommend them 1,000% !!! Thank you!!!! ?????????????????????

If I hadn't to use one word to describe my wedding it would be: perfect and that is thanks to Nerida!

I live in Florida and my wedding was in Puerto Rico. Initially my mom wanted to do the planning herself but it quickly became clear that that would be too overwhelming for her and for me (oh my gosh we fought so much!). I went on here and found Nerida and after reading some reviews called her and oh my gosh I'm so glad I did! Several times during the process I hear my mom say I'm so glad we hired her, I never would have thought to do that. Even my dad was in awe of her work!

She got my vision, she listened, she was attentive, responsive, she set me up with the BEST vendors, she constantly checked to make sure I was happy with the way things were going, she helped me book a room block, she helped me with every single thing I needed for the wedding. I don't have a single complaint. When the moms got to stressful she would even intervene and get them off my back.

The day of the wedding went off without a hitch, I am super neurotic and controlling and I felt completely comfortable with Nerida, I felt like everything was under control and that I didn't need to worry about a thing. It truly was my dream wedding and I am so thankful to her for making it possible.

If you're looking to hire a great planner look no further, Nerida is THE best. If I were to do it again, I would hire her without hesitation.

We are a couple from NY who decided in a destination wedding in Wyndham Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, on May 21, 2016. Our first worry was the communication, but Nerida was just perfect and excellent. I would get emails with answers in just minutes, during the wedding day she made absolutely sure that we were worry free! I added a lot of my own little details for the wedding that i brought with me from NY and she was flexible and help me with everything. Many brides think that planning a wedding can be simple. IT IS NOT. When I hired Nérida, owner of Festa Coordinacion, I had spoken to her on the phone briefly, but there was a click. Nérida is a professional, in the way she expresses herself, in the way she executes her work and in the way which she communicates. She is extremely responsive, patient and she goes above and beyond to make everything turn out good. One great thing about her is that she has extremely good suggestions. He taste is amazing, so you can completely trust that if she recommends something/someone it will be because it is good and tasteful.

Nérida is extremely organized and made my wedding day flow so smooth it was incredible. Just when I thought about something....I asked her and she had already taken care of it.
The day of the wedding (two days actually, cause ceremony and reception were different days), she knew how to address the guests and help everything work perfect. It is so strange to receive emails, texts and calls from guests after the wedding, were you hear people saying: "your wedding coordinator was so nice", "your wedding coordinator was on top of everything". And it is true, Nérida is an amazing person and an amazing professional. She took the time to greet guests and to make sure everybody was OK.

Thanks Nérida for helping me have the wedding of my dreams. My "destination wedding" was simply perfect.

I would recommend her a million times!!!!

I had my wedding almost a month ago and I could not have had a better experience with Nérida! She was truly everything my husband and I expected from the beginning. The communication was always great, she arrived on time for every meeting (wich is very rare in PR), and she was super organized and did not missed a detail. Three weeks before the wedding our photographer cancelled and when I told her she immediately recommended one and contacted him, in 2 days we were signing contract with the new photographer (she always made sure we had nothing to stress about). At the wedding day everything flowed incredibly, the rundown went exactly as originally agreed and she was super sweet with every one of our guest (my mom loved her kindness and professionalism, as we did too). Totally recommend her!!!!

I would recommend Nerida to any bride that wants her wedding to be a beautiful, chic and stress free night. I live in San Diego, California with my now husband, who is from Caguas, Puerto Rico. Since the day we got engaged I knew that he'd want the wedding to be at his beloved island. Since we've lived in the states for 4 years now, we had no clue of wedding planners in Puerto Rico at the moment, so I became a member of Wedding Wire.

Nerida had a great profile, with good reviews and the pictures of the weddings she had coordinated looked like everything I'd want. From the first phone call, I knew she'd be my go to person. She's very professional yet down to earth.. I felt like I've known her for years.

Everything went very smoothly on the big day. She did a very good job with the budget and had control of every little detail. Even my mom, who doesn't trust ANYONE, felt calm and peace leaving everything in Nerida's hands. We all had a great time and she and I even stay in contact to this day.

To preface this review, we live in Dallas TX but got Married in Isla Verde PR, so ALL of our pre-wedding week communication was done remotely. Knowing all communication and decision making was going to be remote, we weren't sure how to set our expectations in general. As we were interviewing multiple Coordinators for Week-of services, Nerida was referred to us with very high regards. All of the communication during the entire process was prompt and professional starting with our initial interactions.

We met with Nerida in person 3 days before the wedding to finalize some of the outstanding items and go through all of the plans. Any, and all, anxieties we had leading up to that moment were completely gone after the meeting. Nerida took complete control of everything from that point forward. Once everything started on the Wedding day we were both on Cloud 9. We literally had zero worries in the world and were able to fully live in the moment. A lot of other married couples told us to just expect something to go wrong so you don't stress out about it, but nothing did and it was more than perfect!!

We've been married for 3.5 weeks at this point and cannot stop talking about how lasting these memories will be, and we truly believe it would have never happened if Nerida wasn't at the center of it all.

Nérida provided us with Day-Of Coordination for our wedding. We are so glad we hired her - she was fantastic and I can't imagine how it would have gone without her. You DO need a wedding planner! Nérida helped me from the day I selected my wedding date, or even before, I think. She helped me with everything from the appropriate wording to use for my invitations, wedding etiquette, selection of vendors, and planning my ceremony and reception. My wedding day was perfect because Nérida was there to take care of it. She was always available for me on the phone, by text or email and her fees were very reasonable. She is simply amazing, beautiful and funny! Finally, on the night of our ceremony rehearsal, she arrived with the most beautiful flower bouquet for me, which I thought was a beautiful detail. Wedding 2022

She was excellent. We worked with her for over a year regarding all the planning, and she was able to find the best vendors according to our needs and budget. She was very open with her communication, very responsive to questions and changes, and she was very attentive to all the details of our wedding. There were some chaotic times during the whole thing, but that’s to be expected when you have so many moving parts and details. She was able to get us past any issue that came up, and worked everything to completion to give us the best experience we could hope for. It was a very memorable day for us and I would definitely recommend her as your wedding planner, and we will definitely consider her for any other events we have in the future.

PERFECT wedding day thanks to FESTA!!

Nerida is the main coordinator and owner of “Festa Cordinación”. We met her at a wedding expo in “Plaza Las Americas” a little over a year before our wedding. We had nothing regarding official engagement, or wedding date, or venue. After interviewing several other coordinators, we decided to pick Nerida because she gave us her thoughts regarding the pros and cons of all the doubts we had on our first meeting. Her personality and opinions reflect a certain elegance that we wanted to maintain and share in our wedding day. Besides, we then saw that many of her weddings are in PR magazines and they seemed beautiful which confirmed our perception of her good taste and high quality.
When you write to Nerida and/or meet her; she will offer you a full or partial coordination package. They are both at a great price compared to many other coordinators. The selection of what is most convenient for you will depend on your time availability to dedicate to your own wedding and your OCD with the topic as well. Just talk to her and get to an agreement that is best suited for you and your partner.

She has done weddings all around the island but most of her high-quality recommendations will be near the metropolitan area. She wil give you advise on quality, profesionalism of vendor, time management, flexibility, and more. When you have a budget, you definetly want to make sure you are well advised on where your money goes and she will give you orientation on what to expect. Take into consideration that vendors may charge extra value f you change the location of your wedding drastically and was not contemplated from the start. For example, initially, we thought of getting married in San Juan by Jan 2020 but later changed to Ponce by November 2019. Obviously this has logistic consideration changes which we were ok with.

Our package included recommendations of vendors, follow up on contracts and services, confirmation with all guests, wedding rehearsal, wedding agenda, confirmation with all vendors, an assistant, and more. She was the “master of ceremony” at our wedding and she did great. But again, I recommend you to have a conversation in the contract phase to see what is best suited for you what are your expectations. We had a small wedding of 100 people and everyone had a great time. (Yes I say small because Nerida has coordinated massive events with great taste. She may tell you all about them.)

On our wedding day, everyone had a great time. Nerida and her assistant were both very attentive to us and our guests. They made sure everything and everyone were on time and in order. We had a lot of compliments during and after our wedding day. I’ll never forget she cried with me of happiness and emotion when I was with my father on the church before coming down the aisle. It was a very special moment.

Therefore, yes. I do recommend Nerida Alvarez; you’ll have a great day, great memories and you won't regret it.
