We had our wedding at the Ferncroft Country Club on 10/25 and it was truly the best day ever! Everything was truly perfect! Heather and Elisa were amazing to work with!! From our initial meeting with Heather, we knew this was the place to host our wedding. Throughout the process, Heather was so accommodating and responsive. We had a few changes throughout the process but everything ended up working out and Heather and Elisa worked with us throughout the entire process. Elisa was very responsive and made things move smoothly for us. She was amazing to work with, especially on the day of. The food was amazing, the staff were so accommodating and everything was truly perfect. I would recommend the Ferncroft Country Club for anyone planning an event/wedding in the future!

We are so glad that we chose to celebrate our wedding at the Ferncroft Country Club. From our first contact with Heather when we initially reached out to schedule a tour, she put us at ease and set Ferncroft apart from anywhere else.

When we got closer to our wedding date, Elisa seamlessly transitioned into being our point of contact and was always available for questions throughout our planning process. She took our vision and made it a reality, making the physical space appear even better than we imagined. She even stayed until the very end of our after party on the wedding night to make sure everything went perfectly!

Because of the whole team— wonderful servers, bartenders, chefs, in addition to our coordinators, we had so much fun at our wedding! Our guests continue to rave about the venue and the food. To top it off, the spaces both indoor and outdoor were beautiful. We would recommend Ferncroft to anyone without reservation.

Our wedding day was perfect! Elisa and the rest of the team was wonderful. They were helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. We had several allergies and dietary restrictions that were managed perfect. They may the day so seamless. We could not have asked for a better day. I would recommend Ferncroft to anyone!

I hosted my baby shower here in March 2024. From start to finish all the staff was extremely great to work with. They were communicative, responsive, and super helpful the entire planning process. The event went off without a hitch, and the staff that day went above and beyond to accommodate and make sure everything was complete how we wanted. I would definitely host another event at this venue. Highly recommend.

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Ferncroft Country Club and it was absolutely spectacular, from the Event Manager to the food to the service provided, everything was magnificent!!! They were a united force and our event went off without a hitch. We would absolutely return and plan future events here. Thank you!!!

We had our wedding reception at the Ferncroft in August 2023. After touring several venues (from upscale hotels with Boston city skyline views to waterfront estates), we ultimately decided on the Ferncroft for a variety of reasons. The grounds are beautifully manicured, staff members are incredibly friendly, and clubhouse has an upscale feel minus the stuffy, “snobby” atmosphere experienced at similar establishments.

For cocktail hour, you can utilize either their rooftop deck or Jones room. We decided on the Jones room which provided a beautiful, air-conditioned indoor space leading out to a large outdoor deck. This gave us the best of both worlds offering our guests both indoor and outdoor spaces. Don’t get me wrong though. That roof deck is breathtaking too!

My now husband and I felt a level of airiness and comfort at the Ferncroft that we did not experience elsewhere. We invited 190 guests and ended up with 160 which was perfect. The ballroom is very spacious and could have easily accommodated over 200! There are doors off the ballroom leading to a large wrap around porch overlooking the greens as well. When touring other venues, it became clear that many advertise an ability to “accommodate" way more guests than most would consider “comfortable.” I’m not sure what their definitions of comfort were but they differed from ours! The Ferncroft had plenty of open space to mix and mingle.

The packages were very reasonable which allowed us to add an open bar and spend a bit more on vendors. Our guests are still raving about the food. Many couples worry about wedding food being subpar given the sheer quantity served at the same time. We had the same concerns but this was NOT the case at the Ferncroft! The filets & chicken were cooked to perfection (nothing was dried out). Passed hor d’oeuvres, salads, sides, and dessert were all phenomenal. The food far exceeded our expectations right down to the late night pizza which was included in the package we chose.

I genuinely cannot say enough about our event manager, Elisa. She was an absolute pleasure to work with every step of the way. Elisa was incredibly professional, informative, organized, and friendly. She responded to all of our inquiries in a timely manner, maintained flawless communication with our vendors, and was so kind to us. My mother fractured her leg a few months prior to our wedding landing her in a wheelchair for weeks. Elisa graciously included her in everything leading up to the event as we toured, tasted, and viewed the space (more than once!) to visualize décor. We wheeled mom through the Club without feeling uncomfortable or burdensome. That may seem trivial (and I realize that establishments are legally obligated to make spaces accessible) but the patience, upbeat spirit, and warmth exhibited by the Ferncroft’s staff in accommodating mom made all the difference in the world to us.

Alli K. was an absolutely gem as well. She assisted Elisa leading up to our event, worked diligently behind the scenes to facilitate details, and was a comforting presence the day-of. Alli is an organized, personable, caring professional. She went above and beyond to ensure that all of our questions were answered, things ran smoothly, and our experience was a positive one. The entire staff was incredible right “down” to the bartender Sue who was friendly, funny yet professional, and exceptionally kind. She went out of her to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Sue personally introduced herself to us in the parking lot as we were leaving the grounds one day. She took the time to ask us when our event was, what our favorite drinks were, if we wanted to include a signature drink (gave us recommendations), etc. Sue is a true asset to the Ferncroft staff.

Logistically speaking, there is a DoubleTree Hotel only 1-mile away from the club. It was less than a 5-minute shuttle ride from the Ferncroft. The hotel was clean, reasonably priced, and has a ton of bar space for an after party. We had a church ceremony and booked a room block there. By coordinating times, using a nearby church, offering convenient accommodations, and providing a shuttle, our wedding wasn’t one of those drawn out, all-day long affairs. You know the suburban ones requiring lengthy drives with hours spent killing time at random bars in between ceremonies and receptions? If you want to have your ceremony off site and have guests coming from out of town, it is totally doable.

If you are debating whether or not to book your wedding at the Ferncroft Country Club, here is my advice to you: just do it! I am a tough critic with perfectionistic tendencies and this place quite literally exceeded all of our expectations. The Ferncroft Country Club offers an elegant yet comfortable and spacious venue. It's finally manicured grounds, gorgeous flowers, deck spaces, and luscious greens offer a perfect backdrop. Tack on exceptional cuisine, an affordable price point that doesn’t require sacrificing quality, and a 5-star staff. The Ferncroft hosted a wedding reception that was everything we dreamed of and so much more!

We recently had my daughters Bridal Shower at FCC. Eliza and staff were so amazing and accommodating especially when we needed to change from rooftop due to inclement weather.
Everyone was so welcoming and the food and drinks were so delicious. Shout out to Victoria who made the best cocktails and Diego at the omelet station. The staff are the best to make your Special occasion stress free!!

I hosted my son and future daughter in law’s engagement party at Ferncroft. Everything was fabulous. The food was amazing. The room was beautiful and the staff was excellent. Would highly recommend having an event at Ferncroft Country Club!

I recently held a bridal shower for my daughter at Ferncroft Country Club, and worked with Elisa Turilli as the event coordinator. I can’t say enough good things about choosing Ferncroft as the venue for my event. The beautiful setting and impeccable service truly can’t be beat! From start to finish, Elisa did not miss a detail. She was knowledgeable and answered questions promptly and efficiently. She was incredibly organized and responsive, accommodating every request I had including my need to make a last minute change in the date of the event. Elisa worked tirelessly to manipulate her schedule in order to make it work for us. On the day of the event, Elisa oversaw every detail to be sure the day was perfect! I would highly recommend choosing Ferncroft for anyone planning a special event.

Many venues provide a beautiful setting with great food but what sets Ferncroft apart is Elisa, the in house event coordinator. She thought of every detail, worked with our vendors and when any challenge came up she partnered with me to find a solution. The day was seamless and beautiful.

We have had our daughter’s bridal shower, our son’s wedding, a rehearsal dinner, a 50th birthday party, and now this past weekend, we had our daughter’s baby shower – all in the beautiful Jones Room at the Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton.

We cannot say enough about these functions. The servers and staff work tirelessly to make our events the experiences of our dreams. Our event coordinator Elisa was phenomenal! Everyone is so professional, and we have been so proud to have our guests treated so wonderfully, and to have the menus and special options be out of this world.

We will not hesitate to hold future events at the Ferncroft Country Club. We have never had to worry about a single detail!

The Ferncroft Country Club was a wonderful place to host the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. Such a beautiful location and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Elisa was also quick to respond with any question that I had beforehand and the event went so smoothly. The food was great, too! Would definitely recommend!

Elisa helped me plan a Rehearsal Dinner from long distance (NC) and I could not have made a better choice. Had my daughter's bridal shower there. The venue was beautiful, staff could not help enough. Elisa always got back to me and was there to answer any questions I had. We did a brunch with omelet station & mimosa bar. Everything was wonderful. We had peanut allergies & gluten free guests and they were very accommodating with both issues. The food was delicious. Our guests raved about the food & service. No one was booked the night before our event so they let us go in and drop stuff off and set up a little. I could not have asked for better and if I ever need another venue - I would definitely use them again.

I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. We had our wedding of 60 people here on 11/7/21 and I couldn’t be happier. The wait staff were kind, attentive, and professional; the food was AMAZING, and the grounds are so beautiful it was the perfect fall backdrop for a lovely day. Elisa, the venue’s event coordinator, was a dream to work with and was so responsive, accommodating, and patient throughout the entire planning process (which, in a pandemic, has its challenges). She then truly went above and beyond with all the details of our day. Elisa not only executed our vision to perfection, but exceeded all expectations I could have had. Her experience in event planning is evident, as this day could not have gone any smoother or felt any easier. Our guests have continued to reach out and comment on what an incredible job this place did…..You will not find a more delicious, beautiful, flexible, affordable, and easy to work with venue on the north shore!

Getting married at the Ferncroft Country Club was the best decision we made for our wedding! The day of the wedding could not have gone more perfect. The staff at the Ferncroft went above and beyond what I could have expected. They were incredibly kind, attentive and professional with all of our guests.


Our coordinators, Donna & Lisa were amazing to work with and were there every step of the way. Throughout the process they were extremely responsive in answering all of my questions and addressing any concerns I had. On the day of the wedding, they set up the room exactly as I had envisioned and the venue looked beautiful. They were also great at coordinating with all of our vendors and everything went smoothly, making me a stress free bride on my wedding day.

As for the food, I cannot stress enough at how incredible everything was. We got the salmon and filet. Guests could not stop raving about how delicious the food was and many told us that this was the best filet they had ever had!

I would highly recommend the Ferncroft County Club for your wedding! Thank you Ferncroft for making our wedding day absolutely perfect - we are forever grateful.

The Ferncroft was a beautiful setting for our out of town wedding. But the real star of the venue is Donna. Donna played planner, designer, coordinator, and the kindest friend through the entire process. She made sure every detail was handled from the first, incredibly detailed inquiry email to the follow up email with a special picture of my daughter and nephew. Our guests had, and still have, glowing reviews of her staff, the room set up, the outrageously good food, and ceremony and reception flow, and especially the kindness she showed to EVERY guest. Donna and her staff were accommodating, flexible, and generous were their time and expertise. There were plenty of beautiful locations for photos and the ceremony. Every single detail was perfectly mastered. The entire staff looked calm and relaxed. There was never a moment of panic or rushing. Donna seemed to be in every place, at every moment. My husband and I snuck away immediately after the ceremony to share a plate of hors d’oeuvres in the grooms suite (I can’t recommend this enough. Do this! Take 5 minutes to sit in the quiet and relax together.) At one point during outdoor pictures I commented to my daughter, “I didn’t eat enough.” BAM! Food. Hors d’oeuvres on a plate, with Donna holding a napkin. She took care of everything! Everything was perfect! Thank you so much for putting together a magical experience!

I had my daughters bridal shower at Ferncroft Country Club on June 8th, 2019. They by far exceeded my expectations. The venue was beautiful, the food was amazing, The wait staff was very attentive and anytime along the planning process Lisa or Donna would respond to my emails immediately. They reassured me that everything would be perfect and it was. We had a beautiful day. Everything went smoothly and all my guests raved about absolutely everything. I would highly recommend Ferncroft Country Club.

Amesbury High School seniors used the country club's rooftop deck for appetizers and the ballroom for a plated dinner followed by dancing. It was a terrific night! The views were pretty, and everything was clean at the facility. The food was delicious, and the staff helped us play photos and then the Bruins game on the projector screen while the students were dancing to the DJ's music! All of the servers were kind and helpful.

Best decision we made was to have the reception at the Ferncroft. Donna and Lisa were wonderful from start to finish - very responsive and patient with us. The size and design of the rooms were great for our winter reception for 120 - the windows and fireplaces in each room gave the atmosphere a warm feeling, and the uplighting made it festive. We didn't have much to decorate with but when I showed up with a bucket of 50 extra roses (we bought them online in bulk to make the bridesmaid bouquets) Lisa transformed the room with them in 15 minutes, and made an otherwise non-descript wedding cake look magnificent circled by roses. The private food tasting prior to the event was great. Note - we went with filet mignon which tasted amazing, everyone is still complimenting it and one guest asked months later where they got their meat from. I'd recommend the Ferncroft to anyone. The one thing to clarify though - we were concerned with storms and were initially told that if folks didn't arrive due to last minute storm, etc that we couldn't be reimbursed for them but we could take their uneaten food home (esp as we paid for it). As our luck had it, we did have a storm on our wedding weekend which forced some folks to cancel -- we assumed we'd get all of the uneaten food to go but we didn't. That's the only thing that went wrong. Everything else was absolutely wonderful and I'd recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely luncheon in the Jones Room. From the beginning planning stages to the actual event, their team was incredibly helpful and eager to meet all our needs. They created an inventive menu, wonderful seating plan and were flexible, hospitable and welcoming at every turn. We host many events and I look forward to having another one at Ferncroft Country Club soon.

Lisa and her staff are exceptionally helpful, professional, flexible and responsive … they did everything they could to accommodate the plan we had for our corporate event. We've used them in the past, as well as this year, and certainly will in the future.

Our company had their holiday dinner at Ferncroft country club for the fifth year. Each year it Is a wonderful and successful holiday dinner that our employees look forward to each year. Lisa Leary Who is the event coordinator was very meticulous and organized with every detail of the process. From coming up with unique ideas for the menu with the chef and making sure that the people with allergies were carefully accommodated to designing the look for our holiday dinner. It is Always say fantastic experience.

We recently hosted our daughter's baby shower at The Ferncroft Country Club. It was perfect in every aspect. Both Donna Andrews , the event sales specialist , and Lisa Leary , the event coordinator, were extremely helpful with their recommendations and organization of the venue. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The mimosa station and hot fudge sundae bar were a big hit! We also opted for an open bar because it was a luncheon and many of the ladies prefer a glass of wine or cocktail in the afternoon. The event was held in the Scott Room which is beautiful and spacious. We had approximately 45 people . I also want to mention the wait staff....great! All of this adds up to a stress free enjoyable shower! Thank you Ferncroft!! GailC.

Donna and Lisa were so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire bridal shower process! They made my job as mother of the bride so much easier and stress-free. The shower turned out beautifully and we received so many compliments on how gorgeous the space was. I couldn't have pulled together such a great day for my daughter without them!

We had the greatest wedding at the Ferncroft Country Club. The great rooftop started the day off wonderful. Gorgeous views and atmosphere up there. The reception and overall experience was beyond fantastic. Lisa Leary was the kindest, most pleasant person to deal with. There are not enough words to explain how helpful, courteous, and pleasant she was. A+ for the Ferncroft!

Perfect venue, awesome food, beautiful, and could not have had a better day. Lisa is a dream to work with, and she has helped me with everything throughout the way and helped me plan a dream wedding. The venue looked amazing the day of, ceremony in the Jones Room, and reception in the Robert-Scott was perfect. Beautiful space that was transformed to this rustic paradise. Everyone raved about the food, it was absolutely delicious. Donna is awesome as well, she helped carry my veil the day off, before the ceremony, and that personalized attention was wonderful to have. Lisa accommodated everything, and I could not thank her enough for such a wonderful day. Highly recommend this venue, Juan and I had the most perfect wedding day here. Best decision ever!!!!

Having planned and run events all over the US and Caribbean, I am a harsh critic. I have come to expect excellence and am usually underwhelmed. NOT the case with Ferncroft Country Club. They are true professionals who have clearly know how to execute a client's wish list for the perfect event. No request was too big or too small. Their make it happen attitude is apparent from day one. Everyone from the Events Manager to the day of staff, all top notch, 5-star in all aspects from execution to service. And what can you say about the views - WOW. It was my pleasure to work with them and plan to host many future events at this supreme location. Anyone looking to host a wedding, shower of any kind, party of any concept, or any corporate event - they have a room that suits your every wish, dream and desire. For this particular event, we hosted a baby shower. Perfect venue, perfect room. Clearly, I am a very happy client.

Ferncroft was very accommodating! They went above and beyond to make sure everything went well. My husband and I could not be happier with our event and the service we were provided by the staff here! This venue is beautiful and the rooftop that we chose was just perfect! Ferncroft helped make my wedding a night all my guests will never forget. the staff and food were all incredible. I worked with Kim, Alex and Julie and each one helped execute the best day of my life. It was better than I could have ever imagined. The food was incredible and my pictures came out amazing on the golf course! So beyond happy with everything!!

I am beyond excited to have my wedding at the Ferncroft Country Club. Their prices are amazing for the value they give. Working with Alex was a breeze. She is very friendly, easy to talk to and seems to have a lot of experience. Although the roof-top deck is not done yet, we were able to take a tour of the club house (private to club members only) to see the views. One thing that really stood out to me is how accommodating they are for food allergies (which is important for my family). I can't wait to spend the happiest day of my life at the Ferncroft!

The best decision I made when I planned my wedding was to have it at Ferncroft Country Club. I did extensive research on venues because we had a budget set and did not want to go over that. We kept our wedding intimate at less than 100 people. Kimberly was easygoing, friendly, and stress-free during a big moment in our lives. She answered all my questions in a timely manner (less than 24 hours). The chef we met personally and he made the best swordfish and steak! The venue itself is beautiful - the golf course and the gazebo were perfect for bridal party pictures. We held our ceremony outside on the deck and the reception took place in the Jones Room. I have already suggested Ferncroft to my friends and would to anyone else because it’s a wonderful place to have a wedding!

Ferncroft Country Club and their staff did an amazing job planning our wedding. Kim and her team were very resourceful and accommodating to our requests. We were not local to the area and she had a list of vendors ready and literally made the vision we had for our wedding come true. Everything from the linen rentals, to the tent rental, to coordinating with vendors was taken care of by the staff of Ferncroft. Pricing is reasonable for the professional service that our guests and we experienced. On our wedding day I was at ease and that’s all a bride can ask for on her wedding day. NOT one detail was missed by the staff of Ferncroft. We highly suggest going through Ferncroft Country Club. Thanks again to the staff of Ferncroft for making our BIG day stress less, memorable and most of all enjoyable.

We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner recently at the Ferncroft; it was a lovely event! Elisa was a pleasure to work with in planning and the staff who worked with us on the night of our event were a delight!

I recently hosted my daughter’s bridal shower at TheFerncroft Country Club in the Jones room which is the room on the left as you first enter the building. It is actually 2 rooms together with a partition between if you had a smaller event. The space was perfect for us! There is a deck all along the front side of the room which you can access from French doors all along the wall. Fortunately for us the weather was just beautiful and we were able to enjoy this great outdoor space as well to spill out onto and take some outdoor photos. My initial contact was with Heather who provided details of what the venue had to offer, booking the event and handling the contract. After I booked the venue, all of my communication was with Elisa the event coordinator and she was fantastic!! She was extremely responsive via email (or when requested through a phone call or in person meeting) and was patient and kind with all of my questions, requests and indecisiveness. There are set menus to choose from, but they are also very accommodating to customize or mix and match. The food was very good and all of my guests were impressed and happy! The day went smoothly and my daughter loved it! I would not hesitate to recommend the Ferncroft to any of my friends…they were great!

Amazing staff! They were so helpful and flexible. Drinks were expensive but that was the only downside!

The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce regularly uses The Ferncroft County Club for signature events such as Golf Tournaments, Summer Shin-Digs, Annual Dinners and Holiday Parties. The venue is lovely and events run smoothly because of the high level of professionalism of the staff. They have also hosted breakfast and lunch networking meetings for us. The food is always wonderful!

The Ferncroft helped to provide everything we wanted for our special day! The venue was perfect for us because of the beautiful options for the ceremony and cocktail hour to take place either indoors or outdoors. The food was absolutely delicious! The staff, especially Donna and Lisa, were there to make sure everything went off without a hitch! We couldn’t be happier!

We fell in love with the Jones room, but had to wait to book it and lost the reservation for the time we wanted. The Ferncroft was building a new addition and show us some renderings of the finished room. It looked nice but I was worried about how the finished room would look and if it would be completed in time. After not finding anything else we liked as much we booked the room and waited. The tasting was great and the menu was flexible so that we were able to get much of what we wanted in our limited budget. I was not only relieved, but very happy with the way the room looked when it was completed, in time for our wedding. I believe we were the 3rd reception in the room. The day was bright and sunny, the room looked great with all the flowers and we were able to enjoy the deck overlooking the golf course. We got many complements on how good the food was.
