  elevated ceremony experience

  My husband and I hired Fenway strings after seeing them live at a Taylor Swift tribute through Fever. They are extremely talented and hardworking. My husband worked with Gavon as a contact person, and he was responsive and easy to talk to. All our guests complimented the strings and said how elegant they were. They have a large selection of songs to choose from, both modern and classic.

  Beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour music

  Fenway String Quartet was fantastic! They played all of the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We loved their extensive library of songs. It was a unique way to have some of our all time favorite songs be part of our wedding day.

  Absolutely wonderful!

  Everything the played--from Bach to "Louie, Louie" was spectacular. The guests loved them, and they were a perfect choice for our daughter's wedding. And they were super easy to work with. If you're in New England, you couldn't do better.

  Highly recommend choosing a stringed ensemble for your wedding!

  For my wedding and dinner reception I had a trio, which was one cello and two violins. They were outstanding! Cherry on top for my wedding! Everyone commented on how wonderful they were. Thank you so much for making my special day all the more memorable.

  They were the best part of our ceremony

  The Fenway Quartet have an impressive reprertoire: we chose Debussy and Bach for the ceremony and mixed in some jazz and pop for the cocktail hour. They were timely and professional but above all top notch musicians whose interpretations added a beautiful solemnity and beauty to our ceremony.

  Excellent—highly recommend!

  Highly recommend this band for your wedding or any event. I was a pretty last-minute bride and they worked with me to give exactly the music/vibe that I wanted at my ceremony. Our guests are still talking about how excellent they were!

  Wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour accompaniment

  We hired Fenway Quartet for our daughter’s wedding at the Lyman Estate in Waltham. We asked them to play classical selections for the pre-ceremony and processional and pop music for the recessional and cocktail hour following.
  
  They happily agreed to play a classical processional that was not on their play list and it was beautiful! The guests really got a kick out of them playing tunes by Lady Gaga and such during the cocktail hour!
  
  Ross was great with communications in the weeks and months leading to the wedding, the musicians arrived on time, looked professional, and sounded wonderful! There’s nothing like live music, worth every penny and it’s great value and fantastic feature for the event!

  The Quartet brought Life to our Ceremony

  Having the Quartet playing to our wedding ceremony was the most beautiful thing we had. this brought so much life and love to our ceremony. The songs we pick up was played amazing. Thank you for the incredilbe performance at our wedding ceremony.

  These guys were amazing! They had a really big list of songs that they could play, including a lot of modern hits which is what I was going for, and they pretty much let me pick as many songs as I wanted them to play. They showed up on time and nailed every song they played, including the song that I had requested they learn. Wish I had another big event coming up so I could hire them again!

  The Fenway Quartet was the perfect addition to our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception! Ross and team were great to work with and super helpful in making recommendations for prelude, processional, and recessional music for the ceremony in our formal Church setting and then switching gears and playing and mix of pop and classical for our cocktail reception. They elevated the ceremony and cocktail hour to the next level and we received so many compliments on how fantastic they were. I would highly recommend The Fenway Quartet to anyone looking to make their day extra special!

  We booked the Fenway Quartet for our wedding at the Inn at Hastings Park in Lexington, MA on 7/22/17. Not only did they arrive early to the booking, they were delighting early arriving guests before the contracted start time. They were also delighting hotel guests with their frankly amazing talents. The music throughout the ceremony and the cocktail hour was simply astonishingly wonderful. These musicians are absolutely top-tier, incredibly friendly, and very humble. Every single staff member at the Inn kept asking where we had found them, mentioning that they were the finest musicians that they had heard play at the Inn since they opened in 2013. I promise you that if you book them, you will not only not be disappointed, but you will be completely blown away by them!

  We could not recommend Fenway String Quartet more highly. We hired them to play at our wedding ceremony and were delighted with our choice. From the opening prelude to the recessional, FSQ was absolutely perfect. Music was really important to us for our ceremony, and we could not have felt better or more confident about selecting FSQ. Working with their manager, Ross, was so easy -- he was always wiling to hop on a call or respond to an email if we had questions. The quartet's extensive setlist allowed us to incorporate some of our favorite modern tunes ("Married Life" from the movie "Up," for example, and Clean Bandit's "Rather Be" for our recessional) as well as more traditional classical pieces (I don't think I've heard a lovelier live version of "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring" or Pachelbel's Canon!) into our Catholic ceremony. Their mastery and flexibility made our wedding ceremony feel really magical and personal. We loved it!

  It was very easy to work with the Fenway String Quartet before our wedding day. Their manager helped us choose appropriate music for the processional/recessional and assured us that they'd play a variety of elegant classical music as people were filtering into the ceremony.
