When planning my wedding, I knew I wanted a bright and colorful wildflower theme! Felthousen’s Florist made my vision come to life! All the arrangements (bouquets, boutonnières, centerpieces, cake flowers, and arch decor) were more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! The guests raved about all the flowers and I couldn’t wait to take them home to keep enjoying them after the wedding!

A perfect summer bouquet
I’ve always wanted sunflowers as my wedding flowers, even though I didn’t have a fall wedding. Felthausen did a phenomenal job creating beautiful summer bouquets that complemented our dresses perfectly. Our consultant was amazing and helped to answer the mother of the bride’s many questions and provide reassurances. They also accommodated our requests even though we ordered flowers only about a month before our wedding. They also were timely and helpful in communications we made regarding changes in what we were ordering. I’d gladly recommend their services to anyone in need of beautiful floral arrangements.

A Rosy September Evening Courtesy of Felthousen Florist ♥️🥀🌹
I spoke to Mark on the phone after showing him a few pictures of bouquets that I had come across and liked. I was absolutely clueless beyond that. I knew the colors I wanted, and that I didn’t want the bouquet to be huge. He took those sparse directions and ran with them. My flowers were GORGEOUS. The exact color scheme I was hoping for, and just generally an absolutely beautiful array. The bright pinks paired beautifully with my bridesmaid’s dresses.
My mother-in-law’s corsage also is worth a shout out because it was spectacular. They used navy blue ribbon to match her dress in the coolest pattern.
All of this wonderful service at an unbelievably reasonable price. Highly recommend!! Will edit post with more pictures as I get them in ♥️🌹

I had a wonderful experience working with Mark from Felthousens! His prices were very reasonable, and options were endless. He knew everything about florals and made the process very easy. He had many pictures and albums and lots of options for centerpieces to rent. He made mock-up centerpieces for me to see before the wedding and took my revision and made changes on the spot. He took wonderful care of my grandmother’s rosary beads that I wanted on my boutique, as well. He responded quickly to emails and was very pleasant to work with. I would recommend Felthousens to anyone.

The flowers were the biggest feature of our wedding design, but we were working on a tight timeline. Mark was prompt and professional in our initial email exchanges and set up a consultation with Clorece. Clorece understood exactly how to turn my inspiration photos into the arrangements we needed for our wedding, within our budget. We purchased bouquets, centerpieces, bud vase arrangements, corsages, and boutonnieres for our wedding day. The team at Felthousen delivered as planned to our venue and worked well with our day-of planner and the event planner at the hotel. The flowers were exactly what we had envisioned. If you want beautiful flowers and an easy experience (not to mention excellent value) go with Mark and his team! I couldn't have been happier with my choice to use Felthousen's; when I met with Mark I could immediately feel the long time experience in the industry shine through and it gave me such comfort. Not only were all the "standard" centerpieces amazing but he was also able to come up with some unique ideas for additional touches that really added a special layer to my venue's décor, i can't say enough about this vendor , just pick them.

We worked with Jess at Felthousen and she was amazing. Neither of us know much about flowers but knew we wanted a winter feel to our wedding. Jess immediately started suggesting flowers that would coordinate with the bridesmaid dresses, the wedding dress and the suits. She showed us photos of each suggestion so we could get an idea of what it would actually look like. She showed us samples if they had it in house at the time of our appointment and really worked with us to help bring our vision to life. With the pandemic they were incredibly flexible and willing to work with us when we had to change our order (more than once). They were friendly, professional and really care about their couples.

My (now husband) has been sending me flowers from felthousens since we first started dating. They are absolutely stunning. When he proposed to me, I set up a meeting with felthousens right away. I met with Ben and it was like he was reading my mind. He knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding. Everyone at Felthousen was so great to work with. We met with them several months prior to the wedding to go over our vision and then met up with them 2 weeks before to see a sample centerpiece. Choosing the flowers for my wedding was one of the hardest things for me. I knew the colors I wanted and the names of some flowers but I was pretty lost in what I wanted. When we met with Michaela she put all my stress at ease. I was able to explain to her what I was thinking and my color scheme and she ran with it. When we had our final meeting, she had a centerpiece put together for us and we were in awe. Everything was exactly as I dreamed it would be. The flowers were gorgeous and the colors popped. Family and friends are still talking about our flowers. Working with Michaela was amazing and we could not have picked a better florist. We know use Felthousen for everything.

We had many great vendors but Felthousen's may have been the best choice we made. We had a great meeting with them at their shop and discussed colors and budget. They came in right where we wanted to be price-wise but honestly I expected it to be much higher. We also visited a grocery store florist and they came in more than double we were quoted at Felthousen's. After we booked we decided to do the centerpieces ourselves with flowers provided by Felthousen's and they had no issue with that.
The thing that sealed the deal for me is the mistake WE made and Felthousen's made right. We accidentally ordered the wrong number of groomsmen boutonnieres and didn't realize it until 2 hours before our ceremony. The mistake was totally ours. I called Felthousen's and asked if they could make and deliver a boutonniere and they were able to get it to us quickly, even before our pre-ceremony photos. I can't believe we messed up and they were able to make it right. If we had gone with another florist or a grocery store chain I don't believe it would have worked out.
We had another great experience with them two months before our wedding when sadly my husband’s mother passed away suddenly. Her services were on a Monday and I ordered flowers for her services over the weekend. They went above and beyond to get the flowers we needed put together early on Monday and delivered before the services started.
Our wedding flowers looked beautiful and were an incredible value. We'll definitely be using them for flowers in the future!

A friend of mine recommended Felthousen's when I started looking for flowers for the wedding. I met with Gail and explained what I was looking for and showed her a few pictures. She offered a bunch of suggestions and was conscious of staying within my budget - including the extra delivery charge for delivering to Lake George! The flowers were exactly how we discussed and beautiful. I would highly recommend Felthousen's for any occasion.

We had such a great experience working with Felthousens (specifically Jennifer). At our initial meeting, I showed up with pictures of flowers we liked, and from there Jennifer chose the type of flowers to create beautiful arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, huppah, etc. Jennifer listened to what we wanted and was always upfront about the cost of the flowers and decorations. She was very open and let us know ahead of time of a change she had to make to the centerpieces due to a flower not coming in looking great. We appreciated her desire to create the most beautiful arrangements and centerpeices by using the best flowers available. In the end, all bouquets, arrangements, huppah flowers, table centerpieces, etc. were gorgeous!

Breathtaking!!! The centerpieces and my bridal bouquet that Jennifer designed were over the top. They literally took my breath away! My guests were amazed at them. I was able to send them home with several of the guests to enjoy. felthousens is without a doubt the best florist!

I am not a huge flower girl, so when I went to my meeting with Jess I was really trusting her and she did not disappoint! My bouquet and my girls were gorgeous. My centerpieces were exactly what I was looking for (which is impressive because I don't even quite know what flowers were in there). They were delivered exactly on time! Very easy to work with and the flowers were all stunning! The bouquets all came with their own vase which was a very nice touch. They also labeled MOB, MOG, FOB, FOG and grandparents flowers (which was a very nice touch for an organized person like myself!)

Loved them! The ladies in the Cohoes location were extremely helpful. They helped me find the perfect shade of yellow rose petals for my wedding that covered the aisle I walked down. The prices were reasonable and they were very flexible to have the flowers ready at a specific time I picked. The flowers and petals were so freak and looked beautiful on our special day!

We shopped around for the perfect florist, and we are so happy we chose Felthousen's. They were very flexible about meeting with us before our wedding to make sure our flowers were just what we wanted. The flowers for our wedding party were beautiful and looked great in pictures. The centerpieces for our reception were perfect and we got rave reviews from lucky guests that got to take them home. Our wedding flowers were stunning!! We got so many compliments on the bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, etc. I worked with Mark Felthousen throughout the 18 months of planning, and he was wonderful! Mark answered countless emails, walked my mother-in-law through corsage choices in person, gave my parents a tour of his workshop, and even designed and built sample centerpieces for me a year in advance! I live in California and the wedding was in New York, so it was so important to me to work with someone like Mark. He was efficient, helpful, and we constantly traded emails and photos of flower ideas. Mark and his staff went above and beyond--the flowers looked better than I ever imagined!

I really can’t say enough about the fabulous job Felthousen’s did for our wedding. Thinking about the beauty of the flowers on that wonderful day still takes my breath away.
We worked with Larry, whom my grandmother has worked with for decades now. Nonetheless, I’ll admit I was still a little nervous about the flowers. I had a certain vision in mind for what I wanted, but, not being much of a flower person, felt ill-equipped to articulate that vision. I, along with my then fiancé, mom, and grandmother, met with Larry one afternoon a few months before the wedding to discuss what my fiancé and I had in mind. Since our wedding would be at a barn, I explained that we wanted a wildflower look with lots of color. I showed him some pictures, talked through the specific arrangements we would need (boutonnieres, halos, center pieces, etc), and that was about it. I remember wondering afterwards if I’d been specific enough in trying to explain what I wanted, but decided to just trust that he would get it right. And boy did he (well, he and the rest of the wonderful team at Felthousen’s!).
I saw all the flowers for the first time the day of the wedding, and somehow everything was even better than I’d imagined. They made close to a dozen boutonnieres, five flower girl halos, centerpieces for each table, an arbor for the ceremony, and, of course, my bouquet. All of them were just perfect. Tons of color, beautiful greenery, and a brilliant mix of so many different types of flowers. (I counted more than a dozen in my bouquet alone.) It still makes me gush to think about it.
Needless to say, I could not recommend Felthousen’s more highly. I am so glad I entrusted them to do the flowers at our wedding. They far exceeded my expectations and were a huge part of making our wedding the magical day that it was. Thank you, Larry!!

Felthousen's Florist did a fantastic job on the flowers for my wedding. We worked with Gail and from our first meeting with her, she understood what we wanted our bouquets and arrangements to look like. She offered helpful suggestions based on previous weddings that she had worked on and was happy to work within our budget. A few months before our wedding, she prepared a mockup of the centerpieces so that we could see what they would look like. On the day of the wedding, the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, arrangements, and centerpieces were all delivered on time. Everything was beautiful, the flowers remained fresh for several days after the wedding, and we were very happy with how they all turned out.

Don't shop around, go straight to Felthousen's. I worked with Makayla and she made my jumbled vision come to light! Felthousen's has their own greenhouses that help keep the costs down because they aren't sourcing out for all of their flowers. The flowers were delivered promptly at our scheduled time. My bridal bouquet went missing at the end of the reception and Makayla recreated it for me. Would definitely recommend.

Seriously, they were so laid back and so great it was a pleasure to work with them. I changed my color scheme a few times and they were nothing but nice each time I wanted to come in to look at flower options. The flowers arrived on time and were beautiful fall colors. My colors were burgundy and orange, and the wonderful staff wrapped my bouquet in champagne ribbon to match my dress and had these wonderful orange pins decorating the stems of the flowers and they looked like antique buttons. Everything was great and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We were very happy with ordering our wedding flowers through Felthousens! I worked with Jen and she was great! She was always very responsive to e-mails and phone calls and was open to all of my ideas! I even changed most of my reception flowers only a few weeks before the wedding and she was able to make it all work and come together beautifully. They were also able to have someone bring everything from the ceremony (separate location) to the reception, which was great to be able to repurpose everything! I would definitely recommend them for any event!

I sent my maid of honor to Felthousen's the morning of the wedding (I'm sure this is shocking, but the bouquets were the thing I totally dropped the ball on). Five hours later, I had three gorgeous bouquets and two corsages for the moms! My maid of honor also used Felthousen's for her own wedding, and the flowers were stunning. Great value!

We absolutely loved the way our arrangements and bouquets came out for our wedding. We worked closely with Larry, who is one of the friendliest and easy to work with people. We went to him with a very vague and general idea of what we wanted, and he ran with it. We couldn’t have been happier with the final product. We were especially happy with the way the archway was decorated for our ceremony. Larry even found a way to re-use the bridesmaids’ bouquets and incorporate them into decorations for our reception! Larry is phenomenal and really knows his craft.

I worked with Jessica from Felthousen's for my wedding flowers. I couldn't be more happy with my decision. I did a lot of research before choosing a florist for my wedding. Felthousen's was definitely the best value for the product. I budgeted a lot for my flowers for my wedding and I still wasn't prepared for what most florists in the area quoted me for what seemed like little to no flowers. No one seemed able to give me what I wanted within my budget and kept trying to talk me into getting something different. Felthousen's was AMAZING. Jess understood my vision and had no problem working with my budget. She was so patient with me and spent hours suggesting the perfect flowers that would stand up throughout the day in the heat for a summer wedding. They even purchased candelabras and let me rent them from them when they heard how much I wanted them for my centerpieces! My wedding flowers turned out absolutely gorgeous. Jess delivered beautifully and the amount of flowers I got for my budget was absolutely stunning. I can't say thank you enough and I am so grateful and would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the area!

After talking with a few florists we decided to use Felthousen's. Mark was helpful and creative from start to finish. I sent him pictures of what we were looking for and came up with a design and price that was affordable. I was set on a specific type of vase, which Mark provided me the ability to purchase my own vases which they then used. Mark new the venue, Hall of Springs, and the catering company and made the whole experience very seamless. My mom, aunt, and myself met Mark a week before the wedding to review a mock up version of the centerpieces. This allowed us the ability to add and/or take out any flowers I didn't like. In the end, we recieved dozens of compliments on the centerpieces, bouquets, and everything in between. We are so happy with the final product, we would definitely recommend Felthousen's Florist to anyone looking for high quality and creative floral designs.

Out of all of the vendors I had for my big day.. felthousen's blew EVERYONE out of the water. My new year's eve wedding called for sparkle and elegance, and that's just what felthousen's provided. My centerpieces were breathtaking, and the customer service I have received was absolutely amazing. Can't stress enough how professional, and dedicated these employees are to making everything right. I will never, ever use anyone else for flowers- and have since used them for every occasion, and everyone always gives THE best reviews. I am so happy we decided to go with Felthousen's Florist. My sister used them for her wedding just 9 months prior to mine and after seeing her flowers, I knew that they did a good job and they would be who I picked to do my flowers for my wedding. Everyone I dealt with at Felthousen's was very nice and accommodating. They were flexible with what I wanted and responsive to any questions, comments or concerns I had. I also think compared to other places I contacted that Felthousen's had some of the best prices around! I couldn't have asked for better service or more beautiful flowers!

Michaela at Felthousen's Florist is amazing! She guided me through the process and made it so easy to be excited about them. I went to her with a couple of colors and specific flower ideas, she took these and created flowers so beautiful I couldn't have imagined anything better. I requested thistles and roses to represent my families and these were incorporated beautifully into our bouquets. My husband's favorite color was an important element in our wedding and Michaela instantly identified the perfect flower to use! Thank you for adding such beautiful flowers to our ceremony, our reception, and our cake!

All of the flowers for our wedding were ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I adored my bridal bouquet with beautiful roses and delicate, romantic hydrangeas! My bridesmaids carried sunflowers that were vibrant and perfect! The centerpieces and hanging mason jars were the perfect combinations of sunflowers and wildflowers, and the dahlias were amazing! Felthousen's exceeded my vision and I could not have been happier!

I had very very specific and unique ideas of what I wanted for my flowers and a lot of florist either didn't seem to get it or wanted to charge me a million dollars for it! Felthousen's was my floral dream come true. Mark took all my crazy Pinterest Dreams and brought them to life! I was really picky about my flowers and all the details and he really did exactly what I wanted. My flowers looked amazing!!!! It really looked like I spent a million dollars on them but Felthousen's pricing is amazing!!!! My husband and I were amazed at the quality and quantity of flowers at our wedding for by far the most reasonable price I was quoted for my wedding flowers. They also offer very personalized service. When I changed my mind or wanted to add or change something it was never a problem! They were very understanding. When I walked into my reception for the first time and saw what was in my head all set up perfectly on my wedding day it brought me to tears.

Felthousen's florist did an amazing job for our wedding!!! We had to plan our wedding from 3 hours away and Mark at Felthousen's made it easy. I could not make my mind up and Mark was the most patient person with me. He knows so much about flowers and worked with me to stay within our budget! I basically chose the type of flowers I wanted (dahlias, peonies, garden roses) and the colors I wanted and Mark made gorgeous bouquets/centerpieces. My bridesmaids loved the bouquets and everyone commented on the beautiful centerpieces. I would 100% recommend Felthousen's as your florist. The value we received was unbelievable.

Michaela did an amazing job on our flowers for our wedding this past week! I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she got it down to a T! She even made it BETTER than what I expected! Felthousen's was an amazing pick for our bridal bouquet and bridal party flowers!!! We did not want centerpiece flowers and did not want to spend and arm and a leg in this area, and Felthousen's was able to satisfy our needs perfectly in terms of price and quality. They also made us two huge displays to go up at the alter which we were able to move into the reception afterwards. Gail was very easy to work with and what I imagined she made happen!!! I would highly recommend them if you want flowers without a fuss!!!

Felthousen's provided the flowers for my wedding on November 16, 2013 and they were beautiful. Mark was great to work with and helped us navigate through the daunting task of choosing centerpieces/bouquets/corsages/boutonnieres/ceremony decor/etc. He responded immediately to emails and always kept our budget in mind. While we had a budget that was on the smaller side, we felt like what we actually received was worth three times as much. We definitely recommend them for your event!!!

Our experience with Felthousen florist was seamless from the beginning. From the initial meeting to the delivery of flowers and bouquets, to the set up at the church - everything was perfect & exactly as i had envisioned. When I explained the theme I had for my centerpieces they were able to give me a ton of great creative ideas. I met with Mark and gave him some pictures from a few bridal magazines and said "This is what I like, can you make something like this in my budget?" He took my "vision" and ran with it. He stayed within my budget and went above and beyond my expectations. I received tons of compliments about the centerpieces and the bouquets from my guests. They were also flexible. Less than a week before the wedding my mother in law decided that she wanted to surprise me with some wreaths for the doors on the church and extra arrangements on the guest book/escort card table- and they made it happen. The best part was Felthousen's was cheaper (by 25%) than all the other florists I met with. Do yourself a favor and skip shopping around- go straight to Felthousen's Florist.

Since we lived in FL while planning our Capital District wedding, it was quite a task finding the perfect vendors. A very close family friend was married the year before and had Mark, the owner, do all her floral work. So with the high recommendation, we set up a meeting months in advance. I brought lots of pictures and flower types/names as we prepared for our first meeting. Ironically just through our one phone call prior to that first real meeting, Mark knew exactly the look I was going for - when I walked into the door for the face to face meeting, he had a full centerpiece mock up completed and it was extremely close to my vision. Over the months we touched base here and there via email but since we had not seen one another again after that meeting, I was very nervous the week before the wedding on 'how it would look' but he made me feel at ease and produced the most amazing bouquets, bouts and centerpieces you've ever seen the day of the wedding! He even created a ‘wish tree’ for me from a vision I had through a wedding TV show I'd seen and it truly was magical. Mark and his team know flowers – go with the best!

One of the first places my mind goes to when I reminisce over my wedding is how beautiful my bouquet looked and smelled. Felthousen's Florist is hands down the best value that you are going to get in the Albany area. I know because I researched and contacted just about every florist in the area. Most of them failed to respond back within a reasonable time frame (if at all) and the ones who did respond charged more than twice what Felthousen's did - and that is not an exaggeration. Not only was Mark Felthousen extremely quick with responding back to me with phone calls and emails, he was very helpful in helping me with the details of the flowers - and boy, did they come out GORGEOUS and exactly what I had asked for. I can't say enough great things about this business. I am a very happy customer and would gladly recommend this florist.

We worked with Larry who has been a florist for a number of years. I wanted to stick with the colors of the fall fit for an October event. When I saw my bouquet and my MOH bouquet I was beyond happy they were stunning and were picture perfect. From the wedding flowers to the receptions centerpieces Larry did a beautiful job and I can't thank him enough for making the room smell and look beautiful.
