We were debating whether or not we needed video when we first met Colin. Let me tell you, working with Featherstone wedding films was one of the best decisions we could have ever made!
Colin and his second shooter Danny are incredibly talented and true professionals. They worked so well with our photographer that my family thought they were from the same team.
Colin in particular is deeply kind, intuitive, and communicative. He helped turn overwhelming moments into happy memories.
Now, let’s get to the footage. WOW. They captured not just the beauty of our day, but the essence of how it felt. All of the little details and funny moments are accounted for, and he was so responsive to any requests or changes.
I can’t wait to experience these memories over and over again!

Fantastic videos, fantastic guy
Colin recorded our wedding and our engagement shoot, and both times was an absolute joy to work with. He is easygoing, has a fantastic eye for his shots, and manages to capture all the important moments without ever seeming to be in the way. Colin worked seamlessly with our photographer on both events, which gave us more time to enjoy the special moments of our wedding. (At the engagement shoot, he also worked well with our rowdy adolescent dog.) Colin provided prompt teaser videos and a gorgeous engagement compilation, as well as spectacular drone footage. He has been responsive to our desires and requests as he has been putting together the wedding video, and we can’t wait to see it!
Additionally, Colin provided the photo booth at our wedding reception, which was a huge hit! He provided fun props, and made it easy for people to get prints for themselves and duplicates for our guest book, or receive them digitally. Afterwards, we also received a link to the full album to enjoy them later. We were thrilled with Colin's work, and would happily recommend him to anyone! -

Professional and talented
We have booked Colin with Featherstone Films for our May 2022 wedding, but could not wait that long to sing his praises! We did an engagement shoot with him about a month ago, and the results were incredible. We showed his 90-second video to family friends, and got both laughter and tears! Colin is incredibly good at what he does, and will leave you with beautifully and professionally edited videos that perfectly capture the feeling of the day, whether it’s an engagement shoot (which we definitely recommend) or your wedding day. We will treasure ours for years to come. Beyond his talent for making videos, he is communicative, knowledgeable, transparent, professional, and works well with other vendors, even those he’s never met. Our engagement shoot also included our photographer, and she and Colin got on super well. We’re so excited to work with him again for our wedding, and know that we’re in the best of hands. Caught our surprise dance
Colin was so easy going. During our wedding he was attentive without being overbearing. He had great attention to detail and didn't miss a thing, including the surprise dance by my hubby! -

Storyteller and Artist
Colin is a true artist and storyteller. He captured moments from our wedding without us even noticing he was there! Of all the vendors we worked with, Colin from Featherstone Wedding Films was by far the easiest to work with. He was kind and professional. Seriously, hire this guy! -

Simply wonderful!
The best part of working with Colin was how kind and polite he was. A lot of other video people we talked with were nice, but Colin went the extra mile to really get to know us and what we wanted. My family is on the East Coast, so having a highlight video to share was perfect for everyone that couldn't make it. I've already recommended Featherstone to two of my engaged friends! -

Easiest Service We Booked!
Our experience couldn't have been better! Colin was so helpful through the whole process. He included so much for free in the package that we only had to make a few quick choices. It was a breeze to plan our wedding video, and the included photo booth was a huge hit with our guests! -
