Fathom Gallery Georgetown Reviews

We had our wedding reception at Fathom Gallery Georgetown on Saturday, October 26. It was the perfect venue for our wedding of about 95 guests. We chose FGG because it was walking distance from the church where our ceremony was, and getting married in Georgetown was important to us, but also because its modern, minimalist set up gave us a beautiful canvas to bring our wedding vision to life. The price was also very reasonable, based on the other venues we considered when we were exploring vendors early in the process. We were also blessed with perfect weather on our wedding day, which was great for our cocktail hour on the beautiful outdoor patio they have. The framed prints they had of our engagement photos were also a big hit with our guests and really helped make the space feel more personal and custom-made for our wedding.

Most importantly, Meg and Emily were an absolute pleasure to work with for the nearly 10 months we worked on our wedding -- they were always friendly, professional, and very responsive, answering all of our emails within a day, no matter how minor the question. They were great with our other vendors and were accommodating with specific requests we had. We also worked with some of their recommended vendors, all of whom were equally wonderful. And their day-of coordinator, Romero, made sure we were always taken care of and looked after.

We were so happy about our wedding day and really can't think how it could have gone any better, and this beautiful venue and its team were a big part of that.

My husband and I used Fathom Gallery's Georgetown location for our wedding in March 2024. We held a cocktail-style reception and ceremony in their back courtyard.

Throughout the process, they were accommodating, communicative, and professional. The venue is lovely and fit our ~100 guests wonderfully.

We had a wedding event here and it surpassed our already high hopes. Meg, Emily, and the entire Fathom team were incredibly helpful and responsive and did everything possible to make our vision a reality.

Amazing space and convenient location in the heart of Georgetown. The patio is absolutely beautiful, especially in the evening with the string lights. Cannot recommend Fathom Gallery Georgetown enough!

So easy to work with and very flexible even with last minute decisions. The venue is gorgeous and works well for smaller and midsize weddings. I went from searching for a venue to married in less than 10 weeks with their help.

Wow! What a venue! My husband and I had a 140 person wedding and this location could not have been more perfect. The in-house furniture, built in sound system, private courtyard and 10 custom images all made the space worth while. We chose to work with one of the catering partners on their approved list and it was such an easy process. Meg and Emily were both a joy to work with and incredibly responsive. We can't wait for our photos and to host another event here in the future!

We recently had our wedding at Fathom and could not recommend the venue more. Emily and Meg were SO helpful every single step of the way and our night was truly unforgettable. Having our first dance in the courtyard under the string lights and walking around beautiful Georgetown taking sunset photos was truly magical. Another special touch were the 8 framed photos they hung up on the wall of our family members who have been married before us. Our guest had the most incredible time!

We had a small daytime ceremony and brunch at Fathom and I could not recommend the venue or the people more. Emily and Meg went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed, and that the day went perfectly. 5 stars!! Thank you!

We recently had our baby shower at Fathom Gallery Georgetown & can't thank the team enough for such an unforgettable event. Emily & Meg are amazing at what they do and their expertise & guidance made for an effortless experience. The venue is the perfect balance of modern elegance. Having the ability to hang personalized photos was such an added bonus & really allowed us to bring our own touch to the space! Great location & the beautiful outside courtyard was just the cherry on top! Looking forward to more events here in the future!

Meg and Emily helped bring our dream DC wedding to life! Having grown up and dated in the DC area, we wanted to find a place that represented our backgrounds and relationship, but wasn't run of the mill... enter Fathom Gallery. We initially were interested in the 14th Street location, but
given our headcount, needed a bigger space. Luckily, the Georgetown location opened a few months before our wedding, and we felt like scored something funky and different! The space itself is right below Compass Coffee, and right by the iconic Georgetown sign. We loved the dreamy courtyard (perfect for an intimate ceremony or cocktail hour) & the indoor space is spacious and modern. The gallery will frame ten pictures of your choice so we were able to feature our favorite engagement photos (and reduce extraneous decor). Meg and Emily were extremely responsive and professional throughout the whole process. They offered great vendor referrals (specifically our wedding planner) and remained our contacts from beginning to end. We would love the chance to have another event there in the future – highly recommend!

Booking my event at Fathom Georgetown was the best decision ever. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. The venue is beautiful and in a great location and the venue managers Emily and Meg were super helpful with any questions we had. I would recommend this venue to anyone booking any sort of event - wedding, bridal shower, baby shower, or work event! I also love that they personalize the space by printing and putting up framed photos of whatever you would like.

We had our wedding this summer at Fathom Gallery Georgetown. We couldn’t have been happier! Emily and Meg were were excellent! The were so professional and responsive. The outdoor courtyard filled with bistro lights was absolutely gorgeous! I hope to host another event with Fathom soon!
