The BEST Florist for your wedding

Diane is an absolute pleasure to work with when it comes to planning a wedding. The flowers were stunning!! She decorated both Hotel Peter and Paul for ceremony and Capulet for the reception and both were gorgeous.

Beautiful Experience!

We cannot thank Fat Cat Flowers for their work with us to lay out and provide our dream look for our wedding! We had a lot of uncertainties with our ceremony due to the pandemic shifting everything around, but we were so happy to work with Fat Cat, they were incredibly professional, easy to work with, and simply gorgeous flowers! So many design elements came from Fat Cat, even beyond the flowers; we had so many candles, centerpieces, even a beautiful rhombic arch for the rooftop ceremony! Everything turned out perfectly, and we are so grateful to Fat Cat Flowers for it!!

Fat Cat Flowers make your dreams a reality.

Fat Cat Flowers did a spectacular job with our flowers. They did both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. At the rehearsal dinner, they had a gorgeous floral arrangement at the entrance of the venue and even did a floral arrangement at the ghost's table (so fun). The arrangements on the table were beautifully designed. We received so many compliments that night and knew our wedding was going to be just as amazing.

Several months before our wedding, we met with Diane and described our vision for the wedding. On our wedding day, she took our vision and blew away our expectations. To put it in perspective, our guests described our wedding as having a "secret garden" vibe. Diane suggested greenery on the ceiling that gave our wedding a dreamy-look. She also designed the alter with beautiful foliage and florals.

Overall, Diane is the best of the best florist. We can't recommend her enough. To reiterate, she will perfectly capture your vision and even take it beyond what you would ever imagine. Her personality is very spunky and is a blast to work with. I will forever remember her joke on where to hold my bouquet!

Amazing work!

I showed Diane several photos of what I wanted. The day of my wedding, I was so surprised to see that she was able to create bouquets that were EXACTLY what I wanted. Everything was beautiful, fresh, and perfect. The flowers on my cake were a simple and beautiful way to liven up the cake. Diane is easy to work with and very attentive. I am so happy!

Fat Cat Flowers is amazing!

We feel so lucky that we got to work with Diane and the Fat Cat Flowers team. Diane is amazing in every way. She created the most beautiful bouquets and the florals in the ceremony and reception were breathtaking. She is talented, but also calm and easy to talk to, so it was very easy to discuss our vision with her. She is warm and inviting and truly one of the best people we worked with. We also gave her a lot of creative license and let her guide us, and the result was stunning. In particular, she had magnolia leaves on some of the table’s bouquets and our guests loved them. She has a calm presence and she's exceptionally talented. We will recommend her forever.

Diane from Fat Cat Flowers is an experience professional. We had our wedding in New Orleans on July 23, 2018. We never met Diane in person, and communicated with her only through email and phone calls. She delivered exceptional service, on time, and without incident. Our flowers were on a tight budget, and every step of the way Diane worked to maximize what we could do to accomplish our goals. She also seamlessly arranged for centrepiece candle displays at the last second, and beautiful baskets for our flower boy and girl. Her knowledge and experience in the field is a great asset for your wedding planning. I highly recommend Fat Cat Flowers. Thank you, Diane, for doing such a fabulous job.

I have no knowledge of flowers. I found two pictures of flowers on line of wedding flowers I liked and I walked in to my initial visit with nothing else but this idea. Fat cat was able to recreate it perfectly. They also advised on what size arrangements should go on which table. I couldn't be happier with the way my flowers turned out. They were perfect.

Diane with fat cat flowers is so awesome! I am so excited she is my florist! We chose fat cat flowers as our florist based off of a phone consultation and her reviews on wedding wire. When we had our consultation she helped me find ways to get my vision within my budget! She is very intuitive, knowledgeable and took the stress off of the process for us! We can't wait to get married this November!

Diane at Fat Cat Flowers is basically everything that you could ever wish for in a florist. Being a gay couple, we experienced nothing but kindness, openness and professionalism from Diane. She handled our needs in a kind and caring way and guided us towards things that we should do while being honest about leaving out things we wouldn't need. I can not recommend her enough. She is a true artist, and she is a fantastic human being.

Fat Cat Flowers did an amazing job on my bouquet as a boutineer for my husband and son. She was accommodating and communicated very well. I would highly recommend for any special occasion.

I could not have been happier with Fat Cat Flowers. Diane was excellent with communication, the flowers were stunning, and the entire experience was way above par. Our wedding was quite complicated, as many changes took place along the way. Fat Cat was super flexible and accommodating. They turned my backyard into a magical space! I could not say enough positive things about Fat Cat Flowers. If you're looking for unique, whimsical and not your traditional rose bouquets, these guys are your match!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Diane! I'm not very picky when it comes to flowers, so I went to her with a few pictures and told her about the style of our wedding. She nailed it! I was blown away when she delivered the flowers to my room the morning of the wedding. My bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, the cake topper...it was all fantastic. She was even accommodating of our request to have the boys' boutonnieres on magnets!

Thanks for helping make our day fabulous, Diane!

Diane with Fat Cat was amazing to work with! I planned my wedding from Florida, and she was so quick to respond to all of my many emails. I had a very nontraditional request for my bouquet, and what she created was so stunning and unique. Our arrangements were beautiful and she was so attentive to every detail. Fat Cat Flowers did the flowers for our daughter's wedding at City Park in New Orleans, and they were stunning. Our daughter had envisioned a wedding cake with a cascade of vivid flowers, and Diane and her staff outdid themselves. Everything was beautiful, within budget, and as fresh at the end of the reception as when we started. Couldn't ask for better - and her eye for color was unsurpassed.

Diane at Fat Cat is awesome! I made all of my flower arrangements sight unseen from Charlotte for my New Orleans wedding. The flowers turned out beautifully and were everything I expected. We had periodic phone meetings and Diane was able to alter my contract to make my arrangements exactly what I needed to enhance our venue and outfit our wedding party is gorgeous flowers! Fat Cat impressed my Mom and I from the moment we met Dianne! She relieves so much stress by going over in detail everything you need and making sure we got everything covered! Our flowers were simply gorgeous and exactly what I imagined them to be! She was so great to work with and very reasonably priced!

Diane did such an amazing job with our flowers. We had the ceremony in a courtyard with a huge fountain in the middle, and she made the most gorgeous spray for the top of the fountain along with candles that lined the ledge of it. All the centerpieces were beautiful and the hotel set them out on the breakfast tables the next morning for us to enjoy for another day. She used my pinterest board for inspiration and nailed it! She did a fantastic job and I highly recommend Fat Cat Flowers!

Working with Diane Mouton at Fat Cat Flowers could not have been more professional. At first I was going to work with another florist who did not even use email. This made me a little nervous as I wasn't sure they would follow through or be dependable or know what I really wanted in my bouquets! I called Diane next and felt so much more comfortable after speaking with her and getting quick email follow ups. I sent her a few photos of how I envisioned my flowers and she immediately sent a clearly defined and detailed excel sheet with the exact expenses for each item we would need. Diane is artsy, and I wanted a wildflower bouquet which she was thrilled to do herself as she was so excited to have a bride that wanted bold and fun colors! We met with Diane at her shop in person to finalize details. Diane was so friendly and wonderful to work with - she was also honest and direct. I wanted flowers on our cake and she steered me in a better direction with flowers on my cake that would not "taint" the cake with pesticides. We did a cake topping and a few accent flowers rather than flowers on every tier. All the flowers turned out beautiful - in the bouquets and on the cake. The only thing that was forgotten which gave us an unexpected scramble were the moss baskets for our flower girls. This gave me a scare right before the wedding. We lucked out and a sweet art gallery director from across our venue gave us white bowls for the flower girl's rose petals. Other than not getting the moss baskets, everything was fantastic. It all worked out in the end.

Diane from Fat Cat provided us beautiful flowers for our wedding! I was unsure of what I wanted when I spoke with her, but she gave me great out ideas! I never would have thought to use cymbidium orchids but they were the perfect addition to the roses and hydrangeas! I would highly recommend Fat Cat for wedding flowers.

Diane was a pleasure to work with. I do not have a lot of knowledge about flowers, but after our meeting I knew she understood my vision and style. I loved all of the flowers at our wedding. Everything was delivered perfectly and survived our VERY hot day (just like she said they would!).

Diane was absolutely fantastic to work with, and well worth the money! As we had our wedding at City Park and had them cater, we did get a credit towards Fat Cat Flowers. However, I opted to get a few additional items, and Diane helped me every step of the way. She offered ideas directly relevant to my vision and was able to work well within my budget. She set up at the venue before my bridesmaids and I even showed up, and we were able to take some beautiful pictures with the flowers. When I had questions during the planning process, Diane was easy to get into contact with and was incredibly knowledgeable which was a great help as I know next to nothing about flowers! All in all, wonderful experience.

Diane was so wonderful to work with from start to finish! The flowers were gorgeous and so much better than I ever could have imagined! She is so talented and was the easiest vendor to work with. Always prompt with responses and so easy to work with, even though I live out of state. I would absolutely recommend her to everyone!

The flowers were probably my favorite part of my big day. They were beyond gorgeous. I showed Diane a picture of what I wanted, and she brought to life exactly what I had envisioned. She was easy to communicate with, timely to respond to emails/calls, and just an allover PLEASURE to work with. Also, she is crazy talented. If you are debating booking her, just do it. She is well worth every penny she charges.

Diane was an ABSOLUTE GEM to work with as an out-of-town bride! She worked well with our budget and helped ease any anxieties I initially had regarding wedding decor. She even suggested an alternative to the candle place that the venue suggested - and we ended up going with it! The flowers were beautiful, Diane was so accommodating in allowing me to drop off my brooches the day before the wedding, and her candle mix that she set up for us was stunning! Everyone LOVED her work (especially the arrangements on the buffet tables!) and we were so thankful to have hired such a creative and talented florist!

Fat Cat Flowers did our New Orleans wedding and was wonderful! It was a pleasure to work with Diane, who was very responsive and always gave excellent advice (including saving us money by advising us against using more flowers than we needed). And the flowers themselves were beautiful -- bright, fresh, and perfectly assembled. We can't recommend Fat Cat and Diane highly enough

I cannot say enough good things about Diane and Fat Cat. I found looking for a florist to be really stressful because I had a tiny budget for flowers and I kept getting quotes way outside it. Diane put together a quote for a simple bouquet and centerpieces that were actually within my budget yet still in keeping with the look that I was going for. She was amazing to work with--sweet and personable but totally organized and professional, and the flowers turned out beautifully--exactly what I had hoped for. My husband and MIL also ordered a couple of other arrangements from Fat Cat over the course of the weekend that were a little more elaborate and they were gorgeous. Diane and co really do great work.

Our flowers were gorgeous!
I went for a consultation with Diane, and was told the dahlias I hoped for, would be out of season for the wedding. However, she worked to match me with the best fit for our wedding, and everything came out fabulous. We had fabulous bouquets of gerbera daisies and peacock feathers; we received many complements on the simple but elegant centerpieces. Diane was great to work with, and easy to reach.

Diane is so creative and friendly. The only issue was that she delivered the flowers to the wrong hotel and put them into another person's room. The guest happened to be a bride getting married that weekend on another day so it was easy for my planner to pick them up and deliver them to the right place. Small mishap but everything was beautiful and vibrant. I loved it even though I wasn't sure what flowers we were actually going to have till the day of the wedding. The volcano in Europe prevented the right flowers from being delivered on time. She warned me in advance and asked what my preference was if she couldn't get what I wanted. She made everything beautiful even with the last minute changes.

We had a fairly small budget for flowers, and Diane truly made the most of it. The bride explained the look she was going for and the flowers she likes to Diane, who also made a variety of suggestions to the bride from which she could choose. She did not try to get us to spend more than we budgeted, which I really appreciated. She coordinated with the baker so that the flowers on the bride's cake were perfect. She has the talent to do an uber-modern look. a more traditional look, or something in between. On the wedding day, the flowers surpassed our expectations. She was also super friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend Fat Cat Flowers.

Diane was so nice. The flowers were gorgeous. Exactly how I had pictured. My bouquet had variations of pink and white peonies and white lily of the valley. It was stunning.

I called this vendor last minute ( 1 week in advance) because I forgot my Bouquet and my fiance's bout, so I called them and Diane was so helpful I ordered everything right over the phone she delivered it to our Hotel in New Orleans. Everything was perfect my flowers were exactly what I wanted they matched my dress perfectly and were in proportion to my body, they were just amazing. My small 5 person wedding, was perfect!

Diane was wonderful to work with! The flowers were so modern & exactly what I hoped for (even though I went to her practically empty handed). She is very talented & has wonderful ideas/ suggestions if you're on the fence about anything at all. I appreciate how easy she was to access as well when I had any questions.

Fat Cat flowers provided 3 large display arrangements for our table food stations. The flowers were beautiful and large. We chose sunflowers and roses and Fat Cat created a wonderful display!

I would definitely recommend Fat Cat Flowers to any bride. Diane is easy to work with and very talented. I had some ideas of what I wanted, but not too many specifics. I appreciated that Diane could come up with ideas and options for me without pushing me to pick something that she would want to do. All the flowers for the wedding were what we had discussed and turned out beautifully. She was very flexible as to when the flowers would be delivered to the hotel and to the church the day of the wedding. I was very happy that I went with her!

Fat Cat Florists was lovely to work with. My parents are from out of town, so they originally had a phone consultation with my mother. After, they set up a few meetings, one to talk about what I wanted. They even took the time to meet my parents when they came into town and go over everything again! I wanted sunflowers for my wedding, and they told me that sunflowers were not perfect. Knowing this, I still decided on them. They must have picked out the best, because the bouquets and table centerpieces were exquisite. The sunflowers were so magnificent, and they made bouquet's that were really exactly what I wanted. Being a Jewish wedding, we also needed a Huppah. They designed it and made it look beautiful. The only reason they have a 4.9 instead of a 5.0 is that they brought one less boutonniere then they were supposed to, but in all truth if we had called them up and told them, I bet they would have came back to the temple with another one. They really did a beautiful job, and listened to everything that I said.

I liked Diane immediately upon meeting her. She was very laid back. I came in with what colors I had in mind and she immediately started showing me pictures and ideas. She was very creative and original. I was also impressed that when I initially emailed her she responded on a Saturday morning which is rare! She was prompt in delivering the flowers and they looked beautiful! I recommended her to a friend already and she has booked her for their wedding!

Beautiful and professional work

Diane did a beautiful job with my daughters flowers. The only issue we had was when they arrived, in water, she had ordered a cascading bouquet and it arrived as posy bouquet. We called her and she came to the room and had it fixed within the hour. The flowers did look slightly wilted by time the ceremony started but we were in New Orleans and we did not have a fridge to keep them in.

Beautiful flowers, professional service, easy payments

Diane at Fat Cat Flowers is about as good as they come! Very communicative, and made the process really easy. Flowers are seasonal so my recommendation is to give some idea of mood and color and allow Diane to work her magic. The only thing I rated lower than a 5 was value - flowers are expensive! I anticipated the bridal bouquet would be larger because it was the same price as mantle decorations, but I also have never had a bridal bouquet before, so I may have had the wrong impression.

We placed an order early with Fat Cat flowers from the suggestion of our cake vendor. The owner Diane helped me choose the flower type best for the season, and was able to select a lovely color arrangement when I sent her pics of my dress and the bridesmaids' dresses.

My aunt made the boutonnieres, mother's corsages, and the flower girls' hair wreaths from pre-ordered loose flowers, but my bridesmaids' bouquets and my bouquet were crafted by Diane with very little notice. (3-4 days before the wedding.) Everything was beautiful - we even had a few flowers left over to compliment the table arrangements!

My flowers were absolutely beautiful, however I did expect a little bit more for the price. They also turned out a little different than expected in our vision but nonetheless beautiful. Diane is an absolute joy to work with.

Diane Mouton, who owns Fat Cat, is very helpful in the planning process and her flowers are beautiful. I would highly recommend her. When one of her employees in charge of decorating my church didn't put up all of the pew markers, Diane refunded me the money for the missing pew markers right away. And don't be turned off by the fact that I had some flowers missing--it was just a few, nothing anyone else noticed and Diane was very upset when she found out about it. I know that it is very unusual for her to have a screw up like that.

Diane is excellent to work with. I was however, dissapointed in the flowers. My daughter had specifically ask to not have any pink, just oranges, and corals and the flowers for the flower girl were light pink. I found the arrangements very small compared to what i am used to seeing for the price we paid.

I contacted Fat Cat for an after wedding brunch because they were recommended by the venue. It was only a month or two before but they accepted the job with seemingly no issue. I only received short cold responses from Diane. I sent her multiple inspiration images that she originally agreed to, then halfway through the planning process she seemed to have thrown them out the window. After resending the photos she told me that if i wanted that kind of arrangement they would be double the price. Her response to ignoring one or two of my emails was "i'm very buys with weddings." Maybe she was, but then if she did not have the time to answer emails about 7 simple arrangements she should not have accepted the job. Had this not happened 3 weeks before my wedding i would have looked else where, but at the time Fat Cat was the option i was stuck with. The arrangements turned out pretty but not worth the frustration.
