Professional, Team effort, Fantastic!

Tammi listened to how I wanted to look on my big day. She (& her hair stylist, Terry) created a professional, relaxing & fun atmosphere. When the doors to the room of my guests opened, their reactions told it all!! They nailed it! Thank you ladies!!

Awesome professional

Tammy was ultra professional and efficient. I had never worn makeup before and I didn't feel like I had any on. I felt completely transformed. Many people were complimentary of my makeup, especially since I usually don't wear makeup.

Phenomenal work and sweetest personality

Fashion Facez was hands down the best decision I made when it came to my vendors. Tamika was so personable, professional and responsive from the moment I originally reached out to her. She made sure to check in on me in the months leading up to the wedding to assure we were all set for a smooth and stress free day. She listened to what I wanted and gave great suggestions when I seemed all over the place. I am not the type of woman to wear makeup daily so I was very nervous that I wouldn’t look “natural”. Tamika not only made sure I looked and felt beautiful, she made sure all eyes were on me. She has the type of personality where when you meet her you feel like you’ve known her for years. I highly recommend her and her team to anyone looking for peace of mind and outstanding customer service.

Tammy is AMAZING. Simply FANTASTIC! She is on time, professional, talented and super friendly. My face looked wonderful during the engagement photo shoot - she listened to my needs and delivered beyond my expectations. I took my photos at dawn and got compliments on my make-up FOURTEEN hours later at a friends party that night! When my bridesmaids saw my face - that NIGHT - they wanted Tammy too for the wedding day. We booked her easily and quickly. She got all the logistics and stayed in communication with me the final two weeks before the wedding. On the wedding day, she and her team were funny, sweet and experts! She made the lip color for our party and gave us each lip gloss for the reception. She is an amazing artist and a cool chick! : ) This is one online find we DO NOT REGRET and will use again for sure!

Tammi Toliver was my life saver! I hired her and her team for hair and makeup last minute as I had gone to another venue for a trial about a month before my wedding and was less than pleased. Tammi was able to arrange hair and makeup with less than a month to go for our August 28th wedding. Her team came to our hotel to do hair for 8 woman and our flower girl early in the morning. Tammi came a little bit later to do my makeup as well as two of the other girls. Everyone looked incredible! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. My hair, which rarely holds a girl, was even curly the next day! My makeup was amazing and made me feel incredible. My husband loved it and he is not usually a big fan of makeup. I Spoke with Tammi several times during the month leading up and she was always available by telephone. The value is outstanding for such quality, and they come to you! Definitely save yourself the stress that i experienced and go straight with Tammi from the start. They do travel all around the area as well!

Tammi Toliver and her team totally saved me after a bad consultation with a previous make-up artist. I was so worried because make-up and hair are such important parts of the wedding for a bride. From the first consultation Tammi and her team put me at ease and gave me exactly what I was looking for! She is a true artist and a professional! From the day I met Tammi for my makeup trial I knew she had to do my makeup for my wedding. When I tell me and my bridesmaids looked flawless, it was absolutely amazing! My bridesmaids were hesitant at first about getting there makeup done but on the day of the wedding they couldn't stop talking about how much they loved their makeup. We all looked beautiful that day. Our makeup was natural and my husband had no complaints. Tammi was very professional and on time the day of the wedding. I told her what time we needed to be out the door to get to the venue and she had all five of us done and ready to go in time to go. I could go on forever about how much I loved my makeup. Fashion Facez is the best and so is Tammi!

FashionFaciez are THE women you want for your big day! My mother, bridesmaids and I never looked so good and felt natural too! I was not happy with another company, so I booked late with Tammi via a referral from a friend, didn't even have a trial but saw Tammi's work on Instagram and knew I was in good hands. My husband had told me many times since our wedding that he never saw me look so good with my make-up so well done! Tammi and her team do wonders and we were so pleased. Prices were reasonable too compared with other places, and the ladies traveled to our location. They are a MUST for your wedding day!

Tammi and her team did an excellent job on our hair and makeup for my special day. My only request was to make my makeup natural looking and she did just that. The hairstylist was there before Tammi and started my bridesmaids right away. The stylists did my hair last but that was the plan so that I was perfect. Due to a time crunch Tammi was set up at the venue and ready to go when we arrive from the hotel. Tammi worked very quickly but did not leave out any details. She told me that my makeup would last until I washed it off and it did just that. Even with all the tears of joy that I shed during the evening my makeup did not run. Tammi touched base with me throughout the entire week and was in contact with me several times during the day. The team worked around our schedule and they were very understanding with our time delays. They were very professional, fun to be around and made my day worry free. I thought I would pay an arm and a leg for the services but their pricing is very reasonable. I will use Tammi and her team again in the future and I would recommend them to anyone that needs makeup or hair services. Thank you Tammi!!!

The team from Fashion Facez did an extraordinary job with hair and makeup on my wedding. Tammi was such a pleasure to work with from our first initial conversation all the way through my wedding day. When she couldn't make it herself, she sent her top team to make sure everyone looked beautiful. She followed up with me that morning to ensure everything was going well! I was so impressed with the artistry, perfectionism and professionalism that was shown that morning. The girls and I had a great time chatting away and everyone really looked their best that day!! The ability to have a team come to you on your wedding day rather than you have to travel all over takes away so much stress. And the prices were competitive!! The owner was recommended from a member of my family. It was a great choice. She checked on me every few weeks leading up to the wedding. Tammi arrived on time and was ready in minutes after she set up her work space. Everyone at the wedding raved over our makeup. It lasted the entire evening in July humidity. She was wonderful! As a former bride that planned her own wedding, I can honestly say that planning a wedding, although fun, can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming. I cannot say enough about how easy Tammi and The Fashion Facez Artistry Team made this part of the process easy, breezy, beautiful and were the right team for me! Tammi is organized, professional, and best of all personable and truly understands the needs of her brides and clients. She as well as her team of ladies are truly artists. Fashion Facez came highly recommended to me by my sister-in-law and 6 other women I know that also had the 10 star experience that I now too know! My makeup was flawless. What I asked for is exactly what Tammi and her team gave my beautiful bridesmaids , my mother and myself as the bride. Our make up lasted the rest of the day and night! I was also lucky enough to use The Fashion Facez Red Carpet matte lipstick which I love and continue to wear post wedding (be sure to check out their make up line ladies!!!) My make up looked amazing until I had to begrudgingly take it off--I just did NOT want to take that makeup off! I was so excited to have the services of Fashion Facez on one of the most important days of my life. The services I received were beyond special. After my booking, fashion Facez kept in constant contact and were always available to answer my question or concerns. Tammi does my makeup for weekly onstage presentations. She does not take long to apply my makeup (very important to me) and the end result is always amazing. I have very thin, barely there eyebrows. Tammi does a wonderful job defining them and making them noticeable.

Tamika was absolutely wonderful. She did my wedding day make up along with my whole bridal party. I also had my hair styled in an updo by her hairstylist which turned out better than I had ever envisioned. I can't say enough about the wonderful service she provided. I was referred to Tammi and FashionFacez about a month before our wedding, when the original HMUA had to back out. Tammi reached out to me immediately, and was able to talk to me about what I wanted out of my hair and makeup look. She was prompt with processing the deposit. In the days/weeks before the wedding, I sent her some photos of my current hair color/length, as well as some potential styles. She responded to me quickly about different questions she had.

The day of the wedding, Tammi (who did my makeup) and Shannon (hair) came a little early in order to set up. Shannon was very personable and friendly, and provided exactly the hairstyle I wanted for the big day! She also did the hair for one member of our wedding party, and she was equally happy with the service she received. In terms of my makeup--it was very bold. I believe "stunning" was the word that our guests used to describe how my makeup looked. Tami used light makeup that worked well for photos. She also created a custom lip color for me, and gave me a small tube of it for my use during the wedding (I'm still using it, days after!).

All in all, I was extremely happy with the quality of service I received from Tammi and Shannon. It was a bit more than other HMUAs I investigated in Philadelphia, but FashionFacez's ability to deal with multiple ethnicities and hair types made that extra cost more than worth it.

Tamika was great during a very exciting and slightly stressful event. A girls' wedding day is one of the most memorable days of her life and she wants to feel like a princess (and look like one). I was extremely pleased with the level of service she providing me and my bridal party. My girls range in shades and color and Tamika was able to make them all look beautiful and natural which is not always easy when working with multiple shades of beauty. While, she worked alone that day, she was able to provide personal attention to each of us accommodating our individual needs (My mother-in-law is very particular about make-up). She arrived early and was able to get all 6 of us picture perfect in a timely manner. I received compliments all day on how beautiful I looked and that was in part due to Tamika's excellent work. Thank you!

Tammi was great i love the work she did for my 10/24/14 wedding. She was friendly and related well to everything that was going on. I have to say that Tammi was 1 1/2 hours late to my big day, though it was a vow renewal everything was set like a wedding. I had to call her so that I knew where she was at but she did not pick up the phone. She called me back and told me that she was very sorry that she will be at my house soon and that not to worry. She called me again to tell me that she took the wrong exit and while on the phone was getting pulled over. When she arrived at my house she told me that the hairstylist was in a car accident and had to go to the hospital and that she had to do my hair and make up as well as my other girls. She was going to do my mothers make up but since she was late my sister did it. I am not sure if the story she said was true or not and that is not for me to judge
**but I must say that my make up and my girls make up was great!!! **
And If I had another event I would look for her again!
I would just push the time back a little bit ;) OH AND THE MAKE UP LASTED ALLLLL DAY UNTIL I WASHED IT OFF MYSELF!

Tammi was great! She was on time and very professional the day of my wedding. She did an amazing job with everyone's faces. Everyone looked beautiful and not over done. For the cost her work is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend her for make up services.

You'll look good, but it's not worth it

First off, I will say that the hair and makeup looked amazing. One of my bridesmaids said it was probably her favorite look ever having her makeup done. If this review was on the look alone, it would probably be five stars. But Tammy and her team too so long to do the hair and makeup, that they took up the entirety of my photo time. I had hair and makeup booked to end at 12, with a photographer coming at 12:30 and first look starting at 1pm. Tammy and her team did not finish hair and makeup until about 3:00pm, and I had to be hidden away by 3:30 for my ceremony time. If Tammy had come clean about the delays, I could have gone earlier in the lineup and started taking pictures, saving the bridesmaids pictures until later. But, 9pm the night before my wedding, Tammy calls me to say that she's super confident we'll finish before 12pm (and this is with an additional person getting hair who ended up too sick to come in). Because she said that, I purposefully scheduled myself last so that I might be finishing up when the photographer got there and could snap a few "getting ready" shots. And as the time ticked by from 12 to 12:30, Tammy's saying things like "Oh you were so smart to add this buffer in" and then it's getting past 1 and she's saying "oh yeah they start first look at 1:30". There was never an apology, she never attempted to go faster.
This was the biggest issue, but I was also shocked with a few other unprofessional things that Tammy did while I had booked her service. For one, she asked me to collect makeup inspiration looks for each of my bridesmaids (I was letting them choose what their makeup would look like) and yet, when she got there on my wedding day, she just picked her own look based on their dress and gave everyone the same look. She also ignored the bridesmaids' individual requests--one of my bridesmaids did not want fake eyelashes and opened her eyes in the chair to see a pair of glued falsies being thrust at her to the point that she couldn't say anything before they were placed on. Her assistants, who do half of the girls' or do trials, also seem to just be whatever family and friends she finds. At my, expensive, trial, she brought her friend who "was thinking about getting into hair" to do my hair. And trust me, it was 1. the opposite of what I asked for and 2. not done well. Then at the wedding, the other makeup person was just her highschool-aged daughter. She wasn't bad, but when I contract you and shell out hundreds and hundreds (and hundreds) of dollars, I expect more professionalism than this. Finally, when all was said and done, she also pulled my mom aside and argued for a better tip. The groom's mother was not there, but had given my maid of honor money to tip. After she gives the money to the hair person and to Tammy, Tammy comes up to my mom and I saying "one girl tipped. Is each girl tipping individually" and then when my mom grabs her wallet and starts counting out cash, Tammy pulls out her calculator and punches in numbers and magically the tip amount she shows that's "proper" just happens to be exactly the amount of money my mom has (eye roll). This happened very fast before I was able to talk to my bridesmaid about how much she gave, and my mom just went with it because we were already so late (she was missing me step into the dress just to pay). But that was ridiculous. There was no mandatory amount in the contract. And no, you shouldn't get 20+% for being 3 hours behind schedule (I only had four bridesmaids!). So you'll probably look great, but you won't have your say, your timing, your money, or any photos to show for it.

Tammi Toliver was my makeup artist for my wedding day! While Tammi did a nice job on my makeup, she was extremely tardy on the morning of my wedding day, over an hour late! My entire wedding party of five was waiting for her for over an hour. I contacted her, half an hour after her anticipated arrival, she didn't even have the decency to call me and tell me she was running late, I had to call her! When Tammi saw that I was visibly panicking, because I realized that she was the sole reason I would be late to my ceremony, she told me to "calm down and stop trying to control my day!" When in fact, if anything I had every reason to be upset, because my husband and I invested a lot of money and paid for our entire day!! While I read other reviews on Thumbtack.com that she was prompt and professional, unfortunately, I experienced quite the opposite! Using her is not worth the stress of being late for your wedding day!

I didn't like my makeup.it just wasn't me. I didn't realize how bad I looked until I got my pictures back. I was disapointed .

Poor service response

I ordered makeup at the end of May & was told by the Owner that I would have my makeup before my vacation on July 4. When I did not receive my order I reached out to the owner who indicated she was doing a commercial & would check when she got home & let me know. After a wedding, family emergency & taking her daughter to school there still wasn't a sense of urgency to refund me my money. We are now approaching Aug & Tammy has decided not to respond to my messages just to get my money back. I have been a client of hers for over 6years, I never thought I would be treated with poor service skills & had to wait for 2months to get my money. I will never use or refer her services again.
