We just got married this weekend (5/18/2024) and genuinely had the most stress free wedding day and the team at Farmstead was a huge part of that. Throughout the planning process Lindsey was always prompt in responding to any questions we had. On the wedding day itself Noelle and Andrew were absolute professionals and made sure we had everything we needed. They were so attentive the entire day and there was never a time where I questioned that everything was being handled perfectly. Even having to make the last minute decision to move the ceremony inside due to rain, we were all so impressed with how efficient and seamless the entire staff was at making it happen. Most of our guests said they didn’t even realize that the ceremony wasn’t always meant to be inside because it was decorated so beautifully. The guests cannot stop raving about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food and drinks were. This venue is also so reasonably priced for all that is included. There are no extra hidden fees which we really appreciated. We also loved having the bridal suite on site it really simplified the entire day for us. Also want to give a shout out to the bakery they work with for the wedding cake (also included in the package) Cafe Pierrot, the cake turned out absolutely beautiful and they set up delivery directly with the venue we didn’t have to do anything to make sure it arrived. We would one thousand percent recommend anyone looking for an intimate non-ballroom vibe wedding to consider Farmstead!

We utilized Farmstead for our rehearsal dinner and they did not disappoint! From the very beginning the communication was clear, professional and prompt and they helped us stay organization throughout the planning. The event itself turned out to be perfect. The staff was on point with the schedule and the room looked beautiful. Our guests were amazed at how nice of a venue it was. Very highly recommend having an event there if you're looking in the other.

On an unrelated note it's also a fantastic golf course! We look forward to the weather getting warmer so we can come back and play it again.

Farmstead was such a wonderful venue for our reception. I always wanted mine there because it’s where my parents had theirs. The venue was gorgeous and Lindsey & Dan were fabulous to work with. I’m very happy with how everything turned out!

Growing up in Sussex County, I knew the beauty of Farmstead and loved seeing it every time I would drive by. When my husband saw it for the first time, he fell in love with the view from the bay window behind the sweetheart table in the reception room. Lindsey was friendly and amazingly patient at answering any questions we had (I must have emailed her about 100 times over the course of our almost 2-year engagement) and she was always quick to reply. Lindsey, Andrew and Noel were all amazing the day of the wedding and I did not have to worry about a thing; I truly knew I was in good hands with them and their staff. The bridal suite may be a bit too small for those with large bridal parties, but for the 6 of us it was perfect. I cannot thank Lindsey, Andrew and Noel enough for such a flawless day!

Its a hidden gem for sure. The place is just beautiful with amazing staff. Everybody was so helpful and very professional. Lindsey and Andrew were always available throughout our wedding planning. We probably emailed Lindsey a hundred times and every time she would reply promptly. On the day of , Noelle made sure everything was on point from setting up the decorations to organizing the bridal entourage and guests during the ceremony. We couldn’t ask for more the whole set up was so beautiful. Definitely the best day ever! Thank you again for what you do Farmstead golf and country club.

We had the best day!! Everyone was so nice and helpful everything ran so smooth. The landscape was a perfect backdrop for our photos! The food was delicious and the banquet room is just so lovely highly recommend :)

Farmstead was the perfect place for us. It had the farm/rustic style we were looking for and didn't have as high of a minimum as other venues, which was perfect for us since we barely had 100 people there. Lindsey, the manager, is awesome and always very helpful in answering questions. I would email or call and always get an answer within a day or two. The ceremony was outside and beautiful. Even the indoor ceremony area would've been perfect if it was raining that day though. Pricing was very reasonable and the food options are endless, but all the items we chose for our day tasted amazing! They are very accommodating and willing to get you to the dream wedding you are looking for! We even had our dogs in the ceremony. :-) The only negative I had was the bridal suite. It's pretty small and had a weird smell the day of my wedding, which was a little gross.

Where do we even begin? Farmstead is a hidden gem and was an absolute dream to work with in preparation to our wedding day, and blew away all of our expectations day-of. My fiance and I both grew up in Sussex County, and knew we wanted to get married close to home. When we toured Farmstead, it felt so right for us and we cancelled our remaining venue tours. It was the perfect combination of rustic and classic that we were looking for, and my fiance loves to golf so that was a plus too. From the very beginning, we were met with kindness from Andrew, and worked with the amazing Lindsey all throughout the planning process. They were above and beyond and accommodating to our details and our vision, to help us create a day so us. Day of, we had Noelle as our maitre’d and she was awesome. They set up all of our decor so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We were served breakfast and mimosas getting ready in the bridal suite, and lunch after pictures before the ceremony. They were accommodating to our bridal party who had food allergies, and were so attentive to make sure we were all taken care of. Getting married in December, we chose to have our ceremony indoors in the Coach room and it was beautiful and cozy in front of the fireplace. We took all of our pictures outside before the ceremony and lucked out with a gorgeous fifty degree day in December, and the beautiful property offered great backgrounds. The staff quickly turned the coach room into our cocktail hour room while our guests were brought downstairs for champagne, and the cocktail hour food was incredible. So plentiful, so hot, and so delicious. The bacon wrapped scallops were amazing. We had two signature cocktails and they were so yummy, and fun to personalize. Our reception was even greater than cocktail hour, and the food was TO DIE FOR. The prime rib carving station we have had guests still call us weeks later saying how delicious it was, and the honey mustard glazed salmon was mouth-watering. You will not be disappointed, the food is awesome. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and just down-right amazing. Bob drove us on the golf carts around for pictures, and is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. And his dog, Duke. I wish we could do the whole day over again so we could work with these people again. Anyone looking for a hidden gem, rustic, and beautiful wedding venue in Sussex County, look no further.

Loved every minute of my wedding! The staff was amazing and made sure me and my husband were taken care of. My ceremony was moved inside and I was blown away at how beautiful everything was set up!

Farmstead captivated us as soon as we pulled into the parking lot! Once we walked into the reception space we were hooked. This venue is a hidden gem! What set this venue apart from others in the Sussex County area was that I knew what I was getting every step of the way; they work one wedding a day and give you every ounce of their attention on your big day and even before! The team (Lindsey, Andrew, Noel) were able to answer all of my questions and then some and made me feel confident that my “big day” was going to be taken care of flawlessly. I was blown away by the detail they put in to decorating for my day, the food was wonderful, and the staff was professional and efficient! I, no doubt, would book this venue again for another event.

Andrew, Noelle, and Lindsey were an amazing team and did SO much to make our day special and personal. I was amazed how they always said, "yes" to everything I requested and never charged me extra or made us do things ourselves. They set up and broke down everything, even letting me take down paintings from their walls to hang my own items and moving things around between the ceremony and reception. The chef was also incredible, cooking dishes for me that he had literally never made before to keep within our Italian theme. The venue was stunning and although we didn't have to bring a thing in to make it wedding ready, they were so great about helping us incorporate personal touches to really make the space ours. They even accommodated us having a wine tasting during the cocktail hour (which their staff ran!) and were very open to my other vendors coming in to help set up, including our florist. I wouldn't change a thing about the wedding and we truly chose the best place for us. If you're looking for an intimate setting with a rustic vibe that includes amazing catering, I'd highly recommend going to visit Farmstead and walking around their beautiful grounds.

I've been putting off writing this review in hopes that the exact perfect words would pop into my head about how fantastic Farmstead was. That has yet to happen, and I'm not sure it ever will because when it comes to this venue and this team, words totally escape me. They left us speechless. From the very first moment we walked into Farmstead, it just felt right. Between the ease with which Andrew spoke about everything to the promising reviews regarding food and drinks, my (now) husband and I left a deposit on the spot. From that moment forward, they were prompt to respond to every email and phone call, answering every questions and solving every problem, putting all of our venue-related worries at ease. At the rehearsal, Noelle was a perfect guide through the ceremony process, and both Noelle and Andrew helped us unload our (many, many) decorations into the office. On the day of, Noelle made every effort to ensure that everything matched our vision perfectly and then some. I barely had to lift a finger. In fact, even being there I felt like I was doing a disservice to her magic-working since she was so efficient and wonderful! For a very controlling person like me, this was a very calming and helpful way to start the day and left me feeling very at ease. We got so many compliments on the way the space looked, and we were in total awe of seeing our vision come to life, and THEN some! We got SO many compliments on the food which was FANTASTIC. They even created a squash dish for me and our other veggie/vegan guests. They made sure we were informed and knew exactly what was going on every step of the way. They took care of all of the breakdown as well and put everything in one spot for us to pick up the next day. We cannot say enough good things about this gorgeous location, amazing venue, fantastic people, and delicious food. What. A. Dream. Thank you, Farmstead!

Choosing the Farmstead as our ceremony/reception venue was the best decision we made! The staff, Andrew, Lindsey, and Noelle made our wedding experience easy. They went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were filled in on every detail, comfortable, and were able to enjoy our night! I would highly recommend this as your venue!!

Farmstead was the perfect rustic venue for my modern rustic wedding. They did so much for me on my wedding day that helped out so much and made things stress free. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue or people to work with. Absolutely amazing!

"Perfect" is the only word that accurately sums up our entire wedding experience at the Farmstead. Recommended by my sister's co-worker who just recently attended a wedding there, my groom and I decided to check out this venue on a chilly winter day. Even in the middle of January, the property's rustic yet elegant nature won us over almost immediately. If the gazebo, ponds, and stunning barn weren't enough to sway us, the attentiveness and helpfulness of the wedding coordinators certainly did. The team of Lindsey, Andrew, and Noel were beyond perfect. They made sure our big day was incredible. The only time anyone was not available was when Lindsey went to a local clothing store to buy suspenders for my dad, who had lost some weight since his tux fitting and needed some assistance. Let me say that again...Lindsey went to a department store just to make sure my dad was comfortable. Incredible. Bob, the owner, was even on-site the day of our wedding to drive my mom and myself in a golf cart down to the ceremony site after carting my groom, photographer, and I around all morning for photos. Noel made sure that every single detail was perfect and expertly coordinated with our dj, photographer, and officiant to ensure things ran smoothly. Her attention to detail is exquisite as she transformed the reception room to match my vision better than I could have ever imagined. Andrew was always available to answer questions. The wait staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure all of our guests had everything they needed.
If you couldn't figure it out by now, I don't have enough amazing things to say about the Farmstead. If you want a venue where you don't have to worry about anything except enjoying your wedding day, then this is 100% the place for you. I wish I could do it all over again right now, and it is all thanks to the Farmstead.

From the minute we walked into the Farmstead I knew it was where I wanted to get married. From the amazing staff to the breathtaking backdrops, you couldn’t ask for a better venue! The food is fantastic and the staff can't be beat! Our guests have not stopped complimenting us everything from that day!

The best environment for a fun, rustic intimate wedding day. The 1st and ONLY place we checked out. Love at 1st site. My wife and I had so many people ask us how we even found Farmstead. The staff from top to bottom Andrew and Lindsay were amazing to work with. We were nervous about getting our vision to come to fruition. The second we laid eyes on the set up in the main room we were blown away! The day went smooth the night was fun! We even went back for lunch on our 1 year anniversary! Love this place. I cannot say anything bad about my experience with the Farmstead. First, Lindsey answered all of my tedious questions for over a year and always got back to me. Noelle- you were a dream to work with and helped ensure everything was perfect at all times. My family cannot thank you and Andrew enough. Andrew was a ninja- always there to help but not in the way at all. You guys were so amazing and thank you- the venue looked absolutely beautiful!

The most perfect wedding venue. The food, the decor, the staff, but mostly the flexibility!! We shopped around for wedding venues for weeks and weeks, and found most places to be very strict about their policies & assistance. However, from the start, we could tell Farmstead was different. Lindsey & staff were SO accommodating in every aspect. The food was fantastic; I highly recommend the buffet! So many guests told us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. The entire venue is so warm & inviting, and make for fantastic wedding pictures. Our wedding day was truly perfect in every way, and we have the Farmstead staff to thank for that!! Go see this venue in person, you won't regret it!

We had the most unbelievable wedding at farmstead. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. Between the fast responses via phone calls and emails to the preparation and set up of the day of, we had the most wonderful experience. I couldn't have asked for a better day. The venue itself is beautiful and the set up from the staff just made it even more spectacular. We had the most perfect day and I would choose this venue for again in a heart beat! I loved the views and the rustic feel that it brought. It was everything we wanted and more! Best wedding day ever!! Amazing experience hosting my wedding at the Farmstead. One year later people are still raving how awesome the venue was, how amazing the food tasted and how much was served, and how great the staff was during our wedding. The farmstead is reasonable in price compared to average weddings these days, Lindsey and the team were an absolute rockstar helping us to plan and make the day perfect. It was the most beautiful day of our lives and I highly recommend this venue!

Farmstead was an a amazing and beautiful venue and the staff was absolutely excellent!! They made my day absolutely flawless! From rehearsal and dinner to the wedding everyone was wonderful and it was absolutely gorgeous! My wedding day was filled with fun and relaxation because they took care of everything. I can not thank them enough for all they did!

Farmstead is a beautiful venue. We worked with Lindsey and Noelle for the most part but everyone was wonderful. The Chef was very accommodating as well. I can’t say enough about Lindsey. She exceeded our expectations. She is personable and professional to say the least. Noelle was running all night with a contagious smile. She was kind and energetic. We highly recommend Farmstead!

What can I say, we could not be more thrilled with our wedding at The Farmstead. This was the first of about three venues we visited during our search. Even though it was the middle of winter and it was covered in snow, we fell in love with it right away. The entire property was the perfect balance of rustic beauty. As a couple who enjoys the outdoors, my groom’s family actually owns a farm upstate, we wanted to make sure that our love of nature was reflected in the place we would get married. But we all know that a beautiful setting isn’t enough. What really put this place over the top was the staff. Banquet manager Lindsey made the process so easy for us. In every meeting and every email, she really listened to what we wanted. She was responsive to every email I sent no matter how trivial the request (and I know there were many). Going in to our wedding weekend, I was not as stressed as you would imagine a bride would be because I was confident that she had it all under control. On the weekend of the wedding we worked with Noelle as our wedding maître d. She, Andrew and the rest of the team were the utmost professionals. The entire wedding was absolutely seamless. As an event planner myself, I know all the things that can go wrong. But I have to say nothing did (and if it did, I had no idea. Sign of a good team!). The setting was beautiful, they set up all of our décor just how we wanted it and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend The Farmstead for anyone looking for a beautiful wedding in North Jersey.

May 12,2017 was the best day of our lives! From the first time we saw Farm stead to the wedding day we just had a feeling when we stepped onto the property.

Our wedding was just held at Farmstead Golf & Country Club this past Labor Day weekend on 9/1/17. I can't say enough good things about this place - first off, it is absolutely perfect if you are looking for a rustic yet elegant place to hold a wedding or any type of formal event. The second we walked into the venue and took a look around, we knew it was the place we would hold our wedding. Lindsey and Andrew are phenomenal and always had the most positive attitudes which is something I personally loved. Any way we wanted to customize our day, they never told us we couldn't do it. Noel assisted us on the day of the wedding and she was just as amazing. The staff is great. Wedding planning can get out of control, overwhelming, expensive, etc. The pricing of this venue is the best around - you really can't beat it! They give you endless options for food, and our guests repeatedly told us how amazing the food choices were. No one walked out of our wedding hungry! They hold one wedding per day - and have a beautiful bridal suite to get ready. They even served us a huge platter of sandwiches and salads for lunch in the suite while we were getting ready. The food is great, the service is spectacular, the venue is beautiful, the price is right -- what more could you want!? I will always recommend this venue to whoever I may come across in the future looking to plan a budget friendly wedding! Thank you Farmstead!! 5 stars!

I got married here on July 29th and could not have pictured my wedding to be any better! The staff was incredible, extremely helpful and friendly. Everything was just amazing!!! I'm already looking forward to visiting for some of our anniversaries!!

Love love love. When your heart is set in being outside but it rains have no fear. The inside is just as romantic and beautiful. My guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been too and Lindsay is to thank! Being able to have hair and makeup come on site to get the girls ready was awesome. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that you are having a blast. The food was exactly the way it was for our tasting. I loved the fact that while I was getting ready downstairs I could pop upstairs to see how everything was going. It really was amazing to see how the venue came alive with decorations. I would recommend anyone to this venue.

This place is absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing and the service was great. They provide a picture perfect landscape, getting married by a gazebo on a lake and then having the reception in an old barn with chandlers was so perfect for us.

I absolutely Love this place!!! we got married august 27 2016 . we had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at the farmstead and everything was perfect! we met with Andrew first he showed us the grounds and went over all the wedding things due to Lindsey having a baby. we set up our meal tasting which was also with Andrew and since the food was so amazing we put down our deposit right then and was able to meet the chef due to myself the bride having a major garlic allergy they were able to prepare all our food without it.. we met Lindsey to discussed our details who is just so fabulous i cannot say enough about her. she was so helpful as a bride i feel like you don't really know much well Lindsey answered all my questions so quick and i probably annoyed her but she was still so fabulous and always so caring. all the staff and employees were very nice and efficient during our big day.The food is sooooooo delicious!!!! i have guests telling us how great the wedding food was and even some people told us it was the best they have ever had whose been to multiple weddings. the ceremony space outside is just stunning i am so happy we chose the farmstead. the cocktail room is simply perfect. Lindsey was great with letting me even drop off things before hand due to me living so far away. i even ended up leaving some things there after our wedding day and Lindsey is keeping them for me until i return from my honeymoon. they are so caring! i loved that its family owned! you can definitely tell. i would highly recommend this venue!

Farmstead was a dream come true! My husband and I could not decide on a wedding venue, and luckily through a google search I found Farmstead! We took a tour with Andrew and immediately fell in love; rustic, sweet and charming! Lindsey was absolutely amazing to work with and definitely saw our vision for how we wanted the night to run. The whole entire staff was amazing and I can't thank them enough for making our day special! I would highly recommend Farmstead! We are so beyond pleased!

We had our wedding at Farmstead on Saturday 7/9 and it was just absolutely amazing! I don't even know where to start, the food was amazing, the ceremony site and reception locations were perfect, and our guests just kept saying how beautiful of a venue it was! Lindsey was my wedding coordinator and the Matre'D for the day of. She was absolutely the best to work with! So friendly, responsive, and accommodating! Every little detail was cared for, and everything the day of was exactly how we had discussed via our many emails. I loved that we were able to spend the entire day there, breakfast and lunch was provided, and it felt like the place was ours the whole day while we were getting ready. Just two quick examples of how amazing Lindsey and Andrew were...during the day Andrew let me know that the tulle drapes/string lights I bought to have around the dance floor weren't long enough, so he offered to hang other string lights in between to make up the difference. The second example was that during the reception my dress had gotten stepped on and my bustle was ripped out, Lindsey insisted on fixing my bustle so I could enjoy the rest of the night, and pinned up my dress for me. These were just two little examples of how wonderful Lindsey and Andrew were, and how extremely happy we were to have our wedding at Farmstead! It was absolutely the best decision and made our wedding day everything we dreamed of. Thank you so much Lindsey and Andrew! I highly recommend having your wedding or other event at Farmstead, you will not be disappointed!!

Had our wedding here this past weekend and I can't say enough good things about Farmstead! The grounds are gorgeous (photo op heaven) and the event coordinators Lindsey and Andrew - along with the entire staff - were a true pleasure to work with.
Both Lindsey and Andrew were always responsive to emails and phone calls and went above and beyond to work with the chef to create a menu that was safe for my husband's severe dairy allergy. The day of the wedding both were on hand to coordinate everything and thanks to them the day flowed completely smoothly leaving me worry free to enjoy our wedding which was perfect. Now I just can't wait to get our photographs back since I know they are going to be amazing!

When looking for a venue that was country/rustic we stumbled across Farmstead Golf and Country club. Having our wedding here was a wonderful experience. Lindsey is very easy to work with, and I had nothing to worry about besides getting ready. The food was delicious and our guests really enjoyed the grounds. We ended up getting some amazing photos because of the beautiful scenery the golf course has to offer. Best decision we made for our special day!!

The moment my husband and I showed up to Farmstead to view what they had to offer we knew right away we wanted our wedding there. I always wanted a barn/rustic wedding but could not fit 250 people in a little barn. Farmstead Country Club offers a beautiful rustic feel with wooden beams, wagon wheels, wagons, and romantic chandeliers.
We worked with Lindsay and she was on top of everything when it came to planning. She helped us schedule tastings, seating arrangements, cake tastings, etc. The weekend of our wedding we worked with Lindsay's sister (I can't remember her name, sorry!!) because Lindsay just had her baby (congrats!). Lindsay's sister was a doll and so much fun to work with. Our rehearsal was organized and she answered all questions. The day of our wedding everything was set up perfectly and I had ZERO worries.

We got married outside on the beautiful little island. The walkway was surrounded by wildflowers and guests were taken down to their seats via golf carts. We chose to have pictures taken during cocktail hour and while guests were inside eating and drinking, cocktails and drinks were brought outside for us to enjoy as well.

The rest of the night was a blur and went by so fast, but I never, EVER had to worry about anything. Farmstead did an amazing job and I highly recommend having your wedding or event at their venue.

From day one we were in love with this place! The staff were incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process. The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception went seamlessly and when we didn't know what was coming next or what to do, the wonderful attendant Lindsay was there to assist and answer any questions. We also had our ceremony there and it was beautiful. The grounds have a rustic, vintage vibe with the silo, barn, gazebo and pond. Our photos were gorgeous because the area is absolutely beautiful, it's a great option for a venue close to Manhattan (only about an hour away) with hotels nearby. I can't say enough great things about Farmstead!

Farmstead Country Club was the PERFECT place for our reception. We got married on one of the hottest days of the year and the air conditioning was in full force so everyone was comfortable at the reception. The site is stunning and the service was impeccable. We were able to drop off all our decorations the day before and they assisted my aunts in helping set up the day of. Lindsey was always quick in her responses to any question I had and was so accommodating. I highly recommend!

First off my now husband and I went to dozens of venues and thought they were nice, but were not convinced. When we drove into the parking lot we already knew this was the place we would get married.

Lindsey and Andrew were the most accommodating ever and absolutely so sweet. I would recommend this venue to anyone!! Everything went perfectly and the food was amazing!!!!!! I can't think of one thing that I would change!

My husband and I couldn't have been happier with how our wedding turned out. Lindsey was great and always answered all my questions. When I first walked in to see the reception room to decorate the day before I was blown away. It was more than I ever imagined. It was amazing! I was extremely happy with how everything turned out.

Finding a wedding venue to accommodate a smaller wedding (we chose to have only 60 guests) many places refused to even answer back my inquiry. Lyndsey and her team were so nice! She contacted me right away and was impressed from the start. We had a Sunday Wedding there on site as well as the reception. The grounds are gorgeous and our pictures were amazing! Lyndsey was so easy to work with and answered any questions I had for her promptly. The wedding day was great, she kept everything running smoothly. Our wedding day was so great, we received raving reviews over how great the food was. The staff was friendly and so accommodating to our guests. I would definitely recommend Farmstead to others who are having an event.

The food is soooooo good. Everyone keeps complimenting us on it. You can't go wrong with any of the menu choices.
The venue itself is so beautiful. It has such a cozy, rustic feel, while still being a spacious and roomy. I loved the detail of the place like the beams and the fireplace, and the view from the ballroom. It's just gorgeous.
The actual day of the wedding went so smoothly thanks to Lindsey, Andrew, and everyone at the Farmstead. There was a freak snowstorm the day of our rehearsal and we weren't able to get up there to practice the ceremony, but Lindsey made sure everything went perfect. She and Andrew even came up early early that morning the day of the rehearsal so we could drop off things before the storm got bad. The snow ended up making the place look even more magical the day of the wedding. Me and my bridesmaids were able to get ready downstairs and had a great breakfast and time to relax that day. The place was perfect for pictures too.
Everything went so smoothly and I got to just relax and enjoy the whole day from start to finish without any worrying.
The Farmstead is an amazing family owned business. They only do one wedding a day, and they give such special attention to each event. Definitely have your wedding there...you won't regret it!!

Farmstead is stunningly beautiful. Our wedding photos all have the most gorgeous backgrounds. Beyond its beauty, Farmstead is also dedicated to making your wedding perfect. Lindsey is very sweet and easily accessible by phone or e-mail. She works hard to make a couple's wishes for their wedding day come true, and she is also very resourceful when it comes to any handling any little snafus that pop up along the way.

The food at Farmstead is absolutely delicious and the wait staff is very professional. The wedding packages are varied, with more than fair prices, and can be customized to suit your needs.

Working with Lindsey was always easy and pleasant, and I have nothing but positive things to say about having had my wedding at Farmstead.

How can I put into words how amazing my wedding experience with Farmstead Golf and Country Club was? My husband (!) and I used Farmstead as both our ceremony and reception venue. The first thing I would like to say is that the venue is absolutely GORGEOUS. When our photographers arrived at Farmstead, just viewing the venue got them incredibly excited to shoot our wedding. The grounds are beautiful, especially in the fall. The contrast of the vibrant green golf course to the awesome colors of the fall leaves on the trees is just breathtaking. The inside may look a bit outdated, but I'm telling you that it is absolutely wonderful when it is decorated (and we didn't do anything extravagant).

The staff you work with when you use Farmstead are incredible. Lindsey is a joy to work with! She's so helpful, it is like having your own wedding planner without paying extra for one. The business is family owned and operated, so they actually care about whether or not you have a good time at your wedding. They only do one event each day, so all of their attention is totally focused on you and your big day. They help with any setup you may require and are extremely flexible about drop off/pick up of decorations as long as they do not have another event that day.

The food and drinks were amazing! We heard nothing but amazing compliments about our food all night long; we served the short ribs, scallops, chicken picatta, and a vegetarian selection. I ordered the scallops and my husband chose the short ribs- both were delicious and cooked perfectly. For an appetizer, we served butternut squash soup and that was amazing as well. The chef took every guest's dietary restriction into consideration during the preparation of the food and everything came out great (we did have to give them restrictions ahead of time). Lindsey also got us special beers/a signature cocktail.

People kept telling me that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I fully recommend this venue.

Wonderful place to get married especially in the fall, our guests had an amazing time as did we. The classy yet rustic decor was perfect for us and the food was amazing...we keep getting wonderful feedback from our guests and more than one had said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. This venue is a family run establishment and they only do one wedding a day so you don't feel rushed and the staff really makes it all about you.

Lindsey and the Farmstead staff were just great to work with. I can honestly say that we had the prefect day. Not only we have prefect weather but nothing went wrong. Lindsey made My husband and I feel very comfortable along with our family and friends. She was just great to work with. We had a lot of items that we wanted as part of our wedding and not one thing was forgotten or put in the wrong place. Just a great experience. We would recommend the Farmstead to anyone.

The staff at Farmstead really went out of their way to make everything for our wedding wonderful. Lindsay was incredibly helpful every step of the way, quick to answer questions and eager to go the extra mile to accommodate small details for our wedding. The outdoor setting is absolutely beautiful. Inside, the exposed beams help to set a rustic but elegant setting. What really made this venue stand out was the attention they give each wedding. They only host one wedding at a time.

The food was excellent, and another area they were very willing to make accommodations. My mother is a vegetarian, and they were able to make the soup with a vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. They had no problem with us using another bakery for the cake.

I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who was looking for a wedding venue!!!

We had our wedding at the Farmstead on October 20th. Everything was perfect! Lindsey was the event director and she did a wonderful job. The food was great and everything looked beautiful. It was the perfect setting for our fall wedding.

Food: awesome, guests still rave about it and it was the best I've had at any large event (beyond our expectations) and we didn't choose the Farmstead for the food. The entrees, hors devours, and cake were all out of this world.

Ceremony and reception site: everything I wanted as a little girl:) we found the Farmstead by accident driving past it and instantly fell in love with the gazebo and grounds. The gazebo was the perfect setting for our outdoor ceremony as it sits on a pond with lush trees and grounds all around it. There were swans swimming behind it on our wedding day! The Carriage House is a refurbished barn that has many natural elements built into the decor (xposed wood beams) and has 3 rooms for guests to enjoy. The grand stone fireplace inside makes a great back drop for pictures or a ceremony in case it rains.

Staff: Lindsey ROCKS!! She is more organized than me and I am. True type "A". She handled every request, guided everyone through each part of the day, and set the cocktail hour and reception decor just as I asked and enhanced some options better than I could have. She exceeded my expectations and was the nicest person to work with:) The staff serving my guests were also pleasant, helpful, diligent and attentive- they have an awesome team!!

I highly recommend the Farmstead- the value of what we purchased was well worth every single penny and they wer very reasonable in price.

The grounds are beautiful and the atmosphere is rustic and relaxed, yet elegant. Lindsey was wonderful to work with and helped us organize everything and keep everything running smoothly on the wedding day. The staff was very relaxed and accommodating and we received so many compliments on the food and service. They kept the tables very clean and uncluttered throughout the evening. Since they only do one wedding per day, we were able to arrive as early as we wanted to before the ceremony, which really helped the day flow. Also, for a north Jersey wedding venue, the value for the money was exceptional.

They were there every step of the way!! The week before my wedding was hurricane irene and the farmstead was without power for almost 5 days! They went out of there way to insure that if they did not get power back in time that my wedding would still be just as amazing! Luckly they did get power back and everything was stunning! Could not have asked for more!!! The place is stunning and the ground are breathtaking!

The Phoebus family was absolutely amazing! It ended up raining, but it was truly beautiful. The staff was so helpful and flexible at making our day so special! Thank you for the best day of our lives!!!

Our wedding was beyond what we hoped for. The food was amazing and presented beautifully. The staff went above and beyond to take care of any requests. The even planner Lindsey makes planning a joy and so easy.

Having our wedding here was a wonderful experience. Lindsay is very easy to work with and really took charge the day of the wedding. I had nothing to worry about besides getting ready. The food was fantastic and came in large portions. Our guests really enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and drinks.

We loved our wedding at the Farmstead! Day of, the Farmstead staff were incredibly responsive, always available and communicative throughout. We arrived in the morning to set up, had access to the facilities all day, and even dropped off decor the day before. Everything was boxed up for us to pick up the next day and they handled all the garbage and boxing up our cake. Food and drink service was exceptional. Communication initially was somewhat lacking but they answered every single one of our questions in detail when needed. Loved the Farmstead and so did our guests- would recommend to all!

Needless to say the pandemic threw a wrench into our wedding plans, but the Farmstead worked with us every step of the way and helped us plan the most gorgeous micro wedding so we could still be married on our original date. The day was perfect- Noel made everything so beautiful we didn’t care that we couldn’t make use of the gorgeous inside this venue has to offer. From set up to clean up we all had an amazing and seamless experience, I loved every minute of it.

Lindsey, Noelle, and Andrew were wonderful at allowing us to experience the perfect day. They were willing to allow us to choose the beer we would like and even allowed us to give a recipe for an appetizer that we liked.

Farmstead golf and country club was a beautiful wedding venue. The outdoor ceremony space instantly sold is. The golf course is beautiful and had so many photo spots. Inside, the exposed beams give it a rustic feel, and the chandeliers tie together the room for the perfect reception space. The food was FANTASTIC. It was so difficult to choose cocktail hour choices because everything sounded so mouthwatering. The dinner was exceptional and I had guests wanting to ask for seconds. Throughout the process, Lindsey was very responsive and answered every question I had via email. But the star of the Farmstead is the maitre de, Noelle. She made the wedding day absolutely seamless. From honoring my request for fried food the morning of the wedding, to making sure I knew how quickly to walk down the aisle, she was a dream. I felt no stress on my wedding day because she took care of absolutely everything!!

Outside area: The venue is beautiful. When you drive onto the property, you are welcomed with a view of the pond and the ceremony area in the distance. This venue is rustic and charming. The outside property has willow trees and a pond so doesn't "scream" golf course. The ceremony space sits on "peninsula" of land surrounded by the pond. There is a gazebo and the ceremony area is well maintained and landscaped. We definitely loved this area for our ceremony. We had a beautiful ceremony outside and got gorgeous pictures.

Reception area: The building where the reception is held is rustic with dark wood accents. There is hardwood dance floor. The gold chiavari chairs look new and add to the elegance of the space.

Reponsiveness: When we first visited the venue, we met with Andrew and then Lindsey. They were friendly yet casual; they were not pretentious like some venues. Because we lived far from the venue, we communicated mostly through email and phone. I found it difficult to get a hold of someone at times. Once we booked the venue, I didn't have much contact with the venue. I am a detailed-orientated person and sometimes I found that I needed more information and explanation of the the plan with the reception like timing of ceremony and serving the entrees. The information was not as forthcoming I had wished; I had to ask a lot of questions, but Lindsey did answer my questions and overall the wedding day went smoothly.

Food: The wait staff were great on the wedding day. The food was really good at our tasting and the wedding day is was good as well. They have some good crowd pleasing entrees. I do wish there were some modern updates to the cocktail hour selection but they were all tasty and the guests were happy.
