Fantasy Sound Event Services absolutely blew us away and played a crucial role in making our wedding day unforgettable! From the moment we contacted them, they were professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful.

We knew we wanted a magical ambiance for our reception, and Fantasy Sound went above and beyond to deliver. They expertly handled the hanging of our string lights and decorative elements, transforming the space into something truly enchanting. The personalized projected monogram on the dance floor was a huge hit and added a unique, personal touch that all our guests commented on.

Perfect lighting!

FSE set up the most gorgeous lighting for our wedding at the Palm Event Center. We had round chandeliers with greenery (from the florists) and market lights. They easily accommodated our "vision" of the type of lighting we pictured and executed it perfectly. I would definitely recommend them and work them again.

Awesome DJ - Thank You Glen!

We selected Fantasy Sound as our DJ since they were a preferred vendor and had glowing reviews, and we have to agree! When first deciding on a DJ we had a quick call with two of their DJs and felt a great connection with Glen. We are so thrilled we went with Glen - our prep meetings leading up to the day were so helpful and enjoyable and Glen made us feel so comfortable that he was truly a professional and was going to be amazing. And it really ended up perfectly. He helped put my family at ease, making sure they were prompted when and where to go for toasts, he was so fun meeting my wedding party and doing their reception intros, and across the board he just really read the room to keep the party going smoothly. Our dance floor was filled the WHOLE night which is everything I could have asked for. I am so grateful for Glen, he is not only a great DJ but an amazing master of ceremonies!

Great decor for our wedding reception

We hired Fantasy Sound for our wedding reception in August 2022 at the Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon. Since they are a preferred vendor of Bridges, I felt a sense of ease that they knew the reception venue property well and didn’t have to worry about much.

Fantasy Sound was very professional and responsive during the time leading up to the wedding day. We mostly talked with Lindsay who was amazing.

I know they have a show room that would have been awesome to get to visit but since we live out of state and did most wedding planning remotely, Fantasy Sound ensured we knew all the options and gave us a lot of insight to help us make a decision. We ended up doing the wood wall (3 panels, with our initials), a custom GOBO of our names, and the photo booth. We had the GOBO on the wall above the bar and the photo booth in the adjacent corner. We loved them all and the prices were pretty reasonable for the value it adds!

Professional and Easy to Work With

Fantasy Sound was very easy to work with and with only a few meetings. We met with them early on to discuss our options for decorations, and they were very professional and helpful in the decision-making process. We had no issues at all and the final decorations were as beautiful as we could have hoped and exactly as described! Very much recommend Fantasy Sound for their high-quality decorations and professionalism.

Excellent Wedding DJ Service

Kevin listened to our requirements for the music for our recent wedding in Livermore and he nailed it! He provided us with a list of most requested songs in all genres of music. We took the list and marked it up with what we absolutely did not want and what we preferred. Then we held a meeting with him and fine tuned the list and our desires. He provided excellent choices for background music during the reception dinner and kept everyone dancing throughout the party time. We would hire him again for any future events.

Look no further

Fantasy sound is a one stop shop. We used them for DJ, Lighting, Videography, and Photo Booth. They made everything so easy for us! Darcie and Lindsay in the office are so responsive and on top of everything. The lighting and decor was incredible, better than I could have imagined! Everybody raved about the DJ (Kevin) and music that kept the guests dancing all night. The photo booth was such a fun keepsake for our guests to have memories from our wedding, and we got digital copies of all of them! And the videographers (Brendan and Nolan) made me and my husband so comfortable and were so fun to work with, we can't wait to see the video but we already know it will be incredible. Best decision we made! They worked tirelessly to create the most incredible day for us.

Great Experience!

We used Fantasy Sound for our wedding and they were absolutely wonderful to work with! They were extremely responsive throughout the whole process and were so accommodating when we had to postpone our original 2020 wedding date. We hired them for a DJ, Photobooth, and additional lighting.

Kevin was our DJ and he was fantastic to work with! He did an amazing job MCing our wedding and kept everyone on the dance floor all evening. We wouldn't have changed a thing!

The photobooth and lighting installation was great as well. It was nice to have a vendor that we didn't have to worry about because we trusted they would do an amazing job - and they did!

Excellent team, very professional

Fantasy Sound Events did the lighting, DJing, and sound system for my wedding this past October. And they did an amazing job. They were a preferred vendor at my vendor at my venue and for good reason. The process of working with them was extremely straightforward. The entire planning process was easy and they've worked closely with the florist I chose so all my decor went up without much problem.

Nick, our DJ, was also fantastic. He did an excellent job balancing multiple competing requests from my mom (who wanted ballroom dance music) and from myself (who wanted younger, more hip music). The result was a really lovely, upbeat environment where people of all ages could dance to a variety of songs. The only caveat is that if there's any one song that you like that's on Spotify for example but not released as an mp3, he won't be able to play it because his system is not set up that way.

Overall very pleased with my experience with this team. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend!

Great Company!

We were married on 11/9/19 and our experience with Fantasy Sound was great! We decided to work with them for DJ services after learning that they were a preferred vendor at our venue The Bridges Golf Club, and our DJ was Kevin. We had one phone meeting during the planning process with Kevin during which he explained how we should choose songs and plan for toasts, wedding party announcements, etc. The planning paperwork was very easy to understand and complete, and served as a great guide as to how we should plan our music. We met with Kevin in person one week before our wedding at their beautiful office. Kevin was very professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly nice! We had sent over our paperwork and playlist prior to the meeting, and spent the meeting quickly reviewing everything. Kevin made great suggestions and was able to answer all of our questions. The day of our wedding went so smoothly! Music was played without missing a beat. Announcements and toasts were done wonderfully. Kevin was awesome at reading our guests and what songs they seemed to enjoy more, and played music that wasn’t on our playlist but was definitely what our guests wanted! Overall we would definitely recommend Fantasy Sound!

Fall Evening Classic

Music, draping and lighting can truly illuminate a magical evening. Kevin and the entire Fantasy Sound and Event team were a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail at every point of the planning process was so appreciated with many moving parts. Fantasy Sound was great!

Fantasy Sound did a great job DJing our wedding at The Bridges Golf Club. We worked with Kevin as our DJ, and he was very easy to work with and helpful in our meeting before the wedding with giving us advice on how to make things go smoothly with the timeline and dances. We had gone through a list of music and had made a pretty specific playlist for the wedding, and Kevin did a great job at sticking to the playlist and indeed making sure that everything on the timeline went smoothly the day-of. They also did the sound for our ceremony, which was very easy with just the groom and officiant wearing microphones. We were very pleased with our experience with Fantasy Sound and definitely recommend them for your event.

Professional and Personable

Kevin and staff are professional, efficient, fun and personable. My husband and I got married this June and had a few specific requests. Kevin was really accommodating and asked good questions to make sure the job was done right. After each meeting his staff followed up with everything we needed. On the day of my wedding, Kevin even helped bustle my wedding dress! Kevin reads crowds well and knows exactly how to match the tone you want. I highly recommend Fantasy Sound as a whole.

Beautiful Lighting and Great DJ

Fantasy Sound provided the lighting for the my event services I had beautiful market lights over the dance floor and an amazing wall with our initials. Thank you FSES for making our wedding reception beautiful! This was a recommended vendor by our venue, Palm Event Center. My husband and I attended their showcase to see the lighting and other services they provide in person. We fell in love with the market lights with a tent effect over the ballroom. We also ordered a customized GOBO. We appreciate the patience FSES staff had with us with their prompt email responses and readjusting our quote. Thanks again!

Great Video Experience!

I used Fantasy Sound for their videography and they were so great! At first my fiance was unsure about getting a wedding video, bur we decided to go for it and it is one of the best decisions we made!

I met with them a couple times and they showed us some sample videos, and gave lots of details on what is included. We had about 6 hours of video, and 2 videographers. Before the wedding they were very responsive and helpful with any questions that I had. We worked with Kevin, Nick and Brendan during the planning process. They were all extremely knowledgeable and professional every step of the way.

On the day-of the wedding, Brendan was our lead videographer and did a great job! He arrived right on time, and got straight to work getting detail shots. He also helped direct me on some poses for the video before the wedding. He was great about checking in with me, and make sure he said goodbye before he left. I felt like he really knew what he was doing, and was completely sure that he would get all of the shots I wanted!

I was so surprised by how quickly we got our wedding video back! We got a highlight video as well as the full ceremony, introductions, toasts, special dances, details, and other shots in between the events. I had a couple small changes I wanted to make to the original highlight video, and he made the changes very quickly. I found that there wasn't much I wanted to change, the initial video was so great!

We have already watched our video so many times, and I am so grateful that we have these memories to look back on. There were so many small things that we didn't see or missed on the wedding day, I am so happy that we are able to watch them. If you are unsure about getting a video, DO IT! It was so worth it. Thank you so much to everyone at Fantasy Sound for all of the hard work, and the amazing video!

DJ and Decor in One

Fantasy Sound has everything you need to make your day fun and beautiful! We used them for lighting and decor (we wanted some "altar swag" to help define our ceremony space) and Kevin was our DJ. It was all perfect! The decor was beautiful and Kevin was an awesome DJ. He was the perfect MC - made things happen, kept the events running, played the BEST music all night long. We loved him! They are a perfect, one-stop shop for many things a wedding needs.

Amazing vendor to work with!

I can’t even begin to count how many compliments we received about the music at our wedding. We got married after two cross-country moves and Fantasy Sound worked with us every step of the way. They were so accommodating with our busy schedules and we were comforted to know that we could delegate and that our vision would still be perfect! We are so thankful to have worked with Fantasy Sound Event Services for our wedding. They were recommended by our venue (Wente) and were impressed with their professionalism from start to finish. We used their DJ, lighting and and photobooth services and we could not have been more pleased with our decision. Since we planned our wedding from the east coast, we truly appreciated the prompt email communication with the office team and the flexibility in scheduling meetings (both by phone and in person when we were in town). Fantasy Sound clearly has their DJ services down to a science; their planning packet was detail-oriented and thorough, which made us feel so assured leading up to our wedding day. From our first call with Nick (who we hired as our DJ), his knowledge and experience was evident. He listened closely to our wishes for our ceremony and reception and he helped us design a package that aligned. On the big day, Nick was patient and attentive to ensure everything ran according to our timeline. Very easy to work with this vendor on our additional lighting needs for our wedding! They priced everything out and gave us a good idea of how the logistics go on their end, why things cost a certain amount, where we could save money, etc. I asked for a few different scenarios based on their pricing and availability of chandeliers so I could pick and choose the look I wanted. Everything was seamless and I can see why they're a preferred vendor of our venue and have such great reviews. I would highly recommend their services and having chandeliers as it really adds to the ambiance and sets a nice mood to the festivities!

Easy, great communication and beautifully executed. We brought on Fantasy Sound for ceremony drapes and reception lighting for our recent wedding at Palm Event Center. From planning out exactly what we needed, how pricing would be adjusted and final execution, Darcie was fantastic in helping us set up just what we needed. Though we didn't get to meet any of the team in-person the day-of, the results were phenomenal. Throw in the fact that Fantasy Sound has done countless weddings at Palm and nearby venues, and it's no wonder hiring them was stress-free. We can't recommend them enough for wedding services in the area.

We knew exactly that we wanted to use FSES for our wedding from the moment we laid eyes on their square chandelier that was set up at PEC. Darcie who works at the front desk is friendly, sweet, and does a great job in getting those quotes, contracts, etc in a timely manner. Hands down to our DJ & MC Kevin who was prompt and professional he made our wedding run smoothly and when it was time to dance he kept the party going. Our guest love how the chandelier was right in the middle of the dance floor which made it look magical. They may be pricey but I highly recommend FSES as you'll be amazed of what they have in store for your special day try to attending one of their mixer sessions.

Fantasy Sound were absolutely amazing! From planning stages to our wedding day, they were available to answer any questions we had. Darcie from the office regularly reminded us of any upcoming meetings we had with them or when payment was due (you'll know when you start planning a wedding how much these reminders come in handy!)
Our DJ Kevin was awesome. He got our music taste down perfectly and had our guests on their feet all night. Finally the lighting looked INCREDIBLE. We'd wanted a kind of inside/outside flow for our reception and we went for the bronzy color which created a beautiful sunset feel to the room. All in all I can't fault Fantasy Sound and would recommend them for any big event I was planning. Thank you guys for making our wedding day so wonderful!

We used fantasy sounds for our DJ and our drapery/chandelier! Steve was our DJ, he was awesome! So full of life and played THE best music while focusing on us. The chandelier we had was beautiful and so was our background drapery for our head table!

Father of the Bride: This was one of our best choices hands down. We used Fantasy Sound for both the 30 Day Coordinator and DJ. I never give a rating of 10 so I will have to give them 9.99! Keven and Megan coordinated and managed the Wedding Day Time Line to perfection. The DJ (Kevin) and equipment provided the perfect music sound levels and never once was there a break in dance floor fun. Megan assisted and attended to both the Bride and Groom at every level. Together they orchestrated a memorable event with never ending compliments from attending guests. I, nor my daughter, nor my Son-In-Law had never met nor do we know anyone at Fantasy Sound but I again will say, this was one of our best decisions to a perfectly executed wedding. Worth every penny with not one flaw throughout the entire process. Great job Kevin and Megan and THANK YOU.

We their lightning service for our wedding. They did such an amazing job with GOBO Pattern Wash, cake spot light and Custom Monogram. They made the barrel room stunning!! We got so much compliments from our guests that our reception is like the dining hall in Hogwarts :) They're so professional, responsive and easy to work with. We'd highly recommend them for anyone who's looking for lightning service for their events :)

We loved the whole experience working with Fantasy Sound and Nick was an amazing DJ. They were recommended by our venue and they worked out many of the details between them for the setup (we choose to get the double rectangular chandelier) and all the color coordination which reduced our work. Nick was incredible, he could read the room and played the perfect tunes for our crowd. Highly recommend!!!

The Fantasy Sound lighting and DJ team were simply incredible to work with! Yesterday at our wedding, Nick was our DJ and he literally kept the dance floor packed from the first dance to the last song. We received countless compliments that it was the best playlist and music our guests had ever heard at a wedding. Kevin from Fantasy Sound helped make our weeding great! He met with us just before the wedding to make sure everything was planned out and in place. The wedding day went perfectly and Kevin had everyone dancing all night!

We loved working with Fantasy sound and events. They made the process so easy with handouts to plan the ceremony and music throughout the wedding. The DJ, Nick, was very friendly and did an awesome job. We had so many compliments on the great playlist, I never left the dance floor and all of our guests danced throughout the night. The lighting was beautiful as well. We definitely recommend them.

Fantasy Sound Event recently did an amazing job with our wedding reception. The uplighting was beautiful, and Nick's DJ'ing was superb. We didn't have time to make a list of songstress to play, instead choosing to discuss the kinds of songs we liked, and he hit it spot on. We couldn't have asked for a more seamless experience, and we highly recommend them!

Fantasy sound events were one of the easier vendors I had worked with and I'm glad I had chosen them. Living 2 hours away from Pleasanton, it was really hard to meet with vendors on the days I had off. Luckily, I was able to talk to Nick over the phone and share with him the ideas I had in mind along with my Pinterest inspirations. I didn't get to see everything until the day of and it was absolutely everything I imagined - from the drapery to the chandelier lighting and the monogram GOBO. It completed the look of the entire venue.

We used fantasy for our custom monogram, chandelier, and DJ services. All of our guests were amazed about the chandelier and it totally made our dance floor glisten! The custom monogram was done exactly the way we designed it and DJ Nick is awesome!

Kevin and his team are incredible!! We worked with Fantasy Sound for our lighting and decor and had Kevin as our DJ and boy are we glad we did!! The lighting and decor seriously made the venue perfect! The venue is already beautiful, but adding those little details took it to another level! We had so many compliments on all of it! As for Kevin being our DJ, he was AMAZING!! Everyone loved his style and people were on the dance floor the entire time! Thank you so much Kevin and team for everything you guys did!! We really appreciated it and you all were a big part in making our wedding dreams come true! I promise those who book Fantasy Sound will NOT be disappointed!!

Fantasy sound was my vendor for DJ, Lighting and Photo Booth at my wedding for Casa Real.
They were absolutely amazing to work with and made everything so easy! My wedding looked absolutely spectacular from the lighting to the chandeliers they hung! Kevin was my DJ and did an outstanding job. My guests were dancing all night and Kevin made sure the evening flowed as planned. The photo booth was also a hit with the guests. I had some friends who spent the majority of the night there. Its such a fun thing to have and is also a nice memento that your guests get to take home a picture strip of their fun in the photo booth. The bride and groom receive a flash drive of the photos a few weeks after the wedding and it was really fun to look through the pictures and see how much fun our guests had. Its also really useful if anyone lost the pics or just wants a bigger version of the pictures they took, you can send it to them. I would recommend Fantasy Sound to anyone and its so nice that they do lighting, DJ, and Photo Booth because it is basically a one stop shop for everything wedding! Not a single regret or complaint about using them for my wedding :) Well worth the price. You definitely get what you pay for!!

Fantasy Sound was one of the preferred wedding vendors for weddings held at Wente. Now I know why! We worked with Nick for pre-planning (Darcie also helped!) and he was our DJ for the wedding. He was great. During our planning meetings, he knew the layout of the property and was able to give us advice on what he had seen that worked really well. He let us give as many, or as few songs as we wanted for the reception and played them in an order that went with the mood. When the schedule shifted a bit, he made sure to check in with us so that everyone was on the same page with the adjustments. Our guests danced the entire time (some even got up to dance to the dinner music!) and had so much fun. If you want a vendor with loads of experience to make your day stress free, go with Fantasy Sound! And choose Nick!

Kevin from Fantasy Sound is amazing!
We had an outside reception at Purple Orchid and Kevin was the MC and DJ and made our night perfect!
The music was great! Everything was set up perfect and we were able to incorporate a slide show as well.
He did everything we asked for and kept the vibe going! We were happy to see everyone out dancing and having a great time.
Working with Kevin was like working with your close friend, not a vendor.
Highly recommend them.

There is a reason why Fantasy Sound Event Services are rated high and a preferred vendor. They are very professional and responsive. We booked lighting and DJ services with them.

Lighting: Our feel for our wedding was very clean, simple and romantic. We loved our venue the way it was (Palm Event Center, Pleasanton) but wanted to add our touches. We as a couple always imagined a dance floor with lanterns. I must admit, from time to time, I was worried about how it would turn out...but they did an amazing job of not over-doing it and changing the sizes of the lanterns. We also used them for the GOBO splash of our names....it was the perfect touch and they suggested it on the dancefloor, which came out nicely.

DJ: We had shopped around for a DJ and noticed all the great reviews on yelp and facebook. Our venue required the DJ to be the MC as well, so we knew it was important to find the right one. FSEE has a DJ meet and greet which gives you the opportunity to talk with the DJ's and make your choice. We chose NIck and he was AWESOME!! Not only did he play music from our playlist/genre, he was an engaging MC and very organized. One element to your wedding is the DJ/MC...if you have the right one, you don't worry about how things will flow. Nick also worked with us on song selection and music entrances. My husband wanted our entrance a certain way with songs and Nick fulfilled!!!

I would also like to add that this vendor is professional! They keep you on track for deadlines and very responsive! Crystal was always available to answer my questions whether a complex one or simple one.

I believe Fantasy Sound is the best there is out there! Thank you for making our wedding memorable!!!

My wife & I organized my daughter's wedding which was held on 6/25/15.
We selected Fantasy Sound Services for our Lighting, Drapery & Custom Monogram GOBO wash with their names.
They were fantastic to work with and they did a superb job. Everyone was extremely complimentary with everything they did. The candlelight round Chandeliers were beautiful.
We worked with Kevin Dennis, the Owner, and he was exceptional to work with. We provided ideas of what we wanted and he provided his ideas and at the end of the day what Fantasy did was beautiful and extremely memorable.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Fantasy Sound Services for your upcoming Wedding.
The entire crew at Fantasy were EXCEPTIONAL!! The Best!

We found Fantasy Sound Event Services through our venue, as they are one of the preferred vendors at the Palm Event Center. I do not have enough good things to say about them! We chose Nick as our DJ, as we had read many reviews saying he is the best- and we are SO happy we picked him! Nick is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helped to create our perfect evening. He really knows what he is doing, and he made sure every little detail went smoothly- from the ceremony, cocktail hour to the reception- everything was perfect! I HIGHLY recommend Fantasy Sound and Nick if you are looking for a fabulous DJ and MC!

My husband and I were recently married on 2/21/15 at Casa Real and worked with the Fantasy Sound team for our custom gobo projection and specialty spot and chandelier lighting.

We met Fantasy Sound back in October and immediately knew from their visual displays that we wanted to work with them. The team was very thorough in asking what specifically we were looking for and walking us through the process for finalizing our agreement. Fantasy Sound was wonderful in helping us set up a “must have” and ‘nice to have” estimate for budgeting purposes. Also, after leaving our first meeting, my husband and I were allowed the time to contemplate what we really wanted and never felt pressured or obligated to purchase anything.
Closer to the event, we met with the Fantasy Sound team to go over final details of the big day. We discussed specific placement of spot lights and the chandeliers, to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted.

Our event turned out beautifully and many guests commented that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Had it not been for the proficiency and vision offered by Fantasy Sound, I know we wouldn't have achieved the same outcome. Thanks to the amazing team that was involved!!

After seeing photos of Fantasy Sound's beaded chandelier used at our venue, Palm Event Center, we decided we had to rent one as a "splurge" for our wedding. And we're so happy we did! The 12 foot by 12 foot chandelier framed the dance floor perfectly, and added just the right amount of sparkle. Our decor was simple and the chandelier added that wow factor. We used white light because we wanted to brighten up the ballroom a bit, and it was perfect for us.
Also, the booking process was super simple, and Fantasy Sound is great about doing business remotely through email and by phone, for the busy bride.

We went with Fantasy Sound initially because of the lighting package we scored through Casa Real. We choose to go with them for their DJ services due to their excellent customer service and professionalism. I worked with Dana on everything leading up to the wedding and I emailed her more times than I can count! It had to have exceeded the 100 mark. She is stellar at her job and extremely on top of it. Once we ironed out all of the details we were all set to meet with some of the DJs at their meet and greet night, but it was really hard for my husband and I to get their during the week due to our work schedules. Instead we met with Nick at our preliminary meeting and I requested him as our day of DJ. Nick is so chill, he reminds me of my husband. I am on the other hand am the polar opposite of that and it was very clear to me that Nick knew how to handle a bride like myself. Out of everything we planned my husband and I were the most neurotic when it came to the music. We literally handpicked every song. I had a certain song I wanted to walk down the aisle to, as most brides do, but I needed the doors to open at a specific mark and I wasn't willing to accept that it might not happen. Nick made it happen. That was not the only song I requested be started at a certain time and again, Nick made it all happen. He's just so seasoned it does this without even missing a beat. He also saved the day and toasted my husband and I when the best man went on a tangent and forgot to do so. lol Good looking out Nick! Their prices are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for folks. I'm so glad I went with them rather than saving $200/$300 and going with one of their competitors. I had no worries because I knew I was in good hands.

Fantasy Sound was awesome. Made my life super easy, were responsive and professional through all my time planning and everything was perfect. They just did my wedding this saturday and the chandeliers, lights, monogram gobo, ceremony lighting and dance floor wash was all perfect.

The double crystal beaded chandeliers were the talk of the wedding and worth every penny. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for lighting. Everyone was super helpful and they worked with my florist and venue which simplified things for me (thats priceless to a bride who is planning an event of this scale with so many moving parts). Love, Love LOVE!!

Fantasy Sound works closely with Palm Event Center, so we chose Nick as our DJ 2 months before the wedding! We had a bad experience with our other DJ (do NOT recommend a family friend, best to go with professionals), and it was great to work with someone familiar with our venue and knew exactly how things work. We attended their DJ meet and greet, which was a great way to meet all of the DJ's and learn about the different packages offered. Nick was so easy to talk to, was professional, responsive, and played all the songs we wanted and none that we didn't!

Because they are a preferred vendor, we used Fantasy Sound to also add GOBO lighting, drapery, and chandeliers to the reception space. WOW! I walked into the reception and was blown away - it was so much more than I ever could have imagined! I had worked closely with Lindsay during this part and she was so knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and overall was amazing to work with.

Because of Fantasy Sound, my wedding turned out so beautiful and I cannot express how happy I am to have chosen them! The entire staff is fantastic and I would absolutely recommend Fantasy Sound!

Fantasy Sound was one of the preferred vendors at our wedding venue for lighting. They were the most affordable. They are very professional and were responsive to all my emails. They had so many GOBO designs and colors to choose from. Luckily they were very familiar with our venue, and they had many pictures of past weddings they've done. So it was helpful in envisioning what our day would look like. Lighting made such a huge difference in the overall ambiance of the wedding venue, it made a beautiful venue even more spectacular.

We worked with Fantasy Sound for our wedding in May, 2012. They provided the DJ-ing along with helping us keep the schedule along with the Palm Event Center. They also provided the lighting for the event, and all their services and work were amazing.

We had Nick be our DJ. He is wonderful, and helped us to pick all the music for the various parts of the ceremony/reception. We really had no idea what we wanted playing during the bouquet toss, cake cutting, etc, and he provided great alternatives and advice.

He did a great job at the event too. He announced us and handled our first dance/father daughter dance perfectly. He also executed our specific requests perfectly - selecting fabulous musical songs for pre-ceremony, which was my request, making sure we didn't have any songs we didn't want during the reception (nothing with a specific dance, ie chicken dance, macarena, YMCA, etc). I literally felt like I was at the perfect dance club - all my favorite songs played all night!

The lighting was magnificent as well. We added this on to the package with only a couple months before the event and they didn't blink an eye. We were able to design our own monogram, and they executed it perfectly. The lighting over all the tables was perfect as well - they provided the perfect ambiance for our event. I was worried the lighting wouldn't make a huge difference at the Palm event center during May, but it was fabulous and made the evening feel more sophisticated and special.

Everyone at Fantasy was great to work with and replied back quickly and were able to handle everything we asked for. I would recommend them to anyone.

Wow. Best DJ service ever! In the early stages of wedding planning, my groom and I knew we needed to have a good DJ at our wedding – because having good music is so key to ensuring that your guests have a good time. We had attended a wedding several months earlier, and the bride and groom had hired the best DJ I had ever seen. I had never been to a wedding before where the music was so good, no one ever wanted to take a break from the dancing! I asked the bride who her DJ was, and she told me they hired Nick from Fantasy Sound. She had nothing but great things to say about Nick and Fantasy Sound. So naturally, I called Fantasy Sound to hire Nick to do our wedding. Unfortunately, Nick was not available for our wedding date. We were disappointed, but Fantasy Sound had another DJ who was available for our date –DJ Marshall. Wow! I am so glad we hired him, because he was just as awesome as Nick. (I have reason to believe all of their DJ’s are probably spectacular). The process we went through with Fantasy Sound was so professional, enjoyable, and seamless. Their experience in the industry speaks volumes. I had two meetings with them before our wedding, and we went over everything. There were so many things that I did not even think of, that they were so well prepared for. They went through every song choice with us, from the pre-ceremony music, to the very last song. I cannot tell you how valuable this attention to detail is. Our wedding guests danced all night, and had so much fun! I had so many guests tell me they did not want to take any breaks from dancing, because the music was so good…just what I wanted (and had remembered from the other wedding). Marshall was the perfect DJ! We could not have imagined anything better!

Thanks to Kevin and his team for making my wedding just perfect! I was so lucky to actually have Kevin as my DJ. Kevin is very professional and most important of all, experienced. He's super easy going and we really felt as ease having him at the wedding. Two of our friends that had just gotten married had used Kevin, so he was first on our list to call for our wedding. We had an acoustic guitarist for the ceremony and Kevin was able to bring his equipment outside so everyone could hear everything. Everything was great!! Thanks again!!

They helped us plan all the lighting for the wedding, and the evening was amazing! They recommended all the right colors that helped create the mood that we were hoping for - romantic and elegant! They were on time and all the lights were in place before the other vendors arrived at the venue. We found Fantasy Sound via our wedding venue. We hired them for special lighting for our wedding. They respond quickly to emails/calls, provided excellent examples, and met our special needs. We used them for 2 monograms (one in the ceremony room and another in the reception room), gobo design on the dance floor, chandliers, and extra lighting. We recently booked Nick from Fantasy Sound for our wedding on July 29th and it was AMAZING! We booked both our DJ And lighting through Fantasy Sound and they made our wedding something to remember! From start to finish the whole Fantasy Sound crew was such a pleasure to work with. They're ease and professionalism took a lot of worry off of my shoulders during what can be a very stressful, busy time (even though I LOVED planning!). Not only did Nick have our guests up and dancing all night but he stuck completely to schedule the day of the wedding and, as he mentioned in our first meeting, it's not just his job to play music, it's to make sure the whole event runs smoothly. Nick at Fantasy Sound was the highlight of the wedding. We had a few meetings with him before the event to discuss lighting options and his DJ set up. He got the lighting perfect!! Everything looked great in person and in pictures. Great job in both the ceremony room and the reception room!

DJ Nick started with music in the ceremony room with was perfect. Helped us pick songs for some of it, and we made decisions like bride walking down the isle song. With that he nailed the ceremony. Then, came the reception, which was clearly his gig. We gave him a list of 20-30 songs, which gave him an idea of the style of music we were hoping for. He had control of everything for 3 hours and we did the cake cutting, bouquet tosses, and (most importantly) DANCING. All 205 guests got up and danced fast, slow, and the Cupid Shuffle. My grandpa who is 80+ said the music was perfect and he even did the Waltz. Also, the majority of guests were 21-30 yrs. old and they danced for hours.

We had a great time because it was our wedding, but our guests had an amazing time because Nick did a great job all night!! 5 Stars!!!

Kevin did such an amazing job throughout the whole wedding. We definitely had an adventure with the weather that day and he made sure to always keep everything going.

The only bummer we ran in to is that we had paid for a gobo and uplights of which neither were used. It would have been nice if they had moved them inside when the reception moved since we had paid for them but to tell you the truth I didn't even notice until after the fact.

Overall, with the delays and moving around I have to say that Kevin did an absolutely amazing job and we would hire him again in a heartbeat as well as recommend him and fantasy sounds to anyone planning a wedding.

I got married at the Palm Event Center in May 2011. We used Fantasy Sound for our DJ and Videographer. They are the absolute BEST! The month prior to our wedding they made sure we were on track with our meetings and gave us great advice about what works/doesn’t work. Fantasy Sound really pays attention to all the details and they genuinely want to make your day as special as possible.

We used Nick as our DJ and he was wonderful! He played all the songs we requested and kept everyone on the dance floor! Nick also made sure we were on schedule and that we knew when each event was coming up (i.e. the father daughter dance, cake cutting, etc) - that really made a huge impact! The day of the wedding is so hectic and because of Nick our schedule was one less thing we had to worry about. Unbelievable

Our videographers were also amazing! They made sure to capture all our requested moments and did whatever it took to get our shots - they would literally lay in the dirt make sure they got the perfect shot. It was unbelievable! They make you feel so comfortable that you forget their HD camera is on you.

I truly enjoyed working with everyone at Fantasy Sound and would highly recommend them to everyone!

We booked Kevin as our DJ for our May 21st wedding and he was AMAZING!! He is so easy to work with and incredibly accommodating! He really listens to what you want and will deliver on all of it.

We met with him twice leading up to the wedding and you can tell he knows what he's a professional - every appointment was easy, he is completely prepared in advance (which I so appreciated!!) and keeps great notes of the meeting to make sure he captures everything you want. I left both meetings completely confident! Not to mention his staff is great to work with - they follow up with you on scheduled meetings and are on top of it!

The wedding could not have gone better - he played every song we asked, left out the songs we weren't crazy about, and rolled with the punches with all of our on-the-spot requests. I knew we didn't have to worry about anything with Kevin!!

I highly highly recommend him and Fantasy Sound!

Wedding was December 19, 2010. Gabby Wieman was absolutely fantastic. She helped us with planning and timing because we were not familiar with all the details of the whens and wheres of a wedding. She went above and beyond to make sure the music was to our liking. She helped us pick music and everyone had a great time dancing!Everything about the music and announcements was professional. Volume was great because during dinner you could hear the music but did not have to shout to have a conversation. I think the value was excellent!

There was some unfortunate drama at the end of the wedding and Gabby helped keep things running smoothly and was very supportive and helpful. We really appreciated her.

Definitely would use your services again if needed a DJ and will recommend you to others.

Four years ago, Kevin provided music for our daughter's wedding at the Palm Event Center and we thought he was amazing. When our second daughter announced her engagement, we called Fantasy Sound right away. Kevin was already booked, so we signed a contract to use Nicholas Lehr from Fantasy Sound for her July 3 wedding.

Nick was the perfect DJ. In the pre-wedding meetings he was organized, helped the bride and groom with their music lists, and was calming and comforting. As the mother of the bride, I could sense that this was one part of the wedding that I did not have to worry about.

As it turned out, many things went wrong with the reception, but Nick was solid and kept the wheels on things. He was cheerful, organized, and kept the evening going smoothly. When the wedding coordinator was missing, he organized the bridal party and got them introduced without a hitch.

Great music, great personality...everyone was on their feet dancing. The bride and groom loved him, the mother of the bride loved him, and the guests at the reception all talked about his wonderful demeanor. After two very successful weddings with them, I can wholeheartedly recommend Fantasy Sound as THE BEST.

We worked with Advantage Bridal and they are an absolutely wonderful to work with and very professional. They were flexible and helpful in helping us pick designs. Their designs are amazing can't believe ! The cake turned out exactly how we wanted it. The flowers on the cake were amazing! We decided on white cake with lemon and raspberry cream and some decorative flowers. The cake tasted wonderful. I recommend them to all my friends.

Nick was our DJ and he was great! He played good music, every complimented me afterward on how great our music was. I asked him to play several songs during the dancing and he played every single one with perfect timing. He also came up to us several time throughout the evening making sure everything was okay and if we needed anything. We also used Fantasy sound for our lighting and they did a great job. Everything looked great and I would highly recommend choosing them for your DJ services and lighting!

Excellent service -- Nick was very flexible about meeting with us, since we lived over an hour away. He let us do most things over e-mail. We picked a couple of songs (maybe 20) that we really liked, and he was able to suggest a bunch of other songs that fit perfectly. The best thing about Nick was that he was really able to let us be as involved (or uninvolved) in the music selection as we wanted to be, and he still managed to keep all the guests on the dance floor for hours during the reception. People were actually falling off the dance floor the whole night, it was so crowded! And we loved EVERY song he played. Not joking, it actually seemed like he had known us for years and knew everything we would want to hear on our wedding day. We were very pleased -- Fantasy Sound is pretty average in price (not super cheap, but not super expensive either), but the service is truly superior.

We worked with Kevin from Fantasy Sound and he did a wonderful job. In the beginning stages he made it very easy for us to make all of our music selections and was available via email and in person to meet. On the day of i was overly impressed with the way he kept our reception going and keeping me on our timeline. I greatly appeciated it because when you are a bride you have no concept of time. Last minute Kevin and his crew were even able to make us our personal gobo because the company we were working with didn't come through. It looked so amazing on our dance floor and above the bar. Our dance floor was never empty and I think he definitly kept the party going. Great job and I would recommend them to anyone!!

The DJ and the two videographers at our wedding were fantastic! At first I was hesitant to get a videographer, but my mom insisted - and I am so glad she did! Though we haven't seen the DVD of our wedding yet, as it was just a couple of weeks ago, I am sure it will be fantastic. The guys at Fantasy Sound also created a picture slideshow of my husband and I as we were growing up, which was played at the ceremony. It was a hit!

Our DJ was great - very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend Fantasy Sound!

Matt was great to work with and very organized. Guests loved him, when they requested a song they heard it right away, they didn't have to wait half the night to hear their request. Ran the show, so we didn't have to worry about anything that night, but always kept us in the loop.

We hired Fantasy Sound Event Services shortly after becoming engaged. Besides all of the fantastic reviews that we had come across on several platforms, the fact that they were ever so accommodating was a huge benefit for us in making the huge decision to entrust FSE with our dreams and hopes for a fabulous wedding day. A contract was drafted, but of course, I made several additions within the next 16 months. Remember: You can always add on but you cannot take away! That being said, be sure to really know your vision. In the end, we contracted the following with FSE: DJ Nick, Ceremony Music, Reception Music and MC-ing, Photo Booth with unlimited print-outs for our guests and a "Green Shrub Backdrop" (GUYS- DO THIS IT MAKES A WOLRD OF DIFFERENCE!), 3 backdrop wood walls with our "C&P" letters on it, uplighting, cake spot, and custom monogram lighting on the floor for our huge ceremony space, and we also transformed our ceremony space into a kid's play area where we had contracted from FSE a screen, projector, and a speaker for movies and video games for the kids during the reception. The administrative staff was so fabulous with their kindness and communications. They were quick and polite with all my crazy questions- some of which I'm sure I asked twice! Nick, our DJ, was so great and accommodating for our two meetings regarding which songs we wanted, didn't want, etc. It was clear that his goal was to make sure we were happy, and boy was that met x-infinity! My husband and I had such a great time, and with the help of FSE they truly brought our vision to life. About a week or so after the wedding, we received a piece of mail from FSE which enclosed a thank you note (No, THANK YOU!), a USB drive of every single photo taken at our photo booth, and our custom made monogram piece. We are SO happy!

We hired Fantasy Sound for our DJ, lighting, and photobooth for our wedding at Nella Terra Cellars on September 15th, 2017. Kevin Dennis was our DJ. Darcie was our primary contact in the office. We were referred to Fantasy Sound from the venue and we were so glad that we were!

From our first meeting with Kevin, he made us feel at ease about the whole process. It is clear that Fantasy Sound is an incredibly professional company. Kevin listened to help understand the vision for our reception, and answered all of our questions. His guidance from experience was invaluable to our planning. Kevin personally edited a cutting of our first dance song so we could practice in advance. Darcie helped counsel us through the photobooth planning process, including our constant switching of where we wanted it to be placed. Endless thanks for their flexibility.

On the day, Kevin was present and professional. He made me (Kevin, the groom) feel perfectly at ease when he put a microphone on me for the ceremony, and everything sounded great. The reception was absolutely made by Kevin. Not only did he keep things running smoothly and on time, but several guests commented that it was the best reception dance music they had ever heard, and a few asked for the playlist that he had put together.

We are so glad we hired Kevin to be our DJ, and for Fantasy Sound for helping to provide the perfect wedding. Thank you!

We only used their lighting services. Nick was super nice and patient as we went through all the decorative options. I really have no compliants at all. We needed a little bit of handholding and needed some advice on what looked good. Nick provided great advice and didn't push us to get extra things that we didn't need. On the wedding day, the venue looked absolutely fabulous with the lighting and chandeliers that we chose. It really transformed our venue to a beautiful reception.

Great company for wedding decor!

We used Fantasy Sound for decoration purposes. We rented the wood panel wall with our initials and were originally going to use it as a backdrop at our sweetheart table. Then we had to move our ceremony & reception outdoors and were only allowed 50 guests at the ceremony and 30 at the reception. Due to 20 of our guests having to leave after the ceremony, we decided to use the wall as a photo booth where we could take pictures with those guests as they left the venue. We also had to move our delivery time frame up due to our ceremony time moving from 4 to 3 pm. We added 2 wine barrels to help frame the wall and use as a table top for our flower decorations. While at our ceremony rehearsal, our photographer suggested we change the original placement to a different area due to lighting. Fantasy Sound was very easy going about changing the time of delivery and placement, as well as adding the barrels to the contract. Megan was fantastic to work with as well, very nice, informative, and was the one who suggested the wine barrels!
The only issue that occurred during set up was that the items were supposed to be delivered and set up at 1 pm. They arrived at 1:45 pm. My mother waited for them instead of getting ready to make sure that they knew the change in placement. While that was a little frustrating, the wall was set up by the 3 pm ceremony.
Other than that, we highly recommend Fantasy Sound for any decorations you need for your special day.

Stuck with us through 3 date changes

As the case with many Covid weddings, our wedding date changed multiple times. Fantasy Sound stuck with us through 3 date changes as well as a venue change. They were always very responsive and professional. We had a lot of little changes along the way and they were happy to accommodate those changes.

Kevin was our DJ and was awesome. He took the time to come see our new venue beforehand since he had never seen it before. His communication was great. He followed our playlist recommendations very closely and was great at sensing the vibe of our guests during the reception. He played some songs not on our list (which we agreed to beforehand), and they were songs that got people excitedly out to the dance floor.

All in all we would highly recommend Fantasy Sound!

Easy to work with and very responsive

I had an in-person consultation with Kevin about 9 months before my wedding. He went over many different aspects with me and gave me lots of pointers based on my budget. Kevin was very easy-going and respectful of my budget. After my meeting with Kevin, I primarily connected with Megan and Kaitlin. They were always extremely responsive and quick with giving me estimates. I'm sure there are 20 estimates for me because I changed my mind so many times. They were always eager to help and sent pictures of things I couldn't imagine. On the day of my wedding, they coordinated solely with the venue and I did not need to worry about anything!

We are using them for the chandelier and even though it is expensive, it is worth every penny. Every I see pictures of the Palm Event Center with the big chandelier and I can't help, but fall in love. It is what sets the reception room and because of its beauty not a lot of other decor is needed. I can't wait for our guests to be awestruck by it like I've been.

Our big day is three months away but I can already tell you picking the Palm Event Center has been one of our best decisions! We're both in the hospitality industry so we have super high standards, and the staff at PEC keeps exceeding our expectations. Jade and her team are SO responsive and accommodating, as well as organized, knowledgable and professional. Fantasy Sound did a great job on our wedding day...love all the different styles of lighting and background designs available to us. Making it easy and stress free to decide on all our choices. Dana helped us through out the months making sure we approved all the proofs for our monogram names and such before going forward with the final results. Fantasy Sound works closely with Casa Real, so we had them add lighting to both our ceremony & reception. They are friendly and easy to work with, and offers MANY options to choose from. We had gobo splashes of light with awesome designs on the wall, as the ceremony aisle on the floor, as well as our dance floor, with a couple spotlights & chandelier here and there.

Prices can add up quickly here and there, but if you want to splurge, add more chandeliers, lights, and drapery and you won't be disappointed.

We had a DJ package as well, and Nick did a fabulous job as our DJ. He was easy to talk to, and we had a good time working with each other. He wasn't able to play a lot of the songs our guests wanted (we asked guests to write a song in their RSVP), but Nick did a good job playing the right songs to the crowd on the dance floor.

Nick is very receptive of the crowd and he'll definitely make your wedding pop. You may even be surprised to see which one of your relatives went out on the dance floor!

We got married in October 2016 and had a great experience with Fantasy Sound. Nick was our DJ, and was the perfect mix of "commanding enough to get everyone's attention for an announcement" without dominating the night or taking the focus off of whatever was happening. We provided him with a long list of song requests from our guests (we had a request line on the RSVP!) and he was great at choosing songs that everyone was excited to dance to. We had many comments about how great he was! He also handled the microphones for our ceremony flawlessly (no feedback, perfect sound level, etc). The lighting that Fantasy Sound set up for our reception was also really beautiful in the space (market lights, up-lights, and the rustic candle chandeliers), we were really pleased. Value-wise they were on par with other places that we checked, so not a great deal but also not over-priced. All-around a great experience!

Fantasy Sounds is an approved vendor at our venue so naturally we wanted to check them out. Initially, we were only planning on getting the lighting and decorations from them. However, since they usually offer meet-and-greet sessions with their DJ's, we decided to check it out since we already had an appointment for the lighting+decor. That's when we met Steve. After talking with him a bit, my wife and I agreed that we found our DJ and MC. He really knows his stuff! We were able to talk to him about the kind of music we wanted and when we mentioned a song title, he pretty much went a cappella for us on the spot. Fun guy to work with and very accommodating! Needless to say, we all had a blast at the wedding!

Nick helped us figure out the lighting and decor. He was really nice and was patient with us as we tried to figure everything out. He gave us a lot of good insight on what worked and what didn't. We didn't go too crazy with the decor but what we finally ended up with turned out beautiful. These guys are pro's at what they do, and it really shows throughout the entire process from initial meetings to the end product.

I booked FSES to provide some uplights and custom gobos for my September 5th wedding at Casa Real. They answered all of the questions I had over the the phone and were very familiar with Casa. I hit a very minor snafu where my quote didn't get back to me because the person was out of the office. I called in and talked to another person who was able to take my info and send me the quote. Other than that, the responsiveness was great. I was e-mailed a few weeks out (I believe) to confirm the gobo design and everything looked like the proof.

I would recommend FSES for your lighting needs, especially at Casa Real.

Kevin and his company, fantasy sound, did an outstanding job at our wedding. He brought all of the necessary equipment (including back up microphones!) and made sure everything was installed correctly for our ceremony. Kevin even added a lighting package for us at the last minute. His pricing was extremely reasonable for the duration and quality of service that he provided for us.

If I had to be critical, I would say that sometimes an email would not get responded to right away, so don't be afraid to pick up the phone and call! Everyone is very friendly.

Love how efficient the website was. I was looking for lighting for my wedding and the chat popped up and someone was able to assist me right away. The chandeliers were so pretty and although it was expensive I think it was worth it.

I loved the lighting Fantasy Sound provided. The lighting really enhanced an already beautiful venue-at Palm Event Center. Nick was very helpful with making my vision become a reality. I had a picture of what I wanted and he made it easy to decide what I wanted with his help. I made a few changes throughout the process and Fantasy Sound made the changes and worked with me.

Fantasy Sound not only DJ'ed our wedding but they also provided the lighting. I was impressed with Fantasy Sounds professionalism. We had picked a DJ for our wedding and 1 month prior to our wedding that DJ was no longer working for the company. The owner Kevin called us to let us know and said that he would DJ our wedding himself with no extra charge. Fantasy Sound was on time, set up, and didn't need any direction from us on the day of. I was very happy with their service.

We had Nick who was very easy to work with and worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinator/venue. The music was fantastic and the DJing was great!
