The Wedding Dress of my Dreams

Being from Eastern Suffolk County, there was no doubt in my mind that I had to set up an appointment at Fantasia Bridal to shop for my wedding dress. It's reputation precedes itself and boy I was not disappointed. I was fortunate enough to work with Alicia, the owner, and she made the experience so pleasant for myself, my mom and aunt. I went into the appointment with dresses in mind (although their inventory is spectacular) and Alicia took those options, combined them and brought me what was unanimously my wedding dress. From there, we just continued to have a nice experience with the rest of the staff through Alterations and beyond. Fantasia Bridal is a must!!! :)

Great to work with

They we’re great to work with!! I picked out my dress Pre-COVID. Candy made my experience so enjoyable! She asked what I was looking for in a dress and said she had the perfect dress. She also let us browse and look at other dresses. She was there to help me get in the dresses if needed, but also let me enjoy the time with my mom, MIL and bridesmaids. When the pandemic hit, I let them know I was considering wearing my dress for the small ceremony we were having and they arranged for one of their seamstresses to finish my dress for me. Everyone there was a pleasure to work with!

AMAZING! Candy made this experience unforgettable!

This was the second shop that I went to looking for a dress. Candy was AMAZING! She was super friendly and helpful. They had dresses that I had said I liked pulled already when I got there. After trying on a few, she went and found THE ONE! I was not looking forward to dress shopping, and after my first experience somewhere else hating everything I was worried about going again. The staff there made my experience a great one and I cannot thank them enough !!

First and only store I went to!

Fantasia was the first store I visited to try on wedding dresses. I didn’t anticipate finding one. I showed them some sample photos and they pulled about 13 dresses. I tried them all on. Some were styles exactly like my photos and some were a little outside of the box. I ended up falling in loooove with one that actually fit different than any of the photos I had. They stayed within my price range when pulling dresses and let me know when one was higher up in the range before I even tried it on. My dress came in and I had two fittings with Tatiana, their seamstress. She is amazing at what she does and my dress was beautiful!

Amazing staff and salon

I was not looking to spend a lot of money on a dress ($600 or less) but I called Fantasia because I had been there before as a bridesmaid and had a good experience. When I called and spoke to Chrissy, I informed her of my budget and she told me about an upcoming sample sale. I was dreading the experience of dress shopping but the day of, Chrissy was absolutely amazing. She listened to what I liked and didn't like and was never once pushy. I walked away with a sample dress that was in great condition, and they reduced the price for me even more than they were initially selling it for. Chrissy and other staff double checked that the dress would be able to be altered appropriately without ruining it (due to the fact that it was too large in size). She even gave me recommendations for seamstresses closer to my home. They were patient, generous and kind and made what I thought was going to be a dreadful experience, an amazing one. I got and continue to receive endless compliments on how beautiful the dress is.

Super Helpful & So Pleasant!

I LOVED everyone that I worked with at Fantasia Bridal. They helped me find my perfect dress and the alterations were seamless and easy! They also helped my Mom (who tried on more dresses than I did) find her perfect dress! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for their perfect dress! Beautiful dresses and amazing service! They treat you like family!

I bought my wedding dress here and I couldn't be happier! Candi, Brianna, and the entire team at Fantasia are amazing humans! Ines, their seamstress, can work miracles and she's so pleasant to work with! I had 4 dress fittings to get the dress just right and every time I was there the team was super accommodating and worked very hard to make sure the dress was perfect. At my last fitting, Ines even took the dress and did some extra work on it while I was there rather than making me have to come back. I am so appreciative of their guidance along the way! We were so happy with our experience throughout the process that we also bought the bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride dress, my aunt's dress, and rented all of our tuxes here as well. They have everything you need! The team was super nice to my whole family! They felt like a part of our wedding and family by the end. I give my highest recommendation for Fantasia! Thank you all for being so wonderful!

The best wedding dress shop

Where do I begin?! Fantasia is phenomenal. When I got down with my gown, Alicia made my experience wonderful. She knew exactly what to pick for my body and didn’t stop until I found the one. My follow up visits were with Lori, who was wonderful! She helped me through all my stresses and insecurities and really made me feel beautiful. Maria the seamstress is truly a magician. We made some additions to my gown and she flawlessly executed them. She made my gown look absolutely perfect on my body, and on my wedding day 1/11/19, I never felt more beautiful. They are a team of all stars and can’t say enough about the ladies in that wonderful shop!

Thank you so much to the entire staff at Fantasia Bridal! Working with their alterations department was an absolute dream. The seamstress is AMAZING! I never felt rushed during my fittings and she was patient working with me to make sure my gown fit my body perfectly. I appreciate the staff at Fantasia Bridal for the time they took with me every time I went into the salon and their attention to detail. I could not be happier with my experience. My experience with Fantasia bridal was amazing!! They had a great selection of dresses. It took me over an hour to get there each time and there were a few times I had to call and say I was running late for my appointment. Eventually I learned to schedule my appointments way ahead of time for all of my fittings which made my life easier. They listened to what I was looking for and respected my budget! I found something under budget that I loved and every time I was there, I felt like the only one there! I had the full attention of a dress attendant (they were all personable, professional, polite, and friendly) and they helped me with any questions or concerns I had. I ended up getting my husband's dress shirt and tie and the best man's dress shirt there too after they showed me one that matched my ivory dress perfectly (I didn't want him to wear a white shirt and I had an ivory dress). They were very affordable and my husband loved the material and the athletic fit that he needed! The only negative I have is that I felt that the minimal dress alterations were very expensive. But I would do it all again! Such a great selection and wonderful service.

I am so glad I went with Fantasia Bridal for my wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses! The staff is amazing, and very helpful. Alicia and her daughters stayed in a horrible snow storm for us, as my mom lives out of state and we didn't want to miss the chance to go there. They stayed open just for us, and gave me the most magical dress shopping experience I could have hoped for. My fittings were great, as my seamstress was great at what she does. They even created custom straps for my dress, which came out perfect! Thanks to the Fantasia team, I had the wedding dress of my dreams.

i went to one store, and tried on 6 dresses for my wedding. that one store was Fantasia Bridal. my bridal consultants (Candy and Chrissy) were absolutely amazing, and so helpful! i'm not one of those girls who'd been planning her wedding from the time she was a little girl, and i had almost no idea what i wanted in a wedding gown. i knew exactly what i didn't want, though, and Candy and Chrissy 100% made it happen. they showed me dresses well within my price range, they didn't even look at dresses that they felt i wouldn't like (based on what i'd told them), and the ones they did show me that had something i'd said i didn't want, they assured me could be changed. i thought it would be difficult to find a dress, considering i refused to wear strapless, and would not have a train. not to mention, i had 3 1/2 months to plan my entire wedding. one trip, and 6 dresses later, the fifth dress i tried on was the one that i wore to marry the love of my life. this was such a fantastic experience, start to finish with Fantasia!

When I went to Fantasia to find my wedding dress I was excited because I had been there a few times previously for bridesmaid dress alterations. So I knew I was in good hands. Candy was my sales associate and she was the best. I brought my mom, mother-in-law and best friend. I showed Candy pictures I had brought with me of a few dresses and I also told her what I had in mind. She took me through the sales floor and pulled dresses that fit my description and also allowed me to pull a few as well. She took us to a private section to do try ons which made me feel extremely comfortable. She buttoned up every dress I tried on completely. I wound up trying on about 6 or 7 and picked dress number 2. We had told her my budget before pulling dresses and with the veil, headpiece, dress and belt we stayed on target. I recommend Fantasia bridal to my friends all the time, all my fittings went seamlessly everyone there is extremely friendly and professional. A few people I personally recommend are Candy, Brianna and Alicia (Sorry if i mispelled) Thank you for all your help I am still in love with my dress and continue to get complimented on it! :D

Fantasia Bridal was amazing, they made me feel like I was part of their family, by the time my wedding rolled around and my beautiful dress was finished I was sad that I wouldn't be seeing them anymore! I had a corset put into my dress and it was unbelievably beautiful. They worked with me on all the little details and if there was anything I needed they were always there to help. I fell in love with the ladies that helped me Gina, Alicia, Marie, and Candy! Gina came out to my hotel on my wedding day to tie up my dress and my bridesmaids dresses and she brought me a personalized survival kit, I can't say enough good things about Fantasia!!

Fantasia is amazing!!! While I didn't buy my dress here, they seriously came through for me when I had some major issues with another small bridal salon (which is no longer in business). Candy (a wonderful associate who calmed me down during some serious times of panic when the other salon "forgot" to order my veil) and Alicia (the owner) truly saved my dress buying experience. She picked up the pieces when they had no obligation to. I got my alterations done there, bought my new veil, and even got the tuxedos there (see my review on them=also awesome). The associates and Alicia really care about you as a bride and there is really a "family feel" you get when you walk into this shop. They are professional, friendly, and truly life changers. Thank you for all your help!! I highly recommend to all brides and bridal parties !!

Tuxedos: We had such a great experience here! My groom does not wear suits (he's a carpenter) and I had no idea what I was doing so we were going in pretty blind. The staff was so patient and helpful!! They were so knowledgeable, answered all my questions (all 50 million of them) and were able to give us so many great options. They were professional and followed up with me in the days leading up to the event to ensure my order was perfect, and that it was. Everything looked perfect and our guys said the shoes (they were the brown shoes) were the most comfortable ones they ever wore. I loved working with them and I highly recommend them!!

After going to a few stores I ended up falling in love with Fantasia bridal. They made my experience so fun and Alicia was so much to work with. My sister showed her the type of dress I wanted and was the first dress I tried on anything after that did not compare. I ended up getting down with the gown and was so unbelievably excited. I also ended up picking out my bridesmaids dresses that day too. I came back for at least 8 fittings due to me being crazy. I had straps added to the gown which one of the consultants was amazing enough to find straps that matched my gown perfectly and made my dress stunning. I couldn't have been happier with Fantasia and I would recommend them to anyone ! Thank you Alicia and your fabulous team!

We are SO glad that we went here for my dress! We walked in thinking we weren't going to buy my dress here we were just looking but their customer service was top notch and they treated you great not just the first time you walked in but every single time after that! We love all the employees at Fantasia. From our first visit with Candy who went above and beyond to help you find a dress to our many, many fittings with our favorite girl Marie who is an absolute doll! She was hysterical and worked with us every time we came in. She was attentive to details, made sure the dress looked the exact way it was supposed to look ect. She was just a joy to work with. The owner as well, Alicia I believe, is great! They all work with you and stay with you through every fitting and make sure the dress looks the absolute best that it can on you. They also have amazing accessaries there. We're embarrassed to say not only did we buy the dress and do alterations with them, we bought a veil, earrings, necklace and headpiece from them! They were not pushy about anything, they just had really nice stuff at an affordable price. We got our veil 1/2 off for buying the dress there and we bought the headpiece as the floor model at a discount and the jewelry was beautiful and very affordable. Their alterations even cap at a certain price which for me was great because they did so much work to my dress! We definitely would recommend to get your dress here!

Fantasia Bridal was amazing- Candy helped me find my dream dress and in the year leading up to my wedding the entire staff there was incredibly kind, accommodating and professional. The alterations to my gown came out perfect and I could not have been happier with the end result, my bridal party also got their dresses from Fantasia and the process with those was equally as good. I just have to say that fantasia bridal made my wedding dress shopping so easy and fun. The staff there is so helpful and nice. I ordered sleeves for my dress and the designer took forever to send so fantasia went out of there way to create new straps for me... the designer eventually sent them and the ones fantasia personally designed for me were 100 times better that I went with theirs. My dress was stunning and I have received so many compliments about it. I could not have done it without the staff at Fantasia Bridal. I have recommended them and will continue to do so. One of my friends just found their dress there and said how wonderfully they were as well. Thank you so much for all your help and making my day perfect!

Ladies, stop what you're doing and go to Fantasia Bridal for your dress!!! I was blown away by the service there. I felt special the second I stepped in the boutique and that feeling remained for the entirety of my wedding planning! My mother was so happy with them, she decided to get her dress there as well. By the time my wedding day was here, we felt like we were friends with the staff! The prices were comparable to other boutiques but the service is by far the best I've ever dealt with. I've been to a lot of other places but I will never go anywhere else again. Thank you, Fantasia ,for everything!

I didn't expect to find my wedding dress on my first visit to a bridal suite but I did. Fantasia came highly recommend by several people and they were absolutely correct. The selection of dresses were amazing as was the staff! I found "the dress" three dresses in but the staff encouraged me to try on more to make sure. I never felt rushed in my appointment either which I had heard a lot of my friends and family experienced at other places.

I have been in a few weddings before where the alterations were AWFUL and I felt pushed to order a dress way too big. My gown was the PERFECT fit, I just had to have it hemmed. The alterations came out perfect and I didn't have to pay exorbitant prices. I had a very tight schedule with fittings because I was out of state months leading up to the wedding and Fantasia was more than accommodating to my needs. They have so many different styles and designers. I chose a Maggie Sottero design and added an elusion piece.

Don't waste your time schlepping into the city to go to those "famous" bridal suites. GO to Fantasia and find the wedding gown of your dreams! :-)

I emailed Fantasia bridal a few weeks ago looking for two specific gowns. They emailed me back promptly saying they had one of the gowns. I finally went to the store this past weekend for an appointment and it was a wonderful experience! Chrissy was AWESOME! Made me feel so comfortable. The store is so relaxed. I did not feel pressured to buy at all. At other stores, staff have made comments about my budget and the type of dress I am looking for, but not here! I did not buy a dress that day and they totally did not make me feel bad about that like other places. I have been to 4 stores before and this is definitely the one I loved the most. I will definitely be back to buy my gown there during an upcoming trunk show they have!

Although I did not buy my dress from Fantasia, I had a wonderful experience! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by pleasant staff who let us look at all the dresses and pick the ones I wanted to try on. I came in and told them that I wasn't really looking to buy a dress that day but no one seemed to mind. No one was pushy or treated me any differently. Not knowing what type of dress I was looking for, Alicia helped me narrow down my options. She was patient and always pulling something she thought I would like. I probably tried on over 20 dresses that day. She listened to what I had to say and let my aunt be a total part of the process. Alicia even followed up with a thank you card giving me a few more dresses she thought I should try on. I finally found my dress closer to where I live and sent her an email. She responded back how exited she was for me and STILL offered to help in any way she could. I wish that everyone could have this experience when looking for wedding dresses. Alicia made my dress shopping experience wonderful, and I can't thank her enough!

Alicia, Susie & Gaby along with the seamstresses made sure everything was perfect for our big day! From start to finish, they were so attentive and accommodating. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Fantasia Bridal. They made shopping for my wedding dress such a fun experience! From the minute you walk in the door you feel like part of their family! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! All the girls have truly gone above and beyond (especially Val) in helping me, my mom and my bridesmaids with our dresses! They really make you feel special and not like just another customer! Alicia is such a sweetheart and really knows her stuff. I tried on at least 30 dresses and they were all very patient and wanted me to find the perfect dress. They have a huge variety to choose from, all sizes and styles and carry many different designers! I ended up getting the very first dress I tried on! I also got my shoes, slip, veil and jewelry at Fantasia! They have everything you need for reasonable prices! I needed a lot of alterations on my dress and it looked absolutely perfect! I have been getting so many compliments on my dress, my moms dress and the bridesmaid dresses! I would highly recommend Fantasia Bridal to anyone and everyone! I had one major dream for my wedding day and that was to look like a princess and Fantasia Bridal made that dream come true! I am the type of girl that wanted a big sparkly ball gown and that is exactly what I found at Fantasia Bridal. The dress I picked out was absolutely beautiful but I am self conscious of my arms and this dress happened to be strapless. Well in a matter of seconds the staff at Fantasia put their minds together and found the most beautiful detailed sleeves to add to my dress. The seamstress got right to work and before I knew it I had a custom dress that looked like it was made that way. I received the most amazing compliments the day of my wedding and my guests are still talking about how much they loved my dress! I had the honor to work directly with the owner Alicia as well as many members of her staff and each one made me feel just as special and relaxed as the next. If you want a bridal store you can trust throughout the whole wedding process then Fantasia Bridal is the place for you!

Fantasia Bridal made my wedding dress shopping experience absolutely amazing. Every person in that shoppe was pleasant, knowledgeable, and seemed genuinely happy to help. I visited just about every bridal salon in Suffolk County over a months time to find my dress, and in that time I visited Fantasia 3x! I went in wanting to try on only lace dresses, and finally asked to venture out into different styles. I was going back to buy the dress I thought I settled on, and asked that they pull some dresses in a similar style as I hadn't tried many on that weren't lace. The attendant pulled a dress that was covered in tasteful bling (which I didn't initially want!) so I said I'd try it on for fun and wouldn't you know it ended up being my dress. Love their selection of Maggie Sotteros. They made my cathedral veil custom, and we went back and got the perfect Mother of the Bride dress for my Mom as well. I HIGHLY recommend Fantasia Bridal!

There are not enough words to express how amazing Alicia and her team are at Fantasia. The most important thing I have to say about Fantasia is that the people there are just amazing. By the time I had purchased my dress, been through fittings and worked with the tuxedo staff I felt like I knew everyone in the shop and they treated me like family.
I originally looked at dresses with Lisa who was simply the sweetest and made the whole process so much better. I had no idea what I was looking for and she was so patient and did such a good job of finding dresses to flatter my figure. The shop has a great selection of plus-size dresses and I never felt that my selections were limited or that I had to squeeze into a much-too-small sample. I actually ended up seeing my dress at another bridal shop, but was so impressed with Lisa that I came back to Fantasia to order it from them. When I did, I realized that the other shop was going to overcharge me and were also forcing me to order the length in advance so they wouldn't have to hem it-- not the case at Fantasia!
I did unfortunately have a problem when my dress finally came, as the size chart was inaccurate and the dress didn't fit. The staff at Fantasia did everything they could to help and the seamstress started remaking the dress while Alicia began to hunt down the right size! I have to say that Alicia was incredible, and called me multiple times with updates and options until things worked out. Between the two dresses I think I went back to the shop 5 times for fittings and each time the girls there were so sweet, friendly and warm. By the time it was all settled I felt like they were all invested in making sure my dress and veil were perfect. The alterations came out perfectly, I can't say enough about the seamstress. All the groomsmen had great things to say about the tuxedos as well, the girls that work there are so helpful and again, sweet as can be. I would recommend them to anyone. The staff is what makes this place so much better than any other bridal store I've been to.

Awesome! Amazing! Wonderful! I can't say enough good things about Fantasia Bridal and all of their staff. I got my wedding dress here and the staff was very good at helping me figure out the kind of dress that flattered my body. They did not push for me to buy a dress at the store, and encouraged me to look all over! I knew they were the type of business that I wanted to deal with! My sister thought she would have a difficult time finding a dress, she is busty and a little bit bigger. The bridal staff knew exactly how to help her and she looked absolutely amazing on my wedding day. They made her feel good! All of my girls got their dresses at Fantasia and received a discount as well! Not only was staff able to help with dresses but the staff is knowledgeable and knew about accessorizing and hair styles too! Also, their seamstress Effi, worked WONDERS on my dress! Fantasia Bridal was the first & only place I ended up looking for my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. I went on a Friday morning and was the only bride in the store which was nice because it was the first time I had ever tried on wedding dresses and I needed to see everything! Michelle was the sales associate helping me. She must have pulled 20+ dresses and even began pulling out things that had just arrived and were not on the floor yet. Surprising even myself, I fell in love with a very simple Venus dress that was reasonably priced most surprising becuase I have very expensive taste! It was the weekend of a Venus trunk show so I recieved a discount on my order that I put towards my veil, that was a nice bonus too! There was no pressure to buy but once I felt confident in the dress, I knew my search was over. I came back two months later for my bridesmaid dresses and they were able to order them for my 6 maids in less than 3 months turnaround! Thank you Fantasia Bridal!

Love, love, love the entire staff at Fantasia Bridal! They made my wedding dress selection process so stress free and made me feel like a bride. I originally went to David's Bridal because lets face it they selection is mostly inexpensive, but it showed in their selection. The consultant brought me dresses in fabrics I specifically asked not to have, styles I didn't like and seemed to busy during my appointment to look for other dresses. At Fantasia it was exactly to opposite. Valerie was amazing and after trying on a few I printed offline that weren't quite "it", she took me around the store and selected dresses with me that were similar to the styles I was drawn to until we found the one! I was so grateful and she was there throughout the entire alterations process until the day I picked up my dress! Alicia, the owner, is the most personable women you'll ever meet and I will without a doubt use Fantasia Bridal for any special occasion I have in the future.

Candy was excellent~patient and very helpful with her suggestions and ideas. As the Mother of the Bride, I felt that she really wanted me to be happy with my choice. There was no high pressure to buy and even suggested that I shop around until I felt sure of the "perfect dress". Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. I brought in a picture of a dress I found, and loved online, and they had it. It was the first dress I tried on, and new it was the one. I tried on 15 other dresses just to make sure, but I knew. They also gave me a great price for the dress. Everyone there at Fantasia's Bridal, was amazing, so sweet, and helpful, and when you were there, they made you feel like you were the only bride there. I went to Fantasia Bridal to look for BM dresses and ended up trying on wedding dresses. One of the girls asked me what I envisioned in a dress and she picked one for me to try on. I first tried on a lace gown that I liked, but it ended up not looking so great then I tried on the dress the girl chose for me and it looked like they had made it for me. The staff at Fantasia Bridal are amazing. Due to a family illness, we moved our wedding date from November 2012 to March 2012. Thankfully, I had my dress on order. They were able to expedite the completion and delivery of my wedding dress (from China!), as well as everyone else. In two weeks they had us ready for my wedding day. They took care of 9 Bridesmaids, two Aunts, myself, and my mom inside two weeks. They had to find a Bridesmaid dress similar to our original plan that they had delivered to the store in four bussiness days. One of my Bridesmaids flew in from Italy a few days before the wedding and they had her ready on time. I can not thank them enough for their kind compaassion (and discount for my bridesmaids and family) during a very hard time for my family, as well as thier attention to every detail that made our wedding day just beautiful.

i used fantasia bridal for my bridesmaids dresses. I am the perfect bride to give a review of this company since i had a minor speed bump where we were almost without 2 of my bridesmaids dresses but fantasia's staff was unbelievable they called alfred angelo like crazy and worked there hardest to get the dresses in the wednesday before the wedding and the seamstress pulled an all nighter too make sure those two dresses were perfect! i can not thank them enough, dealing with this company was a pleasure. in that moment when your with out 2 of your 6 bridesmaids dresses including one maid of honors most brides would be stressed beyond belief but they really did have everything under control and made it very easy for me. I also ordered my swarovski monogrammed cake topper through fantasia and my head piece. both which were stunning!

I can't say enough about the FANTASTIC ladies at Fantasia Bridal. They weren't pushy and they were very accomodating. I went up to the store at least ten times to admire my dress and they never seemed annoyed, in fact they seemed just as excited as I was about getting married. I felt like they were family. They always remembered who I was and made me feel totally comfortable. I bought a dress right off the rack and Maria altered it to perfection. They were so helpful in working with my budget. I actually ended up finding many of my vendors through Fantasia, because once I told them that I was working with a limited budget and was having a hard time finding people, they would introduce me to new people eveytime I walked in -- videographer, wedding coordinater, florist, tuxes. They did more than dress me up...they kept me sane.

Great Experience

I had a really great and easy experience with Fantasia Bridal! I had a really hard time finding a dress at the other places I visited prior to going to Fantasia. They made me feel like they actually cared about how I felt in my dress... not like a "car salesman" like other places I had been to.
The only "negative" thing I can say is that there was a SMALL hiccup when it came to my first fitting appointment. I called well in advance to schedule my first fitting and I believe that the person I spoke with originally made a simple error, thinking that I was scheduling an appointment to just go look at my dress since it just came in. When I got there, with my MOH, for what I thought was my first fitting, the lady who I spoke with told me that I needed to schedule my first fitting and that it should be 8 weeks out of my wedding date... we were there at exactly 8 weeks out of my wedding date. I know that I definitely told the person over the phone that I was making an appointment for that specific purpose because I called to ask them "how many weeks out should I be scheduling my first fitting" and then proceeded to schedule an appointment.
Again... this was a very slight hiccup. I probably wouldn't have even mentioned it if I didn't have to reschedule my teaching schedule in order to be at this appointment so it posed a minimal inconvenience.
Regardless, mistakes happen and I would still 10/10 recommend this place. I felt so comfortable in my own skin when I found my dress there, and the seamstress work was excellent. I had a decent amount of custom work done (appliques added etc.), and they executed my vision flawlessly.

Even though I didn't end up buying my dress at Fantasia, I still had to write a review. They were fantastic! Candy was so sweet and helpful through the entire process. She was so accommodating for my entire bridal party and myself, giving advice about dresses only when asked and not forcing her opinion, and knew exactly what the dresses would look like when fitted and altered. I found a dress here that I loved at another store as well, and it was over $500 cheaper at Fantasia! I would definitely recommend every bride on LI try this store!

I just bought my dress from Fantasia last week and was thrilled with my experience. I visited a couple other boutiques before coming here and I found them to be disappointing from the minute I walked in. Fantasia was clean and organized. Their selection of dresses was much more impressive and current and the staff did a phenomenal job of picking out dresses that were right for me. They made sure that I only focused on one dress at a time which was nice because at the previous boutique, I had so many dresses piled in the fitting room I could hardly move! My moment when I said yes to the dress was special and well planned and the owner even came out to be a part of it. Once you buy your dress, they make sure that you are in charge and no one- bridesmaids or mothers, can make changes or show others what you've picked without your approval. When they said "welcome to the Fantasia family" they mean it! I also needed something special ordered and they made sure I got what I need and will not charge you until they know you are happy with the order since they did not have it in stock.

I had a very interesting road to how my wedding dress came to be--six months after having purchased my wedding dress from Fantasia and five months prior to my wedding I found out I was pregnant. Although I was happy I was very concerned about how my dress would fit. My fears were founded when I couldn't get my dress past my hips at my first fitting. I was devastated...Fantasia Bridal saved the day when they offered the sample version of the exact same dress that I had purchased from them in exchange for my original dress. I required lots of alterations due to my growing belly in addition to sleeves which were added on. Even though I never envisioned myself as a pregnant bride, I can honestly say thanks to Fantasia Bridal, I never felt more beautiful!!! In the end, I got a beautiful wedding dress, my veil, headpiece, and my bridesmaids dresses from Fantasia and everything was great!!

I met one of the sales ladies at a bridal expo at east wind, and I was describing the type of dress I was looking for. The sales woman immediately said she had my dress at the store. She was right! I found my dream dress for under my budget and went back for my bridesmaid dresses. Fantasia is extremely helpful and professional.

I bought my dress of the discontinued rack and it was amazing. The most amazing people at Fantasia are the seamstresses. I found out a month after buying my dress that I was pregnant. I was almost 6 months pregnant on our wedding day and they made the dress look amazing!

There seems to be a lack of communication between the employees, but the overall experiance was a good one. Effie was amazing and so was Michele, she has years of experiance and should have her own place.

They were so sweet and kind here - I was very happy with my dress, my only complaint is the seamstress at my first fitting told me she could do something which she could not do - it wasn't the end of the world - the alterations were also very expensive which is to be expected but I didn't think they would charge for every little thing on the mother of the bride dress.

I had a wonderful experience at Fantasia Bridal. My consultant Stephanie was a dream to work with. She listened to what I was looking for in a bridal gown and helped pull dresses that matched my vision exactly. She was also supportive and encouraging. The alterations manager did a meticulous job with my alterations, which were extensive, and my dress fit perfectly! The team at Fantasia was also very helpful in providing bridesmaids dresses for my family members. I would recommend Fantasia to anyone!

My only complaint is that my dress was too big the day of my wedding. My dress was falling down and after telling them 2 times on 2 different fittings, I was told that is how the dress is suppose to be. I was in between 2 sizes and they ordered me the bigger of the 2. I would def. say trust your own opinion in this situation. You know your body the best!

Very helpful in finding my perfect dress. On my first appointment, Caroline went through almost all of their dresses and explained all the details to me. We chose one dress of each type to try on and see what I liked. After we had a style narrowed down, she chose all of the dresses I would like. THey were always nice and helpful, not pushy at all.

I had an amazing dress. They were very helpful. The only time I was frustrated is when no one would let me know when my dress was expected in. They were supposed to call me back, but I had to call them 3 times over a 3 week period. The seamstresses were great and I had a great time trying on dresses. They did not pressure me at all! And I had many choices since I'm a plus size bride

My dress was a beautiful Maggie Sottero strapless dress. They had the dress that I desired and actually gave me a percentage off of all of my attendants' dresses and half off my veil because I chose to buy my dress at their shop. The workers were helpful and understanding. I did not need alterations but, I did need a hem and bustling and that cost an arm and a leg. I went to other bridal shops (Bridal Suite in Patchogue is horrible!) for other weddings I was in and this shop was actually the best and the people were the most friendly.

I got mybqedding dress here. They were very nice, and the dress fit just right. Alterations were pricy but I don't have a comparison to make, so I figured they are all going to be about the same. I just have one complaint and its that they put my veil with the dress and didn't look pressed, and the fact that alteration appointments are not available on weekends, so I had to juggle some weekday scheduling, other than that, I was very satisfied with my dress and the price was reasonable.

Everything went well with picking out a bridesmaids dress for my friend's wedding, until I went in for the first fitting. Not a single person I worked with originally was there the day of my fitting and I was shuttled in and out like a herd of cattle. The clips to fasten the halter straps around my neck fell off without my even taking the dress out of the wrapping - for a $190 dress, I was appalled. When I tried the dress on, it fell right off me. They said they ordered the dress to my measurements, which they gave me a dress in a size eight and my measurements indicate I'm a size 4. Not only did no one listen to me or offer to help in any way possible, they charged $120 for alterations for their own mistake. Do NOT allow them to order the dress to your measurements, this is how they catch you and charge you an arm and a leg for alterations (give them the dress size you WANT and do not let them convince you otherwise). No discounts were given to anyone in the bridal party. I am livid and will never return here for future bridal events which is sad because before they had a red cent of my money, they treated me well and I had nothing but good things to say about the company in general. After owning a business of my own, I am sincerely amazed at how I was treated.

Awful service! My dress was not ready the day before my wedding and they oversized all the bridesmaids dresses and then charged crazy amounts for tailoring. Very disappointing!

I was extremely disappointed in the professionalism and quality of service provided by Fantasia Bridal. I purchased my wedding gown, bridesmaids dresses and mother of the bride/groom dresses from Fantasia and even though our dresses were all beautiful the overall experience was very frustrating and upsetting. My bridesmaids dresses were all sized 3 sizes too big therefore there alterations were extremely expensive. At the time of fitting they tell you that you should not meet your alterations price cap, however once you go pick up the dress they charge you the capped price. In addition, my mother went to pick up her dress and asked to try it on and the staff would not allow her to try on her dress because the dress was already steamed. After spending over $100 on alterations her dress still did not fit and was not left enough time to have further alterations. I was scheduled to pick up my wedding gown the day before my wedding at 2 pm. I called Fantasia at 1:30 to inquire about the cost of the alterations because I was never contacted and at that point they told me my dress was not ready and would not be ready for another 4 hours. I was absolutely devastated. When I got there hours later the dress was still not ready and I waited there for over 45 minutes. When the seamstress came out to look at the dress she was not even aware that my wedding was the next day. I would not recommend Fantasia to anyone and if you do decide to purchase your dresses from there have you alterations done somewhere else!

Dont shop here for your wedding dress or your bridesmaids wedding dresses. One of our bridesmaids dresses were being shipped out of town, and it had a huge discoloration on the back of the dress. This was the material, not a stain. It was chifon and very sheer. Had it of been a stain, the satin under the chifon would have been stained as well. We asked to discuss some type of resolution, as this dress is very expensive. The owner called me, said no. She was rude, and downright non professional. What she does not know, is the bride is an attorney, and after i do my research into this situation, they will be going to small claims court, to reimburse me for this dress. Along with court, i will make sure that there reviews for the years ahead are going to reflect the way they run a business. AWFUL,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I would not recommend Fantasia Bridal to my worst enemy, my experience here was upsetting, stressful and very time consuming. Following my first alteration appointment I constantly had issues with my MOH dress fitting each time I went back. They took the dress in way too much the first time, resulting in the dress being too tight, and then dress “magically” kept getting tighter each time I went back, even though I kept losing weight. Alicia had to heat stretch my dress multiple times and I did not eat for 2 weeks because I was so worried my dress wouldn’t fit on my sister’s wedding day. I went to pick up the dress a few days before the wedding (after having 4+ fittings) and they couldn’t even finish putting the beads back on my dress, which was very noticeable. I actually had to put the dress on (which was supposed to be going home with me) for them to see how bad it looked without the beading finished. Fantasia had to keep my dress for another day to finish the beading. On my sister’s wedding day beads were falling off the dress before it was even zipped up.

The alteration department is a rip off, they charged me $95 for a hem, shortening the straps, and what should have been taking the dress in - their bridesmaid cap is $115. As soon as you pay for your dress and alterations (which you have to pay before they make any), they really don’t want anything more to do with you and they aren’t super friendly because they have your money.

I was incredibly disappointed how fantasia bridal handled my situation. They pushed back the arrival date of my dress several times and never tried to contact me to let me know. The only time they ever called me was to return my many phone calls to them to find out what was going on with my dress. They did not once apologize for putting me through unnecessary stress. My dress literally came in three weeks before my wedding date and they were not willing to fit my appointment in to accommodate my schedule. I ordered the dress on February 1st and it did not come in until late September. Their scheduling system is extremely antiquated, out of date and unorganized. Unfortunately I will not be recommending this bridal shop to anyone.

Our family had used Fantasia before with Sophia and Effie and had a very good experience. Both these people seem to no longer be there. This time I was there with my daughter for her wedding. We found a dress she loved. Staff was helpful and polite. The problems happened at fittings. First fitting was fine though seamstress did not explain anything she was doing. We assumed she knew what she was doing. Second fitting my daughter could not take one step without tripping. They said they would fix it. We go in the third time and they say the dress is steamed and ready for pick-up. I say it has never been on her with the bustle right or the hem right. They say we can try it on. IT IS TOO SHORT!!!! They say we must have changed shoes.. She was using her grandmother's 58 year old wedding shoes and never changed them. We were upset but my daughter was staying calm. She asked "what can we do to fix this in 2 days" one of the people who worked there stepped up on the pedestal and put her hand up in front of her face and said you have to calm down, which is when she started crying. Then my 82 year old mother who just lost her husband started crying. I understand they had a death in the family but they also had a business to run. We were dealing with a very sudden recent death of my father and still trying to have a wedding. We just left and picked up the dress the next day. It was too short and the strings for the bustle were never hidden. 12 loopy strings were hanging out for all the pictures of the ceremony! We have tried to contact them twice since the wedding before doing reviews and they never got back to us. I strongly suggest you do not use this shop, very unprofessional!

Please do not use this Bridal Shop. My daughter got married on September 15, 2018 and basically her dress came apart before the ceremony. The owner Alicia takes no accountability for what went wrong with the dress. In my opinion, if you want a good experience, do not go here !!

Never ever again! I’m so upset with this place. There were alteration issues with all of our dressses!! 6 of them! There were pins left in the bottom of my dress. I didn’t find them until the day of my wedding. My bustle was horrendous. ANd yes, my girls did it right. It wouldn’t stay bustled. After talking to the owner, the most she would do is let me bring my dress there to get preserved. Well, I don’t trust this place anymore. And definitely don’t trust them with my dress. My girls have already tossed heir dresses because they were so badly altered that they will not wear them again. Please look elsewhere for a dress for your magical day

Definitely not a place to recommend for anything. Very unprofessional staff and disrespectful. If you come early for your appointment, they will not attend to you even if they don’t any customers. A complete disgrace of a business. How do order a dress true to size with no wiggle room? Oh yeah, thats right! So they can nickle and dime you for alterations. The owner should be ashamed.

Complete and utter disappointment with this bridal shop. An error was made in the ordering of one of my bridesmaids dresses and instead of correcting the problem, they took advantage of the fact my wedding was fast approaching and charged me for an additional dress to correct their own mistake! The owner even screamed at me over the phone as if I did something wrong and hung up on ME, the bride! They charged the capped price on alterations for me and my bridesmaids, even when minimal alterations were done and the alterations were done terribly to boot! My bustle broke an hour into my ceremony and my bridesmaids had threads and boning showing everywhere. Save yourself the heartache and stress, and go elsewhere for your once-in-a-lifetime affair. I’ve put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs, if you’d like to read more about this terrible ordeal.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The actual picking out the dress part was wonderful and I was completely confident that the alterations part would be too but I was wrong. Three days before my wedding was supposed to be my final fitting. Well the dress was already ready to be picked up they said but when we opened the garment bag it was covered in wrinkles and when I put the dress on I was tripping over it. I was still calm and had confidence it would be fixed when we came in two days before my wedding for yet another fitting. Next day they were very late for my appointment and the dress was now too short! They then proceeded to yell at me and my family and even made my 83 year old grandma cry!!!! On my wedding day I walked down the aisle in a dress that was short and they did not hide any of the loops for the train. After the wedding I got a Facebook message from Alicia whose apparently in charge there but she said she knew of none of this taking place and even after I brought this to her attention nothing was done for me about it. We paid the full price for alterations and the dress was short and they never took the dress in around my waist and in several pictures it looks way too big. Wouldn't wish this experience on any bride and this was the only vendor I had any complaints about.
