Our DJ was amazing! Worked with us to get a recommended playlist, his intro of our wedding party was so enthusiastic, and he kept us hype the whole night!!!!

Highly, highly recommended!!

Ivan went above and beyond our expectations! When we first booked, he sent us a detailed, easy to fill form for all of our preferred music selections. Let me tell you, we included a lot of music, and he he really executed flawlessly! He really captured our happiness and got the wedding party going! We didn't want our wedding to end. Our guests danced the entire time. He is very kind and accommodating! I asked him specifically to give a shout out to my groomsmen with songs that reminded me of them, and he did a great job and it was one of my many highlights of the night. We highly, highly recommend Ivan!

Ivan was absolutely perfect! He catered to our every need and was a master of choosing the right songs to get people on the dance floor or align with the schedule we had. Many people commented on how great he was, and the dance floor was packed all night which is a clear testament to his skills! Highly recommend.

We loved working with our DJ, Ivan, at our wedding at Agave Real in August 2017. He was great at communicating with us before the wedding and was super flexible and willing to do everything we asked to make our day amazing. We appreciated Ivan listening to our song suggestions, making announcements in both English and Spanish, and cutting our first dance song exactly as we wanted it.

We have received a TON of compliments from our guests about the music he played and how much fun they had on the dance floor. Our wedding was a blast!

Ivan was the best! We had so many compliments about him from our guests. We had put some odd requests on our list and Ivan played every single on of them. He was so nice and personable. Definitely recommend working with him!

We could not be more happy with our DJ, Ivan Rojas for our wedding. He was so perfect. The variety of music was awesome and all the ceremony and reception music was so on que. I have no complaints!

Fancy Tie events was included in our contract with Agave Estates and I'm so happy they were! Ivan was easy to communicate with and made our guests dance the entire night! He was awesome and made our day even more special. Highly recommend them!!

Fancy Tie Events works with Agave Estates. As I went with an all-inclusive package Ivan was my selected DJ and he was great. I met Ivan before the ceremony at the Agave Estates open house; he was very personable and friendly. He really cared about the music selection and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. He recently added new features to his packages as well - up lighting and monograph lights!

Aw geezzz, DJ Gus is the MAN!! The party was lit!

In an agreement through Agave Estates, we used the provided DJ services of Fancy Tie Events. When we came into contact with DJ Ivan, I knew we were in for a treat. He was our point of contact and secured DJ Gus for our wedding reception. He even appeared at the reception to introduce himself and Gus. Anyway, we received a music timeline to be filled out and sent to Ivan so they can prepare the music for us. They requested that they have it 2 weeks before the event.

Now I'll be honest, I got it to them later than that. Mixed decisions about particular songs held us back until we decided just over a week before that we'll send in our genre picks as well as most of our song picks for particular events to happen during the reception. We wanted to do a custom first dance where we mixed two songs into one and were still rehearsing the routine, not sure if we could pull it off. Ivan and DJ Gus were extremely accommodating with this request (I sent him the music file along with the final music timeline we wanted to use the week of the wedding). I was very worried about my lateness and didn't want to inhibit their work, but they were superbly understanding and worked well with our requests. Please y'all, don't be like me and do this ahead!

DJ Gus: He was like a bro, for real! My first time meeting the man was at the reception. Upon our meeting with him, we knew for sure the party was in good hands. He was very professional in his demeanor and ran that music well. He had the floor packed and spoke well with the mic. He is so obviously very experienced in his profession and read the crowd we brought nicely. The only time we the floor emptied (beside the wife and I, of course), was just so our dancing guests could take a break! Then after that we danced and got down like Houston does all the way til midnight, and even broke some lights in the process.

Like I said, it was lit. Thank you, DJ Gus and Fancy Tie Events!

I was and still am very pleased with Ivan. We had a quick meeting (via telephone) the day before my wedding and I explained to him in detail everything that I expected for my wedding day and he exceeded my expectations. Not only was I pleased, but I received great feedback from my guest. Thank you Ivan for helping us celebrate our special day and making sure that the music kept us out of our seats and on our feet the entire night!!!

Gus was the perfect DJ for our wedding. Our friends love to dance and that is what they did! Gus listened to what we wanted and made the reception a freaking blast! We were a little specific about our music because music is a big piece of our lives and how we know almost everybody in our lives.. music is what brought my husband and I together, so this was a very important part of our wedding and reception. If you want a professional DJ who will make the music on you wedding day most memorable, I highly recommend Fancy Tie Events. I found out about Fancy Tie Events through the wedding facility I selected, Agave Estates. Ivan Rojas contacted me immediately to obtain the initial information and let me know what I needed to provided in terms of music selections. Closer to my wedding date, Gus Medina, the DJ assigned to work at our big event, contacted me. He answered all my questions special music for introductions, cake cutting, etc. and helped me select an appropriate number of songs. He literally worked with me up until the last few days to get the music arranged since I unexpected broke my wrist 10 days before the wedding. Gus did an outstanding job on my wedding day. He made all the necessary announcements and played a wonderful assortment of music to entertain our diverse audience. Everything came out nicely on our wedding video as well. We were very happy and so were our guests.

Ivan was an absolute joy to work with for my wedding. He is so professional and leaves you knowing that you can trust your event is going to be in good hands with him. It was important to me that I had a DJ that had a welcoming & soothing voice, and could clearly transition through my wedding efficiently. Ivan did this and more! He ran the music for my outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Both went off perfectly! I cannot thank him enough for the fabulous job he did and definitely recommend him for any event!

I had Ivan work my wedding at Agave Real in Katy Texas and him and his team were amazing! They really made things flow nicely and definitely got my husband and mines vision for the night. The music was right along our taste and he would play to the feel of the room and get my guest totally involved. Ivan even helped us when we last minute added a guitar solo from a groomsman and an alumni song sang to me. It went seamlessly and I thank Ivan and his team for how accommodating and excellent they were. They really made my husbands and my night perfect and one to remember.

Ivan has a diverse musical selection and will cater to your needs. Anything that you want him to play, just ask and he will do his best to get it for you. DJ Ivan was amazing from the interview of letting him know what genres of music that we wanted to the end of our wedding. He carries himself with extreme professionalism. He is also much more experienced than any other DJ I have ever heard. The announcements were always on point and the mixing from one song to another was fabulous. He kept our reception revved up and on fire. Im not to sure if he does more than weddings but I would definitely recommend Fancy Tie Events to anyone for any event if they are available. Make sure to reserve them asap because they get booked really fast. Thankfully we were able to have him at our wedding. We wouldn't have had as much fun if we didn't hire Fancy Tie Events. Thank you Ivan we will always recommend your services.

Ivan was AMAZING! He was able to provide us with everything we had requested. He was quick to respond to emails and was very professional. The music flowed song to song seamlessly and everyone that attended the wedding was amazed with his work. My husband and I were planning our wedding from overseas. Ivan took time out to meet up with us on one of our trips to the US and we stayed in contact via email from then on. He was incredibly organised and professional, and never forgot who we were despite the fact that he likely communicates with lots of couples throughout the year. He even accommodated a special request / surprise from our Matron of Honor. At the wedding reception, the music was perfect. He kept the dance floor packed all night! The lighting was great as well. We loved working with Ivan!

I recently got married at Agave Estates and the DJ services were provided through the venue! I have to say that DJ Gus was nothing short of AMAZING!! The dance floor was full the ENTIRE night!!! My Husband danced his heart out that night!! All of our guests were on their feet; even my grandparents got out on the dance floor!! DJ Gus played all of the music from our preferred list and even threw in some selections of his own; those were great too!! His interaction with the crowd was AWESOME!! Everyone has been telling me how much FUN they had!! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!! I wish I could relive my reception all over again!! Our DJ Gus was AWESOME! I literally cannot say that there was one problem through the entire night and he was super flexible about last minute changes - although I'm not recommending them as I don't want to cause him any future stress! I would most definitely tell anyone looking for a DJ - for ANY type of event - these guys are the way to go! Made our wedding guests very happy, have tons of fun and I have received many compliments about him from them! THUMBS UP!

The DJ that Fancy Tie Events sent for my wedding was amazing! He played awesome songs at the reception and everyone was up and dancing. Ivan was an amazing DJ! Right before our wedding we attended a family friend's wedding where the DJ was neither professional nor lively. It really made us stress out about our own wedding but Ivan did not disappoint. He made sure everyone had a good time and really fed off our suggestions. We had several people tell us after the wedding that the reception was such a fun time and that you couldn't tell who was with the bride/groom side. Everyone was just out on the dance floor having a blast. I can't say enough good things about Ivan as a DJ. You can never re live you wedding day and Ivan made sure to make it a night to remember!

Ivan was very open to playing anything we requested. He was conscious of our wants at all times and made sure that the bride and groom were the center of attention and that our guests were happy and enjoyed the choice of music at all times. We made sure that we had songs that our guests would get up and dance to and Ivan made sure that everyone was involved with music that needed everyone to participate in the dances such as, line dances, conga line and Cotton Eyed Joe

Services provided were excellent! We asked our wedding guests to write down a song they wanted the DJ to play and even with this special request, sending the list was easy and the DJ had all of the songs we requested. Also, responsiveness was key before our wedding. I never once had a problem getting in touch with the service or the DJ . We had a phone meeting and several emails back and forth; their ultimate goal was to ensure our happiness on our wedding day and they achieved this for us. DJ arrived on time and really got people dancing. He was enthusiastic and interaction with the staff at our venue as well with us was positive. Would recommend and have no complaints on this service!

Fancy Tie Events was the in house DJ service that my wedding venue (Agave Road) provided for my wedding, this service was included when I booked my venue. I booked Agave Road about 15 months before the wedding. Ivan contacted me a few months after I booked the venue to touch base and tell me a bit about what the DJ service would provide and need from me, such as a list of songs, etc. obviously there's a lot to do in planning a wedding and we talked about waiting until the wedding got closer to finalize any song choices.

I was very grateful that they emailed me, rather than me having to reach out, because I had no idea what I was doing to be honest! But, Ivan provided me with a list of songs I'd need, such as First Dance, Mother/Son songs, etc, about 2 months before the wedding. We emailed back and forth for a bit and I finally settled on most of the important songs. However, I, for the life of me, could not settle on 3 important songs, our first dance, father/daughter, and mother/son. To be honest, I think I emailed him like 24 hours before the wedding to finally tell him my choices, and he was totally fine with it! They were just so great because they totally worked around my schedule, they were just very accommodating and helpful. I was sort of vague with my song choices and said something like "play popular dance songs, throw in a little Willie Nelson for my dad and some Johnny Cash for my husband's dad".

Come the day of the wedding, I obviously had a million things to do. I met my DJ Gus and he had the song list I had finally settled on. I'm a little hazy on the exact back-stage details of my wedding (which is a good thing, my venue handled everything!) but as far as I know, everything was perfect. I could see my coordinator talking to Gus via head set, cuing him when to play music as we walked down the aisle. I'm just so happy that the company contacted me and made it so easy! I never had to worry about a thing!

Ivan and his team were amazing! Never failed to answer and questions I had and was always prompt with time and replies. Day of wedding went off without a glitch. Every song on my list was played and he even took requests as they came along! Would definitely recommend them for weddings and any events!

This DJ service was included with my venue and I am happy they did. Ivan was very quick to respond to my emails and requests. He gave us the freedom to pick the songs that would set the mood of our entire wedding. He was attentive with how the guests were feeling and played appropriate music to get the crowd going. He was accommodating with my request to surprise everyone by singing as I walked down the aisle. He let me rehearse in secret a couple of hours before the wedding and everything turned out perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

We provided Ivan with song requests and shared with him the mood we wanted to set for the ceremony and reception. He nailed it!! We danced the night away! DJ Ivan was the best! I was extremely worried that the music I had selected for the ceremony would not come to fruition; I was completely wrong! Not only did Ivan find the music, but he made it sound ethereal! He even told me afterwards that he had never played music like that at a wedding before and he thought it was cool! I honestly had the best DJ service ever for my wedding reception! My wedding was in July and I still have people commenting on how much fun it was. My guest are still commenting on how awesome the music was and how Gus (our DJ) kept the dance floor packed the whole night!!!

The highlight of our wedding was the music! We had a very diverse crowd and Ivan made sure that everyone was entertained. He played an excellent combination of music and did a fantastic job of keeping a good pace . He was our mc too and did a great job. Very well organized and so much fun!

Ivan is very helpful! All you have to do is ask. I wasn't very particular on all of the songs I wanted and he did an amazing job at filling in the ones I said I wasn't sure about.

Ivan is an amazing DJ! He is a down to earth fun guy. He took the time to personalize our big day and always made himself available to talk.We received many compliments on how great Ivan was.

The only stressful part was picking out songs for the special moments (1st dance, father/daughter, etc.), but it was really helpful that Fancy Tie provided us spreadsheets with popular songs for each moment. Not only did they have about every song I could imagine, they also accommodated to our "revised" first dance we asked if they could use. They did a great job mixing genres to keep it popping all night :) I'd highly recommend FT and DJ Ivan!

Ivan was a fantastic DJ! We had asked our guests on the invitation to request a song they would like played and Ivan was able to get all of the song requests played while keeping the wedding upbeat and fun (some of the requests were quite slow). I had chosen songs for some of the events of the evening and Ivan was able to fill in the gaps for us and match our taste perfectly. I would 100% percent recommend him

DJ Ivan ROCKS!!!! We were married at Agave Road Nov. 20th and Ivan did the most AMAZING job. My new hubby and I love a vast variety of music from the 1950's- present, from R&B to Reggae/Soca. We weren't sure any one DJ could pull off our vision, but Ivan did. We listened to Kenny G, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley and much more and it all worked seamlessly. My only regret is not having a soundtrack to the wedding!! Thank you for being so easy to work with

Ivan ( DJ ) picked the music that was perfect for the wedding party as we enter the Agave Estate.
If my daughter wanted a certain song. No problem, he told her. He got it. He had the party jumping. Everyone commented about the music. He kept the wedding lively and moving. GREAT JOB !!!!

Great! Played all the most important songs for major events within the wedding. The only thing I would say is if the bride sends 6 pages of songs there shouldn't be other songs that are overplayed at other weddings, such as the bunny hop, etc. However, I understand that not all songs on the list could have been downloaded so replacing some with others is fine. It was also my fault for not specifying what songs not to play. Also, the guests had a great time during the overplayed songs dancing; so in all I am very pleased and glad I had a professional DJing rather than my iPod playing through the sound system.
