I didn't have to look far to find the wedding dress of my dreams at Fancy Frocks! Paula and her staff were exceptional to work with. It was also easy to pick out the dresses and suits for our wedding party with a wide variety of options to choose from. They were always available to answer questions and ensured that everyone in our wedding party ordered their dress and suit in time. I would highly recommend them!

The AH HA moment!

I went into fancy frocks on a whim after trying another bridal store down the street. It was a spur of the moment decision to come here and Mary could not have been more helpful! I tried on so many dresses in so many different styles and finally found THE DRESS OF MY DREAMS. Mary was an excellent bridal consultant and I’m so glad we came to this store on a whim. They have such a huge selection to pick from. Truly every dress here is simply stunning.

Dress of my dreams!

I had high expectations for Fancy Frocks after visiting previously for other events, and they surpassed them! Erin was helpful, kind, and experienced. The rest of the staff was friendly and answered any inquiries I had as well. Everyone did a fantastic job making me and my guests feel comfortable. Selection was fantastic, price points were affordable, and I made it out under budget! I would absolutely recommend Fancy Frocks to anyone.

Wonderful Experience

Fancy Frocks made finding the perfect dress so fun and easy! I am a simple girl, not big on shopping and definitely wasn’t excited about finding a dress for my wedding. However, Fancy Frocks helped me feel welcome and comfortable and it was a great experience! They had a large selection of dresses and after a few tries in different dresses and seeing what I liked and didn’t like, they knew exactly what to bring out for my body type and I found my dress on the 6th try on! It was perfect! The owner Paula is wonderful and even helped my picky husband get just the right tuxedo along with the groomsmen and some family too! I highly recommend Fancy Frocks!

Highly recommend!

Madison was amazing!! She listened to exactly what I wanted and pointed out several dresses that were right up my alley. She never tried to convince me to try on something I didn’t like. She was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable all things bridal. I found my dream dress and I couldn’t be happier!

I said YES to the dress at Fancy Frocks!! I would highly recommend them!!! They made my dress shopping experience better than I ever imagined. Kim was AWESOME! She is highly knowledgeable about the gowns and what will look good on your body type. She was so kind, personable and helpful. She made me feel completely comfortable. I never felt rushed or pressured. The customer service here is outstanding!!! They even sent me a handwritten thank you letter in the mail!! Kim, I cannot thank you enough for helping me find the dress of my dreams! Future brides, trust me, Fancy Frocks is the place to go!

I just love fancy frocks! Everyone is fantastic. Susan helped me find the perfect dress. She really listened to what I was looking for. I actually walked right by the dress and after I tried on all the other dresses I had picked she asked me to try on just one more. That it doesn't look like much on the rack but she felt it would look good on me and hit the points I was looking for. Well it was "the one!" And she was very respectful of my budget. I met with Anitta to begin alterations and she was just as great. Really listened to what I wanted and made suggestions as well. From the girls at the front desk welcoming me to the sales and alterations consultants my whole wedding dress experience has been amazing!

Fancy Frocks was so fun, helpful & professional when it came time to select a wedding dress! From trying on multiple dresses, selecting THE GORGEOUS ONE to getting my bridesmaids all set and ready to go - everything was so easy, fun and perfect! Bought a dress over the weekend cam in at 1 the appointment was at 3, took me right in! I love EVERYTHING about this place, this was the first place i tried on dresses, I'm indecisive and decided to look into other places, i came back to try on the dress i liked the best and ended up going another route! Found a dress WAY under my budget that i am HEAD over HEELS for. I also got my veil right then and my dress is a blush color and it matched perfectly! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and service! I can't wait to rock my Fancy Frock.

I just bought my wedding dress with Sydney and she was WONDERFUL! I had a lower budget but she was able to find me a dress well under what I was expecting to pay. She listened to everything I wanted and then was willing to let me try on a few more dresses even after I knew I had found the one (I didn't want to be too hasty). Everyone in the shop was so sweet and encouraging! I would definitely recommend to any brides in the area!

The staff at Fancy Frocks provided me with elite service in my search for my wedding gown. I was able to conveniently schedule my appointment online and received very prompt responses to all inquiries. Upon my visit to the boutique I did not feel pressured to make a purchase during my visit, but decided to purchase my gown from this vender (despite finding the same gown at a closer boutique) solely based on the service I received. Sydni helped me into each gown, after providing me with corset and slip to maintain my modesty. Also, I was the only client that Sydni tended to during my appointment. I would recommend Fancy Frocks to anyone who is looking for excellent service, bridal gown selection and a vendor who will respect your budget. If you have the option to request a sales person, I would recommend Sydni.

I went in to Fancy Frocks without an appointment looking for a military ball dress and a wedding dress. I happened to come in during a sample sale! Paula helped me with both. I found my perfect wedding dress AND she gave me a military discount on top of the sample sale price. I walked out with a steal of a deal. I needed the dress shipped months later and they shipped it to AK and allowed my sister to add a little gift for me in the box with the dress. Amazing place where everyone is helpful, friendly, and not pushy at all. They are genuinely trying to help you with your vision.

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Fancy Frocks. It was the first place I looked and it was where I found my dress (first one I tried on!). The woman helping me (Kim, I think?) was very sensitive to my tastes and needs. Wonderful experience all around!

Fancy frock was the first and only dress shop I went too! I tried on multiple dresses that day, and I fell in love the the most unexpected wedding dress. It was the last dress I tried on and it was everything I thought I didn't want! My consultant knew exactly what would flatter my body! They even let me change the color of my dress after I had ordered it! Fancy frock is definitely the place to go when your looking for the most perfect dress for your important day!

Fancy Frocks was the first place that I went to for my dress. With being on the road so much, I had not had time to start the process, so I was past the 6 month time frame for having a dress made. I fell in love with the 3rd dress I tried on, and they even let me buy it off the rack. All it took was three tries for them to find the dress that was most flattering to my figure. I would recommend this boutique to anyone looking for amazing styles and excellent customer service!

I didn't get my dress here but I found one out of five that I absolutely loved! It was on my top three list. The girl I worked with was nice but a bit pushy, was trying to make me buy that day and was mad that I didn't want to because it was my first day actually looking. Other then that, the dresses are amazing.

I had an AMAZING experience with Fancy Frocks! I went in with my mother just to look around one Wednesday. We didn't have an appointment and had no intention of actually trying on dresses without one but the ladies said because the store was slow that day, that they didn't mind letting me try a few on anyway! They were so sweet and professional. I especially appreciated that I could put the dress on alone and then they came in an gathered it for me, so I could be modest. I tried on 4 dresses but I came back to the first, it was the one! The ladies let me stay in it as long as I wanted, they did the whole sha-bang with me with the veil and flowers! I bought the dress! AND I was SO pleased with my experience there, that I'm bringing my bridesmaids back for their dresses as well! Thank you Fancy Frocks for making it a special day that I'll never forget! I'll see you soon!

I have had the most amazing experience at Fancy Frocks from the moment I walked in the door for my first appointment. Stephanie was my bridal consultant and was extremely helpful, knowledgable and is excellent at her job. She ended up picking out my dress, one that I would have never even pulled off the racks! Paula, the owner, has helped me at every subsequent appointment and I trust her expertise and she was so friendly and personable! They have a great selection of dresses, accessories, and everything needed for the entire wedding party. This store has really made my wedding attire shopping experience so fun and easy! I have purchased my entire ensemble there and I would recommend them to every bride out there! If I could rate more then 5 stars I would !

Melissa at Fancy Frocks gave me a wonderful appointment with no prior scheduling. She pulled seven dresses for me to try on, and helped me figure out which style I wanted and used my feedback to help me find the perfect dress! As I live out of town, they made plans to hold all of my items until everything comes in to save me a trip. The dress I bought was well within my budget, even including the beautiful veil Melissa helped me find. They also helped me get the proper bra to wear underneath so that I can take the guesswork out of how the dress will fit. I would absolutely recommend Fancy Frocks, even if you need to drive a little to get there!

The staff was always happy and smiling which really made my dress selection process exactly as I imagined it. We were treated with respect and the staff ensured they really had the time for me, and didn't try to get us in and out in a rush in order to help someone else. I think that's really what sets Fancy Frocks apart from other vendors.

Fancy Frocks was also flexible with me. Because I live out of town (and my family local), I chose to get my dress where I grew up. It was difficult for me to pick my dress up in the suggested time, and they made arrangements and allowed an extension of storing my dress and understood my situation.

I got my perfect dress at a great value because of the diligence and expertise I experienced here. I've heard of stressful dress shopping stories from friends and I'm grateful I did not have that issue, because I chose Fancy Frocks!

I was extremely pleased overall with the helpfulness and amazing selection of gowns that embraced many different bridal styles and fits. Barbara helped me pick out my wedding dress and she was absolutely amazing and super kind. I had already experienced two negative bridal shopping experiences and it was so nice to have that bridal experience every bride and her mom could hope for. My mom got her MOB dress here and Paula was so accommodating and helpful. I also used Fancy Frocks for my flower girls dresses, and I needed two for both girls in very different sizes. It was extremely stressful finding dresses for both girls that were similar or almost the same and age appropriate for both girls. Fancy Frocks was extremely patient and made sure my dresses arrived on time even though we ordered last minute. I also had a small dilemma in one of the dresses having a different flower than the other and with it being last minute I was afraid it was not going to be able to be fixed, however they did pull through and get the same colored flower for my other FG. Thank you Fancy Frocks for making sure everything worked perfectly.

I recently purchased my gown from Fancy Frocks and I could not have asked for a better experience. All of the staff were wonderful and very accommodating, especially my consultant, Paula. She was so patient with me, and truly went the extra mile to make sure I found the perfect gown. She also made my family feel at home and really took the time to get to know them as well. If you are curious about this place, just go ahead and schedule an appointment. You will be glad you did!

The day of my first appointment they were able to move my appointment time so I could come in earlier. The consultant was actually the one to pick my dress off the rack, she listened to everything I said and was awesome to work with!! They were able to schedule my fittings with the seamstress on days she is not typically there in order to work with my schedule! Overall these ladies are awesome and I wish I could buy another dress from them!

Fancy Frocks quickly greeted us upon our arrival and started helping us out right away. Everyone in the store was so friendly and welcoming. I purchased my gown and bridesmaid dresses and everyone that I helped me was polite and patient while I made my decisions. When I called about the status of delivery for my dresses, they were very accommodating and, if they didn't have an update, they would contact the company and get back to me later that day. These ladies are amazing! While on vacation I wanted to try on bridal dresses that interested me for my matron of honor to see. Even though I told them I probably wouldn't purchase the dress from them (since I was from out of town) they were more than willing to help me find a dress that suited my figure and my personality. These ladies know what they are doing! If I lived in the Myrtle Beach area I would definitely purchase my wedding dress from them.

My mother and I visited this dress shop while at the beach on vacation. We found a "Mother of the Bride" dress that we really liked but were scared to purchase it far away from home. The staff at the shop were very kind and helpful and gave us the dress information in case we changed our mind. When we were home from our vacation we could not get the dress out of our mind, so we called and ordered it to be shipped to our address. My mom looked beautiful and we were very pleased with the dress.

I walked in and everyone had a huge smile on their faces! The atmosphere was happy and peaceful! Fancy Frocks employees were so helpful in finding my dress! They made great suggestions on jewelry and accessories and made me feel important. They have an amazing selection of designer dresses, which is why I looked into them. I was trying to find a specific Maggie Sottero Dress, but ended up picking a different dress from that designer. It was purchased off the rack, but they take such great care of the dresses that it looked untouched. The new store is inviting and feels "fancy". I felt like I could have been on one of those wedding dress shows.

If I could sleep in my gown I would, just saying!! I had gone to many bridal salons all over SC. My experiences were between mediocre to well darn right terrible. None of the the other stores took the time to teach me what looked best. Fancy Frocks was quite the opposite! When I went in and told them what I was looking for, they took the time to make sure I was looking for the correct shape & fit for my body. Thanks to those ladies I was finally able to find my perfect gown which btw, was NOT the shape and fit I was looking for! My husband LOVED my dress! Thanks so much!

I bought my dress there and the veil and must say that I got the "bridal moment." The attendants know what they are doing - especially one but I have not seen her in 6 months. The services provided are great but expected (free steaming; providing contact information for the alterations specialist (Anita Lampley, whom- I LOVED!!!). The value was amazing - I did not really have a budget but did not try on anything over $1500. Also, they always have sales.

Overall, the experiences was great except for the last week. I brought in my flower girl dress from another vendor to be steamed, ONLY BECAUSE I was told that they would steam it for free but when I returned to pick it up, I was charged. There was no arguing the point. That left a sour taste in my mouth.

Very beautiful dresses, conveniently located in Murrells Inlet. Friendly and helpful staff. Dress prices are sort of on the expensive side, but the quality is wonderful. The tux prices were the best we found.

I ordered a sash for my wedding dress that I purchased on March 17th 2012. I hadn't heard anything from the store so I decided to call and ask if it was ready for me to pick up. The lady that answered the phone told me that they haven't received it yet because shipment was backed up. I didn't have a problem with it not being delivered to the store yet, it was just that nobody took the time to call me and let me know. Other than that the experience was pleasurable and staff was very helpful.

I bought all my attire for my wedding at fancy frocks. Everyone there is so helpful and basically there just for you. I cant think of one time i went in there and had to wait for longer than a minute before being helped. They are a little pricey with accessories, but the dress that i ended up buying was not expensive at all. The only problem i had was, i ordered a belt to go with my dress, and the eylet hook was broken, which could have been a problem with the manufacturer and not fancy frocks.

I had my dress altered and still on the day of my wedding it did not fit right. It was too long and I was stepping on the bottom through the whole ceremony/reception. I paid a lot of money for it to fit right and I feel I over paid since it still wasn't right.

The place was very nice and I felt they had a good selection. Although I made an appointment time and had to wait 30 minutes and while I was trying on dresses the lady kept leaving for awhile. So me and my sister in law pretty much did everything ourselves

My daughter got her wedding dress here the dress was perfect for her...however she was sized 3 sizes to large and the cost of alteration was half the price of the dress. Thank goodness wwe used a talented woman to fit her and could do the alterations or we would of had to by another wedding dress. Their pricing was dresses is very reasonable! The bride maids dress were also sized way to big and the were cost to them too for alterations...I know there is always some cost to fit dresses bit not to the extreme we had to pay

My dress was ordered three times to big and I was measured! I had to have so much altered off of both sides that the cost of alterations was almost as much as my gown!! That's ridiculous. I understand that people don't fit perfect to measurements but ordering something that's 3 times to big is no mistake! I feel it was done on purpose to rack up costs on alterations!

I am currently quite frustrated with this vendor. I purchased a gown from their sample sale over the phone on 7/19 and let them know I would like to have it ASAP - the gown was in stock in their store. I was told my dress would ship out that day or by 7/20 at the latest via Fed Ex. I called back on the morning of 7/20 and asked for a tracking number for the dress - at that time I was told it would have to be "looked up" and someone would call me back. 4 hours later I received a phone call from Stephanie who gave me the tracking number. I was unable to track the shipment online until 7/21 and the information provided with the tracking number was that the shipping label/billing information had been received. Upon contacting Fed Ex this morning on 7/23, I discovered that Fed Ex does not yet have this package. I called and spoke with Stephanie again and was told the package went out on Friday or Saturday night. I told her that Fed Ex does not have the package according to them, and she replied that she would have to find out what happened. An employee was given the package on Friday or Saturday night to drop it off (???). Almost 2 hours later, I am still waiting for a return call. I am not sure why I paid $25 for a "rush" shipment when I still have no idea when I'm going to receive the dress? I let Stephanie know when I spoke with her earlier today that I have an alterations appointment set for this week based on the information I was given on Friday.

The sales associate I had was RUDE rude rude. She was just in it for the sale. I am wedding dress shopping! I told her I wanted a ball gown with a long train and sleeves, she tells me "that is not in style". Not in style, according to whom? She pulled a bunch of very inappropriate dresses and my mother told her they were too risqué as I am getting married in a church. The sales associated stated "churches are more liberal about what people wear now". So she has now insulted myself and my mother in one appointment. She got very frustrated because I was not finding what I wanted. Instead of insulting me she should have said they did not have what I was looking for. This woman wanted to put me in anything and have me buy it. I do not recommend at all.

Fancy Frocks ruined what should ALWAYS be an amazing experience - getting your wedding gown. My initial experience was wonderful - I found the dress and veil of my dreams and ordered it that same day, 6/22. On 11/2, I went to pick up my dress . I went in to try on the dress and after slipping it over my head realized that it was not going past my hips. The woman who had helped me into the dress redid my measurements only to realize that the new measurements were off by 5 INCHES in the hips and 2 in the bust and waist compared to the original ones. I had been actively going to the gym and had actually lost weight. In the very least I didn't gain 5 inches in my hips. Come to find out that they ordered my dress three sizes too small because of the original measurements. The owner stormed in with the contract and told me that I was not getting a new dress. She informed me that I was keeping the original gown because I signed a contract and signed off on the measurements. What woman would argue with the measurements of a professional? When I said this to her she scoffed and responded with "You work at a gym and you don't know how to measure yourself?" She was so incredibly rude it blew my mind. She told me that I must have gained weight and was in denial. Then she asked me if I had been doing squats. Really? We exchanged a few more words and I eventually got her to order the correct dress size. The only reason she finally agreed to order the correct dress was because my bridesmaid had a picture of me wearing the gown when I tried on the sample size in June and I looked exactly the same as I did that day. When my dress arrived 2 wks later I told them that I was getting my dress altered somewhere else. So they responded with "Oh, then we won't steam it for you then". LONG story short - NEVER go to Fancy Frocks - they will absolutely ruin your bridal experience and the owner will treat you horribly.
