  Goes above and beyond

  I need a specific type of MC/DJ for my wedding since I have family that doesn’t speak English. I knew it was going to be difficult, but Matt worked to help me. He went above and beyond to get me connected to someone who speaks the language I needed. He reached out to all of his contacts and spend 3 days trying to get me more information to find someone who knows wouldn’t charge me an arm and a leg. I wish I would be able to work with Matt, as he definitely cares about the people who come to him. I definitely recommend him.

  An Unbelievable Experience

  My wife and I planned a surprise wedding and Matt was able to keep the atmosphere of a engagement party perfectly before assisting us with the start of the actual ceremony all the way through the remainder of the party. Thank you to Matt for making our special day even more special.

  Over the moon happy we chose Famous Entertainment

  Whether you love to dance or are more of a wallflower Famous Entertainment is for you! Matt and his team took our vision and made it a reality. Half our guests LOVE to dance and the other half would rather rock out. Matt and his team were able to take our vision of dance inside and rocking outside to life! But by the end of the night everyone was inside dancing! They were the right amount of encouraging and interactive with the right amount of just letting us do our own thing. Matt was also able to set up the live performance for our first dance and smoothly transitioned into party mode. I am still getting so many compliments on how fun our dance ending was- thanks to Matt and his team! They are super flexible and really accommodating. Even when we were making changes right up to and including the day of! We felt so comfortable with the team and that was super important to us. Great communication back and forth. Matt brought some great ideas to the planning that really took our ideas and made them better. You can tell he has a lot of experience under his belt. They were able to roll with everything we threw at them. And our guest had so much fun in the photo booth! Would 100% recommend Famous Entertainment!

  DJ Matt and his crew were the epitome of professionalism ! They were prompt, neatly dressed, most courteous and obliging to play special requests that some guests had.
  Their overall music mix fit our guests to a T ! It provided everyone with great favorite tunes from a wide span of musical era’s. My daughter commented how the mix of music allowed her to dance the night away.
  Lastly, Matt didn’t play the music in a loud overbearing way. We actually were able to speak in normal tones without shouting while sitting and eating at our tables.

  Makes sure your vision is the priority

  Matt was a great DJ for my event. He was friendly and responsive and interested in what my vision was for a 70’s music inspired evening. I received many compliments and everyone had a great time. He went above and beyond even when things changed at the last minute.

  One memorable night with the Best DJ

  I was blown away with the entertainment that was provided for me by Famous Entertainment Dj Matt. We danced all night long. The songs that were played reached all ages that attended my wedding. The day after the wedding I got so many text messages raving about the DJ. We also had his Photo booth which was amazing. His prices were the best especially in the economy. We were able to have such a memorable wedding I can't say enough about the this company which I would highly recommend for any event.

  Best DJ on Long Island

  So from beginning to end Matt remained professional. His set up was so nice from the tvs with our names to the DJ booth. I really enjoyed his DJ skills and he really brought the party out. There was not a single person sitting down.

  Excellent DJ he did a fabulous job. Everyone was up dancing even our 93 year old Mom.

  Dancing Queen

  Matt made a dancing Queen out of a bride that doesn’t normally dance. Since my new husband and I do not dance, I was worried about having a boring reception. On the contrary, Matt’s energy had me dancing when we entered the room, he had the crowd up on their feet from the beginning and we partied until the very end. I couldn’t help but match Matt and our guests energy on the dance floor because everyone was enjoying the music and having fun. Matt was so much fun, he got on the dance floor with us, kept the music going without any issues, was extremely accommodating from beginning to end and turned our reception into a magical night to remember. He read the room from the beginning and that is key to a successful party. Our guests even said he was a great DJ. I really appreciated how he took video of us dancing with our guests on the dance floor because we didn’t hire a videographer but we now have these video clips for memories. My husband was specific in making sure the volume wasn’t too loud and it was the perfect volume. What took me by pleasant surprise is how he had the crowd up on their feet once again for my dress change. Matt understood the assignment. He kept the party classy but fun. We rented the 360 Photo Booth from Matt which was a great decision. His attendant was so nice and the guests enjoyed it very much. We had just about every age group at our reception and just about everyone was dancing. We had the time of our lives Matt, thank you for making it so much fun. You nailed it!

  Matt helped us throw an amazing party for our daughters sweet 16! He paid attention to every detail and provided ideas to make the party a hit! Everyone said the dj was great and raved about what a great time they had. I highly recommend.

  Rocked the party

  Mat was an excellent and attentive DJ. He worked tirelessly with the event coordinator to ensure that all of our events were done in a timely fashion. He also worked with our photographer to coordinate photos during each event. They brought energy and fantastic fun to our event. We were very happy with their service.

From the equipment to the song selections, everything went above and beyond our expectations. The worked with us prior to the wedding on the flow of our latin music themed wedding and helped us make decisions in a very stress free manor.   I was so happy to meet Matt and his team. We knew right away this guy knows everything about turning a wedding into incredible experience. His DJ Paul and photographer Rey were awesome. Paul played to the crowd and kept the dance floor exciting. Rey gave us everything we could wish for with photography and the price was better than other offers. Matt did great MCing and made everything perfect.

  I was so happy to meet Matt and his team. We knew right away this guy knows everything about turning a wedding into incredible experience. His DJ Paul and photographer Rey were awesome.   Amazing dj

  The second we walked in to meet Matt, we knew he was the DJ for us. The DJ is there to bring life to your entire party, so obviously they are one of the most important vendors. Matt was one of those DJs you can tell LOVED his job, had GREAT energy, and thats the kind of guy we were looking for. He was incredibly flexible and available any time we had a question or an update to our song list. We had a few strange requests and were worried about what we were asking of him and he DELIVERED.
  
  We had a small wedding and were worried the dance floor would be empty, but Matt made sure this was not the case. He knew what to play and when to keep the party alive. Also, having a small wedding we were worried about over spending on vendors, but Matt's price point was EXACTLY where we wanted it to be, and he was honestly one of the most affordable guys out there.
  
  We also booked a photographer through Famous Entertainment. We went with a package that had a photographer for the ceremony and reception. Rey was our photographer and went above and beyond to get all the right shots. He didn't keep us long from the party to get the list of photos we asked for, and half the time you barely realized he was there. We received our photos back VERY quickly and were amazed at the results.
  
  We didn't need to spend thousands of dollars on him, but the service was top tier. I couldn't recommend Famous Entertainment more. They really made our day special.

  Above and Beyond ALL of our expectations!

  We just had our wedding last night and are still in shock about how perfect the music was and how much everyone danced.
  
  After having a meeting with another DJ company that we met at a bridal show I was left uncomfortable and unsatisfied. The feeling that we were just another bride and groom, nothing special. I started to do some research on a Saturday afternoon and decided to send a message to Famous Entertainment. I was highly impressed that Matt’s assistant contacted me immediately to answer any questions being that Matt was working an event. The next day Matt called to introduce himself and make an appointment with us. The moment we met Matt and Joe we knew they were perfect. They took the time to get to know us, not only musically, but personally. We were rattling off songs to each other and were all on the same page of what the vision was to be for our wedding.
  
  I cannot being to tell you how many times Matt and I have spoken on the phone. Quick conversations to go over things. Texts to check in on our wedding planning and to see if we needed help. The amount of connections he has is amazing. He even found our videographer Russ for the wedding and he was awesome to work with.
  
  Matt was at our wedding with Joe “Ello” as the DJ and Chris as the MC. When they walked in we all hugged because at this point we are a team that has worked hard on this event and we have formed a bond. With that said, they made sure the night went flawlessly. They accommodated every song request we had and timed everything perfectly. Joe had the dance floor packed all night and Chris kept the crowd laughing and had this energy that was infectious. From young to old and a bunch of backgrounds mixed in one room all we keep hearing from people is “I haven’t danced that much in a long time!”. After texting with Matt today all we could say to each other is “We nailed it!”
  
  Sorry for the lengthy review but I really had to express the amount of caring and professionalism from every one at Famous Entertainment. I could not have asked for a better team to work with. Book them and I promise you won’t be sorry!

  Matt and Joe did beyond an amazing job at my wedding. They met with us prior to the event and catered to our every want and need. On the day of the wedding they were professional and a blast to party with! My guests were dancing all night long. I received multiple compliments during and after the wedding regarding their presentation and song choices. I will definitely be using them in the future and I highly recommend them for any occasion. Just overall great people.
