I am so glad that we hired Matt from Famous Entertainment. From the planning stages right up to through the wedding day Matt was amazing to work with. My daughter and everyone at her wedding had an amazing time thanks to Matt and his team. I also booked a Photo Booth (which everyone loved and had so much fun with), and the videographer through Matt and everyone was awesome! I highly recommend Famous Entertainment. Matt kept everything running on schedule throughout the night and the dance floor moving! -

I have to say this was the best choice I had made for our wedding. They did everything from dancing on the clouds, to the best entrances, photobooth, projection tv screens, moving heads lighting. The party rocked thanks to famous entertainment. Not to mention compared to the competition for the same price point they do so much more. There are no go betweens, unlike many of the other DJ companies ive hired. I speak directly with the man in charge. When I got home and looked at the pictures of my wedding, it was amazing at how many little things that famous entertainment had taken care of, You can see them in the background making the magic work.
DJ matt went out of his way to even come to my home and help me sort out playlists and address issues that had come up. He was the one who picked up my mom, he held the limbo stick during the train dance, he was at the cloud machine making sure it blew in the right direction, he was at the light making sure it hit the dance floor just right, he was at the photobooth checking and organizing the props...
Famous entertainment is really the best choice, they give me the quality and service as any of the other top DJ companies, but the care and attention as a small business(mom and pop store).
This company gives you all the things you could want from those "BIG all inclusive" DJ vendors, but without the insane break the bank prices. -

Best DJ out there !!!
Matt made our wedding celebration perfect ! From our consultation going over songs, to the event itself. Everything was beyond what we expected. We added on the Photo Booth and it was a hit ! All of the props were great, the Photo Booth assistant was so helpful. Could not recommend this company enough !! -

Famous Entertainment really brought the party to life at our wedding! They kept the energy high all night long, with everyone dancing to a great mix of music that captured our love for punk rock and maybe a bit too much ska. It was definitely a night to remember, and our guests have been raving about it as the best and most fun wedding they've been to.
The team at Famous Entertainment was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with, making sure that our music preferences were reflected throughout the entire event. They were responsive to our requests and made sure that the atmosphere was just right for us and our guests.
While there were a few minor hiccups along the way that we considered neutral, overall, the experience with Famous Entertainment was fantastic. They truly know how to keep the crowd entertained and create a lively atmosphere that made our wedding unforgettable.
In conclusion, Famous Entertainment was the perfect choice for our big day. They not only met but exceeded our expectations, and we are thrilled with how they helped make our wedding day so special. I need a specific type of MC/DJ for my wedding since I have family that doesn’t speak English. I knew it was going to be difficult, but Matt worked to help me. He went above and beyond to get me connected to someone who speaks the language I needed. He reached out to all of his contacts and spend 3 days trying to get me more information to find someone who knows wouldn’t charge me an arm and a leg. I wish I would be able to work with Matt, as he definitely cares about the people who come to him. I definitely recommend him. -

Dancing Queen
Matt made a dancing Queen out of a bride that doesn’t normally dance. Since my new husband and I do not dance, I was worried about having a boring reception. On the contrary, Matt’s energy had me dancing when we entered the room, he had the crowd up on their feet from the beginning and we partied until the very end. I couldn’t help but match Matt and our guests energy on the dance floor because everyone was enjoying the music and having fun. Matt was so much fun, he got on the dance floor with us, kept the music going without any issues, was extremely accommodating from beginning to end and turned our reception into a magical night to remember. He read the room from the beginning and that is key to a successful party. Our guests even said he was a great DJ. I really appreciated how he took video of us dancing with our guests on the dance floor because we didn’t hire a videographer but we now have these video clips for memories. My husband was specific in making sure the volume wasn’t too loud and it was the perfect volume. What took me by pleasant surprise is how he had the crowd up on their feet once again for my dress change. Matt understood the assignment. He kept the party classy but fun. We rented the 360 Photo Booth from Matt which was a great decision. His attendant was so nice and the guests enjoyed it very much. We had just about every age group at our reception and just about everyone was dancing. We had the time of our lives Matt, thank you for making it so much fun. You nailed it! -

Makes sure your vision is the priority
Matt was a great DJ for my event. He was friendly and responsive and interested in what my vision was for a 70’s music inspired evening. I received many compliments and everyone had a great time. He went above and beyond even when things changed at the last minute. -

Matt Whitman is an incredible DJ & made our wedding day so special! I recommend using famous entertainment to anyone that wants their event to be nothing short of spectacular!!!! Matt is a super fun DJ, very flexible, he is an easy person to work with. We hired him for our wedding, and he really went out of his way to make sure that we and all of our guests had a good time, and he really did.

I was so happy to meet Matt and his team. We knew right away this guy knows everything about turning a wedding into incredible experience. His DJ Paul and photographer Rey were awesome. Paul played to the crowd and kept the dance floor exciting. Rey gave us everything we could wish for with photography and the price was better than other offers. Matt did great MCing and made everything perfect.

Above and Beyond ALL of our expectations!
We just had our wedding last night and are still in shock about how perfect the music was and how much everyone danced.
After having a meeting with another DJ company that we met at a bridal show I was left uncomfortable and unsatisfied. The feeling that we were just another bride and groom, nothing special. I started to do some research on a Saturday afternoon and decided to send a message to Famous Entertainment. I was highly impressed that Matt’s assistant contacted me immediately to answer any questions being that Matt was working an event. The next day Matt called to introduce himself and make an appointment with us. The moment we met Matt and Joe we knew they were perfect. They took the time to get to know us, not only musically, but personally. We were rattling off songs to each other and were all on the same page of what the vision was to be for our wedding.
I cannot being to tell you how many times Matt and I have spoken on the phone. Quick conversations to go over things. Texts to check in on our wedding planning and to see if we needed help. The amount of connections he has is amazing. He even found our videographer Russ for the wedding and he was awesome to work with.
Matt was at our wedding with Joe “Ello” as the DJ and Chris as the MC. When they walked in we all hugged because at this point we are a team that has worked hard on this event and we have formed a bond. With that said, they made sure the night went flawlessly. They accommodated every song request we had and timed everything perfectly. Joe had the dance floor packed all night and Chris kept the crowd laughing and had this energy that was infectious. From young to old and a bunch of backgrounds mixed in one room all we keep hearing from people is “I haven’t danced that much in a long time!”. After texting with Matt today all we could say to each other is “We nailed it!”
Sorry for the lengthy review but I really had to express the amount of caring and professionalism from every one at Famous Entertainment. I could not have asked for a better team to work with. Book them and I promise you won’t be sorry! -

Perfection
Matt and Joe did beyond an amazing job at my wedding. They met with us prior to the event and catered to our every want and need. On the day of the wedding they were professional and a blast to party with! My guests were dancing all night long. I received multiple compliments during and after the wedding regarding their presentation and song choices. I will definitely be using them in the future and I highly recommend them for any occasion. Just overall great people.

Choose Famous Entertainment, you won't be disappointed!
My husband and I chose a fairly basic package at an extremely affordable price, but you wouldn't know it by the service Matt provided. He was at the Venue early and had everything ready to go and he did a great job all the way through the Cocktail Hour and Reception. The music was great and Matt was an absolute pleasure. He did a great job and we loved having him be a part of our beautiful day. -

I apologize in advance for the length of this review. But anyone committed to planning and executing a wonderful event should consider taking the time to read it - written by a Type A organizer who is beyond grateful for the AMAZING services provided by Famous Entertainment. So much so that I plan to hire them again next year :) (NOTE: this event was not a wedding, but they do a variety of event).
Matt and Jenny of Famous Entertainment - the "Dynamic Duo" as I now call them - went above and beyond for our event. They were VERY accommodating, VERY professional, GREAT communicators and best of all - WONDERFUL entertainers! Here's the long version of a longer story ;) ....
I'm on the Board of a Long Island non-profit with a membership of 120+ families. In preparing for our upcoming Holiday party & fundraising event (which we have been hosting annually for decades), I wanted to explore ways to take the event in a new direction, so I went to the Celebrate Showcase Party Expo at the Marriot in Melville. In a room full of vendors, I gravitated to Famous Entertainment because they had a great set-up with an energized and welcoming team of people who looked genuinely happy to be there and to connect with people (it also helped that they were not pushy). They not only took the time to speak with me (I spoke with Matt, Jenny and at least 2 other reps), but they also engaged my kids with the cool open-air photo-booth so that I could speak with them uninterrupted. They were all sweet and clear about what they could offer our event. Well, my kids adored them and so did I. Two days later I booked them for our event over the phone and I am so glad I did - hence this super long review.
Considering our organization is a non-profit and the event was both a fundraiser and festive Holiday party for families residing throughout Long Island (from newborns to grandparents), Matt worked with our tighter-than-tight budget and made us an offer we couldn't refuse - "accommodating" is an understatement. We took the DJ & photo-booth package and it surpassed our expectations. The day of the event, Matt and Jenny showed up early, prepared, and ready to go. When Jenny saw that I was on a time crunch and running around to finish things up before attendees arrived, she jumped right in to help me with whatever we needed - talk about an angel sent from above!
I cannot emphasize enough that this was a venue full of 60+ kids and their families , and EVERYONE - children, parents, grandparents - enjoyed themselves and left saying how much of a wonderful time they had! They kept a 3-hour long event full of kids going, without a single meltdown - that in itself speaks VOLUMES! From the music, to the entertaining activities (games, hoola-hoops, parachute, giveaways) to the photo-booth, Famous Entertainment made our event both a blast and a fundraising success!

Matt is the most amazing DJ I have ever hired. When I first found him, I already had my other DJ back out on me. Thank god I did, Matt gave me an amazing price and did everything I wanted for my special day. He went above and beyond helping me with the whole wedding planning, not just the DJ part of it. When my photographer fell through 2 days before the wedding, Matt was right there to save the day...the photographer was Roy. He took breathtaking photos, exceeding my expectations. Best photographer I have encountered. Matt always answered his phone or text messages when I had a question or needed something very fast. He is very selfless and made everything about me, the bride, for my special day. Every event in the future I need a DJ for I will be using Matt. -

My wedding was a month ago and I still have people raving about how great the DJ and MC were. They def. made my party fun and something my guests, husband and I will talk about for years to come. Matt was amazing to work with, he was very patient with me and all my requests and did not blink an eye when I finally gave him my list of songs a few days before the wedding. He was very responsive while getting us ready for the event. He prepared a wonderful video montage of my husband and I.
