Amazing & Affordable Wedding Catering!
We used Famous Dave’s catering for our wedding reception in May 2022. The entire process from start to finish was so easy & affordable too (which is one thing Wedding Catering is not!) We were so impressed by the serving staff, and the entire meal- food was fresh, hot & we had everything we needed. Thank you! -

Highly recommend Famous Dave's Catering services! The delivery arrived before the scheduled time which worked out well. The Delivery person handled everything in a professional matter. She made sure all items were accounted for. Definitely will be using Famous Dave's Catering services again!

The catering was so easy to place on-line. I was immediately contacted by members of your catering staff and we were able to get everything set up for my event. Your delivery drivers were awesome! Everything was packaged so there were no issues with spilling. The hot boxes on the delivery trucks ensured that my food arrived hot!

The Famous Dave's full service catering was the best thing I could have done for myself and my party!!! First off the crew was very professional and organized, it was pouring rain and they were still quick and efficient. The servers were incredibly kind and treated our guest very well. I will book them again in a heartbeat! -

Nice selection of menus items for any event. The Catering Team is very helpful and professional. A follow-up call was received 24 hours prior to the delivery to ensure order was still confirmed. This was a nice touch! -

We had the St. Louis spare ribs, Georgia pulled pork, garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Everything was delicious, and the delivery was right on time. They helped set everything up, and everyone I spoke to was helpful and courteous! -

Beginning to end, this was a fantastic experience. I spoke with two different catering specialist that both knew the product and were able to answer all my questions. The food was delivered on time, hot, and well labeled. It tastes exactly like it does in the restaurant. They even set it up for me! I would absolutely cater from Famous Dave's again!
The only drawback to keep in mind is that for meat usually eaten in sandwich form (pulled pork, pulled chicken) buns are not included so you need to remember to order those separately. -

Selecting the menu was very easy with help from Connie & her staff. The food was great. The girls (forgot their names) were absolutely great serving & refilling the food. There was food left over and they had some to go containers in the truck so I was able to send food home to some of the guests. Everyone made my daughter's wedding great. -

We did NOT want the traditional boring wedding food at our wedding, and we have eaten at Famous Dave's before our wedding and we thought they would be perfect for our rustic themed wedding! Literally every guest at the wedding complimented the food saying that this was the best food at a wedding they've ever eaten. They are completely affordable, and there were plenty of leftovers for guests to have seconds or even take home! If you want good food at your wedding, you should definitely choose this place! -

YUM! Famous Dave's was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. We worked closely with Deb and she was a pleasure to work with! She was extremely responsive and gave us everything we wanted. Me and My Husband absolutely looove famous daves. so what better to get them to cater our wedding?! From the day we asked if they could cater weddings, til the day after our wedding they were outstanding to work with. we got SO many people complimenting us on the food. no one was expecting famous daves. so to get food that EVERYONE loved, not to mention the best prices in town and top that off with a GREAT staff. I totally recommend having famous daves cater your wedding. they take a look at your budget and completely work with it. we even stopped in famous daves the next day to just praise them and let them know how amazing they were! -

I can't say enough about Famous Dave's catering. Besides the delicious food--about which our guests were raving ALL night!--the catering staff went above and beyond for us. Deb, the catering manager, replied to all my emails and phone calls promptly and continually assured me that everything would be taken care of (and it was). She secured some nice glass dispensers for the sweet tea and lemonade we ordered, provided extra tables, arranged the team to set up Friday morning (a day in advance), and made sure we had everything we wanted. The staff was kind, efficient, and did an excellent job on the day of. It was by far one of the best aspects of our wedding day. Definitely a perfect score! -

This was the first time Famous Dave's has catered one of our luncheons. All in all, it seems that everyone enjoyed the meal. However, we did not receive plates (a necessity) with the meal. Good thing we had some of our own. -

Every customer service rep I spoke to in planning the menu for my son's college graduation party was extremely helpful and courteous. I changed the menu a few times, and they quickly emailed me a new quote. The barbecue beef brisket, pulled pork, and hot sausage were a big hit!! So easy to work with, great value, and outstanding food! -

I cannot recommend Famous Dave's in Chicago enough! We of course did a backyard wedding and BBQ, so the menu was perfect for our event. The value for the money was exceptional. I ordered for about 15% less people (ordered for 110, 130 showed up) than ended up showing up and we had a LOT of food leftover, and it came out to about $15 a head when you inclded extra dishes, server price, gratuity, etc. We did the 3 meat sampler which had a huge variety of items per person, including their great cornbread, 3 meats and 2 sides. I also added fruit trays and salad to round out the menu. They provided 3 servers, 1 of which grilled on-site for the freshest hottest food possible. The other 2 helped setup, serve the food, and then clean up. They brought plates, napkins, cutlery, condiments and even wet naps! They also provided to-go containers for the leftovers which was a genius and very thoughtful touch. Lots of people were able to take a good amount of food home for later too, so we didn't have to worry about it :)
They showed up 3 hours early to scope out the terrain, make sure we had the perfect location to setup the grills and food, and then returned before the ceremony and worked around us so as to be prepared for the reception without interrupting the service in any way. Their organization was amazing, I was so impressed with how professional and well planned it was for a simple BBQ place. These folks know what they are doing!
Deb Tempel (the phone rep I worked with for several months to set it all up) was incredibly thoughtful and professional, and I had no doubts that they would make my wedding that much more successful and fun. She even followed up with me afterwards to make sure I was completely satisfied.
The food was a hit, and I didn't have a thing to worry about that day with catering. Grand Slam food, service and pricing! -

We were hosting a training event at Bridgestone and I had placed an order for 30 people. Not even 15 mins into the lunch my boss called me and said that the food was already gone and she was very disappointed that some people didn't get to eat. I had to do a rush order at Jimmy John's to accommodate the other's who hadn't eaten. I was disappointed that this happened as I had ordered lunch all week from other vendors, and everyday we had so many leftovers so I thought for sure this would be the case with your lunch order. We won't be ordering from you in the future unfortunately. But the quality of food was great from what I heard. The issue was that there wasn't enough food. -

The food was amazing, everything tasted phenomenal, but we were not satisfied with how much food we recieved for paying the amount we did. There were plenty of ribs and beans, but there was not enough chicken for the amount of people we paid for. -

I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. Each year I would received a 10% discount, this year I was refused the discount. Also every year there is a special order and every year there are mistakes made. -

The order was completely messed up. The "Naked Chicken" order was NOT correct. They were only providing us with 9 pcs of chicken (which should have been a platter after correcting the staff). We had to beg for utensils and plates. No serving spoons were included. Overall, the staff were NOT very professional and I'm very displeased with this arrangement. -

I was highly disappointed at the size of the portions. We paid so much money for the food and when I saw the amount of it I was shocked! We ordered food for 25 people and what we received seemed like food enough for 10. The food was really good but portion wise it was ridiculously small per person and super expensive. I will not order catering from Famous Dave's again and I would not recommend them for catering. -
