I had my wedding at Falkenstein Castle and my reception at the Fountain View Reception Center and I could not be happier with how my wedding turned out. The castle did not need any decoration it was beautiful as it was and Gretchen the Coordinator that works with the castle made sure that everyone knew what to do and had an itinerary for everyone. I do not think I could have done this without her. Mark the photographer with the castle took so many pictures that we are having a hard time deciding which ones to get prints of. Yes that is correct, this venue comes with a Coordinator, a photographer, the ceremony space and the reception space and is reasonably priced. everyone is very nice and professional. they really took care of us and are continuing to even after the wedding with the pictures. I would definitely recommend this venue if you are trying to get away from the "country rustic" wedding theme like I was.

My husband and I planned our wedding at Falkenstein Castle and the reception at Fountain View Reception Hall for April 4, 2011. I was very hesitant of how the wedding/reception would go with being out of state and not seeing anything until the day of the wedding. All my fears and anxiety were put to rest when everything went without a hitch. Gretchan ran everything so smooth that I didn't have to worry about a thing. I was able to enjoy myself and visit with all my friends and family that came for Michael and my wedding. Mark took some amazing photo's and once I get them it's going to be hard not to want everyone of them! Thank you both so much for everything. I also want to thank Terry and Kim for opening up your home to allow people like Michael and I to have our wedding at your home!

Located 50 miles west of Austin, this 174,240-square-foot castle feels like something out of a dream. Modeled after the Neuschwanstein castle in Germany, Falkenstein Castle captures the romance and culture of a different period. You can exchange vows in dramatic fashion in the Gothic Chapel, with its arched doors, 35-foot-high ceilings and hand-carved French altar. Then proceed for scenic photo ops by the Lily Pond or Butterfly Garden.

This venue makes for an absolutely gorgeous ceremony, the plus is that there is really no needed ceremony decorations because the chapel is stunning on its own. The chapel is a bit small but the beauty overcomes it all.
