Derek was a WONDERFUL DJ for our outdoor, last minute event. So Professional, so eager to play any request, came early to set up, worked very hard and engaged the crowd. He is so professional and absolutely so personable and all the guests loved him. Highly recommend his service and we could not have asked for anyone better to DJ our special event! -

Absolutely amazing company!
Derek and his team were exceptional! We used them for a bundle package that included 2 photographers, videographer, and DJ. Derek is very responsive to all emails, calls, and texts. We were able to look through the available photographers profiles to choose the style we liked. We were originally supposed to get married in 2020 but due to the pandemic we had to cancel. They held onto our original deposit and payments and easily accommodated us for our new date. We received our pictures within 2-3 weeks after the wedding and we are in love with them! I absolutely recommend Falcon Films! -

Our entire crew was phenomenal between the photographers and videographers! They captured all of the little things and all of the fun and love in every photo. Falcon Film Studios was phenomenal to work with. The entire planning process was super easy and Derek was always available by phone or email for any and all questions that we had. Chazz is amazing! My husband and I are both camera shy and he helped us feel comfortable for our engagement pictures and that feeling carried into our wedding day. He was there for anything that we needed the day of and made sure that we were feeling confident and stress free. Our DJ Devyn was awesome as well and kept the party going all night long! The dance floor was always occupied once it was opened up! And our photo booth attendant was also amazing! He found my husband and I 15 minutes before the photo booth closed to make sure we had a chance to use it. The photo book that was made up from it is definitely going to be something we look back at the rest of our lives. I cannot say enough good things about this company and they are worth every penny plus some!!! -

If I were to look all over again for a photographer and videographer for a wedding I would hands down choose Derek and his team over and over again. They do such an incredible job and treat you so well. Trust- that you are in great hands for your big day. My husband and I hired Derek and his team which the package we chose included two photographers, two videographers, and a day of planner. Let me tell you the day of planner is an absolute necessity. We loved Ashlyn and found her so attentive and supportive to help us through our big day. Derek and his team though are absolutely phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to capture pictures and memories that will last a lifetime. I can relive my day all over again. This is so important since your wedding day flies by so fast. Now I have these treasured memories forever thanks to Falcon Films. -

Great at what they do!
I'm not going to lie, it feels weird to have camera people following you watching your every move. We can honestly say that Chris and made us feel so comfortable. They were so down to earth and made it really fun! We haven't gotten our video yet, but are excited to see what they did with the footage they got. We also got their Photobooth which was a hit with our guests. Its unique and fun, just wish we would have added some uplighting to change the colors in the background of the photos. Thank You Derek! You have some great people working with/for you. -

Falcon Film Studios went above and beyond and captured amazing photos of our wedding day that we will cherish forever. Derek and his team made our wedding perfect. It was very stressful re planning a wedding during a pandemic, but Falcon Film Studios was there for us every step of the way. They were more than willing to travel up north when we couldn't have a wedding downstate. They were supportive and made sure to capture every photo we wanted. All of our pictures turned out beautiful and we are forever grateful! I highly recommend them and look forward to having them to take pictures of our wedding celebration next year. -

The most important thing for us when planning our wedding was making sure we had a team that could capture photos and videos that showed the romance and beauty of our day and Falcon Film Studio delivered that for us. From our very first consult with Derek and his team, they were very attentive to our needs and wants, flexible, friendly, professional and VERY timely! Because of our amazing experience after meeting the team we decided to book them for our photography, video, DJ and photo booth. Along with the services mentioned they were there every step of the way willing to go above and beyond to make sure our day was special.
The photo/video team was amazing!! For photography, we had the pleasure of working with Derek and Steven. They showed up, introduced themselves to the group and started the fun! One thing I really appreciated is the fact that they addressed my wedding party and family by name! It made everything so comfortable and personal! Their pictures were authentic, romantic, and so creative!! We worked with Jake and Brandon for our video. It was obvious from the first shots that they knew exactly what they were doing! They captured the prefect amount of romance and fun! Because the falcon team has worked together, they played off of each others creativity and also knew how to stay out of each others way. Devin was our DJ and he ROCKED! He joined us for our ceremony and our reception. His music 100% matched the mood throughout the day and he answered every request our guests had with the BIGGEST smile on his face and kept our dance floor full! The DJ lighting and our up lighting creates the perfect ambiance! Our photo booth was also a huge hit! It was unlike any one I had every seen before and was perfect for big group photos! Andrew was super professional and attentive to us and our guests.
I would HIGHLY recommend Falcon Film Studios to anyone who needs any of the services mentioned above. They were a great team to work with; fun, professional, creative and they will forever be part of our family! Thank you so much for helping to make our day so special!

This team is the best of the best. We used Falcon Film for our photography and I don’t know that I would ever go anywhere else for photography ever again.
Derek led the charge and handled all of our questions with patience and kindness. We actually had to completely re-work our wedding in just a few months and Derek was very helpful and understanding. He called and checked in as much as we wanted and made sure everything was perfect for the day of.
Now, Brock and Chazz were our shooters for the day. They honestly became a part of our family. They captured everything with such a unique eye and captured everything we wanted and more. They were never in our way but rather were mingling and enjoying the day right beside us. Their kindness, humor, and professionalism is only matched by their talent and eye for gorgeous photos. We got our photos back (WITHIN A WEEK!!) and they are breathtaking and more than I ever could have hoped for. Brock took the lead on recreating some of my parents wedding photos on Belle Isle and they are so perfect and so very special. With these guys, everyone was so comfortable and well taken care of and made to look fabulous. My nephew, our ring bearer, was so fascinated by all the photos and Chazz was the sweetest with him, helping him to take some pictures and acting as family rather than just our photographer. I could go on and on, but I’d just get repetitive. This company is the best and they know what they’re doing. Given the chance to do it all again, I’d reserve them even sooner. -

There are not enough words to describe how incredible this company is. Derek the owner is so kind, professional and personable. He called quite a few times just to check in to make sure we were doing okay and happy with all the services. Brock was our lead photographer and truly made the day even better. He is so laid back and does incredible work. His attention to detail and experience put my mind at ease to know we were getting the best pictures. I was so confident in his work that I literally took THREE pictures on my phone the whole entire day. Devin was our DJ and he was awesome at reading the crowd and hosting the event. He was so flexible and went with the flow when I changed things at the last minute on him. He was also super easy-going and truly added to the atmosphere of the night. He took our requests and worked everything together seamlessly. Andrew was our photo booth operator and was so much fun and helpful! We also had videography with this company and the attention to detail was just incredible. They took their time, reviewed what they had before moving on to make sure it was perfect and even had drones to take some incredible shots of our venue. I cannot say enough great things about this company and the men and woman who are a part of it. I am so thankful we chose them and would recommend them to everyone! -

What a day !!!! The wedding went off without a hitch. We had photography and video for the whole day. Starting at the Marriott Rennisance Center in the morning, taking shots and Video through out the whole facility. We headed over to the whiskey Distillery for the wedding and reception. They provided up lighting and a free standing photo booth for the evening along with a kick-ass DJ. “ They were the wedding” they got around, behind, below, above, everyone to get the best photo’s. We received our digital photographs back in a few days. Just beautiful. We are waiting on our video which takes time to put together, but other than that “ High five” to everyone who made our day so special, love you guys. -

Alecia Sent on 08/19/2018After meeting with a few different companies looking for a DJ for our wedding, we had our meeting with Peter and knew he was it! Peter was professional and sold himself so well. He's been in the business for a long time and knows exactly what he's doing. We received so many compliments on him and how well he played music of all different genre's. He knew the right times to play particular music and checked in with us throughout the night seeing if we wanted to hear anything, when to do the garter/bouquet toss. Peter was awesome the entire day! We also used Falcon Film for our Photo Booth and it is the coolest Photo Booth i've ever seen! Inflatable with tons of lights and props - Brock from Falcon Film worked it for us and gave us the photo album at the end of the night with a copy of everyone's time.
We would recommend Falcon Film to anyone!

Peter was very attentive all evening making sure everything went as smoothly as possible and kept the dance floor going all night. Derek was absolutely AMAZING! He made me feel so comfortable all day actually acted as my day of wedding planner. He kept everyone going and on time and made me feel like he truly cared about me and making sure my day went perfectly. He was attentive and good natured and kept a smile on everyone's face. Both Brock and Derek were creative and listened to what we wanted. The photos came back to us within a week! And they are outstanding! I would highly recommend Falcom Film Studio for both DJ and photography! Outstanding :)

Peter did an awesome job as the DJ! He's so organized and detail oriented. He ensures everything is put together, organized and ready to go so that you can enjoy the day of the wedding. The entire day ran so smooth and flawless. He put together the ceremony music, and the reception music and he nailed the entertainment! I've gone to a lot of weddings and it's not easy keeping people on the dance floor, but Peter had everyone's attention and kept up the good vibes all night long! Entertainment and photography are what the guest remember most after he wedding is over and I know my guest are still impressed with both of the services that Falcon Film Studios provided for us. Kerry Sent on 07/24/2018Falcon Film Studios was chosen because they specified that they had experience with our genre of music we wanted played. We were looking for a modern style of music with mostly K Pop and J Pop played, along with some specific music from video games we selected. He accommodated all of our requests in terms of songs we asked him to play, and he also mixed in some standard wedding music that people like to dance to, which is cool. However, most of the group that was at the wedding was younger and more interested in K Pop and J Pop. We were hoping he would choose more random songs that he may have had from his collection, but we only really heard one or two that were outside of what we sent him, which made us kinda question the selection he actually had. This might be worth noting if you're looking for a more peculiar type of wedding music. The biggest issue we experienced was lack of communication. There were multiple times where he plain forgot about us, and we had to send him a reminder about what is going on. This continued even up until a few days before the wedding where we didn't hear a thing until we sent him a message first. With all of our other vendors, they initiated all of the communication. Value is average to maybe being on the high side. Everything else seemed to go smoothly and people had a good time. The photo booth was a giant hit and getting a photo album to see what everyone was up to was one of our favorite parts. -

My wife and I had used this company for our photography and DJ. As a new husband, it is terrible to see how excited she was that she picked a good company, but what we experience this this company is terrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company FOR ANY WEDDING SERVICE!
- Falcon Film Studios sent us an inexperienced and minor to shoot our wedding (16 years old)
- We never got notified that our assigned photographer was not attending and who we were getting to replace him
- He was on his phone while the sun was setting and my wife had to get up and go ask him if we could do sunset photos which is UNNACEPTABLE that the Bride, my wife, had to do that.
- He put us directly in the sunset for photos and when my wife told him that we couldn’t see because of the light he said, “close your eyes and then open quick and I will take the photo then”. This is what Falcon Film Studios considers to be a suitable back up staff for emergencies…. THIS IS TERRIBLE SERVICE!
- This company did not get our photos delivered in one week after the event as stipulated in the original contract.
• The inexperienced and minor photographer did not know what hand our rings were on and asked three separate times to myself, the maid of honour and my wife.
• We received edited photos…. However, the standard of those photos are UNACCEPTABLE AND TERRIBLE. For the sunset photos, the sunset background is primarily white, it was a beautiful sunset and he edited it complete out, there are red dots from the lens on my face and suit, the edit he used made my wife and the bridesmaid makeup look like Halloween makeup, all our first dance photos are extremely dark to the point we don’t recognize ourselves, where the photographer told the bridal party and family to go for photos all the photos have shadows all other outfit and face, my beautiful white shirt is blue in most photos, and he didn’t edit anything out of the background (like wires).
• On our phone call with the company owner Derek, he was rude, condescending and interrupted my wife numerous times when she was expressing her concerns. I was there for the entire conversation and was DISHEARTENDED by the way he spoke and conducted business.
• We were told by Derek that our photos were “salvageable” and that they could get the sunset back into my photos, change the edit and fix the things I wanted. Not only did we pay for quality professional photos, but this should have been completed prior to sending it to us. Why would he send us “salvageable photos” in the first place. THIS IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE.
• he offered us remedies but only if we would sign an agreement.
• Derek kept telling us that he would provide us with remedies and says he will do so “in good faith efforts to remedy any issues” but in my opinion he NEVER acted in good faith. How is it good faith when he requires wife and I to sign away our rights to voice our opinion on the product we received. The agreements state we must withdraw any previous comments or statements I said about Derek or Falcon Film Studios, that I cannot make any additional comments or reviews. The agreement had unfair terms and conditions, such as “This agreement protects Falcon Film Studios LLC in regards to any product or service received by the clients from Falcon Film Studios LLC”, “ The Clients agree that they will not pursue Falcon Film Studios LLC, Falcon Film Studios or Derek for any further value whether it be monetary or anything other than”, “The Clients agree that the projects delivered are indeed complete.”, “The Clients agree that they shall not at any time engage in any form of conduct, or make any statements or representations, whether in writing or orally, that disparage or otherwise impair the reputation, goodwill or commercial interests of Falcon Film Studios LLC, Falcon Film Studios or Derek.” And “ The Clients agree that they shall not at any time engage in any form of conduct, or make any statements or representations, whether in writing or orally, that mention any dealings, contracts, arrangements with Falcon Film Studios LLC, Falcon Film Studios or Derek Gauci”.
• We did not feel as though Derek was being fair and reasonable when discussing his company, and the customer service was the worse I have ever experienced.
• Derek told us via email “If you or anyone associated with you attempts to defame or slander my company, I will take legal action for defamation”. He made me feel like I was the problem, like I am bullying him and like I am being unfair….
• we feel as though he tactically manipulated each conversation for his best interests
• we will not be bullied by legal language and fear of him taking legal action because my wife and speak the truth, truth in our experience working with Derek and Falcon Film Studios.
• For Falcon Film Studios to provide any remedy, because for Derek to provide a remedy to us that agreement needs to be signed. An agreement that we would have sign before seeing any product, agree that it is complete.
• He treated us like another cheque for his company and did not treat us as a quality customer. He made us feel like he is only concerned with the quantity of bookings versus the quality he provides to his paying customers. THIS IS NOT OKAY!!
FALCON FILM STUDIOS and DEREK, the company owner, is NOT fair and is does NOT conduct a professional business!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY for ANY SERVICE!!! -

PLEASE READ before booking FALCON FILM STUDIOS for your wedding!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND FALCON FILM STUDIOS because of how the company and specifically the company owner DEREK treated me as not only the Bride, but how they treated me as a paying customer. The company owner Derek from Falcon Film Studios, in my opinion and experience having them be a part of my wedding, do not conduct business with integrity, fair, nor professional. This review is very long, but I wanted to make it VERY clear that I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company FOR ANY WEDDING SERVICE!
My wedding was October 5th, 2024, in Michigan at our family home. I booked Falcon Film Studios for my photographer and DJ. For starters, one of the perks of their photography packages is that you get a choice of your lead photographer. I then reached out to Derek, the owner of Falcon Film Studios and inquired. He then replied with acknowledging that I could choose and provided me with several photographer options. I then looked up each of the offered photographers and emailed Derek back indicating which one I felt would match my husband and I best. He then emailed me back and said “currently, your photographer has been assigned” and to my disappoint, it was not the photographer I wanted. I didn’t make a fuss because I felt like it was out of my control and so I looked up my assigned photographer’s portfolio provided to me by Derek. I was satisfied at this point with who he assigned to our wedding. Now fast forward to the week before our wedding, I was informed by Derek that we would have a “Final Consultation” phone call Monday September 30th, 2024, between the hours of 9AM and 5PM (Monday before my wedding). I never received my phone call, so I emailed again and never heard back until the following day. On Tuesday October 1st, 2024, I received an email from Derek indicating that they have moved the conversation to a group text message instead with my DJ, but not my photographer. I started texting with both my DJ and Derek, I barely got prompt responses and had a phone call with my DJ a couple days before my wedding which was very stressful. I never got to speak to my photographer once for the final consultation.
On October 5th, 2024, our wedding day, not only was our photographer late arriving, but it was not the photographer I was assigned. When our photographer finally showed up, he said to me “did Derek tell you that your photographer was not able to make it anymore?” I said no, I never received an email from Derek, nor Falcon Film Studios that my assigned photographer was no longer attending. When we booked Falcon Film Studios what they promise is a “suitable back up staff for emergencies”. The photographer that they sent me was a 16-year-old…. A 16-year-old to do my professional wedding photos. I thought, okay, nothing I could do about this now as he’s the photographer that was sent. I started to notice his inexperience right away. He told my husband that not only is he the photographer taking our wedding photos but he will be editing them as well. He asked myself, my husband and my maid of honour (three times) which hand our rings go on and which one of my rings is the engagement ring and wedding band (nobody has ever asked me that, it’s obvious). When he came down to doing portraits of myself, my husband and couple shots, he did not know what he was doing. The photographer put us directly facing the sunlight and when I said, “I cannot see with the light, my eyes are squinting” he said to us “close your eyes and then open quick and I will take the photo then”. This is what Falcon Film Studios considers to be a suitable back up staff for emergencies, simply unacceptable!
I had worked so hard on my wedding timeline, as I had no day of coordinator, so I had sent Derek my timeline in advance. I asked my young photographer if Derek had sent him my timeline and he replied with “no”. I gave him my detailed timeline outlining all the important things that he would need to capture. Towards sunset, I seen the sun starting to set and the photographer was eating and on his phone. I, the Bride, had to go up to him and say that the sun is setting, and can we please go to sunset photos. So, I had to go out of my way, on my wedding day and remind the photographer that I paid $2,200.00 for about sunset photos. And if I didn’t do that, I would have missed the sunset.
After our wedding, I knew what Falcon Film Studios promised, “1 Week Delivery of Fully Edited Photos” and to my surprise they did not meet this. I received a text message from my photographer that he would not be able to deliver my photos today (a week after my wedding as stipulated in the contract) because he was at another wedding and told me the wait will be worth it. The following day was the day it all sunk in, that I did not receive professional edited photos that one would expect from a company that has overall good reviews and who have won many awards. I did not receive adequate edited photos; I received edited photos; however, the standard of those photos is very poor. For the sunset photos, the sunset background is primarily white, it was a beautiful sunset and he edited it complete out (like he edited the sunset out of the photo or used the wrong setting), there are red dots from the lens on my husband’s face and suit, the edit he used made mine and others makeup look like Halloween makeup, all my first dance photos are extremely dark (he edited the photos so dark I don’t recognize myself), where the photographer told the bridal party and family to go for photos… all the photos have shadows all over our outfits and face, my husband’s beautiful white shirt is blue in most photos, and he didn’t edit anything out of the background (like wires and junk). Throughout, my photographer kept asking what else do you guys want to do, asking us what poses we wanted, he did not do any other poses other than just standing side my side to one another.
When I received the photos, I felt so discouraged and disappointed. All my friends and family that witnessed the quality we received on wedding day and the “edited” photos we received… are awful. Nobody in my life could even pretend and lie to me that they were good, all everyone said was “those are not professional photos”. So, I emailed Derek from Falcon Film Studios for him to make this right. My husband and I were both there during the phone call and when I expressed my concerns, Derek voiced that he would make this right and provide remedies so that I am happy with the product I received. However, he was not very rude and condescending. He said that the photographer I was supposed to have had an emergency the morning of my wedding day. Then Derek said, “not that you would care, but he was on his grandmother’s death bed”. How rude, to insinuate that I don’t care about people. When I told him that if I knew I was receiving an inexperienced and a unprepared for my wedding, I would have never booked his company, he made me feel like I was discriminating against age (which I am not ageist), that the inexperienced and unprepared photographer is one of their top photographers for them and that he has done 50 weddings. I had written down things I wanted to mention on the phone, but Derek interrupted me many times and I told him at least twice I just wanted to finish telling him my thoughts and he told me “ I am really busy today and took time out of my day for you”… Derek did not make me feel good at all, made me feel like I was being unreasonable and that he did not truly care about my experience. Derek will tell you in the same breath that “I am here for you” but his actions speak otherwise. At the end of this phone conversation, I was told by Derek that my photos were “salvageable” and that they could get the sunset back into my photos, change the edit and fix the things I wanted. If you are saying I paid for fully edited and professional photos, I shouldn’t need to ask. All this should have already been done prior to sending me my photos. No Bride should receive photos that are “salvageable”. Derek said they would re-edit my photos and have them delivered in 3 days, that he would send me all my raw photos so that I could pick additional photos to be edited and then he mentioned his team would send over a contract with a possible refund. 3 days go by nothing, a week goes by nothing, so I texted Derek’s work phone number looking for an update. Derek’s work phone number was given to me by the photographer. When I followed up, a female replied and when I asked to speak to Derek, they just simply never replied and said they would try and get it done today. He promised me re-edited photos in 3 days and a week and half later, I got an email… no photos included, just a ridiculous agreement.
Derek sent me an agreement that he wanted both my husband and I to sign. In the first contract, he only wanted me to sign, but this time he wanted us both to sign, for one reason, to cover himself from anyone making reviews and displaying their experiences working with Falcon Film Studios. Derek will provide you with remedies and says he will do so “in good faith efforts to remedy any issues” but in my opinion he is not acting in good faith. How is it good faith when he requires both my husband, and I to sign away our rights to voice our opinion on the product we received. The agreements state I must withdraw any previous comments or statements I said about Derek or Falcon Film Studios, that I cannot make any additional comments or reviews. The agreement had unfair terms and conditions, such as “This agreement protects Falcon Film Studios LLC in regards to any product or service received by the clients from Falcon Film Studios LLC”, “ The Clients agree that they will not pursue Falcon Film Studios LLC, Falcon Film Studios or Derek for any further value whether it be monetary or anything other than”, “The Clients agree that the projects delivered are indeed complete.”, “The Clients agree that they shall not at any time engage in any form of conduct, or make any statements or representations, whether in writing or orally, that disparage or otherwise impair the reputation, goodwill or commercial interests of Falcon Film Studios LLC, Falcon Film Studios or Derek.” And “ The Clients agree that they shall not at any time engage in any form of conduct, or make any statements or representations, whether in writing or orally, that mention any dealings, contracts, arrangements with Falcon Film Studios LLC, Falcon Film Studios or Derek” This is just a small portion of the agreement what Derek was trying to get my husband and I to sign. I did not feel as though Derek was being fair and reasonable when discussing his company, the customer service was the worse I have ever experienced. Derek offered us a $300 refund…. Because he said he stands behind the delivery I received. Which I found to be a slap in the face and was so disheartening. When I felt I was not being heard, I asked him for a full refund, and he said anything over 50% refund we would lose our rights to our photos. So, I then emailed back stating, I would like a 50% refund, keep my rights to the photos and that he would never hear from me again. He sent me his previous email again ignoring my request and just offered me $300 again. I then told him I’m not doing this anymore, and for him to make this right and told him how I didn’t feel this is right and he got defensive and said that “If you or anyone associated with you attempts to defame or slander my company, I will take legal action for defamation”. He made me feel like I was the problem, like I am bullying him and like I am being unfair…. I feel as though he manipulated each conversation for his best interests and its wild to me that it has come down to this. That agreement does not benefit the customer in any way, why would one sign a contract that does not benefit them without seeing a delivered product? Especially when the product received is the primary issue. His remedies were unreasonable to a paying customer of his who was paying for professional services.
I speak the truth and the truth only. I will not be bullied by legal language and fear of him taking legal action because I speak my truth, truth in my experience working with Derek and Falcon Film Studios. Derek made me feel as though I am not free to make reviews of my experience and to outline the truth to what happened with a company. As per these examples, please tell me how this benefits the customer? I DO NOT RECOMMEND For Falcon Film Studios to provide any remedy, because for Derek to provide a remedy to us that agreement needs to be signed. An agreement that I would have sign before seeing any product, agree that it is complete (even if you haven’t seen the completed product), and wave my right to have any further issues with the product trusting that they will get it right the second time. This is not okay, this is not fair, not honourable, not reasonable and this is not in good faith. You only want what works best for you and not me, the customer.
The Consumer Review Fairness Act, states that I am protected to share my honest opinions about businesses product, services or conduct, in any form, including social media”, and Derek putting in his agreement, that I must withdraw any comments and not allowing me to make sure comments, is Falcon Film Studios not complying. This act makes it illegal for a company to use a contract that provisions that “restricts the ability of a person who is a party to that contract to review a company’s product, service or conduct”, and “imposes a penalty or fee against someone who gives a review”.
I have attached photos to this review, my maid of honour bought a photo editing app and reedited my photos for me. I have attached some side-by-side photos of what I received from Falcon Film Studios compared to the edit my maid of honour did and she has zero editing experience.
