Absolutely Amazing!

Faith was amazing. My sister hired her 10 years ago for her wedding so I knew I would get great pictures. I forgot how great she is, she was non-stop taking pictures and so helpful getting everyone in the right spots. The final results were amazing, it was a grey windy day and with the family pictures we took outside, we weren’t sure how they were going to come out but they were all amazing. For a couple that aren’t always smiley she managed to get so many candid pictures of us naturally smiling at one another. Even though she was constantly taking pictures it was still incredible at how many pictures she sent to us. I would highly recommend her to anyone for their event.

Incredible organization, talent, and attitude!

Faith was recommended to us by some friends, and it was the best advice we ever took! We felt as though we had hired an incredible photographer, and a wedding planner, and made a new friend all at once. She was incredibly thorough every step of the way, and created a detailed and well planned timeline for the entire day. The entire wedding would have been 3c as stressful if not for Faith! She knows all the ins and outs of our Newport Venue, (even right down to the exact minute for sunset photos) and I’m sure she would be just as amazing off the island. Could not have been happier with her as a photographer or as a person. She is young, but experienced, organized, but not bossy. Look no further thank Faith, you will NOT miss a single picture, and the day will run like clockwork!

Winter Wonderland Weddinf

Faith was beyond wonderful to work with as our photographer through our wedding process. From our engagement photos to our wedding day and then our photo album, she provided us with high quality work throughout along with exquisite professionalism. She did a great job with deciphering our visualization for our engagement photos and wedding day and creating poses and finding locations to match everything we had spoken about. She took the time to meet with me for hours, whether it be in person or on phone, prior to our photo shoots. I loved the way she edited our photos for they looked high definition quality and color and very natural. Did not appear over edited at all. Faith has a wonderful personality to work with and fit along great with our big Italian family. She has photographed two of my cousins wedding and now mine, so we consider her our family photographer! Highly recommend for your big day!

Faith is wonderful!

We booked Faith for our wedding in 2020 and absolutely love her. She did our engagement photos in September and they were so beautiful. Her pictures are bright and fun and romantic.

Absolutely Incredible Wedding Professional

Faith was fantastic right from the start. She has a wonderful, warm personality that puts you right at ease. We had a great first meeting and she walked me through every detail of the day, and made some really helpful suggestions. We had a total of three meetings, in-person and on the phone, before my wedding. The day of the wedding she did a great job corralling my family before the ceremony and had inventive ideas for photo locations. She and her assistant, Theresa (also fantastic), were all over our reception capturing every detail. The photos were exquisite and she had them to us within two weeks of our wedding. Faith did an impeccable job capturing the most important day of her life, and I would recommend her to anyone planning their wedding.

The Absolute Best!

Cannot recommend a better or nicer photographer than Faith Dugan! Faith came highly recommended from friends who had also used her at their wedding. At first meeting, Faith was inquisitive and really got what my husband and I were looking for. At the rehearsal photoshoot, she made us feel comfortable and we honestly had a blast! Faith maintains incredible and communication and is so accommodating. We couldn't be happier with the photos from our wedding! To be honest, my husband and I are both pretty un-photogenic and she caught is at our happiest and loveliest! And, I have to mention, when my bustle kept disconnecting, Faith saved the day with a couple of extra pins. She's the best and completely irreplaceable!!!!

Loved working with Faith!

Faith is incredible. She photographed my mothers wedding ceremony two years ago and when I got married, she was the first person we booked! Faith is very easy to talk to and immediately understood what we wanted from our ceremony and our photographs. She's a pleasure to work with and it really shows in the pictures, she has an amazing way of putting everyone at ease. Plus, the final photos are amazing! Where do I begin...Faith is simply AMAZING! She has a way of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and is so incredibly thorough and professional with her work. She did our engagement photos which came out so beautiful and shared a sneak peak of our wedding photos and I truly was at a loss for words. I can't wait to see the rest of our images! I cannot say enough positive things about Faith! We had our wedding in Newport, RI (a destination for us coming from NY/CT) and all of the planning that I had to do was done via email or phone calls. Many of the vendors that I worked with treated us like we were just another 'notch' in the wedding belt for them, but not Faith. She made the entire process (from when we first got engaged til this day, almost 3 months after my wedding!) so personal and so special for us. She checked in with me constantly to see how I was doing and if I needed anything, and that's something that meant a lot to me. The day of was a dream, and Faith made it all the more special for us. She was supporting us around the clock and never got in the way of anything - she was by far my favorite vendor we chose. The pictures she took came out INCREDIBLE. Everyone that we know has asked us who our photographer was, and that our pictures look like they should be in a magazine. She is a sweetheart and truly cares about each and every one of her clients. If you are looking to get married in the New England area then Faith is your girl!

I am over the moon with my wedding pictures! We are so happy with our coverage. Faith accommodated all of my photography requests and paid special attention to my family's photo-needs. She kept us on time and we were able to spend plenty of time with our guests. I never felt in the dark at anytime before or after the wedding. Our pictures will be cherished for a lifetime and we are so thrilled with our experience from start to finish. Highly recommend especially to busy brides from out-of-state. Faith knows her stuff and helped me plan my day. She even answered my numerous non-photography related questions and assisted me in assembling a wonderful vendor team for my day.

Faith is amazing! She was so on top of it from our very first communication with her.

We planned our small wedding from the West Coast and were nervous about vendor selections because we weren’t going to be able to meet in person with everyone before the actual wedding. I will say that after talking with Faith via FaceTime we had no worries about not meeting her in person before the wedding. She answered all of our questions and helped us think about things we hadn’t thought of!

Day of wedding, Faith was everything we wanted! She quickly learned everyone’s names, made everyone feel comfortable and worked at a fast pace to get in all of the fun shots!

We had a very cold and windy wedding day in July... it wasn’t “the plan” but Faith was quick to come up with great shots and ventured out into the elements with us. She’s adventurous, creative, high energy, and great with family dynamics.

If your favorite person in the whole world had a baby with your best friend, Faith Dugan would be the result. From day one Faith was over-the-top professional, organized, warm, and excited.

My husband and I searched for a while trying to find a photographer. Of all the to-do items on our wedding list, finding someone to capture the day was number one. It was important to us that we keep the day light and fun. We wanted few posed pictures but more importantly, to spend as much time with guests and capture those candid moments. Somehow, Faith managed to juggle both with a smile on her face the entire time. She even took the time to ensure that any family must-haves or must-not-haves :) were taken care of while we sat back and enjoyed ourselves.

I'd also like to mention that I wanted to write a review BEFORE seeing the images (yes, she's that good). However, Faith insisted that I wait to make sure the photos were perfect. After reviewing the pictures, I only have one complaint...there are too many beautiful shots to choose from :) :) :)

If you're deciding on a photographer for your wedding day, stop the search and call Faith. She's much more than a photographer; she helped me organize my wedding, stay calm, and stay on budget! After marrying my husband, she's the best decision I've made :)

The minute my wife and I met Faith we knew right away that we wanted her for are wedding. She went above and beyond and did a amazing job. Recently, in a move. We lost are picture CD. I gave Faith a call to see if she had a copy. To find out, Faith had everything on file and sent the pictures to me the same day. I would definitely recommend her for any Photography needs.

I can honestly say that Faith and her husband were the reason that our wedding went so perfectly, was so organized, and made my wedding FAR better than I ever expected!! She is 110% organized, professional, and the kindest person you will ever meet. She is extremely talented, creative, and passionate about every single thing that she does.

She makes the process much more than just taking photos for your wedding, from the initial stages of planning, to spending many sessions reviewing what was important to my husband and I, and Faith getting to know both of us, I felt that she should have been a guest at the wedding by the end of it! She had so many creative, realistic, and beautiful ideas, and I had my complete trust in her in everything that she did. She created a timeline that helped our day run smoothly, without rushing, and making sure that we got every single shot that I had asked for. She was extremely responsive, and sent many encouraging texts and check-ins during the planning process. She goes above and beyond in the presentation of her work, and in everything that she does.

We got our photos back within 6 weeks, and got waaayyy more than we expected. Each photo is magazine worthy, beautiful in both its color and dynamic. She was able to truly capture the full emotion, feeling, sentiment of the day, and captured many special moments that I would never have seen otherwise. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and organization is one of a kind and I am truly honored to work with her.

I am beyond pleased with HOW much she truly went above and beyond to make this day so perfect, to truly listen to what was important to us, and in getting to know my husband and I SO well. I do not have enough kind words to say about her, except she will absolutely make your wedding the best day ever! :)

Faith is extremely talented and passionate about what she does. I could see that in her photographs-- each photo made me swoon and I just knew I had to go with her for my wedding. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I made for the wedding! My husband was also very impressed that I found such an amazing photographer! The pictures that Faith took for our wedding came out absolutely incredible. We had a very long shot list, as well as large family group shots etc. Faith captured everything I wanted and more. She caught many moments of my guests that I missed, and am so happy it was caught on camera. I was worried about not knowing how to pose for the couple portraits, but once we were there, Faith & Jefferson made us feel so comfortable and they just took over telling us exactly what to do. They knew what they were doing because the pictures came out stunning!

Besides her wonderful talent, she's a lovely person and so sweet. She really goes above and beyond for her brides. I didn't have a wedding planner, so she helped me out with recommending vendors and helping me plan out the timeline for the day. She has so much experience that she will tell you exactly what you need to hear. I didn't realize this when I was planning my wedding, but on the day, you spend a lot of time with your photographer, and I am so glad it was her. Not only did I enjoy her company, she was a very calming presence when things got stressful. My husband, my mom, my sister etc, all of us were so happy with Faith and how the photos came out-- we all agree that they were one of the best vendors we chose for the wedding!

When we got engaged, I knew the first vendor we needed to book was Faith Dugan Photography. We met Faith and Jefferson when they photographed our friend’s wedding. I loved Faith and Jefferson’s personalities and style. Such nice, extremely talented people! Faith could also be a 5-star wedding planner. She has such a talent for attention to detail and helped me vision my entire wedding, not just the photos. Faith was the first person to call me after news broke that Atlantic Beach Club was sold to Longwood Venues. I am so thankful for Faith’s advice as we stayed with the new company and had our reception at the beautifully-renovated, brand new Longwood Venue Newport Beach House on April 30, 2016. During our first meeting, Faith had so many suggestions for photo options as well as suggestions for cake vendors and florists. I loved that Faith knows Newport so well. Even as a native Rhode Islander, Faith suggested photo locations and ideas that I would not have thought of. Faith and Jefferson were wonderful the day of the wedding, from the prep to the church to the reception. They were professional and fun and made the family and bridal party photos go so smoothly. At the reception, they captured all the important moments and pulled us aside at the right times for outdoor venue photos. Once the dancing began, you did not even know they were there, that is until we received the link for our online gallery. Faith and Jefferson did not miss a detail. They beautifully captured the most important moments of our wedding day and we are forever thankful. Faith and Jefferson have so much knowledge and experience photographing weddings and it shows in the quality of their work and the number of beautiful photos that we received to remember our wedding day. Where do I even begin? Faith is OUTSTANDING. Working with her was such a joy and one of the best memories of that day. Her and Jefferson are such a great team and make you feel completely comfortable and confident. I highly recommend doing an engagement shoot with her, you get a feel for how you two work and the style of photos - it makes the wedding day so much more fun! Faith is sweet in her direction and knows what she wants and what will make you look beautiful. She captures moments that you don't even know are there, and candids that have no captions, just pure happiness and love. She doesn't do 'cheesy' poses, everything is so authentic and real. I spent hours and hours comparing vendors and looking through galleries and immediately fell in love with her work. I just received our USB drive and the photos are stunning. From the light, the tone, the romantic softness, everything is perfect. Jefferson will capture the guys while you get ready with the girls, and from those moments on everything is photographed in a beautiful way. If you are reading this review, you are already on the right track, you will love Faith!

Faith was the absolute PERFECT photographer for our wedding this past May in Rhode Island. She was very professional and incredibly kind and helped make everyone feel comfortable and happy. She was able to capture many intimate moments without being noticed or intrusive. One of our main desires was to have photos taken outside in front of the water and the property and she was eager (despite the rain) to get us out there and capture these beautiful photos that we will cherish forever. My husband and I can do nothing but smile when we look at the incredible photos she took of our special day. I would absolutely recommend her to any future brides and grooms and I would love to be able to have her as a photographer for any other major events in my life.

My husband and I got married at Castle Hill Inn in Newport RI in August 2015. We used Faith for our rehearsal dinner photos and full day wedding photography and could not be more happy with the results of her and her husbands work! Picking a wedding photographer is one of the most stressful vendors because you will be interacting with them the entire day of your wedding and they are creating memories of your perfect day that you will cherish forever so you want to work with someone who is easy to work with but also has an amazing eye for photography and is an artist. With Faith & Jefferson you have both!

Faith is so sweet and working with her before, during and after our wedding is like working with your best friend. She was so easy to talk to during the planning process of our wedding and was so interested in every detail of our wedding before we even hired her. Throughout the planning process, I would email for advice on vendors and she was always so quick to respond and so helpful! On our wedding day my bridesmaids absolutely loved her and she made it so easy to act naturally in front of the camera for our bridal prep pictures. For our first look, her and Jefferson did an amazing job at setting up the area/getting the best lighting and taking amazing pictures without ruining the authenticity of my husband and I seeing each other for the first time. Our ceremony and reception pictures were absolute perfection and they captured every moment and more of what we had envisioned.

Faith's work speaks for itself (stunning)!! We couldn't be more happy with the results of our photos. Thank you Faith and Jefferson for the beautiful photos and album which we will cherish forever!

My wife and I were married at Belle Mer in Newport this past July. The venue is amazing so we knew that we needed a talented photographer. As soon as we met Faith we knew she was the perfect fit for our wedding. Faith and Jefferson felt like part of the family during the day of our wedding and we had an absolute blast with them. They were professional, energetic and FUN. After the wedding Faith would send out teasers on Facebook of our pictures while she was editing, which we thought was a great idea. Then we received our pictures and were completely blown away on how great they were. I would not change a single thing about our wedding day, especially our choice of Faith Dugan Photography, her and Jefferson are the best!

It is hard to put words around just how amazing it was to have Faith and Jefferson photograph our wedding. I had been a fan of Faith Dugan Photography long before I was engaged. Being an amateur photographer who loves Newport, I originally found Faith's blog when looking to find neat spots in Newport to take nature shots. Fast forward to getting engaged, there was no question in my mind who I wanted to trust with photographing our engagement shoot and wedding. When we had our engagement shoot with Faith, we had an absolute blast. She has an infectious smile and personality that makes you feel like you have known her for years. By the time the wedding rolled around, I felt like I had a friend shooting my wedding, not a vendor. And the dynamic between Faith and Jefferson during the wedding was great. On a day that is a complete whirlwind, we still remember Jefferson cracking jokes and my stomach hurting from laughing too hard, and him and Faith made everyone so comfortable during the day - which is reflected in the natural smiles and laughter that was captured through their lenses. And the pictures...well...let's just say we don't have enough wall space in my house to feature just our favorites. We agonized over picking just a couple pictures for the Save the Date from the engagement shoot and know selecting the pictures for our album will be a challenge as well! We didn't hire a videographer and didn't need to. Every single detail, special moment and big moments were captured amazingly. I would highly, highly, highly recommend Faith Dugan Photography to any bride. She is not only a true professional and artist but an awesome person to work with and someone you can trust entirely to perfectly capture the most important day of your life.

Faith and Jefferson are the best! They did both our engagement and wedding photography. They do way more than take and edit photographs. They work to get to know you personally and build relationships so that you can feel 100% comfortable. They also wrangle wedding party guests and family members with ease. They help you if anything goes wrong. Bobby pin out place, bustle coming loose? They have your back. The pictures they capture are swoonworthy works of art full of emotion and perfect lighting. Faith and her husband Jefferson were AMAZING. From the first meeting, I instantly felt a connection with Faith, and my husband and I knew we wanted her to be our photographer. Her portfolio is stunning, and her knowledge of Newport is great! She had photographed at our venue before, which was very important to us. She had great ideas for photos in between the ceremony and reception, as well, and because she knows the area so well she helped us plan our logistics so everything was timed perfectly and smoothly.

Our pre-wedding meetings and communication was great. I was so much less stressed because I knew my photographs would be in such good hands!

The way Faith can command a group of people to get together for a photograph is amazing! She kept us on track, and made sure all our requested photos were taken. We also wanted our dogs to come meet us in Newport for photos, and she did a great job photographing two energetic 2 year old pups.

Booking Faith Dugan Photography for our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made! Faith and Jefferson are extremely talented photographers and are such nice people! Throughout the wedding planning process, I often went to Faith for questions and advice. She always went above and beyond to answer any questions I had, and her recommendations really helped to make our wedding day perfect.

We hired Faith to capture both our engagement session and our wedding day. On both occasions, the weather was not fully cooperating. We had gotten married in Newport, RI on April 4th, and although the sun was shining, it was an exceptionally windy day. Standing out on the docks, with my hair and veil blowing all over the place, I was really worried with how the pictures were going to turn out. Thanks to Faith and Jefferson, the pictures came out better than we could have ever imagined! They really are extremely talented and can make the most of any situation. Thanks to them, I have hundreds of beautiful photographs from our wedding day!! I highly recommend Faith Dugan Photography!

Faith was the photographer for our October wedding in Newport, Rhode Island. The simplest way to describe Faith and her husband’s work is how we feel about our photos. Simply put, Faith captured the story of our wedding perfectly. Flipping the pages of our albums, , she literally captured a fairy tale for us. When you flip through our albums, you actually feel the emotion of each photo, and every moment of the day. She caught my cousin and sisters laughing as they buttoned my dress. You feel my Mom fighting back tears in the photo of her first seeing me. In the midst of all the madness, she captured the quick glance at my husband that put us both at ease. Her photos and images actually speak to you. Working with Faith and Jefferson was stress free, organized and beyond fun. We had an engagement photo session with Faith a few months before our wedding. As fairly camera shy people, we were both a bit nervous, but by the end of the session, we were so excited to have her photograph us. Faith and Jefferson were amazing the day of our wedding. They even handled little issues that popped up. When our flowers were late arriving, they magically made them appear without any stress to us. They handled our demanding, large families through all of the portraits with ease. They have the most amazing sense of humor, and they take the time to figure out the theme of your wedding and to capture the images that reflect it. Finally, I cannot say enough good things about working with Faith to plan the details of everything we wanted, and make it go off without a hitch to her tireless work on all of the post production. I look at the pictures all the time. Faith is worth every penny and then some, and choosing her as your photographer will be one of the best decisions you make.

Faith was the first photographer we met with when we began planning our wedding. At that point we just knew she was "the one" to photograph our big day! She was professional but most importantly she was easy to connect with.

Our engagement session made us even more excited for our big day - the photos were gorgeous. Shooting with Faith was effortless -she made the entire process so easy. The same held true on our wedding day. Faith and Jefferson were so organized which made portraits with the entire bridal party and our families a breeze. Not to mention, Jefferson is hysterical and our bridal party cracking up. They're personalities made the formal picture taking process fun for everyone. One of our favorite memories from the day was taking pictures of just the two of us out in the gardens at the mansion. Jefferson had us in stitches! It was really nice to have some "us" time during the reception.

It's absolutely amazing when a picture can bring you right back to a moment in time. So many of the photos Faith and Jefferson took at our wedding did just that. I'm still wowed by how much emotion they were able to capture in the pictures, not to mention how creative and unique they all are. Everyone will tell you that your wedding day goes by so fast, and believe me, it does! We were so glad to find that our pictures told a complete story of our special day. They captured so many details and incredible moments, some we got to relive and some we were able to experience for the first time through photos. We couldn't be more pleased with Faith & Jefferson and how wonderful our entire experience with them was. They documented the most important day of our lives beautifully and we truly cannot thank them enough.

Faith is AMAZING to work with. My Fiance and I did our engagement session with her and loved every one of our photos. We really wanted to capture all of our favorite locations in Newport. We started off at Zelda's (where we first met), NYYC Harbour Court (our first official date), and ended the day out on our boat (where we got engaged). Faith was completely up for ALL of this. Actually, we were the ones telling her we had to go in before we missed the launch boat back to shore! She has an incredible eye for natural lighting and capturing the perfect shot. She was also a complete pleasure to work with and made us both feel comfortable in front of the camera. Not only did I walk away with great photos, but also with a new friend! When it came time to selecting my wedding day photographer (which would have been Faith if we weren't getting married in Virginia) I went to Faith for her advice to help narrow down my options. I would highly recommend Faith Dugan photography to ANY bride out there!

Faith is AMAZING! She was one of the first vendors that we booked, I knew right from our first meeting that she was the photographer for me. Her work speaks for itself, it's beautiful!!! One thing that really impressed me besides her pictures was the way she and Jefferson ran the show on the wedding day. They managed to organize my loud and controlling family so naturally. Our formal shots with our family and wedding party ran smoothly and took way less time than I was expecting. They memorized everyone's names in our families and wedding party. It made everyone feel very comfortable and I think it showed in our pictures. They captured every moment of our wedding day whether we realized they were there or not. Being from New York and planning a wedding in Rhode Island was not an easy task. The search for the right vendors, particularly a photographer was difficult. Faith was recommended to me by a friend who got married in Newport a few years ago. From the moment we spoke on the phone I knew she was the perfect fit for us. She is sweet, kind, friendly, easy going and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Faith has a variety of packages which works for couples who are on a budget, but also has a lot to offer for those looking for extras. Throughout the whole planning process Faith was a quick email away for any questions I had (even non-photography related). She was prompt and thorough with her responses and always flexible in arranging meetings during our visits to Rhode Island. She had so many good ideas and pointers for us, especially a suggestion on a place to rent to take pictures beforehand in case of rain (which came in handy because it POURED). On the day of our wedding, I couldn't have been more happy with our decision. Faith and Jefferson were AMAZING, they had such a calm demeanor and made us feel at ease. It felt like we had two friends taking pictures of us. We felt so comfortable around them and hardly noticed they were there yet they managed to capture so many special moments of the day! We were thrilled with how our pictures came out. Our family and friends still rave about how sweet and awesome they both were. Having Faith as our photographer was hands down the BEST decision we made for our wedding, I could not imagine having anyone else. Working with her might be the only thing I miss from the wedding planning process. I cannot say enough great things about her!!!

I do not have enough words to say about how wonderful it was to work with Faith for my wedding photography. We booked Faith for our engagement pictures and wedding after visiting her adorable studio in Newport and falling completely in love with her work. We were referred to Faith Dugan Photography by a friend and we would absolutely recommend Faith to any other engaged couple! Faith is professional, smart and enthusiastic. Her work speaks for itself in how much creativity and effort she puts into each and every wedding. We liked how she took our request for 'photos with an ocean backdrop' and gave us a few options to choose from. She then scouted out these locations a few days before our big day to ensure the spot was still perfect (no debris, flowers in bloom, etc).
On our wedding day, we learned that the photographer becomes the quarterback for the day..Faith and Jefferson were natural QBs! They coordinated with our hotel to have the vehicle ready to go out front when we needed to leave. They coordinated with our officiant to get the right ceremony shots. They staged the cake cutting at the reception. They were positioned near the dance floor to get all the 'action shots' once the music kicked up. Faith even helped me cut a piece of crinolin (sp?) that ripped on the bottom of my dress.
Faith Dugan Photograph exceeded our expectations! She captured our wedding day beautifully and we greatly enjoyed working with her and Jefferson.

From start to finish, our experience working with Faith was superb. What sold us originally was her photo-journalistic style and how she sets out to create the story of a wedding day. I also appreciated some of the creative ways she experimented with typically cliched shots of rings, dresses, etc.

The actual event was no less wonderful. Working as a team with her husband, Jefferson (who my husband and his groomsmen especially liked), Faith captured every detail and shot we wanted and made it happen in an unobtrusive manner.

Finally, putting together our album after the fact was a breeze, with Faith going the extra mile to make sure we were happy with each step of the process (as we live in New York and were doing everything over email). I highly recommend her for your wedding plans!

We hired Faith for our engagement photos and our wedding day. We were absolutely blown away by her talent and ability to make us feel comfortable. For our engagement session she was even able to capture our lovable ( but very energetic) dog in great photos. Faith listened to our needs and wants and was able to accommodate us in every way. Her husband was our second photographer and was as friendly and helped capture all the little moments. Countless guests commented on Faith's talent and how easy she was to talk to. Efficiency was important to us and Faith was able to organize our group quickly and still manage to catch amazing shots that we will cherish forever. Weddings can be stressful for those of us who have never been married before. Faith's professionalism and talent made it very easy on me and my wife. Faith was sensitive to the stresses of the day, taking priceless photograph after priceless photograph without being imposing. She captured the entire day, giving us a very in the events we (my wife and I) missed is the rush of the day. She took shots of our friends and family that we will hold onto forever.

Faith has "the eye". People can learn photography, but few have the instinct Faith displays. She takes shots we would never think of, and they are beautiful.

Faith has the talent to take great pictures you'll hold onto forever, but she has the sensibility to allow you and your family/friends to enjoy the entire day.

Faith put icing on the cake as she sent our photos to us in a nice wooden box with a cool wooden USB.

I would recommend Faith Dugan Photography to anyone I know. We will share her photographs with everyone we know. She captured the day perfectly.

After I got engaged, booking Faith was the very first thing I did. I didn't even have a venue yet, but I knew that wherever I decided to get married, Faith Dugan needed to be there to photograph it. I fell in love with her beautiful, natural style of shooting and felt very validated in my decision when she was voted the Best Wedding Photographer in Newport by Newport Life Magazine.

Faith shot both my engagement photos and my wedding and I was completely impressed with both experiences. She is obviously ridiculously talented, but it's more than that - she is a good person! She is this tiny ball of personality and has a way of making you feel so comfortable while she takes photos. She managed to wrangle my large, loud family and wedding party for formal photos and did so quickly and with class. During the wedding ceremony and reception, I barely knew she was there...but when I saw my photos, I could not believe the amazing moments she captured.

When we walked out of our first meeting with Faith-we knew she was our photographer. She has an elegance that transfers to every picture she takes. Her photos tell a story and as we are able to relive our wedding day through our photos, we realize even more how amazing she is. I would recommend her to anyone (and have). The price may seem high but she is worth it. Also, since she is a Newport based vendor (grew up there too!)-she knows all the "spots" for your engagement session and if your wedding is in Newport also-for your wedding day also. She is passionate and made us feel as though we were the most important client-and makes everyone feel amazing. From the first meeting and every moment after, she is professional and spectacular.

I can not begin to say how awesome Faith really is. First of all - her work is absolutely gorgeous. From the first time I contacted Faith, she was extremely responsive and helpful - even when I wasn't asking questions about photography!!! She knows the wedding scene and Newport so well - she was really an invaluable tool for us during our preparation - especially since we were planning from hours away. The first time we saw Faith, she was at the location of our venue shooting another wedding and was highly recommended by the catering manager I was working with. I have recently dove into the field of event photography myself, and have been an avid hobbiest for over 10 years - so I didn't think I would ever be able to make a final decision!!!Once we started doing our research and checking out her website, as well as many others in the area, we fell in love with her documentary and detail orientated style and the decision wasn't nearly as hard as I anticipated. Her prices are amazingly fair compared to her quality of work - We knew we wanted Faith at our wedding!!!
When we actually got the chance to meet with Faith at her studio - it was totally a done deal. Besides the amazing prints and albums that she had to show us, her personality just clicked perfectly with ours!!! I don't think we ever stopped laughing while we were shooting with her, during our engagement session or on our big day. She really helped us create not only gorgeous images, but wonderful memories to last a lifetime!! I'd like to start by saying that I was the type of bride who did her research. I spent countless hours reading reviews and meeting with potential vendors, so I'm definitely aware of the sheer number of RI photographers in the business; however, very few are as talented as Faith. The second we met Faith, everything clicked. We loved her energy, passion, fun spirit, and the incredible examples of work that she shared with us during our meeting. Leading up to the big day, she was a great resource of information for all things related to wedding planning. In fact, if it weren't for her, I wouldn't have reserved Ochre Court for pictures, which was a huge lifesaver since a tropical storm decided to show up on our wedding day! The tropical storm definitely washed out our potential ocean shots along the Drive and beach ceremony, but she has been so incredibly kind to offer us a sunny day re-shoot. If that's not a stellar example of her flexibility and passion for her job, I don't know what is! She's outgoing and fun, but at the same time, she is very professional and was able to keep both of our loud families under control to get the best formals possible. Her responses to phone calls and emails were very quick and detailed. Her prices are more than reasonable especially knowing the rates that other photographers charge who aren't comparable to her talent-wise. Her work speaks for itself, but I hope my review helps you make the right decision: to hire Faith. I think the fact that we didn't need to hire a videographer to capture every moment of our wedding day indicates the kind of job Faith does. She documented our wedding day beautifully, and I know that we couldn't have done it without her!

I have not seen too many pictures yet (just the teasers) but her work is absolutely stunning. She is highly talented and at such a young age. She has a very fresh, photojournalistic and artistic style. I am a designer so I was highly critical of who we chose as a photographer. Unfortunately, the type of photographer I usually like is way out of my price range. Finally I stumbled upon Faith (from the recommendation another photographer) and I was elated to find out how reasonable her prices were. She also offered full day service unlike other photographers who had time limits. She is providing us with a disc of photos which is perfect for us since I feel comfortable retouching photos and designing the album myself. If you do not wish to do this, her photoshop skills are excellent. Alot of photographer go overboard with photoshop or over retouch photos. If I wasn't cheap, I would definitely have her retouch mine!

I was also very impressed at how well she handled a large crowd. She was very adept at crowd control at the church when we were trying to squeeze in a few shots of DH and I at the end of the ceremony. We were surrounded by all of our guests since there was a hurricane (!!) outside. She calmed our very large bridal party when we were trying to take a few pictures outside during the rain (again, hurricane). Our original plan was to take photos outside (hurricane!!), but we ended up taking them at the Crowne Plaza instead (our reception site). This was something I was originally really worried about. Now, I am not in the least bit disappointed. She managed to find some great angles in seemingly ordinary spaces. If you have a talented photographer, the photo locations do not matter.

I cannot recommend her enough!!

Her artistry and creativity were unmatched by any of the other photographers that we met with or looked at online. I wanted our pictures to be less of the formal and more of the imaginative- and that's exactly what Faith did! Her preparation beforehand in her paperwork and in her meetings with us really gave her a chance to read my husband and I so on the wedding day she knew exactly what we wanted and everything ran more than smooth!! Besides being a extremely talented artist, Faith is also a great person! We couldn't have asked for more from her, and our pictures look like they belong in a magazine! I still can't believe it's us in some of them!! She is wonderful.

Working with Faith and Jefferson for our wedding was an absolute pleasure!! Faith made me and my husband feel so comfortable and it really showed in the beautiful images she captured. Having her around did not feel like having a stranger documenting the day, but more like having a very talented friend sharing a very special day with us. Truly a pleasure.
