The Fairways of Halfmoon is the perfect wedding venue in every way. Sue is incredible and made the planning process easy and fun. She was open to all of our crazy ideas and helped make our dream wedding a reality. The food is delicious; we had the opportunity to go to a few tastings before our wedding, which helped us decide which hors d'oeuvres to serve during cocktail hour. We were able to have cocktail hour in the Club House, which made the reception in the Banquet Hall feel even more special. The Banquet Hall is elegant and has a great setup; our sweetheart table was directly in front of the fireplace, but we spent most of the night on the dance floor! The Fairways was more beautiful each time that we visited, and has many locations for amazing photos, including the gorgeous fountain out front. The Fairways also includes a fantastic Brew Pub, which our guests also enjoyed visiting prior to cocktail hour. We had the most amazing time at The Fairways of Halfmoon, and we highly recommend having your wedding here! -

Sue was wonderful and so helpful. Her staff was attentive to our every need. Sue and her staff made our special day so wonderful ! If you need a venue for your wedding book with sue !!!! -

The Perfect Venue For Your Special Day
The Fairways of Halfmoon was exceptional for my daughters wedding celebrations on 5/15/21. This was a Covid wedding with many changes, which ended up being a brunch and dinner wedding celebration on the same day for 48 and 57 people. The event coordinator Susan was amazing! Every venue needs a Susan. She was always right there for us with our questions and changes. Always responded very quickly, and never made us feel like we were a bother. The food was outstanding. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The change-over from brunch to dinner was flawless. Every candle was lit, centerpieces moved, and the tables looked perfect. I really could not have gotten through planning my daughters special day without Susan's help. Thank you to The Fairways of Halfmoon for the perfect day! -

I can't say enough good things about this venue. Susan, their wedding coordinator was the best! We had booked this venue back in 2018 for our June 2020 wedding. Susan sat with me for over an hour when we first met, bouncing ideas off of one another and explaining all of our options and the things we could do to make this wedding exactly what we wanted it to be. Her willingness to help us make our dream wedding come true, even 2 years out, had us over the moon excited to be celebrating our big day at the Fairways, the perfect space for cocktail hour, photos, ceremony, and reception. They also offer an annual tasting every year for couples that have booked and those that are considering. It was a great event and opportunity to try the food selections. Susan continued to keep in contact throughout the two years leading up to the big day. Unfortunately, come May we had to cancel our big day due to Covid 19. The Fairways offered us a postponement date at no cost or a complete refund. We took the refund because we still aren't sure what our future plans are, but if we had to do it all again, we would definitely pick the Fairways! -

Fairways of halfmoon is a fantastic local gem to have your ceremony at. The grounds are stunning and well kept. The accompanying brewery, Hank Hudson Brewing Company is gorgeous and provides for some truly amazing photo ops. The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. I'd have my next 3 weddings there... -

Where do we begin, Everything was absolutely beautiful. The service was the best that we have ever received. They were extremely attentive to our needs and all of the details. The food was exceptional, compliments to the chef! Sue truly became one of the family through this process, she was extremely caring, comforting and we couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to our wedding! -

Sue and the crew are absolutely amazing!!! She helped us with so much and put or mind at ease throughout the entire time. She was always available for questions and helping to make sure it all came together. So happy we had our wedding here and will be back for future events. -

Our Fairytale wedding
We got married at the fairways on May18,2019 and it was a night I won’t forget! Susan was great to work with from the start .So accommodating and really listened to our needs and wants. The day of she was there bright and early to help set up and make sure things went off without a hitch. The waitstaff was more then friendly constantly checking in to see what we needed and if they could get us anything . The food was sooo good ( although to be honest we live around the corner and I have never had a bad meal there.)we took pictures prior to our ceremony while the brewery was open and people were golfing and they couldn’t have been nicer ! Thank you for making our fairytale come true! -

Alan Sent on 05/16/2018Fairways is an amazing reception venue. The staff were amazing. Susan was one of the most professional and helpful people we met in our search for a venue. The banquet hall is amazing with a spectacular view, awarm fireplace, and the magnificent waterfall/pond out in front of the venue! We even were allowed to use the driving range to fly our radio controlled airplanes!
The food was incredible!! Peter and his staff should be proud of the meal they served us! The bacon wrapped scallops were a personal favorite! The brisquet was also amazing as well as the chicken. We couldn’t have asked for a better meal!
After learning of a death in our family shortly after our reception the staff at fairways again were there to help with water, tissues and support in our time of need. The staff do not feel like just staff they became part of our family!
I definitely would consider the Fairways of Halfmoon as a place for your wedding! Very professional staff, beautiful views, and a great atmosphere for any wedding or event!!! -

Susan did an excellent job at helping us plan our wedding and was so accommodating with arrangements and exceptionally responsive with any questions we had during the planning. Email questions were answered with an hour or two. Brandy, Kim and the staff did a superb job with the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. The entire ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were exceptionally smooth and without any issues. Had great drinks and appetizers during cocktail hour and the food during the reception was outstanding, especially the Mac and cheese. They made excellent suggestions for the outside vendors, including the flowers, cake/cupcakes and DJ. The bridal suite and grooms suite downstairs was great for getting ready for the ceremony and reception. The Fairways venue is beautiful with the outdoor fountain, surrounding golf course and the view of the Vermont mountains in the distance. One bonus was that Friday night before the wedding we needed a place to entertain our many out of town guests. They set up a room adjacent to the clubhouse for dinner for over 20 out of town guests. Working with Susan and the staff at the Fairways gave us complete confidence and no worries in planning our wedding. Without any question, we would highly recommend the Fairways for your wedding or other special event.
