Angela was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Her communication was clear, thorough, and timely, and demonstrated a deep knowledge of the venue and wedding planning. She always answered our questions promptly and with professionalism.

The Fairview Metropolitan team set up everything smoothly and seamlessly. Chairs and other furniture were moved without guests being bothered. Appetizers and drinks were delicious. Guests commented on how yummy everything was.

The space itself is beautiful, spacious, and tranquil, providing a clean and undisturbed setting for our special day. The golfers and airplanes were present but that didn't bother us. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and staff to make our perfect wedding day!

We are forever grateful we chose Fairview Metropolitan as our event venue. The wedding coordinators are incredible. We worked with Trish (and Angela a bit when Trish was out of the office). Angela was always super kind and helpful, passing on our questions to Trish to keep everything running smoothly. Trish was also incredibly kind to us, staying on top of every detail, of which there were countless. She went above and beyond her responsibilities, communicating with the various event partners we contracted as well, to ensure we had a wedding beyond our wildest dreams.

We had our wedding at Fairview Metropolitan, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more! The real star of the day was our incredible wedding coordinator, Trish. From the moment we started planning to the very last dance, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. She kept us calm, handled everything behind the scenes, and made the entire experience so seamless that we were able to simply enjoy our wedding day. Trish is truly the reason we had our dream wedding, and we cannot thank her enough for the care, dedication, and heart she put into making it all happen.

Our families and guests were blown away by how beautiful, organized, and smooth the entire celebration was. Everyone was so impressed with the venue, and we received endless compliments throughout the night. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious — huge shout out to Chef Maria and staff.

Fairview Metropolitan gave us the most unforgettable day, with a level of service and quality that far exceeded our expectations. The best part? It was affordable for the value we received. We couldn’t recommend this venue, and especially Trish, more highly for anyone planning their wedding.

Our joint 75th birthday celebration was amazing. Trish at the Fairview immediately understood our vision and definitely helped bring it to life. From decor, to food and beverage each little detail was perfect. We and our guests couldn’t have been happier.

The DJ was incredible. He really kept the dance floor crowded with great music, and what a great bartender. She knew our signature drink, the French 75, and was truly expert at making them. The dinner was excellent. The decor and beautiful outdoor views won everyone over. What a stunning atmosphere for any type of celebration!

The communication and professionalism were superb. Each question, concern, text, email, or request, etc. was responded to in a timely, friendly and professional manner. It was hard not to feel like we were the only clients, because of the solicitation and care with which we received.

We have already recommended the Fairview Metropolitan to several friends.

I had my wedding here at Fairview Metropolitan and it was the MOST AMAZING DAY EVER! For starters Angela Muse helped us from start to finish on planning our day and every little detail in between! She was amazing to work with, she was clear, communicative, friendly and organized which is everything you want when you are planning your wedding! When I arrived at my reception I was blown away by the decor and how beautiful every detail was! Thank you so much Angela for all of your hard work and support in making my dream reception!!!

The vendors that are connected to Fairview that I opted into having was DJ Keel and Ting at Montclair Florist. DJ Keel was a phenomenal MC and met with us ahead of time to get an idea of how we wanted our wedding MC'd as well as what we wanted our music to be like and let me tell you he achieved it!!! My guests were laughing, entertained and raving about the music all night! Thank you Dj Keel!

I coordinated with Ting from Montclair Florist and although we did not talk much I have to say my bouquet and center pieces were the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen! The flowers were stunning and she ran with the ideas I had and made it the most beautiful arrangement ever!!

My guests were raving about the food and we were so supported by KeeKee our Banquet Manager! She checked in on us and made sure we were good throughout our reception!

Book with Fairview you will not regret it the venue is beautiful and open, the tented pavilion is gorgeous, the food is delicious and the staff are phenomenal!!! Thank you Fairview for making the reception of my dreams!!!!

If we could give 10 stars we would. Fairview Metropolitan is truly a magical location. The sunset we had the evening of our event was breathtaking. Fairview Metropolitan is a full set up/service venue which was one of our deciding factors to have our daughter's quinceañera there. It is easy to access and has ample parking. The venue was spacious for our 180 guests and there was ample room to dance. The service was TOP-NOTCH. We loved working with both Trish Sena and Angela Muse, who made this process so easy and memorable. They were so easy to talk to and work with. Both worked so hard to go above and beyond to make our daughter's vision a fairytale reality. We couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Their attention to detail was impeccable. Making our event spectacular. Several of our guests mentioned how this was the event of the year. We never felt pressured (as we did at some other locations) or overcharged. Chef Maria did an amazing job with the food. Our daughter is an extremely picky eater, went back for seconds (which NEVER happens). So many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was. I had two relatives call after the quinceañera to ask who the food caterer was so they could book them for their upcoming gatherings. We had two bartenders working that day who were delightful. Both were quick, polite and pleasant. The Banquet Captain Kiki was on point. She didn’t skip a beat. We are still dizzy with delight as to how perfect and dazzling our event was and we owe it all to Fairview Metropolitan.

We hosted our graduation event at this venue, and it was perfect! Angela made everything seamless and stress-free, handling every detail with professionalism and care. The space was beautiful, and the staff ensured everything ran smoothly. Our guests had a fantastic time and couldn't stop complimenting the venue. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Our event planner/coordinator Deja was super awesome she made the planning for our mom’s 70th birthday fun, easy and stress free! The venue was accessible to all guests and such a nice place to have all your special events and celebration! Me and my family would definitely recommend this place ☺️

First off, shout out to Angela and Anavanessa and all the staff at Fairview Metropolitan! They made our wedding day amazing from start to finish, everything was perfect. My husband and I started the whole wedding planning process back when we were living in Texas. We saw Fairview while we were visiting, fell in love with the venue, and flew back to Texas the next day. lol Angela and Anavanessa made the process so easy and were so accommodating. This was in March of this year so COVID restrictions were constantly changing. Angela kept us updated on everything that was going on. We had no idea what we were doing with 90% of the planning so we gladly gave everything over to Angela since we knew we were in great hands. She was also our day of coordinator and made sure everything ran smoothly. Somehow she was able to make sure everything ran smoothly and on time while keeping my family in line 😂

Everything at Fairview Metropolitan is top-tier. The food, the bakery they use for the wedding cake, the dj, the florist, the photographer, all the vendors. I always suggest this venue to newly engaged couples. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive, cost efficient, BEAUTIFUL venue with an amazing, accommodating staff, do yourself a favor and choose Fairview.

When I found this venue online and called to make an appointment, I didn’t know what to expect. I had never heard of this venue before. However, from the moment I met Angela Muse in person, the director of events, and toured the place, I knew that Fairview would be my first choice. The place is simply beautiful and well manicured. I celebrated my daughter’s Quinceañera at this venue and my experience could not have been better. Angela went above and beyond to make sure that our every request, no matter how big or small, was met. She was very knowledgeable and flexible. She helped us by giving us ideas on the areas we were not so sure about such as decoration, food choice, etc. After our first meeting, I must have emailed and called her more than a dozen times and not only did she reply in a timely fashion, but she answered my questions in a detailed manner. Angela and her staff made the entire planning process go smoothly and stress free. Thanks to her and the members of her staff, our event was a great success!! My youngest daughter will turn fifteen in two years and I will certainly have her celebration at Fairview.

Our daughter had her wedding and reception here at Fairview Metropolitan back in 2017 (https://www.fairviewevents.com/fairview-metropolitan-testimonials). We were so pleased with our experience with the Fairview staff and the event itself (absolute perfection), we decided to hold our parents’ Celebration of Life here. This review is in regards to the COL, however we believe the expertise and quality service provided by Fairview would apply to any event and/or function.

We held our parents' Celebration of Life at Fairview Metropolitan on July 30, 2021. Event planning is ultra stressful and the pandemic just added to the mix. However, Angela Muse (our event director) made the process so effortless. She had so many helpful suggestions and was a true joy to work with. Very professional and courteous. With her assistance, we were able to customize a package that truly honored our parents' memory.

This reception was held right after the church and burial services. We decided on appetizers, bar service and buffet dinner for 150 guests. The funeral services took almost 3 hours. By the time we got to Fairview, everyone was pretty hungry. When we arrived, all the appetizers and the bar service were ready and our guests were able to enjoy them right away. Appetizers were fabulous (I highly recommend the Ahi Tuna Tartar). The venue itself was beautifully set up. This was an afternoon event (no mood lighting) but it still had an elegant feel to it. We were also able to drop off the seating chart and pictures of our parents the day before our event (Fairview provided the easels). One less thing to do the day of the funeral. The buffet dinner was delicious and there was enough so that our guests could go for seconds if they wanted. Kudos to Kathy our bartender! Super friendly and kind. We felt so lucky to have her there.

We had a video presentation and a Hula Show. We also had our brothers sing some songs and wanted to allot time for guests to pay tribute to our parents. DJ Andrew made all this happen. He provided the music, mikes, speakers and projection screen. The funeral ran long, and we arrived to the venue almost 45 minutes late. We were worried we'd go overtime with all we wanted to do, but DJ Andrew didn't let that happen. We were able to do all the presentations within our 4 hour time slot. He moved everything along so smoothly and didn't make it feel rushed. The dinner music was spot on for our family. We used the dance floor for the Hula Show and the singing which worked out perfectly. At the close of the event, he played 'Lovely Day'. That got everyone on the dance floor! He had mentioned to us that Celebrations of Life don't necessarily have to be sad occasions. He was right. Although we were sad to lose our parents, DJ Andrew made our event an unforgettable and true celebration of their lives. Many thanks to you DJ Andrew!

Angela and the crew at Fairview Metropolitan really know their stuff. Our family is so grateful to them. Highly recommend this venue. Excellent, flexible and professional service. Oh and did I mention, plenty of free parking? Enough said.

Fairview Metropolitan exceeded our expectations! Planning a wedding during a pandemic was not easy but their team made rescheduling and planning as smoothly as possible with their attentiveness and communication. Having so many small and big details to decide on, choosing Fairview was by far the best and easiest because of the all inclusive deals they offered. The food was delish and the service was the best! Shout out to our bartender, unfortunately didn’t get her name, but she personally made sure my husband and I had a drink all night. Our guests even raved about her! DJ Keel was awesome, had our guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT!! Angela was by far the sweetest, most attentive coordinator you can ask for (highly recommend to add a day of coordinator) it was a pleasure from the very beginning of planning with her, I felt like she understood our vision. I could go on and on about how amazing everything turned out. Be sure to check out Fairview yourself, they do not disappoint!! Thank you Fairview for the wedding of our dreams!!

I had an amazing experience with having my wedding at the Fairview Metropolitan. My wedding coordinator was super responsive over email, text and phone call. She patiently answered all of my questions and made sure I understood all of the little details. She was so supportive, and I had no stress over the venue set up, food, tech, etc thanks to the wedding coordinator and staff at the Fairview. I even got my own room to touch up and get ready for the reception. They even printed out my speech for me! The venue was absolutely beautiful, and it was the perfect place to take photos with my husband and guests during and after the reception. Thank you Fairview!! I would not have had it at any other place.

WOW! Everything was perfect with Fairview from the beginning call with Kelley to the final goodbye on that magical night. My honey and I tied the knot at sunset on 11/16/19. IT WAS PERFECT!

Coordinator: Kelley - I can not brag on this amazing human enough. From our first talk, walk-through, emails, text, calls, multiple questions and meetings, she did an outstanding job!! Her advice, listening ear when everyone was getting on my nerves and calmness was greatly appreciated. Words can not express my gratitude. On the day of the wedding she took care of everything including me!

Venue: Simple and gorgeous! The ceremony was right before sunset at 4:25 (I was late). No wind. A plane did go by but it's the airport next door and it wasn't super loud. I didn't do any of the gazebo decor but the background with the sparkling grass and white chairs, very elegant. The tent/reception was everything!! The reason I picked this venue was because of the tent. The drapery all around, with the spider lighting and twinkle lights, makes the place decorated!

Food: Even though I didn't eat any of appetizers, the food was good. Your typical wedding food but it's yummy. I don't recommend the veggie lasagna or the salmon. All the salads, side dishes and main entrees were yummy. They have a really large menu. We had the food buffet style so there was so so much food. Everyone was able to eat twice.

Bar: The drinks were great! The bartender Kathy was so friendly and made sure I had a drink all night. Our guest are still talking about how the drinks were great!

Cake: I used their vendor, Mazzetti's for the cake. It was super moist, beautiful and yummy. The ladies at the bakery were very helpful and sent me pictures of cakes after I explained to them what I wanted.

Fairview has affordable and flexible packages. They truly are a one stop shop, they have everything. I only used their vendor for the cake. We used our own DJ, who had the party going from the moment we stepped in the tent. I used Modish Events & Decor for my sweetheart table and wedding party tables.

My husband and I were married Nov 9, 2019 at Fairview in Oakland. We started planning in late February and found Fairview on a website. Called, scheduled a meeting to meet with Kelly. After our first meeting I knew this was the right place for us. We were able to pick a full package based on our needs and wants. We were also able to cha he packages to make them our own OR we had the option to use our own vendors. Kelly was phenomenal along with all of the staff for our wedding date. Emails/phone calls were returned promptly and all questions were answered honestly. Food was perfect, decorations, setup etc., everything was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about Fairview and Kelly. I will definitely be using them for any parties we have!

First off I only had 6 months to plan my wedding so it got super hectic. The stress was unreal since we only had a short amount of time, but thanks to Myra and Brittney they helped me make this wedding happen. The package deal is what sold me, it removed a bunch of stuff off my todo list. The food was great, service, drinks (including the bar), and the set up. Thank you again for helping me making my wedding magical.

We held our wedding reception here in June 2018. We were absolutely blown away by the level of service, the execution, and the overall outcome of our reception on the big day. We felt fortunate to have found this place on the budget that we had. All of the other venues we went to significantly priced us out and they hadn't included all the things Fairview contractually included: food, drinks, floral centerpieces, MC/DJ, and the YUMMY wedding cake, all with quality products and service of these third party vendors.

Our guest count was 110 people of our very close family and friends. One of the significant compliments we received of our wedding was that the food & beverage staff were very attentive, super friendly, and fun! From the wait staff, bartender, the MC/DJ, and our coordinator, our guests loved them. My husband and I could attest to that in how we were treated that day. We absolutely loved the service. Our coordinator Claire really took care of business!

One last thing I'll add is that this place is a beautiful all-white venue. It's a blank slate and a fresh canvas for you to lay your vision and freely create this day that you've dreamt of with details of your own and/or with the of the wide variety of options that Fairview provides. I highly recommend this place. Thank you guys for everything and helping me create the wedding I've always dreamed of to my high school sweetheart. :)

From beginning to end they excelled in everything for our wedding. From food choices to coordinating between both wedding planners when the other wasn't avaible. I would recommend this place to my friends & family.

We had our outdoor wedding at this venue on 2/13/18. The whole set up was beautiful both outdoors and indoors(banquet). Angela helped us all the way through with lots of patience. We had only started planning the wedding 3 months prior and she was able to present all information clearly and was easy to follow. Fairview was an affordable wedding venue that did a great job coordinating my wedding.

Fairview Metropolitan was wonderful. My wedding was beautiful and everything all fell into place. Claire and Angela were very helpful and i recommend this venue to everyone. I love this place and made my dream wedding come true

If your looking for all inclusive..... This is your place!! Actually any Wedgewood Location is!

Myra as an excellent coordinator. She was very accommodating and walk us through all the options. She was great to work with.

After planning my wedding with this venue for 7 months, I ended up having to request my deposit back because they were not honest about their pricing OR flexibility. After management told me that the food at this location was NOT very good and those were the managers EXACT words, I inquired further about using an outside vendor. Previously I was told that it was okay as long as I met their $4K minimum. What this venue does not tell you is that the outside caterer has ZERO access to their kitchen, not even to leave excess food in it. In addition the $4K minimum is a crock. For $4K you are charged basically for their tables, chairs, and linens, in addition to the facility fee they charge depending on the day your wedding is on, on top of the ceremony fee. If you have upgrades, removing their food means you lose their "discounted" pricing so everything is a la carte. I was going to end up paying them $8K when I wasn't even going to use their food, have them supply my floral, wedding cake, etc. Make sure you read your contract and ASK plenty of questions.
