From the moment we said 'yes' to the Fairmont to the moment we checked out of our wedding suite, everything was exceptional.
Alice Fay - our venue coordinator - is the best of the best. Not only is she incredibly professional and kept the planning processes easy, but her passion for her couples and her enthusiasm for her work shines through in everything she does. We are so lucky to have had Alice at our side every step of the way, but even more so that we now get to call her a friend.
Sarah Sandoval was our point of contact for booking and working with her was so efficient and easy. She worked with us to accommodate elderly guests who needed ADA rooms and booked us the most beautiful wedding suite.
When it comes to customer service, the entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Each interaction with a member of the staff from the front desk personnel, to the bellmen to the housekeeping staff was warm and came with a smile. We - our guests included - cannot stop raving about the exceptional service and kindness we were shown. I was so touched by the level of service and kindness that I cried saying goodbye to the man at checkout, whom I had just met during that interaction.
In terms of the food, everything was top notch. Our guests have been raving that it was the best food they've ever been served at a wedding, in terms of flavor, portion size, freshness and presentation. HUGE shoutout to the team in the kitchen for preparing an incredible meal.
Overall, we could not have been more pleased with our decision to host our wedding at The Fairmont Copley Plaza. It's a world-class hotel with a world-class staff, and we look forward to making many more memories there in the future.Fairmont Copley Plaza's reply:

The hotel's timeless elegance with its chandeliers and gilded ceilings make an amazing spot for photos. Everything was perfect
My daughter and her now husband had the wedding of their dreams at the Fairmont Copley Plaza over Labor Day weekend. Everything was executed to perfection. The venue is stunning. The rooms are gorgeous. The food was delicious and the staff makes you feel like royalty. Working with their event planner, Alice Fay was wonderful. She was professional, knowledgable, full of great ideas and fun. She was such a pleasure to work with and it's clear that not only does she love her job, but it is important to her that your event is what you want. Their vendor recommendations were extremely helpful and we found vendors that worked with in our price range and were able to flawlessly deliver everything that was desired. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by John who was so warm and friendly, followed by Joe who brought our bags to the room. Both gentleman made us feel valued and welcome. Our experience at check in was equally wonderful. I would 100% recommend hosting an event at the Fairmont Copley. July Wedding at the Fairmont
We had our wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston, and it was truly the most incredible experience. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to make our vision come to life. We worked closely with Alice, who made the typically stressful wedding planning process feel easy, organized, and fun. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and calm, reassuring presence made all the difference.
We had a large guest count, almost 300 people, and the Fairmont had no problem accommodating everyone with ease. The event flowed perfectly from start to finish, and every aspect of the evening was handled with care and precision. Sarah was also a huge help when it came to coordinating our room blocks. She made the process smooth and stress-free for us and our guests.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning! It’s historic, elegant, and full of charm. The food was out of this world, and we’re still getting compliments from guests weeks later. Several people told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended, and we couldn’t agree more.
We’re so grateful to the entire Fairmont Copley team for helping us create a celebration that was beyond our dreams. If you’re considering this venue, don’t hesitate. You’ll be in the very best hands.

Having our wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza was such a dream from start to finish! Our coordinator Ashley was so organized, responsive and cheerful throughout the planning process, which helped us feel very at ease. We did not hire an outside weeding planner and never felt like we needed to because she was so on top of everything and helped us keep on track with all of the important milestones and details. Ashley is amazing at her job!
On the day of the wedding, all of the staff were wonderful and so friendly. Along with Ashley, Maiya and Kathleen were awesome and helped keep the whole day perfectly to plan. All of the wait staff and bartenders were also so kind and attentive. We really appreciated how the whole team was so positive and upbeat throughout the day, as it really helped us stay relaxed and present.
We truly loved our wedding here and would recommend it 100%! -

The Fairmont Copley was the perfect venue, and our wedding coordinator, Alice, hands down was the best person to have by my side throughout the process. She was always prompt and responsive throughout the entire planning process. She made us feel taken care of, and we were planning a wedding from 1000 miles away. She was honest, and knew all the little details that you did (or didn’t) need. My day wouldn’t have been perfect without Alice.
The venue and food were incredible. Plenty of options, flexible with helping with children’s meals or allergies. Each server and bartender at the wedding were amazing. The bellhops (I believe John was one), helped us the day prior loading all of our stuff in (so thankful!). We ended up having some rain, but it was perfectly fine because inside the venue was so beautiful we were able to have fantastic photos inside. Sarah was fantastic at helping with the room block and making sure everything went smoothly.
They helped to create a no-stress environment for a perfect wedding and I cannot thank them enough!

The Fairmont was the most perfect, elegant, regal place to have our wedding. Everything from the architecture to the food was spectacular. We specifically loved that the chef worked with us to create a menu that tied in Egyptian culture. Fairytale Wedding
My wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza was nothing short of a fairytale. From start to finish, Ashley made the entire planning process seamless. She never once wavered in her patience — no matter how many questions I asked or how many times I revised a proposal. She is truly exceptional at what she does.
Her deep industry knowledge, familiarity with the venue, and extraordinary attention to detail set her apart. But beyond that, it’s her calm, professional, and supportive demeanor that truly makes her a standout.
On the day of the wedding, our guests were absolutely blown away. The awe began as soon as they stepped into the lobby and only grew stronger with each space they entered. The beauty of the setting was matched only by the impeccable service. The Fairmont staff were attentive, gracious, and worked with incredible efficiency to ensure food and drinks were served promptly and with care. As someone who works in the wedding industry myself, I was beyond impressed by the level of excellence and heart that went into every moment. The food was some of the absolute best we’ve had in our lives! During the tasting, the chef was so accommodating and willing to change or tweak anything we wished for. He is seriously talented! My husband and I couldn’t decide on which chicken to serve. We finally decided on one, and then Fairmont let us eat the other option ourselves on the big day! It’s little touches like that that mean so much.

We are so happy that we held our wedding reception at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. The venue itself is stunning and in a great location, and the space and equipment provided (tables, chairs, linens, etc.) were beautiful. The food and beverage services are incredible - it was so hard to choose a menu because all of the options tasted so good. Many of our guests have told us that this was the best wedding food they had ever had. Most importantly, the event planning staff were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process to make sure that everything went smoothly. Wedding planning can be stressful, but we knew the entire time that the Fairmont would ensure that everything at the reception venue would go as planned. Ashley and Sarah were so helpful during the leadup to our wedding, and Maiya and Kathleen were wonderful Event Operations Managers on the big day. We just had our wedding on Saturday at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, and I do not exaggerate when I say it was a dream wedding. The venue is exquisite, and guests were RAVING about every aspect of the wedding, from the ceremony to the venue to the food. The food was all absolutely delicious and gourmet despite almost 200 guests, with the steak cooked to a perfect medium rare. I can’t tell you how many guests told me, clearly very genuine, that it was the best and more elegant wedding they had ever attended. This was all thanks to the absolutely amazing team at the Fairmont. We worked with Alice Fay, who was absolutely amazing and made sure every detail looked perfect and went smoothly. When we first arrived, we were greeted with such warm welcome by Alice and Sarah Sandoval, who was helping to coordinate some of the details. At the reception, Maiya, the Event Operations Manager, made sure things continued to run smoothly, and at the end of the night Kathleen was there to make sure we didn’t need anything. I ordered my "signature drink" from an amazing bartender, Phil. All of the staff collaborated to make the event perfect, from the amazing servers who pitched in to help with our complicated table settings, to the sweetest bellman, Said, who helped us move things multiple times with a constant smile. My parents loved one of the doormen, Mike, who gave them lovely feedback about our wedding from the staff. I more than recommend this venue for a wedding. Can't beat the Fairmont!
I've known Alice and Ashley for years, and they are just consistently the most kind and helpful people. The Fairmont is a wedding photographer's dream venue. Every inch of it is elegant and it's in the best location. We had the most incredible wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza and truly can’t recommend it enough. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. We used both the Oval Room and the Venetian Room, and each space was truly breathtaking.
A huge part of what made the experience so exceptional was Alice Fay. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled seamlessly, from the early planning stages all the way through the wedding day. She was responsive, organized, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about making our vision come to life. Anytime we started to feel nervous, Alice was there to keep us calm — we felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands.
Our guests haven’t stopped raving about the setting, the flow of the day, and how effortlessly everything came together. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, joyful, and seamless celebration.

Our coordinator Jessica Cooper was extraordinary, anticipating our every need and being incredibly involved every step of the way, from our first tour of the venue to our final wrap-up. She was incredibly responsive to our endless questions and requests, and helped us with a great attitude and was always ready to help us tackle any concern! Alongside her were a terrific team. The space itself was gorgeous and well kempt, the lighting was perfect, and the staff were attentive all night to ourselves and our guests. The front desk was very responsive and helpful as well. Flawless Event!
We recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding ceremony and reception at the Fairmont Copley, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how attentive the entire hotel team was. We have always been captivated by the venue's breathtaking beauty and ornate details, but the service was also spectacular. Every corner of the space exudes elegance and charm, which created the perfect backdrop for indoor photos on our special day (specially as it rained outside).
The service we received was truly exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our wedding was flawless. Their attention to detail and dedication to making our day perfect was evident in everything they did. We felt incredibly well taken care of, and the professionalism and warmth made the experience even more memorable. A special shoutout to Ashley who's the first person we interacted with when booking the venue, and who was there with us through the journey and on the day off, making sure everything was perfect.
The food was absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the steak, salmon, raw bar and desserts. Each bite was a culinary delight, and the presentation was impeccable. The chef clearly put a lot of thought and care into finer details that wowed and sated everyone.

Christmas 2024 Wedding
We had our daughter’s wedding at the Fairmont this past weekend and it was nothing short of AMAZING! The level of service and quality of food was exceptional! We were able to utilize all four rooms from the ceremony in the Oval room to the cocktail hour to the reception in the Grand Ballroom and then the Venetian room for a quick after party. The holiday decor at the Fairmont was elegant and classy and added a special detail to the whole event. Alice and her staff were excellent, I would recommend this venue to anyone having a wedding in Boston!! -

As a wedding planner, working with the Fairmont Copley Plaza is always such a joy. This venue perfectly blends sophistication and luxury, which is why it’s easily one of my favorites.
One of the best parts of working at the Fairmont is getting to collaborate with Alice, the Senior Event Sales Manager and Wedding Specialist. Alice is truly a rockstar in the wedding world! She’s organized, passionate, and just so easy to work with.
Between Alice’s expertise and the Fairmont’s top-notch service, couples and vendors always feel supported and cared for. From the first planning meeting to the final send-off, everything runs like clockwork. It’s one of those places that just makes my job so much easier—and way more fun!

10/10!!! Getting married at the Fairmont was a dream come true. We had a true fairytale wedding. They exceeded our expectations.
The venue speaks for itself in its beauty and elegant/romantic vibe, but the special touches the venue and vendors provided made it so magical. The service was truly top notch. Respectable and friendly staff that gave us a fine dining experience. The food was outstanding and when you cater a large event you don’t always expect food and service to exceed expectations, but every guest ranted about both!
Alice was our event coordinator and she was truly the best. So easy to work with, lots of experience, and made our day so special by delivering all the things we asked for and more.
From the moment you are outside the venue and get greeted by staff and valet at front door, to the comfortable hotel stay with friendly staff, the OAK bar for lounging, and each and every section of this hotel is true beauty and elegance with the most welcoming and beautiful experience. Everyone was outstanding and easy to work with. I already want to plan another event there!! We visit the OAK bar frequently just to be back in that atmosphere. Beyond Extraordinary
Our wedding was beyond a dream. Ashley and her team went above and beyond for my husband and I for over two years executing everything better than I could have ever imagined. We had toured a few different locations and besides the fact that the Fairmont is the most beautiful location for a ballroom wedding, what sold us was Ashley Kirouac, our venue coordinator. She was meticulous with details, attentive, and patient when I was started losing control of everything.
Vinit Sigh, and Emily Lopez were incredible handling the event itself and making sure that everything went flawlessly. The staff were beyond exceptional, and I cannot thank the Fairmont Copley enough for their warm hospitality and incredible service.

Our breathtaking wedding, at Fairmont Copley Plaza was nothing but fairytale.
The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel exceeded all our expectations as our chosen wedding venue. From our first interaction, the sense of royalty and distinction was palpable. A special commendation goes to our coordinator, Ashley, for her tireless efforts and meticulous attention to detail. Event Operations Managers Allie Ferrick & Alex Ferraro were instrumental in ensuring that every aspect of our event was executed flawlessly, and their professionalism was evident in every interaction. And then there’s Rijkard A. from the culinary team. Not only did he share our excitement for our big day, but he also went the extra mile to make it memorable. His passion was evident when he prepared Griot, a cherished delicacy from Haiti, especially for us. This thoughtful gesture touched our hearts deeply and added a unique and personal flavor to our celebration. Every member of the staff played a role in making our wedding magical. The Fairmont Copley Plaza was truly a dream wedding venue! From our first encounter with Alice Fay, Head Event Coordinator, to the day of the wedding, everything was truly perfect. Alice was extremely responsive via email and phone, and the Fairmont was super flexible with all of our asks and needs. Alice made the daunting wedding process feel seamless and was always able to answer my questions with ease.
The tasting experience was incredible and included choice of wine as well as 3x starters, and 2x options each of meat, fish, and vegetarian to try. They were also super helpful with tips and tricks on what to do with folks with allergies and could even create dishes for you if there was something that you really wanted that wasn't on the menu.
Alice worked seamlessly with our other vendors such as the band and photo booth to ensure they had everything they needed on the night of so that things could run smoothly. She truly has seen it all and the amount of tips and tricks that were shared were priceless.
From the day we got there before the wedding, I felt truly like royalty. All the staff was so nice and accommodating. The food came out quickly and was extremely delicious - not like normal wedding food that is usually only ok - we really felt like we were eating at a high end restaurant.
The night of the wedding they also had a suite prepared for us with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries - truly no detail was missed! I could not recommend this venue more if you are thinking about it for your wedding or next event. It was literally a dream come true! -

We had a 4-day Indian wedding in Boston, which culminated at the Fairmont Copley Plaza for our wedding ceremony and reception. Simply put, our experience at the Fairmont was elegant, beautiful, and breathtaking - we loved every second of it, from planning to the the actual event, almost entirely because Alice Fay (Fairmont's Event Manager-Wedding Specialist) is just truly *exceptional* There are a few reasons we loved working with the Fairmont (and Alice!). First, the venue is incredibly elegant and stunning, from the hallways, to the main hall of the hotel, to the Grand Ballroom. We held our Baraat, when the Indian groom rides to the front of a venue on a horse, surrounded by friends and music, outside the hotel in the heart of Copley Square - it felt like a Bollywood scene with lots of energy and dancing. Our wedding ceremony (and later in the night, reception) was in the Grand Ballroom, and the cocktail hour in between in the Oval and Venetian rooms. Every single moment of the night felt magical. Second, the Fairmont chefs are amazing, but our family also strongly preferred having Indian cuisine as part of the reception. Fortunately, the Fairmont allows 2 exclusive caterers to work at their venue (Masala Art for Indian cuisine and another vendor for Kosher)... which is a stark contrast to most venues in Boston, which only offer a single (their own) catering service. Guests are STILL raving about how delicious our Indian dinner was - and the impeccable white glove serving of dinner by the Fairmont staff (we wanted several main dishes to be served to each guest, rather than a plated meal or buffet). The service was elegant, classy, and efficient. In addition, the hors d'oeuvres, dessert stations, and after party food items were made by the Fairmont's chefs, and just amazingly delicious and beautiful. Third, our wedding was large and elements of it, quite complicated (!), but everything went so seamlessly because of Alice! Alice is incredibly responsive, detail-oriented and meticulous - we knew we were in great hands from the moment we started planning our event with her. Alice is also extremely thoughtful - we felt extremely well cared for throughout the planning process and on the night of our wedding. In short, our night was exceptional and magical, in large part because of how invested Alice was in make sure everything went perfectly. We are eternally grateful to the Fairmont, Alice Fay, and all the staff for a truly grand, elegant, and beautiful experience that we will never forget!" -

Where do i begin! We booked the Fairmont for our wedding on August 28th 2021 and it was by far the best decision we ever made. Even in the midsts of a pandemic the event coordinator Alice was beyond spectacular! She always kept us informed and not only helped us through the whole process from start to finish but went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! The wedding with out a doubt went off without a hitch. It was such an amazing day we will never ever forget it. We have had so many people tell us that ours was the nicest wedding they have ever been to and we couldn't agree more. We both wish we could relive this day over and over again. We can't thank the staff and most importantly Alice enough for all their hard work and for making our fairly tale wedding come to life! We hope to spend many anniversaries at the Oak Room and Fairmont's to come! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!

I cannot emphasize enough how absolutely incredible the team at Fairmont Copley Plaza is!! We were married at this venue on 9/25/21 and I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding. Our wedding coordinator, Alice was amazing to work with! She is very thorough, so kind and makes you feel excited about the whole process from start to finish. Wedding planning is stressful enough! Alice truly takes care of everything and makes you feel as if you do not need to worry about a thing since you are in such good hands! Even our food tasting was perfectly executed with a private room and full plated dinners to see how each dinner would be served. The food is absolutely incredible - Chef Khan does wonders in the kitchen and is extremely talented! All of our guests were blown away by their meals as well as the hors d'oeuvres and display stations for our cocktail hour. It was a magical night that we will never forget all thanks to the Fairmont Copley team and their incredible staff!! -

The Fairmont, and especially our coordinator Ashley Kirouac, were wonderful to work with! We had a slightly non-traditional plan for our wedding, wanting to have a minimony with a big party following and the Fairmont was so accommodating, creating a custom experience for us and our guests. Dinner was exceptional and the team went above and beyond with our dessert buffet. All of our vendors had a seamless experience working with the Fairmont. We highly recommend the Fairmont Copley! -

We recently got married at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, and there are not enough positive words to describe how happy I am with Alice and the whole Fairmont Copley team. From beginning to end, Alice was a pleasure to work with and she made sure our big day went perfectly. Alice has been doing this a while and definitely knows her stuff. And to top it all off, the venue is a beautiful Boston staple. All in all, I'm very happy with how my wedding went. :) -

Everyone was so nice, accommodating, professional, and just so great. Alice was the best person of contact!!! She really helped guide us throUgh the evening and made sure the night was set up for success. The space is also just gorgeous. Wouldn’t change anything!! Everyone loved loved loved the food!!!

Fairmont Copley Plaza - Fairytale Wedding!
Fairmont Copley Plaza provided me with the fairytale wedding of my dreams! We wanted to select a venue that epitomized old school Boston charm with a nod to the glitz and glam of the early 1900s era - and it did not disappoint! The guests were absolutely blown away! Fairmont Copley Plaza is truly the Grand Dame of Back Bay, and the ballroom is a perfect location for a bride who is looking for a more traditional wedding reception vibe with a large dance floor, gorgeous chandeliers, and architectural accents that are just beyond. The hotel itself is centrally located and provided my guests with a great starting point to visit the city's main attractions. We worked with Alice Fay as the Wedding Specialist, and she truly hones in on every detail to make it the most perfect event. She is very detailed and makes wonderful recommendations in terms of fitting your budget, as well as assisting with the overall design and layout of the reception. You can tell she is an expert, and my wedding was a testimony to this! The entire staff was very attentive. The food may have been the best part - we chose a sit down dinner, and a lot of guests came up and said it was the best meal they had ever had (and at a wedding no less)! The tuxedo outfit made of chocolate on the strawberries served with the cake - a unique touch that my guests couldn't stop talking about! We can't thank Fairmont Copley Plaza enough for our special day! -

Amber Sent on 10/19/2009Our coordinator Alice Fay definitely recieves an A++. She was fabulous to work with throughout the whole planning process. The food was terrific at our reception and the white glove service was impeccable. The Fairmont Copley is truly a step above most downtown Boston venues in terms of class and our event was no exception. Great bar service, beautiful rooms, and our guests raved about the gorgeous hotel the whole weekend. The only reason they wouldn't have a perfect score from us would be the banquet manager who wanted to get everything packed away so quickly towards the end of the night that they kept taking away things we needed (ie our toss bouquet, candy buffet, toasting flutes).
