Beautiful Industrial Venue for your Perfect Wedding!
Factory 12 Event Loft was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! It is a beautiful industrial venue that ticks all the boxes. The staff were on top of everything we could possibly need from meeting our vendors day of, taking care of the guests, and making sure the night ran smoothly. They offer bar and food services as well making it a one stop shop and hassle free. We absolutely loved having our wedding here!Factory 12 Event Loft was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! It is a beautiful industrial venue that ticks all the boxes. The staff were on top of everything we could possibly need from meeting our vendors day of, taking care of the guests, and making sure the night ran smoothly. They offer bar and food services as well making it a one stop shop and hassle free. We absolutely loved having our wedding here!-

Planning a breeze!
My fiance and I are getting married here at the end of May 2020 and could have not had a better experience with planning and booking. Will update as we get closer to the date! Hillary has been fantastic to work with, responded very quickly to our emails and answered all of our questions. Factory 12 event loft was perfect for our special day. Hillary was an absolute pleasure to work with! Her passion for our perfect day was undeniable. We hosted our ceremony and wedding at Factory 12 Event Loft. I love the location in downtown Columbus. It is convenient to hotels and restaurants. The venue is large enough to give your guests room to spread out and enjoy the evening. We loved the smaller room for the ceremony to make it more intimate and the larger room for the reception. The extra space allowed our guests to mingle and it allowed for photo ops and dessert bar! We enjoyed working with Richie. The Factory 12 Event Loft is recently under new management. I booked my wedding (both ceremony and reception) with the old owners, and they were difficult to contact and work with, but the venue was exactly what I wanted and was a decent price so I went with it. I had a bit of a scare when the new management took over, but they made the transition painless and were much easier to work with. Caleb is professional and was willing to answer all the questions I threw his way, and is easy to reach.
Unfortunately we had a couple instances of miscommunication that I'm hoping were caused by the ownership change and the proximity of our wedding to Christmas; 1)I was not informed that Caleb would not be at our wedding, but instead their catering manager Brittany would be my contact for the day. Brittany was amazing though and bent over backwards to make sure every detail got taken care of. 2)When we showed up for setup the napkins were the wrong color, but Brittany sent an employee to Indianapolis to pick up the right color and got the situation remedied with no hassle. 3) The bar had not been told our order for which wines and beers to serve, so some of our chosen beers weren't offered. But the bartenders were friendly and Brittany made sure to bring my groom and I drinks all night when she saw ours were empty, she certainly made us feel cared for.
On the whole, I would recommend the venue. The food was amazing and affordable, the staff was friendly and professional, the place has an industrial beauty to it that requires few decorations making setup easy and inexpensive. But I would say to explicitly confirm all your choices with the team before the day of your event to prevent miscommunication; I have no doubt their performance will improve as they get used to the space and the requirements of a wedding.The Factory 12 Event Loft is recently under new management. Hot mess wedding day
Let me start off by saying that this venue is absolutely beautiful! It was everything I had wanted for our wedding! There was just a few things that happened that made our wedding day extremely difficult!
First being that we were suppose to get into the venue the day of the wedding at 8am. Fast forward to 930am, we still weren’t in. The event coordinator just didn’t show up. I had no phone numbers for anyone else! I happened to find the the caterers phone number and he came to let us in around 945. If I hadn’t found this number, who knows what time we would have gotten in. This was extremely stressful as we couldn’t get in the night before to set anything up unless we paid an additional $1,000! It was nice at least that they had our tables set up where they needed to be. We didn’t have a coordinator at all the day of the wedding. Thank God for our DJ who kind of took over this role!
Another big thing was our bartenders. They were suppose to be there and start serving by 5pm. They didn’t show up till close to 530-545! Extremely frustrating as our guest were waiting to be served.
At the end of the day, we got married and that’s all that matters but just sharing our experience!

Very Disappointed
I was rather disappointed with this venue. My fiancé and I were very excited to be married there due to the beautiful space. The Staff was not very good about communication. We were cancelled on twice the day of the meeting and meetings have been forgotten about until we showed up for them. Which typically is not too big of a deal but we live an hour away and need to schedule time to come down. We were told there would be able to use the space for our rehearsal the night before our wedding but when we reached out to schedule the rehearsal we were told they do not do rehearsals. We would not have been upset if this had been the plan from the beginning.
There is also a lot of different people you have to go through for catering and alcohol. It is highly suggested you use the in-house caterer but there are three different people you need to speak to. When attempting to plan everything we got the feeling no one spoke to each other or communicated in any way. It was rather frustrating to be planning a very important event and having to stay on top of the Staff.
Ultimately our wedding was beautiful and our guests loved it. We do believe this was despite the staff and not because of them. They are nice people but I encourage you to look at another venue.

We were honored to assist with your wedding at the loft and are pleased to hear you and your guests were very happy with the their experience on your special day! We do sincerely wish you had as positive an experience with the planning process as you did at the event.
We make it a priority to be upfront about our rental policies and what is included with the event space rental when clients come to tour the venue. We also provide clear rental timeframes on both our venue pricing guide as well as the rental contract. Both state that the rental period is either from 8am-Midnight for Saturday reservations, or 10am-Midnight for Friday or Sunday events. There is always the option of adding the day prior to your wedding date to your rental reservation for you to have that day to use however you like (rehearsal or extra decorating time).
In terms of communication, it is a top priority of ours to respond in a timely and friendly manner, as well as to coordinate with one another (Client, Venue Manager, Catering Manager, Bar Manager) to make sure we are aligned in all details of your day.
According to our calendar, there was only one meeting that needed to be rescheduled due to illness, which we were able to get taken care of just a few days later. Though we did provide ample notice of the need to reschedule as we did not want to get you or your fiance sick, we do again sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We are again glad to hear that you and your guests were very pleased with your special day, but would be happy to speak with you further about any remaining concerns! -
