Maria was very professional and great! From the moment I first talked with her I felt a connection. She was recommended to me by a friend who she did her bridal teams make up. She was great and all my girls loved their makeup the day of. Even through all the sweating of the sun at our Beach wedding it lasted. I cant thank her enough! -

Maria is amazing, supportive, and creative!
Maria did my sisters makeup for her wedding when she got married in Florida. After I got engaged, I struggled to find a makeup artist. I don’t wear makeup and didn’t know what I wanted. However, when we realized that Maria is now in NYC , it was a no brainer!
Maria came to my apartment for the trial and really worked with me to find the look I wanted. She and Kasia were a dream to work with, ensuring everyone of my bridesmaids, mother, and in laws felt and looked their best. Maria even stayed through the beginning of the reception to add a pop and makeup change!

Best of the best!
On one of the most important days of you life, you need someone you can trust. Maria and her team were just that! They truly made me feel like a princess and helped my bridesmaids and family all feel just as beautiful as they all are. Not only is Maria so flexible and personable but she has some of the very best ladies on her team. My hair stayed put from 10 am until 2am! Hands down my best choice in vendor. You will not be disappointed. I get so many complements still that say I should curl my hair more often because it was so stunning! And my face was flawless! If you’re getting married in the NY, NJ or CT area, Faceworks should be your first call. My sister hired Maria and her team six years ago, and when I got engaged, we knew she would be the perfect compliment to my team. She truly made my happily ever after the most magical! -

Maria and her team are wonderful! She did the hair and makeup for my sister’s wedding, which is why I decided to go with her again for my own wedding. She traveled to me for the trial, my bridal shower hair and makeup, and for the wedding. Her prices are very reasonable and she is so much fun to be around. It also makes it so easy that she does both hair and makeup. Even at the end of the night, my hair and makeup still looked good. All my bridesmaids, my mother, my mother in law, and myself got both hair and makeup done by Maria and her team. Everyone was very happy with the results!

Wedding Hair and Makeup
Maria and her team are wonderful. She did the hair and makeup for my sister’s wedding, which is why I decided to go with her again. Working with Maria was such a wonderful experience. She was very flexible on everything from the trial dates to the wedding day itself, responsive when my wife and I wanted to make changes to our look, add in bridesmaids, my sisters, etc, and was just a wonderful personality to have around on my wedding day. Both my wife and I got exactly the hair and makeup styling we wanted and felt beautiful! Can't recommend her enough, 11/10 stars! -

Maria did my makeup for my engagement shoot, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. She really puts you first and wants to get your vision right! We went back and forth with makeup ideas a few weeks before the shoot, and she got the overall look spot on. I usually feel like I get drained out when I get my makeup done, but Maria gave me that dewey glow I always aim for! Thank you, Maria, for your makeup magic and kindness! -

Marie and Melissa did a great job on my hair and make-up. Marie and Melisa is very professional, on time, responsive and passionate about their works. While Marie is located in queens, she is very flexible and willing to travel all the way to Westchester for my wedding without additional cost. I highly suggest doing the make-up trial before the wedding to see if the hair and make-up styles fit you. I initially thought i wanted to have an updos half up half down based on the photo i saw from pinterest, but i realized it doesn't fit my face that much after the trial and i changed to an updos all the way up with brighter make-up color on my face on the wedding, and i loved! They also did fantastic job on my mum and all the bridemaids, thank you so much for the wonderful works! -

One stop shop for bridal hair and makeup: the white gloved service with a smile!
Being a new kid on the block after a move to the Queens suburbs, my only resource for help with hair & makeup for my wedding day was the internet. By cheer coincidence I stumbled on Maria and what a blessing and amazing find this proved to be! This lady is not only a hair and makeup wizard, she also comes with a radiant personality which makes for a very relaxed and fun experience. Maria brought her studio into my house and transformed my mom, cousin, young daughter and I into starlets all at an unbeatable price that is worth every penny. Maria and I met up twice, for a hair and makeup trial and on my wedding day. She also gave me a spray tan, shaped my eye brows and enhanced my eye lashes. I usually do not have time for reviews but in this case I really want to give any ladies amongst you, who -like me- are a little nervous about taking a chance, some serious peace of mind. You cannot go wrong with Maria and you won’t be disappointed. Take this from somebody with pretty high standards and expectations.

Maria is so sweet and attentive. She has amazing makeup and hair skills. She made me such a beautiful bride in my wedding day! She is flexible and accommodative in the style. She is also pretty affordable compare to other make up artists in the city. She has all the tools you need and one should definitely arrange a makeup trial with her! Made my beach wedding day so much better!
Adela from Beautiful Brides of the Florida Keys was on time and very professional. We were in the middle keys in Marathon, Florida, and she traveled to us. My hair and makeup turned out perfect, as well as our 3 bridesmaids and flower girl. We were able to enjoy the big day, without having to fuss with hair and makeup. Thank you! -

I can’t express how amazing this team was . From the moment Maria called me , she made me feel so comfortable with everything . I had priviously had contacted other companies and had different trials but when I met Blerina ( one of the amazing hair and makeup artists ) I knew that was gonna be it . We had a consultation and she was able to craft a costumized hair style for me . After that she did makeup and I couldn’t stop looking at myself in the mirror .
The day of the wedding , they arrived on time with the most professional kit I have ever seen . Everything they had was up to date and they finished our hair and makeup on time for our photos to be taken . Everyone was looking beautiful and so pleased with the Faceworks Team .
All I have to say is thank you for a job well done and would definetly hire them again . -

Maria was great in setting up everything from the trial run to the day of the wedding with the schedule. Dianna did my hair and make up -- very talented and did a great job! Would definitely use this service again in the future!
