Being from Michigan, I was a little nervous that I was not going to be able to do a hair and makeup trial. I was SO SO pleased with my hair and makeup on my wedding day! When Idalis showed up to do our hair and makeup on site and immediately put my hair in rollers I knew I was in good hands! I was so pleased with all of the bridesmaids hair and obsessed with my hair and makeup! 10/10 for sure choose Shannon’s team for your wedding day!

So much talent!
Shannon and her team was amazing to work with. She made me feel so beautiful and confident as well as my bridesmaids felt amazing. Getting ready the morning of felt so relaxing, laughing and talking with her and everyone. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. My bridesmaids and I LOVE Shannon!
Where to even begin? Shannon was professional and communicative from the start. Her services were included as part of our package at Paradise Cove and she was the first vendor to reach out to us after booking. During the trial that I added on, I asked for a "riskier" hair and makeup look than what I was used to so I could try it out and Shannon was VERY receptive to my notes and feedback. On the day of my wedding, she and her assistant were friendly and fun, and they really made the vibe more relaxing for all of us. Shannon also was accommodating to some last minute changes and add-ons that popped up that I know may have been stressful for her in principle but she didn't show it at all. My hair and makeup were gorgeous and lasted well through the night, even into the after party! I would 100% recommend booking with Faces by Shannon for your wedding or event!

Great hair and makeup!
Shannon was great for my wedding day hair & makeup. I wanted something very simple, and needed someone to work with my curly hair and sensitive skin. She made great recommendations during the trial to avoid any reactions, and it worked great on the wedding day! My hair lasted the day (even in the Florida humidity) and turned out perfect for the photos. She has very reasonable prices, and works very hard to make sure she does things exactly as you want! I would absolutely recommend her.

Especially as the first vendor you’re interacting with the morning of your wedding, it’s so important to have people who will keep things light and fun. Beautiful Wedding with Faces by Shannon
We worked with Shannon for our wedding at Paradise Cove. Shannon and her assistant Monica did an incredible job with hair and makeup for our diverse wedding party. They are highly experienced and needed very little direction to understand what each person was looking for and were very open to feedback and direction when offered. They were truly experts in their craft, ensuring that everyone looked beautiful and they were happy with their final looks and also keeping everything running smoothly and perfectly on time. Some of our wedding party were people who did not ordinarily wear much makeup or feel comfortable with elaborate hairstyles and Shannon and Monica understood immediately how to adapt, with perfect looks that our party members felt comfortable with. On the other hand several of our wedding party members had really clear direction in what they were looking for and Shannon and Monica took that and ran with it and really delivered. At one point I was concerned that the curl on my hair was too much, and Shannon did a great job lightly adapting my look and assuaging my concerns. Everyone's hair and makeup held up great throughout the night and the after party, and we were all so happy with the final results. On top of that, Shannon and Monica were a pleasure to spend time with and super fun to hang out with and we really enjoyed spending the day in their company. I would recommend Shannon and her team to any wedding party, they are very talented and able to cater to a diverse range of individuals.

Perfect Look
I purchased a destination package in Orlando and added on hair and makeup and Shannon was who they contract with. I was nervous was I didn’t research much of what I wanted let alone much about her and her business.
She nailed the look I was going for and even was able to accommodate two others in my party.

Amazing hair and makeup!
I showed Shannon my favorite magazine photos and looks for my special day; she nailed it! I felt so beautiful and I could still recognize myself in the mirror! The makeup was glamorous yet romantic. Shannon is an absolute rock star! She is so cool and she got my vibe and vision right away! She came right to our Airbnb and got everyone done in 4 hours!! She made us all feel so beautiful! She is fast too and completed full hair and makeup on 4 of us and even offered to style 2 sister in laws’ hair. I wanted to wait until we had our professional photos back but I also wanted to get an excellent review up for her!! I would definitely work with Shannon again and hope that I can again soon!

So awesome - absolutely killed it!
Shannon was absolutely AMAZING! She did my (bride) hair and makeup, and the hair for all my bridesmaids. I let them pick whatever hair style they wanted so they were comfortable, and their hair looked absolutely amazing and held all night. My hair is really thin and usually doesn't hold curls well, but she did such an amazing job that it stayed the entire night. Even after my trial, my hair lasted my 3 hour drive home. Everyone loved the way my hair and makeup turned out, and I was of course so in love with it as well; I honestly didn't want to take my hair down afterwards. She has such great energy and helped contribute to the great mood we were all in on one of the most hectic days of my life (in a good way). Her prices are also incredibly fair. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing hair/makeup services!

I don't wear alot of wakeup, and I wanted to keep my freckles showing. Shannon listened to my request. At the trial, I loved the makeup but my husband asked that the eyebrows be more natural [since he isn't use to seeing me in makeup]. For the big day she took the feedback well and made the eyebrows a shade lighter and 2mm smaller. Every request I made she replied with "ofcourse, its your day". She listens and does what is asked-- and the makeup lasted all day! My hair wave stayed up all night! She even told me upfront what she feels comfortable with style wise so I knew she could meet my expectations!
Also--- my florist bombed on my bouquet, but Shannon over heard me and jumped to save the day. She deconstructed my bouquet and added decor I had in the venue[lavender sticks and natural puff things] and made a bouquet I was proud of. She arrived early, started on time and we were finished before the photographer's time request! This is super important for the day because vendors are paid by hour and everything has to be on schedule--- if you book Shannon she will listen to your desires and make you up to be the diva you are!

Shannon was the best! Great communicator - she replied so all of my texts and emails very quickly. I was a nervous wreck and she kept me calm and made us all look beautiful!! Her timing was impeccable and she even had time to do extra hair for my niece! One of the girls developed a very bad rash (allergic reaction to food from dinner night before wedding) and Shannon handled it amazingly - no rash in sight after makeup! Shannon came on site to do my hair and makeup for my wedding at did a fabulous job! My original hair/makeup artist backed out 3 weeks before my wedding, so I looked online and took a risk with hiring Shannon! I'm so glad I did! She was affordable, punctual, personable, and - best of all - great at what she does! My makeup lasted all night, my hair started coming out a tiny bit, but it was insanely windy so I'm surprised it didn't all fall out! When looking for a make up artist for my wedding I was a little nervous because we were doing an out of state wedding but everyone kept leading me to Shannon so I trusted their judgement and booked right away. From the beginning through the day of Shannon was such a pleasure to work with and I have never felt so beautiful than I did the day of my wedding. I highly recommend Faces by Shannon! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! Shannon was able to perfectly create the look that I wanted, which held for the entirety of my wedding. We had four women getting their hair and makeup done on the morning on my wedding. Shannon showed up early and ready to work! There was a last minute emergency which left her without an assistant- and she still managed to beautifully complete everyone's looks with time to spare. Shannon understood my vision and made sure that I was comfortable with the direction we were taking in terms of my look. Both her and her assistant were absolutely wonderful to my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and myself the day of the wedding. Everyone loved our look and our hair & makeup lasted the whole night. I am still amazed at how beautiful everyone looked in the pictures!

I felt like a princess
Shannon was amazing! I only had two maids, my mother and myself to get done and she did all four of us herself and we are all so very happy with her work! My mom even said she hadn't felt that beautiful in ages and I absolutely felt like I was walking on a cloud of my wedding day. It was just wonderful all around. She came in around 11am and did wonderful things with everyone's hair, even though we all have very, very different hair types. The make up was just lovely as well and she easily dealt with my latex allergies. My photographer didn't even recognize me when she walked in, but I still felt like myself all night. She was fun to have in the room with my maids and I, laughing at our jokes and enjoying the company. My makeup and hair stayed in place all night, even though it was windy and I am a pretty horrible crier. It was a wonderful experience and I am so glad I chose to hire Shannon.

I couldn’t be happier
Shannon was amazing! I’m so incredibly happy I met her and she was able to do my makeup and the makeup for all of my bridesmaids. Everyone looked flawless and when my MOH cried and ruined her makeup before we even left the suite, Shannon stayed late to fix her up, no questions asked. She was so sweet and helpful and she helped create the look I’ve always wanted for my wedding day. I can’t recommend her enough. She truly was amazing.

We flew from the UK to get married and I am so glad I chose Faces by Shannon! Highly recommended and especially if you are going to Florida from the UK and won't be able to have a trial as Shannon was fantasic. I had so many compliments about my hair and make up. Relax and let Shannon do her thing!
One thing I was super nervous about was how my hair/makeup would be for the wedding because obviously from your neck up is SUPER important that day. I cannot say enough about how comfortable Shannon made me feel. She can even tell you, I had MULTIPLE appointments with her because I was so unsure about how I wanted my hair. She not only is super sweet, but is honest with you about what looks good and what doesn't and that's exactly what I needed. HONESTY! She is very flexible and responds to texts, emails and phone calls very quickly. On the day of, her and her team were prompt and got right to business making my girls and moms look fabulous for my wedding. I will definitely be using her for future photo shoots! :)

A Wedding To Remember
We were referred to Shannon by a close family friend. As most know referrals can be hit or miss, but Shannon was an absolute blessing. Not only is Shannon passionate about her career as a hair stylist and make-up artist, we also could feel that she was just as passionate, if not more about US. That was the biggest selling point for me and my wife, knowing that the person that was taking care of my wife had our best interest in mind with making our BIG DAY as smooth and stress free as possible. Shannon not only did an amazing job, but as a Groom I had one less thing to worry about and that was that my wife was being taken care of 110%. Shannon had my wife come to her home and do a trial "Hair and Make-up" session. I'll never forget seeing the picture that came through my phone and how beautiful, the already beautiful woman I was marrying looked after Shannon did her Trial. WOW!
The photos from the wedding spoke volumes of what Shannon and her assistants were able to do in the time they were needed for doing the girl's hair and make-up. I saw a bunch of happy brides maids, mamas, and a bride so that made one really happy groom. I would refer Shannon over and over again because of how easily she helped our wedding day go. Having a trial allowed us to see her craftmenship....or craftwomanship....and the BIG DAY will not leave you disappointed either. Not if, but when you need someone to style your hair or do your make-up, make Shannon your first call.

From the start of my session all the way to the end of my session, Shannon was all around wonderful! She was on time, she was super sweet and really cared about getting to know me so we could have stuff to chat about during our session. The quality of her work is phenomenal. I can’t even explain how I felt when I looked in the mirror...I had to do a double take to make sure it was me! She did my hair too and I was just obsessed with all of it. Shannon is such a sweetheart. Very reachable and approachable. She went light on the trial like I asked, as I normally don't wear makeup, and on the day she did a little bit more and I seriously felt like the most beautiful woman on the planet. All the pictures of the wedding came out amazing and it's because Shannon gave me the best face I could have asked for!! She knows what she's doing and I would hire her to do my makeup in a heartbeat again. My lashes were great, I love the airbrush makeup, best $75 ever spent!

I got married in February 2018, and there's only one hair and makeup artist that I even considered for my day... thank goodness she was available! Shannon had styled my hair and makeup years ago for a photo shoot AND she did hair and makeup for a couple of my friends' weddings and boudoir shoots. Her work is always INCREDIBLE. And she's a lot of fun to work with. Her sense of humor really makes the beautification process fly by!
For my wedding, I hired her to do hair and makeup for myself and 2 bridesmaids. She gave us soft yet glamorous looks... for enhanced versions of ourselves. I felt like myself... but better. It was probably the best I've ever looked in my life.
It took about 3 hours for Shannon to style the 3 of us. We started around 10:00 AM and were done with hair and makeup by around 1:00 PM. By 2:00 AM (13 hours later... after shutting down a nearby bar after the reception), we still looked fabulous! I really can't believe my hair stayed put (with extensions and CURLS) for that many hours. There was no Cinderella moment where I suddenly turned into a pumpkin. The glam look stayed put!
Shannon was worth every penny and then some. It was definitely worth it to pay the travel fee to have her at my St. Augustine wedding (rather than hiring a Jacksonville or St. Augustine stylist). Her fun and funny demeanor put me at ease and really set the tone for an amazing day.

I hired Shannon because she worked my best friend's wedding earlier in the year. She was so fun yet professional at her wedding that I wanted her for my wedding prep! She did hair and makeup for myself, two bridesmaids, and my mother. I gave her some ideas ahead of time but really just let her run with it. Shannon did an amazing job with me and my girls. I've never had a glow up like I did on my wedding day. She's is incredibly friendly and professional and I wish I could be pampered by her all the time.
Shannon and her colleague (sorry I forgot her name!) were amazing! They were very friendly and our hair and make up was beautiful - both lasted the whole evening even in the extreme Florida heat! Would definitely recommend :D

Shannon arrived early and did a spectacular job on me, my daughter and mother for my son's wedding. She was a joy to work with and we really enjoyed our time with her. We followed her instructions, and our hair and makeup held up spectacularly in the Florida heat and humidity. She is a true professional and you will love how you look when she gets finished!

Shannon did a wonderful job matching my vison of my wedding day look. I typically don't wear much makeup or do a lot of fancy stuff with my hair and didn't want a "fake" look; I still wanted to look like myself. She did a run through with me and learned what I was more comfortable with and saw my Pinterest inspiration. She made my dream a reality and was so easy to work with. I messaged her with ANY questions I had and she responded within a few minutes, regardless of how silly the question may have been. I would use her again in a heartbeat!

Shannon is beyond amazing! Not only is she very professional but she's also fun to be around! Her upbeat attitude kept me from becoming a real bridezilla and she even kept my neverves calm! Shannon make me felt like everything was under control and I had no worries! Shannon did makeup for myself and my entire bridal party, 5 girls including my mother, with help from her friend Corie. It was an awesome experience and I almost wish I could do my wedding all over just to have my makeup done by Shannon again!!! I also learned that Shannon is certified in eyebrow microblading. I'm visiting her in June to have mine done! Ladies if you're still looking for a makeup artist go no further! Shannon is truly talented and I would definitely recommend her to everyone!

Shannon was absolutely amazing! I had to travel two hours for my trial and she was willing to work with me on my scheduling. She responded to my emails sometimes within 5 mins. I always felt in the loop and we had a clear game plan from the start. Then the day of the wedding she was quick and efficient. All of my girls looked beautiful. The flowers girls were adorable with their curls in the their hair. She was just a delight to work with. I am so greatful from Leanna at Just Marry for the recommendation. Everything went so well that day and it started with Shannon!

Shannon is WONDERFUL! As a stylist myself, I've never trusted anyone to do my hair -let alone my makeup for an event. After seeing her work I completely trusted her for my big day and I'm so glad I did! I looked and felt so beautiful, she definitely helped in making the day run smooth. She was prompt on messaging back and on time, which of course always makes the wedding day less stressful! I couldn't be more happy with her work and I highly recommend Shannon!

Shannon was amazing! My wedding hair and make-up were flawless. I highly recommend doing a trial run if you are not sure what you want or if you normally do not wear a lot of make-up. The trial helped me out a lot!

I think Shannon was more than helpful on my wedding day morning. She was on time, professional and put my mom at ease who was very stressed. Her team was even able to accommodate a last minute request to do my aunts hair and makeup even thought that wasn't planned. Shannon works quickly and is excellent at what she does. My hair and makeup stayed the entire night.

Shannon was absolutely amazing!!! We had another member of her team and she was fantastic! They both listened to my bridesmaids and gave them the hair style they wanted. Shannon remembered exactly how I wanted my hair and makeup from my trial months prior. I was able to contact her periodically before my wedding and ask questions. She always responded in a timely, helpful, and professional manner. She is super easy to talk to and get along with. My girls and I had a blast getting ready with her! I highly recommend!!

I don't even know where to start with Shannon. Everything about my make up and hair looked beautiful. During my trial, I asked for a darker look that she rocked. About a month before my wedding, she texted me suggesting a lighter look. The fact that she cared so much about how my make up looked shows the type of person she is. You can tell her what you are looking for and she will be honest and give her own suggestions. I originally had a different person doing my hair and a few days before the wedding I asked Shannon to do it, with no hair trial! I was so impressed with my hair at my wedding. It was perfect and stayed in place as I danced the night away. Everything about Shannon is amazing. I highly recommend her any function where you want to look beautiful!

I got married in July. A huge concern for me was sweating off make up or looking too overdone. Shannon listened to my concerns and even adjusted my hair to the weather (it was rainy and breezy). My makeup was flawless throughout the night and even when my husband and I were the last ones up (at 4 am), he took a photo of us and my makeup hadn't moved. She was very fun to work with and very calm, considering the stress surrounding the event such as late arrivals and unexpected visitors. I just got my wedding pictures back and I look at them and smile. I felt so beautiful that day and my wedding pictures reflect that. I have no regrets. I don't know what I would have done if she wasn't available on my day. There's definitely no way I would've done my own hair and makeup. Thank you for everything!

Shannon was awesome!! Bother her and Evi made my wedding day even better. Not only did my bridal party and I look amazing but we all had such a great time getting ready with Shannon and Evi. They were part of the family, we all laughed and had fun. We looked so beautiful.
