Christa at Face of a Princess is such a huge asset to this industry! I had my wedding on the 30th, Christa came very early very far from her home and kept reiterating to me to use all her time because she is not paid by the hour. She wanted things to not be rushed and wanted to get a great idea of how my bridesmaids wanted to look and how they wore makeup on a daily basis so they would feel comfortable in their own skin....Before she applies eyeshadow, she thinks about what colors she will mix to get the perfect look, she is a true artist. We all came out stunning! And she gave us all the looks we wanted, I couldn't have asked for anything more. She supported my anxieties throughout and helped to calm me down reassuring me that their will always be a minor glitch but not to worry, in her experience she has never heard of a disastrous wedding. I would recommend Christa to many girls as I know, especially where a lot of them are getting engaged. Thank you so much again Christa, you made my special day even more beautiful..

I am writing this review as I received not only outstanding service, but received top quality artistry. Christa gave me everything from foundation to contouring. She uses on the best products the best result was the expression on my husbands face as i was walking down the isle. He had tears in his eyes aand said how beauatiful I looked. Christa will make you look and feel like a true Princess.

Christa at Face of a Princess provided services for myself and my bridal party of 10 last August. We were more than pleased with the outcome. Her work is absolutely phenomenal, everything came out perfect. She honoea hwr word and if anyone's makeup needed tweeking she was MORE than happy to fix it, just as she describes it her profile. She would never leave an unhappy customer. I received an outrageous amount of compliments at my wedding. Hwe aiebeuah ans contouring work is like no other. An added bonus with Christa was how she was with me before my wedding. Checking in on me, making sure I had was pleased ans if i had any questions. Hwr line was alwaya ioen to me. She is a gem and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist any day!

I used Face of a Princess for both hair and makeup for my recent wedding and had an excellent experience!! From the very beginning Christa was super responsive and friendly, and answered any questions I had. On the day of the wedding her and her colleague Michelle showed up early and helped kick off the day with their positive energy. We had 8 different people getting hair and makeup done, and they both worked hard to make sure each person was happy / comfortable with the results. At the end, I couldn't have been happier with how everyone looked - all stunning, but at the same time so natural, which is exactly what I wanted. We just started getting pictures back and people are already commenting on how amazing our hair and makeup looked on us all. Thank you so much Christa and Michelle! I will recommend Face of a Princess to everyone.

Christa is a beautiful, kind and amazing woman. She is an expert at wedding makeup and made my special day stress-free. She made me look absolutely stunning. i got so many compliments on my makeup and have referred her to many friends. Her attitude and her energy are so positive and she is so happy! I just wanted to write this review because Christa was so phenomenal and went above and beyond to make myself and my bridal party as happy as could be!!! her Talent is beyond anything I have ever seen. she was professional, kind, sweet. she truly cared about my happiness and wanted to make my special day as perfect as it ended up being! I got married back in November of 2015... christa was amazing! Shes extremely professional yet very down to earth... She was initially hired to do my makeup during the trial we got along so well and i was so impressed i hired her to do my hair as well... hiring christa was a definite win for me... not only did i look beautiful on my wedding day but a gained a beautiful friend!

Christa did an excellent job of using the right colors for my skin tone and highlighted my best attributes. I didn't feel like I had pounds of makeup on either. Christa also has a calming sweet personality which made it all that much better. I've never looked as pretty as I did after she did my makeup

Christa did the makeup for my sisters wedding she did all the bridesmaids and the bride. And she did a beautiful job, we were all so happy with the results! I would definitely have her do my makeup again!

You will not be disappointed, not only is she an amazing make up artist, but an amazing person. She will go above and beyond to make sure you look and feel your best on your big day. Christa made the bride, the MOTB, and bridesmaids look stunning. She came to our house and her prices were very reasonable. She was very complimentary and really made us feel beautiful and special, and she is so easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her. She captured perfectly the look we wanted to achieve. She wanted us to be completely happy and satisfied, which we were!!!

Christa from Face of a Princess is utterly amazing. There is not enough space on the page to write all the good things about her! I was in a bind when I initially found Christa as my artist cancelled on me ONE week before my wedding. Christa already had a wedding that day but came to me after her early morning party. When she ARRIVED SHE WAS VERY JOYOUS AND CALM as SHE knew I was nervous. She has a presence about her that is very soothing. I had five bridesmaids AND we were a bit in a crunch for time but Christa handled it with ease. As she did each AND every person's makeup, she walked through what SHE was doing AND why. The end result, pure perfection. She didn't need to change anything as the initial application was beautiful. She played a major part in my day, she was more like a friend, though very professional. She even helped my bridesmaids get my dress on. She truly cared about my happiness and my wedding. Looking back, I am so grateful my first artist cancelled because I never would have found this diamond in the rough. I would recommend her over and over again. Thank you so much Christa, you are a wonderful person AND a truly talented artist, business person and human being!

Christa was so great to work with on my wedding day and during my trial. She was so relaxed and confident which was very contagious for me and the wedding party! The best part of course was my make up. I absolutely loved how I looked on my wedding and in all the pictures. I really loved my trial make up as well but there were changes I wanted to make and Christa absolutely nailed my requests on the day of the wedding! I was so happy that she did the air brush make up and my mom especially loved it because of the smoothness it created when she was worried about fine lines on her face. I will hire Face of a Princess any time I need make up done and recommend to everyone!

I had a very large bridal party (9 bridesmaids), few family members and few flower girls, Christa and her team was in charge of our hair and makeup. They showed up early morning and walked in with great positive attitude, they were very patient with all of us, they made us look beautiful. They took the time to make sure each person is happy with the style and colors chosen, it was a very long day for them but they never complained and at the end, I think my bridal party looked stunning; if I may say so I turned out to be a gorgeous bride. It was a very fun day. I like to thank Christa and her team for all their hard work. Loved my makeup, I was so glad that it last all day long. Christa and her team were very calm and friendly and had a great personality.

Christa from Face of a Princess is the real deal! She is beyond kind, caring, prompt, professional, and flexible! The first contact I had with Christa was through email and then phone call. She was kind and wanted to know any and all details! After speaking with her on the phone, I knew she was the one to make us beautiful on our big day! After my trial, for me and my maid of honor, we were hooked! Our make up was exactly what we had imagined! On the big day, Christa was exactly on time, set up her space, and took her time with every girl in my party, as well as family members. She handled about 13 girls and with grace! No one ever felt rushed and everyone loved their make up! I compliment Christa on her make up skills and making people feel beautiful, but more importantly on her kind, patient, and friendly nature. My whole party and family felt comfortable and like we had known her for years! i would highly recommend Christa for your wedding or any other even where you need make up! She is fun, friendly, professional, prompt, and a doll!

I was lucky enough to find christa to do my makeup for my wedding on very short notice, not only did she walk me through everything she did but also took the time to listen to my opinion. We did my trial on my bridal shower day and my makeup came out fabulous, I got so many compliments. Then my wedding day came around and she came straight to my hotel room (very early in the morning) to do myself and my wedding parties makeup. We were SO happy about the end results. I was a little hesitant to even do makeup because I usually don't wear that much, that's why it was such a last minute decision. It was the best decision ever, I felt great! I would highly recommend christa for any occasion

Christa was extremely professional, responded almost immediately to messages about my wedding hair and makeup. She worked with my very strict budget, and worked well under pressure as I did not have a trial run with her and also had 2 bridesmaids to work on. I couldnt have been happier with her work and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly, caring, talented and all-around sweet person for their wedding makeup! She even contacted me after the wedding to say "Congratulations!", which, in my opinion, was going above and beyond to please her client.

Christa is like no other. After speaking with Christa several times over the phone, I decided to hire her without even a trial. She got to know all my likes and dislikes when it came to makeup, the look i was going for, my themem venue colors and even asked i send her a picture of my wedding dress so she could take all these factors into consideration. We collaborated together on what the perfect look for me would be. Well I was left speechless after she applied my wedding makeup. It was FLAWLESS. Not only is she extraordinarily talented, she is kind, compassionate and TRULY cares. She is just beyond perfect for this industry. She deserves everything good in her career and she is so passionate about it was remarkably obvious. Unbelievable artist. She was prompt and on time at the trial and for my wedding. I had ten bridesmaids and all their makeup as well as mine was flawless. Her talent is remarkable. I read her reviews and I am horrified that some seem so unlike her. But there will always be disgruntled people in life! She is incredibly, sweet, kind and fun to work with! I recommend her 1000 times over. She even contacted me after my wedding to make sure our makeup lasted and cared how my wedding went! She is definitely a diamond in the rough!

Yesterday , Christa came to my fiancee's house to do my hair and make-up for our engagement photos. Before this, we spoke a multitude of times via text and phone partly because as soon as I told her I had a facial deformity due to my last cancer surgery and that I was absolutely a nervous wreck to have these photos done because I was afraid I was going to
look like a freak. Christa went Absolutely ABOVE and beyond for me. She asked me very relevant questions about my personal style, where the engagement photos would take place, colors.Christa was not only kind, caring, compassionate, and elegant personally, she was also professional, highly knowledgeable, intuitive, hughly skilled and talented. She took the time to tell me each technique She was doing, with which colors, and how each step would bring together the look I wanted to achieve. Christa was highly conscientious of the time frame we had (even more than me) and when she was done with my make up we decided to wait to look in the mirror until my hair was done also. Christa worked on my hair with the same skill and professionalism and was highly receptive to the look I wanted because I also wanted to add a lily to my hair. She even helped me select the perfect size and color lily that matched my style and hair perfectly!!' When we were done, Christa asked if she could come with me. As I first glanced in the mirror I was in complete SHOiCK! The first words out of my mouth were "Is THAT really ME?!.!?" I looked like a movie star, I felt like a Queen. I had never ever felt so beautiful and confident in all of my life! THANK YOU Christa for making a wish come true like a fairytale!! I can not HIGHLY RECOMMEND Christa and her talents ENOUGH!! 5 Stars is NOT enough. Christa is an absolutely diamond in every way!! Even though my wedding is not until April 30, 2017 I hired her right on the spot!! I do NOT want to risk losing her to another bride. She is THAT good!!

Christa made me look like a princess on my wedding day, September 13, 2015! I really wanted natural looking makeup and she achieved that look for me. I was very pleased with the results. Christa is the most talented artist, sweet, kind, compassionate and caring person. From my moment of contact with her, i knew we had a connection. She is so upbeat, gives a free consultation, heard my ideas and then we decided together what look to go for based on my venue, the time, my dress, my colors, the works! Christa does a wonderful trial and stayed until I was completely satiasfied. I can't imagine her ever leaving anyone dissatisfied. On my wedding day, Christa was early and all set up on time. SHE just qent with flow, which is never easy with a roomful of 7 women! She consistently checked in with me to see how I was feeling. The end result, sheer perfection. My husband was so taken aback, he cried when he saw me and just kept telling me how beautiful i was. At the reception, i had SIX people ask me for Christas number! She went so way above and beyond and she will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

First I want to start by saying how picky I am when It came down to choosing s professional to do my hair and makeup for my engagement photo shoot! These are pictures that both my fiancé and I will look back on many many years from now and I really wanted to look my best! Well Christa did just that! She was exceptionally professional and did an amazing job applying my make up using her airbrush technique (which was very fascinating!!) and her skills with eyeshadow was absolutely astonishing! Christa finishing my look off with some beautiful curls set in my hair! I was really taken back by her personality, which I found very sweet and down to earth, her organization was on point and proves to be a must when traveling, and her ability to meet a time crunch deadline without fear was exceptionally noted! The entire experience was extremely pleasant and memorable in every way! I highly recommend her to you and everyone I know and will def keep Christa in mind for all my future events!

Christa did myself and my 2 bridesmaids makeup for my October wedding and it turned out absolutely AMAZING!! I had a trial done a few months prior and christa came right to my house and was so sweet and so incredibly talented I loved the trial make up and my wedding make up. I had my makeup done by Christa from Face of a Princess and I loved it. I'm very shy when it comes to other's doing my hair and makeup and she was amazing, she made me feel so comfortable. I actually had fun doing it even though i was so nervous, but it helped keep me calm. Christa was great at matching colors to my skintone and I honestly felt amazing!

It is my pleasure to write this review for Christa. When I first met Christa, we instanlty connected. She was very interested in my wedding, for example, the theme, the cdlors, what my bouquet looked like. We decided to try something i never imagined i would but we ended up putting a mixture of about five different pinks, purples and whites to get the right effect. it was a complete success and was a totally different idea than i had originally imagined. However when she finished I knew this was how I wanted my make up on my special day. When Christa arrived early, she came in smiling brightlhy. I feel it is important not only to mention her talent in the industry, i have to mention how bright and positive she is. She kept me so calm during my "getting ready" part of the day. Christa, I just wanted to write this review because i was so absolutely happy with you, your personable self, fun loving, and most importantly, your ability to change a person's look with unbelievable talent. You were so kind to me on our initial conversation, I had to have you do my trial, which was a great success. When you met me in the Cape for my wedding, you showed up a bit early to make sure my make up and hair was flawless as well as my bridesmaids. One thing I have to mention is that we all had so much fun getting ready and you played an important part in that with your great sense of humor and easygoing personality. I myself, do not wear makeup on a daily basis, but my bridesmaids and relatives told me to check this website out and be open to options- AND I AM SO GLAD I DID. I found Christa and had a consultation with her.. I fell in love. The way she does makeup is amazing, and she talked me through each and every product and even showed me tips and tricks for my own personal use. On my wedding day, she made me feel and look like a princess- I could have not have asked for a better artist!!! I now look back on my wedding photos and Im so happy I found Christa- she is now a life long friend as well!

Oh my goodness!!!! All I have to say is I had the best experience with Christa on my trial and wedding day. She is so professional but fun and cool to be around at the same time! She gave me an incredible free consultation during my trial and I took her advice because it was abundantly clear she knows all about the industry. Phenomenally Spectacular! I can't say enough in this short paragraph to praise Christa of Face of a Princess so I will keep it short and brief. If you want the most professional, kind, fun, talented and flavored make-up and hair artist for your wedding, go with Face of a Princess. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day that I never knew I could feel so wonderful on the inside and out. Christa gave me the exact look I asked for and did it with perfection. So if you are looking for someone for your wedding, I would undoubtedly choose her. Previous to speaking with her, I allowed two other vendors to do trials and they're professionalism nor skills even came remotely close with Christa. Way to go Christa and keep up the excellent work!!!

Oh my goodness! Speechless! Christa did my make-up for my May wedding and she was the coolest person to work with! When I read her profile, I knew I wanted to use her since she states clearly that she wanted to work as a team to produce the right look and that was exactly what I wanted. I never knew anything about make-up so having her do an actual free consultation during the trial was more than I could ask for. As she did my make-up, it was like getting a make-up lesson and I have to honestly say I now wear make-up, not everyday but more so than ever! On that Saturday night, my face was flawless and got so many compliments on my make-up and how flawless my skin looked! I was totally baffled! Christa, thank you so much for giving me everything and more. You are a huge asset to this industry. I would recommend "Face of a Princess: to EVERYONE! I called Christa when I suddenly had to change my wedding plans with only two weeks notice. She was super responsive and accommodating to my needs, with not much planning time. We spoke on the phone multiple times leading up to day so that she could get all the important information such as what my venue was like, my taste in hair and makeup, and my dress style so that she could get a feel for my taste. She always responded quickly whenever I reached out with questions or to share pictures and ideas I had. The day of she was very friendly, kind, and made the morning of getting ready a truly positive atmosphere. It really is an added plus that Christa can travel to you and help you get ready wherever is easiest for you. As far as flexible, she really made things work when I had bridesmaids that had other obligations that morning and needed to fit their hair and make up into particular time slots. Everyone was pleased with how their hair and makeup looks came out, and looked beautiful! As the bride, she made me feel my most beautiful for my special day, and captured my vision for what I wanted to look like perfectly.

Krista was amazingly kind, accomodating and thoughtful. Krista and the hair dresser did everything to make my day stress free. They agreed to come at any time to the hotel to start the hair and make up which was very different from other vendors I spoke with. We were so happy with both the hair and make up. They made me feel calm and confident on my big day!

When I was trying to find a makeup artist it was very stressful I went to Mary Kay found them through a bridal expo. I went in for a trial they made me do half the inside of my face myself. Very disappointed and I went to another place in windham nh very over priced, Then I found Christa on wedding wire I thought her pictures were great! She did a trial for me I wasn't to happy with the eyelashes but the makeup part of came out awesome. My bridal party loved it. On my wedding day October 4, 2015. Christa was at my house the time we told her too be there actually was early which was great! Christa made me feel like a princess on my wedding day I was very pleased with her work. She always listened to what my bridal party and I wanted for a look. I would recommend her to anyone.

I would not recommend Christa to anyone I know. I did a trial with her and I was horrified, my fiance was horrified, and everyone I sent pictures too was horrified. She came in, and did tell me she was having a rough day so I was willing to excuse a few things, but in the end was very unprofessional and didn't care about making me happy at all. She didn't ask me about my venue, my dress, what time of day my wedding was, or even the look I was going for. All she asked was what I normally do, during which she interrupted me and said she knew just the look that would be perfect. That somehow included a ton of black eyeliner, shadow, a ton of unblended blush, and unevenly applied red lipstick. For all she knew I could have been getting married in a backyard at 11am. I didn't want to hurt her feelings and tell her to start over, but was so confused about what information I possibly gave her to give me this look. I've never seen a bridal photo with this type of makeup, and nothing on her page looks like this. I tried to get her to fix it as she was packing up, saying that I wasn't totally happy and hoping I could guide her in the right direction but she just said that she would take notes and then on the day of it would be perfect. That's not how this works. I regret paying her for her services. Very unprofessional and didn't care about what I wanted at all.

Edited to add that after I posted this review the vendor posted a completely falsified response below and sent me text messages about my 'nasty' review. Please spare yourself the experience I am currently having with this girl.
