Perfect makeup for my 40th birthday!

Nertila did my hair and makeup for a 40th birthday photo shoot that I was doing. She was able to capture exactly what I wanted to achieve. I showed her pics of what I wanted and it all turned out perfect!

Great Artist

Nertila has been doing my makeup and hair for several years now. I do not trust anyone else. She is great at what she does, takes her time to perfect every detail, and also explains the process of what she is doing. I have even learned some tricks from her. Thank you Nertila!

Amazing experience

Nertila is a very talented and professional makeup artist. I was soo happy with my look on my wedding day, as was my entire bridal party. We got many compliments on our makeup from my wedding guests. Nertila was professional, flexible, and took care in helping me and my bridesmaids achieve the look we were hoping for. We had our makeup done in the morning and I was initially worried that it may not look fresh by the end of the day, but that wasn’t the case at all. Our makeup lasted all day and looked natural and beautiful. I would recommend Nertila to any bride!

Mind at Ease

Nertila was an absolute pleasure to work with. She arrived bright and early right on time. Nertila is kind and calm and was a wonderful presence on a nerve wracking day. My family and I truly enjoyed our morning getting made up. Nertila took into account the notes from our trial and gave me a beautifully natural look. My makeup lasted over 12 hours and looked beautiful in pictures taken at the end of the night. My husband loved my look and I have Nertila to thank for that. I highly recommend Face by Nertila for all your wedding makeup needs. She is prompt, professional and extremely talented!

Phenomenal! You won’t regret booking her!

Nertila and her team (Cassandra, Bona, and Suela) were phenomenal to work with! Originally I was ghosted by another makeup artist before stumbling upon Face by Nertila. I’m so glad that happened because choosing Nertila to provide hair and makeup services on my wedding day was one of the best decisions I made. From the very beginning, Nertila was transparent, super responsive, and so kind! I was concerned about finding a makeup artist who could do makeup on my monolid eyes, but she has a lot of experience doing makeup on people of all ethnicities. She and her team made me, my bridesmaids, mothers, and flower girl look and feel beautiful. She was receptive to my needs and concerns about any allergies and sensitive skin, and also provided great feedback on how to get my skin looking it’s best for the wedding day. I have some acne scars and she was able to help conceal those as if they weren’t even there! In addition, our makeup and hair lasted ALL DAY despite the hot weather and dancing all night. I would recommend her to ALL future brides and will continue to recommend her business to any friends looking for a makeup/hair stylist! Book her now— you won’t regret it!!

Amazing to work with!

Nertila was a dream to work with for my wedding. She was responsive and thorough in answering all of my questions prior to my trial; both professional and fun to work with; and made both me and my bridesmaids look amazing day of. As someone who doesn’t wear much make up, I worried that I wouldn’t look like myself/recognizable to my groom. She eased those worries in my trial, listened to what little feedback I had, and did an incredible job making me an enhanced version of myself on my wedding day. Can’t recommend her enough!!!

Truly professional, beautiful makeup services!

Nertila did amazing makeup for myself (bride) and three of my girlfriends! She drove 2+ hours to our venue yet was still chipper and flexible throughout the services. Nertila was referred to me by several women who have hired her for their engagement photos, wedding photos, maternity photos, as well as just a night out. I first hired Nertila for my wedding shower and i was blown away! She showed up to the hotel early, was very professional and had a very organized setup with clean brushes and products (big deal for me). She did an amazing job on both my hair and makeup, so i hired her for my wedding. She showed up early once again, she did a PHENOMENAL job on both my hair and makeup, she worked around the photographer & videographer's needs, she did everything in a very timely manner, and everything included the veil lasted the entire day & night (11am until 2:30am!) I am extremely pleased with Nertila's work, and will definitely work with her in the future. Oh-and i almost forgot! She also ROCKED my 20" extensions that i didnt tell her about until the night before my wedding because they were a last minute decision! She is simply amazing. Professional, reliable, very sweet, amazing prices, and delivers quality work.

I highly, highly recommend Nertila for your wedding make-up! She did my make-up when I was a bridesmaid, and it was so perfect I knew I HAD to book her for my wedding! Her team is amazing, her flexibility and professionalism put me at ease- not to mention her TALENT! Nertila does absolutely amazing work!! I fell in love with her at my bridal trial appt. She felt like family and has such a calming spirit, which is perfect for wedding day! I had gone to many makeup trials where the makeup artist looks at the picture your want and recreates it, but Nertila is so great at giving her honest opinion and giving you advice on how it will look on you. She's able to make the changes to the look to fit your skin tone, and make you look better than the original picture. Due to the large group of girls getting ready for my wedding, we had to start at 5am and Nertila and her team were right on time and finished on schedule! Very professional and prepared. I highly recommend Nertila!!

Nertila made me feel and look beautiful for my wedding! I needed a makeup and hair artist who could come on-site and do makeup/hair for me and my five bridesmaids. I went to a few consultations but wasn't particularly happy with any one of them... until my consultation with Nertila. I am of Korean descent, so it was important for me to find someone who understood my skin tone and the variation in the shape of my eyes and other features when doing makeup as it can make a HUGE difference in the final outcome. Nertila not only had experience working with people of different ethnicities, but she was so, so patient in listening to what I wanted and did not rush me as we made the few modifications I asked for. As a result, the final outcome for my wedding day was even better! Nertila was also so fun and delightful to work with. We chatted a bunch throughout the few hours that she spent with me and my bridesmaids, which reduced my nervousness and helped me enjoy the experience of my wedding day. I couldn't recommend Nertila enough.

I had a great experience with Nertila! She uses great products that don't make you feel like the makeup is caked on your face! She also made me feel so comfortable! And Nertila was able to nail the look I wanted, even though I'm sure I wasn't communicating very well! She gave me individual lashes that looked amazing too! I felt like myself! And so pretty! All my bridesmaids LOVED their makeup too! I would recommend Nertila to anyone!

Nertila is a true professional and an artist with makeup! She recently did my makeup for a wedding this past May and it came out flawless.

I cannot express how happy I am with the service, flexibility, and overall experience I had with Nertila and her team. From initial contact to the day of my wedding Nertila was so helpful and she really put me at ease. Makeup was something I was very particular about. As a bride, I wanted to still look like myself, but a more enhanced version. Nertila sat with me for my consultation and really listened to understand what I wanted. I think Nertila has a very natural ability to just look a someone and know what will work on them and what wont (an ability I was NOT born with :) ). I had a very large wedding party (10 girls, plus my mom) that Nertila and her team worked on the day of my wedding. Every SINGLE girl was so pleased with their makeup and hair (not to mention we did not have to do ANY touch ups throughout the whole night!).

I will continue to use Nertila for any of my future events I have and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing, talented women to enhance their natural beauty!

Nertila was exceptional. At my trial, she worked with me to get the colors and look just right, asking a TON of questions along with way. I called her shortly after to let her know that I wasn't super happy with the foundation (I have oily skin and it began to melt a bit). She immediately booked me for another FREE trial! Second application was picture perfect.

Day of, she arrived with her team a bit early and walked through the door precisely on time. They set up and started work. Within an hour, there was literally a line of ladies who saw how fabulous the makeup was and were hoping to get theirs done too if there was time. Luckily there was time to get everyone in.

Overall Nertila was extremely easy to work with, did a fabulous job from myself and bridal party to my aunties and Mom. Highly recommend her.

Nertila did my makeup and hair for our engagement shoot in Michigan. Since I live in California, I used WeddingWire to find an artist. When I saw her awesome reviews, I followed her on Instagram, and decided to go with her. I wasn't disappointed! Nertila was amazing and I really loved my hair and make up for the engagement session. She was very responsive to my many questions (we had a long email thread). Her workstation was very professional, all clean and organized, and I just had a great time getting my makeup/hair done! I am very simple with the way I do my make up, but she made me try new colors which I really loved. I received many compliments about my hair and makeup while I was doing the shoot, and I really appreciate her work!

Our wedding is in California and if I just had more money I would fly her out to do my wedding hair/make up. Even my mom said to show Nertila's work to my California makeup artist as my mom really loved how my makeup was done.

Nertila was amazing!!! We had so much fun getting ready for my wedding and I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup. She went above and beyond to make all my girls feel special. My daughter said she felt like a movie star and my not a "girly girl" sister-in-law is now in love with false lashes! It's not often that you get superior service and a fun easy going personality in the same package. This is who you NEED for your wedding day!!

I used Nertila for my hair and makeup for my bridal services. She showed up right on time, came prepared and got right to work right in my home. What a pleasure it was to have my face painted by Nertila. I'm always very concious of what pake up artists i use because i like really light and natural make up and Nertila delivered just that. She listened to my ideas and took everything i said on board. I looked amazing in my big day and my husband loved the fact that i still looked like me. Nertila does a fabulous job with different styles of makeup. Whether it's a dramatic look for a fancy night out or a softer, more natural look she is really great at meeting the needs of the client. She also does a great job at highlighting the right parts of your face to make your look truly photogenic no matter what look she gives you.

Nertila is so pleasant to be around. She makes it feel like you've known her forever, and is just so friendly and down to earth. She really listens to what YOU want. I love the way she does makeup! Nertila always does an incredible job. She's done my makeup for my best friends wedding, as well as other events and she always makes me look/feel gorgeous. I've also hired her to do makeup for my photo sessions - she's who I go to first. Nertila always perfects the looks I want on my models and isn't afraid to try new things. She's clean, professional, TALENTED, great personality and most importantly for me ON TIME. I recommend her to everyone I know in Michigan.

She does an incredible/quality job. You can't beat her prices either. One time my face was burned and I had an event to go to. I went to Nertila and she fixed me right up. I can always trust her to make my face look beautiful :)

I would recommend Nertila to anyone for any special occasion. She did my hair and makeup on my wedding day, and I would have used her again and not changed a thing. I explained to her what I wanted she took that idea and made it even better than I could have imagined. She was so kind and helpful, she wanted me to have exactly what I wanted. We had a trial run before my wedding and on the day nothing had changed. She knew exactly what to do, she was on time and makes everything about you. Her prices are affordable as well. I would have used her regardless, and will continue to use her for upcoming events.

Words can not express how great of a make up artist Nertila is . She is one of the kindes and most understanding person I have ever met . Despite the fact that she has great prizes , You will also know right away that she truly loves what she does and that is what makes Nertila different from other make up artists. She did my make up and hair for my engagement pictures and of course for my wedding day as well . All of my bridal party and my make up looked beautiful and held flawlessly throughout the day despite the humid , heat and tears of happiness .
