Exceeded our expectations
Our wedding cake from Fabulous Fare was stunning and absolutely delicious. Jaclyn took our vision and turned our dream wedding cake into a reality. She has a wide variety of cake, icing and filling flavors and can customize your cake to whatever you'd like. Jaclyn is so easy to work with and was quick to respond to our questions. Highly recommend Fabulous Fare for a delicious and beautiful cake for any event! -

Great Bride and Groom Cakes
Jaclyn did an incredible job on mine and my wife's wedding cakes! She met with us for a free consultation before we agreed to use her as our vendor and discussed flavors and tasting options. My wife and I live in Midland, so it was difficult to meet in College Station for a tasting but Jaclyn met us on the road while we were driving to Houston just to provide us some flavor options! My wife knew exactly what she wanted her cake to look like, but I had no idea. I work in the oil industry and went to A&M, so Jaclyn gave me some amazing ideas on incorporating both of those themes on my cake. She was easy to stay in communication with and we were very pleased with her pricing. She brought our cakes to the venue which was a great plus. I highly recommend Jaclyn and Fabulous Fare. -

Jaclyn did an AMAZING job on both of our cakes. Our main cake was a "naked" cake which turned out to be even more beautiful than I could have possibly imagined and the grooms cake was an oil derrick with an A&M logo on it which looked stunningly realistic! We were not sure of what we wanted when we first met with her and she helped us create the cakes of our dreams. My husband had absolutely no idea what to do for his cake and once she heard he was an Aggie and worked in the oil and gas industry she was actually the one to suggest his cake idea. SOOO many people at our wedding were awing over the cakes, not only how they looked but how they tasted! She used real berries to make the main cakes filling which made it test very fresh and light. Also, my husband and I live 9 hours away in Midland and when we contacted her we gave her very little notice and luckily she still happily scheduled a time that we could meet to draw out plans and work pricing. Then to make working with us even more difficult we were driving through on our way to Houston and still needed to do a tasting and she met us in a parking lot to deliver all of our requested flavors! She also even offered to remake the top layer of our cake when our 1 year anniversary came around in case we couldn't travel back home with the original. Talk about outstanding service!! On top of all that, her prices were literally unbeatable.... which is crazy because the cakes were absolutely perfect in every way! The main wedding cake was even featured in the Spring/Summer edition of Brazos Valley Bridal magazine, THATS how perfect they were. Don't look any further, CHOOSE FABULOUS FARE!!!!! -

Jacklyn was so great! I put in my order for my cake and cupcakes only 2 weeks before my wedding. It was a very simple cake but she did a great job. She delivered and set up the cake and cupcakes at my venue as well. She was the sweetest and was so great to work with. I’d recommend her to anyone. -
David Sent on 06/19/2018Jaclyn did a fantastic 4-tier cake for our wedding and her decorating skills with the flowers put our florist to shame! Of course the most important part was the flavor, and man, did this cake deliver! I am so glad we had lots of leftovers because I can't stop eating it!

Madison Sent on 12/07/2015Jaclyn made our cakes for our wedding this past weekend and not only were they gorgeous, they tasted HEAVENLY! I showed Jaclyn a photo of what I wanted for our cakes and she hit the nail on the head. Our cakes were beautiful! When we did our cake tasting, she provided a plethora of cakes, icings and fillings to sample. It was a little hard to choose, they were all great! -

We told her our ideas and she was the only one who didn't attempt to tell us that what we wanted was "wrong" for a wedding. The tasting is amazing since we can do it on our own time and mix & match the cakes & icings. We ended up with a mint chocolate & white almond marble cake. It looked AMAZING and it tasted even better. But that's not even the BEST PART! My new mother-in-law found out that I only got the one bite of cake and no more, and called Jacky and she DELIVERED me a mini version of our cake a few days later!
I am so impressed with her. I would use Fabulous Fare for any dessert needs I have now or in the future!! -

Holly Sent on 05/24/2014Special thanks to Jaclyn for making the most delicious wedding cake and coming through in the clutch for our groom's cake! After some things came up and we were unable to meet for an "official cake tasting," Jaclyn was nice enough to overnight us icing/filling/cake samples in the mail and allow us to have an at-home cake tasting (all my family included)! We were able to try out different combinations at our leisure and then email/call her with our finalized choices! On our wedding day, I saw the cake and it was JUST as I imagined! And tasted even better than I remembered! Originally, we asked our venue to provide bread pudding as a substitute for the groom's cake, but unfortunately, the price of the bread pudding ended up being a bit over budget. Therefore, we contacted Jaclyn a week before the wedding and she was able to add another cake on to the schedule for us. She made a knock out groom's cake in the shape of a Crown Royal bottle - absolutely amazing! The groom was not disappointed! Thank you Jaclyn! You're the best! -

User2453535 Sent on 12/04/2015Yum!! Fabulous Fair's cake flavors, icings, and fillings had my mouth watering after my first cake tasting. In fact, I liked the cake so much that I asked Fabulous Fair to provide the cake for my rehearsal dinner as well! If you decide to go with Fabulous Fair (which you should!), you have to make sure you try their chocolate truffle filling. It is to DIE for! -
User2933870 Sent on 12/31/2016Jaclyn creates beautiful products & we are so glad we ended up having her. The only reason for the lower stars is that she wasn't always completely responsive to emails so I finally started texting her and got much faster replies. I honestly believe Jaclyn's specially is cakes - not the business side of it. I didn't see my cakes until we walked up to cut them and I immediately said "whoa!" They were exactly what I wanted. Perfection. And prices - can't be beat for the quality cakes you receive!
