Andre and Irene are amazing! We loved working with them. They were our wedding photographers back in March. Andre did a great job guiding us and making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. They are both so sweet and easy to work with. Irene is a great communicator and I felt comfortable with her the first moment I talked to her. I highly recommend Eye Connoisseur for all of your photography needs. -

Andre and Irene of Eye Connoisseur gave me exactly what I wanted for wedding photography. I had a vision for a few shots which they communicated with me clearly about and delivered perfectly.
For example, I wanted:
1) A flat lay of my wedding details, such as the invitation, shoes, and veil
2) A shot from the balcony of the church looking down on all the guests
3) A variety of family portraits involving various configurations of family members
4) A sweet moment of the bride and groom underneath my veil
Irene listened to me on the phone in advance to the wedding and the end results were exactly what I wanted.
On the day of the wedding, Andre brought tons of energy. He didn’t miss a moment to get a good shot and was super active and attentive throughout the 6 hours we hired the team for. Andre was also very good at talking to the children and getting them to look at the camera and pose appropriately. No family portraits were ruined by a nephew with his tongue out!
Eye Connoisseur was quick to deliver teaser photos before the complete album was ready, so I could start printing my photo thank-you cards. The full online album they delivered later was well organized into six sub-albums, making it easy to navigate through the hundreds of shots.
10/10 I would hire Andre and Irene of Eye Connoisseur again for any wedding or big event.

Fun and amazing services!
Irene and Andre did a fantastic job capturing our wedding and the moments leading up to it! They really helped us express ourselves and I felt like a true model during the photoshoots. Our friends and family really enjoyed working with them as well because they kept things fun and light. We will definitely be recommending them to any friends of ours that get engaged! -

We went through a number of photographers before deciding on Eye Connoisseur Photography. They were AMAZING and exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, they were thorough and very detailed. They understood what our vision was and although we did not have a videographer; they brought our wedding to life through each photo telling a story from the beginning to the end of our ceremony. Love our photos!
Andre and Irene were a pleasure to work with from the day we first met them to the very end when we received our wedding album! On the day of, they both helped to make everyone comfortable and made sure we stuck to our wishlist of a shot list, which was really helpful because if you're a couple like us, we got tired with photos really quick lol. I'm really grateful for them and I love the shots we have from the entire day! We also just got our wedding album that came with our package and it is SO CLASSY!!! I'm obsessed with how it turned out and is a great way to relive the best day of our lives. -

Andre and Irene were so easy to work with and the pictures came out amazing! We hired Andre for our engagement/wedding photos after coming across some of his work on Instagram/google and he did not disappoint! The photos have a certain style to them that makes them feel more authentic and genuine. Andre was really good at making us look good. Irene and Andre are incredibly professional and have a way of making you feel at ease throughout the entire wedding photography process (especially helpful for those of us not super-comfortable being in front of a camera for so long). From the beginning with our engagement photo shoot, Irene and Andre were able to keep us smiling and laughing through the many photos taken that day, which then carried over and had us well prepared for our wedding day. On a day that can already be overwhelming and exhausting, Andre and Irene kept the energy and enthusiasm going from the pre-ceremony photos to the ceremony photos and on through the night as our guests partied and danced the night away. Even in the days after our wedding, many of our guests continued to comment on how great our photographers were in capturing the entire celebration and how they were able to be so comfortable with everyone. We developed such a good relationship with Andre and Irene that it felt like they were also our wedding guests and not just our wedding photographers. Our finished wedding album is absolutely stunning, and we could not be happier with our choice of having Irene and Andre of Eye Connoisseur be our wedding photographers and wedding guests. -

Your photos with Eye Connoisseur may be the sexiest you’ll ever look while fully clothed
My fiancée Rebecca and I recently had the pleasure of taking our engagement photos in November 2020 with Andre and Irene of Eye Connoisseur. We selected them after attending the Arden Hills vendor open house earlier this year after they expressed their interest in photographing our wedding. “You two look like models; it’s not often we get to take pictures of a tall, beautiful, mixed couple.” Needless to say, we were flattered, especially after seeing the quality of their work at their display booth. It set the standard for us, and they were the first vendor that we booked for our wedding. For me, photography is a fun hobby and a passion, and you can tell it’s the same for Andre and Irene, but with that much-needed professional touch; they take their work seriously, and it shows. Everyone is facing a lot of uncertainty this year and we were no different; our wedding was originally set for November, but our decision to postpone to next year pushed our planned summer engagement shoot into the late fall, which meant we had to be very mindful of the time of day and take the lighting conditions into account. Over the last few months Andre and Irene have been understanding, flexible, and gracious in changing our wedding/reception day, and helping us select the best day for our session in Downtown Sacramento near the Capitol, keeping a close eye on the ever-changing weather forecast, keeping us in the loop, and selecting the best locations to take pictures.
Andre treats you like a professional model. He will set the scene, place you in it, and make even the most ordinary places look other-worldly. One set of pictures that we took in a small cactus garden ended up looking like we were in the Arizona desert. He takes a very hands-on, targeted approach in directing couples for photoshoots, which I am personally not used to, but it was just what Rebecca needed. She’s not used to being the center of attention and rarely likes how she looks in pictures, but Andre’s clear vision and direction helped her to feel more comfortable, and most importantly, confident about what she was doing, and how she would look. She’s always beautiful to me, but of course I’m biased, so for her to be able to see herself as I see her, especially from an outside lens, was as important to me as it was to her. Andre has a knack for capturing those key moments; other photographers might rely on taking rapid bursts of photos in continuous mode and picking the best one out of 5, but you could tell Andre knew exactly what he was looking for, how to get it out of us, and to capture it exactly as he envisioned. He takes one shot at a time, and checks it right after to make sure the focus, exposure, everything is right for the location and time of day, with Irene in tow keeping track of all the gear and making sure he doesn’t accidentally walk back into the middle of the street. There were some occasions when I was looking right into Rebecca’s eyes, expecting to hear those clicks that would capture you in what you think is one of those moments, but once you remember to focus on how in love you are with each other, Andre is able to take care of the rest and capture those very real moments where you’re partially posing, but genuinely expressing your feelings. There were times that we got so into the hugging, kissing, smiling, loving... that we forgot they were there. We had a lot of fun that day, and them being a couple themselves, they had no issues capturing our mutual joy. Our only regret is that we were unable to have dinner together afterward as they usually do with their couples.
Our wedding day is still a few months away (and hopefully not more than a few!) but after seeing the results of our engagement photoshoot, we’re confident and excited that Andre and Irene will be the ones to capture us when we’re all dressed up for our special day.
TL;DR: Your photos with Eye Connoisseur may be the sexiest you’ll ever look while fully clothed. Review of wedding photos to follow soon. -

We came across Andre and Irene at a bridal show and fell in love with their beautiful albums and photography! We knew immediately they were the right people to capture our wedding and they did not disappoint! We have never taken professional photos before so we were a bit awkward but Andre and Irene guided us throughout our engagement shoot and wedding day. You cannot go wrong with Eye Connoisseur Andre truly has such an eye for photography and Irene does all the little things, the perfect team. The time and attention to detail that went into editing each photo sets them apart from the rest! Our album came out absolutely beautiful and we’ve gotten so many compliments. Creative Photographer, Great Experience
Andre and Irene were great!They work very well as a team. My husband and I are not professional models, and we don't get our pictures taken very often. Not knowing what to do, Irene and Andre guided us on what to do, first with an engagement shoot, and then at the wedding! We highly encourage anyone who chooses Irene and Andre to do an engagement shoot with them first, that way your wedding day goes smoothly. We couldn't believe some of the images we received back from our wedding! They were amazing! Being a stressed out bride, I honestly couldn't remember much of the day at all. They captured everything, and presented us with a unique story that was all our own. As a tip, be patient if you book this vendor during wedding season. They shoot A LOT of weddings, which means they have a lot of photos to process for each couple. Just be patient, and you won't be sorry with the results! The images were very professional and creative. Very happy customers! -

I’m so glad we went that day because that’s when we found Andre and Irene. From the minute we met them they were so nice and showed us all of their work going from photographer to photographer seeing everyone’s work theirs was the one that stuck out to me the most. Not only were they extremely nice they were very good at what they do. We didn’t use them for our engagement shoot because we had a family friend do ours, which I regret, but for the wedding day they were just absolutely fantastic. We had so many great pictures taken and let me tell you Andre really has an eye for things, we have only received a sneak peak of our pictures so far and they are just breath taking. Andre and Irene felt like family to us and were just the funnest people to be around, after our wedding our family and friends just kept talking about how great our photographers were and how they really interacted with everyone and made our special night that much more enjoyable. We can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures being edited and get our album made because I already know it’s going to be just phenomenal. If your looking for a wedding photographer look no farther because I’m telling you right now out of all 11 photographers work I’ve seen theirs is by far the best work. They take their time getting photos back to you because they really take their time with all of our photos to make sure they are perfect. They both are so wonderful. Very out going, very professional and helped us completely through our process of our engagement photos to our wedding photos.
We found out of all the photographers we talked to at the wedding shows that they knew how to sell themselves. Most if not the rest of the photographers at the shows didn't seem to know how to talk to people.
Andre and Irene worked with us completely to make our wedding photography a breeze. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for any sort of photography.
We just saw our new wedding Album and it is so beautiful and the work they did in making it is great. We both really love it a lot. Thank you Irene and Andre!

Nicole Sent on 08/19/2015We picked Eye Connoisseur to photograph our wedding because Andre and Irene are incredible at capturing the story that is your wedding day. My wife and I first saw their work when looking at wedding venues. There were multiple albums to show one venue, but their work really caught my eyes. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised the first time we met with Andre and Irene. When they pulled out their wedding and engagement albums, there was something familiar about them. With a kind reminder from my wife, a light bulb went on! "They did the album I really liked!" Well it turned out they did the album WE really liked because my wife felt the same. It took about six steps outside of their studio for us to agree on Eye Connoisseur!
The reason Andre and Irene produce such a great final product is they work their butts off for you. We did our engagement shoot and had an absolute blast. Andre drove us to multiple locations around Sacramento and they were dedicated to setting us up for great pictures. On our wedding day, we were able to display the amazing, unique guest book that Andre and Irene created for us, using the photos from our engagement shoot. To this day, when we reunite with family and friends that we haven't seen since the wedding, all they can talk about is our awesome guest book. It currently resides on the mantle above our fireplace for us to enjoy everyday
Andre and Irene are a solid team. They were organized and coordinated each time we worked with them. They also have amazing energy. They went above and beyond on our wedding day. They showed up early and ready to capture every moment. And when the ceremony was done and the reception began, there was Andre taking it to the next level. He pays attention to the entire room, not leaving anyone out. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our decision in hiring Eye Connoisseur to capture our big day.
