We hired Shannon as our wedding Emcee/DJ and we couldn't have chosen better. He had so many great ideas for our reception that we'd never heard of before and our guests LOVED it. They were raving about how great our DJ was. He taught everyone the dances and his energy was contagious. Shannon really took the time to get to know us as a couple and on the day of he was so kind and attentive to our needs, always asking how we were and if we needed anything. I had mentioned that it was my dad's birthday and that we would like to recognize him at some point and Shannon took the reins and made sure there was a special cupcake set aside with a candle and that all the guests sang Happy Birthday. It was really special. The DJ stand was really cool too, we were able to get some pictures together that played on the front on the booth. We highly recommend ESP, well worth it!

If I could give Extreme Southern Productions more than five stars, I would.
From the moment our reception started until the very last song, Dave and the team at Extreme Southern Productions were absolutely incredible. They kept the dance floor packed all night, brought amazing energy, and made sure everything flowed seamlessly.
What truly set them apart was their attention to detail. They didn't miss a single thing we asked them to do. Every announcement, every song, every transition, and every special moment happened exactly as we had envisioned. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing everything was being handled so perfectly.
Dave also went above and beyond for us personally. Every 15 minutes or so, he checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, brought us drinks throughout the night, and made sure we were actually able to enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about a thing. Those little moments meant so much and made us feel so taken care of.
Dave and the entire team were kind, organized, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding everything we dreamed it would be. Our guests had an absolute blast, and we've heard over and over that it was one of the most fun weddings they've ever been to.

Absolutely perfect! Loved the energy and customization to our couple
We hired Extreme Southern Productions for our daughter’s wedding, and Shannon did an outstanding job from start to finish. He was professional, respectful, and incredibly easy to work with throughout the entire event.
What really stood out was his energy and enthusiasm. He kept things moving at a great pace without ever making anyone feel rushed. The reception never had a dull moment, and he always seemed to know exactly what to do next to keep everyone engaged and having fun.
He had plenty of creative and entertaining activities that got guests involved, and people of all ages seemed to enjoy themselves. He was also genuinely friendly and complimentary to everyone he interacted with, which helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
A good DJ can play music, but a great DJ can help create memories. He did exactly that. We received many compliments from our guests, and we’re grateful for the part he played in making our daughter’s wedding such a special day.

Shannon and Morgan absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the very first meeting to the last dance and even tear down, they were amazing to work with. They kept everything running on time, managed the flow of the night perfectly, and kept the dance floor packed the entire evening.
Shannon was constantly checking on my husband and me throughout the night making sure we had drinks, were doing okay, and had everything we needed. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect.

We utilized Extreme Southern Productions for our 100th day of school glow party celebration! Gary was so excited to host this event us, and even came up with an original song for our school that he taught all the kids at the celebration! He was very quick to respond to texts/emails, had all the paperwork submitted in a timely manner, was super professional, and just made the overall atmosphere of the day so fun and inviting for all our staff and students! After attending 3 weddings with ESP being the DJ, I absolutely knew I wanted them at my own! They were the first vendor we booked in the planning process and it was a no brainer. Each wedding I had seen them at had a different vibe, but all 3 times the energy, music, and overall experience was made so amazing by them. Shannon and Destiny made our big day more than we could have imagined. They made sure we had everything we needed/wanted and never hesitated to help us. Absolutely amazing! Our DJ went above and beyond in every possible way. He wasn’t just a DJ — he was our day-of coordinator, hype man, and the life of the party all in one. They had great value for the money. The DJ set up was amazing and they were so fun to work with. Kept the energy up and did a wonderful job with the ceremony and having a mic on the officiant and groom. Everything went off without a hitch and couldn’t be happier with the work. The Photo Booth was very simple and yeast to use and they had so many options of props to choose from.
If you are on the fence choosing them don’t be they are one of the best by far and you could not go wrong.

Our wedding DJ was amazing! He really knew how to keep the party going and made sure there was never a boring moment. He played the perfect mix of music and always seemed to know exactly what the crowd wanted to hear. He paid close attention to everything and helped keep the whole night flowing smoothly. From the ceremony to the last song, he made sure we stayed on schedule and that everything went just the way we planned. ESP! We cannot say enough wonderful things about this team of people. We started this journey with Shannon by us sitting down together and getting a game plan of what all we wanted for our ceremony and reception. If you do not have a wedding planner, don’t sweat it! This is another wonderful thing this team does to make your special day run so smoothly! Shannon talked through all of our songs, people involved in the wedding, and what different activities we wanted to incorporate in our night. He created a very detailed itinerary which made the night go so so smooth. The party happened thanks to Dave and his assistant! These two were on top of everything! From the ceremony to the sparkler send off. They were right there always offering their assistance and keeping the night flowing. Dave’s interaction with the crowd is top notch and when the party starts to get quiet, they are right there ready to get it bumping again. We had so many people ask about our DJ and commented how great they did. My wife and I are so happy we choose Extreme Southern Productions. The absolute BEST experience
I have to say - y'all exceeded our expectations Saturday night!!! The dance floor was never empty! We were pulled away several times but the party never stopped!! It was incredible! Dave & Morgan did a fantastic job keeping the crowd engaged and we loved that he would come on the floor and lead some of the line dances! He made sure we were taken care of the entire night. He even brought water over to the church for us after the ceremony which was so thoughtful! He stayed on top of things and was able to keep steady communication with us the whole night & was flexible with our timeline. The Photo Booth was also a huge hit! We got so many compliments on the DJ and Photo Booth we will certainly be recommending y'all to everyone we know!

We had great assistance in planning the evening including weaving in some special moments making our night absolutely perfect. I never wrote reviews but I need everyone to know how absolutely wonderful Shannon and his team made our wedding day. When looking for a DJ for a wedding, we thought it was just music and occasional announcements. Shannon and his team completely exceeded all of our expectations. The planning process of a wedding can be so stressful, but he made it fun and helped us through our million and one questions. He was quick to respond, patient and on top of everything. The day of the wedding was a dream thanks to the DJ. Our guests have not stopped talking about how much fun he was and how it was one of the most lively weddings they have attended. Shannon made sure his style flowed with our wedding day and was so kind. He is not only an incredible DJ, but an even better person. We met Shannon with Extreme Southern Productions at an open house event last April and from the moment we met, we knew we wanted ESP on board for our special day! From start to finish, Shannon delivered top-notch service and professionalism, making our wedding night unforgettable. His energy was contagious and the excitement never faded. Having a full, vibrant dance floor was an important to us and Shannon certainly delivered!
Shannon took the time to communicate openly and clearly with us before the big day, making sure he understood our vision and expectations. He went above and beyond to be inclusive of everyone, making sure that all of our guests felt welcome and involved in the celebration. Even weeks later, we’re still hearing rave reviews about how incredible our DJ was, and we couldn’t agree more. Shannon and his team were A plus Entertainment. Everything from the pre planning zoom up to the event was smooth and professionally managed. Not only was it the greatest day but this isn't your cookie cutter Wedding DJ. The sounds, lights, and interacting are all Top Tier. We had a reception close to 175 people and everyone had a blast and showed lots of praise. We especially loved the games he played with the crowd, from Thunderstruck, the Photo Challenge, to our own custom Soul Train Line it was perfect. You won't be sitting there bored thats for sure! I recommend the EXTREME package, it made our venue feel like a club! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Our experience with ESP was absolutely amazing from the moment we met Shannon at a wedding expo. He was kind and authentic from the beginning. We genuinely enjoyed our meeting where we not only finalized the plan for our big day, but also felt so seen and heard by him. It felt like we were hanging out with a family friend. From the moment we had our first meeting with Shannon to discuss the flow of the day we were more than impressed. We had such a wonderful experience with ESP! Wonderful communication, kept the day running so smoothly, always made sure I had something to drink and that we were happy and comfortable. The Best DJ EVER !!!!!!
Shannon is absolutely the best DJ you will ever hire. Don’t even read this, HIRE HIM RIGHT NOW! Not only is he an amazingly talented DJ, but he is very professional and has documents to help you start planning your day from the start. He is also an entertainer and brings unmatched energy to the table. He will make sure to keep the party going at your reception. We never hired a wedding planner and the day of the wedding he helped coordinate multiple things to help us out even though he didn’t have to. Our guests are still constantly telling us that our wedding was by far the most fun wedding they have ever been to, Shannon and his wife were a key part in all the fun. If you want your day to be the best it can be you need to Hire ESP !

Shannon and his team were incredible to work with!! ESP came highly recommended to us through word of mouth and now we know why. Not only were they open to all of our ideas and accommodating to our requests but they offered so many suggestions on how to keep our guests engaged and on the dance floor all night long. 💯 the Best DJ Service Ever! DJ SHANNON took alot of the stress and worry off of us after our 1st meeting with him all I remember us saying was wow we feel so much better! He helped us plan every minute from the beginning of our ceremony to the last song! If we needed anything or wanted to change or add something all we had to do was message him and he was right on it! The professionalism that this company shows is above and beyond! They showed up and made our special day run so smooth and everyone we talk to keeps saying how awesome our DJ and his assistant Destany were! Esp went above and beyond our expectations
My wedding was out of state , I am a bride from Michigan and I was referred to ESP by another vendor I was working with. Boy was I lucky to be able to work with Shannon and his amazing crew.
Not only was the experience super easy but it was extremely personable. Shannon gave every attention to detail and executed our wedding ceremony/resection without a single flaw.
With being a master of ceremony he took time out of his own personal life to nail down every hour of our wedding night ! Making sure my husband and I were completely taken care of — down to asking us what we wanted to drink !!! I am so pleased and fortunate to have worked along side such an amazing person that I now view as a great friend of mine !!!!!

We booked with ESP because we have seen them first hand at multiple other weddings we have been to. So, we already knew they would provide a wonderful, fun experience. & They did an excellent job from start to finish! But, what I didn’t know was how much went on behind the scenes and that is why ESP stands out to me. I really appreciate the time they put in beforehand to ensure everything ran smoothly the day of. There was an open line of communication throughout the whole process and it was very easy to work with them, make changes to our schedule & songs, etc. They coordinated the flow of my reception and it was nice to get advice from a very experienced individual to help when making those decisions. ESP is very professional, friendly and kept the party going and everyone on the dance floor! I would highly recommend ESP for your upcoming event!

My dream wedding
Our wedding was a dream thanks to Shannon + Dave! We could've gone all night. They made sure our guests were entertained from start to finish. It was the best night of our lives & we got compliments all night, even 2 days later, about how awesome the DJing was and how it's the best wedding they've ever been to! It means so much to hear that!
When you're planning a wedding, at first you don't realize how much you'll need to rely on your DJ. Shannon had our itinerary to us back in March, 3 months before our wedding!! He was always willing to move things around when it was needed. He made sure we were comfortable with everything that was planned and I am not kidding when I say, aside from being the DJ, he would've done anything for us. That was the best part of it all! He was with us all night to make sure we had our drinks if we were running low, checking in to be sure everything was going smooth, all night. I never had to stress once thanks to ESP!
It was an absolute pleasure working with them and I would 110% recommend ESP for any and every event, not just weddings. They'll be sure to give you a good time!

Shannon with ESP DJed at our wedding on 5/20/2023 and he was AMAZING! We first met Shannon in March for our pre-wedding consultation and he was so personable and you could tell he really takes the times to get to know his clients! The day of the wedding came and he was there on time to get set up, and once the reception began everything went so smoothly! I’ve had multiple people tell me the music was great and they really enjoyed the couple of games we played that night. Shannon stuck to our vibe we gave him during our consultation (which we really appreciated since our crowd was largely young and we wanted no typical wedding songs played 😊), checked on us multiples times throughout the night and definitely made a lasting impression on us and our guests! We are so happy we went with him as our DJ! If we ever need a DJ for anything else, we will be sure to book him. 😊

Shannon and Dave were the best dynamic duo! My parents attended a wedding that Shannon was DJing several years ago, and my dad immediately said that when it was my turn to get married. Shannon and ESP needed to be the DJ. When the time came to start looking at our options we knew that we would have to book fast if we wanted ESP. On my dads recommendation, we booked. Then we got to experience Shannon and Destiny at my brother's wedding. My husband and I knew we made the right choice in booking ESP.
Shannon and Dave made our wedding the celebration I always hoped for. Shannon worked with me in our consultation to pull off a surprise song switch for my Jurassic Park loving husband. We did our consultation via Zoom since my husband was traveling for work at the time, and Shannon was willing to stay on the call after he logged off to make plans for my surprise and it was absolutely perfect on our wedding day.
Dave was able to test his independent skills at our wedding and did a wonderful job. He interacted with the crowd and was able to make adjustments as needed to make our day perfect.
You can't ask for a better DJ than Shannon and his team at ESP! They are wonderful!

Extreme Southern Productions was so easy to work with and everyone loved them!! They did our annual Christmas party and I had lots of employees comment on how fun and interactive they were. We will definitely be using them again!

Best DJ & Reception Host in the Kentuckian Area!
Shannon and the rest of the members of Extreme Southern Productions helped to make my reception not only dream-worthy, but also a reception that guests from my wedding still comment on to this day! My first impression of Shannon was actually from another wedding he was the DJ for a few months before my wedding- I knew from that moment that I wanted to work with his company since they made such a lasting impression on me! It was the most fun and creative wedding reception I had ever been to! Fast forward to hiring him for my own reception, Shannon was extremely prompt and professional with all communication via the phone and on social media; he set up a time that my husband and I could meet with him to discuss how we wanted our reception to be (the perfect set of questions to really get to know myself and what 'type' of reception we wanted). He talked about some creative and fun ideas that not many other DJ/Hosts have thought of before, prompting my husband and I to really think about how engaged we want our guests to be, and how 'classy verses sassy' we wanted our reception to feel. I left that meeting totally in awe and placed my 100% comfort in him!
Now fast forward to my 'planned' wedding day- I actual contracted COVID-19 2 days before my wedding and had to cancel the whole event. My wedding planner was able to chat with Shannon about my cancelled event; and to my surprise, he not only agreed to reserve my 'new' wedding date the following year but he didn't tack on extra cancellation charges that most DJs would have. I will forever be grateful for that! Now...fast forward to this year's wedding- our 'I Do Part 2'! I still wanted my reception to be just as it was planned the year before and Shannon made that happen! He was able to make it feel just how I had always wanted my reception to be! It was fun, quirky, creative, high energy, class AND sassy! He was even able to step in when hiccups almost got in the way- i.e. said a toast when our MOH and BM forgot at the end of their speeches; and stalled when I had forgotten to actually put my garter on before the toss!
As I had mentioned before, I still have wedding guests talk about how much fun our reception was and wanting to know the name of the DJ! I felt so proud to tell them about Shannon and how amazing he and his company are! You cannot go wrong by hiring Extreme Southern Productions as your DJ/Event Host! It was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding!

Working with Shannon and Extreme Southern Productions was fantastic from start to finish. All aspects of our day went very smooth thanks to Shannon's attention to detail and professionalism. All of our guests could not stop raving about the music selection and the energy ESP created. Shannon delivered more than was expected. We will defiantly hire him again for other events. No one better!
I’ve witnessed ESP DJ many weddings and had the privilege of having them DJ my own. Best DJ around!! They are entertaining, accommodating to the entire wedding party, and control the flow of the day so well. We were so grateful to have them!

The Life of the Party
We heard of Extreme Southern through word of mouth and we were so pleased with the recommendation!
Shannon conducted a very thorough phone consultation (~90 minutes) to really get a feel for who we are as a couple and what vibe we wanted for our wedding day. He came prepared with questions, recommendations, and expertise that allowed us to feel at ease as we were planning this even from states away.
The day of, Shannon and Shawn were amazing. They both offered to get us drinks, food, anything we needed so that we could enjoy our party! They both read the energy of the room and curated a playlist that flowed and allowed all ages to enjoy the dancing. Shannon even came out from behind the booth and taught the guest how to do a participation dance. (Might have been the Wobble)
Lastly, and most surprising (in a good way), we got a package in the mail a few months after our wedding with a thumb drive of photos, videos, and audio that Shannon and Shawn took day of, as well as an envelope of well wishes from our guests for us to open on our year anniversary.
We cannot recommend Extreme Southern enough to people planning an event in Louisville!

The most memorable wedding!
Not only did myself (the bride) and the groom have the best experience, but many of our guests came up to us highly complimenting Shannon and his crew. He made the wedding so memorable and kept the party flowing throughout the night. I don't think anyone could have topped it! Thank you Shannon!!

Epic DJ & Entertainer
Shannon has been the dj and entertainment for numerous weddings that we have attended over the years and when it came time to plan our wedding hands down we knew where to turn. We changed our wedding day to accommodate when he was available which should say everything in itself. He pulls out all the stops and truly knows how to keep your guest engaged the whole time, our guest haven't stopped talking about how great of a wedding it was and a big piece of that was Shannon! He truly cares about what he does and it shows. We have since had a number of our guest reach out to us for his info for their weddings or events. Hands down best around!!

Awesome experience with Extreme Southern Productions. Made our wedding a great time and they were very responsive and there to make sure we had everything that we needed. Amazing Wedding DJ!
We would like to say Amazing job! Shannon and his crew did an amazing job at keeping the flow of the night going and getting the wedding guests involved and keep the flow going. Very involved with making sure everything goes the way it should. Would highly recommend him as a DJ not only to wedding but any event. Amazing!
Extreme southern productions went above and beyond my expectations. They were a HUGE help the day of the wedding, they went right along with every change I made, they were the life of the party (literally). We got married almost a week ago and we are still getting compliments on our “awesome DJ”. Well worth every penny and more to have them apart of your day!

So much energy!
We've been to many weddings and have never seen someone engage a crowd the way Shannon did. He brings so much fuel to the party! He makes it nearly impossible not to have a good time, whether you're an avid dancer or prefer to sit back and watch. Was also great to work with leading up to the event. Met and exceed our expectations!
E.S.P was hands down the best Dj we have ever experienced. Shannon was so on top of things. He truly went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding. It’s hard to describe to someone through text how amazing this Dj is, this team is something you have to experience. Even just talking to Shannon will get you hyped for your event. We truly can’t say enough great things about them. Our wedding went off without a hitch and was a huge hit because of E.S.P! I will always highly recommend them to everyone!

They made our reception all that we had hoped for. Shannon asked us what we wanted and he did exactly that. I even changed the timeline halfway through and made everything seamless. We’ve had numerous guests tell us how awesome he was, they even asked for his card because they loved them so much. I wouldn’t change a thing, highly recommend!!

Best DJ service in Kentucky!
Shannon and ESP came very highly recommended by close friends that had attended weddings he had done in our area. We actually scheduled our wedding date based on his availability and we are so happy we did. Shannon provides a very detailed itinerary prior to the wedding and discusses every detail. He coordinated with our other vendors and wedding party so that everyone was on the same page. He played every song we asked for and was awesome keeping guests dancing and singing along all night. His suggestions were awesome and our guests loved everything! We had a lot of older guests and he catered to both crowds which was so important to us! He stayed late in to the night because guests continued paying for extra time - he is that good!!! His equipment was very impressive including a digital display booth and bright lighting! Cannot say enough good things!

Shannon did an absolute phenomenal job ! He is so understanding and flexible and takes your “wants “ into consideration and makes the whole day what YOU want ! I highly recommend ESP . Don't walk.... run to book ESP!
I wish I could scream on the top of a building for all future brides to hear that hiring Extreme Southern Productions is a must for your big day! They were PHENOMENAL and played a large role in successfully executing our big day.
Shannon met with us prior to the wedding to go over our plans. Shannon took his time with us and got to know us. He helped us finalize some of our plans. This meeting was VERY detailed and most of us brides appreciate all the details. We discussed our music preferences, style for the night, timeline, etc. My wedding coordinator attended the meeting and was impressed at the level of detail Shannon went into during our meeting. This meeting was appreciated because it helped streamline the planning and also provided me with relief.
I received compliments all night and continue to receive compliments on our DJ. Shannon wasn't just behind the booth, he was out on the dance floor. We wanted people to have a good time and Shannon made sure to make that happen. The music was on point with our style. The vibe was on point. ESP was on point!
Shannon & Extreme Southern Productions, we want to personally thank you so much for being part of our big day. We are forever grateful. I will forever be recommending you on those bridal FB pages and cheering on your continued success!
