The #1 compliment we got from our wedding was how great the DJs were. We love a good party and Joe and Mike understood the assignment. A few people from the wedding have since reached out for their contact and they’re now doing the music for a wedding we have coming up this September. We had a few specific requests - a girls’ flash mob dance, Terrible Towel moment and a dedication to the grandparents and they crushed it all. We love EMP! -

Since they had worked with our venue before they made the planning process a breeze. From timeline to venue coordination, they handled it all with the venue. EMP was on a preferred vendor list given to us by our venue. My husband and I knew from the minute that we met with Mike that he was our guy! He was an awesome resource throughout the planning process (i.e., helped schedule our night) and even put together a remix of some select songs for a flashmob. Mike was an awesome emcee and kept the party going all night. Would absolutely book them again! -

If we had to do it all over again, we would choose Extreme Music every time. They made the planning process simple and took care of the timeline with the venue so we didn't have to stress. They had worked with our venue before, so they reached out to the venue to coordinate setup time and the flow of the evening. We really appreciated this; it saved us from additional back-and-forth emailing. We also got a lot of compliments from guests, everyone had a great time. They played most if not all of our song requests. Mike was very professional and kept the guests engaged throughout the night. We had a small party and really appreciated this. If you are still thinking of searching for other DJs, stop your search and go with Extreme Music, you won't regret it! -

We chose Mike and EMP for our wedding and we are extremely happy with our choice! Mike is an absolute pro and he helped simplify our wedding in the best ways. He nailed all of our musical transitions, understood our asks and constantly made us feel like we were in good hands. Above all, my biggest ask of Mike and team was to read the room and make sure the dance floor / overall vibe of our wedding was good and he nailed that. We filled out our must play / do not play lists and EMP basically abided by this as a guideline for most of the wedding. Many guests complimented the music and those compliments were well deserved. I would highly recommend EMP and Mike as you plan you're wedding. It's clear to me that Mike understands what makes a good wedding and I'm confident he will deliver for yours like he did ours. -

From day one, EMPs professionalism, kindness, and customer service were nothing short of exceptional. I submitted an inquiry and received a tailored response within an hour, as well as a personal phone call from Joe. From there, I scheduled a virtual meeting with Mike, and he walked my fiancé and I through everything we needed to know about their packages/process without overcomplicating it. We were so impressed, so we booked! Prior to our wedding day, we provided a very short list of songs that we wanted played at our wedding. From that list, Joe immediately picked up on our vibe and made us feel comfortable and understood. Fast forward to the day of our wedding, the evening flowed flawlessly. Joe was a fantastic MC, and Frankie had every single one of our guests out on the dance floor. All in all, EMP exceeded our expectations. We also received many compliments from our guests on Joe and Frankie's music selection and professionalism. We truly could not have found a better team; HIGHLY recommend! (We selected their base package, without all the added bells and whistles and it was perfect for us). -

Our wedding was absolutely magical and it couldn’t have been that way without Mike, Joey, Miguelito and Frankie! My husband and I wanted to create an evening that celebrated our Italian and Dominican cultures and EMP made it happen. The music flowed seamlessly throughout the night, the dance floor was always full, and our guests can’t stop telling us what a great time they all had! From the minute we first met with Mike, to our finals with Mike and Miguelito, and the warmth from Joey and Frankie on our big night (shout out to Frankie for handling our crazy guests at the photobooth!), everything was absolutely perfect. The DJs you dream of for the perfect wedding!
The crew at EMP was nothing short of amazing! They worked very closely with us leading up to our wedding to put together the song list, entrances, etc. They were so flexible and creative to the point that Mike created a custom walk-in that cut from one song to another for an inside joke with friends and family; what a hit that was, so may laughs! That alone showed the extra mile they would go, but they also showed it day of. There was a small error in the order of operations for walk-ins that our venue didn't catch beforehand, but Mike immediately realized their error and made sure the rest of the event was to what we originally planned. From there, the rest of the night was perfect (thanks to Mike!). Mike was an absolutely amazing Emcee, the DJ played all the hits plus more, and the extra Sax piece was a hit with every single person we spoke to afterwards. Thank you EMP for making the night memorable! -

Our wedding was an absolute blast.
As a wedding, DJ myself, I have had the absolute pleasure of being able to work and get to become great friends with Mike, Joey and Frankie from Extreme Music Productions. When it was time for my wife and I to choose entertainment for our wedding, there was no question to who we were looking for. Their professionalism, coordination, communication, and provision of service with their online portal made everything extremely simple and seamless from the day we booked to the end of the reception. These guys are professionals you can 1000% put your trust in.
Our wedding was March 22, 2024. We booked EMP for ceremony services, cocktail hour music, and had photobooth for our reception as well. The ceremony went off beautifully and without a hitch, and the addition of music during cocktail hour set a perfect vibe to prepare our guests for the reception. Mike is such a personable, fun MC, and Joey and Frankie were absolutely sensational behind the DJ booth. Our guests loved the photobooth and were running back and forth from the dance floor to take pics throughout the evening. The music choices were outstanding and I was on the dance floor all night with my wife and all of our family and friends. The presentation of the DJ setup was absolutely stunning.
The professionalism and coordination of services between EMP, our venue staff, and the photography and videography crew was as seamless as can be. These guys are great to work with and they’ll always ensure that their brides and grooms never have to stress or worry about a thing.
As a musician and DJ, I had the opportunity to hookup my guitar to their mixing board to create a rock show at my wedding, and the sound and light show went absolutely nuts. My wife and I also had a bride/groom mini DJ mix behind the booth and basically turned our wedding into a house club for a few minutes after the rock show.
If you’re looking for event entertainment, it’s no question again that EMP is a lock of a choice. I’m writing this review 6 months after our wedding, and our friends and family are STILL raving about how much they loved the music and production at our wedding. That’s something to write home about.
All in all, we could not be more grateful to have had these gentlemen provide entertainment for our wedding, and in doing so they helped make it the absolute best day of our lives. Mike, Joey, and Frankie - from the bottom of our hearts - thank you guys so, so much for being apart of our special day and giving us the absolute time of our lives. We could not be more appreciative to have you guys in our lives. You truly made the best day of our lives that much better by creating the perfect vibe and an incredible party. We love you guys!!!

We went to 9 weddings in 2022 and we had the most unbelievable time at two specific weddings, both of which Extreme Music Productions was the DJ for. Several months prior to the wedding, our original venue unexpectedly canceled. Amid the stress of finding a new venue and changing the date, Mike and Joe demonstrated remarkable flexibility and support, ensuring a smooth transition. The online portal for creating the timeline and playlist proved to be a delightful and efficient tool, with the 'do not play' section adding a touch of humor.
In the week leading up to the wedding, Mike conducted a thorough review, putting my mind at ease amidst the pre-wedding jitters. On the actual day, despite persistent rainfall, Mike remained composed. Half an hour before the ceremony, miraculously, the rain ceased. When I expressed the desire to move the event outdoors, Mike accommodated the request without hesitation. I had to beg almost every other vendor but not Mike, he's like Hell yeah lets do this thing! That is literally the only thing I wanted to hear as a bride.
Throughout the night, Mike exhibited professionalism in handling unexpected situations, including the playful antics of my exuberant bridesmaids. We opted to include the electric violin, drums, and saxophone, resulting in an electrifying atmosphere that had everyone on the dance floor.
I extend my deepest gratitude to Mike and Joe for their unwavering dedication, adaptability, and for contributing to the success of our wedding day, rain notwithstanding. Look no further. Extreme Music Productions is THE company you NEED for your wedding. We dealt with Mike for our wedding at Naninas in The Park. All I can say is that it was perfect. I have not one complaint whatsoever and HIGHLY recommend this company. Our wedding went perfect and everyone loved the music, the lights, the smoke gun (an absolute must) a huge highlight of my night was getting up on a speaker and blowing smoke into the crowd) we also had the sparklers shooting up and it just was perfect. He’s more then a DJ/MC, super personable, never says no, makes anything happen, and even surprised us with a sick reel on Instagram. I can’t speaker higher of this company, like I said LOOK NO FURTHER AND BOOK THEM FOR YOUR WEDDING…. Or any event. -

Couldn’t have asked for a better wedding DJ!
Mike and his team were amazing from the start. EMP knew how to set the vibe, they are experts in reading the room and creating an exciting energy that gets everyone up and dancing. We got the full package: from DJ booth (the guests had a lot of fun with this) to dance floor sparklers and “Dancing on a cloud” (which made our first dance look magical). Their team went above and beyond, making last minute music requests happen during the event.
Without a doubt, I would highly recommend EMP to anyone hosting ANY event. I will definitely be using the, in the future.

Best Entertainment
Best DJ band hands down on the East Coast ! Had my friends and family partying all night long! Mike our host was fantastic and answered all of questions in the process. Frank our DJ killed it, hit after hit song! The instrumentalists Jonathon (sax) and Alex (violin) put the cherry on top! If you're looking for an amazing DJ for your wedding, look no further than Extreme Music Productions. Mike, the DJ, was phenomenal from start to finish. He was with us every step of the way, providing guidance and support that made us feel so comfortable and at ease during the stressful planning process.
Mike not only helped us create the perfect wedding playlist but also made a fantastic suggestion for a saxophone player named Gabi Rose (https://gabirosemusic.com/), who blew us away with her amazing skills. The pacing of the wedding was just right, and Mike's experience and talent as a high-level performer kept the energy level up all night long.

I cannot even begin to explain how incredible working with the entire team was. From the first moment of meeting with Mike to learn how to use the website, down to the last moment of the wedding, the entire staff of Extreme Music was incredible. They were in charge of ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and the entire night that followed (until 1 am) and were so attentive to me, my husband, and all of our guests! More than two months after my wedding, as I am finally able to sit down to do this, everyone, I mean everyone, cannot stop talking about how magical the night was. When listing song requests on their very easy to use portal, I learned it is not even needed! The musical selection and overall energy does not compare. As soon as the dance floor opened, the entire guest list was dancing and did not stop until the night was over. Mike and Joey made sure every second was memorable. From the start of our wedding planning journey Mike was quick to respond, open to hop on a call & answer any and all of our questions. When picking a package, Mike worked with us (and our budget) to make sure we were happy and confident in our decisions. Mike has a way about him where you know he’ll take care of you and take the most important elements of your wedding and bring them to life. Additionally, one of the highlights of the pandemic was that Mike & his team created a brand new online portal complete with a ceremony document, reception document and timeline of the day. We worked with Mike (in excruciating detail- THANK YOU AGAIN MIKE!) to make sure every element of the night (from the ceremony to the music introductions to the transition – and even special dances we had arranged) were mapped out to a T so there would be no surprises. Mike, Joey & Frank over delivered on ALL of our expectations and our guests have not stopped RAVING about the night. Lastly, on our actual wedding day (amongst all the chaos caused by the venue staff) Mike and his team stepped in and put a sense of ease onto the day. EMP kept the venue staff organized and timely and gave us the peace of mind that everything was taken care of which allowed us to truly enjoy the day. We are forever grateful for their professionalism & care in easing our wedding day stress!
Also- because this needs it’s own highlight reel- We decided to go with a Saxophone add on & let me tell you – EVERYONE—needs a Jonathan at their wedding. The energy, life & exuberance Jonathan added to the dance floor was unparalleled. It completely transformed the entire vibe of the wedding as he played while I walked down the aisle, during dinner AND the entire reception where he was the star of the night on the dance floor. He was unobtrusive but a perfect addition to get our guests really riled up and an essential element of our big day. The entire EMP team showed professionalism, incredible level of skill & kept our dance floor BOUNCING from start to finish. I can't recommend them enough!

We are so lucky to have found Mike during the crazy Covid-postponement wedding era. He was so laid back, flexible, but so professional and knowledgeable. He was not pushy on upselling packages and emphasized that he wanted us to have the right experience for our day. My husband and I were married on Long Island and Mike made no complaints about travel and was early to set up. Our introductions, specified dances, and reception all went perfectly. 10/10 recommend Extreme Music Production. -

When my husband and I got engaged, we both agreed that two of the most important aspects of our wedding would be the food and the music. So fortunately for us, we went with Extreme Music Productions, because we are still receiving compliments about what a fun atmosphere was built because of the music played.
From day one, Mike Allan was a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable about the ins and outs of planning all aspects of a wedding, offered his expertise not only when it came to music but to anything else that cropped up as we planned our day, and was so kind and accomodating when we needed to push our wedding back due to COVID-19.
Each conversation we had in the months and days leading up to the big day was a delight. Extreme Music Productions' client portal is very easy to use, and my husband and I actually had a great time using the section in which you can put your song requests.
When the day finally arrived, Anthony, our DJ, was fun, high-energy and got the crowd up and dancing, but also so cognisant of letting the night roll on in an organic way. We had quite a few song requests we put in ahead of time that were not from a mainstream list (our family's from Ireland), and it was clear Anthony came prepared. Not only were the songs we requested played at perfect moments, but they were interspersed with American pop and dance tunes that guests who aren't familiar with Irish music would recognize, ensuring everyone came together to dance throughout the entire night, and not just during sections of sets.
Our wedding will go down as one of the best nights we've ever had, and that's in no small part thanks to Anthony, Mike and Extreme Music Productions. I cannot wait until we can work together again, and I cannot recommend enough booking them for your next event. You'll be so happy you do!

You get SO MUCH MORE than a DJ and music when you choose to partner with Mike and Joe. They take your wedding wrap it up in the bow you want and present your best day ever to your guests. I know this because they have done it for two of my cousins and again for me.
Music is super important to us so what could’ve been a major stressor was a breeze thanks to their professionalism, care and the cool client portal on their website.
During the wedding and at the gathering after every conversation ended with a tribute to Extreme music productions. Mike put the topper on the cake literally!!!!! We love you. Thank you

From the moment we met Mike and Joe at a bridal show, EMP has been an absolute pleasure to work with. They have been so extremely attentive and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. People at our wedding have complimented us constantly on what a great MC and DJ we had. They totally read the crowd and played the right music and played every single one of our requests. Extreme Music Productions was the best entertainment group we could have worked with for our wedding! Although we connect with EMP before COVID, Mike and Joe worked with us for the last year and a half to ensure Nicky and I would have the best night possible. After a date change by 5 months, luckily they were still available and helped us think through how the night would go and what would be the best songs for us to play to get the party moving!! Mike & Joe were very communicative in the planning process and were always willing to help. Utilizing EMP for the music, percussions and the photo-booth was a 3 in 1 deal we couldn't have gotten anywhere else. Thank you guys for an amazing night!! Still dreaming about it :) -

When we had to postpone our 2020 wedding, we were really nervous if we would ever get the wedding we orginally hoped for. But Mike eased our concerns throughout a year and half of uncertainy and made our wedding dreams a reality. Not only did Mike and Frank do an increible job on our cermony music, they brought the party to the reception. From the first song, they found a way to get our guests up and dancing and having a blast. So many of guests raved about the music and how much fun they had dancing the night away. And the photobooth was a big hit throughout the wedding! Seriously hiring EMP for our wedding was the best decision we made during our planning. Thank you so much for an amazing wedding!!! -

Doesn’t get any better!
Mike and Frankie were a dream team! Great MC and music. Set the tone for an epic night of none stop dancing. They did exactly what we wanted and were such gentlemen. They were so accommodating and down to earth. Mike was always available to help in any way and was super responsive. The drummer Vinny and the photo booth were such awesome additions that everyone really enjoyed. They helped to make our wedding dreams come true. Amazing ability to navigate unique outdoor wedding adventure!
When we first met Mike and Joe, we knew we'd be in great hands as we prepared for a unique lakeside wedding retreat. Little did we know, they would insist on taking time out of their busy schedules to actually visit the site with us -- even though it was an hour out of the way -- as they walked us through every moment and prepared for every possibility on the day of our wedding. Sure enough, a rain storm rolled in, forcing our guests inside before we had planned and there was Mike, ready to start the festivities despite inclement weather. Joey did just as he promised: he kept everyone up on the dance floor the entire time!!!
We most strongly recommend Extreme Music Productions based on their willingness to go the extra mile and enthusiasm for us as a couple and all of our guests in attendance. But perhaps even more importantly, they are simply the nicest guys you could ever hope to work when planning for the biggest day of your life. -

Beyond Perfect
Mike was a personal referral to me and I am so glad I waited to find him! He takes this work very seriously but with an attitude of ease and fun. He made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process - and blew the roof off of our wedding! He listened to my requests, and when it was time to party he just got it right. My wedding crowd would have been happy and dancing all night with any DJ, but with Mike and his team, it was more fun beyond what anyone had experienced in a really long time. -

I don't even know where to begin. From navigating COVID restrictions, to helping with the Zoom production of our ceremony, to the photo booth, the DJ, the emcee, the live saxophonist and percussionist... we loved them, our guests loved them. Heck, the venue loved them! Their experience shows: Mike and his team cover every detail you could possibly think of. And they exceeded our expectations. Without their preparation, organization and execution, we couldn't have had the type of celebration we wanted. And because of that execution, we had an incredible night. Our June Wedding
We first spoke to Mike at EMP during Covid and we appreciated his professionalism and flexibility. As it turned out, Covid didn't impact our wedding day but Mike was able to adjust and deliver anyway. He ran the program great, and when it came to music choice he hit the nail on the head. We didn't have to spend too much discussing songs, we told him a type of music and he make it all come together at the wedding day!
His client portal/website was very easy to use and helped us set the program the right way from the beginning and having a big, blended family our program was as difficult as it comes, but Mike didn't skip a beat.
It was great working with Mike, Joey and EMP and would definitely recommend to a friend or family to trust them with your wedding.
We also hired a sax player to play along with the music, and we want to make a shout-out to Jonathan, without him the wedding would not have been the same! Jonathan was a great recommendation by EMP! -

Beyond what I could have ever imagined!
Extreme Music Productions is the best out there!
Mike is the most amazing MC I could have ever asked for to be at my wedding. He just knows exactly what you want and knows what to say, gets to guests up dancing and having a great time! Joey amazing music and kept my guests wanting to dance ALL NIGHT, nobody wanted to leave! And Frankie was so kind and amazing with the photo booth. This team is overall the best ever, and you couldn’t go wrong with hiring them. From the moment I met Mike & Joey at a wedding expo, we clicked, and I knew I wanted them at my wedding. I wish I could get married again to relive it. I had a hedge wall with a neon sign, Mike put my dream to life and it came out beautiful. Honestly, I am so pleased with these guys, I could go on and on with so many positive things to say :) -

I have no idea where to start! Joe and Mike are THE BEST in the 914! They made our day so special from the ceremony music, to the cocktail hour music and of course dancing the night away!
We started planing our wedding in 2019 with hopes to celebrate in May 2020 but because of the pandemic we postponed it to April 24, 2021. It was the biggest blessing in disguise because it gave us more time to plan and save up. Mike and Joe are quick to respond with any questions and requests we had. They are so professional to work with and tons of fun! They listened to our request of music and they transitioned each song so wonderfully. Everyone had a blast! My husband doesn’t dance and even he was on the dance floor! I highly recommend Joe and Mike for weddings!! -

I have used Mike for many parties over the years, but he and his team at Extreme Music Productions went far beyond anything we could have imagined for our wedding! Mike took the time to scope out more than one space with us (as we had to change our venue due to covid) and made sure he and his team were prepared for every possible issue that could arise on the day of (rain, power outages, etc). Mike also helped us with our timeline for the day, ensuring we had a nice flow and enough time allotted for cocktail hour, speeches, first dances dinner and more dancing!
The whole team was very flexible. They arrived early to set up the photo booth, ceremony and reception and left late without question when no one would get off the dance floor. They took every safety precaution they could from wearing masks, utilizing hand sanitizer and even changing microphone covers between speeches, among many more. The night could not have been more perfect and that was largely due to the whole EMP team! -

Joe and Mike went above and beyond for us. They edited our first dance song, accommodated our requests even as late as the night before our wedding, and Joe played great music that perfectly matched the overall vibe we were going for. Ling and I used Extreme Music Productions for our Wedding Celebration and we could not have been more pleased! Joe arrived early to provide music for our vow renewal which made it very personal and special. All of our music requests for the party were fulfilled, from adding certain styles and songs to the mix, to even creating a set of Chinese disco music from scratch. Joe was an excellent MC, from the introductions, to all the special moments and especially keeping the dance floor hopping. He also arranged for a photo booth, which was enjoyed by all. We highly recommend Extreme Music Productions for any event!
