Awesome to work with and great at mixing songs!

We learned of Extreme DJs & Lighting by asking for references on our communities' Facebook page, and Buster Bracken was most highly recommended. Our daughter and her spouse met on their University's Swing Dance team, so they had very specific requests for the type of music to be played for their invited guests and former teammates to dance to. My husband and I are ballroom dancers, so we had certain music requests and of course we wanted to also accommodate the younger crowd and our families. Buster did a great job of mixing all these songs and the dance floor was packed all night. We received several complements from our guests regarding the music that was selected. Buster was well organized which definitely helps to instill confidence and reduce stress on our end. He also handled the music for the wedding ceremony itself which was most convenient. (Approximately 6½ hours total). Our daughter and her husband were very happy with the service provided by Extreme DJs & Lighting and highly recommend them.

Wedding Reception DJ Services

My husband and I picked Extreme DJs and Lighting for our wedding reception this past July and had a great experience working with them! Buster was very responsive to our questions and very helpful in the planning process. He helped us plan out the reception timeline and he was able to provide pictures and videos of similar venues to ours. We purchased uplighting for our venue in addition to the DJ services and am so glad we did! The extra lighting helped light up the room once it started get dark and made the atmosphere fun! Andrew was our DJ for our reception and he did an amazing job keeping our guests on the dance floor! He played a majority of the songs we had put on our list of songs we wanted to hear. Overall, a great team to work with and made our big day go smooth! I would recommend booking them for your wedding!

Best DJ and gorgeous lighting!!!

Buster is the best! He is so organized and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ and lighting! He will make your wedding amazing!

Buster at Extreme DJs & Lighting was super great to work with! He was well prepared, organized, and the entire day (ceremony + reception) timeline went perfectly! If I had any questions or concerns before the day, he was always quick to respond and helpful. And our guests were on the dance floor all night with his playlist! Highly recommend!

Stress free and meticulous

Extreme DJs & Lighting was an amazing vendor to work with! Prior to the wedding Buster helped plan our timeline for the wedding day and offered countless insights to what would best serve our wedding guests. He actually recommended us move our wedding back half an hour to cut out unnecessary time between the wedding and reception. Buster came to set up his equipment the day before while my family and I were decorating the reception hall. He offered helpful advice such as counting the chairs at each table after we were done decorating to prevent issues during the reception. No one at the venue hall recommended that. We found tables with less chairs than they were suppose to have which saved confusion for our guests. Buster allows you to make a playlist prior to the wedding for the music you’d like playing during the reception. I spent a lot of time working on that because I knew my guest like to dance. Buster took my playlist recommendations and blew me away! There were people on the dance floor the entire reception! Countless guests have mentioned to me how amazing our DJ was. I used the lighting service Buster provides but didn’t want the lights to be too flashy as I didn’t want it to bother my guests. Buster did a great job of working the lights to fit the music but not be too flashy. The lights added such fun addition! I cannot recommend Extreme DJs and Lighting enough!

We could not be happier with our experience working with Buster at Extreme DJs & Lighting!! He goes above and beyond to ensure his weddings are perfect. From planning the evening's timeline, to developing the venue floor plan and of course lighting and music, Buster has a wealth of knowledge from his experience. Our wedding was perfect! The dance floor was never empty and my family and friends are still talking about how much fun they had! 10/10 recommend.

Amazing DJ who can adjust to the room and get the dance floor full and hyped

Extreme DJs was amazing to work with! Buster not only killed it at the DJ booth but also helped us with a lot of preperation ideas and timing. He made the night go seemlessly especially when reading the dance floor for the music. He adjusted based on the mood and also went extra time to finish the night off!

Awesome experience!

We were so lucky to get to work with Extreme DJs & Lighting for our wedding reception. Buster was extremely knowledgeable and responsive every step of the way. He shared his experience of what works and what doesn’t as we were first constructing the event schedule (also, putting this schedule together was hugely helpful) - it was so helpful to have an “expert opinion” on our decisions. We were able to meet in person to see examples of spot lighting, as well as pictures from many, many examples of reception lighting they’d done. The website’s customer portal was well organized, and kept us organized! We were able to choose songs we’d like played, as well as a do-not-play list. The actual wedding reception was amazing - the room was beautiful (we went with spot lighting along with the more “standard” up lighting and loved how it made each table look!), the music was the perfect volume both during dinner and during the reception, and Buster was a polished, faultless emcee as well as DJ. Once the dancing started, the dance floor was full for the entire night! Our reception was amazing, and so much credit goes to Buster. If you have the opportunity to work with him, I would definitely recommend it!

Very pleased with the service!

Buster did an awesome job DJing our wedding. He helped with keeping the party going and is great at reading the crowd. He also created a personalized lighted dance floor for us with cafe lights. We used extreme DJ for our daughters wedding 10 years ago. They did such a good job, when my son got engaged we didn't even have to think about it. Buster did an amazing job! Best DJ in the area.

Fantastic Experience

We had an awesome experience with Extreme DJ's and Lighting

Buster was so helpful to us throughout the whole process of planning our wedding and I am talking beyond just the music aspect. He has a ton of experience and was so knowledgeable at helping us to talk through timeline, room set up, and flow of the evening. Buster completely delivered the night of the wedding and everyone including myself had a blast dancing all night long (Literally)! I also recommend utilizing him for up lighting as well, that turned the party up a notch at the end of the night but was also beautiful in our room earlier in the evening. I HIGHLY recommend using Extreme DJ's and Lighting. They are reliable, responsive, and GOOD at what they do!

Amazing, detail-oriented, problem solver, friendly, accomodating.

Buster made our wedding go very smoothly and put us at ease on our whole day. He knows all your details, can help you put your timeline together and keep you on time! He met with all the vendors and filled any gap's as far as a wedding planner goes. He has a ton of great ideas, is tech-savvy and we are so happy we chose him for our DJ.

Easy Process and Great Advice

Buster and his company were fantastic to work with for our wedding day. He helped us go through the timeline of the wedding day and offered advice on a number of things that I didn't expect from a DJ. He has a great system in place that makes the process easy and keeps him informed about anything music related he needs to know. He also wasn't pushy about selling us any upgrades, but did show us the up-lighting option and all I can say is DO IT!! The up-lighting took the reception/dancing to another level!

Experienced DJ who creates a seamless and fun reception!

Working with Buster and Extreme DJ and Lighting for our wedding was an amazing experience. We really wanted to avoid a lot of cheesy reception traditions and to prioritize our guests’ experience at the reception and Buster helped us think through what the day would look like for them. We had multiple calls prior to the wedding to talk through logistics- these calls answered all of my questions and helped us align on the atmosphere we wanted to create. Buster was very responsive to when I reached out, proactively provided information, and helped us keep track of deadlines. Additionally, Buster had a lot of knowledge about our venue and was able to provide perspective and experience about the best use of the space. Amazing Night!

Out of the other DJ companies that we've reviewed prior to our wedding, Extreme DJs & Lighting was by far the best pick! Buster helped us not stress so much over the music/reception hosting by meeting with us in person, explaining the plans and everything else in great detail. During the wedding reception, Emily (the DJ) was AMAZING! Not only was she very professional towards all of our guests/family, she also ensured that our night ran very smoothly. Amazing DJ Experience from Planning to the actual Wedding Day!

Could not be more happier with the DJ experience that Buster and Extreme DJ's and Lighting provided for our wedding! What Buster does to coordinate your timeline so that the actual wedding day flows seamlessly was exactly what we were looking for. The best part of planning was when we were in agreement that the Chicken Dance or Cha Cha Slide was 100% DO NOT PLAY for our wedding before we even booked him. Then when it came to the day of Buster did an amazing job using songs from our preferred play list but also hits that kept the dance floor moving. We knew our wedding party was a fun group but the DJ played a major part in keeping the dance floor going strong until 11PM on a Sunday and then even did an encore song right at 11! Book Extreme DJ's and lighting and you will not be disappointed. We were so happy with their assistance!

Buster was great to work with. He's flexible, which was great considering we lived over an hour away from our wedding venue. He did amazing work with the uplighting, dance floor lighting, custom monogram, and DJ services. No regrets.

Great music and experience

We are “seniors”. Our group included friends, adult children and some younger grandchildren. Our DJ played music that appealed to all. We had a great time. Buster was easy to work with in the planning and the online forms easy to work with. We highly recommend them!

Highly Recommend

ExtremeDJs and Lighting did the lighting for my daughter's wedding. They were excellent - very responsive, flexible, accommodating and professional. The facility needed our lighting removed the night of the wedding to make ready for another wedding the next day. Buster was there at midnight to take down the lighting with a pleasant can do attitude. Also of note their lighting is on dimmers which is a detail we might not have thought of but was very useful in changing the lighting to match the different events of the evening. Buster was delightful to work with - and his work "lit" up the room. I would highly recommend Extreme DJs and Lighting!

Great experience working with Buster!

We highly recommend Buster with Extreme DJs & Lighting! Buster was not our original DJ service we had booked, but it honestly could not have worked out better! So here's how it all went down for us! Our first DJ we booked a year and a half in advance and he had a family event came up so we offered for us to find someone else with being so early. The next DJ that we booked did not have the equipment for the outdoor Barn venue we had booked. Then, Clint with Party on Productions, gave us his word and we offered to do an electronic signature and same-day payment to secure our spot. He reassured us he would mail it to us and there would not be any issues, then booked somebody else in the meantime of us even getting it in the mail.. Even after we offered to pay in full up front and sign through email. My point in sharing this with you so you understand how it all worked out! Buster from the beginning was true to his word! He is honest and easy to work with and has everything needed to do any venue. He even did a timeline and help make the wedding process of planning smoothly, which is what our photographer promised us, and did not deliver! Our wedding was outside and reception inside an old barn with no air on 9-15-18 and was 90+ degrees! Somehow he managed to get people up and dancing ALL night! He did an amazing job, and recommend him to all our friends! Cannot thank him enough for the amazing work that he did!!

Phenomenal! Super flexible!

Buster was great to work with and SUPER flexible - the week before my wedding my siblings surprised me and told me they were doing special music for my wedding. That's all fine and dandy, but it was in my back yard 500+ feet away from the nearest outdoor outlet and it required getting 3 more mics, a completely different sound system than what we had planned on, and an electric piano out across our creek and set up. He literally found everything we needed and set it up HIMSELF in 95 degree weather and personally did the sound for our wedding. He also did the reception and did an amazing job. Everyone had a ton of fun and he was a phenomenal DJ.

I am so glad we picked Extreme DJ and Lighting for our wedding!! Buster is incredibly organized and promptly responds to emails which is obviously much appreciated during the planning process. Our dance floor was full from the minute dancing started until the end! Our guests had the BEST time and many of them told us our wedding was one of the most fun weddings they'd ever been to (if not the most). They did a great job with not only our music but did such a beautiful job displaying our lighting. We are SO glad we hired Extreme DJs for our wedding! Buster was awesome to work with, both in the planning stages and on the actual wedding day! He is so organized and knowledgeable, and he actually helped us make our wedding reception timeline, as well as gave us great advice on our lighting and other layout suggestions for our venue. We were SO happy with the beautiful cafe lighting he did, as well as the uplighting which really helped set the party mood! Our wedding ran smoothly and on time, and Buster was able to quickly adapt and keep the party going even when another vendor had a small technical difficulty. People were dancing all night, and we got so many compliments on what a great party it was! So glad we got to work with Buster—we cannot recommend him highly enough!!

Extreme DJs & Lighting did everything they promised to make my son's wedding absolutely perfect. They set up the backdrop for the dance floor and the lighting was perfect. Their dj and music was fantastic and they even did the sound for the wedding. Thank you for your excellent service.

My wife and I got married on August 4, 2017 at Hornbakers and we chose Extreme DJs & Lighting. Buster was really easy to work with and he always responded to emails and always answered phone calls. Picking out the DJ was one of the hardest decisions to make because there are so many options out there; however I am very happy that we went with Buster and Extreme DJs.

Buster has a lot of experience which was helpful because he made sure the dance floor was always full. I’ve been to other weddings before where no one was dancing which was a concern we initially had, however Buster was able to get a vibe and gauge what everyone liked and kept the dance floor packed. Honestly, there were more people dancing than sitting at their tables.

Also, Buster added the most elegant rope lighting which worked beautifully at the venue. Buster was able to adjust the uplighting perfectly during dinner to allow for just enough dim lighting while still allowing the rope lights and the venues individual beauty speak for itself. Once dinner was over and the dancing started, the uplighting was awesome and made for a fun party.

Buster made planning the wedding very easy and I cannot express how happy we are with him. Buster is a perfect 5 stars!

I used Extreme DJ's and Lighting for my wedding in November. I worked with Buster. He was easy to get ahold of, and flexible to work with. He was the best cost-wise for our short wedding and reception (4 hours total). I was given a website and password to use to enter in my requested songs for ceremony, reception, and just general requests. I loved this feature because I could take my time and think about what I wanted. I recommend them!

My husband and I were thrilled with having Buster and Extreme DJs and Lighting for our wedding. We could be any happier with the experience that Buster and Extreme DJs provided for our wedding reception. He had a lot of advice up front and it's a good thing we listened. It's like getting an experienced wedding coordinator for free. His music selection kept the dance floor packed the entire night. We even extended his service another hour since things were going so well. He kept things going with music and without having to MC the night. The pulsing light towers on the dance floor were also well worth the added cost. The quality of your DJ really can make or break your reception, and Buster made our night a huge success. We cannot thank him enough.

Buster, the owner of Extreme DJs and Lighting, made our reception amazing at Kickapoo Creek Winery. We had some good looking tables, but the lighting made a huge difference. Buster was also a great DJ in that he could read the crowd to decide what to play next. Most of all, Buster went way over and beyond. He basically became our wedding planner. He helped figure out our schedule, and consistently gave advice on things we were lost on so our wedding day would be flawless. Buster also showed up a day before to set things up because he's a perfectionist, which there's nothing wrong with that at all!

Buster was fantastic to work with. From the early stages through to the wedding, he kept us on track and really helped with the timeline and flow of the reception. He put our nerves at ease and took the stress off of us by keeping everything rolling during the reception - from introductions, to cake cutting, to first dances, etc. I never felt like it was up to me to make sure everything was on track. Buster was so great to work with for our wedding! When we met with him he helped create the timeline of events and advised us on things we should and shouldn't do from his experience with groups the size of our's to keep everything moving smoothly. He did an excellent job setting up the sound system for our outdoor ceremony along with DJing all night. There was never a moment when the dance floor wasn't full! When we first met with Buster we didn't think we wanted to use his lighting service for uplighting, but after discussing with him and seeing a few videos he had of his lighting services, we decided to go with this and we are so glad we did! The uplighting really took the party to the next level! If you're looking for someone who can really read the crowd and who will keep people on the dance floor all night long, Buster is your guy!

Everyone at Extreme DJs was fantastic for our Wedding Reception. Quality service was given to us throughout the entire wedding planning process. Buster helped get us setup and planned out every detail perfectly. He really made us feel confident in our decision of choosing Extreme DJs with how much detail attention he gave the entire wedding day. It says a lot about a company when you have someone giving you suggestions about what you should do at the Church to relieve some stress even when that had nothing to do with the future services they would provide. Come the night of, our DJ was Brian. He made the entire event run so smooth. We never had an empty dance floor. Brian was very responsive when we had requests come up, and kept the party alive to the very end. We could not have been happier about this choice!

Having done events all over the world, but finding Buster here for our Wedding celebration was a dream. He complimented our wishes while providing good ideas upfront to make them even more. From the first time we worked with Buster for our wedding, we knew he was the DJ for the job. He is extremely organized and detailed oriented and helped us plan every single detail! For example, our wedding was Dec 7th and we wanted a lot of white lights with christmas greens and candles... We also wanted up lighting and he was able to talk with me about warm vs cool lights which was so helpful as we had already bought LED lights which give off a blue tint (not what we wanted at all). He was a big factor in deciding what lights to bring. He also did an amazing job with our reception. The up lighting was amazing and he kept the dance floor packed all night long! I would 100% recommend Buster and Extreme DJs and lighting!

Hiring Extreme DJs & lighting was the best decision My husband and I made (aside from deciding to get married)! They were AWESOME! Our wedding was in the Quad Cities, which is two hours away from Peoria, and Buster actually came to the quad cities numerous times to check out our venue to visualize what he could do with the space and talk to the venue cordinators. Every single one of my other vendors that met him commented on how amazing he was! We knew after meeting with him that we were in good hands. He helped us set up a timeline for the wedding and actually provided us center pieces for some of our tables that were incredable! He provided the up lighting for the venue as well as pillars that had lights in them surrounding our dance floor that changed colors. Our reception room was the most beautiful room I have ever seen from ANY wedding! We were receiving text messages and phone calls from guests before we even got to the venue about how beautiful it was....and it truly was. Our guests are still talking about it!!! We have extreme DJs and lighting to thank for it. Also, BJ was our DJ and she was so awesome! She played such great music and was so great to work with. She was very layed back and kept me calm when my photographer was stressing me out! She also did a great job dealing with people constantly coming up to her requesting songs and putting up with kids acting crazy on the dance floor all night. These guys are so wonderful and there isn't a single dj or lighting service out there that are even in the same category! Thank you guys sooo much! You turned our vision into something better!

When I first met Buster Bracken, I was very impressed due to the amount of time he spent with us explaining a lot of helpful hints/tips/ideas regarding not only the music/lighting of the reception but also the flow of the event, timing, things I hadn't thought about, etc. He never came off pushy in that he was trying to "sell" something but very knowledgeable on what works best with a certain venue, a certain sized wedding party, etc. His knowledge and expertise were invaluable to me as I planned my wedding reception. His kind personality and professionalism were very apparent when balancing the requests of the client (us) vs. offering his advice/guidelines for what he knew to be best. Although there are people you can't control at the wedding and/or reception (last minute song requests, timing changes, impromtu surprises, etc.); Buster kept his professionalism and dealt with any unexpected changes with grace and charm. We LOVED working with Extreme DJs and Lighting for our wedding.

The uplighting was exactly what we wanted, and made such a difference in the room. Buster was great about getting the color just right, and making sure it looked perfect throughout the night. One thing I'm really happy Buster suggested was spotlighting the tables. It made the centerpieces really pop and looked especially great once it got darker out. I wasn't sure that spotlighting would make that much of a difference, but it REALLY did! We also had "carnival" lights strung on an outside area, and they looked awesome. I was really happy with the entire lighting setup. Buster definitely knows how to use lighting to enhance a wedding.

The DJ-ing was phenomenal. Buster knew just what songs to play to keep the party going all night. There was never a lull in the dancing - people of all ages (little kids to my 85 year old grandpa) were out dancing and loving the music. I saw people on the dance floor that I've never seen dance before! It was so great, and I know it's because of the DJ. Dinner music was excellent, too.

I've been to several weddings that were done by Extreme DJs and Lighting, and they were all fantastic - Buster and his team are very consistent, and do a wonderful job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other engaged couples!

I am so happy I chose Extreme DJs and Lighting for my DJ needs. Buster is awesome to work with. He is quite the talker, which is good because you really get to know each other. After talking to Buster one time I knew his company was right for me and my husband! He set up several planners online for me to manage everything prior to the wedding. After everything was submitted, he called to verify everything! Communication is really great. He sometimes would take a couple days to get back to me, but during wedding season it is expected that a DJ company is going to be busy Thursday through Sunday! BJ was our actual DJ and she did an amazing job! She did music for both our ceremony and reception! It was perfect! I would highly recommend Extreme DJ's and Lighting.

Buster did a great job on our wedding! He was responsive when we were working out details and open to changing things as the date got closer. One of my biggest worries about our wedding was that people wouldn't dance...but with the music he played, we had people on the dance floor the whole night! He was perfect for MC, kept things flowing through the dinner, speeches, etc. Overall I would recommend him to a friend!

Buster was so accomodating, and was very creative. My wedding would not have been the same without his ideas and management. Even though I was one of his first clients under his lighting business, he was fabulous. I can't even imagine what he will be like when he gets a few more weddings under his belt. The value for his services is a true steal. He had great ideas, and executed them flawlessly. When I had ideas of my own, he ran with it and made them better. He worked great with other vendors, and was professional and friendly at all times. As a DJ, Buster did exactly what I wanted, and he has a fantastic website for managing all music and the timing of the reception. I am positive that without Buster, my reception would not have flowed as smoothly as it did, it was truly perfect. Thank you, Buster, for all your hard work!!

Buster did a great job of keeping everything on track at our daughter's reception! His music selection was great and the dance floor was busy most of the night! Best Choice!

Buster and his team made my wedding the best night! All of the music that I chose was played and it was played in a great order that kept the night flowing and had everybody excited to be on the Dance Floor! I love to dance, so Buster made it hard for me to get off the dance floor with all the great music he kept playing. Highly recommend!

BJ was our DJ from here and she was wonderful. We had several compliments and comments about how great the music was and how smooth the flow was. We had some finicky decisions on several songs and I think were changing choices up to the week before and they had no problem with it. My dad also decided to play a song on his saxophone at the reception at the last minute and she had no problem accommodating it. They have an online form that you can see all your choices and the scheduling of it all and it was very convenient. Would go with them again.

We used Extreme DJs and lighting for our October wedding at Packard Plaza in Peoria. We worked with Buster, who was very easy to work with and helped us organize our timeline for our reception. The music was GREAT and he kept the dance floor hopping all night long. Not only was the music great, but the lighting they provided really enhanced the ambience for our reception. Reception music can make or break a wedding reception and Extreme DJs and Lighting do not dissapoint!

Extreme DJ and Lighting was a fantastic company to work with. Buster is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He didn't try to over sell he was very honest and would let us know if something wasn't going to work right. He listened and offered suggestions to ensure everything met our needs for our wedding. He also is very organized and helps come up with a wedding day schedule so everything goes as smoothly as possible. There were zero worries about the service Extreme DJ and Lighting was offering. They were on time and produced everything we asked for with no issues.

His DJ service was a little pricey but most DJ's are expensive. The Lighting is worth the money, it added a lot to the overall look of the reception. I would not skimp on the lighting service. The DJ service he offered was very good. He payed attention to the crowd and made sure people were dancing all night.

I suggest using Extreme DJ and Lighting for any wedding or future event.

Easy to work with

Buster helped us coordinate well before our wedding, which was super helpful considering we really had no clue where to start. RJ followed through with all the details on the day of, and we were very pleased. We got a lot of compliments on RJ’s professionalism and kindness throughout and we’re very impressed with how well he managed our families differing tastes in music.

Extreme DJ was overall very professional and very helpful with organizing and sticking to a schedule during the reception. They were a little hard to get a hold of during the planning process but in the end very accommodating and full of ideas.

It’s not your day, it’s the DJs

There are a few reasons for my low score review. Some small things like claiming not to know what’s going on although lots of paperwork and details need to be submitted 30 days prior to your event. Rudeness in assuming everyone is out to steal equipment, and very little open mindedness or willingness to try things or make things work in the bride/grooms favor

But, I can put that all aside. The most disappointing aspect of this vendor is that I will never know what my parents were thinking or would have said to me on my wedding day. Why? This vendor was worried that guests were getting bored and wanted to get to the music/dancing sooner. How did we do that? He skipped over my mom’s requested champagne toast and right over my dad’s welcome toast. Unfortunately, my maid of honor tested positive for COVID-19 and couldn’t be there to give her speech, so all we heard from that night was my husbands best man. I am the first of three girls in my family to get married so a pretty big deal for my parents. Still to this day and almost 6 months later, I feel absolutely horrible that MY night, OUR night, was overruled by what the DJ wanted for his reputation.

In the moment, my head was in a million different places and I had assumed our timeline was simply getting shifted to best support our DJ - *eye roll* - It wasn’t until later when things calmed down and the night was almost over that I realized speeches weren’t happening at all.

I would love to give Extreme DJ and Lighting a 5 star review, it just isn’t possible. Buster is personable, and appears to be very organized, but things fell apart at the end. He started not answering emails promptly, which created some tension when we needed an answer quickly. The song requests were submitted one month before the wedding and I even emailed Buster and told him that if he had any questions about the songs to please let us know. No response. At our last meeting with the vendor, she explained that the DJs would run the sound through their system, and she would call Buster and go over this with him. Buster had said that they had been at this venue, but later it came out that they had not been there. The venue called Buster, but he never bothered calling her back, so he had no idea that the sound was going to be run through their system. This prevented them from using the system we had rented, so 30 minutes before the ceremony we found out that the additional $175 we spent for a larger system and two microphones for the singers was not going to be able to be used, meaning that our singers only had one mike between them. 15 minutes before the ceremony, BJ told me that the song for the cake cutting was wrong. We had to track down the groom who figured out what had happened. No explanation as to why no one had gotten in touch with us a month earlier when we submitted the songs. The bride and groom had a “preferred” list of songs, but none of them were played until the end of the night. BJ complained about missing her daughter’s prom and her bad divorce. There was no interaction with the crowd;she was even seen on her phone more than once throughout the night. One slow song was played, to which everyone got up and danced, and then no more slow songs were played. I called Buster and we talked about it, and then I sent an email stating that I at least felt I should get the $175 back that we didn’t need to spend, but no response after 2 weeks. Disappointing.

Horrendous

We booked with Extreme DJs & Lighting for our wedding as we were recommended to them through our venue. As we had to postpone and eventually cancel due to COVID-19, Buster was unwilling to give us a refund or even partial refund as we cancelled within 90 days of our event. A pandemic is not something my now husband and I ever expected to have happen, and Buster was the ONLY vendor unwilling to give us our money back. He was immoral, unethical and only concerned about his own business. Buster was fine keeping our money (almost a thousand dollars) for doing absolutely nothing! Our venue was wonderful and would highly recommend booking with them, however Extreme DJs & Lighting are no longer in their recommended vendor packet.
