Excellent DJ and Overall Service Provider
We worked with DJ Q on the front-end to figure out the best DJ for our wedding. He was responsive, professional, and was attentive to our specific needs. We ultimately went with DJ Bo for our wedding night. DJ Bo did an amazing job! He is a true professional, he listened to the specific instructions we provided and he kept the party going all night! Thankful that we went with this provider, they helped make our wedding amazing.

Flawless execution
Jeff was an amazing DJ who was responsive to our requests, attentive to our needs, attuned to the energy of the wedding, and flawless in his selection of music to keep the dance floor exciting and packed all night. An Extraordinary Experience
The EE team was awesome to work with and helped make our wedding day perfect. Eric was our DJ for the ceremony, brunch reception AND after party and brought the same high level of energy and attention to every minute he was with us. He listened to what we were looking for, incorporated our favorite songs and created the vibe that made everything come together seamlessly. We had a lot of comments from guests on how much fun the music was and how well Eric captured our day with music - it was like working with a good friend.
We also used EE for the photo booth and it was a phenomenal addition to our reception. Guests had a great memory to take home. I highly recommend the EE Team to anyone looking for a great partner for any event - Thank you Jeff, Eric, Sailor, and Stefanie for a phenomenal experience!

Easy and FUN!
We booked DJ Mike Reed for our wedding recently and it was such an easy choice! We didn't want to listen to any typical "wedding music" and Mike really brought the best kind of energy. After talking to him, he knew exactly what we wanted to hear. He kept the atmosphere so fun and everyone had a great time. Working with Extraordinary Entertainment was so easy! Perfect Night, Perfect DJ!
We worked with Eric Stevens for our vow renewal/marriage celebration. We were really looking to party as we had to elope during the height of the pandemic and postpone the celebration with our loved ones. Eric and Extraordinary Entertainment delivered and then some! Eric worked out the details of his setup with the venue so there was one less thing for me to worry about and he was extremely flexible. When I struggled to express our music tastes, he gave us a whole list of the most commonly played event songs so that we could share our likes and dislikes. From there he ran with it and created the perfect vibe for our ceremony that I was hoping for: Fun, Energetic, and Danceable! Not only were my husband and I overjoyed with how the night went, I had multiple guests raving to me about how much they liked our DJ. If I could get married again just to hire Eric a second time, I would!

Amazing wedding savers!!
Our original vendor canceled the morning of our 6:00 wedding! I contacted John at 10:00 am and he was able to put a team together, get our background designed and coordinate with our vendor before I even secured the payment!
The staff was courteous and helpful! I just received the link to download all of the photos taken and we couldn’t be more pleased.
What an amazing company to complete our wedding!! Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Jeff was an absolutely awesome Emcee/ DJ!
Jeff from Extraordinary Entertainment is truly the best Emcee/ DJ I could have asked for! There were basically two age groups at our wedding: younger Millennials (between 25-30) and our parents (between 50-60). Jeff was able to incorporate songs that made everyone happy and get up to dance, and was able to read the room very well and adjust the line up so the party never stopped. The portal he uses was super helpful to communicate what songs should and should not be played (we had a guest request for Baby Shark… no thanks!). The portal was useful to list out the names of our parents and bridal party so they could be announced for speeches and bridal party intros, and we also could give him the order of events which made things run smoothly. He also gave us a call a few weeks out to finalize the schedule and go over details so there were no surprises on the wedding day. It was a great time and Jeff really helped everything run well and kept the exhilarating vibe going the entire day and night!

Great time with DJ Q
found this vendor just searching online. Worked with Quentin who is both the main contact and the DJ for our wedding. Everyone said he did a stellar job and we couldn't agree more. The fact that EE was a one stop shop for other event related things made this a no brainer. In addition to DJ services, we were also able to get a photobooth which was a huge hit. And they offer a convenient portal to catalog your potential music suggestions and plan your event. Q was responsive throughout the entire process and the wedding want off without a hitch.

Great Photo Booth!
We just used them for a photo booth, which was a huge hit at the wedding. They were prompt, professional, and had very customizable templates for the photo booth. The price was also very reasonable. We'd highly recommend adding it to your wedding!

Extraordinary Entertainment went above and beyond to make our wedding the best it could be. From the start, Mike was attentive to our vision and responsive in communication. You could tell he was truly invested in making the day fun, enjoyable, and worry-free. DJ Q was also the perfect DJ and we couldn't recommend him more. He was so nice and made sure everyone was having a blast on the dance floor all night. The planning process was simple - EE has an online portal with forms for us to fill out regarding song requests/preferences, day-of timelines, what dances to include, wedding party announcements, etc. Their process is easy and efficient throughout.

Andrew Robinson was quite literally the BEST DJ of any wedding we have been to thus far. Not only, did he make sure to play all the songs we requested, but he played them in an order that made perfect sense with the flow of the night. The dance floor was full the ENTIRE NIGHT. Aside from crushing it in regards to the music choices, he was a lively emcee, and made sure that our officiant and guests had the highest quality sound equipment. Andrew was a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding, the day of and after. HIGHLY RECOMMEND hiring him and his company for all of your DJ needs. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing Photobooth service
We used Book Extraordinary for our wedding photobooth and confetti cannons. The service and quality of our photos was top notch. I'm so happy we found them and used them at our wedding. The unlimited printing and sharing of the raw photo files after is a big plus. I've been sending out hilarious photos to our guests since we received the files. We also used the print outs to be placed in our guest book and they look so good and were such a joy to read through the day after our wedding. Confetti cannons were a big hit as well. Highly recommend!

Photobooth was a huge hit!
We used EE for their 360 Photobooth at our wedding reception in DC and it was a huge hit! Every guest loved how cool it was compared to a regular photobooth, the slow-motion effect, the custom props and designs for the video output. It was an amazing experience and worth every penny! Jeff from EE was also very professional and responsive. He made the booking process very easy and answered all of my questions. Day-of their staff showed up on time and were professionally dressed. We would 110% recommend EE to anyone planning an event in the DMV!

Extraordinary Entertainment was by far one of our best vendors. Words can’t even begin to describe how fantastic Jeff was. From the get go, he totally understood our vision and went above and beyond to make sure everything would go smoothly. Even with the torrential downpour that occurred on our wedding day, the show went on and Jeff didn’t bat an eye. Our hope was that the dance floor would never be empty and Jeff more than delivered! Countless guests have commented on how great the music was and we couldn’t agree more. Jeff also did our ceremony which went perfectly. We so appreciate him taking the time to ensure all logistics were taken care of. Andrew was great to work with as well - organized, responsive, checked in with us at the right moments throughout the process, and very professional. Perfect photo booth!
This was the perfect photo booth that looked much classier than a photo booth for our wedding! The props were so much fun and our guests absolutely loved it. You can have the pictures texted to the guests phones, which is super convenient for social media! The company was also super understanding and flexible when I had to move our wedding date 3 times due to the pandemic.

Our experience with Extraordinary Entertainment was nothing short of amazing! From the first time we spoke with Andrew to DJ our wedding in September, he was professional and transparent. He walked us through step by step how to plan our big day and what to expect. The online portal was extremely helpful and helped us organize our wedding details (and it was super user friendly!). Andrew was great about checking in with us periodically to make sure we were on the right track and our questions were answered. When it came to the actual day of OUR wedding, Andrew was PHENONMENAL! He was prompt, professional and organized which took so much pressure off us. Even with COVID restrictions, he was able to engage our guests and was super outgoing on the mic. If you are planning an intimate micro-wedding, trust us—YOU STILL WANT A DJ! We can’t recommend DJ Konsistance and Extraordinary Entertainment highly enough.
Working with Extraordinary Entertainment for our wedding was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Their client portal for music requests and timelines made planning so easy. We had no doubt that the music at our wedding would be on point. Despite all the uncertainty with planning a wedding during COVID, Mike and DJ Konsistance (TJ) remained responsive, professional, flexible, and accommodating. We especially appreciated TJ’s weekly check-ins.
TWO WEEKS before the wedding we found out that due to Baltimore City’s latest COVID restrictions, we had to cut our guest list down to 25. Mike responded right away with our options. We ultimately decided to go ALL IN to have the best 25-person wedding there ever was. DJ Konsistance made that happen for us. Because of him, our intimate micro-wedding never once felt like a back-up plan. Every song played set the perfect vibe and our guests danced the entire time. We were referred to them by another person who had used their photo booth, and we were able to book them one week before our daughter's wedding! They were awesome, and everyone enjoyed the photo booth. Definitely recommend !

We booked Jeff Lang for our 10/26/19 wedding. From the start, Jeff was a breeze and a joy to work with. He was easy to hop on the phone with to do some initial planning and didn't mind a few follow up calls, even before booking him, just to make sure we had the details and timeline straight. Every time we talked to Jeff, he was enthusiastic, understood what we wanted out of our playlist and our music, and incredibly accommodating about our preferences.
On the day-of, Jeff and his team were fantastic. They arrived early, were prepared, and got everything set up seamlessly. When it was time for dancing, Jeff killed it -- he mixed our playlists perfectly, read the crowd, and was super enthusiastic. Working with Jeff was fun, positive, and easy.

We cannot speak highly enough of Jeff Lang. If you want a packed dance floor from start to finish, he is your guy, without a doubt!!!! We were so lucky to have had him as our DJ. Every guest said that was the most they have danced at a wedding. Friends who got married earlier in the year told us they wish they used Jeff instead of their DJ. On top of the BOMB playlist, he was professional, kind, happy, down to earth, and got us all excited for our entrances and our songs! He played every song we requested and timed it perfectly through the night. He also was able to supply uplighting and set up independently without a hitch. He came up and discussed some requests guests were making to double check they would fit our vibe, which was so appreciated. I would never dare recommend another DJ to anyone- Jeff is your guy!! THANK YOU FOR NOT MISSING A BEAT AND LAYING DOWN THE SOUNDTRACK TO THE BEST NIGHT OF OUR LIVES!

My husband and I booked the photo booth and uplights through Extraordinary and both services were top notch. They are prompt with answering calls and emails and on the day of they executed exactly how I had envisioned. I called a few vendors for uplights and they by far had the best rates. The photo booth was a huge hit and I loved how I got to choose the backdrop as well as the template for the photo prints. The photo booth attendant, Kelvin was awesome and made the overall experience that much more special. I would highly recommend their services!

Let’s just start by saying Extraordinary Entertainment has some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. From the first day, over both phone and email, they were extremely detailed, helpful, and made our experience as customizable as possible (beyond anything I ever could’ve expected). We had photobooth services from this vendor and I will say this to everyone I know: INVEST IN THE PHOTOBOOTH! They’re SO much fun. Kids and adults love them equally and on top of that, they make for some really cute personality shots you truly wouldn’t get otherwise. No one does it better than extraordinary. Fantastic Experience
DJ Jeff was a fantastic DJ, and extremely professional. Sound system was well set up, and there were no issues at all during the ceremony, reception, or once the dance floor opened up. While we had one of our wedding party act as the MC for the night, DJ Jeff helped out a ton with various administrative announcements, and kept people hyped the whole night on the dance floor. During the planning process he was helpful, flexible, and good natured. It helped keep the whole process as stress free as possible.
My wife and I highly recommend Extraordinary Entertainment, and more specifically, DJ Jeff.

Extraordinary Magic Mirror Wedding Fun
Can't not say enough great things about EE's service. We ordered the Magic Mirror for our wedding and it was an absolute hit! All the guests lined up for it and had a blast taking photos. We ordered the green screen as well, which the EE team allowed me to pick 6 of my own customized backgrounds that allowed the guest to choose as well. The even provided some complimentary fun displays for the guests to take photos with. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating to any requests we made. Response time was also fast, whether it was inquiries for fees and options to making adjustments to the service prior to the wedding. We were even given digital copies of all the guest photos post-wedding, which is really appreciated when you're crazy busy with all wedding details and festivities and want to see your guest enjoying the photo booth. I highly recommend Magic Mirror and ordering with Extraordinary Entertainment, it definitely added so much fun to an already special day.

I have nothing bad to say about this company - from the initial communication, to the ongoing conversations and planning, to set up, to event, everything was seamless. Andrew was very responsive to my emails and questions and our photo booth attendant, Josh, was professional, helpful, and fun! We used the photo booth King, which was a HUGE hit! I think having all of the photos emailed to you for digital download was our favorite part - My husband and I were too busy to have a lot of time with the booth, but we received an email from Andrew with all of the photo files taken that night... being able to look back at all of our guests having a blast with the booth and props was so much fun! An excellent vendor who made our wedding even more fun
My fiancée and I had waited a little longer than we should have to find a photo booth for our wedding. When I set about calling around to various companies, Extraordinary stood out for having someone on the end of the phone who could answer my questions, and their technology was both modern and elegant, with numerous background and prop options. Later, when we wanted a custom background for our prints, accomplishing this was painless. When we needed a bit of additional help strictly outside the basic work we had initially engaged them for, they were very accommodating, and the added fee was reasonable. We'll cop to being a bit demanding as clients, and yet Josh and the Extraordinary team didn't blink. If we have need for a photo booth in the future, this is the company we will call.

We met Andrew several years ago - maybe 5?! for a totally different reason and from the moment we met in person, I knew we'd hire him some day to DJ our wedding. Andrew is an extremely kind, professional, and flexible individual. Working with Extraordinary Entertainment was one of the most seamless vendor relationships we had when wedding planning. They have a very user-friendly online booking platform where you can completely customize your day, from entering timeline, speaker role, playlist - must play and please don't play, sound needs, photobooth details, and so much more. Andrew took the time to meet with us in person to get to know us as a couple before DJing our wedding, which meant the world. Our day was a TON of fun and everything ran smoothly, much to Andrew's emcee skills. We requested an anniversary dance for my grandparent's 65th wedding anniversary and Andrew brought the room to happy tears with his approach - it was so special and made my Nana, who is embarrassed by everything, totally comfortable and happy throughout. We had Stephanie from Extraordinary Entertainment at a company party this past weekend. She was on time and SO friendly. Although I already had a backdrop in mind and props that we provided, she had a quick solution when our back drop was too transparent for the photobooth. She added some props to make it fuller and was so patient and helpful. This was the first time we had used a photobooth at a company event and it was a HIT! Let me just say, I had no idea what I was doing when it came to figuring out things like speakers and microphones, but Josh was so so very helpful and patient and worked with me, our DJ, planner and venue to make sure everything was set. We used their photo booth services too and it was so fun. Josh was incredibly responsive and would call me right away and email quickly as well. DJ Q was amazing. Firstly, agreeing to be a part of our wedding in New Orleans, even though he's based in the DMV, was already deserving of major kudos. But DJ Q went above and beyond. He was patient with my constant emailing about aesthetics and song choices and was flexible enough to allow for all our last minute changes. As for the actual reception, well, just check out his instagram to see how he got the crowd lively! For an audience of West Indians, West Africans and New Orleanians, he played music that made everyone stay on the dancefloor.

Andrew was our dj and he was AMAZING! He was always enthusiastic during our meetings, and easy to work with. He cut our music for the first dances on short notice, and seamlessly adjusted to a few planning changes as they came up. The music was excellent. He really understood our style, and kept guests on the dance floor all night long. At one point during dinner, he even came up to confirm our wishes after a few guests put in odd requests.

Andrew was fantastic! All of our guests raved about how amazing our DJ was and that the music was so much fun! Our guests also enjoyed the photobooth and our attendant was super awesome too!
Andrew was great in moving everything inside when unfortunately we got a downpour 10 min before the ceremony.
We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!!!!!

Mike Reed was the definition of the perfect DJ for our wedding! He was flexible and professional beyond words we can describe. He stepped in pretty last minute for our wedding on September 3rd, when our previous DJ company would not return any form of communication at what we felt the last minute, 1.5 months out from the wedding!! Mike jumped in head first to rescue the day, he calmed our nerves and made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted for the day from equipment, music selections and general flow of the day. He was easy to work with throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding he arrived early for set up, everything was perfect!! The wedding flow was seamless thanks to his continuous communication. The dance floor was constantly full and I'm still getting complements about how great the DJ and music selections were. We can't thank Mike enough for stepping up and exceeding our expectations time and time again. He was even stung by a bee ON THE LIP and never once complained or made it obvious to guests. He is exceptional and I would recommend him and his company to anyone looking for a great time! I wish we stared with this company and Mike from the beginning it would have saved so much time and frustrations.

Planning a wedding can be very stressful when looking for different vendors, Extraordinary Entertainment was by far the best vendor we contracted. Andrew is a total gem and a pleasure to work with; I didn't have a care in the world when it came to my wedding day. He was very transparent and informative, accessible throughout the process, and always made sure we stayed on the same page.
It's a challenge to bring two families together, especially when they are of different cultures. I don't know how but Andrew managed to pull it all together and keep the dancefloor going ALL NIGHT LONG. There wasn't a dull moment and everyone loved the mix of music.
The photo booth was a big hit as well, it was bigger and more eye-catching than I imagined. I've been to other weddings where the photo booth is more of an afterthought and goes unnoticed - this was not the case! It only added to the excitement and ended up providing a great keepsake for everyone.
As far as ceremony sound goes, I didn't realize how necessary it was - and it is! I was so happy that everyone could hear the officiant and really be part of the ceremony experience, no matter where they were sitting. I also had live music and my cousin sang during the ceremony, so having the sound set up was crucial to everyone being able to enjoy the performance.
I can't say enough about how great Extraordinary Entertainment is, throughout the planning process and during the event itself - they never fail to impress!

Andrew was great and so was our DJ Remy Sounds. Both were so patient and willing to answer my millions of questions and offer their expert advice. We also had a photo booth which was a big hit and so much fun. Our big day was perfect. I highly recommend Extraordinary Entertainment and would use them again most definitely.

DJ Q is one of the best DJs I have ever heard perform. As a former DJ, I wanted someone who not only knew the music, but also had some turntable mastery and a good sense of what people wanted to hear. DJ Q provided the highest quality service that we could have hoped for. He knew exactly what we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations. I had guests complimenting me on the music selection all night, starting with the cocktail hour and ending with the last dance. I would hire DJ Q again in a second for any professional function. Easy to work with, down to earth, and an expert on what gets people dancing - I highly recommend DJ Q.

Andrew and team worked with us every step of the way to get a feel for what the crowd would be like and nailed it from the very start. He is the perfect balance between professional and fun. I have recommended Extraordinary to everyone I know since and they once again exceeded expectations at my sister's wedding! Absolutely the best DJ and entertainment company in the DMV area!

Andrew did our wedding on October 1, 2016 and he made it absolutely perfect! From the very beginning he put us at such ease, made the process so simple for us and genuinely has such a passion for the music industry! His music selections were so perfect and very unique to ourstyle instead of just being cliche like some DJ's can be. He brought so much energy and kept all our guests dancing the entire time. He was very attentive to our needs and day of the wedding I knew I had nothing to worry about! We got so many compliments about him! On top of all that, he had awesome lights that he set up that turned the entire reception area into such a party atmosphere.

What can I say about DJ Q of Extraordinary Entertainment? ? My wedding was almost 2 years ago and I still have friends and family me telling me how awesome of a time they had that day! Not only did he keep my guest happliy entertained with his music style choices but he also listened to a few requests I and others had that night. His sound equipment is also amazing! We had the ceremony and reception outside and the sound quality still was phenomenal! He also made me feel calm and at ease about my Big Day by coming with me before the wedding to make sure his equipment would be in the best spot for the best sound. He is very professional and knows what songs to play at just the right time. My guest could hardly sit down all night- the dance floor was packed! We had so much fun and I often wish I could relive that day.I'm am so blessed to have had him for one of the most important days of my life! Thanks again Dj Q of Extraordinary Entertainment!

DJ Q was wonderful!!! He was so easy to communicate to and work with. I gave him a list of songs and what I wanted and he created the greatest playlist ever! So many of my guests said my wedding was one of the best they've been to! I highly recommend DJ Q! So wonder; he even played this I didn't know I really wanted to hear. We had such a great party. I cannot possibly express how incredibly happy we are that we chose Quentin for our big day. From the sweet ceremony where he made it sound like the music was coming from the trees around us, to the perfectly tempoed cocktail hour where classics like Frank Sinatra set the mood, to the amazing reception where everyone, and I mean everyone, was on the dance floor all night -- DJ Q nailed it. We met with Quentin a couple of times ahead of the event; first, going over what we've liked at other weddings (and what we haven't), the type of music we were looking for and getting a feel for the flow of the day. Our second meeting was at our venue, with our photographer, to do an extensive walkthrough of the venue. Here, Quentin took extra special care to find where he could seamlessly hide electrical, test the acoustics of the rooms, and give us a feel for how things would sound. As any bride, I had a million things to think about, and Quentin filled in where I wasn't sure, asked the right questions, and made sure everything went smoothly. I can't tell you how many people, both at the wedding, and after, came up to us and said how amazing the DJ was. He was fun, and energetic, but genuine and kind -- kept the party GOING. I really have never had so much fun in my life, and never got off the dance floor. People said ours was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to and I credit SO much of that to Quentin. Music plays such a huge role in people's mood, energy, and interaction -- it's so important to get someone who knows what they're doing. Would I recommend him? In a second. I'm telling you -- he will make your wedding one in a million."

It was such a pleasure working with Andrew at Extraordinary Entertainment! He was enthusiastic, helpful, responsive, and professional at all times. Andrew did a great job outlining Extraordinary Entertainment's various packages for us and guiding us through the whole experience from planning our ceremony to picking the perfect dance songs. We also appreciated that he coordinated with our other vendors to ensure that the day would run smoothly. The music and sound on our wedding day was flawless. Extraordinary Entertainment was great to work with. I spoke with him a few times before the wedding and had everything ready a few days before. During the reception he got everyone up and on the dance floor, where everyone stayed. You could hear everything the DJ said and played clearly through his system, which was great during the cake cutting/bouquet toss/etc. He was great to work with and I definitely recommend Extraordinary Entertainment.

Andrew and his team were amazing. From the ceremony music, the cocktail hour, and the reception, Andrew had everyone moving and dancing the entire night! We had some special music picked out for different dances and he pulled it all together like a champ. He and his team also survived some electric shock due to a thunderstorm that blew out the power briefly. But the night went off without a hitch! We also had rented the photobooth through Extraordinary Entertainment which was a fun and fantastic addition! People LOVED the photo booth and all of the props, and the pictures are some of our favorites from the day. We couldn't have asked for a better. We would absolutely recommend EE for any event, especially if you want to have the best wedding ever.

Choosing Andrew from Extraordinary Ent. as my wedding DJ was one of the easiest and best decisions I made for my wedding. He was so easy to work with and as a bride, flexibility is everything! Our first meeting was a breeze - I gave him all the tentative details I had, which we easily finalized a week or two before the wedding. It was so nice to be able to say I need A, B and C... And then he made the final decisions accordingly and completely took the logistics off my plate. He had great music suggestions and completely customized a flawlessly smooth playlist for the big day with all the songs I wanted! It was perfect and exactly what I wanted. He was also an incredible DJ during the reception. I told him the overall theme I was going for and he stuck to it. My favorite part is that he completely adapted to the crowd.. He knew what mood our guests were in and kept the music going to keep the energy and mood up. Everyone was on the floor dancing all night.. We had to book a last minute round of our shuttle because no one wanted to leave! The next morning at the hotel breakfast, the thing most people continuously talked about was the music and how great Andrew was. I had such a fun wedding and reception, and I have Andrew & Extraordinary Entertainment to thank for it!
