We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better company to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, our DJ, Toryn was incredibly personable and easy to work with, which immediately put us at ease. He did a perfect job keeping the energy high while also making sure the flow of the reception was smooth and seamless. Everything felt natural, fun, and perfectly timed.
The music kept people on the dance floor all night, and the vibe he created made the entire evening feel unforgettable. On top of that, the saxophone player on his team was absolutely AMAZING. Cocktail hour felt like its own party — lively, fun, and full of energy, with guests dancing as if the reception had already started.
If you’re looking for someone who truly knows how to read the room, create incredible moments, and make your wedding feel like a celebration from start to finish, we couldn’t recommend Toryn more highly. Exquisite Sounds Entertainment, and especially Toryn, was so much more than just a DJ. He was an absolute magician who curated the exact vibe we dreamed of for our reception. He managed to strike the perfect balance: keeping things classy and fun for everyone, while still letting the younger crowd have their moment to hit the dance floor and turn up (without going too wild, of course!).
Toryn didn’t miss a single detail. Every request we made, every special moment we wanted acknowledged, he made it all happen seamlessly. As an MC, he was phenomenal. He made everyone feel at ease, kept the energy flowing, and genuinely went above and beyond in every way.
One of the most impressive parts? He had the incredibly tricky task of merging two cultures, my Italian family who doesn’t speak English, and our American guests, and he did it with such grace. From dinner through dancing, he made sure to incorporate both Italian and English songs so that everyone felt included and celebrated.
Our guests still can’t stop talking about how amazing he was. Toryn, thank you for bringing pure magic to our day. We truly couldn’t recommend you enough! -

OMG, where do I begin? Our DJ, DJ Mave, was amazing on our wedding day and prior. This company is true professionals; from the beginning of the process to the end, they completely ensure they have everything they need to make your day perfect. Toryn, she, and Mave had great communication throughout the process and walked you through everything.
As my husband and I are from the Bay Area and the majority of our guests were, we wanted to bring the Bay to the A, and DJ Mave did not disappoint. He had the entire wedding on the dance floor the entire time; folks never left to enjoy the other parts of the wedding. He was great at pivoting when small things arose and worked well with me, as we were connected without even speaking. I always feel the DJ is a huge part of making or breaking the experience of the wedding, and Mave was on point from the ceremony and collaborating with our saxophonist to the end. I'm so appreciative, as our wedding was something our family and friends will be talking about for years!! -

My wife and I reached out to Toryn to book entertainment for our wedding reception. We were then contacted by Shey who scheduled a meeting for us. Toryn presented us with very detailed and well produced press kits for each DJ, so we could choose a DJ who we felt we could work well with.
We made the great decision to work with DJ Marcus! Prior to our wedding, Marcus attended planning meetings, took notes and listened to our requests. On the day of the event Marcus was attentive, punctual and professional. He kept the party going, and ensured that every special moment from the first dance to our speeches went perfectly.
Our guests danced till the end of the event, had an amazing time and some did not want to go home!

Through the recommendation of another friend, we had a wedding celebration party that we were planning and decided to let Exquisite Sounds Entertainment to handle the DJ and Photobooth experience. From the start, the level of professionalism and responsiveness was excellent and they made us feel comfortable, especially with all the other planning that was simultaneously happening. During the actual event, DJ Marcus did a phenomenal job of keeping the party flowing, with no "gaps" and playing music that kept the guests ON THE FLOOR! The photobooth was a fun thing for guests to participate as well and the attendant, Leo, was extremely helpful and friendly to interact with in taking the photos. Everyone said they had such a fun time at our party and I know you really helped in making that happen. Thank you so much for that! -

JayBee the DJ provided top-tier wedding DJ services on our special day. He provided exceptional communication along with informative and supportive checklists for our wedding planning process. He's personable, professional, and attentive. One of my favorite things about JayBee the DJ was the song snippets he played after our toasts that adlibbed what our best man and MOHs stated in their speeches. For example, one of my MOHs mentioned that I can be "a little bit bossy" and JayBee played a snippet of 'Bossy' by Kelis (I love her and that song lol). Another example is that I changed into a reception dress but forgot to mention the dress change in our consultation. I returned to the dance floor in my second dress when 'Wipe Me Down' was playing and JayBee noticed and ran the song back from the top to shout me out. That moment was the most turned-up of the night and my husband had his moment when joined me on the floor - everyone danced and the energy was high for that moment and I can't wait to see the footage on our wedding highlight video from our videographer. Special touches such as that mean a lot to both of us. He kept the energy up and integrated songs we loved with perfect timing. We incorporated a nod to the 70s and our love for vinyl collecting into our decor and music during the earlier part of our wedding day and JayBee helped us to determine when to play the selection of 70s R&B, soul, and jazz songs for the optimal guest experience and changed the vibe for the reception to upbeat hip-hop, rap, and R&B. We heard so many good things from our guests -- one reached out for a referral. We also booked the uplighting add-on and it looked amazing. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again! -

Toryn was the bomb! I want to have another event just so I can have him dj. It was an absolute pleasure to have him as our dj for our wedding. We had a lot special requests and he walked us through them and rocked with us to make sure our day was special from the microphones for the singer and saxophonist in the beginning, photo booth for the cocktail hour all the way to the party at the end. Overall he provided the microphones for the ceremony and reception, technical set up for the cocktail hour band, photobooth, sparklers, dance on a cloud effect, hype and fun for the reception. He even threw in a few extras. I highly recommend working with him. He was an important part of our wedding day and we look forward to booking him again one day. -

Planning my daughter’s wedding scheduled for 07/10/22 in Atlanta while residing in Charlotte was an assignment that I needed help with. After contacting a DJ in CLT, I was referred to Toryn Lankford Founder, DJ & Event MC @ Exquisite Sounds Entertainment in ATL. During the first phone meeting that my daughter and I had with Toryn, he was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My daughter and I are very detailed and locating a DJ that would be a good fit and a great listener was very important to us. At that time, we did not hesitate hiring Toryn for his DJ service and was very ecstatic to have Toryn as one of our vendors. I really appreciated Toryn honesty during our first meeting when he mentioned that he will not be available for my daughter’s wedding due to another wedding commitment. However, Toryn has several awesome team members and my daughter was referred to Kaleb. Kaleb is an amazing, exceptional and skilled DJ. Toryn and Kaleb kept my daughter and I very informed via email or phone calls. They provided a website portal that was very helpful. On the day of my daughter’s wedding, Kaleb exceeded my expectations by making the guests feel welcomed and the music selections related to all ages. Everyone was on the dance floor until the conclusion of the wedding including my 90 yr old mother & 88 yr old aunt. Kaleb extra energy and friendly personality had the wedding guests longing for more. Exquisite Sounds Entertainment photo booth service was an added bonus to my daughter’s wedding, The guests enjoyed the booth as well as the music and several guests commented that it was the best wedding they had attended. JayBee literally did not come to play! We hired him for our wedding day through the referral of our wedding planner. From the first phone call, we knew we loved his energy. We are very lively and the day of JayBee brought all the energy!! The song choices were on point and he could read the crowd very well. We had the most amazing and perfect wedding, and are so grateful to our amazing team of vendors that made it happen! We worked with Toryn and Kaleb of Exquisite Sounds Entertainment for DJ/MC services at our wedding, and they REALLY delivered. We had some calls ahead of the wedding to discuss what kind of music and vibe we were looking for, and let me just tell you about how Kaleb NAILED it and then some!
He had a really great energy and kept the guests super energized. There wasn't even a moment where the dance floor was empty! He did a really great job with the music transitions too. This was not a 1-song-plays-then-another-song-plays playlist vibe, it really felt like we were at a DJ set in a club with the way he was mixing beats and running the show 🤩
We had a some dances where he would show everyone how it's done, he'd have songs where he'd have us all sing the lyrics, and – most notably – at one point he called all the guests to come up to the stage for a group photo and we had a CHANT OF OUR WEDDING HASHTAG HAPPEN. Like. All I'm saying is, if you want your wedding to be classed as the best wedding ever by your family (and not like best wedding ever cause you're the first one to get married but actually because it was so fun that everyones still sad that it's over when it's been a month), hire Exquisite Sounds Entertainment. That's all I'm saying.
TLDR: 10/10 we would get married with Kaleb as our DJ again if we could! 🙌🏾 💯 -

If you want a professional entertainment company that can provide lapel mics, uplighting, and a great time, Exquisite Sounds is HANDS DOWN where you start and stop. I had the pleasure of having DJ Toryn Lankford as our DJ for the night and our guests are still messaging us 2 days later asking for a playlist and raving about the music. My husband and I went to college during the best era — 2005 to 2009 — and Toryn was able to give us that, plus great oldies and some new jams. We all worked off our meal, the dance floor was packed the entire time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better vendor!!! We are forever indebted to the Exquisite Sounds team! -

DJ Toryn is the absolute BEST!! He was our DJ at our wedding and was so professional from the start, had an open line of communication every step of the way, great on reaching out and so insightful to the vibe we wanted at our wedding. We truly gave him very little to work off as far as music selections went, all we knew was that we wanted our guests to have an amazing time and to dance the night away. And that’s exactly what he delivered! There was not one moment where there wasn’t at least half of the wedding guests on the dance floor and everyone loving every single song he put out. Excellent Service
Our Dj Toryn was Awesome! From the beginning to the end, Toryn and his team stayed on top of things with us and made sure our music was in place for our special day. He was always available to answer any questions and emails we had. He's very down to earth and funny! Toryn presented himself well at our wedding, he dressed for the occasion and we stayed on the dance floor all night! I barely ate my food i was so ready to dance.....lolol I would definitely recommend Exquisite Sounds Ent. You won't be disappointed! -

Toryn gave us a party!! I hired toryn for my wedding, and I couldn't have made a better decision. We were worried that people wouldn't be on the dance floor and he made it happen. Toryn was responsive from the moment I first contacted him until the very end. My wedding guests loved him because he made sure everyone was having a great time. The thing I loved most was that I didn't have to give toryn a long wedding playlist, I gave him a few songs and he took it from there. Thank you toryn for an amazing time at our wedding!! -

Wedding Party!!
Toryn gave us exactly what we asked for...A PARTY! Our wedding was so much fun...and that's from not only us but our guest said so too! Toryn had everyone from every age group on the dance floor the entire night!

Best DJ Ever!!

We hired Exquisite Sounds last year for our June 2020 wedding. Due to Covid-19 we had to reschedule and they were more than accommodating with our new date.
Making payments was seamless and usage of the portal to input our music selections was a breeze. Toryn was available for our venue walk through, Zoom calls and was on time and ready for our wedding day.
As the bride I was pulled in 100 directions but Ceremony songs played without a hitch, there was never any dead time during the reception and he kept the guests engaged.
I would definitely recommend Toryn and Exquisite Sounds Entertainment for any couple seeking a DJ. Wedding planning is stressful and this is ONE thing I didn’t have to stress about. I can only imagine how my wedding would have been pre-Covid.

DJ Ken did an incredible job at our wedding! We had a predominantly young crowd, so we wanted to keep the party going as long as possible. And DJ Ken made sure of that! Our guests are still raving over how fun our wedding was and, in particular, how great the music was! Overall, we are very satisfied with our experience with Exquisite Sounds Entertainment. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or big event in the future!

However, when we came across DJ Toryn with Exquisite Sounds Entertainment on social media we knew we had to inquire and the rest is history! Securing Exquisite Sounds Entertainment for our wedding day music, photo booth, and uplighting were one of the best vendor selections we made! DJ Toryn was professional, flexible and patient throughout the entire planning process. The services provided on our wedding day were beyond our wildest dreams. My husband and I were blessed with an amazing wedding planner who introduced us to Exquisite Sounds -- they are one of the best things that could have ever happened to our wedding day and I know they will be the same for you upcoming brides and grooms. From the day we met DJ Toryn and DJ Jaybee we were sold. I was swamped with work and pretty behind on getting things to Toryn, but he was always 2 steps ahead of me! He eased my concerns with a quick joke and then we would get right back to business. Though we initially met both Jaybee and Toryn on our consult, we knew that only Toryn would be at our wedding and I remember thinking I wish I could have them both there. Well, as fate would have it Toryn had an unfortunate injury and was only able to Emcee, so he brought Jaybee as the DJ. We were so happy to see them both...I felt like we had Shaq and Kobe circa 2000 :)
Our wedding was in December and people are still calling us to say it was the highlight of 2019, and the reception was the most fun they ever had...we know our dream team DJs (and very hype bridal party) made it happen. I'm already thinking of my next event so that we can hire them again...they were THAT good! Guys, if you are reading this...we cannot thank you enough. Sending lots of love!

Toryn has been amazing to work with. From the time of the initial consultation to the day the wedding, communication has been prompt and effective. He is organized and makes you feel comfortable. You can definitely trust him with your wedding. On the wedding day, the guests were so happy and on the dance floor the whole time.
