I would definitely recommend Exquisite. We were referred to them by my cousin, who also hired them for his wedding. We used them for MC, DJ, officiant, and photo booth services. Everything was so organized. The MC, Cathy, was very personable and made us feel like we've known her for so long. We love her attentiveness and she catered to all of our needs and wants. She knows how to hype up the crowd with her big energy, and she was assertive and authoritative, but not mean. She also joked and played around, and very patient with us when we were running off trying to get a drink or two. I have a big Chinese family, and Cathy was able to speak in English and Cantonese, which made my family feel very comfortable. The DJ, Edmund, was awesome. He played our Playlist and added songs that was in our preferred genre. We also had a lot of kids at our wedding, and Edmund was able to cater to the kids genre as well. During our entrance, we had given Edmund our song start time. However, we didn't account for the long stairs expansion that took close to 1 minute, so our entrance song played but we weren't making our entrance in yet. I love that when we were about to make our entrance down the stairs, Edmund had seamlessly replayed the part where we had wanted our song to start, and it was perfect. The photo booth attendants were super friendly and very helpful. They would remind us to choose the props and countdown for us. They also helped to adjust the lens to be closer for fewer people or farther for a bigger group.
Overall, we are very satisfied with Exquisite and would definitely recommend them to everyone we know! -

Everything was extremely well-organized and professional from start to finish. Exquisite NY's style, presence, and attentiveness were apparent throughout the night, and you did a great job reading the room and keeping the flow of events smooth. Cathy's voice and energy were spot-on—clear, confident, and engaging without ever being overpowering.
The bilingual aspects were especially well balanced and thoughtfully timed, which made all of our guests feel included and informed. The music selection kept the energy up all night, and the transitions were seamless. The surprise entertainment elements were a huge hit with both our families and truly elevated the experience.
Overall, what stood out most was how attentive and in tune you were with both us and our guests. We absolutely would recommend you without hesitation. -

We chose Cathy and her team because we wanted to have a bilingual MC who could speak both English and Cantonese so my family could follow along the ceremony and the mini-games we had planned. Cathy was warm, organized, and kept the vibe fun and engaging all night! There was a minor hiccup on the music when our groomsmen planned a choreographed entrance, but in the end the whole evening flowed perfectly! The DJ kept the dance floor busy and our guests had a wonderful time! Overall, we had an amazing experience and would happily recommend Cathy and her team to anyone looking for a great bilingual MC and organized experience! -

We hired Exquisite for our wedding and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was super organized leading up to the day: the planning, calls, questionnaires, and working with our venue were all really straightforward. We never felt confused or like we had to chase anyone down for information.
On the day of, they absolutely delivered. The photobooth was a huge hit with our guests and really added to the night. Cathy, our MC, absolutely rules. She brought such a fun, positive energy and you could genuinely tell she cared about making sure everyone was having a good time and had what they needed. She was even cracking jokes back and forth with our bridal party and made everything feel light, natural, and easy. Her ability to read the room was also a big deal for us. During our Tea Ceremony, one of our parents is very traditional, and Cathy picked up on that immediately. She made a couple of on-the-fly suggestions that honestly saved us from what could’ve been a stressful and awkward moment.
The bilingual aspect (English + Cantonese) was extremely important for our families, and they handled it perfectly. Both languages were clear, balanced, and equally understandable. Nothing felt uneven or overly accented, which seems to be fairly common. A lot of our guests would’ve missed important parts of the night without that.
Music-wise, the sound quality was awesome, the playlist process was easy, and they were really flexible about incorporating a few of our custom tracks. My only small tip for future couples is to mention if you prefer shorter edits during the high-energy dancing sections (this applies to every DJ I have ever heard at a wedding btw). Something like keeping songs to no more than two choruses. Even with that, the vibe stayed amazing all night, and so many of our guests came up to us saying how much fun they had and how great the wedding felt.
Overall, we would absolutely recommend Exquisite. They were organized, fun, easy to work with, and genuinely elevated the experience for us and our guests. It was one of the easiest vendor decisions we made, and they delivered beyond expectations. -

When searching for a DJ, we wanted a bilingual English/Cantonese emcee. It is slim pickins' out there, ya'll. But that's when I found Exquisite and also realized it was the same company used for my friend's wedding, and we remember thinking that they did a good job. They also have photobooth services, and I also remember liking their photobooth because the pictures were high quality with a classy background (and not cheesy like some can be), so it basically killed two birds with one stone.
Cathy was our emcee and Edmund was our DJ. About a week before the wedding, we met with Cathy and she had drafted an entire schedule of events for us, which was extremely helpful. On the day of, she also helped keep us on track, which was much appreciated because as you know, the day is very hectic and just flies by in the blink of an eye.
There were a few slight hiccups (i.e. they forgot giant photo booth prop heads we had them make of us, no party favors as mentioned in the contract, and I don't think they coordinated with the maitre'd well enough - for the ceremony, I wanted to walk down the aisle at a very specific point in the song, but the maitre'd had me and my parents come out of the doors too soon - so all of the guests were literally just staring at us for an entire minute, waiting for us to walk). I don't think these are things that are unforgiveable and probably not even things that the guests even noticed but when you're the bride, you notice everything and of course, you want everything to be perfect.
Overall, it was still the best day, and everyone loved Cathy and Edmund. They kept the energy up, even though it was a daytime wedding. All of our guests had a blast! -

For my wedding this year, Exquisite NY was our vendor for photobooth, DJ and MC. I cannot recommend them enough, especially for a once-in-a-lifetime event.
They really elevated the experience. Here are some highlights:
Thoughtful Wedding Consultant: Our point of contact was Cathy and also our MC. Prior to the wedding, Cathy helped with recommending vendors of which the videographer she recommended was who we went with. Additionally, Cathy provided guidance and advice on day-of wedding flow. For example, our parents were anxious types and didn’t want to dance in front of an audience so we nixed the concept of parent / child dances. Cathy suggested we do a group slow dance at the beginning of the reception which would allow us to dance with our parent among a larger group. That slow dance became a highlight for many and set the tone for the rest of the reception. This was the type of advice Cathy gave several times and our wedding was much better for it.
Incredible DJ: DJ Edmond crushed the music. We gave him a list of what guests had requested + several genres we loved dancing to. He took care of the rest. I had about a dozen of my guests come up to me to tell me how great the DJ was. We danced for 3 hours straight. I would pay cover to go to a club where he DJs.
Enthusiastic MC: Cathy brings ENERGY as an MC. It felt like she was an announcer of a live show. We were pleasantly surprised by this and added to our goal of making our wedding have a fun vibe to it. Additionally, Cathy is an officiant and was able to process our marriage certificate on the wedding day.
Flawless execution: Everything ran like clockwork. Equipment arrived on time, functioned perfectly, and the sound was excellent. No hiccups, no stress—just a seamless experience.
The list goes on but above are some of the highlights. I would recommend them to any one who wants a wedding where the vibe is energetic and fun!!

We used Exquisite's MC/DJ and photobooth services. We mainly worked with Cathy and Edmond and I have nothing but GREAT things to say. Actually the whole team was so wonderful including the equipment guys and Billy who helped us with our photobooth template. They made the whole process so smooth and stress free. They are professional and great at communicating with us throughout the planning. I absolutely LOVED Cathy! She really helped guide us on the day of the wedding to ensure the day went smoothly. We first met on Zoom and I felt like we vibed right away. She takes the time to get to know you making it comfortable talking to her! It ended up feeling like a friend was officiating our wedding. Our guests loved how she included a short and sweet (but not cringe) story of us during the ceremony that I thought we didn't need. She definitely is good at what she does with all the little details that we didn't think of. She kept our guests entertained throughout the night and made sure people got their group photos without wasting time because we told her we wanted more time to have fun! The DJ was also great, he played all the right songs to keep the dance floor busy. Everyone including us had such a great time making it a truly unforgettable night for all of us whether it was on the dance floor or at the photobooth. We were so glad we ended up using Exquisite and I HIGHLY recommend them. -

Cathy was very professional and we had a long initial meeting to work out the the general vibe that we would prefer for our wedding. She was very detail oriented and everything flowed very smoothly all throughout our wedding day. She was very fluent in Chinese and knew exactly how to work the Chinese crowd.
Edmond was a great DJ and I think many of our guests really like the songs he played including the ones that we didn't even pick out so he definitely knew how to read the crowd. -

We hired Cathy as our Emcee since we needed a bilingual speaker for our wedding. She did an amazing job coordinating with our DJ whom she never worked with before. She also really guided us on what would happen next and options we have on what we want to do the day off. The day of, everything went smoothly. She also was able to add things into the schedule that I didn't know I needed and was able to do, like a practice run of our coordinated first dance! Our family and friends praised her as well! She was clear and kept everyone moving during group photos and kept the party going as well! Couldn't recommend her enough! -

We highly recommend Exquisite NY, especially working with Cathy! We were looking for a Bilingual MC who could speak both English and Cantonese as well as officiate on our wedding day. One of our friends attended multiple weddings where Cathy was the MC and recommended us to go with Cathy. We couldn't have been more happy with our decision. From the planning to our wedding day, Cathy has been very kind, approachable, flexible, and understanding.
During our wedding ceremony, Cathy was able to keep it short, sweet, and touching, highlighting our background story well. During our reception, Cathy was able to keep the crowd engaged and her communication with our family was amazing. We had many family and friends complimenting how well Cathy was MCing the wedding. She was practically like our friend, constantly checking in on us to make sure we were doing well. She ensured we also got a chance to take a photo at our photobooth because she knows how hectic it can be on a wedding day.

The Exquisite team were awesome! We learned about ExquisiteNY at one of our friend's wedding and we were blown away by then and there was no contest when trying to find a MC/DJ for ourselves. Cathy and Billy were professional and quick to respond - they made every aspect of the process seamless for us.
Our friends and family praised how fun the party was and how quickly they managed to get folks onto the dance floor. Titus really got the crowd going and the DJ had a great setlist, even incorporating a good amount of songs that we had requested beforehand and the dance floor was never empty. Titus was our Canto/English MC which helped for our family members who knew minimal English. Titus was also great with ensuring timelines for the event, even with the the technical issue that arose.
Everyone loved the photobooth - there was rarely a time when someone wasn't taking photos. They had a lot of props and managed to fit a sizeable amount of people in one frame which was great considering the party size! The video montage was a hit and Cathy and team made the whole process super easy. -

We loved working with Cathy, Billy, and the entire Exquisite NY team! We first encountered them at our brother-in-law’s wedding, and were amazed by their skill and professionalism. Cathy, who is an excellent bilingual English and Cantonese MC, went above and beyond. She communicated regularly with us throughout our planning process, and helped provide several a la carte services (photobooth green screen for our own backdrops, and day-of coordination services) that made our special day exceptional. We did not have to worry about anything! Cathy translated the our siblings and groomsmen’s speeches; this took extra work with all of the specific idioms, but she made sure to faithfully render complex English structures into Cantonese (which helped make our Cantonese family members feel included)! Billy worked through several iterations of our photo booth to make sure that the pictures we wanted to use would work. The photo booth was a great hit: one of the many highlights of the party! The DJ was great: he and his assistant had a phenomenal playlist that kept the guests dancing all night long. We got so many compliments about how fun the wedding was, and how great the DJ was. He had the most excellent taste in wedding/dancing music; we loved every minute of it!
Exquisite NY has our absolute highest recommendation! They made our wedding very special indeed, and we loved working with them! Cathy is an exceptional bilingual MC: you should absolutely use Exquisite NY for your bilingual, cross-cultural wedding! -

From start to finish ExquisiteNY made our memorable event run smooth and flawlessly. Cathy was our MC and she was always prompt and very detail oriented. She walked us through every step along the way and made us feel very comfortable on what to expect. Always responsive with all our questions and willing to adjust and solve any custom requests we had. She was able to constantly think on her feet and constantly made decisions on the fly as if she was able to read our minds. Our maid of honor who could not make it from out of the country needed to provide a speech through zoom and Billy came prepared with all the logistics and covered all scenarios in case anything went wrong. The DJ kept the guests always on their feet the whole event, nobody wanted it to end. Overall, we are super happy we went with ExquisiteNY and we have the constant feedback from our guests to prove it --- even a month later the praise keeps coming in. Would definitely recommend them to anyone! -

We are so glad we found Exquisite for our wedding! They have a huge variety of services that they provide which makes it so much easier on us. We used their MC/DJ, officiant, and photo booth services. As a bride planning her wedding during covid times was not an easy task, but the Exquisite team made it a very smooth experience. Cathy was great at communicating with us throughout the process and sent us tips along with a checklist on what needs to be done. Titus was our officiant & MC who was accommodating with our requests throughout the night while Billy helped keep the guests entertained on the dance floor. The photo booth was a hit as well. My husband and I initially were going to get married in August 2020, but due to Covid-19, we had to reschedule. The Exquisite NY team was very accomodating and flexible when we were finally able to pick a new date. Titus and Billy met with us several times before our big day in June 2021 to make sure everything would be in place and run smoothly.
The Exquisite Team showed up at the venue prepared and made sure the whole night ran seamlessly. We chose to use their photobooth service, which I highly recommend as it is always a guest favorite. Titus was our MC and navigated through a few bumps with the events manager at the venue and made sure my husband and I had the least stressful experience possible (because let's face it, weddings are stressful for the bride and groom). Billy was our DJ and played great music throughout the night! Our guests LOVED the music and had an amazing time.

Had my pandemic zoom ceremony March 2021 and having Cathy from exquisite made the experience fun, memorable, and priceless.
Cathy is extremely orderly, she walked my wife and I thru all the steps from beginning to the end. Her style is one of empathy and understanding. She is always there asking all the detailed questions, some that we did not even think of, and always attentive to our needs. Cathy is an excellent officiant and mc due to her friendly and caring voice. The way she engages all the family friends and specials guests was endearing. She made everyone feel welcomed. Her bilingual skills was extremely impressive and made my parents feel honored and respected. I totally recommend Cathy to help make your wedding dreams come true.

My husband and I enjoyed working with ExquisiteNY. They always responded quickly whenever we had questions and they also made this beautiful montage for us. They were very accommodating whenever we wanted to make changes. They were fun to work with on the day of our wedding because they had such high energy and they knew how to work the crowd. We also had a smoke machine from ExquisiteNY that made our first dance magical. -

The whole package!
A bit of an overdue review as we got married on November 2019, but I have to say the Exquisite team really pulled through for us! We originally found them through our friends referral our our search for bilingual MC services. When we first met Cathy, we knew we found our match! She was so easygoing and you can tell she has a lot of experience as an MC. At the time we also did not have an officiant and to our delight, Cathy was also a tenured officiant. When she offered a bundle package with MC/officiant + DJ + photo booth , it was a no-brainer for us to book them... as long as Cathy was available to officiate and be our MC for the night! The final weeks leading up the wedding were hectic, but Cathy kept us on track through email correspondence. She helped with finalizing a schedule and timeline for our wedding day. We had so much fun on our wedding night and are so appreciative to the whole team at Exquisite for making our night so memorable. The photobooth set up produced high quality pictures and was such a hit with the guests! And the DJs kept our party going all night long. Our guests were raving about the whole night, which was only made possible by our amazing group of vendors, such as the Exquisite team! -

Definitely recommend Exquisite NY for your wedding. We had Cathy as our MC during our wedding in August. It was humid, it rained but Cathy definitely made everything better. She goes through every step and every detail with you up until the day of. Cathy went above and beyond the call of duty. Theres a lot of things that we were worried about leading up to the wedding, but we can confidently say Cathy was definitely not one of them. She was extremely respectful to our families and extremely helpful during our day as well. She kept the party going and had our guests engaged and entertained. We hired a different DJ and she gelled with him perfectly. Definitely use Cathy if you can! -

Billy, Titus and exquisite NY team helped us with our wedding back in September. My husband and i am very happy we found exquisite NY and the team! They were the best vendors from day one till the end!
Everything from the ceremony, DJ, MC, GIF booth and photo booth was on point. We loved our entertainment- music was popping like i was in a club, especially with the huge sound system and club changing lights. And i added dry ice to my first dance as husband and wife- it was magical and it felt like i was in a fairytale. i loved it and all my guests was wow by it too.
If you are looking for a vendor that truly cares about your needs for your wedding they provide an excellent service. I would highly recommend exquisite NY. Thank you again guys!! you guys are awesome!! -

Unlike many reviewers who sought out Exquisite for their bilingual capabilities, we discovered them through a friend's wedding where we had the pleasure of working with Cathy. We were so impressed that we chose Exquisite for our own wedding, utilizing their MC, DJ, and photo booth services. The photobooth was a great hit as well and it felt a lot more modern than other photobooths I've seen in the past.
DJ Edmond was also amazing, his energy and ability to keep the crowd engaged throughout the night were truly exceptional. What made the overall experience even more memorable was the warmth and professionalism of the entire team. From our very first interactions, they made us feel like longtime friends and that personal touch made a world of difference as we felt comfortable throughout the entire process. -

My wife was referred to ExquisiteNY from a friend of hers that used them for their wedding. We planned our wedding virtually from CA but Cathy was great to work with even from 3,000 miles away. She was really organized and put together a detailed itinerary which put us at ease (our wedding was VERY busy with multiple things going on). As our MC, she was easy going and made it comfortable for everyone to get on the dance-floor and have a good time during the reception. Billy, our DJ, did an awesome job at music selection and set it up in a way that made the night flow between dance music and slow songs. They were also able to accommodate an impromptu karaoke bit that one of my groomsman performed unannounced. They also provided us with our photo booth as well and it was a huge hit with our family and friends. Props included were great too. Overall, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for dj/photo booth services in the NYC area. -

We got married on 10/26/2019 and came across Exquisite through a recommendation of a friend and am grateful to have trusted that friend. Cathy, our MC, and her team were exceptional in making sure that we had one less thing to worry about on our big day! She's an experienced pro and knows what to expect and was easy to work with in keeping a good flow to the wedding so the guests could focus on having fun, while we were able to leave our attention to looking our best and spending time with loved ones.
The photo booth was a hit as John kept the line moving and did a great job being friendly, welcoming, efficient, and adept in timing the best snapshots our friends could ask for. The quality of the prints were great too along with the selection of props.
The music was great and even though we didn't have much time to dance ourselves, all the guests we had talked to since the wedding have said that they had a great time dancing!
If weddings weren't a one time thing, for us at least, we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!
