  Bill far exceeded our expectations. He was full of ideas and our photos don’t look too posed or contrived, which was important to us. The photos of both our engagement session and wedding are spectacular, and we get nothing but compliments when we show them off.

  We initially booked Exposed To Light in 2015 (i think), but had to move the wedding date out a couple times. Bill was so flexible with us when emailed him to switch dates. We did both an engagement shoot and the wedding itself, and it was awesome. I hate having my picture taken, but Bill's attitude and style made it really easy and we got some great pictures from the engagement shoot. When the wedding came, we already knew how Bill took pictures, so we weren't uncomfortable at all. The pictures from the wedding were gorgeous. Bill really has a great eye for detail. As far as getting the pictures after the engagement shoot and wedding, it was super fast!! The USB that you can get it adorable, and comes in a really nice case. Overall, we loved working will Bill. If we ever need another photographer, it will be Exposed to Light. He did such a fantastic job and really went above and beyond for us. Thanks Bill!!!

  My husband and I hired Bill as the photographer for our wedding last month, and we are so glad we did! He is so accommodating and easy to work with. Every e-mail we sent was answered incredibly quickly and Bill made the process of hiring and working with a wedding photographer totally stress-free. We are SO happy with how both our engagement photos and our wedding photos turned out and we would recommend Bill to any couple looking for a talented, kind, and all-around fantastic wedding photographer!

  My husband and I are thankful for the amazing photographs Bill captured during our engagement session and our wedding. Bill captured exactly what we were looking for, memories. There are so many pictures where he picked up on small moments that I think only my husband and I can truly appreciate. However, we also have many stunning shots, he got the perfect angle, lighting, and pose. Above all, what really impressed us was his laid back, relaxed approach.   Bill was wonderful to work with! He captured so many great moments and faces, and our photos are just beautiful. He was relaxed and unobtrusive, but knew when to crack a joke to ease any awkwardness during posed photos. He was responsive and helpful throughout preparing for the day, and had our photos back even quicker than the contract promised (just 3 weeks!). I've already recommended him to a recently engaged coworker!

  Bill and Deb with Exposed to Light Photography were an absolute dream to work with. From the moment my husband and I first saw their profile on Wedding Wire, we knew we wanted to go with them. Bill is so friendly and always responded quickly to us whenever we had questions. For both our engagement session and on our wedding day, Bill went above and beyond to make our day special. He captured every moment of our wedding day that I wanted, and more that I didn't even think to ask for. Our photos were edited and sent to us well within the timeframe and Bill even sent us a picture in advance to use on our Thank You cards! Exposed to Light Photography was the best choice we could have made for our wedding photographer. We would make the same decision again in a heartbeat!

  Bill was a true professional from the very beginning.   Bill was wonderful to work with! From the very first email he was responsive, professional, and strove to make our photos exactly what we wanted. Our engagement session was scheduled with only a week or so notice to squeeze in the last of the fall colors, and they turned out BEAUTIFULLY. I had a hunch after seeing only one wedding on his website that he was the photographer for us, and I was right. On our wedding day, he was very accommodating and worked in every request we made, and once again, the photos were wonderful! He worked all day in the rain to make sure we had all the photos we wanted, and we have gotten tons of compliments on our wedding and engagement photos. Also, Exposed to Light was much more affordable than comparable photographers, yet his photos are second to none. Thanks so much, Bill!

  Exposed to light photography was an amazing find!! I am so greatful I decided to do some searching online. Bill was great and I couldn't have asked for a better turn out of the photos from our special day. We wanted to save some money and Bill was so flexible and understanding about us making our own package and timeline.   Amazing photography. Bill is very good at capturing moments in time. I can see not only people I care about but I see who they are as a person captured in each photo. As I look through my wedding photos it's as if I'm looking at my entire wedding day. I chose the 8 hour (full day) option and I'm so glad I did. Bill was able to capture so many moments this way. I feel like I got the best value from having him for the longest period of time and he was flexible with our schedule and came early for my getting ready at the salon and stayed late into the reception. I would recommend him to a friend and recommend that they select the longest session he offers because it's the best value. Our pictures our beautiful and I can't wait to display them in our new apartment.   My husband Bobby and I would recommend Exposed to Light Photography for anyone who is looking to get any type of photographs done. Bill photographed our wedding and from the first time we met him we could tell how humble, personable he is and how much he truly loves his work of taking photographs. Bill responded to every email I sent the same day and he also catered to anything we asked for or wanted on our wedding day. He did everything graciously and did anything he could to make our day smooth and exactly what we wanted. On top of that we have a tremendous amount of amazing photographs captured from our day.   Highly recommend Bill Raab and Exposed to Light Photography for your engagement and wedding photos. He is excellent to work with and in no way makes you feel like another customer/client - he makes you feel like you are a part of his family and friends. Not only does he take each shot with time and consideration but he wants to make sure he can capture the absolute moment/emotion that is happening right at that time - which reflects in each photo in the end. We are so pleased and our house in now flooded with these wonderful photos from our engagement session as well as now our wedding. Many friends/family that are getting married in the future have asked who had taken our photos because of how excellent they all have turned out.   What can I say! Bill was everything we wanted in a photographer for our wedding. We just looked through all our photos, and they turned out just how we had hoped! My husband isn't the biggest fan of getting his picture taken, and Bill had just the right calm personality to make everything work out great. Bill clearly knows how to expertly capture moments even when we gave him very little guidance on what we wanted out of our wedding photos. Not to mention, our engagement photos also turned out wonderfully! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bill/Exposed to Light to friends or family. Thanks again Bill for everything!

  Bill was recommended to us by a friend and it was one of the easiest decisions we made when making those "life altering wedding decisions." Bill's style of capturing genuine moments as opposed to lining everyone up and posing was exactly what we wanted. Bill does an excellent job at capturing those moments and half the time we were left scratching our heads and wondering, "Wait, we don't remember him being there during this time?!" or "When did this happen??" Bill did an excellent job at not only capturing those moments but he also was extremely helpful throughout the process. He was super flexible and very easy to communicate with. We were also extremely impressed with how quickly we got our photos back!   Where do we begin? My husband and I met with Bill and his wife, Deb at a coffee shop prior to our wedding to look over his porfolio, discuss engagement/wedding photos and to get to know one another. We knew right off the bat, that Bill's style was exactly what we wanted! Not the originial "pose" and "shoot" but, "capturing love, honor, creativity, tears, and a little - okay, a lot of craziness"! Bill did not turn down any idea we had for photo ideas. He was open to trying new angles and even capturing my husband's dream photo idea - on a ferris wheel for our enagement session! With less than 7 months to plan a wedding, Bill was so reliable and encouraging with his prompt returns of emails, phone calls and texts. This made planning so easy. Our engagement photos were an excellent time to get to know Bill as a photographer and a person. His patience was endless, ideas open, and mind filled with creativity! On our wedding day, we were very busy meeting and greeting our guests but put so much trust in Bill. As we were unable to be at more than one place at a time - Bill had us covered. He captured tears, passion, creativity, and even the behind the scenes of such a special day. We would recommend Bill to any couple! He not only shows his passion for photography through his photos, but is reliable and kind-hearted. My husband and I are so pleased with his creativity, ableness to capture so many details, quality of photos and promptness of editing/photo return. Thank you Bill and for capturing so many moments, for becoming a friend, and for being so wonderful to our family and guests.

  Bill is an artist, hands down. He will listen to your ideas/wants and find a way to make every shot look magical. He was willing to go anywhere for us, very flexible on times, locations, number of shots, and was very professional and organized the entire time. He did an incredible job capturing the candid joy at our grooms dinner, and one of our favorite comments from wedding guests was that our photographer did a great job making it look like the most perfect beautiful sunny day, even though it was only 40 degrees for our outside ceremony! He withstood hours and hours in a cold and shivering environment and didn't ever have something to say about it. He is kind, encouraging, intelligent, creative, and most of all, makes you feel like the most beautiful and lucky couple. We strongly recommend Bill and Exposed to Light photography for your next event!

  Exposed to Light Photography is awesome! Not only is Bill an incredible photographer, he is also a wonderful person. He and his wife Deb, went above and beyond to get extraordinary photographs of our big day. Our pictures are incredible. I can't believe how gorgeous they turned out and the amazing moments that they were able to capture. They were professional, flexible, honest, comfortable, kind, and very generous with their time. Not only were the photos extraordinary, but I loved how straightforward and clear everything was. The price he gave us included everything we could have ever wanted and was incredibly reasonable. We received a very cool case with a flashdrive that included all the photos only a few weeks after the wedding, so we didn't have to pick and choose - we got everything!   My husband and I felt lucky that we had Bill as our photographer on our wedding day. Bill is a professional, considerate and dedicated photographer.
  
  In order to be better familiar with the couple, Bill's package included engagement session. We took that three weeks before our wedding and we think that really is a necessity as the more the Bill knows you two, the better pictures you will have. Our e-session with Bill left us a very good memory, and we were much impressed by Bill's professionalism.
  
  Bill also came to our rehearsal the day before the wedding to familiarize himself with the venue. On the wedding day, it was rainy, and Bill already prepared umbrellas for the wedding party. We were taken good care of by Bill and his photographer friend. Everything related to picture-taking was hassle-free that day just because Bill was there with us. His experience made me assured that every moment and detail would be captured perfectly.
  
  Without doubt, the moment we saw the pictures taken for us by Bill, we fell in love with them. His pictures worth thousands of word. Every picture is carefully retouched and edited to achieve best effect and every picture is natural, storytelling and memorable.
  
  I highly recommend every bride-to-be and groom-to-be to choose Bill. Taking him is like taking a trusted brand.

  Bill is such a pleasant and patient man to work with. He does amazing work and could not believe the great shots he got of our wedding. He really captured the entire day!!! Very highly recommended!

  I hardly ever give unequivocally positive feedback, but Bill really deserves it. When my then-fiance and I were looking for a photographer, we wanted professional-quality photographs that wouldn't drain our entire budget. Bill is not only an artistic photographer, but he's also extremely flexible and fun to work with. He's able to put people at ease and respond to the changing atmosphere of an event (e.g., sensing when we were stressed about a logistical issue and delaying formal photos until we had collected ourselves). From start to finish, he put in far more time than we had expected.
  
  I would recommend Bill to anyone getting married or looking for an event photographer. His portfolio speaks for itself, and my husband and I can speak to every other quality.

  Bill is an excellent photographer! He went above and beyond to make sure we got some beautiful pictures from our big day. I have also used Bill to do family photos, he works very well with kids. Will definitely be utilizing Exposed to Light in the future!

  Bill Raab (Exposed to Light Photography) photographed my sister's wedding last year, and we loved his photography (and him!) so much, he photographed my own wedding as well. He was a breeze to communicate with (both over the phone and email) and he was a dream to work with leading up to the wedding and then on the day of. Bill is a truly gifted photographer with a warm soul. I give him my highest recommendation!

  Our experience with Bill Raab of Exposed to Light Photography was more than excellent right from the start. From the first time we met Bill, we knew we had found a photographer who was genuinely interested in getting know us and our personalities to better help him capture our big day! Bill took additional time to drive an hour each way to meet with us a few weeks prior to our wedding to scope out the church and locations for photo opportunities. He also attended our rehearsal. He was quick to respond to our many questions and offered lots of wonderful suggestions. Both our engagment & wedding images turned out better than we could have hoped and we'll cherish them for years to come. We couldn't be more thrilled to have found such an amazing photographer (and friend!).

  Bill did a fantastic job on our wedding pictures. He always responded to me very quickly, before and after our special day. He volunteered to meet with me at the ceremony site to choose some setting locations and also volunteered his time to attend our rehearsal (at no extra charge) to get a feel for how the ceremony would go.
  
  His pictures were top quality and he sent us a beautiful disc case with all of the pictures for us to keep.
  
  I would highly recommend him to any bride.

  Terrific photographer! Nice, not pushy, very easy to get along with and the photos were amazing. What we liked best is that they are very natural, and he doesn't do too many posed type photos. Plus, he stayed after and was always responsive to our emails and communication. Exposed to Light=great wedding photographer!

  Bill is super flexible and easy to work with! Would recommend to anyone and everyone I know!! The pictures turned out fabulous! If his wife is available, she comes with as an extra hand as well. Super prepared-- his camera broke at my wedding, and he had a backup one on him so there were no photographic opportunities missed! All around great people to work with. Would definitely use again!

  I had a small wedding where I wanted an amazing photographer that I could afford. Bill was the perfect option! I was able to get beautiful photographs for a reasonable price. He was detailed about making sure he knew what would happen that day, like the timeline and important people to shoot. He even went to our wedding site beforehand to check the layout and planned what would be nice formal-pic locations. My husband and I felt extremely comfortable with him there as our photographer as we are not always comfortable in front of cameras. He even got my husband to smile in photos which never happened before! When we got the photos after our wedding day we were so amazed at how beautiful they were. He captured important moments and was able to convey the beauty and warmth of that day. The photos were elegant and artistic and I would definitely recommend him!

  Bill was easy and great to work with. He put in so much work into taking photos of us and our guests nonstop for 2 hours. Our engagement and wedding photos turned out great and how we wanted them to be. If you want a relaxed and natural experience, Bill is your photographer.

  Bill was awesome!! He took the time to meet with us and answer all my questions and concerns with my wedding pictures; which is true I had many. The quality of the photos were spectacular! I had a big list of pictures that I wanted which was different from Bill's usual love of capturing candid shots ...and I got the best of both :). Everyone who see's our pictures loves them. He's really understanding, down to earth, kind, genuine, and hard working!! His friend came along as well and both of them stayed all day which was sooo incredible. I truly have my whole day to look back and relive. Thank you Bill and Scott!!

  Bill is a really great guy! Next time I would come with a list of shots I wanted to have taken or some idea of creative photos to take, because we sort of blanked on what to do next.

  As someone who dabbles in photography, I probably put a lot more thought and time into choosing a photographer than most brides. I spent hours scouring Facebook and wedding sites like The Knot.com in search of the perfect photographer in our price range.
  
  After narrowing my list down to two photographers, I ended up choosing Bill and Exposed to Light because not only were his images beautiful, but his photos didn't seem staged to look like something in a magazine spread. His images seemed like REAL, authentic moments, which is what I wanted.
  
  For our wedding, Bill went above and beyond the call of duty, taking photos at our rehearsal dinner in order to get a feel for the space, and even driving me and the Maid of Honor from the church to the site of the "first look" with my husband.
  
  When we got the photos back, it was so much fun to go back and relive those moments. The photos truly tell the story of our day. Thank you so much!!!

  We would definitely recommend Exposed to Light Photography. Bill went above and beyond all expectations and gave us a final product that we absolutely love. He captured so many great candid moments, and he was very easy to work with.

  Bill and Deb showed up before us and were ready to go when were and expertly handled everything we asked them to do. The photos turned out excellent and captured our wedding day beautifully.
