I really dont know where to start this review as it is my most favorite review of my entire wedding to write. Janet and her team were absolutely 100% amazing. She is a kind, generous, warm person who is also an amazing flower designer and event planner. She took the inspiration photos and flowers I wanted and made my wedding exactly as I wanted it. She also coordinated well with my other staff and spent countless consultations on the phone with me giving her expert opinions and told me where to splurge vs. save which was so important to us and something neither of us knew. She did everything absolutely to the best of the best. I cannot recomend her more. I wish Wedding Wire had 100 stars as that is what she deserves. I would hire her immediately! She and her husband are so very much in love and love is what she delivers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! -

Janet was the most amazing person to work with. She exceeded my expectations. I was so happy and pleased with the way my wedding turned out. I would recommend her to every bride. She was attentive and responsive, she made my wedding a dream! I'm so happy to have found her for flowers and wedding planning. She was absolutely amazing !! -

Lily Sent on 06/23/2018I don't understand why reviews don't have MILLIONS of stars because that is what Exotic Flores Designs deserve. Janet is the BEST, and if you are having a wedding, YOU NEED to contract her. She is the brain, master, and genius of her company, and with the help of her husband Rafa, they make dreams come through. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable and accomodating. In our cause she went above and beyond all our expectations, and simply read my daughter's heart!. She is so intuitive that, with a simply explanation of what the bride had in mind, she was able to present exactly what she wanted and MORE. The decorations were exquisite and made the room look like a Disney fairytale. Quick on her feet, she is able to react to any last minute requests, or inconvenience. Her attention to details is uncanny and she makes sure that everything is more than perfect. Actually at time, I had to tell her that it was fine, because she kept working on the details until exhaustion. Every flower, every favors set up, every table setting, the ceremony and the overall decoration was just MAGNIFICENT!! If are looking for entertainment for your event, LOOK NO FURTHER! Contact them NOW and leave the rest to this master of designs. Janet and Rafa, I can never thank you enough for making my baby's wedding such an spectacular event. You exceeded all my expectations. You went above an beyond to make sure it was MAGICAL, and magical it was. You will forever be part of our memories for such special event. The wedding wouldn't have been the same without you. Janet went above and beyond to ensure our daughters wedding was her dream come true. The decorations were beautiful. The flowers were real and smelled good. The brides bouquet had diamond studs in them-beautiful. Janet assisted with hotel and catering coordinator, vendors follow up and provided with with continued side by side planning. Janet was a breath of fresh air for our destination wedding planning.
Janet assisted with decorating the bride and grooms room with long stem roses, champagne, rose petals, freshly dipped chocolate covered strawberries and a yankee candle. Priceless service.
We are so grateful and extremely pleased with the service, design and work we received from Janet.
Because of Janet's relationship with La Concha, this allowed the family to relax while Janet assisted with the wedding ceremony and reception planning. We could not have had a more pleasant and outstanding experience.
Our daughter and husband were extremely pleased on their wedding day.
There were many compliments from our wedding guest.

Rafael Sent on 02/17/2016Mrs. Montañez was very helpful. Her knowledge and courtesy was a pinnacle on making a decision about with whom I would want to work for my birthday. She provided endless options and catered to my needs. She understood my unique style and taste and the event turned out just as I imagined it. Pricewise, SHE DEFINITELY understands the word Budget! She makes fantasies happen without having to sacrifice anything.
I'm looking forward to working with her again. -

I booked Janet as my florist, which included flowers for the wedding arch, bouquets, boutonnieres, flower petals for the aisle, and table decorations. She is very responsive, and involved throughout the entire process. This included the day of our wedding, which included calling, texting, and talking to me during the festivities. It was somewhat frustrating that she was asking so many of the same questions over and over and commenting to the groom and guests while making suggestions that were unnecessary. For example, when I was about to toss the bouquet, Janet interrupted to tell me to use a single rose instead (I did not.) We also paid an extra fee for simple frames that were to be set on the table. These had quotes on them and look better standing up, but Janet did not want them "to break" so she had them laying flat. She also called my phone several times while I was getting ready. The last call was to tell me to call her before I head down because she had to pick up the flower petals in the aisle so that "they don't die from the heat". When I called five minutes later she did not pick up. Ultimately, I was sad to see the bouquet had droopy leaves, but at that point all I could do was pray that the ceremony would go well.
It is unfortunate that the last part I remember from my wedding, is Janet chasing after me and calling my name, because we did receive so many good compliments about the flower decor. She was also clever by utilizing the flowers from the arch to transfer them over to our table after the ceremony. The day before our wedding, Janet took the time to meet with us in person and introduce us to her husband and granddaughter who are very sweet and helped out on the wedding day.
Janet seemed to consistently remind me of details that she thought were required, which was a good and bad thing. She did call my attention to some things I did not think of before, like calling to let me know one of the flower colors that was on the contract would not go well with the selection I had shown her, which was a good catch. Her main concern was that I did not have a wedding coordinator and reminded me of it often, which I did not want to use since we had no more than 18 guests. Overall, I am grateful that everything went according to plan and that everyone loved the decor. -
