Ali is wonderful to work with. He did some of our Ceremony decor, all of our Reception decor; chair covers, draping, centerpieces, etc., and all of our wedding party flowers too. Everything was gorgeous! He is easy to work with and his pricing is great too. We received so many compliments on our Wedding, we couldn't be happier. -

We were very pleased with all of the flowers Excellent Designs provided. The arch they built and decorated was beautiful. Not only did they provide gorgeous flower decorations they also custom did our bouquets when I asked for them to add a little extra bling if I provided it. They did willingly. They also decorated our ring bearer's cat stroller with flowers and jewels. Everyone was very impressed! -

I was referred by a friend to Ali at Excellent Designs. Ali was soo helpful and responsive to all my many questions and calls (sorry). We visited his showroom a few months before our wedding and immediately placed an order for our wedding that took place this month. He honestly has the best prices and value by far. We are soo happy we ordered with him. Please do not hesitate to check out what they can do for you. You wallet and budget will thank you! -

Perfect day thanks to Excellent Designs
Ali of Excellent Designs took great care of my daughter and I, and walked us through everything. He made the day so special that even the staff at the venue asked us who did the flowers and other stuff as our wedding was one of the best they had seen at the venue (which the venue has as a ton of weddings). Ali's staff pull everything off in a very short time for set up (per our venue's restrictions), yet they made it look effortless. Thank you so much Ali and your staff for an amazing day!!!! I would highly recommend Excellent Designs !!! -

Excellent designs is one of the most professional vendors that I had the pleasure of working with during the planning process for my October 2018 wedding. Ali was extremely helpful, friendly, and just really great to work with. I told him exactly what I wanted, and he delivered my vision 100%. It was so easy to order all of the arrangements and extras for our big day. I was so impressed with every single arrangement that Ali and his wife delivered. I literally couldn’t have imagined more perfect flowers in my dreams! I even got a little tipsy during the wedding and made a bridesmaid photograph me with one of my table arrangements. LOL! Aside from their professionalism and quality of work, they also are very affordable and will not break the bank. They are a one stop shop when it comes to rentals and florals, the more work you give them the bigger discount you will get! -

Hannah Sent on 10/09/2018EXCELLENT indeed. I found them for my sister's wedding back in 2014 and was delighted to find out that they serve the entire SoCal area for my Mt. Palomar Winery wedding in Temecula on Sept 03. Ali is an absolute pleasure to work with and his prices are out of this world unbelievable, especially when you see his work. There was zero hesitation the moment we saw the quote, you simply can't beat it. Everyone complimented our flower arrangements and both my husband and I couldn't be more pleased the wedding day itself. It is clear that Ali has an eye for designs and knows exactly what you're going for. All we did was told him our theme, and showed him a few pinterest pics for reference and he delivered beyond our expectations. He was always communicative throughout the whole wedding planning period and very transparent about everything, even providing useful tips and suggestions on what would work best for our wedding venue. The only one sad thing was that none of us foresaw the possibility of the wind being extra strong that day which flipped half of our drapes to behind the ceremony arch but the hanging flower flats still made it look fab. I had to photoshop the drapes back in from pre-ceremony pictures lol. So brides who are planning to use arch drapes, definitely do discuss ways to hold it down in the event of strong winds :)

We shopped around about 6 different florists but after speaking with Ali, we knew we had found the right one. His knowledge of the different flowers (especially the ones that are in season) was crucial in capturing the look we wanted. Communicating was always effortless and when we showed up on the day-of the wedding, we were in complete awe at all the flowers and many people came up to us and complimented us on the style and sheer number of flowers everywhere. We couldn't have been happier working with Excellent Designs and I look forward to the opportunity of recommending them to someone else! Thank you for helping make our wedding magical!

Cynthia Sent on 02/27/2018Ali was amazing to work with. He was very professional and you can tell he knows what he's doing which for us made it so much more relieving. He did our bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, chivari chairs, and uplights. Everything was beautiful. We wanted simple for our centerpieces and did the 3 cylinder vase with orchids inside and floating candles. we received many compliments on how elegant it looked. The setup was done on time and for the breakdown the guys waited until everyone was done and did the breakdown. Ali was very pleasant to work with and he has amazing prices and a lot of things to offer. I would recommend Excellent Designs to anybody.

Ali and his team did my arch for the gazebo, bridesmaid bouquets, bridal bouquet, boutenierres, corsages, center pieces, and sweetheart table arrangement. First of all, I have never met a business owner who worked so kindly with me on the budget. Ali made so many tweaks for me and had so many money-saving ideas so that I could get exactly what I wanted, with what I had. Ali then arranged with my mom to pick up ribbon from her at the flower market. When we figured out I had picked bright white instead of ivory, mom and Ali arranged to switch out ribbon. Ali and his wife emailed me clarifying a few flowers we had talked about because they were unsure if what I wanted would make my bridal bouquet stand out from the others. Ali and the team worked with me on what I wanted for the gazebo and sweetheart table arrangements and transfer. Most importantly and special to me though, was what my dad described to me after the wedding. He arrived early to the wedding and sat in the guest chairs in front of the gazebo. Ali and the team showed up, bulk flowers and wire in hand, with the photo that I had provided to Ali. He showed it to the team, pointed to the gazebo and explained, and the team got to work. Ali came back later, took out the photo, pointed, and the team rearranged the arch display. This happened a few more times until every hand-crafted piece was perfectly splayed from the arch. It turned out PERFECTLY, exactly as I had always imagined and exactly like the photo I gave to Ali. I really could not believe it and am so grateful!

Sierra Sent on 09/19/2017Excellent Designs did the florals for our wedding, and I wish I could give them a 6/5, yup.. they're that good! From each of our coordination meetings with Ali, to the day of set up and floral design, Excellent Designs blew us away. I know little to nothing about flowers, but Ali was incredibly helpful with looking at my pinterest inspiration photos and breaking it down for me so the boquets and ceremony decorations were exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend! -

Megan Sent on 05/01/2016We got married at Green Gables Estates, and Excellent Designs was one of their recommended vendors, and Ali did not disappoint! We ordered all of our flowers here - 4 bouquets, 7 boutonnieres, 3 corsages, 20 centerpieces, and 1 large ceremony arrangement, all for $1,000.00. You really won't find lower prices for flowers in San Diego, and our flowers were absolutely stunning. We had a fantastic experience! -

Their flowers and other decorations were extremely beautiful and elegant, but what impressed me the most was Ali's customer service. He was so friendly and professional that it almost made me cry. I wish there were more business owners like him in this world. To make a long story short, Excellent Designs is the best wedding decor provider I've ever worked with in my entire life. -

Ali had never done one before but was so accommodating and ordered one special for us. He also made it very easy to order all other flowers and linens through one vendor! It really made the decor something to see, and all our guests couldn't stop complimenting us!

Brittany Sent on 04/30/2018If you're not worried about everything looking exactly how you are envisioning and all you care about is that it looks good, I highly suggest you go with Excellent Designs. They didn't quite deliver what I was asking for & some of the flowers weren't fully blossomed but it still turned out absolutely beautiful. Their prices are hard to beat and they're friendly and pretty easy to work with! They provided ceremony flowers and petals for the aisle, all bouquet's (5), boutonnieres(6), corsage's (2), some pipe & drape, up-lights, & some orchids to go on the cake and my center pieces.
