He tells you exactly how the day is going to go and takes all the stress right off of you! He is amazing at what he does and you can tell he absolutely loves it! He worked so well with my wedding coordinator my entire day went absolutely perfect! He was very outgoing and played all the right types of music for our guests while keeping to our song list. We did not want the night to end! -

From ceremony to reception, whole event flowed well because of him. The energy he brought during the reception was better than any wedding DJ we've seen before. I highly recommend Excellence Entertainment DJs if you want to have a fun, high energy wedding. -

I just want to say that when you are choosing a DJ, please remember that a DJ does more than play music -- he is also in charge of the flow, the ambiance, and character of your reception. And Matt Sway did all this for us. Choose him. -

Matt was amazing from our initial phone conversation through the end of our reception. Everything was just perfect. He was amazing, completely the life of the party and got all of our guests up on the dance floor! All of our guests were raving about the songs he played and how fun he was overall. Matt was a great DJ for our wedding. How do I know? Because I never saw him set up, never saw him clean up afterward, and not a hitch in his performance during the party. Excellence Entertainment was an 'excellent' choice. -

We had the BEST time with Matt at Excellence Entertainment for our wedding. He was so helpful, easy to work with, and really set the mood for our wedding. I had MANY compliments on the music from an array of people. The coolest part was - we gave him a couple genres and an idea of the ambiance we were hoping for, and he chose the music from there! I had people of all ages telling me how good the music was! Thanks a million Matt for all you did to make our day so special!! It wouldn't have been the same without you! -

I cannot say enough nice things about Matt and Excellence Entertainment. He was so fun to work with and professional. I was hesitant to hire a DJ because it always seems kind of fake, like who is this random guy acting like he knows this couple? It was the exact opposite with Matt. Even though we only met twice, I really felt like he connected with us on a personal level. At the reception, he took over order of events and we didn't have to worry about a thing. He ran the show and reminded us when we should get things started, he was flexible with timing, and he played all our requests. Matt even took our picture and posted a congrats photo online! He's the kind of guy that makes you feel like you've known him forever. On a professional level, he was A+++. Our guests had a wonderful time dancing-he knew when things were dying down and how to liven the crowd back up. He is as far from a "playlist" as you can get and really showed us his value as a DJ. He isn't one of those make a list and relax kind of DJs, he is very much in tune with the crowd and the bride and groom. He even put a little mixing into songs and made them extra fun. If you hire Excellence Entertainment, you will NOT be disappointed. What a great guy and what a great experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Matt. You are wonderful! -

Excellent DJ! I spoke with Matt about hiring a wedding coordinator and he assured me that he would make sure our reception ran smoothly without one. He sure came through on his promise and our reception couldn't have gone smoother. Matt knows how to coordinate large events and does an excellent job. I highly recommend! -

Matt, our DJ, was super intentional about making sure our wedding day was perfect. You begin by filling out a survey, answering questions about music preferences, what you like and what you don't. Also, what must be played and what you don't want to hear at all. Matt was very attentive to our wants and he sent out several sample playlists prior to our wedding day making sure we were trekking together. He was on time to the venue and couldn't have been nicer or more of a help. It was an excellent experience and I refer them to anyone who asks for DJ advice. -

Matt Sway was awesome. He was very accommodating for our ceremony and was able to play acoustic guitar for us, even learning a few songs I wanted to hear. It was a beautiful backdrop to the wedding and I cannot thank him enough for how amazing of a job he did. He met with me a couple times before the wedding via phone (as I traveled a lot and couldn't meet in person) and talked through everything, suggested a timeline, and good songs to keep the wedding reception going smoothly. He wasn't overly talkative - just enough for the important announcements and getting all the wedding party announced in. Very professional and just a down right nice guy. I am super picky about music and gave him a list of music I'd like to hear. He stuck to it for the cocktail hour and dinner, and played everything that was a must play, but deviated quite a bit for the dancing. I know I don't always like the popular music that everyone else likes, so I was good with it, and hoping to get more folks on the dance floor, but I think ultimately I was victim of a nice outdoor venue and gorgeous weather (I am not going to complain about that though!) keeping people off the dance floor. He certainly tried though! -
