The best part of our wedding!
Eric of Evolving Events NYC is truly amazing to work with. I went to a wedding years and years ago and he was the Dj and i knew that one day if i ever got married he would be who i used. He had everyone dancing all night to hit after hit. Not only did he go above and beyond to figure out our style and the type of Music we wanted at our wedding but he also made custom mixes of metal/ dance songs for my husband to incorporate his rocker side without interrupting the upbeat vibes of the wedding. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night at our wedding too. He does whatever he can for his clients. Even after the wedding one of our guest wanted his mix/mash up of a certain song he made/played and he sent it to them instantly. Communication was easy, he answered almost immediately always and if he didn’t right away he got back in a reasonable time frame. The day of the wedding he was calm through all the hiccups we had (because of our venue) and professional. He helped with the timeline for the wedding day, rolled with any of our requests like traditional Georgian dancers and Russian/Armenian music, to handing out tambourines, to creating a poll for us so our friends and family could vote on our first dance, to playing dancehall to disco, to metal to pitbull and everything in between. His staff was so cooperative, friendly and fun. Pricing was extremely reasonable with many options and add ones. We added a photo booth, cloud dancing, cold sparklers and more. He arrived early and stayed late. I strongly would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. Evolving Entertainment was incredible. If you’re looking for a Dj that is nice, easy to communicate with, fair priced, will go above and beyond for you, will play any genre of music, will keep your guests on the dance floor all night- look no further. We hired Eric as a vendor and ended the night with a friend. -

We had the absolute pleasure of having Eric as our wedding DJ, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, his communication was outstanding—always responsive, professional, and genuinely interested in understanding our vision for the day.
On the day of the wedding, we had to make a last-minute change of plans due to unexpected rain. Eric handled it all with total grace and flexibility. He moved locations without missing a beat and helped keep the atmosphere light and joyful, making sure our guests stayed focused on the celebration, not the weather.
The music was everything we hoped for and more. Eric’s ability to seamlessly mix songs kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night. He read the room perfectly and played something for everyone—whether it was a throwback for the older crowd or current hits that had everyone singing along. The flow was flawless, and the vibe never dipped.
And we can’t forget the photo booth! It was such a hit with our guests and gave us so many fun, candid memories to look back on. The photos captured genuine moments of joy, laughter, and celebration—and we’re so grateful to have them.
Eric’s talent, professionalism, and calm presence truly set him apart. He played such a big role in making our day stress-free, fun, and unforgettable. We honestly can’t recommend him highly enough! -

EENYC packed the dance floor and nailed all of our A/V needs for our wedding ceremony and reception at the Prospect Park Picnic House!
Planning calls were pleasant and seamless. The online client portal is convenient and organized. The day-of went without a hitch. Everything showed up on-time and sounded crisp. They even worked with us to incorporate some home-baked musical elements into our reception. We can't recommend EENYC highly enough, they are a joy to work with and truly made our special day extra magical! -

Eric and Jimmy were the really the dream team. We continue to get compliments on both MCing and DJing for our wedding day and we couldn't be happier. All I wanted was for folks to have a blast (sweat out hair and never leave the dance floor) and they delivered. We gave them the general vibe and they were able to run with it which was such a relief. Also perfect mix between being super responsive when questions arose and generally very low key when speaking to them. They were the best and made everything feel seamless. -

I couldn’t have asked for a better entertainment group. Eric and Evolving Events NYC are truly the best of the best and they had our reception running smoothly all night. Before the reception even happened Eric and Jumpin Jay were able to make the whole process simple by helping us break it down and figure out what song should go where and how the whole night should be played out. From the start of the reception they were able to help get everyone excited from introductions to even the last song. Eric was truly able to make everyone happy and energetic all night and helped make sure there was never a low light in the night.
The Music selection was perfect, it was everything we asked for and more. Jumpin Jay made sure to somehow fit in all our requested tracks with seamless transitions into all the music which was super impressive. Eric and Jay were the nicest guys and made sure all night to keep checking in with my wife and I to make sure we were having a great time and to make sure our families were having a great time as well. At the end of the night everyone couldn’t stop telling us how great of a time they had and how they didn’t want to get off the dance floor all night. I would highly recommend Evolving Events NYC!

First of all - Evolving Events was there for our Wedding and now our Babyshower - we cannot see ourselves having any other DJ for all of our celebrations.
From start to finish, our baby shower was an amazing, and it's all thanks to our amazing DJ! They truly set the perfect tone for the event, blending upbeat music with melodies that kept everyone on their feet and smiling. Their ability to read the crowd and adjust the music accordingly was impressive, ensuring that guests had a fantastic time.
Not only was the music top-notch, but the DJ's professionalism and attention to detail were also outstanding. Their energy and enthusiasm were contagious, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration that will be remembered by all who attended.
Our guests couldn't stop raving about how much fun they had, and we know that the DJ played a huge role in making our baby shower a memorable experience for everyone. A must hire!! They were so professional, accommodating, on point and reasonable. They were recommended by my friend. she had them play at her 50th Birthday bash and they were amazing. I knew I had to have them for our wedding. Our guests were thrilled with the music selection. The venue told us that this was a wedding reception that she was amazed at how many guests were dancing all throughout the night. I highly recommend them. -

Evolving Events NYC and Eric is a one stop shop for everything needed when I was planning my wedding. They do so much more than just DJ/Entertainment. You need help finding vendors for make up/hair, photography/video, officiant, food/alcohol, venues, anything and everything! It was without a doubt that I needed Eric and Evolving Events NYC to handle our wedding! I did not have to worry about a single thing having Eric in charge of so much! I can't wait to have him help me with my future life events. There is no one else that will give you the individual service needed for these great events! Totally worth EVERY Cent! -

Made our day everything we hoped and dreamed of !
Words cannot begin to describe how grateful we were to have had Eric there on our wedding day.
From the very beginning Eric was there for us no matter what we needed. His questionnaire helped us immensely to be able to really visualize our wedding day and made it feel much more manageable despite not having a wedding planner. During our planning phone calls Eric helped us plan so many other aspects that we hadn't even thought about. His extensive experience in the field is so apparent in every detail.
Not only did the setup look incredible but he also was a rock for us the day of. When I was feeling extremely nervous about the day he gave us advice that calmed our nerves and really made sure the whole event ran smoothly. Any request we had he was able to fulfill to perfection. He went above and beyond for us in ways I never would have dreamed of and I truly was able to let go and relax because I knew we chose a team of professionals that would take care of our day.
Once we got over the initial jitters we felt so safe just letting go. I cannot emphasize enough how pivotal Eric was in making sure our day went as smoothly and as amazing as it did.

You MUST book Evolving Events NYC
Without question the best decision we made -Eric and crew were beyond professional. They made us feel like family, listened to our “vision” and even helped us with last minute details that we had missed (week of helped us get pipe and drape in our ceremony space!). Eric kept the night moving on schedule, the energy was incredible and the music was absolutely perfect for our mixed generational crowd. We had some amazingly memorable moments dancing with our friends that we will NEVER forget. Our photo booth was incredible as well. My only wish is we could do it all over- Evolving Events would be there. Thank you! -

I first met Eric about 5 to 6 years ago at a friend's wedding that he was Emceeing and DJing. Ever since then, our go-to for any events that we hold is Eric and his crew. Our organization holds holiday parties annually with about 400+ in attendance every year and we always know that Eric and Evolving Events would have everyone on the dance floor having the times of their lives. Anyone that has a wedding, sweet sixteen, or any type of party, I refer them over to Eric without a blink of an eye. They really are the best at what they do. Thanks Evolving Events! 🙏 -

Epic Party
It was such an AMAZING experience!!! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The DJ was great! The MC was engaging and so super entertaining! It was a great choice and EVERYONE at our party had a BLAST!!!! even now the guests are still buzzing about it!!! We also enjoyed the cool Manhattan style Red Carpet photo booth with the props! Being able to print out the pictures was perfect and they were great quality. To add to it we got ALL of the pictures at the end of the evening which was perfect to create virtual album as a keepsake. To Eric and his wife Zully I can't thank you enough for such an AWESOME experience! -

Eric and his team did such an amazing job for our wedding! He kept everyone dancing and he knew the right songs to play to make sure everyone had fun. I never told Eric this when I spoke to him but it’s pretty difficult to get my husband and I up and dancing and they did just that! I had so much fun and they played all the right songs. Eric was extremely nice and personable. He gave us tips to make sure the day went by as smoothly as possible for us and to ensure that we had time to eat. He made our wedding so much fun and we’re still getting compliments over a week later. He did an incredible job making our reception fun. Eric and his team are amazing! -

I got married on September 13th and have not stopped receiving compliments on the entertainment! EvolvingEventsNYC provided us with the most memorable night! The photo booth was amazing from the props, to the quality of the photos, all the way to the amazingly helpful attendant! Our dance floor? Packed the whole night! There was a great variety in music genre's and the DJ kept it fun, classy, and only a lil' trashy (when requested by me). When I booked, Eric was very detailed with me and my husband and always available when we had questions. He stayed true to the DJ questionnaire that was filled out prior to the event...BUT...also still confirmed the details with us on the day of. Every person from EvolvingEventsNYC was attentive and solely interested in maintaining our happiness and satisfaction. I would absolutely work with them again and recommend them to my family and friends! -

Amazing!! (8/1/19)
This summer we hired Evolving Events NYC as host, DJ, and Photo-booth technician for our wedding. Eric and his team surpassed our expectations in every way. They were incredibly professional, patient and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The DJ kept the party going and kept all of our guests highly engaged with great song selections. Eric was very attentive and didn’t miss a beat. He worked with the venue to ensure that the ceremony and reception flowed smoothly and the way we envisioned. The photo booth was awesome and the technician kept up with the constant flow of guests trying to take pictures. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to entrust on this very special day. I would highly recommend Evolving Events NYC and will definitely be calling on them for future events. -

Everyone with EvolvingEventsNYC did so amazing and kept our family and friends on the dance floor the entire night! I swear....people barely sat down for their meals! Our venue had to improvise and brought out dessert to the dance floor! We had family and friends dancing throughout dinner and all other events with his music selections! Eric really knows how to get the party going and how to continue the party from start to finish. We had such an amazing time with him and all his staff. We continue to get compliments from our guests and have given several referrals to our engaged friends for their weddings ! We’ve even gotten requests for the playlist that the DJ played from. Eric hooked us up with an amazing DJ booth set up, Smokey bubbles, huge sparklers for the dance floor and an awesome photo booth with props. He made our night so perfect and special from the ceremony, cocktail hour and all the way through the reception. If you’re looking to have a good time at your wedding or next event I would highly recommend Evolving Events NYC!
