We absolutely loved working with Diego! He gave us exactly what we wanted for our wedding dance floor - he mixed our custom playlist, played the "must-play" songs, and stayed away from the "do not plays". The dance floor was one of the major highlights of our wedding weekend and he made that happen for us. On top of that, Diego was always super friendly and easy to work with - couldn't recommend him enough!

Our wedding was at Blue Venado at seaside, and I can honestly say that having Diego as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made. I’m extremely particular about music and I spent a lot of time researching and comparing DJs in the area. While Blue Venado had their own in-house vendor options, Diego stood out to me the most.
From the start, Diego was incredibly patient and understanding. I had a LONG list of requests and questions, and he always made time to make sure everything felt right. I think I’m probably the pickiest bride he’s ever worked with when it comes to music LOL. He was so kind throughout the process and never made me feel like I was asking too much. He truly listened and brought our vision to life. He even coordinated with our live saxophonist and did his own personal rapping to our cake-cutting song which turned into an epic moment!
Throughout the night, he added just the right amount of MC-ing to keep the energy high. I love when DJs love what they do and vibe to the music they play and you can tell he is passionate about his job and has fun. He mixed our custom playlist flawlessly-including Polish music, which he handled beautifully. We had a great mix of throwbacks for all generations and closed the night with an incredible mix of hip hop and EDM that kept the dance floor full until the very end.
Music is such a vital part of any celebration -i think it makes ALL the difference. Thanks to Diego, our dance floor was packed all night long, and the night was truly unforgettable. Many of our guests shared that this was the most fun wedding they ever been to!
I am forever grateful for Diego and his team and all their amazing work to make our wedding perfect!

Best DJ in Playa / Cancun - you will not regret
We hired Diego to be our DJ in Playa Del Carmen, I am Scottish and my wife is Mexican. We gave him a very detailed playlist with songs from Scotland, Mexico and a mixture. He was incredible and played everything we sent him. He even helped us organize with a cameo appearances when my groomsmen came out in Lucha Libra masks to the song “Shots” by LMFAO with tequila bottles.
He took requests all night, even allowed my brother to do La Bamba karaoke!
We live in USA and were worried as we had to plan from here, but Diego got on zoom and worked with us, he even played a song with our BAGPIPER!
Incredible DJ and great person, if you are thinking of hiring him …. Don’t think, just do it!
He also got some extra few videos on his phone which he sent us!

My husband and I recently got married, and had the best time of our lives on our wedding day!! That is partly due to the phenomenal skills and entertainment provided by Diego Alvarado! We knew while planning our wedding that the DJ/MC would definitely determine the vibes for the night, and so we were VERY particular about who we chose. We gave Diego playlists with songs that we liked, and he was able to deliver! He also incorporated his own songs that blended amazingly with ours'. Each song flowed smoothly into the next, and we and our guests were dancing all night long! He also has great MC skills and his energy is unmatched. Amazing Experience!!
We had an amazing experience from the beginning of the planning to the end of our wedding with Diego and his team. He was super easy to connect with and was easily reachable through WhatsApp. When we had issues with international payment he was helpful and flexible. When it came to our actual wedding day we couldn't have asked for a better DJ and team. He had great energy, mixed songs from our playlist with his own ideas and also set up two DJ booths for us (one for the palapa and one for the late night beach dance party!). We just wished that we lived in Mexico, because we would love to hire Diego for every event that we throw! Thank you for giving us the most special and memorable experience.

Diego’s Awesome!!!
First off, our wedding was a bit unusual. We didn’t hire Diego and his crew to DJ the wedding, we (groom & groomsman) were the DJ’s and Evolucion provided the equipment which was speakers, soundboard, LED dance floor, disco balls, and lighting.
Diego kept in great communication with me throughout the entire time and was extremely nice and professional & courteous. We were super happy that he was so easy to work with and talk to, especially considering some of my odd requests and questions throughout the process.
Even with the battle of rain (and ours being an outdoor wedding), they made it work and had the plan B to move the DJ equipment indoors while still being able to use the dance floor for important moments like the first dance and bride / father and groom / mother dances which made for memories which will last a lifetime.
We are very happy working with Diego and his crew and highly recommend Evolucion to anyone searching in Tulum or Cancun to use their wedding or event services! Thank you Diego.

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing Diego from Evolution Mix was as the DJ for my wedding. From the very beginning, he exuded friendliness and professionalism. He went above and beyond by offering to schedule a call to address any questions I had, and he was always prompt in his responses. As the wedding was a fusion of American and Peruvian cultures, it was crucial to have everyone on the dance floor at all times. I expressed my desire for fun dance songs, and Diego delivered flawlessly. The energy on the dance floor was electric, and everyone had a blast. But what really impressed me was Diego's attention to detail. He played three amazing Peruvian songs, which added a special touch to the evening. It was the cherry on top of an already perfect cake.

Diego and his team were great! He was recommend by our wedding planner Arlenis and I couldn’t be happier with our choice of including him at our wedding! From the beginning he provided an excel sheet with a super helpful layout of moments during the wedding that I should consider specific song selections that helped get me started!
We provided a wedding playlist of all our favorites and he made sure myself and my husband and our guests were dancing all night! Everyone had a blast at our wedding, he even had my grandma on the dance floor all night! If you’re looking for an outstanding DJ, look no further
We honestly cannot find the words to describe what a pleasure was working with Diego during the planning stage of the wedding and how great of experience he created during the wedding.
Planning the wedding and liaising with vendors had been quite a tall task, especially when you plan your wedding from afar, however Diego’s professionalism and responsiveness made it extremely smooth and easy on the audio front.
Diego had been extremely keen, polite and responsive with, admittedly, a series of questions and challenges we presented and always stepped up with a solution or a proposal. One thing that really created an highly positive opinion of him and his professionalism was how quickly he responded to our emails.
It is a genuine observation, that many times during the planning of the wedding we praised him between ourselves and wished that if every vendor was like Diego, planning of the wedding would be much much easier.
Diego reached out to us asking for specific songs for specific parts of the day (and night) and we loved his approach of reaching out to us for playlist of songs that we loved to tailor the wedding to our liking instead of opting for a more generic approach (which is what the majority of our married friends complained during their weddings).
During the wedding Diego had been extremely easygoing and friendly and made us feel comfortable like the wedding was happening in our backyard and not hundreds of miles away in Tulum.
As we said, we could honestly praise him enough and we wish him all the best in his professional and personal life.

From the initial inquiry, Diego was on top of his game! He listened to our vision for our special night and provided exactly what we had hoped for. It felt like our life’s custom soundtrack and had myself and my guests dancing until the end.

I had never met Dj Diego and his crew until the day of my wedding. They were extremely nice, and willing to listen to all of my needs. I am extremely happy with their service. We even requested two extra hours outside of the service. Not a single song wasn't danced at during our reception! I am so happy I decided to go with a dj!!!

Believe me you won’t regret hiring Diego as your (wedding) DJ!
I had reservations about choosing a DJ instead of a band, as bands are the norm here in Aruba. However, I can confidently say that I never regretted my decision.
Diego and his team were beyond incredible. His skill in seamlessly blending our favorite Aruban tunes (which are not widely known and requested in advanced by us) created an unforgettable atmosphere as we felt like we were partying in our home country.
The energy was amazing, and we were left wishing the celebration could go on forever!

The best...
Man oh man. Diego is no joke, the real deal, a pleasure to work with. He brought my vision to life, and brought the party! I'm so grateful for him! The entertainment for your wedding can be hit or miss, and Diego hit every nail on the head. Not only is he good at his job, but he's responsive, receptive, kind and willing.
When looking for a DJ, I wanted to be able to create a set list and have them take it from there and do their thing. It was the perfect balance of mixing the songs, providing smooth and upbeat transitions, and allowing us to scream sing the songs lol. I wish I could upload some videos!
I highly highly recommend Diego. I did a tonnnn of research and narrowing down. And I couldn't feel more confident in him:)

Diego is THE BEST DJ I could have ever asked for! He did a great job with mixing all the songs I asked for, from pop to Latin to rap to oldies, he kept the dance floor lively the ENTIRE night! My wedding was the best night ever thanks to Diego, all of my guests still tell me how it was the most fun wedding they’ve been to because of the music!

Diego & his team keep the party going!
We loved having Diego and his team DJ at our wedding. The sound was incredible, and the lighting and set-up looked great. We opted for the disco balls which made the dance floor even more special. The pricing was right in our budget and they truly made our evening even more memorable. I sent my playlists, top artists, and "do not play" list to Diego and he kept our guests dancing until the last shuttle of the night. Super responsive and easy to talk to and email with. So friendly! 10/10 recommend!

We hired Diego and his team for our Tulum wedding - there can be some anxiety with doing a destination wedding and not meeting your vendors before, but Diego was amazing and on the day of, he exceeded our expectations. We told him all the different types of music we liked, and he put together the most perfect playlist from the dinner music to the party music. My friends kept wanting to take a break from dancing to get a drink, they would walk off at the end of the song, and Diego would play another song that brought them right back in. He was very professional and kind. I couldn't recommend him more!

DJ Diego had the entire party rocking - all night!!!
The playlist was one of the most talked about experiences of our wedding - and there were a lot of experiences. We had two very different families merging, mostly for the first time. While all the events we planned leading up to the wedding were impactful, we knew that the DJ would either make or break us. In short, the groom's family likes R&B and Hip-Hop, while the bride's family likes Classic Rock & Pop. We were both excited and a little nervous about how Diego would tie it all together...Well, he did. So much, in fact - we added an additional hour to keep the partying rocking! Our guests are still raving about our DJ!
Diego was such an awesome DJ! He kept the party going all night. I couldn’t even take a bathroom break, every time I tried to leave I’d run back in because I just HAD to dance the next song he played. All of our guests danced the night away with us. ❤️ Diego mixed so many good songs and our guests could not stop talking about the great music the rest of the week. Diego was incredibly easy to work with and willing to accommodate our request for a unique playlist and specific ceremony music. More than anything, we appreciate how he and his team stuck with us despite a wild tropical storm! Through the rain and power outages, Diego worked hard to make sure our party could restart. AMAZING! We danced all night long!!
I just had my wedding at blue venado Jan 17 2023 and used evolution mix audio as our dj we did the most basic package but boy they not disappoint! Diego was amazing, he asked me for a party play list to get to know what we liked and he took what we love and put it all into his set list. From the very first song to the last we danced ALL NIGHT LONG! There wasn’t a single song we didn’t love and go crazy too. He did amazing with our entry songs and he MC’d all night. My guests said it was best music line up at wedding ever. If you want a dj who listens to you, this is the one!!!!

Blue Venado Beach Wedding
Diego was soooo accommodating I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our beach wedding. I love all kinds of music, soca, reggae, country, hip hop, top 40 and all we had to do was send a play list and Diego took care of the rest. Our dance floor was packed all night long. We were connected with Diego via our wedding planner and we could not be more grateful for that introduction. We shared our specific song requests (i.e. entrance to the reception, first dance, last song, etc.), along with just a handful of other songs we liked. Diego did a stellar job mixing our preferred songs with songs of his choosing. We gave him the freedom to curate the vast majority of the evening’s playlist and he delivered. The dance floor was grooving for the entire evening, and no one wanted the party to stop! Thank you, Diego, for being such an important part of our celebration. You’re the best!

We got married at the Blue Venado (Paamul, Playa del Carmen) with Diego as DJ.
Everything was perfect, from the ceremony to the end of the night. With the difficulty to must mix French hits with Mexican ones. Most of the people danced non stop, great atmosphere.
The dancefloor with lights (4x4 blocks) was a great investment.

Diego was so easy to work with and very patient with us especially with how long it took us to get our music together! We utilized Spotify playlists and he didn't just play them, he actually used turntables to make each song more of a remix and transition seamlessly with the next. Our guests could not stop talking about how great the music was and everyone was still dancing until the end of the party at midnight!
The thing that was the biggest win for me was our recessional song for the ceremony. I had timed out when the song needed to start playing softly in the background in order for it to be timed perfectly and hit right at the climax for when we kissed and then walked down the aisle. He nailed the timing and we nailed the timing and you have no idea how happy it made me :)

Diego and team EvolutionMix were absolutely amazing at our wedding! The music selection was PERFECT, Diego’s personality is warm and engaging, and he quickly became a member of our family. But the most AMAZING thing is that, due to a weird flaw with Western Union, we accidentally overpaid Diego quite a bit. HE DROVE 45 MINUTES TO BRING US THE MONEY, during our honeymoon in a nearby part of MX, and refused to take a tip. He was just the most gracious guy, he hugged us and wished us well, and was just happy that we were happy. Can’t say enough about this great company!

Diego and his team were spectacular. They were so responsive, flexible and just a pleasure to have around on the most important day of your life. I planned a wedding from Canada and Diego came recommended from the venue. Him and his team did not disappoint. Simply wonderful people and they just want to ensure that you and your guests are having a great time. My family is from Europe so we had Croatian music, and they did a great job of executing and knowing how to balance it with the English music. If you are looking for a DJ in Mexico - look no further! Now that was a PARTY!!
Diego is seriously the best DJ ever, and we have been to alot of weddings! We didn’t get him a playlist or assigned songs until the day of yet he was able to understand the vibes we were going for. He even shortened our first dance song for us because it was extremely long. We had a cocktail hour prior to the ceremony, then a few hours with more family friendly music, when they left it got wild! His song choices both on and off our playlist were perfect. He even played the songs being requested at the end of the night by guest I doubt he has in his normal playlist but he was able to get them. We are from Texas and in no way fluent in Spanish so it was a plus he is also English speaking.

Diego was the perfect choice for our wedding!!
Diego is a total professional with great music taste. Diego meet with us at our venue the day before for the final walk through. It was clear he knew exactly what he was doing, he made notes of where he would be and where to put all the speakers and the best place for the dance floor to make sure everything was perfect. We had reviewed his instagram videos and knew we liked his music tastes so we gave him complete control of the music. Throughout the night everyone complemented us on the music from what was played during dinner to the dance party that went till 1am. Our guests had such a great time and so did we! You can't go wrong with Diego and his team.

Diego and his team were extremely knowledgeable. You can tell they knew what there were talking about and it makes a huge difference since sometimes people don't know and things can go wrong. Always professional, was present all the time checking everything going smooth and cool!. The equipment and everything he brought were the highest quality. Even after the event, Diego accommodated himself and provided excellent post-event services. Thanks so much for the hard work to make our event memorable.

Awesome DJs!
Diego and his team were the perfect DJs for our wedding party. I was able to create a playlist of songs on Spotify that I wanted played at our wedding and they mixed them together! They played the slow songs at perfect times throughout the night and mixed song after song in a great order that made the dance floor the place everyone wanted to be. Diego was super responsive via email and very friendly throughout the process. He even let my wife behind the table to scratch a bit. Definitely would recommend these guys.

So so happy we decided to hire Diego. Planning a destination wedding from a car can be stressful, but Diego was super responsive, prompt to reply, and even agreed to meet with us at our venue on our rehearsal to chat about the music. We appreciate Diegos excellent service, as well as his friendly vibes, he sure knows how to keep a dance party going !

Diego and his team were simply amazing to deal with and indeed went over and above what they have promised to deliver. We life in Australia and despite the time difference the communication was always very good. Diego and his team made everything very easy and put on an excellent show for us and our guests. We got married on May 19th at the Grand Coral Beach Club and Diego met with us prior and helped us work out timing of our dances and our playlists He even reached out weeks before the wedding to get started on our playlist. Many of our guests told us how awesome the music was, we were on the dance floor all night! We couldn’t have been happier! Thank you Diego for making our big day such a memorable one!!

DJ Diego was the perfect end to our amazing wedding. He was very professional and worked with us to make sure things would be exactly (and even better) what we wanted. We had a very wide range of music from Disco, Rap, Arabic, Dance Music, New Age and many more. Somehow he mixed the night together and made it feel like one cohesive music set. He would mix the beat from a song played 3 or 4 songs before, with the current song to pull everything together. We both love our music and Diego was able to exceed our dreams for our wedding dance party! There were so many great events at our wedding but he was right there at the top. I would refer him to anyone and for any genre. Thanks for making our night perfect!

We live in the US and had our destiantion wedding at Blue Venado Beach Club outside of Playa del Carmen. We brought our own DJ with us but we rented the equipment and dance floor from EvolutionMix Audiovisual. Our DJ said that the crew that delivered and set up the sound system were very helpful and available the whole night. The system sounded great and everything was perfect. No complaints!! DJ Diego was recommended to us by Erica from weddings in playa and we were very happy with the service he provided. Very professional, easy to work with, fun and accommodating. Being from Australia we were only in plays del Carmen for a few days before our wedding. We had our wedding on November 4, 2017. Both Diego and Orlando were amazing! We had the best party, lasting until 2am. People keep talking about how great our party was and about how much they danced. We also used the infinity dance floors offered by EvolutionMixAudiovisual, and they sure make a difference! If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change one thing. Diego and Orlando made one awesome party for us!!! Gracias!!!

DJ Diego was very accomodating and played all of the songs we queued for special moments. We gave him our playlist one day before the wedding and responded to our email immediately when we had changes! The dance floor was sturdy and well worth it (we rented a 4x4 dance floor)! He mixed in the songs smoothly like a pro, compared to other DJs who would just play one song after another without any thought or effort. Book him for your wedding and you'll have a great time!

We had a wonderful reception thanks to Diego! He was super accommodating, very versatile and extremely patient with us as we made choices about the music! Our reception was a mix of two cultures and Diego did very well capturing music for the entire group.

Working with Diego was an absolute pleasure. He was willing to work around our hectic schedules, and was flexible enough to wait (last minute!) for our song selections. Our wedding was a blast! And I am sure it would not have been without him.

We owe you a HUGE thank you to DJ Diego Alvarado for his amazing work! His contribution to our wedding day made it that much more memorable! He pulled off one hell of a party!! As owners of a radio station, we are pretty picky when it comes to music but Diego was so easy to work with and is definitely very good at what he does! All our guests were extremely happy with the music and we were so excited that people danced till the end! Actually, people didn’t want it to stop… haha! We’re also extremely grateful for Diego's MC services. With less than 24hrs of notice of our “entrance” song and the names he needed to call out, he got that whole moment right on the nose! Diego did an amazing job at our wedding. His music was on point throughout the night, people were dancing all night long. He played a great mix of contemporary US/Mexico music (on our request) and needed very little direction. He played all the right songs that we'd requested for first dance, etc. His props were super fun! The fireworks after our first dance were just next level. He was very professional and communication was beyond easy. His equipment provides a great sound. His prices are very reasonable. I'd recommend him without hesitation. The DJ is a very important piece of the puzzle in creating an ambiance people will enjoy and he goes above and beyond to ensure a good time!

DJ Diego was absolutely amazing!! My wife and I got Married in Playa Del Carmen in 2014 and DJ Diego had the party jumping at Indigo beach club!! We listen to and love a lot of different music from Hip-Hop , Rock, Disco, Reggae, Cumbia, Banda, R&B, and anything else you can think of!! Diego not only played the music we liked but mixed it up perfectly and the party was on a constant upswing!! My husband and I just got married in Playa Del Carmen 2 weeks ago. Diego and his team, EvolutionMix provided all the lights, music, MC, and entertainment for our reception. His work was highly professional. He catered to everyone of my requests and made sure my wedding was exactly how I wanted it. We danced all night! Diego was great! He came as a referral from our wedding coordinator and he was outstanding. From the beginning while replying to our messages, he was upbeat and excited about our wedding. Diego Alvarado from EvolutionMix was the DJ for our wedding at Indigo Beach in Playa del Carmen, Cancun this past April, 2017. My husband and I reside in Orange County, CA. We coordinated all services through email where Diego sent us a detailed description of services such as music, illumination and optional dancing stages. All services had different choices for various budgets. We were over the moon!! Not only Diego helped us with all the mentioned services, but gave us a KILLER deal adding photography and video services for our beach wedding. We gave him a list of our favorite songs, we met 2 days before the wedding and he helped us select songs for special moments of the ceremony and reception. Our guests were blown away! Everybody danced and continuously told me and my husband that this was the "best wedding they had ever been to". I am eternally grateful for EvolutionMix services because we had the wedding of our dreams and didn't have to break the bank for it:)

Diego was wonderful to work with. Planning a destination wedding is never an easy task, but with Diego, he made things run smoothly and seamlessly as possible leading up to and during the wedding. He was extremely responsive to my emails and constant playlist updates.
Leading up to the wedding, he held an in-person meeting to finalize all of the loose ends, which reassured us that we were in good hands. On the wedding day, he did a great job of playing a good mix of music while also getting people up and dancing without putting all the attention on himself. He created a great ambiance for people to enjoy using his excellent sound equipment, lighting, and dance floor - all which were at a very reasonable price. During the wedding, their equipment had a power shortage and we lost music for a few minutes; however, he handled the situation professionally and everything was back in order in a timely manner. Overall, I had a great time and would absolutely recommend Diego and his team.

Amazing Wedding DJ Services!
We booked with EvolutionMix Audiovisual after doing an immense amount of research about wedding DJs in the area. We were disappointed to learn that Diego was booked, however he enlisted the help of another DJ in his organization, DJ Lalo Villarreal. We were skeptical but decided to trust him.
We are glad that we did! We had an eclectic assortment of music that we wanted played to incorporate the multiple cultures and languages of our families. We also wanted a "clubbier" feel and house music played at specific tempos. DJ Lalo was able to incorporate all of our requests and flawlessly transition from song to song. He knew exactly how to keep the crowd going. The whole party was dancing for 4+ hours.
Additionally, he was very accommodating. He even let some of my friends who DJ play a short set they had prepared. The company brought all of the equipment and lights. They sent us some photos and videos of the party after the wedding, which we were happy to get before our professional shots were available.
We would definitely book with EvolutionMix Audiovisual and DJ Lalo again!!
