Hiring Eric as your officiant is a must!!
After speaking with Eric from Evermore, my husband and I knew he was the person we needed to have officiate our wedding! I believe our initial phone call lasted over an hour and it was clear that Eric truly loves what he does and goes out of his way for his clients to make your day the most special! I found out I was going to be expecting my first baby a month after our original wedding date. We had already booked Eric for that date, but decided it would be best to move our wedding date. Eric was nothing but accommodating and supportive and agreed to take on our new date. You would be surprised that not many of our other vendors were this kind in terms of letting us rebook them for a new date. Eric makes it clear that he is not only your vendor but is also your friend. He constantly offered his support in other ways besides being your officiant which was so appreciated during such a stressful time. He kept our ceremony simple but meaningful and it’s exactly what we envisioned and more! Just prior to your wedding you fill out a packet that allows him to get to know you and your significant other. After receiving our packet we set up a meeting to go over exactly what our wedding ceremony would look like. He was prompt and organized on our wedding day and our guests could not say enough great things about our ceremony!! The wedding world has become crazy and you absolutely want to ensure your hiring trustworthy, professional, and kind vendors. This is exactly what Eric and his business encompasses and I can’t recommend him enough to any future bride or groom. Thank you again Eric for making our day so special and going above and beyond to accommodate us and our crazy pregnancy curveball lol!

October Wedding
We hired Eric from Evermore Officiant in 2020 for our wedding in October 2022. Eric was responsive and extremely helpful as he was able to walk us through our ceremony and figure out exactly what we wanted. He even was able to look over our vows as we wrote them ourselves. The night before our wedding, Eric came to my parents house for our rehearsal and walked us through everything we could have needed for our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, he was on time and fully prepared, willing to help with anything we needed including his own microphone and speaker. We couldn’t recommend Evermore Officiant services enough!

Perfect vineyard wedding
We had to cancel our wedding in Florida due to hurricane Ian. As we scrambled to reschedule it here I messaged Eric only a two weeks before our new date. He responded quickly that he was available and would be happy to help us. His ceremony was so personal that some of our guests thought he was our minister. I highly recommend Eric. He is very caring and genuine. He made our day so special.

Evermore Officiant is AMAZING!!!!!
Eric is absolutely amazing!!! He truly made our wedding ceremony one of a kind! I wanted to incorporate a few traditions from my heritage and Eric looked into everything himself and wrote beautiful words to go along with these traditions! Our ceremony was so wonderful, many of our guests came up to us afterwards to tell us how amazingly wonderful it was and how much they enjoyed Eric! Eric's energy is projected throughout the ceremony and he is so well spoken and engaging with us as the couple and with all of our guests. Not only was he amazing during the ceremony but he was wonderful during our rehearsal dinner! He was able to make me feel comfortable and give me wonderful tips of how to get down the aisle and ways to keep my nerves to a minimum during the entire ceremony. I would have been lost without Eric and he truly made our ceremony perfect! I will forever recommend him to everyone I know who is getting married and I am forever grateful to him for giving us such a wonderful experience that I will cherish forever!!

The most amazing officant i could ever imagine!
Eric Potter made getting married a breeze. He was the easiest choice we could have made. He had many types of ceremonies available. Me and my now husband went out to coffee with him and we talked and he was able to pinpoint the perfect ceremony. He is such a beautiful speaker and made the moments special. He also knows how to orchestract the bridal party walk up and knows all the tricks to what looks and works best. he also knws to get out of the way for pictures when the kiss happens which i never would have though. He is amazing at what he does and knows how to make and create the perfect ceremeny. He also sent in the mariage license and it was done by the counties in days!

Our Wedding

Best choice!!
Evermore Officiant Services was the best choice for our wedding! He made our ceremony everything we ever imagined and wanted it to be! We really appreciated how he customized the ceremony to exactly what we wished and took the time to learn about what we love about eachother to incorporate that as well, really personalizing the whole experience for us. The whole process was made extremely easy for us with the suggested readings, prayers and verses...and he orchestrated the ones we selected along with some of our personal choices flawlessly. We received numerous compliments on our our ceremony and how beautiful it was! Many people said they wish they knew about Evermore Officiant when they got married. 10/10 - professional, helpful and surprisingly relaxing experience!
Eric helped make our wedding perfect by writing a fantastic speech for our ceremony. He was able to capture the essence of us without him being a close friend or family member that we’ve known for years based on the targeting questioning as a part of our prep sessions. In addition to the final product - he was super organized and helpful throughout the entire process and helped us take care of all legal aspects such as filing with the state which was a huge help. He thought of the little things - telling us to kiss longer than expected after “you may kiss the bride” and to kiss halfway down the aisle after man and wife to get pictures you won’t regret. It was clear he cared and wasn’t just a check the box kind of man. In conclusion, we loved working with Eric and would wholeheartedly recommend him as your officiant!!

Amazing ceremony thanks to Eric!
Eric from Evermore Officiant Services was amazing! We originally booked with him before the pandemic, and when it came time to needing to change our plans for our October 2020 wedding, he was so kind and helpful! When our postponed wedding week arrived in October 2021, Eric was early to our rehearsal and was thorough explaining everything to us. Our ceremony was beautifully written, as Eric is sure to get to know his couples beforehand. Overall, we had an amazing experience with Eric and one of our guests/friends was so impressed, she booked with him the week after our wedding! Do yourself a favor and book Evermore!

Eric was absolutely great! I struggled to find an officiant before I spoke to Eric. We chose him because he was professional yet seemed cool and relaxed. He provided us with so many options for our ceremony and was very flexible. Although we didn't personally know Eric beforehand, I felt as though he did a great job creating a beautiful ceremony that felt very special for us. Right before the ceremony he ran through everything with us individually so we knew what to do and expect. He even gave us some helpful tips for pictures. Definitely recommend Eric 100%, he made our ceremony unforgettable!!

Top of the line from start to finish!
Where do I begin? Eric, hands down, was the best officiant we could have ever dreamed of. From start to finish, he was so personal and wanted to make sure that every word and action was supportive and what we were looking for. I have to say, when we first began our journey of looking for a wedding officiant, I was worried that we would end up with something unpersonal and our guests could tell he was a stranger to us. From the first time we met, Eric quickly became a wonderful new friend of ours. After we met him, we had to postpone our wedding...twice (THANKS COVID!) and throughout that time he kept in touch with us and we even met with him and his family a few times to review what we were looking for! He made it so comfortable for both my husband and I who were very nervous in wanting everything to go right. He made recommendations based on our personality and often kept us both calm when no one else seemed to be able to. Eric was the most organized officiant I could imagine from the day we first met, providing different readings, vows, rituals, etc. and it was so helpful in getting all of our thoughts together. If you watch our wedding video, you can see that his professionalism, yet personalism, is second to none. I would highly recommend Eric for your wedding or vow renewals! He will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we are so grateful to have him as a new friend of ours!!

Eric Potter is by far the BEST wedding officiant, and I am so happy that we chose him to orchestrate our wedding ceremony! Everything about our ceremony was perfect and stunningly beautiful! He exceeded our expectations in every single way! Eric is super sweet and kept us laughing! He is very flexible, accommodating, and catered to all of our needs. I cannot say enough good things about Evermore Officiant Services! Lauren and Eric were a DREAM to work with for our April 2021 wedding. A few minutes into our first phone call, we knew we had found the perfect team. They wrote a beautiful ceremony together, and leading up to the big day, Lauren promptly communicated with us to help make it even more personalized and special. She even offered great suggestions on how we could put a spin on the unity cup ceremony to make it more "us".
I also want to add that Lauren was an absolute angel the day of the wedding, helping with things outside of her role as our officiant. With some unexpected weather obstacles, I was feeling pretty stressed, but Lauren helped to calm me down as she graciously stepped in and helped in any way she could. I cannot thank her enough for not only delivering the perfect ceremony, but also for the level of care she showed us!

A very special ceremony
Eric at Evermore Officiant was absolutely great! It was a very stressful and exciting time and he made the process very easy for us. He sent over sample vows, which were very helpful as we had no idea what to expect. He had recommended ceremony traditions listed which also helped us in constructing our ceremony. We weren’t very religious, and he kept that in mind when writing our script, as well as respected relationships with family members as they were addressed during the ceremony. Eric was available to meet via zoom, email, or text anytime I had questions or concerns. Our day went smooth and was with a very special ceremony thanks to Eric! 10/10 recommended!

If you are looking for an amazing officiant, look no further! Eric has been absolutely amazing throughout the whole marriage license process, during our rehearsal, and the day of the wedding! He wrote our script in a timely manner and was available and totally open to any changes we had. During the rehearsal our venue couldn’t be available and Eric was amazing throughout the whole process making, suggesting and guiding the whole wedding party through the ceremony! The day of the wedding, Eric was there early to make sure we were both ready and offer to help with anything we needed prior to the actual ceremony time. We were absolutely amazed with Eric and would recommend him to every single person who is looking to get married!

Eric was fantastic! We wanted a simple non religious ceremony and he delivered. He sent us a detailed schedule ahead of time, walked us through everything the day of, was quick to respond when we had questions, and was very affordable. Highly recommend!

The best officiant you can book for wedding!
Eric is by far the best officiant you can hire for your special day! We booked him for our wedding in October but at the last minute decided to elope in May. He was very flexible and worked with us so he could still officiate our day. What sets him apart is that you can tell he truly cares about you and making your day exactly how you want it to be. We originally booked Eric for our wedding 10/11/2020, but had to postpone due to COVID. Eric was 100% understanding and was able to accommodate our new date in 11/2021. My fiancé and I later decided to have a small COVID wedding in 2020 in our front yard and reached out to Eric. Great Ceremony!
Eric made our ceremony process so easy! We didn't really have any strong ideas about what we wanted to include in the ceremony, and he was very helpful at providing options and suggestions. We ended up going very simple, but he made all of our adjustments that we requested in a timely manner and provided us with a script in advanced so we'd know the order of things and who was doing what. Our guests enjoyed the ceremony, and Eric fit right in despite the fact we didn't get to meet before the wedding day (pandemic planning!). He was always happy to hop on the phone with us for all of our questions, super understanding, and had a great energy. We definitely recommend Evermore!

Having to plan a backyard wedding in two months because a pandemic cancelled our big plans was pretty stressful, but from the beginning Eric was incredibly flexible and knew our plans were very up in the air. He is so easy to work with and really made us feel comfortable with the whole experience from start to finish. I love that he was able to come out the day before for a rehearsal, because that was one things I really wanted out of our officiant. His wife was also there to help and basically stepped in as our day of coordinator because we had no one to really help with that. They are a great team and I definitely recommend them to be a part of your special day!

Best part of our wedding.
The best part of our wedding was our ceremony. Eric married my husband and I at the Liberty View in an intimate ceremony with our closest family members. Eric made planning our ceremony extremely easy and tailored it perfectly to us as a couple. It was beautiful. I cannot recommend Eric enough. He is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Highly Recommend ! Awesome Officiant
We were running around looking for an officiant on somewhat of a short notice due to COVID changing our wedding plans.
We heard of Evermore Officiant through good reviews and recommendations from other brides in NJ.
We gave Eric a call and he was so nice, professional, and willing to work with us and our condensed ceremony due to our changed COVID plans.
He walked us through the whole process and told us the steps to take which made it supper easy on our end to apply for a license.
The ceremony went wonderfully and he did an amazing job. He knew when and where to move or step when photo and video was being taken and he had such beautiful vows and words for my wife and I to share. He has a great presence and lovely speaking voice. He was professional and easy to talk to.
Everyone loved Eric’s Services and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He will work with you to tailor the ceremony in the way that makes you and your fiancé happy and comfortable. He then helps with all of the steps afterwards as well when actually getting the license, 10/10 !

Better than an amazing experience!
The BEST decision we made (other than to marry each other!) was to hire Lauren from Evermore Officiant Services. We, like many other couples during this time are dealing with a COVID wedding and had to change ALL things last minute. From the very beginning, Lauren was amazing and extremely responsive to everything and anything I sent her way. Our elopement officiant
My now-husband and I decided to elope a year in advance of our postponed wedding date next summer. We agreed with a few week's notice. Through my search, I came across Evermore Officiant Services. We got a quick and thorough response to our initial inquiry and swift, helpful answers to all of our questions we had. All of our correspondence felt very natural and at ease.
We felt Eric was the officiant for us. On the day of the wedding, he and both of our witnesses (that we requested) were all punctual and friendly. They even offered to take some pictures for us at the ceremony. Those photos came out beautiful! We will cherish them forever. Everything went by so smoothly. It was a sweet, intimate ceremony for the two of us. Eric accommodated the ceremony to our specific requests. He also was flexible with us changing the ceremony location a week out, which we were very thankful for. Communication between booking and the wedding date was effortless and always prompt if you're an avid emailer like me. We enjoyed our experience with Eric and definitely would recommend it! We are extremely happy with our choice to go with evermore officiant services for our wedding! Eric was so easy to work with in designing our ceremony and quick to answer any questions we had. Because we were not able to do a rehearsal ahead of time, on the day of the wedding Eric and his wife showed up over an hour early so we could do a quick run through before the guests started showing up. He was professional and personable, and able to organize the hot mess that was our bridal party, so everyone knew what they needed to do when and it went of without a hitch! We LOVED our ceremony. We wanted to keep things short and simple with a bit of levity thrown in and Eric absolutely nailed it! Finding Eric was one of the greatest blessings of our wedding experience. We had absolutely no idea how to conceptualize our wedding ceremony, but with Eric's help, we had nothing to worry about. Best decision we made
One of the best decisions we made for our wedding day was choosing Eric as our officiant. Not only did he customize every element of our ceremony, but he executed each piece with such elegance and thought. We didn’t want a religious ceremony, so his a la carte style offerings won us over at the start of our search.
With help from a detailed questionnaire, he told our 16 year love story better than we could have, and wrote the most beautiful, tear-jerking sentiments . Every step of the process was easy. He made sure every question was answered and his meticulous organization made everything clear, concise, and easy for everyone to follow. We had been to so many weddings where we didn’t love certain elements of the ceremony and were insanely relieved to find someone who was as professional, compassionate, easy, fun and cool as Eric was. Not only that, but his lovely wife accompanied him offering to run out and grab any last minute items we may have needed. They make an amazing team. And not for nothing, but he offers his services at an incredibly affordable price when he could easily charge a hell of a lot more for what he provides.
Don’t hesitate for a moment if you’re considering reaching out to Eric. Having him as our officiant took all the pressure off of us for our big day and we are so grateful to have gained a friend in him.

Made everything easy

Amazing, personal, friendly, and super helpful!
Eric was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We had no idea where to start with finding an officiant for our wedding, and came across Eric's name on The Knot. He walked us through the entire process in an easy, friendly way and started with a call to get to know my husband and I. He worked with us on several drafts of our ceremony (which he kept short and sweet at 15 minutes!!) and made sure to tailor it to us. He included lots of amazing personal tidbits about our relationship which was wonderful, as it made the ceremony feel unique and special. Another big plus was that Eric answered any questions we had about our marriage license & he took care of all the paperwork and filing so we didn't need to worry about anything day-of. Eric & his wife were wonderful, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of an officiant for their big day.

We could not have asked for a better officiant! Eric is the best!
Eric was amazing!! He gave us a ton of information and some examples to make planning our ceremony easy. Whenever I reached out, he answered right away. He wasn’t able to make it to our rehearsal because of a delayed flight so he FaceTimed us and walked us through everything which calmed a lot of our nerves. Our family and friends could not stop telling us how beautiful the ceremony was and how great Eric did. I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone to make your ceremony extra special!

Where do I even start? Eric was a pleasure to work with from the very first email to the very end. He took the time to help make sure the ceremony was exactly how we pictured our dream ceremony to be. We gave Eric a brief outline of how we wanted everything to go and asked that he put together the rest and he did an incredible job. We sent him a little “get to know” information about us and our relationship and he made it into an amazing opening for the ceremony. Aside from the ceremony itself, Eric put our minds at ease for the simple fact that he takes care of all the paperwork and files everything for you as well. Communication is key and he was very quick in responding to any questions that came up along the way. The wedding planning process can be super stressful but I can honestly say that Eric made the ceremony side of everything run extremely smooth. I would 100% recommend him to anyone who wants an experienced, friendly officiant.

Eric was AWESOME. the pre-wedding process was very straightforward. He broke down the ceremony structure, I hand picked my options and he made it all flow seamlessly. He even went the extra (5) miles to handwrite both my husband and I's vows because I forgot to bring a copy literally MINUTES before our ceremony. Great Officiant to Create Your Custom Wedding Ceremony!
My husband and I are not religious people nor did we want a ceremony mired in tradition, but we knew wanted a ceremony that was special to us: quick, simple, and full of love. The best part of working with Eric, was he got to know exactly what we wanted from our ceremony. He gave us an outline of all our options, and provided us a draft of the ceremony a month in advance! He was able to arrive an hour early to do our rehearsal with us on the day of the wedding, and came fully prepared with our readings printed out on nice cardstock! (We were panicking because we totally forgot to print them ourselves.) He's eloquent and has a great voice/presence for the officiant role. I'm sure Eric can provide you the ceremony you're looking for whether it is full of tradition or simple, short and sweet.

We would 100% recommend Eric Potter for any wedding occasion. My husband and I wed on August 9th and we are so happy that Eric was a part of our special day; actually, he added and made it that much more special. We found Eric on this site and were impressed by his reviews. I took the time to read through almost all of them and every single one was positive. We immediately reached out and had pretty much made up our mind. We looked at a couple other websites and Evermore Officiant Services really is one of a kind. Eric takes the time to talk with you and your spouse to really understand your connection and who you are. He was respectful, professional and customizes the ceremony to reflect who you are as individuals and as a couple. He had great ideas and made our ceremony short, sweet and so, so memorable. He sends you everything you need to know prior for you to review. We made NO changes. Eric really knows how to listen to what you want. When the big day finally came and we met Eric and his wife, Liz, it felt as if we had always known them. They are so personable and have a special connection that you could really feel. Which, actually, no one ever talks about. Your officiant is literally the one walking you through your first moments of marriage. He should be representative of that and be an example. We don't know Liz and Eric personally but I can tell you that they are a very special couple. Once it was over and we took a few minutes to let everything settle in, we walked back out to the party. Eric and Liz were mingling and they fit right in. They never once felt like strangers. Let's not mention that his prices aren't even competitive. He is by far, the most reasonably priced for what you get. It's honestly a no-brainer. Do yourself a favor and call Eric. This is the easy choice during your wedding planning!

The Wedding of Our Dreams
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and Eric was a big part of that. We had a small, intimate ceremony at our home and wanted it to have a very relaxed feel. The ceremony that Eric put together was exactly what we had hoped for - short, sweet, laid-back, funny, but still full of emotion and inspiration. Eric and his wife, Liz, fit right into our family and it felt like we had been friends with them forever!
Aside from the wonderful ceremony, Eric was also a huge help when we ran into some issues when our township lost our marriage license (EEK!). He stayed on top of everything until it was all resolved. Definitely went above and beyond!
Thank you, Eric, for making our day a dream come true! We will absolutely be staying in touch and would HIGHLY recommend Evermore Officiant Services.

Wedding Perfection
Eric and his wife Liz (Evermore Officiant Services) were everything we hoped for and more! Our ceremony was not only brief and to the point (13 minutes, Kudos), but beyond beautiful. I actually cried reading the rough draft of our ceremony... before it even happened! Not only that, but Eric made himself readily available for whatever we needed. He responded quickly via email and answered all questions alleviating any confusion or nerves we may have had leading up to our event. I would definitely recommend spending the extra money and having Eric and Liz come for your rehearsal. He and his wife will explain everything in great detail, and have you super prepared for your event (or as prepared as you can be)! They will work extremely well with your venue and the rest of your vendors! BONUS: he comes with his own sound system (for songs and for your audience to hear what is going on)!!! I don't think there are many officiants out there that do that!
Your wedding is supposed to be one of the most special days of your life, and Eric and Liz will make it just that! When we met, officially, for the first time at our rehearsal Eric and Liz fit right in. They are truly two of the most personable people we ever met, and they even stayed after to celebrate at the reception! They meshed so well with our bridal party and family. My grandmom even had to make her way up to them and thank them!
Honestly, I could go on and on, but there are not enough words to explain how amazing the Evermore Officiant Services were! My husband Jesse and I will be forever grateful! And forever grateful for making two great friends!

Great Officiant!
My fiancé and I booked Eric to be our officiant for our 7.20.19 wedding and he was awesome! We had no idea what we wanted to do in terms of vows and the ceremony script, but Eric’s questionnaire and form made it easy. Eric is Absolutely World Class!
Eric was without a doubt the most perfect fit to be our officiant for our wedding. From start to finish, he was absolutely amazing. I spoke with Eric briefly about 10 months before our wedding as we were doing our search for officiants. He was extremely nice, genuine, very responsive to emails, and after a few interactions by phone and email, I knew that he would be great. What I did not know is how much he would exceed our expectations! He tailored our ceremony exactly how we wanted, helped us run our ceremony without any issues, and made us feel extremely comfortable throughout the process. I would strongly recommend the rehearsal, which we did the day before our wedding. It is extremely valuable and will definitely allow you to relax the day of the ceremony. After being married just one week, words still cannot describe how wonderful Eric was. I would wholeheartedly recommend Eric as a wedding officiant! I cannot say enough about Evermore officiant! Eric officiated our wedding and was incredible. He customized our ceremony to fit our personalities and to be exactly how we asked. He was down to earth and fun work with.
