Wonderful team with great communication and support!

Lesley was incredibly professional, communicative, and helpful from the moment we started our venue tour to the very end of our wedding night. Throughout the entire process of looking and finalizing our venue, Lesley answered all of my questions and provided excellent advice when needed. She made sure that her team members were all on the same page, and that all the details of set-up/clean-up were clearly communicated, which was such a huge help! I would highly recommend any bride-to-be to work with Lesley and her team at Events on 6th!

Simply Perfect

Everything about this venue was perfect. Leslie was very helpful and responsive. She is very well organized which helped the planning go smoothly. She has a lot of table plans already drawn up to choose from, and they were easy to customize to what we wanted for our wedding. Measurements of various things were provided, like the length and width of the aisle, among other things as well. Once our reception layout was decided, she emailed a list of and size of all the tables we would be using which made ordering linens for easy.
You get the beautiful church setting while not having to move locations for your reception. Highly recommend this venue!

Events on 6th is the best venue ever!

Lesley was amazing. She was so supportive and open to assist every step of the way. We loved that the chapel and reception hall were in the same location. Our family and friends were very impressed with the beauty of the chapel and how warm and inviting the entire venue felt. We looked at five more venues after visiting Events on 6th. We chose them because of the value but we loved them because of the many ways Lesley and her team made our wedding day more than we had imagined. We highly recommend Events on 6th for your wedding or other special event. You will not be disappointed.

Could not have been happier!

Lesley was extremely helpful and worked with us on making sure everything was set for our big day. Our wedding day was amazing when it came to the venue's presentation, we were able to enjoy ourselves even during Covid. Hard to imagine a more gorgeous venue.

Events on 6th gave me the perfect wedding

I truly had the perfect wedding. Events on 6th really helped make this possible! the venue itself was beautiful (not much decor needed) and it was nice having the reception and ceremony at the same place. Lesley was really great to work with. She helped coordinate rental drop offs, pick ups, was very helpful and was very responsive up until the day of the wedding. I also used many of the vendors events on 6th recommended which was great as the staff knew the venue well!!

Pandemic who

I got married in October 2020. With not very ideal sircumstances. Events on 6th was not only understanding but very flexible with my wishes to make my wedding day as magical as possible. They followed all CDC guidelines and social distancing and kept all my guests safe. Looking back now at our memories and photos of that day I realize it was a perfect day. No we didn't get to have a full reception with a big party and dancing and food but it was perfect. Yes it was small but I would prefer intimate. Not one moment during that day did I think I was in the middle of a pandemic. Lesley was the absolute best corridnator ever. She always kept us informed through out the year with planning. I highly recommend!!

Beautiful and unforgettable venue!

We loved this venue for our wedding, the chapel was just beautiful and even more amazing once you add in your decor, the main entrance is captivating and the reception hall was the perfect size for our 80ish guest count with plenty of room to spare. We had an absolute amazing time, Lesley was very responsive and helped where she could during the day. The way the venue is laid out is really quite perfect for a wedding, the suites are spectacular and nicely kept. The outside was beautiful for photos. We truly had out fairy tale wedding and would do it all over again if we could.

Perfect venue

Helped Take the Stress Out of Planning!

My husband (yay!) and I planned our wedding for December 28, 2019 when we got engaged in 2018 (we ended up eloping in June and used this date for our formal celebration as planned). Having difficulties finding an affordable indoor venue, I stumbled across Events on 6th during a google search. The venue was low priced, GORGEOUS, and seemed too good to be true. I reached out to the owner, Lesley, and was elated that our wedding date was available. Lesley provided quick, exceptional service and was just as excited about the wedding as we were! Lesley's flexibility with our planning sessions, understanding, and dedication to making sure everything was planned out and executed smoothly helped take the stress out of the day so that we could focus on what was important - our marriage. The chapel was absolutely gorgeous and we received complements all night long. Love this venue!!

We loved it!

We are so happy we chose Events on 6th for our wedding. The building is beautiful and with the Chapel, the Lounge and the the Reception space you are able to move smoothly from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception. Lesley is wonderful to work with. Quick responses to any questions I may have had and she also gave great referrals for catering and wedding coordination.

Events on 6th is absolutely beautiful inside and out.

Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for. Lesley was amazing to work with and was always so professional and helpful! From the ceremony to the reception the venue has a great flow and is just beautiful. We hardly had to decorate, table cloths and simple flowers is all it took to create a gorgeous atmosphere. I couldn’t be happier with the venue itself and how awesome Lesley was ever step of the way!

So sweet and helpful

Lesley was a joy to work with. She really knows the venue and the wedding business. She also is super easy to get a hold of. I could e-mail or text her anytime and she would reply quickly. Perfect!! ❤️

Events on 6th was everything we always dreamed of!! Before we met Lesley, we were so overwhelmed trying to find a venue within our price-range that still had the beauty and charm that we wanted. The second we walked into the gorgeous chapel, and heard that pipe organ play.. We knew we had found our wedding venue!! We signed a contract before we even left. As the days to the wedding got closer, Lesley was always there for us! If I had a question (that wasn't already answered by all of her AMAZING info online), we knew she'd respond ASAP with an answer. She was always very responsive and incredibly helpful. She helped answer venue-specific questions, random wedding planning questions, you name it!! I honestly cannot even put into words how big of a difference she made for our special day. If you feel on the fence about this venue... Just go see it. I promise it'll be worth it!! ❤️❤️

Gorgeous Venue!

Gorgeous venue nestled in a neighborhood and a very communicative venue coordinator! With a visitation meeting, two planning sessions and a 90 minute rehearsal the day before, everything went wonderfully! Beautiful venue and amazing service !

Events on 6th was nothing short of amazing on our wedding day and events leading up to the day! Lesley is professional and organized as well as funny and patient when things don’t go according to plan. Beautiful and Perfect for the Occasion

Roberto and my wedding was fun, special, and memorable thanks to this beautiful venue and what it has to offer. Lesley was very thorough and helpful in the planning process, and she also provided us with a list of preferred and recommended vendors. Because of this, everything ran smoothly during the wedding and we were able to focus on celebrating our day. It was also great to have the ceremony and reception in one location, and the building looks exceptional and well-maintained. I received a lot of compliments from our guests about how beautiful this venue is, and I don't think Roberto and I could have found a better place for us to get married!

We could not say enough good things about Events on 6th. Our wedding was fabulous. It is such a classy venue and reserving the location was seamless. Lesley is very though and gracious and was a pleasure to work with. The venue was absolutely beautiful, not only for pictures but guests loved not having to travel to a separate location for the reception. There is also a beautiful park down the road to take even more great wedding photos. You will not be disappointed.

Wedding Day

We only needed the church for my daughter’s wedding and events on 6th is a beautiful church. Leslie the coordinator was super professional and timely. I appreciated that Leslie was flexible with us on such short notice and she had people she worked with should we needed them. She knew organ players, caters, and other professional wedding accessories should we need them. If you are looking for a professional, and knowledgeable person with a beautiful place to get married; then events on 6th is THE place. If we had more time to plan my daughter’s wedding I would’ve booked the whole place.

Amazing Experience! Perfect Day!

Events on 6th was the absolute perfect venue for us! Having an indoor venue was important to us but we also needed anough space for our 160 guests. The layout of the facility with the beautiful chapel, lovely fireplace room, charming outside courtyard, welcoming reception hall and comfortable bridal party/family rooms was able to handle the flow of the 160 people who attended. We had the bar in the lounge and other drinks in the courtyard with cocktail tables throughout. Both spaces were wonderful additional places where our guests could mingle. We loved the hanging white lights in the reception hall and with a rented chandelier it made it so romantic as we danced the night away. Lesley was very helpful, accommodating, organized and supportive with our plans for the day. We could make the place our own and it came to life with our ideas and aesthetics. The two 1-hour planning sessions before the big day made it super helpful to coordinate. And Lesley was always communicative and responsive, and was super helpful when I had questions. We used Mama Stortinis as the caterer but they did much more than just catering. They were an amazing one stop shop for rentals (linens, china, glassware, chargers, chandelier, food, desserts, drinks, bartender and bar) and brought support staff that helped my set up crew of friends and family and did an amazing job assisting with the flow of the reception. Stortinis had worked with Events on 6th before and knew the place well. With Mama Stortinis, Lesley and my own set up crew the day ran beautifully without a single hitch!! Events on 6th really helped ease the stress. It really was the most perfect day for us, and the perfect venue to celebrate with our friends and family. Highly recommend!!!

Great location, beautiful venue

Events on 6th was perfect for our wedding of 150. We loved having everything in one place and the location was phenomenal for coordinating all wedding needs within blocks of each other. (This was incredibly helpful in the mad rush just before the wedding!) The Stone exterior was beautiful in pictures and the interior was super easy to decorate to fit our wants and desires. Lesley was a superb partner and helped us throughout the planning process making sure we were on point in the layout (super helpful for communication on what we wanted the day of) as well as helping us solve for some of what we wanted but were not sure how to make happen. Strongly recommend the venue because our experience was everything we could hope for our wedding.

Events on 6th made wedding planning a cinch! The church is small and beautiful, with a gorgeous gothic facade which makes it stand out compared to other options. The sanctuary has a wonderful pipe organ and lovely stained glass throughout. If your looking for a traditional church wedding, there’s really no beating this place.

Lesley was very accommodating and responsive regarding all site visits and setup updates. She even let us stay late for the rehearsal after we got blocked for an hour by traffic. She also gave us a list of caterers, florists, etc. after we first met. All our vendors were from that list, and worked great!

Seriously, I can’t believe how magical and painless Lesley and Events on 6th made our ceremony!

The staff treat you like family and very helpful. They don’t make up prices or go up on you with lies. They are listeners and want to see your event go just how you plan it. Hospitality was amazing and will help you find whatever you need from photographers, caterers , DJ’s AND SO MUCH MORE! They cater to your wants and needs from beginning to end. We are very pleased we held our wedding ceremony and reception at Events on 6th. Lesley was our point of contact throughout our planning. She was friendly, flexible, professional, and a straightforward and quick communicator. She was knowledgeable and organized from the first tour to the wedding day. She answered pretty much any questions or concerns we had and offered options and solutions. We felt that she genuinely cared and wanted to ensure our planning and special day went smoothly. Also, she worked really well with our other vendors and was a wonderful member of the team. We love love loved the venue…it has so much to offer. The exterior and interior is beautiful all around. There’s a great flow from the main entrance through the chapel, the lounge and courtyard, and the reception hall. The separate bridal and groom suite and an extra sitting room for my family visiting from abroad were wonderful bonuses. Events on 6th is worth checking out if charming and effortless fits your wedding day style. Not to mention, there were tons of great spaces throughout the venue for our photographer to capture our day. Events on 6th and Lesley had a lasting impression on us and our guests. Events on 6th was a terrific place to have our wedding. We had around 80 guests which left for plenty of space. The sanctuary where our ceremony was a beautiful setting. The reception room is attached and made for ultimate convenience. The courtyard are was a popular place for folks to get fresh air and converse. The lobby area was a great fit for our photo booth which was a big hit at our wedding. Outside Events is a beautiful backdrop for our wedding photos primarily the stairs and the front door. Also Events is affordable and working with Lesley was easy and she was great in accommodating. My new bride and highly recommend Events on 6th. We found this venue on line, Meet with Lesley and just her kindness made my daughter and I so comfortable! Weddings can be stressful but working with Lesley it was perfect! Events on 6th is perfect for a chapel wedding as well as reception all at the same place! It's beautiful! The moment we walked into Events on 6th I could imagine having our wedding here. I told my now husband that I could see myself walking down to him in this amazing chapel! The venue speaks for itself, little decoration made this place beyond magnificent! The venue coordinator Lesley is an amazing lady! She went above and beyond to help ease our worries as we were holding one of the largest guest wedding and reception! She gave us many ideas and also worked very well in communicating with us! Events on 6th is a perfect place to hold both ceremony and reception!

I loved this place! Beautiful lighting, lots of great photo ops, and a great reception hall too. Lesley from Events on 6th was easy to work with, and really went out of her way to make it special and smooth. The table and chair rentals were included, and she had them set up for us early so we could decorate before the day and not fuss. Very quick to respond, and every detail we could have asked for was provided at the start which made planning a snap. So very happy that we chose to have our wedding here.

One of the things I looked for when picking vendors was how attentive they were to what we wanted and how knowledgeable they were about their services. Lesley was simply amazing in both of these areas. She took careful notes during our initial visit and conversations and in the follow up conversations she remembered what we wanted. She was very organized, which we really appreciated.

We wanted a venue where we could have the ceremony and reception in the same place. This worked fine for that (we had around 175 people). The chapel was beautiful. We didn't have to decorate at all in this room because the wood pews and stained glass windows were great as is.

Choosing Events on 6th as our wedding venue is one of the best decision that my husband and I made. Events on 6th had made our wedding look so BEAUTIFUL and stunning!! All of our guests compliment the venue and decorations. Every area of the room is classic and elegant. We loved to have our ceremony and reception all in this one gorgeous place. As someone who loves Christ, I've been dreaming to get married in a beautiful church and on my wedding day, I'm so blessed that my dream came true! I believe it's not just the ceremony agenda and the religious service, the sanctuary had contributed to making the holy matrimony felt so powerful! Most of our guests gave us that feedback. Lesley was also very helpful, kind, friendly, prompt, reliable and flexible. She's very patient in handling all of our questions and concerns. She's also very organized and pleasant to work with. We had around 170 guests at our wedding. Everyone can sit on the round table with enough room to dance. No one complained about parking (mainly because we told our guests ahead of time to carpool and give them the map for the parking area). We all had a fantastic time celebrating our happiest day at Events on 6th. We totally recommend this venue to all of our friends and family. Thank you, Lesley and Events on 6th to make our wedding day unique, memorable and perfect!!!

Leslie is just phenomenal to work with, beyond smart and fun. The venue was breathtaking, everything we had hoped for and more. We loved that it had both ceremony and reception areas, each with slightly different vibes. Our guests LOVED not having to go from one venue to another. Parking seems like it is going to be a problem, but we had 150 people and not a single person mentioned the difficulty of parking, they said it was super easy to find close street parking. I could not recommend this venue more. A great bang for the buck!

My wife and I are so pleased that we had our wedding reception at Events on 6th. We are lucky to have worked with Lesley. She is professional and knows her stuff. She was easy to reach and speak to and promptly responded the few times that we did not connect with each other immediately. The space is exactly what we were looking for with separate courtyard, lounge and dance hall areas. The separate (yet connected) areas and the pretty white lights strung about the courtyard and dance areas are what sold us on the venue. There was ample space for our guests (about 80) to dine at round tables and to dance. Our reception was perfect and our guests were impressed with the site. If we had to do it all over again, we would still pick Events on 6th. Thank you so much to Lesley and Events on 6th. You made our wedding day complete!

Events on 6th was the perfect place that I was looking for. I wanted to go to a more traditional route and get married in a church / chapel. This place is beautiful on the inside. From the big door entrance, to the stone, the hard wood floors, all the way to stained glass windows. It's great that we were able to hold the ceremony and the reception all in one place, which was our other requirement. I loved that there is a lounge area / garden which is where we held our cocktail hour.
We set up a cheese and crackers / candy table as well as an open bar so our guests were able to have a drink and a snack before the reception. It does involve more work, however, because you have to find your own caterer, bartender, decorator, DJ, etc. They do have preffered caterers and the venue does hold an open house for you to be able to meet them and see their work :)

Lastly, I want to comment on how great it was to work with Lesley! She was quick to reply to emails and she always kept us updated with updates on with the venue, parking, if she's on vacation etc.

The best of both worlds! With the Sanctuary, you get this vintage feel with old world charm - Stained glass windows, beautiful wooden altar, and lots of windows for natural light. It is truly a beautiful canvas but kept simple that only gets better with accented decor and floral arrangements. The lounge is very mid century and modern which serves as a great space for gathering, hors d'oeuvres, and bar services. This space is also well lit and is great for photo ops or photo booths.. The Bridal and Groom suits are perfectly decorated for their purposes. The reception hall is truly a blank canvas which I love! It definitely gives you a modern/industrial feel with the exposed ceiling but the hanging lights really tie it all together. You don't need a lot of decor. I love that there is a specified space for the food so that it doesn't take away from the main seating. There is also a kitchen in a separate room for food storage and such. Last but not least, the courtyard aka my favorite space! The hanging lights tie in with the romantic/urban feel and is such a cute space for guests to gather and cool off. It connects to the reception hall and the lounge. This venue is truly more bang for your buck! You really get 4 beautiful spaces for you and all of your guests to enjoy. Everyone, including myself, really enjoyed celebrating at Events on 6th. Lesley and her team were more than accommodating. The communication was exceptional in the year we have been planning and we are just SO pleased with how everything turned out. I highly recommend this venue for any occasion but especially a wedding. For such a stressful event, Lesley really made it as seamless as possible and I cannot thank her enough.

I've been a Christian almost my entire life; however, I have always bounced around from church to church and have never felt like I've had a true "home church". That being said, when it came time to get married I wanted the ceremony to be in a church I just didn't have one that felt like home. My extensive search led to me Events on 6th, the photos online looked beautiful and I was so excited to see the venue in person. I contacted Lesley (the venue manager) late one evening and had a response from her by the time I woke up the next morning! We set up a same day appointment so I could see the venue in person, and wow did it exceed my expectations. I fell in love with the chapel's large stained glass windows that allowed ample natural lighting. I also loved the dark oak pews, and stone exterior of the church. Being able to have the ceremony and reception at the same location was a bonus. We used the foyer as a lounge, complete with couches, for cocktail hour and set up several cocktail tables, an appetizer table, and a wine bar. We also served beer at our reception and decided to go with kegs because they were most cost effective. I was so nervous to have kegs on display at the wedding; however, there is a perfect service closet that we served the beer from that kept the kegs out of sight! Because we split up the wine and beer we did have to hire two bartenders, but we think this helped spread out guests so we didn't have everyone clustered in one area. With 180 guests we were nervous about space being an issue, but there was plenty of room. The reception hall comfortably fit 17 round tables, 4 rectangular tables (as the head tables), the cake table, a DJ booth, and all our guests! Because we maxed out space in the reception hall we used the courtyard as our "dance floor" and it worked out perfectly! Our DJ set up two speakers, one in the reception hall for toasts & speeches, and one in the courtyard for dancing. Overall this venue was perfect for us!

I am so glad we went with Events on 6th Ave. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect in every single way. The venue is gorgeous!!! Working with Lesley who is the point of contact was very good. She was able to always be flexible when needing to meet because my husband and I worked crazy schedules for awhile. She was always so sweet and very knowledgeable. If she didn't know the answer she would find it out quickly and get back to you. Also, when we would have walk throughs to look around and get ideas she was send me an email a few days later with an outline of what we went over. Saying we I mean me (bride), wedding coordinator, and maid of honor. I loved getting those emails so I made sure I didn't forget anything. I highly recommend having your wedding here. It is beautiful in every single room. It flowed so perfectly for guests. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful vendor to work with! Made our experience with the wedding planning painless.

We just got married at Events on 6th, and it was everything we had hoped for and more!

Our main requirement when we were looking for a place was that we wanted our ceremony/reception all in one spot. We also love old architecture and retro styles but with modern touches - our 100-year old house is a mix of old and new stuff. As soon as we walked into Events on 6th we knew it was the place for us - it almost felt like walking into our dream home! We loved the ceremony/altar area; we aren’t religious, but loved the stained glass and pews for that “old church” feel. We also loved the lobby/reception area with the white leather couches and chandeliers and string lights - it was very “Mad Men” yet modern at the same time, and still worked well with the ceremony area. The bridal area and grooms area are beautifully done, and I liked that there was an additional room available as well with a couch; I know it's generally reserved for the officiant, but we used it for our families to be able to change in after getting everything set up.

Our wedding would not have been possible without Lesley, who was so amazing throughout this whole process – we were planning this long-distance and dealing with time zone differences, insane work schedules, and overall craziness...any questions we had were answered promptly, she was so organized and friendly and helpful - sending us reminders for when things needed to be completed (I completely had forgotten we needed a liquor license! Without her reminder we would have shown up without it!) and also sent different blueprints of how others had set up tables in for the reception to give us ideas on how to plan our area out, and also a map of the area for parking options. Thank you thank you thank you Lesley for everything!

We found "Events on 6th" to be the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. You're not just renting a huge empty space - but a gorgeous Gothic church filled with architectural history. Our guests not only enjoyed the large reception area but roamed the entire facility from the beautiful chapel to the relaxing lounge & bar area w/outside courtyard. The bride & bridal party also had plenty of room to get ready & pamper themselves in the spacious bridal suite. From the first time we toured "Events on 6th", Leslie, the events coordinator, was absolutely wonderful. She was filled with good creative ideas to help make our evening go smoothly. She responds to every phone call & text immediately and even accepted our offer of being our wedding processional coordinator!! Our evening was very special because of her help!! I would highly recommend "Events of 6th" to everyone planning a wedding!!

My wife and I loved this place. She chose it because of the spacious chapel, the stained glass, the lounge area, the rooms for bridesmaids and groomsmen as well as the wonderful reception hall. Our perfect wedding day went without a hitch because of our point of contact Lesley. She was great, she was responsive in a timely manner, very professional and very helpful. My husband and I had several requirements when selecting a wedding venue: 1) An all in one location for both the ceremony and reception, 2) An indoor location to avoid potential weather issues, 3) A place with history and character, and 4) A venue within our budget. Events on 6th truly delivered on all of these areas, and we feel truly blessed to have found such a fantastic space. The history of the building adds an incredible sense of charm and character, and honors the history of Tacoma and the 6th Ave District in particular. The space is simply perfect for weddings with fewer than 160 guests, and somehow manages to feel both intimate and spacious at the same time. We were extremely grateful for the prompt responses from the venue throughout the planning process when questions or last-minute concerns arose. Both the reception and ceremony spaces (plus lovely interior courtyard) are truly beautiful on their own, and required very little decorative additions to make them feel like our own personal wedding. The generous vendor list, and extended rehearsal time (2 hours vs. the common 1 hour) only capped off our positive feelings about Events on 6th. We are simply grateful that we found such a beautiful and perfect location to say our "I do's", and would wholeheartedly recommend the venue to anyone planning a wedding. Thank you, Events on 6th, for making our wedding dreams a reality.

Beautiful location wrapped in a unique venue that was recently renovated and restored to its historic beauty. My guests were very impressed with our venue and I couldn't have been happier with the service, location and the value. This is not your average cookie-cutter wedding venue, there is so much detailing in the chapel and especially loved the string lights in the reception area. I had the great pleasure of holding my wedding ceremony and reception at Events on 6th this past summer. What a wonderful place it was! I had so many people tell me how beautiful/cool/unique the venue was. It looked fabulous in pictures and the reception area allowed for plenty of different zones- the dance floor, the buffet room, the lounge for people who wanted to talk without the noise of a band or d.j., and the hallway where I set up a photo booth. There was great flow through the different areas during the reception, so the space never felt crowded despite having 150+ people.

While the venue itself provides tons of benefits and beauty, what really made Events on 6th so wonderful was the staff. I worked mostly with Beth. She is calm, knowledgeable, easy-going and doesn't have that "salesperson" personality. She helped me stay calm and focused during the rehearsal and day of the wedding. She took care of small details that I never thought to delegate to someone. She felt like a good friend rather than a venue coordinator.

The only down side would be that it was very hot (80 degrees) the day of my wedding and the venue has no air conditioning. The sanctuary would have been pretty uncomfortable if I had a ceremony longer than 30 minutes. For most of the year, this wouldn't be a problem though. Beth and Kim brought huge fans into the reception hall, which helped a lot (as did opening the courtyard doors). Just something to think about if you have a summer wedding planned!

Parking could seem like a problem as there are few spots owned by Events on 6th, but we called the paid parking lot next to the venue and rented it out for our guests. It was very inexpensive.

Having our wedding at Events on 6th! was the best decision (other than saying yes to my husband) that we made during the whole getting married process. I first looked at the website before we were engaged, and fell in love. Because it was out of my very small budget, I moved on in looking for other venues. I kept going back to the Events on 6th website and just couldn't help feeling that it would be the perfect place. After searching long and hard and not finding anyone else that came close to the same feeling I got from Events on 6th!, my parents agreed it was the one place that was the right fit and agreed to booking them for me! We were NOT disappointed. Not only was the whole wedding day so great, but our pictures are GORGEOUS and Laura and Beth made it a very easy process and went above and beyond in customer service to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who loves the architecture, the vintage feel, or just wants a CLASSY place to tie the knot!

Events on 6th was the perfect venue for our wedding! The staff was so helpful, both before the wedding, and the day of the wedding. Our questions were answered very quickly, and we were given a lot of helpful resources for planning, recommendations on vendors, and all the details to make sure the whole event ran smooth. The day of the wedding, the staff was extra helpful ensuring everything was set up just as we wanted.

I loved being able to have the ceremony and the reception in the same location. Both the sanctuary and the reception area worked great. We had a large photo booth and cocktail tables in the lounge, which worked well with the courtyard for a lot of room for guests to spread out and have fun. The catering area and kitchen with serving window worked great for the bar. I loved that they had their own tables and nice chairs. The groom's den and bridal suite were perfect for hanging out and getting ready, and the bridal suite was a beautiful setting for "getting ready" pictures. It was a little warm in the bridal suite in the summer, but I hear they have installed air conditioner in there now to make it more comfortable.

I was initially worried about the parking with the residential area surrounding Events on 6th, and I rented the parking lot next door which was very inexpensive (~$40 for around 35 spots), but there was plenty of good parking in the residential area for about 150 guests.

I could not have imagined a better venue for our wedding! I hope to have other events there, too. It's a great place for a party!

Events on 6th is a wonderful place to have your wedding venue. We loved that the wedding and reception is in place. Leslie is wonderful to work with! The venue is absolutely beautiful.

Events on 6th was absolutely amazing. The venue is incredible. Beautiful stained glass and dark wood doors, the cutest bridal and grooms suite, very space-ish, large reception room, overall it was perfect! We barely needed decorations because the venue itself was already so beautiful. Lesley was so great to work with. She always responded quickly and answered every question I had and helped with every little detail. I work recommend Events on 6th to anyone. They helped make our special day absolutely perfect.

We originally chose Events on 6th because of the beautiful, gothic inspired architecture. We quickly realized the benefits of having the entire production (getting ready, ceremony, cocktails, reception, photography) in one location. The sanctuary was BEAUTIFUL and seated 200 comfortably; the balcony was a great spot for the videographer and music set up. The lounge area, complete with fireplace was a perfect cocktail area. If the weather had held, we would have made use of the outdoor courtyard as well. The reception hall is well laid out and accommodates many different floor plans. Lesley was wonderful to work with, prompt with replies and ideas and seemed genuinely interested in making our day as special as we wanted. Our guests repeatedly commented on how great the venue was and appreciated not having to travel between ceremony and reception locations. Go check it out!

Perfect place of you font have to break the budget and have everything all at one location. A mix between modern and antique.

Without a doubt I recommend this venue for any bride searching for a romantic and flexible space. Laura is extremely easy and fun to work with. My favorite part was a well-manicured courtyard space that connects the 1960s mod lounge to the reception space.

Venue Coordinator: Laura was an AMAZING person to work with as the venue coordinator. Laura was also very personable and treated us like we were her only couple getting married going way out of her way to help us. I cannot overstate how much we both enjoyed working with her.
Ceremony Space: The church is a beautiful old Baptist church with a great stained glass window that you can see facing away from the stage. The wood has all been refinished and looked gorgeous, but the room can echo. We had our DJ set up a wireless mic for our officiate, though, which made the sound perfect. A church has been renting the space to use for Sundays, and has put up some padding on the walls (not too noticeable) as well as carpeting down the main aisle.
Reception Space: It’s a beautiful space, although it may be small for larger weddings. There is a small room we used as a photo booth room, and because the space is relatively small (you can fit around 80 people on round tables comfortably) and we had about 150 guests we made our reception a cocktail and dessert reception. There was plenty of room that way to have a good sized dance floor, some large round tables, a few bistro tables, and three dessert tables.
If you're looking for a place that will do everything for you, this is not the place for you as you'll have to make a lot of arrangements for yourself, but Laura is very helpful in recommending vendors. But, if you want a beautiful, unique, customizable space (which we think everyone should want!) then we recommend this place without reservation. A lot of our guests have told us this was the best wedding they've ever been to, and we attribute a lot of that to the event space and the help we got from Laura.

Our daughter and son-in-law were recently married at Events on 6th. As parents of the bride, we found this to be an ideal setting for a wedding. It provides a lovely church-like setting for the marriage ceremony and as well as a nicely lit and open space for a reception, sit-down dinner and dancing. There are also smaller areas available for quieter conversation. Everything needed for a wedding in one location! We found the staff to be very accommodating to work with and responsive to our questions. We had an excellent experience with Events on 6th.

The chapel is beautiful and Lesley is wonderful to work with. She is very professional and communicates all the details in a timely manner. It is good to have a your ideas of how you want to set up prior to your 1 hour planning session and take lots of photos of the rooms so you can refer back to those photos as you finalize your plans for how you want to decorate.

The venue was gorgeous, and really worked out for us, as we aren't religious, but wanted something with a hint of traditional feel. Since this is an old church, but also an event space, it worked out. We had initially wanted our wedding on the weekend, but the venue is rented out to a church who would have been in the space during the time we wanted, so we opted for a mid-week date instead. It is a really beautiful space, and was really a pleasant experience overall. The outdoor courtyard looked amazing in the pictures, and the reception room was just right for the smaller crowd. I'm sure it would comfortably accomodate a lot more, but I would think that many more than 100 would be pushing it. As for the cost- I think places that host weddings are overpriced to start, and this was really no different, At ~3k plus deposit...it just felt like a lot. But, it was less expensive and a nicer place than Thornewood, without the added worry that there will be B&B guests wandering through. All things considered, it was a beautiful venue with friendly, attentive staff.

This is a great venue! Very pretty and it has a lot to offer. The bride's room was fabulous and we loved the courtyard which we utilized as a photo booth and guest book station. If there are multiple events during your desired weekend, scheduling a rehearsal can be a little tricky. Lesley is great to work with and very responsive when questions are asked. The photo ops outside the front door are fantastic! My daughter and her new husband couldn't have been happier with their choice to marry here.

July 19th 2019 Maurice and Ashley’s Wedding

We had a very nice 3 hour time slot here because we weren’t needing all day, so I was very pleased to find out they were able to charge me for more of an Elopement package. We got everything besides the giant banquet hall which I feel like ended up saving us some money! Everyone said the chapel was so beautiful

Events on 6th is a BEAUTIFUL venue that was perfect for our traditional wedding. The manager was very quick to respond to any sort of question we had and worked with us on so many things! Not much decoration is needed for this site because of the beautiful chapel and reception areas. This is a perfect location if you're looking for a traditional church venue with stain glass windows, wooden pews and charm.

We loved this venue and overall where happy with our choice. Lesley was great to work with, helpful, kind and professional. The only problem we had was there were some plumbing issues in the bathrooms during our reception so that was rather unfortunate, assuming those have been adequately addressed, I would highly recommend this venue. Do note, that if you are hoping for a piano for music, you will have to rent one and this venue is a little picky about drop off and pick up times of the piano. Also keep in mind the number of people the space can hold is a generous estimate. We ended up with about 150 guests at the reception and it was fine, more than 160 I think you will be very cramped, even though it says they can accommodate 180. In the end, it worked very well for us!

Beautiful venue but didn't have common things like sound system, ice machine, and changed for extra parking and caterer not on their list.
