Our Wedding Day
Kim with events and Moore, was so incredibly helpful. She was very responsive happy to Connect with us as many times as needed to ensure the tasks were done correctly. Kim has so much experience and was able to identify areas that we had never even thought about. I wish we found events and Moore sooner so that we could’ve utilize them for more. -

Event and Moore was so Helpful!
I highly recommend events and Moore! I worked with both Kim and Jazmine and they both did an amazing job. They brought up and helped me work through things for the wedding that I hadn’t even thought about. Jazmine did an amazing job helping run our rehearsal the night before, keeping us on a tight timeline the day of, and helping set up/with any other miscellaneous things we needed. Definitely recommend! -

Can't go wrong with this coordinator....
We used Kimberly as our day of wedding coordinator - but she did so much more. From the start she offered advice and recommendations - even before we signed. We had our wedding in our backyard and she came on site early to review our plans and help with determining positioning and timing for the vendors. The week prior, she was available for all of our calls (last minute details are the most tedious); and the day of, she just took over from the start - even ironing some new table cloths we had just purchased for the wedding! She made sure we were ready and in place for our scheduled events.
Kimberly is certainly someone we would highly recommend for anyone planning a wedding - you will be in good hands! -

Great experience working with Jazmine
I had a great experience working with Jazmine. I was excited to have her be the day of coordinator, she was super helpful with coordinating my vendors and making sure everything was squared away. She kept me very organized and helped bring my wedding vision to life. Very thankful for all the work Jazmine put into my wedding day. -

Look No Further For the Ceremony of Your Dreams!
Scott is exceptional in every way. I have known him personally for years and he was my first choice to officiate our wedding in August 2020. Scott took the time to really get to know both my husband and I prior to the day and created wedding vows and a ceremony perfect for our needs (ask him about doing a tequila shot as a unity ceremony ;) ). He went the extra mile for us at every step, going as far as to coordinate with our DJ and using his own personal equipment to manage a Zoom ceremony for our guest unable to attend due to the pandemic. He was very flexible as we adjusted due to COVID-related issues and was down for anything. He answered emails quickly and he handled delivering our marriage license as well! Scott truly made our day special and perfect for us. We can't thank him enough for everything.-

Ran a seamless event
We hired Kim for day-of coordination of our DIY park wedding. She ran everything behind the scenes and we never had to deal with any issues during the ceremony and reception. We highly recommend her. -

Perfect experience!
Scott was our officiant for our wedding on 6/22/19 and he was amazing! He made our ceremony so memorable and unique and we felt so valued and important on our special day. He was willing to accommodate our unique family and our needs and preferences, and his pricing was incredibly affordable. -

The man who made our best day, even better.
Scott was phenomenal, there are really know other words to describe him. He made our best day so special & was the calm that we needed. I really loved how Scott got to know us both & dug deep in our relationship, we will forever cherish the words he spoke during the ceremony. Thank you for everything, Scott. -

Class act & very personalized service
Scott was a pleasure to work with! He had a number of different services to choose from, so you can get as personalized as you'd like. He met with us on our schedule to get to know our story. He communicated back and forth a number of times to create a service we loved!! He really understood what we were going for and delivered the perfect ceremony. He speaks clearly and naturally. I highly recommend Scott if you're looking for a unique and personal service! We got a lot of compliments about how "us" the service was. -

I recently attended a wedding where Scott Moore was the officiant. I was impressed by the ceremony. Scott personalized the service so well to the bride and groom. He told the story of their love and courtship. His words certainly portrayed the happiness of the occasion for the couple as well as their guests.

Scott officiated our wedding and it was perfect for us! He took time to get to know both of us and tailor the ceremony to our personalities and what we wanted. Rehearsal and ceremony both went smoothly.

Kim and the staff at Events & Moore were very accommodating. I did all of the planning for my wedding, but needed someone that I could seek advice for ideas/vendors and day of execution. Kim even helped me find daycare for my Yorkies. She goes above and beyond. I did not have to worry about anything or have stress on my wedding day. Kim and team made sure everything went smoothly. She is so flexible and customizes her services to fit what the bride needs.

Kim Moore was Awesome!!!! She worked with us and our budget. I had certain family members that were upset that I was having children at my wedding, well Kim fixed that by providing a kid table and section. There were many activities and certified state worker there to watch the children. I had a little situation where a uninvited guest was trying to make underage children to drink and her date was hitting on me. Kim took care of this problem very professionally. -

My Wife and I met Kim and her daughter at a bridal show in Lansing. Up to that point we were trying to organize the entire wedding ourselves. We were having trouble finding someone to do the set up and take down. Kim's prices seemed very reasonable so we hired her as a coordinator. Kim met with us several times to handle details (most of which we hadn't thought about). Kim was always very professional and she really made the process less scary. I don't think we could have pulled it all off with out her and her daughter Jessica's help. If I had to find one issue it was that a few times I was able to get prices lower than she could but I am a very tough negotiator;) On the day before, Kim and crew were not able to set up (the venue were being jerks) so they had to get up early on the morning of to set up , Kim was in charge and everything went perfect. After the reception ended, they stayed late into the night to remove all the decorations. I would definitely recommend Events & Moore to anyone looking for a wedding planner.

My experience with Events & Moore was wonderful. The event was a surprise birthday party. They prepared the venue, recommended a local bakery, helped us make favors, and stored the party materials for several weeks before the event. As an added bonus, they were willing to participate in the surprise and fashioned a cover story (helping to set up for a wedding) that was very effective. -

I had no idea how to plan a wedding, but with the help of Events & Moore, it turned out wonderful! They worked very hard to accommodate my needs & wants. If it hadn't have been for Events & Moore, the bride and I would not have been able to handle all the final details that are involved in preparing for a large event.
From the individual meetings before the wedding, to the floral arrangements, set up and tear down of decorations for/at the reception and the special touches that were done to make the bride feel more special were so much appreciated.
During the reception we had a problem with the food but they handled this with great expertise and gave suggestions on what could be done to make the reception run smoothly.

Events & More were very accomodating. Since I was doing all the planning and decorating my biggest concern was the execution of making it all happen. They were there before and after the event to insure that all things were done and handled. Their flexibility in service was why I chose them. They would do what ever I

Kim was very helpful in so many ways. I bounced ideas off her. She would consider what would be aesthetically pleasing as well as what would flow with my general program. She always took into account my individual taste.
When working on the jewelery which she provided for myself, my mom, soon to be mother in law, and all of my bridesmaids, she took time to make me a couple demos, then when I wanted to make slight changes, she had no issue with that. She made sure I left with EXACTLY what I wanted!!
We started with a necklace for me that I would wear during the wedding day. Last minute I found something online I liked more, but it looked like it would be too difficult to make and expensive. This was 6 days before the wedding!! Kim not only got the new necklace done, custom made for a more than fair price, she delivered to me, and I loved it!! I think I had as many compliments on the necklace as I did my wedding dress!!

Don’t do it!
We hired Kim for help with our wedding and from the very beginning, it was not a great experience. She was incredibly difficult to get in contact with from the very beginning. She showed up super late to our day for set up and rehearsal and was extremely rude to every single person she spoke to. She showed up over 2 hours late to the day of my wedding so my bridesmaids and mother had to do pretty much everything she had said she was going to do (set up centerpieces/set up chairs/etc). Part of the package we paid for was for her to help with set up and tear down and she 1. Didn’t do ANY set up and 2. When it came to tear down, she wanted to start clearing the tables around 7 pm (even though the wedding went until 11) because she wanted to leave early. She didn’t contact ANY of my vendors to coordinate with them for the day of the wedding to ensure they knew where to set up. Literally one of my bridesmaids had to call the bakery that made our desserts to see where he was since she had not called and when asked, stated “I didn’t think I had to”. The way she spoke to people (myself included) was absolutely horrendous, to the point where all the other vendors (catering, DJ, bartender, etc) even had issues with her. I literally cannot believe any of the good reviews she has. As a warning, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! -

Do not bother
I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel this one is necessary - save yourself the frustration, stress, and money and do not hire Kim as your wedding coordinator. Our correspondence leading up to the big day was chaotic and disorganized but I kept thinking "I'm sure she has a lot going on and that the day of everything will be fine". It wasn't. All we needed from her was to keep us on schedule and meet with our vendors the day of as they arrived on site. Very simply, but she did not deliver on that at all - probably because she was too busy interrupting special moments to gab and shoot the shit. We also had numerous comments from our wedding party, parents, and vendors that she was bossy and rude. I had people coming up to me while I was trying to get ready and they were saying "your vendors are here and have not seen your wedding coordinator and they need to know where to go". All that, despite the fact that I gave her a clear timeline of when each vendor was arriving.
I had people coming up to me and my husband asking for directions on many occasions when the whole reason we hired her was so that didn't happen. Another great moment was when, prior to the wedding, we had discussed having a person gather all the glasses at the end of the night and put them in the tubs so they could be easily removed in the morning. She volunteered herself and her husband to do that and said that she would just charge us extra. So we checked that off our list, all taken care of! Not. Right after dinner my husband and I are chatting with our bridal party at the table, the best man speech is about to happen, and she comes up to us and says "Okay i'm taking off for the night and your bartender is asking who is going to clean up the glasses" and we both told her she said she would do that to which she said " Uhhh are you sure? Well I don't remember that and am taking off so who is going to do it?"
Luckily our bartenders were amazing and handled the glasses at the end of the night. There were many other small annoyances that I'll spare everyone on but trust me when I say that you will be better off having literally anyone else coordinate your wedding.
