Events cherished went above and beyond for our day of coordination! I love that they started talking with us 3 months out, and planned every moment to the last minute. We loved having a detailed timeline. And for any small bumps the day of, they handled everything gracefully! Em worked with us as our primary coordinator and from the very first moment she showed an immense amount of compassion and patience with our planning. We appreciate how thoroughly she reviewed the itinerary and kept track of the large and small details, whether it was the hair and makeup schedule or the list of return gifts for every event. She adapted to various changes professionally and did an excellent job keeping everyone on task during our big day. -

Went above and beyond for my wedding
This is a great planning and coordinating team. They were on top of things from the start. I booked them for coordination. They start the process 3 months prior, which is thw best part about this team. I couldn't have had the successful wedding that I had if I had booked coordinators who jumped in couple weeks before or even just a month before.
I created genuine connection with Sonia and thw rest of her team. They made me feel comfortable and confident throughout each event.
I thought I was going to be a nervous bride, but I had complete faith in this team and didn't feel nervous at all.
I'd recommend them for future weddings. -

Happily Ever After Party
Sonia and her team were incredible from the initial phone call through our post wedding party! Incredibly well organized and knowledgeable about venues and vendors, they made every step easy. Zoom calls were highly productive and I appreciated Sonia’s willingness to negotiate with vendors/venue on my behalf. Day of the party-Sonia and her team were on site and insured every aspect of the party was precisely delivered as planned. I never had a concern the entire day. I could not have had a more successful and joyous event. Thank you Sonia and Team. -

My wife and I could not have asked for a better planning team!!
Any question you could possibly have, it seems they have come across that problem at least a dozen times. They know most, if not all the local vendors, and work intimately with many of the major local wedding venues. We actually met her during another family's wedding while we were touring the Brooklake Country Club, and ended up going with that venue and her team as our planners. They were courteous, thoughtful, and just the right amount of demanding during the planning process. Her team speaks with authority on logistical matters when it comes to the planning process. They can pretty much make any of your wildest requests work within the bounds of reason, and act as an arbiter when opinions differ between bride/groom and parents.
We planned a indo-chinese fusion 1 day ceremony and reception with her. Her team was absolutely on top of everything on the day of. As incredible as the planning was, we were just as impressed with the clean and coordinated improvisation on the day of for just the small occasions during the day that needed it. -

We worked with Events Cherished, primarily interfacing with Sonia and Marianne and had a terrific experience.
We hired them about a 11 months prior to our wedding. Of all the wedding planners we met, Sonia and her team were clearly the most organized and understanding.
After hiring them, they were incredibly organized, with the goals and timeline for each meeting always well outlined. They helped us negotiate with vendors to get the best prices and are well acquainted with seemingly every vendor and event venue in the NJ/NYC area.
On the day the events they were present and vigilant to make sure all things were taken care of smoothly, in a manner where we could just leave things in their hands and not worry.
Perhaps most importantly, Sonia and Marianne are able to toe the line of offering honest opinions and feedback about wedding ideas, while also respecting and understand their clients' goals. This is akin to a great stylist or architect and a very rare quality to find. -

We are south Asian wedding DJ. We had the pleasure of working with Events cherished over the weekend at The Willard DC / 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC, 20004 on Punjabi & Jewish Baraat wedding and Reception on 03-15-2025 and 03-16-2025 and the experience was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, everything was well-organized and seamless. Events cherished's team provided a detailed timeline that kept everything on track, and the planning process was smooth with client meetings via Google Meets, Call and Zoom.
The entire team was incredibly professional, down-to-earth, and a joy to work with. If you’re a couple planning your wedding in state or overseas worldwide, I highly recommend Events cherished for your big day. Their attention to detail and dedication makes all the difference!

I am not sure this space is enough to write my review about team Events Cherished.....they were INCREDIBLE!!
Sonia and Team EC which included Marina (for a bit), Olivia and Marianne are absolutely the BEST event planners we could have had for all the "Nair Chili" events. We had only 7 months to plan our events, but every time we spoke, Sonia would always reply, "I got it Aunty" and I so loved hearing her "Hana Ji" (I am going to miss it), it would always calm me and give me that feeling of reassurance, positivity and that she has my back! From our first impromptu conversation, with her pups barking made me love the person on the other side of the call...Thank you to John Martin for introducing me to Team EC and Sonia.
Their professionalism was shown in every step of our journey, as to replying to emails or phone calls, making sure we got all our questions and concerns clarified, explaining the process in detail, to all the family meeting calls, to suggesting vendors and or going with our choices, everything seemed to go smoothly and on the day of all our events, the way they managed time, the flow of events, the final execution was just superb!! Sonia and Marianne ran the show for us. We were guests at our own events, team EC did everything and allowed us to enjoy our events. All our family and friends are still talking about how everything worked like clockwork....all that credit goes to TEAM EVENTS CHERISHED to the fullest!!

When we first started planning a wedding, we immediately knew that we would need help with both of us working full time jobs, and being the first in our generation to get married. We were so clueless! Thank goodness we met Sonia at one of my friend's wedding!
From the first meeting, we knew we could trust Sonia and her team to be our advocates. From budget planning to vendor selection, they were with us at every step of the way!
Sonia and her team were sure to take care of all the hiccups, big ticket items, and last minute details so that we could just enjoy being the bride and groom. Most importantly, my family was able to truly be present and enjoy the wedding ceremony because they knew Events Cherished was taking care of everything else. For us, this validated our decision to hire Events Cherished. They were so professional, responsive, creative, and just extremely lovely human beings!

Perfection!
My wedding weekend was May 5-7, 2022 - I’ve taken this long to write my review because, thanks to Events Cherished, I have been on cloud nine for how absolutely spectacular the entire weekend went, that I don’t want to let go of the moments! :) We were referred to Sonia and her team by a close family friend who had nothing but praise. They were 100% right. From the beginning, Sonia & Nicole were friendly, helpful, made sure none of us were stressed by any means, and above all, organized! I can’t express how well planned they are to make sure that the wedding weekend was a success. They understood our budget without ever questioning anything and worked around our needs. To me, this is very important because let’s face it, everyone has different goals when it comes to this aspect. There were many personal touches that my husband & I wanted in our wedding, and Sonia & Nicole made sure each and every one of them happened. The decor was exactly to my vision - simple, elegant, beautiful. The day of wedding coordination literally went without a flaw. This is not an exaggeration. Every single aspect of the weekend was on time, in fact, some ending earlier, which allowed me, as the bride, to soak in every moment and be humbled for all the love and excitement that was apparent. Sonia & Nicole made sure that as the bride, the groom, and our mothers were under no stress at all. You can’t ask for anything better from wedding coordinators/event planners.
