Above and beyond!
Joe was fantastic! We didn’t give much direction with music other than our songs, and no line dances and he delivered! Our venue also required certain permits and fire extinguishers for our sparklers and he made sure it got done for us! Have recommended joe to everyone and will continue to! -

Can't stop getting compliments from my guests on how good DJ Joe was!
Throughout our wedding process, events by GM were professional and patient while we figured out exactly what we wanted to do. They helped us feel comfortable in our first dance and run of show for the big day. The songs complemented all of our guests' preferences and everyone loved the music. My only complaint is despite my better judgment, I did not change out of my wedding heels and wound up with giant blisters from dancing all night. Would highly recommend them for your event! -

Best Wedding DJ!
Killer DJ and exactly what we were looking for at our wedding! We received so many compliments after the wedding and everyone had an awesome time. They played exactly what we asked for at our reception, and helped a ton with the sound at our ceremony. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! -

Best DJ Ever
Joe literally made our wedding so much fun! No one ever left the dance floor, to the point my mom was icing her knee the next day lol. Joe was so responsive in the booking / planning process. I never once worried the day of about his promptness. Highly recommend Events By GM & DJ Joe Bertolini !! -

Exceeded Expectations
Could not have asked for a better dance floor! Jay and Dan were the absolute best, and we will forever be thankful. A wedding without these DJ’s is a wedding I wouldn’t want to go to -

Outstanding
Joe and team were exceptional. Extremely professional arriving early to make sure the operation ran smoothly throughout the day.
The sound at the ceremony was perfect even for an outdoor venue. At the reception he played all the right songs at the right times to really create the atmosphere we were looking for. Highly recommend! -

Absolutely excellent!!
My husband and I couldn't have picked anyone better than Events by GM for our special day!! They have everyone dancing the whole night and really emphasize on the guests having the best time and partying until the lights come on!! Joe is truly accommodating when it comes to helping you put together what you want from ceremony, through cocktail hour and until the reception comes to a close. So happy with our decision to have Events by GM for our wedding! -

Working with Dj JOE was a breeze! He was organized and responsive to our requests. I would highly recommend him and the company. I was looking for club/remix style vibes and he totally brought that! The dance floor was packed all night. -

Absolutely amazing
Jason and his team were absolutely AMAZING!!! They made our wedding so perfect and so much fun no one wanted to get off the dance floor all night!!! I can't thank them enough for making our day so smooth from the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception, 10/10 would recommend them over and over, they were the absolute BEST! Everyone who left our wedding said that it was the most fun wedding they've ever been too and I swear it's because of Events by GM!!!! -

Joe B for DJ!
Despite being a childhood friend of mine, Joe was the DJ for us. I had many surprises planned for my husband to include a recording of his late grandfather’s singing which Joe worked tirelessly to make sure came through smoothly. He played just a light every song we regulates of him and he MC’d so well that guests were raving. He truly made the wedding so special and even helped give it that winter wonderland feel I was looking for! -

Amazing dj
DJ Dan did an incredible job at our wedding. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and we received so many compliments from family and friends about his awesome song choices. Dan was professional, organized, and made sure that our big day was everything we dreamed of. The sound/music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and all events in between was phenomenal. Amazing DJ

Amazing wedding!
My wife and I could not have been more pleased with our experience with Events by GM. Leading up to the wedding, they really took the time to ensure everything was planned and prepared for. There was great communication and they were very accommodating. At the wedding, they went above and beyond our expectations. Thanks to them, it was an amazing night. Wedding festivities
Absolutely phenomenal job!!! We covered additional expenses for travel to Northern Virginia for our wedding and reception. It was well worth the added expense. Our guests went on and on about how great the music was and the dance floor was never empty. Two thumbs up. Couldn’t get any better! -

Events by gm gave us the best night we could have imagined. We went to a wedding by them 2 years ago and the very next day we knew who would do our wedding. Joe Bertolini was in constant communication throughout the whole process and made it very easy for us. Him and staff gave our guests an incredible experience. My best men could not stop talking about the DJ the entire night and next day. We cannot recommend events by gm enough and are so thankful for their hard work. -

Awesome DJ for our Wedding

Great Experience!!
I can't say enough about the experience we had with Jason from GM Events. We recently had our wedding at a venue that never did weddings before. When we were looking for a DJ we knew we need someone who was experienced and had a vision. Jason was much more than that however. He was extremely profession, charismatic, and knew how to throw a great wedding. I can't thank Jason enough and I would recommend him to any of my friends and family.

The best!
Jason and his team are amazing!! They made everything about our day seamless and all we had to do was sit back and enjoy. From the pre-wedding meetings to the final song, there isn't anything i would change about our day. They handle everything, from having an awesome entrance for me and my husband, to dancing on clouds for our first dance, and a personalized monogram, it was all perfect! They even helped coordinate the time for a surprise flash mob by our bridal party and family, which i am still in shock over! Our Guests couldn't say enough great things about how much they enjoyed the music (which was easy to tell because our the dance floor was never empty!) It truly was everything we could have hoped for our wedding!! -

A 10/10 Experience!
We cannot speak highly enough about DJ Joe Bert! Every single one of our guests, from the youngest person in the room to the grandparents, RAVED about how amazing he was. We had individual songs for each entrance into the reception which went off without a hitch, and Joe played a wide variety of songs that kept every single one of our guests on the dance floor for the entire night. He also customized songs for our ceremony and individual dances to adjust the length, etc. I wish we could get married again, just to have Joe DJ for us again! Trust me and hire him for your wedding, you absolutely will not regret it! -

Events By GM was absolutely perfect! I was hesitant to use a DJ for our wedding since sometimes I feel they can be a little unprofessional/clubby. Events By GM blew away any expectation I had for the night. The music was all absolutely perfect throughout the whole night and the dance floor was PACKED. Seriously, the dancing never stopped. Jason took our requests and fit them in perfectly with other songs, he also used his own judgement for some of the *interesting* songs that were requested (thank god!). Jason sat down with us about a month before the wedding to go through our expectations and to create a schedule of the night. This was especially helpful when going through the lineup of bridesmaids and groomsmen, he even brought up to make sure we had recently married couples new last names correct (I didn’t!). Overall, I was more than impressed with Events by GM. From their classy set up, to the great music, everything was above and beyond expectations. -

From our first meeting with Jay the professionalism, kindness, and willingness to include everything we wanted into our day and give us advice he has seen my wife turned to me and went I trust him with everything he is great. This was the absolute truth as event by gym made our wedding absolutely incredible. Every guest danced the entire night and the music selection and lighting was the best. Jay and Joe also provided perfect microphones and music for our ceremony making the experience perfect. Bottom line - If you want your guests to talk about how amazing your dj was the entire next day , then hire event by GM! -

For our May 2018 wedding we had Joe Bertolini as our DJ! It was truly a great experience working with him from the initial meeting to the wedding day. Joe was always prompt in responses and super accommodating during the planning process with a ton of song requests. During the big day he kept everyone on the dance floor! I will certainly be recommending him to all my friends/family future weddings!

If I could give more stars I would! Mark Nuzzo was amazing. He got the crowd on the dance floor and they never left! As we were planning all we knew for sure was we wanted a PARTY and that is exactly what we got! Mark, Joe Bertolini and their assistant Dan had everything we talked about and more. Our first dance was on a cloud, we had party lights that danced with the music and air cannons...AIR CANNONS!!! It was a party we and our guests will talk about forever. He got the crowd involved and made the night a blast! We moved him and the team back to the after party for an extended night and the party didn't stop! They were amazing! -

We were recommended to Events by GM by friends who had attended a wedding where they DJed. Our friends couldn't say enough good things about the dance party at the wedding. We reached out and found out that they had been DJs at the bar my fiance and I met at so we couldn't resist hiring them. They were extremely flexible, responsive, friendly, and professional. They made the planning process as easy as possible. They helped us to make a plan for the reception and made sure that everything ran smoothly so that we didn't have to worry at all during our reception. They coordinated seamlessly with our reception venue and event coordinator. The songs they selected throughout the night were perfectly timed and lighting was also great. On a special note, they set up mics for my brother to sing and play guitar for our first dance and it sounded like a recording. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to use Jason and Brandon. -

Where do I begin? How about with AMAZING. We had the pleasure of working with Jason from start to finish. We had last minute changes the day of and he made on the spot changes and made everything perfect. From the ceremony to the announcements to the reception everything was flawless. The setup is elegant and professional and the music selection was amazing. I left it in his hands to play whatever he wanted and the dance floor was packed all night. The best there is!! Such a great company! Our DJ was one of the owners, Jay. We knew Jay through multiple friends and have been to a few weddings where he was the DJ and he is so awesome. He was quick to respond to any emails and was helpful with any and all questions we had. We knew we were in good hands, but he blew it out the water at our reception! Our guests are still telling us how awesome the music was and how packed he had the dance floor all night long. After our wedding entrance, Jay played about a ten minute set to get the crowd going and they didn't stop after that. Jay was so sweet, helpful, and all around just a great DJ. Highly recommend for any event you are having, especially a wedding! We loved him!! -

Jay and Brandon with Events by GM were the DJs for our wedding on 9/16/16 at the Cescaphe Ballroom and were seriously amazing! My husband and I gave them a flavor for the types of music that we like and they kept the dance floor packed all night long, and honestly played songs throughout the night that all ages could enjoy and get excited about. Their enthusiasm to be there was so apparent and they were so easy to work with/plan with along the way. I highly recommend Events by GM. Our wedding guests are still talking about the music and our mait're d even pulled us aside to tell us how impressed he was with the music. Thank you so much Jay and Brandon! We can't imagine our wedding day without you guys spinning! :)

Jason and Brandon were amazing to work with! They made sure we had everything we needed for sound to make our day a huge success and answered all our questions so quickly and completely. Brandon was our DJ/MC for the night and we gave him just a few songs that we liked and he build a playlist for the whole night that was just perfect! Events By GM will let you give them as much detail as you want or as little and they will fill in the gaps which they did wonderfully with! Everyone loved their music selections and the dance floor wasn't empty for even a single second after dinner. -

Events by GM was wonderful! We worked with Jay and Art- with Art doing the actual DJ'ing the day of. He was amazing! We got so many compliments from our guests after the wedding about what a great job they did. Art read the room well, and just went with the flow- even when a few of our guests decided they wanted to get up and start dancing during dinner! They played an excellent mix of newer music to keep the bride, groom, and friends happy, as well as a mix of older songs to keep my parents and their friends happy.
Art was great to talk to on the phone. He listened to all my questions, and was a wealth of knowledge. I was a little worried, as they're based in New Jersey, but my wedding was in Virginia. They brought all their equipment down with them, and there were no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend if you want to keep your guests up dancing all night!! -

If you're looking for a DJ who will ensure everyone is up on their feet dancing the entire time then Events by GM is who you need.
Having seen these two in action at other weddings, we were so excited to have them be a part of our special day and they did not disappoint! From start to finish they were extremely professional and helpful and really brought our wedding to life through non-stop amazing music. We couldn't decided on the order and a few entrance songs and Jay was so extremely helpful in guiding us to make a decision that worked for our night. We also had a few requests to work into the night which they did seamlessly and the rest we left up to them. They know how to play a perfect mix of music that satisfies guests of all ages, never once making the older guests feel out of place which is hard to do with some of today's music. Our guests were blown away by these two, still commenting to us about how much fun the night was, one even getting their card that night for the future! We cannot say enough about how amazing it was to work with Jay and Brandon. My husband and I would recommend them a million times over to anyone looking for a DJ. -

I will recommend Events by GM 100 times over for a wedding or ANY event that a DJ is needed. I know the owners from high school and they are all-around stand-up, fantastic people so I knew they would be amazing to work with.
Jay was incredibly professional throughout the process. My husband and I are not "music" people and are very laid-back- we just wanted an amazing party and did not want to choose each individual song. We felt that was the job of the DJ and trusted Jay completely. He did not disappoint- the entire night ran so smoothly thanks to him. Our entrances were hilarious with the music, then the guests joining us on the dance floor immediately after. And I will never forget the moment right after everyone had finished dinner- I was chatting with a guest with my back turned for just a minute then looked back over at the dance floor.. it was PACKED already. It stayed that way until the last possible second- we had such a crazy upbeat and wild party, the kind where you don't even want to go get another drink and miss anything. We could not have asked for more.
We received SO many comments from guests, vendors and our venue staff at how fantastic Events by GM was. So fantastic that my sister immediately booked them for her upcoming wedding. My husband and I were SO HAPPY with Events by GM. Jason was very professional, easy to communicate with, and has an overall great personality. Jason listened to what we wanted, and also provided input as well. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and guests enjoyed the music. Jason and his assistant had a great sense of the crowd and made excellent music choices. When booking Events by GM you won't have to worry about a thing in regards to music. And, the price is very reasonable. My husband and I discovered the vendor by reading reviews, never once hearing them play. And, we couldn't have made a better choice. I was lucky enough to have a great company DJ our wedding. Jason and Brandon organized everything from our music/microphones on the beach, to our reception. We requested songs to not be played and they followed through with the request, which we were very happy about! Everyone loved the music and had a great time! Jason and Brandon were very professional and knew how to get people on the dance floor!

We had booked Events by GM for our wedding. One of my groomsmen provided the DJ as a gift, and we could not be happier with the entertainment. They are very organized with their services, as they had us do homework to prepare for the big day. They have literally millions of songs to choose from. From the time the reception started with our entrances to the time the final song ended, there was always activity on the dance floor. They are very intuitive with how to read crowds to figure out what kind of songs to play. Overall, they are amazing, and I would recommend them to anyone, and not just for wedding receptions. -

My wife and I were looking for a DJ for our wedding, and spoke to a number of individuals in South Jersey about doing our wedding. We came across Jason and Events by GM by chance. It was, by far, the best possible choice for our DJ. Emails never went unanswered. Questions were always addressed, and Jason always carries himself as a professional. Any monkey with an iPod can play music, but these guys were great. Introductions were flawless, music was perfect, and everyone was dancing. If you're getting married and need a DJ, get these guys. It will literally be one thing that you will not have to worry about. -

Brandon and Jason were the perfect DJ's for our wedding and they helped to make the experience from beginning to end amazing. We met with them twice before our wedding and they really helped us find the feel for what we were looking for that could only be provided through music. It is clear that they have vast wedding experience; not only did they guide us with suggestions as to when we needed music but also what sort of music would be good at those times.
They asked us to make a list of songs we wanted to hear and then weaved them perfectly through cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. Brandon and Jason are amazing at "feeling out" the guests and playing the right music and the right time.
Durning our reception Brandon and Jason were respectful and patient; speaking with us discreetly about any questions or issues as well as prompting us through the entire reception from cake cutting to first dances and the garter/bouquet toss. Also, they did a great job coordinating with the venue staff to make sure everything ran smoothly. They are quick to solve any issues for example: when gathering people for the garter toss the bride realized she forgot to put it on that morning. Jason sprung into action by offering his bow tie, which happened to be blue and no one knew the wiser.
If you are interested in using a DJ for your wedding or event you will not be disappointed with the services Events by GM can provide. -

Jason Gabrieli and his company, Events by GM, provided the top notch entertainment, professionalism, and comfort that everyone dreams about when planning a wedding. Our wedding was definitely a bit of a production with a long guest list, logistics of moving between locations, and ensuring the time line was kept to in order to get everything done. From our first conversation with Mr. Gabrieli we knew we were in great hands. We were able to chat with him on multiple occasions to plan out particular songs and MC timing. For all of the things to worry about in putting on a wedding, the music is a crucial aspect in ensuring the guests have fun. Fortunately for us we NEVER had to worry about whether folks enjoyed the DJ because I am pretty sure everyone had blisters the next morning from dancing all night. They traveled down from New Jersey to Maryland to provide their service for our big day, so they are literally willing to go the extra mile. I recently was married on June 1, 2013. When I first started planning my wedding, I decided that music was one of the most important things to us for our special day. I instantly thought of an old friend who I could trust to do the job right. I have known Jason and Brandon for almost 12 years. They have been DJ's ever since I could remember.
I met with Jason to go through the details of music and he was great. He was very professional and organized. He answered any questions I had and was very accommodating for our needs.
All in all, we wanted our music to get people on the dance floor. The playlist was amazing and no one stopped dancing until the night ended. Jason did a great job in making my wedding reception exactly how I wanted it. I would definitely refer Events by GM! They were absolutely awesome! -

Our expectations were met by Jason and Branden, and then multiplied by 1,000. These guy put together a phenomenal atmosphere and really know how to get all the guests entertained and involved. They include music that is timeless so that Aunt and Uncles are on the dance floor along with youths. Jason was our DJ at our wedding this past June. Jason was a pleasure to work with from the very start. He went beyond our expectations. He was professional, yet was energetic and kept the crowd moving the entire night. All of our guests told us they had a blast, and that the music was great. He made everything very easy for us from the very early stages of wedding planning, walking us through our "vision" and then implementing it the day of. I can't say enough good things. If you are looking for a DJ, especially for your wedding I would absolutely recommend Jason Gabrieli. Thank You Jason for an awesome wedding & party that we will never forget!!

We used the DJ for both our outdoor ceremony and the reception. Leading up to the wedding Jason was a pleasure to work with. He was flexible about where and when we could meet. He understood everything that was on our plates and showed up whenever we needed him. On the wedding day, Jason was professional and fun. He kept everyone engaged and entertained. The dance floor was packed all night. Time flew and we didn't want it to end! Thanks so much, Jay! -

I can't say enough good things about Brandon McGee at Events by GM. From our first meeting, I knew he was going to do a great job. He posseses a great energy, but is also a complete professional. He explained everything to me in detail, and helped me with the timeline of our event, which was difficult for me to figure out as we did not have a sit down dinner. He played everything we asked (and didn't play anything we asked him not to play!) and I recieved so many compliments on the music as this was the focal point of our reception- good music to dance to!
I would highly recomend Brandon to any bride looking for a fabulous DJ!! -

By far the best Wedding DJ ever! He had us on the dance floor all night and played the best music. All my guests asked me where I found this guy bc they have never been to a wedding that had such a fun dance party! He totally took the vibe fr the crowd and spun it from there. I would definately recommend him. -

DJ and music selection were amazing. He really listened to what I wanted and responded appropriately. I have never been to a wedding with so many people on the dance floor! DJ also kept me informed on timing and pace of wedding activities. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Fantastic experience and my guests keep telling me the same. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! -

These guys were absolutely great. They pulled off exactly what we were looking for in terms of our theme. The emcee was very personable and worked the crowd well. Highly recommended. -

Jason Gabrieli was the DJ for our wedding this past May. To say that he was AMAZING would be the biggest understatement of my life!!!!! I met with Jay a couple times before the wedding to go over exactly what I was looking for and it was obvious from the first time we sat down that I was in good hands. His energy and enthusiasm are contagious and I was in awe of how he commanded our crowd!
I'm pretty sure Jay could throw any type of dance party that a bride would want! We had a younger crowd that grew up listening to old-school hip hop so I asked Jay if he could make it more like a dance club and less like a wedding atmosphere. What I got, was the craziest 2 1/2 hour dance party I have seen!!!! I've been to plenty of weddings, and I have never heard a mix that was anything close to what Jay put together. The day after the wedding, all everyone kept asking was where I found such an amazing DJ!?!
I don't care what kind of party you are trying to throw. If you want to bring the house down, Jay Gabrieli is your man!!! I can honestly say that I will never use another DJ again and I can't wait to find another reason to throw a party!!!
P.S. I had to come on and post again! I have been to 3 functions since my wedding that have had a DJ it has been absolutely painful! I need a Jay Gabrieli dance party in my life ASAP!!!! I've talked to two members of the waitstaff from my wedding and they said that they have never seen a dance party like the one we had....all thanks to Big Jay!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!! -

Brandon and Jason did a wonderful job at our wedding. They played every song we requested and mixed in the perfect blend of music to keep the guests dancing all night. Brandon met with us several times before our wedding to plan the reception from start to finish and was easy to get a hold of throughout the planning process. They were professional and very easy to work with! They cut songs exactly where we asked and mixed the perfect blend throughout the reception! Thanks boys! -

Fantastic! Thank you so much for everything! They were great to work with, and from start to finish they had everyone up and dancing. They also kept the agenda organized and moving while keeping the music to something everyone could dance to. I don't think too many people left the dance floor once they got started.

They did an excellent job. Everything that I wanted them to play they played, along with a variety of fun music to keep the party going. They were very professional and added that extra touch that every wedding needs. I would highly recommend them to anyone. -

Through the communication before the wedding, he got a clear feel for what kind of vibes we were going for and he made sure to play music that followed suit...when something was requested he didn't hesitate to make the guests happy. Mobile Entertainment did an amazing job at our wedding. They interacted with the guests so well and really kept everyone up dancing. They were very responsive to all of my crazy bridal phone calls and remained very patient with my Bridezilla self. They are very professional and courteous. I will definitely use them for any other occasions that I may need a DJ and highly recommend Jason and Brandon for weddings!!! -

They were super awesome. Very accommodating and professional. All the songs we wanted played were played, and none of the songs on the no-play made an appearance. The only critique was that some of the songs we really wanted to dance to weren't played out all the way and transitioned to different songs a little too quickly. Overall, very satisfied. -

We had Jason Gabrieli as our DJ, and he was fantastic! We knew right away when we met for our first chat that he was the right person for the job. He has a charming, warm personality that projects enthusiasm, and is extremely detail oriented. All the qualities you'd want in a DJ!
During the wedding, Jason adapted on the fly to things we changed last minute. We had several scheduled performances, but also a surprise impromptu performance that Jason setup quickly and professionally. He was very aware of what we were thinking - several times we looked at him and gestured to cut the music or bring people out to the dance floor, and he instantly read our minds and said the right things.
He coordinated things for us between the vendors as well, such as the videographers and photographers. All in all, Jason made life easier for us - giving us much advice on planning our wedding and assisting us during the wedding day. We would highly recommend him for your wedding too. -
