    Beautiful venue operated by a wonderful team!

    We booked the 3 hr express wedding service with Event1013 after having endured a terrible experience with a previous venue, and it's the best thing that happened to us, because this venue is beautiful! Deborah and Ron are wonderful people who were very understanding and sympathetic to our situation (we were desperately looking for a new venue with less than 3 weeks to our wedding day). They did everything in their capacity to make our wedding day a beautiful and memorable one for us and our guests. They're very professional and efficient, they are highly detailed when it comes to discussing the planning for the ceremony. They are also very helpful and resourceful so they can take your vision and make it into a reality!
    The venue itself turns into this magical wonderland with the thoughtfully elegant decor and myriad lighting options that really enhance any decorations you add to it. I loved this place and this team and I highly recommend them.

    Excellent Staff and Venue/Value

    Event 1013 was such a wonderful place with extremely accommodating and thoughtful staff. This is an extremely late review but we booked our micro-wedding with them in November of 2019. They are one of the few places that offer an "elopement" style package for a discounted rate AND on a Saturday (they are also open vendor, which is huge). With the ceremony-only package, you get the use of the Garden Room (ceremony room in the back) for about 3 hours. It was perfect knowing we could have 25 people in attendance, have a simple set up/break down (the Garden Room doesn't need much décor, it is BEAUTIFUL), AND enjoy the use of this venue at a reasonable rate. Best part of all, is the location, we made plans to have a fancy "after-dinner" at Urban Crust across the street....Now here comes the fun part: COVID 2020 AND Winter Storm Week in February 2021. In 2019, we were pretty excited about our small wedding ceremony plans and dinner afterwards and then Covid hit. We thought "oh our wedding is over a year away, no worries" then as everyone knows, it is still a thing, so we had to consider ourselves a "covid couple" once 2021 came around. Well the staff was extremely accommodating and very pleasant to work with through all the COVID regulations as those changed and everything that it entailed for literally everyone. Then, come the week of our wedding (February 15, 2021) and the already adjusted plan completely derailed for us. We were calling vendors just to make sure they had power, water, heat, and could still make Saturday (wedding day). It was honestly a nightmare week that I wouldn't wish on anyone. YALL, EVENT1013 CAME THROUGH FOR US. I was so worried about dropping off our arch and DIY floral décor, we had originally planned for a Friday drop off (pending no scheduled events the night before) and 30-40 mins hustle from family helpers in our allotted 3 hour rental window on Saturday. Well, they felt extremely bad for us that everything was crazy and the weather didn't permit driving all week, including Friday night that they granted us a mercy and let us come in before our 3 hour window on Saturday morning (because there was no 9-12 event scheduled). Seriously, it was the first time all week the temps were ABOVE freezing and I cannot express how helpful that was for us even though they didn't have to. It made all the difference and somehow Saturday was STILL a perfect day and I wanted everyone to know how wonderful the space and staff are. ALSO, there is a park RIGHT next door with perfect outdoor backdrops (red caboose and quaint gazebo).     event1013 - Great Venue!

    My husband and I got married during COVID, so we were not able to have our reception after the wedding. We were able to push out the event a year, and couldn't have had a better experience with event1013. We initially planned our event a year and half prior to the actual date, but the venue was able to accommodate our request to push it out a year. We chose this venue because of its character, it had a little more personality than a standard hotel banquet room. We also liked that they had an almost hidden back room that you could use for food, a small ceremony, or just a quieter space for your guests to congregate in. event1013 also has a good selection of rentals that they can provide, so we didn't need to arrange something else with another vendor. Our event coordinator, Shamica, was GREAT! Every detail that we discussed was executed to perfection. It was nice not to have to worry that something wasn't going to get done. Looking back, I can say that everyone that attended the event (my husband and I included) had a great time. If anyone is needing an event space, I would highly recommend event1013 for your event.

    Unique and Beautiful Venue!

    First of all, the owners and staff of 1013 are incredible! They were so helpful and understanding when we had to reschedule due to COVID. You can tell they really take pride in the venue space down to every minor detail. The space is absolutely gorgeous and perfect if you're looking for something a little outside the box. Not to mention the level of customization you get with the lighting, decor, floor plans, etc! We were so thrilled with the way everything turned out and will book here again if we are ever in need of an event space!

    If you want perfection, this is the place!

    An absolute delight to work with the owners and staff! They made everything so easy and had a lot of options for us to make our event special. This venue has a great vibe. So beautiful and unique that not a lot of additional decor is needed, but it is easy to add whatever you want and make it your own. Our guests were charmed for sure. I would definitely book here again.

    Wedding 8-8-20

    My fiance(now wife!) just celebrated our wedding here at Event1013 a few weeks ago. The venue is very beautiful and we loved the historical feel of the environment. During these stressful and uncertain times, Ron, Deborah and Shamica were able to make our wedding truly memorable and handled everything with professionalism. Communication from our initial stop-in all the way up through our actual wedding day was prompt and consistent. We loved that this venue is also able to give us a truly custom experience. We could select tables, table cloths, colored lighting, decorations, plating, etc and each item is priced individually and very fairly. Both Ron and Deborah proved to also be so flexible with our arrangements allowing us to come in the day before our wedding to setup initial decorations ourselves so we could put things exactly how we liked and our next day would run smoother. When paying our final invoice, they were gracious enough to even give us some items and services at no charge which was both unexpected and extremely generous. We both would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for a wedding venue or hosting a private event! Thank you Event1013!

    So much fun! Such sweet people to work with!

    The space spoke for itself when my husband & I first visited the venue! With all the decor & guests it looked like a total dream! Everything looked perfect!!

    Wonderful Experience

    I found event1013 online and decided to check them out. They were extremely welcoming and accommodating and they answered any questions I had. My fiance and I loved the cozy feel and we had our ceremony and reception there.

    Denise and Deborah were amazing and they were very flexible with changes and did their best to make sure everything was in order. They were very upfront, no surprises or surprise fees. Everything about this place was fantastic. The pictures don't do it justice!

    Intimate Wedding Ceremony - WIN

    We had our wedding ceremony at event1013 - it was awesome. The layout makes the ceremony so intimate and perfect - and the venue itself is super cool - I love how almost every item inside the building has a story/history to it. The staff was wonderful and super easy to work with.The venue is also very affordable and reasonable. Overall, it was a great experience and if we ever need a space to host another gathering- I would definitely go back.

    Affordable Vintage Location

    Everyone at the location is very nice and responsive to emails! They have o problem answering tons of questions or letting you make last minute changes! The living garden is perfect for an outdoor feeling weeding without working about the weather! The location is a must see and very affordable!

    We used event1013 for my daughter's rehearsal dinner which was for 75 people. I was really nervous about having to do it all without the help of a planner but they made the experience really easy. I was especially nervous about the fact that all of our guests would be arriving before I would due to the fact our rehearsal for the wedding was at another venue so I wouldn't be able to see how everything was coming together and setup beforehand. But when we arrived, to my delight, it looked magnificent -- even better than I had hoped! They were always available to answer any questions or concerns I had and I couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out. The facility is beautiful and very spacious. I received lots of complements on how everything looked and how nice of a place it was. Thank you event1013

    Where to begin?! Our wedding was back in October of 2017. I actually discovered event1013 not too long before I was engaged while spending time in downtown Plano with a friend. Fast forward a few months, when it was time to find a venue I remembered them. My husband and I were looking for an urban-style venue that also had bit of character, but also wouldn't use up our entire wedding budget. After the first tour we got such a good feeling about the space and the staff. We loved the style, the history of the space, the caterer kitchen, the ability to use their sound system, an actual bridal suite, rental items, and all other services/amenities available. We, especially, loved that we could have our ceremony in a separate space than the reception. We felt that the Raw Garden room, with the wall of candles and a greenery wall, was special and perfect for the ceremony. The main room for the reception was great, especially with the use of the antique furniture. We received so many compliments about the venue itself that night and afterwards. Overall our experience working with the staff, from the very beginning with the first phone call to schedule a tour to the mid-planning email exchanges to the very end, was wonderful! We couldn't have chosen a better place for our wedding!

    I had both my wedding ceremony and reception at event1013. Once my husband and I toured the venue, we knew immediately that was where we wanted to say "I do". We loved the historical value behind the building and the chic-yet-cosy feeling of the venue. It was located right at downtown Plano, which was the perfect location for our friends and family to get to. Everything was organized and not stressful at all. From touring of the place, to planning the wedding, and on the day of, everything was as expected and more.

    One of the features we were most excited about was the greeneries that were in the Raw Garden! They were beautiful and so hip! Denise was the one who was there since the beginning. She was easy to work with and quick to respond to my emails. Also, the price was unbeatable. They were clear about their rules and regulations since the beginning so it was easy to follow along throughout the planning process. I just love that we could bring in our own food and drinks without additional charges. It was definitely the perfect place for a small wedding (about 100 guests). We would not have asked for a better place to celebrate our love.

    event1013 is such an amazing venue with rich history. Our wedding planner used those elements to embrace the warm inviting feeling you get from the venue for our ceremony and reception. It was so beautiful! The grid wall makes for a fabulous backdrop for the ceremony, especially when it is lit with candles! The entire staff was awesome and patient with all the moving parts we had with a full day rental and a large wedding.

    Super cute venue and amazing team! they will work with you by sending planning documents. I did not have a wedding planner and I didn't feel like I needed one planning my wedding with Event1013. The day off, the event supervisor was very helpful in making the event flow. I highly recommend this venue.

    event1013 was even more stunning that is we had seen in photos! We originally found out about event1013 by searching online for different venues while planning our wedding. This venues was our first and last stop! When we walked in we knew this unique and modern space was exactly what we wanted. It is so awesome that they allow you to rent just the venue and then have all other items (linens, lighting, etc) available as well for additional costs. They are perfectly fine with you bringing other vendors in if you like! The only area they have some restrictions with the DJ's which isn't uncommon with wedding venues. They do have a pretty lengthy list to choose from, so it didn't hinder us at all.

    They have two separate areas, a more intimate space for the ceremony, and a bigger space for a reception. The neat thing if the space is really flexible and you can really use it however your imagination wants. They have a nice VIP suite for you to get ready in and access to a rooftop for some photos! We wouldn't have changed anything! Thank you event1013 for making our big day as special as it was!

    We used Event 1013 for our wedding ceremony and the Raw Garden room was very beautiful and intimate. The coordinators were very accommodating and helpful. We loved the historical industrial look that the building provided and would highly recommend Event 1013 for any kind of events.

    We are so happy to have chosen event1013 for our wedding day! They were so nice to work with, from the first email to breakdown at the end of the night. We had so many compliments from guests about how pretty the venue was. We personally loved all the small historical pieces that told the story of how the building has changed over the years. All of the ladies were a pleasure to work with, I always received quick responses and answers to my many questions! They are a great value with lots of options to personalize your event, rather than having to pay for things you don’t need. We highly recommend them for any event, my Mum is already hoping to have her 60th there!!

    We looked many places before coming to event1013. We were looking for location and ease of planning for our 50th wedding anniversary.. Event1013 met our needs in deciding on them. As we progressed with our planning with them for at least 3+ months, we had many questions and changes. They (Denise, Melissa and Deborah) were always prompt with their responses, answers, suggestions and overall help. The video wall is amazing. It is a must see for anyone looking for a beautiful and fun place to celebrate.

    I loved everything about this place! You don't even need to decorate the place because it is simply stunning as it is. The staff was great and really helped us achieve what we wanted without really interfering! Just an amazing experience from day one.

    Our daughter's wedding was simply perfect! My daughter and new son-in-law were thrilled with their special day and could not be happier - and that's all my husband and I could wish for. The staff at Event1013 is professional, knowledgeable and hard working. They were helpful during every aspect of planning. I highly recommend this venue as the location for a special occasion!

    Everything about event1013 is fabulous, the ambiance oft he space speaks for itself. With little extras needed to decorate the space, it was a piece of cake for this non-crafty DIY gal. Denise and Melissa are top notch, even with my last minute crazy, the party went off w/o any glitches. Many thanks and hopes to return in return in the future!

    Event1013 was an awesome venue for our wedding. Our guests thought the space was amazing and perfect for our intimate wedding of about 100 guests. The owner Denise in particular really impressed me. She was accessible and really cared that we had a successful event and great experience. I highly recommend the venue!!!!

    This was the perfect venue for our wedding! Denise and Melissa were very helpful in the planning stages and always answered any questions promptly. We were impressed by the many options for decorating/set up. The staff was very professional before and during the wedding. The facility was clean and nicely decorated by the staff. On our wedding day, we showed up to the venue knowing everything was going to be in place and ready. We received many compliments on how nice the venue was. I highly recommend this venue for anyone!

    I cannot say enough positive things about event1013. They SERIOUSLY and MASSIVELY saved our wedding. Melissa is absolutely an answered prayer and we can't be thankful enough for her.

    Brief rundown: Our original wedding venue, The Generator in Garland, was paid in full and reserved in February 2016 for a June 12 wedding date. Well, when the new owner of the Generator, Nir, decided to cancel our event 5 days before the wedding, we freaked.
    Melissa had a shower that Sunday morning that she was working, but offered to tear it down and set up for ours right after, so we could keep our original wedding time. She understood the issues with our funds tied up in another venue (which we will be suing now) and contacted the director, Deborah, to see what they could do. They helped us above and beyond, with absolutely everything to allow us to use event1013 for our wedding. We were basically a nomadic wedding, just looking for a place to "land" and event1013 was that place.

    On the day of, we got there an hour before we were going to get in the venue for reveal photos. We took our photos outside, then it began to POUR down rain. Melissa invited us in to get our cakes and us in before the downpour. She was one of the sweetest, most helpful people ever that day. We HIGHLY recommend event1013 and Melissa too. We also received our security deposit check back VERY quickly, within 2.5 weeks of our wedding, which was greatly appreciated too!

    From the moment we met with Event 1013 and saw the venue itself, we stopped looking. This is one of those unique venues that is nestled in the old world charm of downtown Plano, yet still had all of the modern amenities you expect with a larger venue. Everything you could ask for is right here. A large kitchen for your caterer, modern sound equipment, video equipment to play your memories for your guests, uniquely designed restrooms for your guests complete with real towels for sanitary purposes, etc.

    Not being from the Texas area, Event 1013 recommended several other vendors that they have worked with to satisfy all of the typical wedding needs. Relaxed, casual and enthusiastic all in one is the best way to describe the staff at Event 1013.

    This is that one of a kind place that makes your wedding day as unique and amazing as it should be.

    Everyone at Event 1013 was WONDERFUL! We recently moved to Texas. We were unfamiliar with the area and had no idea what to do for an officiate, cake, bar tender, etc.... They truly helped us and were the key factor in making our day Spectacular! I recommend this Venue very highly!

    Event1013 is a gorgeous venue even with minimal decor. It was perfect for my wedding and reception! It comfortably held about 120 people and everything went great. I LOVE the staff and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a venue!!

    We hosted a corporate dinner event at event1013 and I couldn't be happier with the venue and its staff. The space was gorgeous and the team took excellent care of us- they were able to support everything we needed and made it easy to host this event. I would highly recommend event1013 and would definitely host another event at this venue.

    This is a fantastic venue if you're looking for affordability and full customization for your special event. The prices are incredibly competitive plus you're not pigeon holed into any food and beverage minimums, room guarantees, etc. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who is planning an event.

    Event1013 turns out to be the perfect place to have your Wedding at. The Venue is absolutely gorgeous and the Raw Garden room is a great addition for the ceromony. The staff was very attentive to all the needs we had and was very prompt with answers. They have a great list of local vendors for you to choose from which helped out a great deal for me since I didn't have much experience with planning a wedding.

    We are so pleased with our wedding ceremony/reception choice. Event 1013 is elegant, yet simple! The event specialists are incredibly helpful and flexible--they truly are dedicated to making your event run smoothly, look unique and enjoyable for all. The venue was a prefect size for our 100+ guests. The venue is flexible with walk-throughs for planning with your photographer, DJ, wedding planner, etc.

    From the moment we booked the space to the very end, I have no complaints about Event 1013. This was the ONLY space I could find that would be accommodating to my requests and not make me use their required list of vendors. (They do have a recommended list of vendors that I did find a little helpful.) ..Every time I had a question, I could shoot an email and would receive a response very quickly, and never felt like I was a burden. I can't recall a time when they gave me any push back or wouldn't work with me about an idea or vision I had. I'm super appreciative of how easy it was work with this venue. It's a beautiful, unique space and really can be transformed into anything you need it to be. 100% (not 99, a full 100%) happy with how my event turned out and would absolutely recommend to anyone.     event1013 was an outstanding venue! We had a week long planning meeting for work and it was a wonderful location. The staff was helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience top-notch. They kept the drinks and snacks filled up, checked in regularly and made us feel so comfortable.     We had such an amazing experience with event1013. We used the space for an evening business event and everything was handled with exceptional professionalism and kindness. Our event also required audio and video. We loved the lighting options and event1013's willingness to change lighting and set up for our event needs. The sound system and entire A/V system is exceptional. The space is lovely and lends itself to so many different design options. Most importantly, Melissa and her team are Texas hospitality at its finest. They made everything so easy and were partners in our event!

    We used the venue for a business workshop and it worked out wonderfully. Their staff were very responsive, professional and helpful right from the beginning. They made sure we had all the resources we needed including flip charts, white boards and markers. Our workshop participants really enjoyed the venue and its ambiance and were impressed with the careful restoration and creative use of the historical space. Great experience all around - highly recommend it!

    Event 1013 is the BEST place to have an event in Collin County! We have used Event 1013 for a baby shower, couples fellowship, community breakfast, live band and worship events. The staff was professional, caring, and flexible. The Owner Deborah Pierce was customer focused and ensured that we had the necessary accommodations and perfect package deal for each event within our budget without jeopardizing the quality or amenities . The location and parking was great! The media screen was impressive and a plus. The House P.A. system was premium and crystal clear. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and beautiful! The lighting was modern and released and ambience of sophistication. The decorations were creative, clean, and pretty. We were successful every time in communicating the dates and times needed for our events. Deborah and her team were organized and responded quickly to even our last minute requests.     Our faith community met on a weekly basis from February through August on a weekly basis at Event1013. What a beautiful venue! The staff was always so helpful and accommodating. You can tell they really care about this place and the people who use it. Oh! And the bathrooms are amazing! No detail has been overlooked.

    event1013 hosted a corporate meeting event for a Non-Profit organization with which I am affiliated (Collin County Homeless Coalition). With nearly 70 in attendance, the event1013 staff did a wonderful job accommodating all of our needs. The lighting, tables, room arrangements and background music were set perfectly and even beyond my expectations. Every little detail was finely addressed from floor to ceiling.     We absolutely loved event1013. It definitely has it's quirks due to it's small size however that just added to the charm. The building is so beautiful on it's own you can go minimal in your decor and still turn out with an amazing look. We had tons of compliments on the unique look of the place and how much people loved it. It is the perfect venue for a smaller, more intimate wedding. We had around 80-85 guests and it was the perfect size. CoryAnn Shelton was amazing and helped us all along the way to make sure all our vendors were there on time and knew what to do. The day of she was a life saver! Our wedding day was 'blessed' with huge Texas sized storms and Cory had to be very creative with moving me from place to place and keeping me dry! The team at event1013 was wonderful to work with and very flexible to fit our needs and budget. I love this venue and recommend it to anyone looking for a more urban feel and a unique look!

    We got so many compliments on this venue. It's unique and the perfect size for a fun, small ceremony and reception (we had about 70 guests). The apartment was great for some photos and changing into the dress, and the alleys out back made great backdrops. The coordinators were very accessible, even when they changed coordinators a month or so before the wedding. We used their screen and equipment for a slideshow and several of their suggested vendors and it all went great. We also used one of the hotels they suggested that provides a shuttle for guests. The street is full of shops and bars so our guests were able to hang out beforehand and go out after. Make sure your photographers have flashes though; it gets pretty dark for photos.

    Event 1013 did a fantastic job preparing us for our daughter's wedding reception. We met with Aimee several times in the 12 months of planning and were very reassured that the event would be a great one. The venue is beautiful and full of history set in downtown Plano. I had reservations about finding enough parking spots for all of our guests since it is such an active downtown, full of shops, pubs, and restaurants but that was not an issue at all. All of our guests were very pleased with the service. We used JC Bartending and Kimberly was more than efficient and kind to everyone. Spagetti Warehouse supplied all the food and went over and above. Lorenzo from SW provided wait staff to take care of all of our needs and went over and beyond what we expected. To top it off, Albert Martinez and his partner from Kaotic Music provided the music and was an integral part in making the reception flow. Denise , our coordinator, arranged the tables, ligting, everything perfectly to our satisfaction.

    Event 1013 is the best!!!!! Couldn't ask for anything better the level of care and professionalism from the Event1013 staff was wonderful. The venue itself is beautiful my wife and I wanted to have our wedding at a venue that we wouldn't have to pay thousands to dress up for our special day and it is that nice inside urban and chic with a garden room in back. We tried to do everything ourselves and last minute we decided to go with a day of coordinator from the venue best investment ever! Aimme and was truly awesome went above and beyond with everything and was more than a day of coordinator from helping us with a slideshow that just wouldn't work to pinning my sleeves when I forgot my cufflinks to organizing the seating of our large families just...WOW. Staff, location, price, and venue cannot be beat if you are planning any event you can't miss with booking EVENT 1013.

    Event1013 was wonderful for our wedding and reception! The space is so versatile and beautiful, with it's hardwood floors and brick walls, it works for any taste. It was so nice that they provided tables and chairs for all of our 150 guests, had a great working kitchen for the servers, and a projector we used during dinner! Aimee and Deborah were so great, really worked with us in planning and getting every detail worked out so our wedding went smoothly and without problems. Everything about that day was perfect, from getting ready in the super cute apartment they provide, to the setup, to the picture ops in a neat downtown area, to the service of the staff. Thank you so much for making our day memorable!!

    All the staff at event1013 were amazing!! My experience was nothing short of phenomenal!! I had to plan my wedding in less than 6 weeks and they were so accommodating when I had to come back 4 different times with the wedding planner, event co-ordinator, my mother, my mother-in-law. I had an emergency at home and had to cancel the rehearsal at the last minute. They were nothing but courteous. Aimee wanted to make sure I was OK and to let her know if there was anything she could to help.

    I would definitely recommend Event1013 if you are having a smaller event or don't need tables and just want to party. My wedding was set up for 60 people. 45 people came and we all had a blast! The sound was great for the DJ, the furniture we used fit in perfectly for our candy buffet, food and drink buffet, gift tables, etc. I cannot say enough good things about Event1013.

    The venue is located near Haggard Park in Plano near a beautiful gazebo, lake/pond, and old train caboose that is awesome for pics!!

    Thank you SOO much for providing the PERFECT venue for my intimate wedding! I am forever grateful!

    I loved Event 1013. The employees are very easy to work with and very helpful. You are allowed to bring in all of your own vendors which is very different from other venues. I would definatey reccoment Event 1013 to have your wedding and reception!

    I reviewed a lot of venues before deciding on Event 1013 and the deciding factors were location, uniqueness of the venue and flexibility of the staff. Event 1013 allows clients to choose outside catering, floral, entertainment, rentals and beverages; therefore, my husband and I were able to find the best fits for our budget and tastes.

    We had so many positive comments about the venue from our guests that we know that we made the right choice. People loved the atmosphere, staff, location and general layout. We were married in a local Catholic church, but had a cocktail hour in the "garden room" of Event 1013 that allowed us to hire an acoustic guitarist to play while drinks and appetizers were being served. In the main gallery, tables were set up for dinner and our DJ.

    The venue allows for so many options, it is really a wise choice for a wide variety of events and client selections.

    I loved working with Aimee and Deborah at Event1013! They are so helpful and they made sure our reception was everything we wished for! I even had a complete stress ball moment and wanted to push our wedding date back a few months (I found my to do list too long with not enough time) and they didn't even blink! They were happy to help us out and even when we decided to keep our original date, they never acted annoyed or inconvenienced! Every time I apologized for being so back and forth on the date, they insisted that it was no big deal and told me they understood how stressful things can be! They reassured me that this was our day and wanted it to be the best it could possibly be! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! I had an amazing wedding and it was due in most part to Aimee for being so helpful!

    We absolutely LOVED this venue and got so many compliments from our guests about it as well! Aimee and Deborah were very easy to work with and I really felt that Aimee went above and beyond her call of duty to make sure everything went smoothly for us!

    The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and carries so much character and charm that you don't find many other places! It certainly is not your "cookie cutter" wedding venue and does not need much decor but a little bit of candlelight! We can't say enough good things about Event1013 and I would absolutely use the venue in the future for other events because we loved it so much! If you are looking for something small, unique, and romantic, I encourage you to go take a tour!

    Great place, easy to work with. Very personal and willing to do what they can to meet your needs. All of the associates were very understanding of our special situation and we felt like old friends by the time it was over. Aimee was our main point of contact and we couldn't have asked for better help.

    I loved this venue!! All of the staff was so kind during all of the preperations for our wedding. Any questions or concerns I had they addressed them in a timely manner and always gave me the best advice. Everything was perfect! I had so many guest say that it is a beautiful, original venue.     Thanks to all the vendors, our wedding and reception couldn't have gone more smoothly or more perfectly. Aimee and her assistant were very helpful the day of the wedding (even in the rain!). The size of the venue was great for us (approximately 75-80 guests), and the rentals they offered were just what we needed. Since they opened this year, their pricing was competitive with other loft-like venues in the Dallas area. And they allow you to use your choice of vendors. As for decorating, the only thing that wasn't certain was what ceiling decorations they would have. Luckily, we already had a back-up plan and it came out perfect!
    The location of this venue (in downtown Plano) was great as well. There was free parking in the area and we liked the feel of the historic properties. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and a memorable night!!! Thanks Aimee & Deborah! We will be sure to post pictures on your facebook.

    My husband and I could not have had a better reception venue! This was seriously the perfect venue for us, spacious enough for 100 guests but it retained the intimate feel we wanted our wedding to have. It is so unique and not your average "hotel ballroom" venue. The staff is wonderful and so accommodating! They were incredibly helpful from the day we first visited to the wedding day itself! We loved everything about this venue!!

    Oh man, this place is great! We were so so much more than pleased with our experience working with this group. I actually found event1013 on Wedding Wire, called the manager (Deborah), had a site visit that afternoon and booked immediately. It's such a unique and interesting space for Dallas. It's modern and cool and yet rustic/vintage Texas. When renovating the space, they kept the integrity of the building and tried to keep things as "green" as possible.

    From the space itself (gorgeous exposed brick, excellent accessibility, beautiful new restrooms and an indoor garden in the back) to the service, this experience was 5 stars.

    My husband and I had a destination wedding in Mexico and threw a party (wedding celebration) for all our friends and family upon our return. We projected our photos on their big wall and all of our guests loved the experience. It was more than we could have imagined.

    The staff at event1013 is easy to work with and they're very accommodating. They make the effort to make things easier on you and they really take pride in their space.

    I can't say enough good things about it...it's a perfect new venue in Dallas.

    Event1013 is absolutely beautiful. From the minute we walked in we knew this was the place we would get married. Very rustic and urban all at the same time! The bare brick walls and wood flooring is so awesome, you do not need any extras to make it perfect!
    We were extremely excited that this venue allowed us to self cater and bring our own alcohol. (2 items that are usually really expensive when having a wedding!) The price of the facility was a little higher than others, but since we could save on the catering and alcohol, made that price tag part okay.
    From the beginning all of the staff were extremely welcoming and were all about us on our day. Melissa was extremely helpful and super genuine. After speaking with so many vendors it was always delight to speak to or email her. Melissa was a great event manager for the night of the wedding. She jumped in to help lace up the wedding dress when bridemaid's fingers turned into thumbs, she gently nudged us along to get the cake cut before it melted (sitting out for 5 hours- oops), she also helped my mom with suggestions along the night to help the wedding move smoothly. Melissa also checked in with myself, the groom and my mother several times to make sure the night was going okay- such a super sweet touch! Without her help i'm sure tons would have been forgotten. She is an absolute gem and Event1013 looks even better with her working and managing events.
    Even after our event we can still look back and say everything went well and we were so lucky to have Melissa, with top notch customer service, there to help us along the way. Thanks Event1013 for an unforgettable evening!!!!

    I had my wedding here, and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! So many compliments on everything.... Love the look of the building (don't have to do much to it), and everyone that I had delt with was simply AMAZING. Very nice, very easy going... Our special day could not have turned out better!!!

    I felt that the price we paid for what we got in comparison to similar venues was amazing. Tables and chairs come with the rental rate and its BYOB. There is no in house catering so you get to pick a caterer that you love and fits your budget. We loved this place and the staff was always very helpful. It can take a few days to hear back from them sometimes but really only if you are trying to get a hold of them over the weekend. Cory, who helped us the day of our event, was very professional and definitely helped everything run more smoothly. Zack, who hung everything over 8ft tall, was very creative and made sure everything he did was exactly what we wanted. Aimee, who handles everything before the event, is fabulous. If you are a bride planning everything by yourself, like me, she is definitely helpful by asking questions you have never even thought of to make everything go smoothly. We had a Thursday evening wedding and they accommodated that by being flexible with drop off times. If you are looking for modern vintage do yourself a favor and check this place out!

    We just had our reception at Event1013. We loved every second of it! We were planning the wedding from out of town, and Aimee was so helpful throughout. She had wonderful reccomendations and I felt reassured by our planning meetings. The sace itself is beautiful and all our friends and family had a great time!

    We had our ceremony and reception at Event1013. I'm so glad we chose this place. The venue is amazing! The venue has so much character that it really makes it easy to host a beautiful event. Aimee Langston, the coordinator, was great! She always responded to my questions promptly... even when they were random and obscure.

    I can't recommend this place enough! If you are looking for a unique, timeless venue, then definitely check Event1013 out!

    We had a fantastic reception at Event 1013. To some, the rental price is a little steep, however, we were able to provide our 100 guests with an open bar, full dinner, dancing, cake and a memorable night in a beautiful setting. We were on a tight budget but with the flexibilty of being able to find our own vendors we were able to really shop around and find the best deals. There are a few little quirks, such as you or your caterer must remove all trash from the premises and it can't be dumped in the dumpster behind the building, but our caterer helped us with that so we really didn't have a problem with it. Also, parking in this area of Historic Downtown Plano was very tight for our guests. They did recommend that we have valet parking but we really weren't able to afford that. So, I would recommend trying to work that into your budget.

    The location is very central, at least for us and our guests and very close to 2 major highways and the downtown plano is very quaint and a great place to hang out.

    I really hope that someone I know will have an event there so that I can attend something there and not the be stressed out bride just so I can relax and really enjoy myself.

    This venue is exactly what we were looking for our ceremony and reception venue. The staff is great and were very helpful the day of for setup. Also, it's a great venue for those looking to save on costs since you can choose any vendor for catering and can bring in your own alcohol. The only downside is that they are booked constantly so setup and rehearsal was kinda tight.

    event1013 has been super helpful from the start of my wedding planning process to booking to all my random frequently asked questions that followed. I initially chose event1013 due to its DIY nature but planning a DIY wedding can be challenging and the staff there have definitely calmed my nerves by providing additional add-on services for the things that I just can't do myself. I can't wait to get married there!

    I couldn't have chosen a better venue for our wedding. We wanted something different and non-traditional. This place used to be an antique shop when I was little that my mom and I used to go to, so it also holds a special place in my heart.

    I haven't found another venue that lets you bring in your own food and alcohol! We are saving THOUSANDS this way. The staff is so friendly (even with the multitude of questions I've asked). Plus it's so nice having the ceremony and reception in the same building.

    We love the look of this place and really don't have to do much as far as decorating goes, it has the original hardwood floors from the 1890s and exposed bricks giving it a rustic/industrial look. Highly recommended!

    My husband is active duty military and when he proposed, we knew we didn't have a large window of time to get married in. As many of you know, when you have short notice to book a venue, it can be RIDICULOUSLY expensive, and we weren't even wanting an all-day event. We contacted Deborah, the owner, and she was AMAZING! She understood our situation and was so flexible- I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars for that. The staff was nothing short of 100% accommodating, the venue is gorgeous, and I had absolutely no venue-related stress on my wedding day. I have received endless compliments on where we got married.     Event1013 is a stunning venue. My husband and I fell in love with it the minute we walked in. With 100 guests the space worked perfect for us, our wedding was beautiful and you can't beat the price. I liked the DIY nature of this venue, but if you don't want to find and manage your own vendors - hire a wedding coordinator. My only real complaint is the communication with the venue. Even the week of the wedding they were hard to reach plus on more than one occasion if felt like we were getting different stories. Overall, this is a gorgeous venue that I would love to visit again!

    We held the Wedding after Dinner/Party for daughter's wedding at event1013. They were absolutely fabulous. It was the perfect venue for our event. We had seats for about 120 people in the main room and it was the perfect balance of room and intimacy. The staff are great to work with and if I had a do over, I would definitely work with event1013 and will certainly consider them for events in the future!

    My husband and I recently got married here (less than a month ago) and we were very happy with everything. Denise, Deborah, Melissa, and Lacey were amazing and helped us every step of the way, which was really nice considering we didn't have a wedding coordinator. Even though I emailed them constantly and was probably a bit annoying, they never made me feel like I was being a bother and always responded promptly.

    The venue is beautiful and we had the option to rent a variety of decor (which we did) at a very fair and reasonable price. We opted to have them set up our decor that way we didn't have to worry about it, and Melissa did an AMAZING job with very little direction from us. Our "day of" supervisory, Lacey, was so awesome and was there every time I needed her during the wedding and reception, and even though she was running around making sure everything was okay, she still had a smile on her face.

    The location is great and makes for beautiful wedding pictures and if I had to do it all over again, I would definitely come back here. If you are even thinking about having your wedding/event here...you really should!

    Our guests loved this venue! It had a really cool atmosphere and everyone was very helpful the day of the event! We rented a lot of items to help with overall cost and it went great!
