We initially met DJ Tim at two separate wedding expos and we came away impressed by him at both meetings. He set up a zoom meeting for us to discuss potentially hiring him for our wedding and we were blown away at both his meticulous attention to detail and his passion and energy for his craft. Throughout the time leading up to the wedding he was always very responsive and quick to answer any questions that we had and we loved how comprehensive and organized his planning tool was. On the day of the wedding, DJ Tim arrived early to set up and even helped a family member, who played guitar during our ceremony, get set up as well to ensure everything would go smooth during the ceremony. He transitioned the music seamlessly from ceremony, to cocktail hour, and dinner before getting the party started during the reception. He made sure that the dance floor was full all night and we received feedback from our guests about how much fun they all had and how it was the best dance floor they had been on at a wedding, which was all we could have ever hoped for. We also chose to have the photo booth as part of our package, which was a huge hit with our guests. DJ Tim’s wife was the one operating it and did so efficiently and with a smile on her face, helping to get as many pictures of our guests as she could and putting them together in a book that is one of our favorite wedding keepsakes. Overall we could not be happier with our choice to hire Event Perfect Entertainment and we would recommend DJ Tim to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or big event! -

Tim was excellent in every aspect. We spoke a couple of times prior to the wedding and went over every single detail. The paying plan is excellent and also the webpage has plenty of songs to look through. I liked that Tim gave me many suggestions in terms of music which made my life easier. I told him about the crowd that was going to be present and he did a great job keeping the dance floor full at all the time. I had people asking me after where did I get that DJ cause he was so good. Tim is full of energy and very patient. I liked the fact that he has a back up plan in case something ever happens. He was at the venue hours before the event, which made me relaxed. I asked Tim if he had a pink tie to match the colors of the wedding and he was really cool about that and he showed up in a blue suit with pink tie. Everyone noticed that and loved his attitude about it. He fitted right in as if he was part of the family/friends. He did and excellent job, I got many compliments for choosing him. I couldn't have done a better choice. I read many reviews and that's how I pick him for a DJ. Best thing I ever did. THANK YOU TIM!

I recommend DJ Tim Smith for any event that requires exceptional music entertainment. His performance left an indelible mark on everyone present. Tim's talent extends beyond just playing music. He has a innate ability to read the crowd, adapt to their energy, and curate playlists that keep the dance floor alive. What sets Tim apart is his professionalism and attention to detail. From our initial consultation to the event day, he was communicative, punctual. and receptive to our preferences. He took the time to understand our musical tastes and incorporated our favorite songs seamlessly into the mix. Tim's equipment setup was top-notch, delivering crystal clear sound without overpowering the venue. His lighting effects added an extra layer of excitement, enhancing the overall ambiance. Tim and Alex did a fantastic job at our wedding. During our first meeting, Tim showed he was very organized, knowledgeable and professional. On the day of our wedding, Tim and Alex put our minds at ease by showing up early, setting up their equipment and up-lighting without issue, and keeping our rowdy bridal party in check. From the moment the reception started until the last song ended, the dance floor was absolutely packed. Tim and Alex read the crowd perfectly, and every song kept the guests on the dance floor. We heard from multiple family members and friends that our wedding had the best music by far. We cannot thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone! -

Tim is the best at what he does! He truly reads the dance floor and listens to what your vision is. We had the best day of our lives because of his DJ’ing skills. I love to dance and it was great seeing the dance floor filled all night. We had a small wedding of 65 guests, but almost everyone was on that dance floor at one point in the night! I wish we could relive the night—we wouldn’t have Tim change a thing.

We are so happy we hired Tim to be DJ for our wedding! From the start, he was excellent to communicate with and his detailed wedding day outline form was so helpful in planning what we wanted for that special day from a musical standpoint. His DJ style got everyone out on the dance floor, including my dad who probably only danced a total of 3 times in his entire life! That should tell you something! After postponing our original wedding date due to COVID, the reception night was exactly how my husband and I pictured it would be thanks to Tim!!Event Perfect Entertainment's reply:

Everything about Tim (his presentation, his appearance, his dj setup, his approach) was so professional. To be honest, we interviewed 6 DJs and Tim is definitely not the cheapest. But we have several friends who all recently got married and yet we went dj shopping here on TheKnot. Why? Because none of our friends would recommend we hire their wedding dj. Tim was responsive to all of our inquiries, walked us thru the must-plays, father/daughter and every detail. He took great care both the week before to ensure he had pronunciations on all names. Your wedding is all about the details. As for the music, Tim was always present. He's not there to play a setlist, he kept a pulse on the room and was at the station all night taking requests and made sure we were all dancing. Would absolutely hire Tim again! -

Tim and his wife were so much fun to work with. We had to reschedule our date and Tim was absolutely accommodating, no questions asked. He was so easy to talk to and work with. Incredibly professional and a great sense of humor. The photo booth was a hit and one of my prized gifts was a photo album from Tim and his wife with pictures of everyone and little signed notes. Such a sweet gesture. We would absolutely hire Tim and Event Perfect Entertainment for any future functions that require great entertainment! -

DJ Tim Smith impressed us on our wedding day in Maine, not only with his skill in choosing music that matched our interests, but in making sure we were well cared for and that the evening followed our plan. Hiring Tim for our Wedding last year was one of the best decisions we made. He was prompt, courteous, and respected our choices to not play disco music. The photo booth was a great and reasonably priced addition and a big hit. He even sent us home with a booklet of all of the photobooth prints. Highly recommended!Event Perfect Entertainment's reply:

Event Perfect Entertainment was a wonderful addition to our wedding day, and did not disappointment. The knowledge, skill, and ability to read the crowd was pivotal to entertaining our group. Tim at EPE provided great music selections, and well as lighting and sound for our event. The up lighting made the space even more special, and he was extremely helpful in helping the crowd navigate, and make the evening flow. When we met with Tim Smith he was so patient and understood exactly how we wanted the night to sound. Mike made it all a reality. My aisle walk song was the only thing that I was bridezilla about and honestly the second I heard it and saw Justin everything else just melted away. The up lighting was beautiful, the shoe game was fun, and he got everyone to dance. Less dancing was expected with our families but we were so surprised at everyone on the dance floor. They have great equipment and packages to fit every budget. Also, they are just really nice people and great to work with. -

My wife and I had the privilege of having Tim and his wonderful wife Sacha as the DJ for our wedding. Tim really listens and pays attention to what you want. The slideshow was beautiful and he literally will play whatever you want to hear. Tim made this day so magical! Everyone loved the music and photo booth. We had a blast!! I would 100% recommend Tim. You will be happy that you did.

DJ Tim was fantastic! His event planner had me and my husband think everything through before the big day, there were no surprises! He has a consultation call before hand to go through all the small details and names which he takes his time on and you can tell he cares.
The best part about Tim is he went over and beyond for us, my husband is from New Zealand so we had a whole dinner playlist that was just kiwi songs. Tim took the time to go through all the songs with me to make sure he downloaded the correct version for our special night. I couldn't have been happier when the best man turned to me and said "Tory, you made this playlist? It's sweet as!" and continued to sing along. Tim never mentioned or complained to me how this took more time out of his day than normal weddings or how it was a pain to find specific versions he just made it happen :) That is the stuff that I will remember years from now thanks to Tim.
Plus!!! He works well with other performers! We hired an acoustic singer to perform at our ceremony and cocktail hour and he was SO understanding and helpful. He helped her set up her sound system on top of a hill and then bring it down to where cocktail hour was being held. It's important to mention, it was a super hot day in the middle of summer.
Lastly, he was there through each step of the way giving us the 10 and 5 minute warning, he kept the whole party on schedule.
Thank you so much Tim for making it easy for us, I can't thank you enough!
If you are a kiwi, Tim already has the perfect playlist for you. Or if you are a couple that is overwhelmed by the traditions and how everything is going to be slammed into only 5 hours Tim is your guy. He knows the ropes and can walk you through everything. There is no stupid question (believe me, I asked them). -

We are so happy we went with Tim and his team for our wedding DJ! From what I’ve seen on his website and FB I know he will do an amazing job for us on our day! He has great add ons available and very flexible and responsive. We can tell he loves what he does. I love how I can log into my personal wedding account and add all my music and make lists and request and research music! He makes it so easy and less stressful in picking music! I loved having Tim as our DJ! I could relax pretty easily knowing he was on the job. We got to go over everything ahead of time, he had a super organized planner to help us think through the day (though we had some technical issues picking out songs/artists with it prior to our run-through meeting, didn't matter too much as we still made a list), and he was willing to make adjustments the day of. If I could have done it again I would have still gone with him since the party could not have been more fun. Despite the age range and cultural diversity of the crowd, Tim kept everyone moving until the night's end, with great transitions to classic wedding traditions.Event Perfect Entertainment's reply:
