Kenneth helped make our wedding venue even more perfect than we could have imagined. He installed a disco ball for us on the deck of our wedding venue while everyone was inside eating so that it was a wow factor when we came back out for dancing. The mirrorball was stunning and brought exactly the fun, magical, groovy vibes we were going for—it truly lit up the night!
His communication leading up to the event was incredibly professional, and the install was so smooth.
Highly recommend Kenneth if you want your wedding to shine! -

Kenneth with Event Excellence Light and Sound strung beautiful Edison bulbs for us in the 128 South venue tent, which provided great lighting for our ceremony and for the post-reception dancing! He was actually able to set up our lights a day before, which was really unexpected! It was one less thing we needed to worry about on the day of our wedding. We would highly recommend hiring Event Excellence Light and Sound for all of your lighting needs. Kenneth was extremely professional and the value of his services exceeded our expectations!

We got married inside at Bakery 105 and wanted draping during the ceremony. The draping Event Excellence provided really elevated the look of the room. Kenneth was also very prompt at responding. -

Beautiful lights and draping
We used event excellence for our wedding in April at the Brooklyn Arts Center church. The draping on the windows turned out beautiful and we had Edison bulbs hanging across the entire inside venue that looked amazing especially in the evening when the lights were turned down! We also used their Edison board to hang a gorgeous floral installation on the large window that was perfect! -

Event excellence did an excellent job with the out door lighting that we needed for our wedding. We decided to add some additional lighting so that guests could enjoy outside Wrightsville manor and continue playing the yard games we brought for cocktail hour.
Kenneth was affordable and a prompt responder. -

Though I never had the privilege of meeting Michael in person, he did a phenomenal job on our wedding lighting and sound. Michael transformed the decking of our rental home on the coast into an absolute fairytale! It made our small, romantic wedding feel every more magical.
Michael also was able to come to our aide at the last minute with sound equipment for our beach ceremony, he was awesome!

He even set up our reception/party lights at the house we rented for our reception 2 days early and took them down 2 days after the event at no extra charge. He wanted us to be able to enjoy our lights to the fullest. And we did! He set up quickly and was super efficient and personable. I would definitely recommend hiring Event Excellence for any special occasion. -

Kenneth was very responsive to all email communications and met our lighting needs for our wedding based on our budget. The Edison lighting we chose was beautiful and gave a romantic illumination to our reception at 128 South, a space that he works with regularly. Really appreciated how easy it was to work with him! -

They are very hard to get a response from but worth the multiple tries! They put drapery from the ceiling beams to a chandelier in the middle over our dance floor. We also had them put drapery on the columns and a light wall. I don’t have a picture of the drapery and chandelier but it really looked amazing! -

Nerve wracking
I met With the owner in February. I heard nothing from him again. By August I was panicking. He never returned emails ur calls. Eventually I handed this over to my wedding planner. The whole exercise was extremely frustrating and stressful.
Finally the day before the wedding the company turned up.
Dressing the tent draping the walls. Putting fairly lights in the ceiling. It really was a great job. Transforming a very average tent into a very pretty space. We used our own chandeliers and lanterns . -
