We worked with Event Excellence to add market lights to the outdoor deck at our wedding venue (The River Room in downtown Wilmington) and are so glad we did. It was an easy and affordable process and added so much to the space!

I didn't really think about lighting at all up until 2 weeks before my wedding. I was recommended to Event Excellence by my planner Jana from Design a Dream and got the lights I needed quickly. Wonderful!
Though I never had the privilege of meeting Michael in person, he did a phenomenal job on our wedding lighting and sound. Michael transformed the decking of our rental home on the coast into an absolute fairytale! It made our small, romantic wedding feel every more magical.
Michael also was able to come to our aide at the last minute with sound equipment for our beach ceremony, he was awesome!

Michael at Event Excellence is awesome! He was super patient with me and was very accommodating with a few last minute changes we had in our lighting plan. He strung bistro lights inside a 40x60 tent for my wedding and it was so beautiful. He is super reasonably priced as well! I would definitely recommend Michael for any of your event lighting needs!

Michael was really great to work with. Out of all of the vendors I had contacted he was the quickest to respond to my questions and offered the best prices and quality. He even set up our reception/party lights at the house we rented for our reception 2 days early and took them down 2 days after the event at no extra charge. He wanted us to be able to enjoy our lights to the fullest. And we did! He set up quickly and was super efficient and personable. I would definitely recommend hiring Event Excellence for any special occasion.

Michael from Event Excellence handled the lighting for our May 29th, 2016 wedding at the Country Club of Landfall. Michael did an absolutely fantastic job. The lighting was gorgeous. We had pin lighting on the cake to make it really standout and uplighting against the walls in the ballroom. The uplighting really added to the room and he could change the colors from neutral for dinner to pink for dancing right from his cellphone. Michael was really lovely to work with as well. When we were worried that our outdoor ceremony was going to be rained out he even offered to add lighting to the room we had as a backup plan. He really goes over and above for his customers and we could not recommend him enough!!
