DJ Dave was great!
DJ Dave Holmes did an amazing job at our wedding! From the beginning, Dave was very responsive to my endless questions and always professional. His pricing is very reasonable compared to other vendors. The online portal set up by Dave was very easy to use and kept everything organized in one place. At our in person meeting, Dave ran through all the details for our wedding and played each song we requested for special dances, introductions, etc. to ensure we approved of everything. At our wedding, Dave kept the party going by playing all of our favorite songs! Everyone danced the night away and raved about how much fun it was! I would highly recommend Dave Holmes and Event Entertainment.

The best Maryland DJ company
We hired DJ David for our wedding, and he was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, he was incredibly easy to work with — super responsive, organized, and open to all of our ideas. He made our playlist exactly how we wanted it, blending our favorite songs perfectly and keeping the energy just right all night. Our guests had an amazing time, and we got so many compliments on the music!
The cost was absolutely worth the value — he delivered way beyond our expectations. Highly recommend him if you want a stress-free experience and a DJ who truly listens and delivers.

Excellent Wedding DJ
DJ Dave was fantastic! He took everyone's request and really set the mood for the whole event. During photos my bridesmaids were joking that they needed to ask him for the playlist because he had such a good variety. He also provided light sticks since we told him we had kids at our event, and we were also able to use those light sticks for our send off when our venue lost the bubbles that were supposed to be used. Event Entertainment went above and beyond to make our day special!

Elevated our reception to the next level!
David and his team did a wonderful job helping us make our wedding reception extra special. He served as an outstanding master of ceremonies throughout the reception and helped us with planning every step of the way. The music selection was very broad and we were able to select songs for every preference, especially for dancing! He led us off with songs for the wedding ceremony and easily transitioned to happy hour and then the reception. He worked seamlessly with our wedding planner and photographers to make sure everything progressed without delay. The sound and light quality was exceptional and we definitely got our money's worth. I highly recommend David and for any event and he will help make it unforgettable!

The most caring, professional, and observant DJ
We had Dave Holmes as our DJ during our wedding in late March. First, he is very caring. Based on the questions he asked and how much he prepared before we met up, we know he wants to make sure that our wedding day run smoothly, and he did everything on his end to make that possible. He went through every single song we wanted to play during the ceremony and dance to make sure it is the version of the music we want. Second, he is very professional. During the meeting, he mentioned about all the possible problems we might run into the day of and talked about ways to solve them. He made sure he knows how to pronounce all the names. It is without doubt, Dave is very experienced and knows what he is doing. We are very relieved and confident after meeting with him. Thank you, Dave for all your hard work to make our day special!

Amazing dj!
We loved having Dave Holmes from Event Entertainment DJ our wedding! He made the process extremely simple by providing a patient portal where we were able to identify our must play songs and music preferences. His communication was also great all the way through. Dave was so much fun to work with and our guests stayed on the dance floor for the whole night after dinner! A couple of our guests who are planning their own wedding asked for his information at the end of the night since they had such a great time. Highly recommend Dave and Event Entertainment for any of your DJ needs!

Amazing DJ Dave for our wedding

Event Exceeds Expectations!
We found Event Entertainment through our venue's recommended vendors, and we are so glad that did! First, their pricing and packaging are so affordable and it really relieved us of stress by being able to book them for our DJ, photography, and videography requests. Additionally, they were so flexible and had no issues moving our date a year later with us when we had to postpone due to Covid. They were so personable and every phone conversation, email, and text were all professional and lovely.
Meeting Dave in person beforehand was so helpful and he addressed all of our questions and requests. He was able to find all of our songs despite some of them being audio on Spotify and TikTok and walked us through the whole event. He served as a great MC for our reception as well, and collaborated with our Day of Coordinator to ensure that they kept on track.
Rob and Alex also were amazing! They had both shot the venue before and were already very knowledgeable about where to take photos. They both did a fantastic job and the photos and DVD came out better than we could have ever imagined. It was also so nice to get the highlight reel from Alex in addition to the whole ceremony! It will be great to be able to relive that day in its entirety. We definitely received more photos than we thought we would from Rob, and he did a great job getting in all the outdoor shots before the rain pushed us inside. We received everything within a couple of weeks as well!
Overall, I cannot rave enough about Event Entertainment's flexibility, friendliness, and quality.

Experience That Captures Those Special Moments
Event Entertainment (and more specifically, Dave Holmes and his assistant) did an incredible job at our wedding back in May 2022! We have been to some weddings where the DJ’s playlist selection was questionable, which fragmented the dance floor experience. Selecting a great DJ was a top priority for us. After reaching out to Event Entertainment, we quickly got a response from Dave Holmes who had our date available. From our first phone call, Dave gave us confidence that he has the experience to keep the party going and read the crowd. Event Entertainment had a great website where you could list the songs that you wanted played for the important moments of your ceremony/reception. This template really helped us think about the major moments of our big day and helped the discussion with Dave as our wedding date approached. He used this form to really solidify the music plan for the day. We even had a choreographed first dance where we wanted him to fade the song at a specific moment and he seamlessly made it happen. Dave executed the event perfectly and helped make our wedding day special. We even surveyed some of our close friends to see what they thought and they loved how he ran the music.

The Dj Dave did wonderful playing all the good music in order to keep my guest up dancing all night long. The videographer Alex and the photographer Carroll took the best shots and we absolutely loved the photos and video we got back from them. Event Entertainment was the best company to hire for our DJ needs. Not only did we use them for music and entertainment, we used them for our photobooth too. Dave was amazing and super friendly. He met with us before the wedding to go over our songs and was even able to help us find the version of our first dance song that was incredibly hard to find. After the wedding was over, my husband and I received a package in the mail from Event Entertainment and it was a short video of our wedding/reception. I didn't even know that Dave had been recording any of it and it was best little video we have! You must hire Event Entertainment, you will not regret it!

Amazing DJ that Blended our Varied Musical Needs
My husband and I searched for a while to find the perfect DJ for our wedding. Dave was a perfect fit. The Venn Diagram of our wedding styles was LGBT (we are a same sex couple), top pop, Caribbean (my husband is from PR), classic dance hits, and a slight mix of sci-fi. Dave had experience in all of these styles (gay weddings, sci fi, latino, and a mix of regular top pop dance music). He balanced the music with the rotating events of the wedding (entering with some pensive Battlestar Galactica and exiting with some Star Wars), the cocktail hour, and the reception (opening with Conga and ending with Sweet Caroline). He blended our different styles into one seamless experience.
He sent us a website that linked to a music database where we could populate the songs that we found interesting as well as adding in a few random songs that he may not have in his portfolio (which was extensive). After finalizing our list, we had a pre-wedding meeting with Dave where we discussed our musical/audio expectations and finalized the plan for the night. Dave was amazingly helpful and gave us advice on which songs would be perfect (quiet, somber, exciting, dance, etc) for different parts of our night.
It was a huge success and we were very pleased with Dave. Dave was there for us whenever we needed anything. He even surprised us with a video of the event as a gift to the couple. I would highly recommend Dave to our LGBT friends and family looking for a wedding DJ.

Wonderful DJ Company
Dave was really easy to get in contact with and connected me to one of the DJs that work for him, DJ Brandon.
We had a 2 day-bi cultural wedding and DJ Brandon was able to accommodate our needs for both cultures and weddings! DJ Brandon is extremely warm, genuine and professional and was able to capture the exact atmosphere we were going for both days of our wedding. He has an extensive library of music ranging from throwbacks to contemporary music spanning several genres including South Asian music, which was needed for our wedding. Music he did not have he easily acquired and he played exactly what we asked for day of. On top of music, he was a wonderful MC during speeches to keep the evening moving a long efficiently and we really appreciated how much he checked in on us during throughout the evenings to make sure we had what we needed! Awesome experience!!
We were fortunate enough to have Dave Holmes from Event Entertainment recommended to us for our wedding. We started by browsing the typical vendor list that the venue provides, but we are so thankful we came across Dave's name through a friend.
Dave met with us both prior to the wedding and eased all of our uncertainties about the flow of our reception. He was very professional, easy to talk to and responsive. He wanted to make sure he accommodated all of our needs and you could tell he wanted to get to know us and prepare for the day!
The online portal allowed us to request songs, create a do not play list, etc. It also had lists of song ideas organized by different categories which was very helpful. Dave had all of our music, even one Christian song we weren't expecting he would have for our first dance!
One of the best things about our experience was that it ran so smooth and we could tell Dave had a great way of making sure all of the vendors (photographer, videographer, floor manager etc.) were in the loop and on track. We didn't hire a day of coordinator for our reception, but we didn't need one. Dave took cues, was flexible and made sure all of our guests were having good time and that our vendors could get what they needed as well.
Once the music started and guests warmed up, the dancing did not stop! We had so much fun and would definitely recommend Dj Dave Holmes!!

We loved dj dave!
My husband and I hired Event Entertainment for our wedding in June of 2019. Needless to say, we were overwhelmed with what a great choice that was. Dave met us a couple weeks before the wedding to get to know exactly what we were hoping for on our wedding day in regards to DJ services. Dave was professional, knowledgeable, and very flexible with our varying requests. On the day of the wedding, Dave arrived early and had everything set up in a very timely manner. There was never an interruption in the music and festivities. The sound equipment was perfect. When it was time to start dancing, Dave matched the music to every mood, from perfect dinner music to the best dancing. Everyone danced the whole night. He even had us do a conga line and brought tambourines and sombreros, which were an overwhelming hit. (We had asked Dave to do this from the beginning). Everyone had so much fun and we highly recommend his services to all engaged couples looking for a reasonably priced and extremely professional DJ. Thanks again, Dave!

Dave did such a great job with our wedding! He was a reccomendation from a friend and he exceeded our expectations! We specifically asked for good classic wedding dancing songs and our families danced all night!

Wonderful Experience
DJ Dave did an amazing job DJ’ing my wedding. He was super responsive throughout the planning period and made sure to meet with us prior to the wedding to review the plan. The music was awesome and he played all our must haves. He took guest requests and made sure to gage the dance floor and play music accordingly. The photography package he offered was also stellar. The photographer, Mr Flanders did an amazing job and captured beautiful shots.

Fantastic!
We had Brandon for our wedding this past weekend. He was fantastic! He worked with us to plan out the music for the entire evening. The process was fun and very organized. People thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail music and the dance floor was full the whole evening! Brandon even went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening, bringing us drinks etc. We didn’t have to worry about a thing with Brandon there keeping us on track. We highly recommend him!

Dave was a wonderful addition to our wedding. He met with us the week before the wedding to go over everything and pointed out a few helpful things we hadn't considered. At the event, he played the perfect setlist and helped make sure we stayed on schedule so the bride and I could focus on having fun. He even took some video! Awesome, experienced DJ!
Dave is great! Very responsive and professional. My now husband and I were nervous because we wanted to fuse two songs together for our first dance, as well as dance to shortened versions of the original songs for our mother-son and father-daughter dances. Dave did not hesitate to offer to mix them together and sent us several different options that we could use for those songs, and then multiple rounds of edits when I asked him to tweak different parts of the transitions in the songs. Dave and his wife even video taped parts of the reception and gave it to us on DVD complimentary. That was so nice and so unexpected and as a bride who couldn't afford to pay the videographer to stay well into the reception, that was some priceless footage to have. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the service and highly recommend Dave!

So easy to work with!
Dave was great to work with! We gave him some requests, but also left a lot of the music choices up to him and he nailed it! Our dance floor was full from start to finish which was just what we wanted! We never felt like we had to manage this vendor, the whole process was very seamless. Dave's wife also came to help with set up and took some video of the day which was such an unexpected surprise! We loved working with Dave!

Knows how to keep the party going!
Dave from Event Entertainment was a true gem to work with. We used his services for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and rehearsal for our September wedding and he kept the party going all night! He was always quick to respond (even when I wasn't, bad bride alert! Thank you for your patience, Dave!) and never said no to our song requests, even if our picks weren't currently in his library.
We are still getting notes back about how much fun people had at our wedding and I attribute that to Dave and his team that kept the floor full the whole time! I would absolutely recommend Event Entertainment.

Amazing Team!
We used Event Entertainment for DJ services, Videography, Photo booth, and up lighting and everything was wonderful. Dave and his team were professional and responsive and overall wonderful to work with. We have gotten nothing but compliments on our reception from how great the music was to all the awesome props for the photo booth and the uniqueness of our Guest Book (photo strips from the photo booth). Dave as our DJ was wonderful and checked in through out to make sure we were keeping on track with the timeline for the reception. We sat down with him a couple days before the wedding to go over everything and he even confirmed he had the correct songs downloaded and edited so there were no issue or mix ups. I truly appreciated that effort as we had heard horror stories of the wrong songs being played. We were nervous about keeping people on the dance floor especially since we tend to listen to music not a lot of people listen to. Dave kept it as a good mix of what we requested and what he knew would keep people going and we couldn't be happier.
I would also like to mention we are very impressed to have received our final wedding video 3 weeks after the wedding. We honestly weren't expecting to see it until after Christmas. While we haven't watched it yet, if it's anything like the highlight video we received it's going to be incredible.

DJ Dave Holmes was fantastic!
We used DJ Dave Holmes and his company Event Entertainment to DJ/MC our wedding in September and we are so happy with the results. He kept the party going and no one left the dance floor for at least 3 hours. He kept our guests entertained and did a great job at MC-ing all of the different aspects of the wedding like the introductions, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc... He had a great mix of music for young and old that everyone wanted to dance to. I've seen DJs in the past that have great music that weren't good MCs or the other way around but that was not the case with DJ Dave!
We met with him a week or two prior to our big day to figure out our time line and to make sure everyone was on board with how and when everything was to occur. He really made us feel heard and took all of our suggestions into account to give us the party we wanted. He was so professional and even played the songs for us to make sure he had the right versions selected. He was so cool and relaxed and answered all of our questions to make our big day as stress free as possible. We really felt at ease and confident in our decision to use him.
He had an eclectic mix of music and really catered it to our audience. He really brought the fun! Our guests were so thrilled and I even had a few ask for his information before the end of the night!!
Since our wedding day we have heard again and again how fun our wedding was and we completely credit that to Dave! We are so thankful that we used Dave and his company to DJ and MC our wedding because we had an absolute blast! If we could get married again we would hire him all over.
I highly recommend him because of his professionalism, experience, and ability to cater to any audience!

My husband and I just had our wedding on Saturday in Annapolis. It was an amazing experience from start to finish! Dave Holmes, the owner of Event Entertainment, was the DJ for my daughter's wedding on Aug 11th, 2018. From the first phone call to his follow up after the wedding, Dave was an absolute pleasure to work with. Dave has a lot of experience and was highly recommended by our caterer. Dave was very professional and very reasonable. He had the dance floor rocking the entire evening. Dave's corporate motto is "Exceeding Expectations" and he did exactly that. Unbeknownst to us, Dave and his wife went out of their way to capture some of the most memorable moments of the wedding.

Dave Holmes was amazing to work with! He responded to emails and phone calls right away, and went out of his way to make sure we had the night of our dreams. He was very responsive to the crowd and played music that kept the party going! The online planning site was so easy to use and helpful. We had a final meeting that made us all feel confident it would all work out for the big day. We also used his Photo Booth service which had 2 attendants. I recommend using this, too, because my guests had a blast and there were so many amazing props to use! The scrapbook that came with it was also amazing and we will keep forever. We are so thrilled we chose Dave for our DJ! You won't regret it!

We chose DJ Dave Holmes based on very good reviews that we had saw during our search for a DJ. We met with him first and subsequently stopped our DJ search because our first meeting with him was great. Turns out he was a great choice. He was very easy to work with, very responsive and made the whole process of hiring and coordinating with a DJ very easy, which was nice so we could focus on planning other things. The website they use is very easy to use. You get to pick your preferred music and identify ceremony and other wedding music. He was able to play a few "custom" songs that we provided him and coordinate with my sisters singing during the ceremony. We met a few times before the wedding and never had any doubts. Complete professional. In terms of the reception, we got a lot of compliments that this was one of the most fun weddings with the most dancing they've seen. I highly recommend Dave or a DJ from Event Entertainment!!

Dave Holmes of Event Entertainment is the sweetest DJ you will meet around the greater Baltimore area! He is wonderful to work with because he is professional, attentive, organized, patient, and responsive. My husband and I worked extensively on our wedding playlists for each part of our big day, choosing certain songs for specific parts of the festivities. When we met with Dave at our final meeting after submitting our music, he showed us all our songs in playlists on his laptop ready to go for our special day. Not only did Dave listen to the style of music we wanted, but he also helped us choose songs that weaved nicely into our soundtrack and made any last-minute changes in a timely manner. My brother used Event Entertainment for his wedding, so when I got engaged, they were my first choice for DJ services. They did not disappoint! Brandon was our DJ for the night and he was very accommodating. We also had an acoustic guitarist for our ceremony and Brandon worked collaboratively with him to make sure all of our audio needs were taken care of. He also met with us about a month before the wedding to go over all of the logistics to make sure the night was a success!
On our wedding day, Brandon went above and beyond not only making sure the music was in-line with our requests, but also checked on my husband and I to make sure we had enough food and drinks, something we both really appreciated. The music was great and Brandon rolled with it when we made a few tweaks during the night to allow more time for dancing - I would definitely recommend Event Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding!

Mike of Event Entertainment helped make the wedding a great success. The feedback that we got from everyone was that they had a great time - which was our goal. Mike helped plan the event, but more that that, he made sure that things went as planned. When we got caught up in the event, enjoying the moment, he made sure that things continued to flow. I met Dave about 18 months before my wedding and hired him immediately. A fellow Baltimorean, I knew I had made the right decision. I'm really glad I did. Dave was extremely accommodating and went out of his way to ensure I had the exact music and playlists I wanted. From our first dance compilation to our Trap music section, everything was perfect. He even sent me a video of our wedding highlights so we could relive everything. Weddings move very fast and becomes a blur, so the video was a nice touch.

Dave was outstanding! Dave was not only the DJ, he was also was a master of minding the reception, keeping everything moving on time. He worked with us for our music selection and the songs he chose were spot on for the crowd. I don't think I've ever been to a wedding or party where the music and dancing generated so much energy. It was so amazing, even the event photographers stayed beyond their allotted contract time because everyone was having so much fun. We also rented a photo booth from Dave and that was a great hit. We were also surprised when Dave went above and beyond and sent us video he recorded while he was working. If you're looking for an experienced and professional DJ, look no further.

Event Entertainment is an excellent company. Dave made my husband and I feel at ease from the beginning of our wedding planning. We chose Richard as our DJ, Carroll as our photographer, and Alex as our videographer. The whole team responded quickly to all of our questions. Richard had our guests on the dance floor for the entire reception. Carroll took so many wonderful pictures. Alex did a fabulous job on our wedding video. Our wedding pictures and video were received extremely fast. All of them made us feel very special. We are so happy and thankful that we picked this vendor for our wedding!

The DJ for our event was Brandon, who came recommended by a friend. He did a great job, finding our requests and fitting the dinner and dancing music to our tastes and was very unobtrusive throughout the event. He also did the ceremony music and was really cooperative with meeting me and playing a bunch of different options for processional music to find what I liked best. We were really happy overall and their pricing was very reasonable.

Dave is outstanding - we were told by many folks, including the owner of a venue who works with more than 70 DJs in the tri-state area, that we were getting the best DJ out there and they were not wrong. Dave was incredibly easy to work with, very proactive in reaching out to us when timeline called for it, responsive and resourceful too. We could tell he is revered in the wedding industry. ALL our guests, including us of course, had an amazing time at the wedding, they said the music was great, entertaining, and many guests commented on the sound quality- they didn't feel like they were getting blasted away and could actually hear when people were speaking to them. One of our guests attended a wedding at the same venue as our wedding a few days prior with a different DJ, they gave us many compliments about sound quality difference. If your looking for a DJ for your event, you'd be crazy not to book Dave!

Just had our wedding last Friday with DJ Johnny, who is bilingual (husband's family speaks Spanish). The beginning of the planning process was a breeze! We were given access to a personal website where we could create the timeline for our reception and select songs for the specific parts like the first dance, speeches, garter toss, etc. If there were songs I didn't see on their list, I was simply able to send a message and they obtained and played them at our reception.
The variety of songs was top notch! There were many moments where all of the seats in the room were empty because everyone was on the dance floor - exactly what we wanted! I would recommend Event Entertainment to anyone looking for a stellar DJ at an affordable price.

Amazing!! I booked Dj Brandon through Event entertainment and he was great!!! From the consultation to meeting right before the wedding to finalize things to the actual wedding, he was phenomenal!!! Dj Dave was very good. He met with us on the phone before hand and confirmed our songs and pronunciation of names. He made us feel really comfortable that he had everything under control. The day of the wedding he provided great music for the ceremony and reception. Our guests were on the dance floor the whole time and had a blast. After the wedding he sent us a video about our day too! It was so thoughtful and great since I did not get to see the parents and bridal party entrances. I was able to see them in the video he sent. He was great and would recommend others to hire him!

DJ Richard was fantastic. Not only does he know music, but he also knows weddings. For my daughter's wedding, DJ Richard provided the ceremony music and the reception music. Using the site provided by Event Entertainment to make music selections was perfect. We made our choices and that's really all DJ Richard needed. We did talk briefly before the event, but because he has a lot of experience with weddings, planning the event did not require a lot of interaction. During the wedding, he helped us stay on task by asking questions when he didn't think we had all the steps. I can't say enough about his contribution to the success of the wedding. The music was right for the audience, a mixture of young and old. We partied the night away and he helped make this happen. I would DEFINITELY hire him again!
Carroll was the photographer. He, too, was experienced and creative. He worked unnoticed, yet captured all the key photos. He was very professional and created several special moments with the rings, wedding shoes, cake, etc. Both the DJ and Photographer were on time and lived up to the terms of the contract. If you want experienced professionals for your wedding, Event Entertainment provides great services.

DJ Dave was amazing, from the time we booked him until our wedding (and beyond). He is very responsive, and when we met with him prior to the wedding, he had all the music we had requested ready to go. In fact, when we were meeting with him, another couple came over to tell us that Dave had been their DJ 11 years prior, and they raved about him. At our wedding, he not only had the perfect music for cocktail hour and dinner, he also got our party started when people were ready to dance. Our wedding had a lot of people who did not want to leave the dance floor, so DJ Dave kept the party going. As we have seen friends after our wedding, so many have raved about how much fun they had, and how great the DJ was. As the bride, the whole day is a blur, but Dave sent me a video afterwards, that showed all our friends and family having a blast, and a packed dance floor.
We also were about to book our videographer with Dave, and had a great experience with him as well.

I had them all through Event Entertainment and It was absolutely easy throughout the entire process. last thing you need on your wedding day is to contact multiple vendors when instead all you have to do is ask Dave! Best EVER!! Now onto DJ Dave! He is absolutely professional and makes sure that you are 100% satisfied with all of your choices at you pre wedding consultation meeting. By the time of your wedding, you have nothing to worry about because Dave has taken care of it. He monitors the other vendors that were booked with in Event Entertainment to make sure that they are on time so you won't have to worry about that! Dave is truly an amazing DJ and makes sure to get the crowd moving and grooving the entire night! Please pick Dave as your DJ!The photo booth that I had was absolutely awesome and I had so many people take pictures, I was so happy to make that choice! The quality and the detail was perfect also, there were SO many props to choose from a it's definitely a great time! For the Videographer Alex, Dave assigned him to me and I must say I absolutely lucked out! Alex was so professional and so detail oriented, he truly made me thankful to have him as my Videographer. Plus, the "movie" that I got. Ask for my wedding made me cry more than at my wedding. It was truly touching and I couldn't ask for anything else! My photographer was Nizam and he knocked it out of the ball park! I had Nizam and his assistant taking pictures throughout the getting process until the end of the wedding night. I had soooo many pictures and I was extremely happy with every single one.

We considered Event Entertainment for our DJ services based on a friend's recommendation. After reading several online reviews and watching videos on their website, we decided to book them for our October wedding in Taneytown, MD. We made sure to specifically request DJ Dave Holmes, and it ended up being the best decision ever. Throughout the planning process, DJ Dave was extremely professional and responsive. We especially loved Event Entertainment's planning website, which ensured that we were all on the same page regarding song preferences, reception logistics, etc. About a month before the wedding, we met with Dave in person to finalize any last-minute details and go over things like name pronunciations. During the reception, Dave was an excellent MC...he said just enough without distracting from the main events. Once our guests made it to the dance floor after dinner, nobody left. Dave really knows how to keep the party going and feel out a crowd. Several guests told us that they were planning to take a break to get another drink or use the restroom, but as soon as one good song ended, another good song started, and they didn't want to leave! Other guests have told us that Dave was the best DJ they've ever seen at a wedding. And we agree! Dave Holmes with Event Entertainment is a great DJ for a great value.

I highly recommend this vendor. I worked with Steve for my wedding. My father was totally worked up over the fact that nobody was going to dance at the wedding and it was going to be awkward. I voiced my concerns to Steve and he was great. He was very flexible with the music, offering to just play jazz background music if no one was dancing. I created a playlist using their event portal online and it was so easy to pick songs. They allowed me to pick 10 "must play" songs and 100 other songs. Steve used my music picks and worked others into the playlist that matched my style of music. My father was also nervous about the father-daughter dance and Steve worked with us also by asking others to join in the dance after the first 30 seconds. Steve made the day flow smoothly by making announcements and his timing was perfect. I hae a Ukrainian side of the family and he played a few polka songs, which is what people danced the most to! He was very pleasant to work with and his experience was greatly appreciated!

I had the privilege of working with Dave, the owner of Event Entertainment. While planning our wedding, I quickly realized that vendors really lack communication. I can say that Dave was the ONLY vendor that was very communicative. He would respond to my emails right away, and answer all of my questions (another thing I realized, some vendors wouldn't answer all questions). Our makeup artist/friend recommended Event Entertainment and I am so happy that she did. We wanted a fun wedding, and we got that with Dave. Everyone was dancing right from the start and that was important to me. Dave was very professional and even had his wife at our wedding to help out. She recorded a lot of our wedding, and we received a very nice video. Dave met up with us at the venue during our tasting, so he could make sure he had the proper cord to connect to their system for the cocktail hour. A week prior to our wedding we met again, and he went over songs that we wanted, or didn't want played. It was nice, because he even asked if I had a song from my college years that he should play. Dave was even flexible when we weren't sure if the weather would be decent enough to have our ceremony outside. It is hard trying to decide which vendors to go with while planning a wedding, unless someone is recommended. We would highly recommend Event Entertainment and even had several people tell us how great our DJ was.

I got in contact with Dave about 8 months ago when I first started researching DJs. From the very first moment we spoke I could tell how professional and easy he would be to work with. Dave always responsed promptly and was extremely flexible during my busy schedule (being in military training during the last 4 months before the wedding). Dave knows his stuff. Since it was a half-Hispanic wedding, he provided a great mix of Latin and American music that both sides of the family enjoyed! He is also always there to help and offer suggestions but will never step on your toes. I could say millions of great things about Dave's services, but I'll just some it up by saying that he made my wedding day perfect. Highly recommend to anyone!

We worked with DJ Brandon for our fall 2016 wedding in Thurmont, MD! Brandon was amazing to work with- easy going and very responsive. From the moment we sent our first email to Dave inquiring about his services, he was extremely responsive and appeared genuinely excited and prepared to help us make our wedding day everything we wanted and more. That on top of his reasonable prices made him a no brainer choice for us. Dave’s responsiveness to all of questions and requests never changed and he always worked to ensure that everything is what we wanted. I had a few surprises for my husband and he made sure that my husband did not find out about them and confirmed those details via email with me. On the day of the event, he arrived with plenty of time to set up and ensure everything was functioning properly. Our minister is soft spoken and that with a windy, outdoor wedding, he was able to ensure our guests could hear our ceremony by providing a small microphone and speaker. We gave Dave the freedom play the music he felt would keep our guests dancing, and he did an amazing job because our dance floor was never empty!
Dave’s wife was also in attendance to assist him, and she was just as amazing as he was. We found out after our wedding, that during our ceremony, one of grandparents was cold, and Dave’s wife took it upon herself to give up her coat to ensure that our grandparent was comfortable. She was generous enough to allow our grandparent to wear the jacket until the time that our grandparent left. Dave and his wife were so amazing to work with and made it their goal to ensure our day was absolutely perfect.

I was so excited to be able to hire a Dj and Photographer all in one package. I was a little concerned at first, and was not sure what to expect. My Dj Phil, was awesome, he was super helpful and walked through every aspect of my ceremony/reception the week before. I definitely felt at ease knowing that he was so well versed on everything. Our Photographer Nizam was also awesome, he understood how important the photographs were to us and made sure to capture as many as he could throughout the night. I cannot wait to see the shots he got.

DJ Dave was very professional and accommodating. His prices are very affordable and he did a great job at our wedding. He is also very thoughtful and can roll with the punches when last minute changes are made. My grandparents were added to the list (last minute) to walk into the reception room with us and he reacted quickly by jotting down their names and asking us to verify the proper pronunciation of their names. He pronounced their names fairly well for someone who does not speak Korean!

We used Brandon from Event Entertainment for our October 1st wedding and we couldn't be happier! From start to finish he did a great job. We met with him twice prior to the wedding and he was always available to answer questions leading up to the day. He cared about the type of music we wanted and how we wanted the day to flow. Overall, we loved the mix of music he chose. There was something for everyone. Also, we appreciated that Event Entertainment was pretty affordable for the Baltimore area but they didn't sacrifice quality. We highly recommend Brandon and the Event Team!

Event Entertainment played a big part in the absolutely perfect day for my daughters wedding, from start to finish. The DJ Brandon was excellent. My son's wedding was at Grey Rock Mansion. We had to find a new DJ about three weeks before the wedding. My son and his wife had been at a friend's wedding recently and Dave Holmes' DJ company did a great job at the event.
We contacted Dave who immediately responded and notified us that DJ Steve was available. He was amazing! He was in contact with the bride and groom several times and made the whole process seemless. He provided cordless microphones for the ceremony and did some uplighting in the tent for dinner. He was very professional and the dance floor was full all night. Thank you Steve!!

It was absolutely great working with Dave and we are so thankful for the fantastic job he did as our wedding DJ. I cannot thank Event Entertainment enough for all of their hard-work for my wedding on July 16, 2016. DJ Dave Holmes was AMAZING! He met with my husband and I before the wedding to go over all the details! He wanted to make sure that he had everything correct before the day of. We weren't exactly sure of what music to play during the ceremony, but Dave had a whole bunch of ideas to help us decide! We also decided to use their photography and photo booth services. These services were just as exceptional as the DJ service!! Rob was our photographer and he was just outstanding! Very professional, but very relaxed at the same time! He took AMAZING pictures and returned them to us on a CD very fast!! The photo booth was a BIG hit with my family. They loved all the props and the fact that everyone got their own copy of the pictures. I received a CD 2 weeks later that had all of the photo booth pictures on it. Dave even took a video of the wedding which was GREAT because I didn't even think of that. I also received a DVD of the video that was made! I enjoyed each and every picture. My day was captured perfectly and I am so happy that I had Event Entertainment there to help make my special day perfect!!

My wife and I really cannot thank Event Entertainment enough for their DJ services. We researched many DJ companies, but most of them either did not fit our personality or were very expensive. We found Event Entertainment when my wife attended the "Brides Against Breast Cancer" event held in the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Dave Holmes (the owner) and DJ Brandon were incredible with communicating with us upon initial contact. They were in our price range and prepared us with all of the details well in advance. They provided up-lighting and they were familiar with our venue, too. To be honest, they were the only vendor who responded immediately to our endless e-mails of questions. As a bride and groom, it was very appreciative to be made a priority in planning one of the best days of our lives. We only met with them when we first signed the contract and two weeks before our wedding day, but it felt like we almost had monthly meetings because their attentiveness and prompt responses. Our last meeting really was the icing on the cake... We met with DJ Brandon two weeks before the wedding to finalize the timeline and playlist. All of the puzzle pieces came together and they were truly the glue to our wedding day. DJ Brandon was incredibly helpful with working out all of the final details, including music suggestions for the ceremony processional, recessional, wedding party introductions, parent dances, etc. It alleviated any stress we had leading up to the actual day. We ended up extending our reception in the weeks leading up to the wedding and Dave was very accommodating with us. The day of our wedding was amazing! DJ Brandon kept us on track with our timeline and did a great job interacting with our guests. He also put together a CD with our playlist which was such a special touch. We have him to thank for making our wedding unforgettable!
